I am angry I did not know this place was right down the street from me. The food amazing, the drinkn woooooohooooo baby it was HUGE & delicious. Honestly we had an amazing experience excellent service. Covid precautions were followed for a safe comfortable time, can not wait to go back
Wow!! I had the fajipineapple bowl..OMG...it was delicious..pineapples steak chicken and shrimp..with onions green peppers and tomatoes in a pineapple bowl..Goes well with a Margarita on the rocks😋..Cesar was my waiter, he was was very nice and helpful. I will definitely be back..
This restaurant is the staple when I come visit my brother and his family. My niece had a half day and was super excited to go eat with her uncle... Mexican it was !The lunch menu had exactly what I was thinking..chicken relleno quesadillaI have eaten the food from here many of times when visiting. This was my first time in restaurant and man they nailed it!Phenomenal service and the food was spot on like always.I was very pleased with the family friendly atmosphere and bathrooms were clean!Thank you for being awesome on our visit!Respectfully,BryanOklahoma City, OK
This place is horrible for carry-out! They never get the orders correct! The guy taking the order doesn’t know the menu. This has happened now 5 or 6 times! They also do not honor their specials or claim the their web page hasn’t been updated to reflect their new (increased) prices. I’m done!!
Ive eaten here before and it is always delicious. There are signs posted everywhere stating that they are short-staffed and to be patient. What they are not short on is customer service. Our server was very nice, polite and accommodating. The restaurant was VERY busy and of course it took long than expected but thats ok, because thats the world we live in now. The staff was running around, doing the best they could to service a very busy restaurant with a smaller staff than normal. The food was excellent and the service was excellent. I wish I knew out servers name but we left our receipt behind. He did excellent. Thanks!
Nice Mexican fare with a bar available. I only knock it down one star because theres only one salsa. If you want to spice it up you have to add heat from the hot sauces on the table, but its still the same basic sauce. However, I still recommend the restaurant highly. The interior is comfortable and well decorated and the food is tasty.
Usually we dine in and there has never been an issue. The food is really good and excellent value. However, ordered takeout for the first time on Saturday February 27th and was really disappointed. I ordered and paid in the restaurant and told it would be 20 minutes. Waited in my car. Came back in no sign of order. The order number I was given did not match what was in the system. I approached 2 separate staff members who offered to check on it but neither got back to me with information. After waiting 50 minutes, I finally got my food, no explanation. I suspect my order had been overlooked but no one was up front enough to tell me that. It was really busy and I understand things go wrong but I think they need a better system for takeout orders. Some people were given pagers, some were just told to wait in their cars, some just hung about depending on who took the order. I will think twice about going back.
If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Ordered takeout from here and the food was absolutely terrible. A 7 year old could have made better food than this.First of all, they messed up the order and gave us a cheese enchilada instead of bean enchilada. The bean burrito was literally a tortilla with ONLY beans inside. No toppings, no sauce or anything! The quantity is so small for the price.
Ate there with my family last night. Saw the signs saying they were short staffed so we planned on being patient with the staff as times are hard these days and its not their fault. We had a party of 4 and two of us had shredded chicken. At about 3:30 this morning I had severe diarrhea and eventually started vomiting. My dad, who also had chicken had a similar experience. Not sure if youre cutting corners on the quality of your food handling but dont plan on going back any time soon
Were from out of town, found this place online. Not real impressed with the reviews but we were close and had no other real option. Glad we found you. Impressed with staff, decor, and the food. Staff (understaff) was rolling copious amounts of take out while we were there. Bags full. That being said, we waited a little longer than we should have but short staffed is short staffed. Food was delicious with generous portions and priced well. Very glad we took the time. Thank you Los Tres Amigos
ANTS IN OUR DRINKS!Have eaten here several times before with no issues. Tonight, we found dead ants in our fountain drinks. Disgusting! Manager couldnt be bothered to talk to us about it. They didnt even offer to comp the meal. Terrible customer service. Will never be back.
Four out of five meals not hot. Three of five wrong toppings, three of five not very good small portion of tasteless beans, salsa was watery, I didnt even get the right drink twice. Water instead of tea. Will never go back. Pic is of obviously frozen very small two bites gone chicken chimi.
Should have gave 0 but it made me give 1. The service was terrible, yes I do get at this point in time they are short staffed, but making customers wait 40 minutes for food, and it being wrong not once but twice, is not good customer service. Also the tall white server, is a complete jerk. He did not check on us even once, and he said we were giving him the stink eye, when we trying to wave him over. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RECOMMEND GOING HERE.
My food was cold and bland. My fajitas werent even sizzling and lukewarm, BUT THE TABLE ACROSS FROM US HAD FRESH SIZZLING FAJITAS🤔 afterwards. Make it make sense!!! No one checked on us after finally bringing our food out. Horrible experience, Im disappointed with this location. Its obvious why we werent provided better customer service...👩🏾
Terrible food and service. Ordered Vegetarian Fajitas, expected mixed vegetables but no, they were full of Bell Peppers. Its as if they bought Bell Peppers on sale and shoved it down our throat. Chimichanga was supposed to be crispy instead it was soft and runny. I exclusively checked Yes, I want Utensils and Napkins when I ordered online but none were given. If this is your way of saving money, its disgusting. I will never return and will make sure all my friends know about this too.
I ordered online. My order was supposed to be ready in 45 mins. I waited an hour. My order was still not ready and about 20 other customers were packed in the restaurant, shoulder-to-shoulder. No one seemed to know what was going on. There was a huge line at the counter & I asked an employee if I needed to wait in the line if I already ordered online and paid, and was told no. After waiting an hour, I heard that orders placed online werent even placed in the queue to be prepared until customers went up to the register and then it was another hour wait for food. I was forced to either wait in the line at the counter so I could cancel or forfeit the money Id already paid for my food. After waiting nearly two hours for food in a packed restaurant with a lack of social distancing, I left without food. This whole time, the restaurant was continuing to seat customers that had just walked in the door though they couldnt handle the customers they had. Just greedy! Ugh.
They seated us Fast got our drinks and food on a timely manner but the waiter acted as if we didnt matter never checked on us once we got our food never asked if anyone needed a refill or even if we wanted to order a dessert or if anyone wanted a box to go home with our left overs. When asked the server for the bill we asked why he didnt check in with us. He said hes sorry but he had 5 or 6 Tables outside plus us inside and he wasnt the only waiter. After bill was paid we seen the patio and there was only 2 Tables with 3 people each. We spoke to owner but he acted like its no big deal. But if your patrons get horrible service by your wait staff it reflects on your business and lively hood. We will Never go back to this establishment again. I will stick to my Ypsilanti Los Amigos instead.
My coworkers and I ordered take out from the Canton Los Tres Amigos location for lunch today (8-21-21) and I ordered the Vegetable Chimichanga. Instead of the Vegetables Chimichanga I received refried beans wrapped in a tortilla. They charged me 11.50 plus tax for it. This is absolutely ridiculous, it’s basically stealing.
Friendly and inviting atmosphere. Great large patio! Perfect for Happy hour drinks and food. Good food over all. Reasonably priced drinks and food. Good Happy Hour specials every day. Kitchen had a hard time managing large party of 12...took way to long to get our food (50min from ordering)when there was not many people in the restaurant.
This is the first time I visited this location. I usually go to the Plymouth rd location right off 275. Very happy with my meal. I have tried several menu options and have always been more than happy. The service was great, friendly and attentive. Would recommend to anyone looking for good mexican food. They have a good lunch menu selection as well.
Theres no excuse for the service tonight on our take out order! After waiting a hour and a half a customer in front of us complained why it was taking so long, only to find out our orders were not sent to the back! We were told it would be atleast another 25 minute wait.We decided to get a refund, and when the manager came up to ok our refund,no appoligies or Im sorry or even a offer of m as king it right! If this is how a business operayes, they dont need my business and I wont be back. There were atleast 6 other people, this happened to also,no appigies what so ever! Again we we wont be back!!!!
This is quite possibly one of the worst of the boring suburban Mexican restaurants I have ever eaten at. The take-out portions are tiny and the food is extremely overpriced for the quality. The Burrito Cochinita is a joke. Some mushy, bland pork in a small flour tortilla with a bit of cheese sauce on top. I paid $12 for this? Im quite certain that people in Canton have no taste buds if theyre willing to rate this place so highly. Never again.
Im from Los Angeles and it has been a challenge finding great Mexican food since I came to the Midwest. However, I was very impressed with this establishment.Pros:For starters, most places never give you enough salsa with your chips. This place leaves you with a little glass jar full of salsa, and if you want more they fill it up again. I dont know why every resturaunt doesnt do it this way but it was awesome! Also, the salsa is very tastyPortion sizes were good and the prices were very reasonable, especially for the kids plate. The service was friendly and great! The food arrived very quick. Granted, it wasnt very busy when we went but holy moly theybwere fast and the food was piping hot!The restrooms were CLEAN!Cons:Rice was a little on the dry side. The enchiladas were made with corn tortillas, and for me personally, corn tortillas always have a slighlty uncooked texture to them. It tasted fine, just not my favorite.Overall, my experience was great and I would recommend this establishment to anyone.
Excellent service and very friendly staff. Ive been here 10+ times and Ive never had a bad experience.Food is typical of what most semi-authentic Mexican restaurants offer, but is prepared with care and attention to detail.Drinks, Margaritas especially, are amazing and are the reason why I keep coming back!
I have been here many times, and usually it is always a good experience. But I went with a group of girlfriends last Friday and the service was terrible. We sat on the patio and it took our waitress forever to take our drink orders. And after that it took even longer to get a second drink or a third drink. They would have made a lot more money off of us but the service was extremely slow, Im not sure if they were short-staffed or what but it sure seem like it. The bus boys need to remember as well that many people that go there are fluent in Spanish and can understand everything that they are saying. I dont think Ill be going back for a while unless I hear that the service has improved. It also took about 15 minutes just to pay for our bill because there was one register in the front of the restaurant and the young lady was very slow on processing our orders. I hope they can improve their service because their food has always been relatively good, the patio was not even full when we were there.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS - I have gone to Los Tres Amigos in Canton several times before. They must have made some cost cutting moves because this time I got very sick. I should have known better due to the little things, like food left on the window sill, food left on the chair, and sticky menus, that the cleanliness was not up to what it should be. We were there at 8:00pm on Sat Jan 18. I ordered the Burrito Pacifico, my favorite. We left the restaurant at 9:00 and by 10:00pm I was extremely sick. I had bad stomach cramps, nausea, sweaty, and other symptoms Im sure you dont want to hear. I was up all night and my symptoms lasted until 5:00am the next morning. I will never go there again. If this is reviewed by Los Tres Amigos, I have left you enough information in this review to verify my being there, dont bother contacting me. I have never been so sick.
This has got to be the best Mexican food I have ever had. It really tastes like authentic Mexican. The spices were just perfect. The atmosphere was very engaging. The decor is very cozy. The food we ordered was fresh but took a little long to come. Overall though, I would definitely recommend.
Worse food ever. On May 4th 2018 I went with my husband to have some drinks and dinner. We sat at the bar because the tables were full. The bar was dirty and I had to call someone over to clean it. Then the food came...mine arrived cold, it was not heated all the way through and the rice was old and clumped together. The couple next to us also complained about the poor food. The manager came out and did not even offer to take the awful stuff off the bill. He kept asking me to order a replacement dish...I was not even hungry by then. He was rude and uncaring and treated the other couple the same way. I could not eat anything and was disappointed.
Never had an issues, always had a good experience her until after they opened dining back up after the Covid outbreak. Visited twice to sit on the patio within the last month. 1st visit, appeared short staffed and we were forgotten about quite a few times, initial wait for the drink order, waited quite a while to put in an order. Food arrived in a decent time period once order was in. Another substantial wait for the Bill to be given, picked up and returned. We werent happy but decides to give another try yesterday, benefit of the doubt that it was just that day. 2nd visit: Asked for patio seating for 2. 2 sets of people that came in after us were seated before us. I went in to let them know rights as the 2nd group was seated. I was told we will get a table cleaned right off for you. Lots of confusion at the host stand. Apparently, we were missed, it happens but I waited another 10 mins without a table and we left. I know places can be short staffed right now and busy but this was a local go to for us and its just a dissapointment by service or lack of.
I was really impressed by my visit to Los Tres Amigos in Canton. We went on a Saturday night with a large party and we received fantastic service. We brought a cake for a friends birthday and they kept it in the kitchen for us until we were ready, brought us a knife to cut it, etc etc - very accommodating! Also, the large margaritas were as big as my face and very tasty... I felt like I should have split one!
I have ordered takeout from Los Tres Amigos 4 times. Each of the 4 times they have either forgotten to package an item or given the wrong items completely (sometimes both!) Tonight was the final straw. We ordered 2 chicken burritos with no beans and chips and queso. We got home with no queso and 2 chicken burritos with beans.
HI all Vegetarians.. be careful when you order vegetarian food here. I am going to this restaurant since last 5 years and there was never an issue but since last two times when i ordered burrito and enchiladas for my son it came with meat. I specifically told them both the time that we are vegetarian but i think there is some communication issue in this restaurant. Please be careful ;you dont know what you are eating...
My sister and I ordered a burrito from this restaurant. After a few bites, I developed an allergic reaction. We both have a peanut allergy. I called the restaurant and was informed that all sauces from this restaurant contain peanut, despite their menu not listing any use of peanuts or tree nuts in any of their dishes. My sister also developed a reaction, and she is pregnant. This is incredibly dangerous and negligent that the restaurant would not list these ingredients. I will never eat here again.
*Did not get to actually sample food, review based on customer - worker interaction*Friend called in and ordered for carryout today (5/25/2020) for a smaller order for two - the employee taking the order gave a total and an estimated pickup time (no name for the order, which is important for the next part). We arrived at the restaurant and I went in to cash out, had to wait for the woman in front of me to finish her transaction and rant about the guy that was just in there not wearing a mask - worker ringing out orders asked for my order # - told him it was a phone order under Such&Such name, cited off the items on the order. He shook his head and said he needs the order number. Asked him to hold on I would go double check to see if friend had a number in the car.Went out to the car to ask if they gave an order number via text or something, since I was in the room as he ordered it and they definitely didnt give an order # audibly, he said no but told me the items on the order again and I went back into the restaurant.Informed the guy that we didnt have an order number but I could give him the phone number we called with in addition to what should be on the ticket and he went over to the long carry-out table and started pointing at all the receipts on the bags and a handful of receipts in his hand and said he has many orders and needed an order # to find mine.Realizing the back and forth was going no where and I hadnt actually paid for the food yet, I decided to laugh and said okay. And that, children, is the story of how I had leftover BBQ for dinner. Hope one of the workers enjoys the enchiladas and burrito.P.S. - If the owner or management reads these, you guys might want to start taking names or numbers for orders when dealing with mobile orders in the future, will save you some headache.
The restaurant is beautiful, the artwork, the chairs, everything is so beautiful however, the rice is Bland, I make Mexican rice and Ive been to many many many Mexican restaurants and that has to be one of the blandas races Ive ever had. The chips and salsa was good, the waitress was super nice but was not coming back but like every 30 minutes for refills or what have you and there was nobody in there so I dont know why that was happening. I would just say I wouldnt go there again. Once we were leaving a lot of people started showing up for dinner so they must like it so I guess it depends on who it is. I was there with other friends who also eat at various Mexican restaurants and they werent too pleased either. I guess it just depends on your taste buds. Give it a try on your own. Beautiful place, nice staff, its just not for me.
Placed an order with Grub Hub. Simple order. 2 botanas but just one with no meat. The one with no meat had none of the veggie toppings and pretty much was beans, lettuce and cheese. The person I spoke to on the phone wanted to argue. Well then YOU need to call Grub Hub or YOU need to come up. And made sure I knew to return the wrong order. This was not my mistake or Grub Hubs. The reason I pay extra through Grub Hub is to not leave the house at that time. I will never go here again. The only reason I ordered was because my favorite place doesn’t deliver through the food delivery places. And I’ve always received correct orders from them and great customer service. And please don’t respond with a generic sorry we can make it better. Just dm us. It won’t work here.
Mothers day (my day). Service was POOR! Many errors in our orders. Did not have utensils to eat until I got up & asked for our table (of 5 people). Bill came with items we did not receive/sent back. Manager did not apologize, but did remove items we did not receive. Manager did not seem concerned with our displeasure. I even started out our conversation asking if there was a change in ownership. I was concerned because we had been here many times over the years! WILL NOT RETURN!!
We tried this place for the first time tonight and got takeout. The chicken enchiladas were mediocre at best, just dry shredded chicken wrapped in a tortilla with a little sauce drizzled on top. There was very little rice on the side and I didnt get any guacamole which is in the description on the menu. My husbands serving of pollo ranchero was decent but much smaller than he was expecting. The salsa was good but the tortilla chips had zero salt. Overall we were pretty disappointed and in the future, well stick with the other Mexican restaurant in Canton.
Los Tres Amigos is a chain of quality Mexican restaurants. This location is no exception. The food is well priced, well portioned(relatively large), and agreeable to the pallet. The food is very Tex-Mex themed. The environment is very family friendly with bright and festive decor. Service is prompt, and food is cooked and delivered quickly(surprisingly even). The wait staff did drop the ball, with a but of distracted talking with co-workers as we waited to check out.Overall it is a very enjoyable experience. Hasta luego Tres Amigos!
Our favorite local Mexican restaurant here in Canton, the food is excellent and the service is almost always outstanding. Once in awhile, because theyre so popular they get a little behind, but thats okay when you consider the reason why. The guys who work the lunch hour are great!
This is a Mexican restaurant with good food and a large menu. It is one of the better restaurants in the area... I live the fish tacos and my familys loves the fajitas and the quesadillas.... Food comes out hit and quick. They ave a nice outdoor patio for a fresco feel if you so desire.
Honestly, if this had been my first time here I would probably never go back. I always raved about how this place reminded me of the Mexican food I grew up on in Arizona. Theyve changed their chips, they almost taste burnt. Theyre not light and crispy like they used to be. And the shredded chicken was just dry and somewhat flavorless. I hate to give a bad review to this place because I used to really love it. I hope that they go back to using the old chips and do a better job with the chicken, I will try it at least one more time.
Worst experience ever! My meat was burnt not just mine but everyone at my tables meat was way over cooked so burnt that we couldnt even bite through and they had one server running himself to death to serve all tables while other employees stood around and manager sat at bar. I will never return to this restaurant!
It was a good experience! I would recommend the queso blanco dip- it tasted great. They had an entire vegetarian section of their menu, which I appreciated. We found a chunk of meat in one of our vegetarian dishes, but our server was kind, and it was remade right away.
Ive been here twice both times for a birthday dinner... and honestly the food is just not good I keep thinking its what Im ordering( chicken fajitas, steak burrito) but no its just not good their meat is very under season and it has a lot of gristle and fat in it ...theres nothing worse than biting into a burrito and having to spit something out because its hard and gummy! Yuk yuk this is probably the last Mexican restaurant I would recommend.... but they do have really good salsa!
My husband and I use to love this restaurant. However we were there a couple of weeks ago and it was a bad experience! We arrived at 6pm and the chips were stale, salsa was watery , it was unusually warm and humid in the restaurant, and the food was not good. Most likely will seek out a New Mexican restaurant.
There was no waiting in line to be seated and it took over 15 mins before someone came to seat us. Once we got seated, we were given water, chips and salsa. 20 mins goes by and no one bothered to come to take our order. Whats more disturbing was, they took the order of the couple across from us whos only been there for 5 mins and was served their drinks. We left and went someplace else which we were very pleased. Bad service usually bring the business down. Were not coming back!
We placed an order at 3:00 pm for 6:00 pm pickup. We waited outside from 5:55 pm until 6:25 pm and then left without food. They had no plan in place. to people to wait. There were no employees in sight to help and people were milling outside the door with no idea what to do completely unprotected. They did not answer the phone until 8:40 at which point I was told they pretty much didnt care. Extremely bad planning on their part.
Worse experience I have had in a while! My drink order was wrong but I kept it. My food order was wrong so I declined it and was told Thats what you ordered when I am aware of what I ordered. No apology, the waiter just stormed back to the kitchen. When he came back I politely declined and paid for the poor drink and left. I will NEVER go back!
Loved the food, it reminded me of my favorite Mexican restaurant in Virginia. The food was tasty and colorful and very affordable. They have a beautiful wide variety of authentic style dishes to choose from, but dont take my advice or the failed advice of anyone who just eats tacos... Go try it yourself and you be the judge.
Food is always good. Unfortunately service today was terrible. We had to flag someone down more than 10 minutes after being seated, and still had to another 5-10 minutes before a server finally came to our table. While they werent very busy when we arrived, food also took longer to come out today, which was out of the ordinary for Tres Amigos. Hopefully this type of sevice wont last. : (
This location makes a really good steak burrito. Unfortunately, the chips are offputting. They tasted like cardboard. My friend and I equally shared our dislike for the chips...a small but wildly important part of any Mexican restaurant. I had a paloma and mango margarita to drink and did not care for either of them. My friend really enjoyed her drinks but I prefer a well mixed cocktail that doesnt taste like straight up tequila. I know this sounds like an odd complaint from someone who loves a good drink, but balance is important. I also found that my cheese & chorizo dip had a burnt aftertaste. Maybe they were having an off day. I will probably be back to give them another shot. Service was awesome, by the way.
The Canton Charter Township location of Los Tres Amigos is a nice getaway. It is a very clean place and the outside is very attractive. There is plenty of outdoor seating. The parking lot is ample. During off peak traffic hours it is easy to get into and out of the parking lot.The staff was a little flummoxed when I was there recently but they were adapting to new workers. The management was responsive when a question was asked about what to charge for a side of chipotle sauce – which I requested for my fajitas. I really love camerones chipotle (shrimp with chipotle). After ordering takeout there was no immediate place indoors to sit down unless I took a booth. I sat outside and waited for the 15 minutes I was told it would take. I went back to check and it was not ready and the staff behaved as I had just arrived for the first time. I took a seat in the alcove and the rug ended up getting stuck. The entryway is rather narrow. Our recent visit was disappointing. One dish was burnt. My plate was cracked. The flavor and presentation seemed more like packaged Mexican freezer food than authentic cuisine.
Had a lunch birthday party for my husband, service was fast and very friendly. the food was really good, everyone got different stuff and everyone loved it. we walked in with a cake and without even asking dessert plates, spoons and napkins showed up as we were finishing our lunch. totally go here and look at valpak for coupons it saved us $10.
So, I have never had better refried beans. Sounds crazy but they are. They have made fresh guac when not too busy and it is fabulous. They have a pretty good patio. Their marinated chicken is very good. Usually my meal here is fresh guac and a margarita that is lime, on the rocks.
Honestly the worst Mexican food around. I only went there because I was joining a group of others who decided on that location. Somehow, everything seemed like it came out of a can. Even the flour tortillas. I guarantee the salsa was purchased in a 50 gallon drum for no more than $1.50. It was basically red water. The entree was too basic to even waste words on. The ambiance is standard Mexican and thats fine, of course. Im giving 1 star because the service was the only thing of value. If you dined here 6 years or so ago, you may have had the opposite experience. Trust me, its a new era in this joint. Theyve completely given up. They dont want you back. I think the host even said, goodbye forever, as we left. He said goodbye, but the meal definitely said forever.
2nd time I came here. 1st time was to dine in. Have had better customer service from Verizon! If that is possible. 2nd time I thought I would try carry out. I ordered ahead to avoid the wait. They said my Botana and large order of chips and salsa would be ready in 20 minutes. Great! I gave them 30 minutes to be sure it was ready. I walk in to grab my food and go. Yeah! They didnt even ring it up. Had to wait 20 minutes anyway. So.... 50 damn minutes for a Botana and some chips and salsa! WILL NOT BE BACK!
It takes months to create a customer, and seconds to lose one. And they lost me. Aaron was the worse server I’ve ever had in my life. Period. They need to invest more time in training their employees. If you want mediocre Mexican food and terrible service, then this is the place for you!!! Driving 30 minutes to go to an authentic Mexican restaurant in Detroit (Mi Pueblo) is worth every dollar.
Horrible service!!! Manager took out on me that their cook ruined my meal by defrosting the logistionos in the microwave because i complained about the extra fishy taste and smell! I also asked to substitute the rice for something else upon ordering because I eat pescatarian style and the waiter would not do it! I handed my food back to the waiter (by the way they switched waiters half way through our meal and never said a word why! ) we never got everything we asked for either still waiting on extra salsa! The waiter never apologized for the food being horrible, just said that the cook defrosted it wrong and that the manager was mad at him.. when i requested the manager come by to discuss them still wanting to charge me for good i didnt eat he never apologized and stormed off wth?! We waited over 20 minutes for a check that never came! We ended up having to go to the front counter ourselves as we never saw either waiter again! The manager darwin was at the font counter counting guest checks up never acknowledged us our apologized only the lady cashing us out did. We told them we will never go back!!
My food was a little cold when it came out and tasted very old and I was excited to eat there after getting off of work 😩 however I still left a generous tip for the waiter because he really tried and I still felt it was the right thing to do during these challenging times with covid19
Okay-- first time at this location today. Ive been to the one recently on Ann Arbor Rd....I called in my order nothing complicated.. Yes, they were crowded, but to get my order was good timing....HOWEVER....Why when I get home there is NO sour cream w/ my order! and one container to salsa....Im like Wow! I even indicated sour cream on the side....did I mention I got the nachos w/ beef half order....If I had not changed my clothes, started the movie I would head back up there...sorry, but can I get sour cream. My fault for not checking....Wow! I know. I know. I should have checked my order b4 I left....I will do better next time....nachos and NO sour cream....its a lot........
Great mexican cuisine.. Clean, well kept location with a lively decor.. It is quite a bit smaller than the Ann Arbor road location which in my opinion just makes it a more cozy place to have a meal.. You must try a margarita if you happen to visit for lunch or dinner
Decided to try a new mexican restaurant in the area. Bad mistake. First they sat me and lovely boyfriend in the first booth by the front door so every time someone came and went. My ass got a lovely ass massage and smacking from the vibrations and slamming from the door. I love a good ass massage and smacking. But not at a family establishment. Also the booth is blocking the fire the alarm. Major fire hazard. Good thing a fire didnt break out while we were there. SO MOVE THAT BOOTH PLEASE. Second they provided a new drink menu which the waiter further noted that they might not have all the ingredients for a drink if we pick from the menu. So I ordered a Mudslide shooter and a Zombie my boyfriend ordered a single shot of Captain Morgan and coke. No problem there, but wheres my zombie? Waiter had a slight case of amnesia and forgot my zombie drink. He goes to get my drink and came back to informed me that they couldnt make the zombie because they did not have all the ingredients. So I asked for the old drink menu, which they did not have. So I plan B it by ordering a Long Island Iced Tea. Third I ordered a vegetarian chimichanga and my boyfriend ordered 3 chicken tacos. My Chimichanga came out not fried. But as a regular burrito. Chimichangas are deep fried burritos Amigos. Besides not having it fried it was good. My boyfriends food was good but it didnt fill him up, because the portion was too small. So he had to ordered another meal. So he gave the restaurant two stars. Overall I give Los Tres Amigos three stars. Food was good, but I had better. Drink menu werent current, and it was a fire hazard.
Food is good... Service, not so much. EVERY time I order takeout the service is incompetent. You call in and order a simple carne asada taco, or botana and they complain that they dont know what that is and that I need to hold on while they figure it out... If this doesnt happen, dont worry, when you pickup your order you will get something you didnt order. If they dont know what that carne asada taco is, or what that botana is, they will just simply order you something else, stating they got your order right. Not to mention every time you go there your bill will be different, even if you order the same thing every time.
Service was fine, nothing special. The waiter did not have knowledge of Mexican dishes when I asked if they served botanas or steak milanesa (they had neither). I ordered enchiladas four ways. The ground beef one was gross and the sauce had a familiar canned flavor. My wife ordered chicken chimichangas dinner but it only came with one chimichanga, surprisingly. Everywhere else there are 2. And come on, beans and rice didnt come with my meal.
The food was horrible...it tasted like it came out of a can. I ordered enchiladas with spinach & cheese...when it came out it had this gross green sauce and the menu showed red sauce....no cheese in the enchiladas and a sprinkle on top. When I told the waiter 10 minutes later because he never came back and I has to hunt him down that there was a problem and plz take it off my bill because I did not want anything else. When I got my bill he charged me...I told the owner and he started yapping to the waiter in mexican...never apologized or even seem to care and then turned around and charged me for my beans and rice LOL...needless so say I wont be back. If I wnat canned mexican I can go to Kroger and buy my own ingredients and it will taste 10x better anyhow. WORST MEXICAN FOOD EVER!
I think my previous post got deleted but I had to come back and post again. This place is flat out nasty. And I don’t mean the food the servers attitude is disgusting. From not informing us that the pina colada machine was broken to bringing the wrong order and then arguing that it was correct this place has gone down hill. The food is decent Which is why my family and I have given it multiple chances assuming that maybe they’re just having a off day but every time we come here it’s some new nasty thing, serving food in dirty dishes, or with unwashe silverware bugs on the table ( when I complained dude crushed it with a napkin and said oh all better ). And serving stale fried ice cream. Just an over all nasty place and when they don’t want to do their job they don’t. Don’t go here it’s jjst gunna end bad.
I would have given it a higher rating but I over heard one of the female staff yelling at another staff to kill it! Kill it! and then thats digusting. It put a funky spin on the beginning of my dinner. The staff should realize that they can be heard in the dining area.
Semi-clean restaurant. nice outdoor patio. margaritas just OK. food is lacking any mexican flavor. Chicken was just boiled with no seasoning. Chicken nachos swimming in pool of chicken water. Chicken tacos were decent but again the chicken was just boiled chicken with no flavor. dont come here for fulfilling mexican food urges. maybe come here for decent alcoholic drinks and a patio. service was good. very small portion of beans and rice with my meal. burritos were a sad excuse for mexican food.
Bad lunch, I got a chile relleno with a taco, my wife had seafood fajitas. My taco tasted like really bad quality canned meat, which the waitress was kind enough to take back and replace with a chicken taco, which was at least edible, though still not good. My chile relleno was good, but my wife was too polite to say anything about her seafood, she mentioned to me in the restaurant that it was fake krab, which I thought was OK, but when she got in the car she said the shrimp tasted really bad and she felt sick after eating a little bit of it, even though she brought the rest home as leftovers. We will not go back.

2022-01-19Dined here over the weekend for the first time and we werent disappointed. The decor/set up was quite colorful and pleasing. We ordered Vegetarian Chimichangas and Quesadillas along with a few drinks. The food was served pretty quickly and was flavorful. The margarita was delicious!

2022-04-27I would love to give 4 starsThe service is good the food is goodThe only thing is I wish you would drain the grease on your meat for the beef tacos on Tuesday.. They would make them taste better and easier on the stomach. Another suggestion is to leave bathroom doors open after cleaning during closing time to air out. Smells like old air

2021-09-27Update (9/27/2021): since I cant reply to Los Tres Amigos response Im putting it here. I see you give every review this same generic reply. Not one customer has stated that you have actually followed through with your promise to speak with management and actually tell us your remedy. Youve got plenty of reviews with the same complaints. Make the change and make it right.Im writing this review as I sit here in a booth. So far its taken 15 minutes to get chips and salsa. Another 5 minutes to get a drink order in after we had the chips and salsa thrown down haphazardly. Half an hour after being seated and we finally got our order taken. Overall wait time from being seated to getting food has been over an hour and 15 minutes. Weve watched several tables seated half an hour after us get their orders. When I got my food it was ice cold. The quesadilla rellena looked like fancy feast. Chips were dry, bland, and honestly gross. Queso made them mildly acceptable.I will say our waiter Wolf (hope I spelled your name right man) was very pleasant when he arrived. Wolf you get 5 stars.

2021-03-17This was my first time at the Canton location and my experience with my family was great!! First of the atmosphere was very nice. My children loved how colorful the set up is. Our waiter very very friendly, he checked on us often to make sure that we were satisfied. Our drinks her delicious. The food was really good. We have definitely found our new Taco Tuesday place!!Also, the bathrooms were clean, no tissue or anything on the floor.

2022-01-17My family and I used to love this place but it has gone down hill fast and I dont see any signs of recovering. I understand they are short staffed just like anyone else, so waiting is not a concern at all. The quality of food and cleanliness however is no good. Its very obvious that they havent changed their frying grease in a long time. When we ordered my son chicken tenders, they came out looking like the attached picture. When I mentioned they werent good, the waiter said he could make new ones but theyd come out the same because they vendor sent new style chicken. Fact is, theyd come out differently if theyd change the grease as theyre supposed to. Chips are always stale, beef has no flavor, rice has no flavor, and drinks are watered down. The last 4-5 times weve been there its been bad food. This was definitely the last time.

2022-03-06Very good food and very excellent staff! Despite being a bit short staffed due to everything going on, they still manage to deliver everything in a fast, kind, and very tasty way! It never fails to impress me how they can provide such a high quality of service!

2021-06-01Zero stars this visit. Coming back to this place after few years.. totally disappointed.Extremely biased and partial staff. They choose who to serve first and give good treatment.. does not matter who comes first. We did not even get water nor silverware without asking..We waited nearly 30 minutes after seating for someone to come take the order. After 1 hour of waiting some one comes out and says one of the vegetarian modification request cannot be made. They are just starting to cook the order?? What’s the h&ck?I was about to walk out if not for the free chips that we ate.. ok fine.. finally we got the order.. everything was bad.. terrible… literally everything.Waste of 60 bucks, disappointed family. This is the last ever time I will be going to this place.

2022-04-26Food is very bland. Small portions. Didnt feel I got my money worth. Everyone at the table had something wrong with their order. But customer service is suffering everywhere. Just wasnt a good first experience.
