Lowe’s customer service use to be great. Today, while visiting the store, I asked an flooring associate for assistance. He went and talked to his supervisor, Star, who said to tell me to go online. When I asked the associate if I could talk to Star in person he came back and said “she said to look online”. Look online for what - I don’t even have a UPC code. So disappointed.
The appliance salesperson was knowledgeable and extremely helpful! She found the dishwasher I had my heart set on, helped find what we would need to install it when we got home, helped us get checked out and loaded all in less then an hour. It was so easy to get to the Lowes in Bloofield Twp via expressway that we will be back again!
One of the worst store I ever experienced. Bought the Ego Snow Blower for $1500 a week back and they agreed to install and deliver. I called them this Wednesday to check the status before go there. I was put on hold for 15 minutes and the call went to a customer phone (not sure how in the world the call went to a customer cell phone). I called them again and waited for about 10 minutes to talk to an associate. He put me on hold for 10 minutes and came back with the status ready to pickup anytime. I went this morning to the store and the associates in the store have no clue where my snow blower was. Again they let me wait for 30 minutes and start searching for the battery and it’s charger. I requested them to provide me the boxes for all the product but they responded saying we don’t have any box and warranty book. After all these experience with this store, I lost my trust and cancelled my order. The store manager have to look into this and fix this before many other customers will experience such a horrible experience I had.BIG NO TO THIS STORE👎👎👎👎
Came today to buy window treatments. No one in department, asked someone for help, they paged for someone, left after 5 minutes of standing around. Too bad , was here to buy $ 270.00 worth of blinds, just needed them trimmed.Guess Lowes Bloomfield location has all the customers they need. As you can see they werent that busy by the number of cars in the parking lot.
I love the garden center at Lowes this time of year. Theyve got a great assortment of perennials and late summer and fall flowers. But they also have a clearance rack with plants that still have plenty of life in them for up to 50% off. And today at 6:00 p.m. the store was nice and quiet no huge lines and I got some nice plants to cover the bare spots in my flower bed. Now if it would just cool off enough for me to want to get out there and put them in tonight..
The Bloomfield store is much closer to my home, which is where I went today but over and over again I find that the people in the Bloomfield store are really not interested in customer service. I always have a much better experience when I go to the store in White Lake. When I was At the Bloomfield store today, I was looking for a particular item and the hardware guy was there. He pointed at where the item was which I was looking for and was turning away when I asked him if he could get them for me, because the items were clearly out of my reach. Never occurred to him to offer to help, which took him less than 3 minutes to actually do. Then I went over to the lumber department to look for something and both the people I talked to acted like they were annoyed that I was asking where something was. Just not a good experience. Again.Update: Being short staffed is understandable right now, but it would be nice if the staff who was there seemed interested in helping out when a person is looking for something.
No customer service whatsoever, people who work here are not helpful AT ALL, they dont give any advice or show their interest or enthusiasm for your projects.The people who work in the paint section are complete disaster, i was looking for stain for my hardwood stairs and brought them a piece of wood from my hardwood floor to match the color, they didnt acknowledge the sample and gave me a completely different color. Being new to staining I thought it will change after few hours when it dries, well it didnt and the color was very much milky while my hardwood floor is clear. We came back to them so they gave me a different color saying that this will match but it was much worse than the first one.I had to sand all 14 steps 2 times now and the color is horrible. I went to Home Depot and they were genuine and very helpful. you can feel the employees are trying to help and not dismissing you like Lowes.One other note, whether you buy 1 item or 20, you have to stand in the cashiers line for ever to check out, usually only 1 or 2 are open. I dont know why they dont have the self checkout kiosks !!!!
Its a real shame the 2 young guys; didnt have enough sense to help the 2 older senior citizens , place a bathroom vanity into the back of my pick up...HELLThey didnt even what to pull the order, out of stock!!!However, this location is well stocked, clean ; And has plenty of parking. But has some truly unmotivated male employees...real shame!
Always an excellent experience. Eddie in tool dept helped me find everything I was looking for and made recommendations if I needed it which I did! Superior customer service from Eddie for sure!! Tabitha helped me at customer service with multiple pendant light fixtures.
Helpful staff in Garden center... loaded up my truck with Mulch purchased and two young men seems fine with loading... you notice I really only post about businesses that have positive things to say!!...when I leave. The others businesses I visit and dont post .... well you know what to expect. Would you like to hear about the bad visits? It seems thats what people want...
I went to this building looking for to Pacific items this they said they had I even called they told me they had him by the time I made it to the store no one ever heard of the items I was looking for a complete waste of time and gas they probably have other cool stuff but nothing I was looking for that day
Not even sure where to start with this place. Placed two online orders and pickup took over 1 hour. Arrived home and moved the boxes of a kobalt workbench I purchased into my home. Next day when I opened the package I found the interior packaging had been shredded and mice feciese everywhere. On further inspection I found that 5 baby mice were still alive within the package. I contacted the Lowe’s Of Bloomfield where I had purchased the workbench and was offered $50 off my purchase. When I explained to the supervisor, Mark, that I had a box with live mice sitting in my house for 24 hours and the what was I to do if one had gotten out I was told jokingly he would give me a mouse trap on the house. I ended up having to drive to a different Lowe’s, spend another hour and exchange the workbench for one without mice.Later while assembling the workbench I found the hardware was missing for a drawer I had purchased I called the store again who of course had no others in stock. I asked Mark if he could just give me some bolts since the size was specified in the directions. I was told to “come get my stupid bolts” and then hung up ok by Mark. Certainly not what I would call professional. When I arrived at the store Mark had conveniently gone on his lunch break before ensuring he had located the parts. It took another hour working with an associate to obtain the correct sized package and get on my way.Overall I had 3+ hours involved in obtaining a Kobalt workbench. Next time my business will go to Menards or Home Depot.
I like Lowes because they have a lot of stuff Home depot doesnt. But I give this 2 stars because I placed an order online for curbside pick up for a small battery. After waiting over a few hours for a notification that my item is ready to be picked up I just left for the store to pick out the item from in store myself. When I arrived, I had asked the service desk about the order i paced real quick before wandering around the store to find this battery. The lady was very nice but tells me we dont have anyone doing online orders 🤦♂️ for that I give the rating I have because I wasted half a day waiting on something that took me 5mins to pick up just shopping for myself. Im not one to be lazy and pay someone else to shop for me but I figured with the pandemic I would be as courteous as possible towards the employees and the safety of their health.
I have had the most unimpressive service at Lowes for quite some time. For example, We went yesterday to possibly return some light fixtures but we were hoping to get some help instead. We told the customer service associate what we were hoping for, she told us there was no one to help us. We returned the light fixtures. We dont live near a Lowes, so we definitely go out of our way to go there. Sometimes their product or price is better, but... Their service is icing on the cake and I will do what I can to not drive there if I dont have to. Not worth it.
My experience started with three phone calls, two of which were hung up on immediately. Once I determined that my item was at the store, and got there they couldnt find it. I spent at least 20 minutes to a half an hour at the counter waiting for them to find my order. I was very very disappointed with this Lowes
We purchased a metal exterior door, screen door, and paint. Not saying because both were females who happened to help us, but both were professional, informative and took their time helping my husband and I.With everything that has went on, businesses being short staff, what a Blessing to have had this experience.
Mrs.Trena at Lowe’s Bloomfield and Telegraph is the BEST customer service employee in the world She has went above and beyond for me to get my product today . While other employees sat and watched and did not ask if I needed help . The Most High laid his hand on Mrs.Trena today. Bless her heart for her kindness . There should be way more people like her . She’s such a blessing . You just don’t understand what kind of day I had until I met Mrs.Trena . I just a bought a washer and dryer. The prices were great compare to other stores. It took a while for somebody to help us but it works out great at the end. Its schedule for delivery next Saturday. They are suppose to hook them up as well. I will draft my final review after the service is completed. Update: I took a star down because the delivery took basically a whole day and on top of that they could not hook it up. They were very nice but they do not have enough experience or knowledge for installation. So for me if they advertise deliver and installation they should have a professional technician as part of the crew.
NEVER purchase an appliance from Lowes. I ordered a gas range in the beginning of June, and its the middle of August, and I have yet to see it. Theyve contacted me about delivering it, and they never show up. Ive lost wages due to taking time off work waiting for them. Ive been left hanging, ignored, and hung up on when I call the store I ordered it from. Corporate customer assistance has been subpar as well. They said I have to contact the store for more information. Ive tried. They. Wont. Answer. And. They. Hang. Up. On. You. (I was standing at customer service, and literally watched them do that.)At this point, I just want my money back. But they said the delivery wasnt reordered correctly, (it did arrive once, but it was severely damaged) and now they want to give me store credit...which is over $600...and of which I used their store credit card to purchase it originally...and I have already paid it off...so yeah I dont think so. I refuse to use store credit at a store and company that treats me and others this way.
Not happy. While I do understand some of what occurred was beyond store employees control, I do not plan on shopping at any Lowes stores.Placed an online order for a dishwasher and refrigerator that according to website, there was a few in stock for both. About 5 hours after placing order noticed a missed call, but no message. Called store while on my way and was told they didnt have either, but Southfield store did have dishwasher. Went into store as I was offered to go in and see if we could pick out alternatives. Went back to appliance department only the have to wait longer and be told there was nothing they could do. Also told that they nshould have called instead of placing online order. What is the point of an online order, if you still have to call. Went back to customer service and waited for another 30 - 45 minutes to be told that Southfield had dishwasher and Commerce had fridge. Was assured that I could go pick up both. Drove to Southfield only to be told that they didnt have the dishwasher and that no one talked to him. Someone lied and that is at the store level. The ordering in stock items is definitely a corporate issue and the way they keep track of all that there is some issues there that need to be corrected.As a contractor I cannot afford to spend 4 hours trying to pick up appliances for a client.
I had a terrible experience.... With that being said Im well aware of the virus going around. I ordered my cabinet for curbside pick up early in the morning. I recieved my confirmation order and that was it. I called multiple times and was hung up on each time. I finally reached someone who said they would have to call me back. Never did. I showed up had to go inside to only find out they never pulled my order off the shelf. The customer service desk was rude and talking poorly of other employees while customers were waiting. I will never shop at this Lowes again. I get everyone is stressed and busy but at the same time this is a place business!!
The only reason Lowes gets 2 stars is because the employees are always very kind and willing to help, that is if you find an actual person to talk to. As a corporation, they have steadily declined over the years. It is impossible to get customer service or a department associate on the phone to check on inventory so that you dont make a wasted trip. The phone prompts are awful, and no one ever answers. If they do, they just forward you to another line that is never answered. The store itself is always critically under staffed. Corporate policy and customer service gets a 0.
1st experience with Lowes...We purchased a Samsung fridge, stove & microwave; The fridge was delayed for a month, then the microwave was to be delivered two months later...fine--it matches, so well wait. Two months later Comes delivery day, and we receive a call saying the microwave is damaged, they can order another, but it will take another 2 1/2 months for the delivery. I just did a refund and will not be shopping at Lowes again.
Went to the pro desk Tuesday to place a order. Was guaranteed delivery Thursday and guess what no delivery. I tried calling the store no answer so I drove up to the store and was told the pro desk never pulled my order and now they dont have what I ordered. Was told they would locate it at another store and call me Friday that never happened. Went back to the store and was told I had a guaranteed delivery date of Saturday 6-20-2020. I wake up Saturday to find out they double charged me so I tried calling again and get the run around. I go up to the store to demand answers and show them the proof that I had been double charged and was told there was nothing they could do until Monday. I have since called corporate and called my bank to dispute the charges. I would not recommend this store to anyone worst service I have ever received
Went to this store to buy a microwave and gas range, my microwave went out it’s says online they have in stock (no one answer the phone) so I can’t confirm it drove all the way from Grand Blanc to see and when I got there there’s none in stock. So I placed the order to buy it $1750 and I was told someone will call me when it comes in to store but one calls me I have to call them! come to find out they can’t get the range for me 6 days later. Come on! People deserve better service! There’s a lot of places I could of take my business but I gave this store a shot and it’s a complete disappointment!
Extremely frustrating. I was told that theyprice matched anything online and it was clarified by the manager. They had 1-2 sales people so it took forever to get help. Jaylin was an incredibly helpful and patient salesman and after we spent 1 hour and then I returned laterfor 3 hours looking up all 4 appliancesmeasurements online and matching prices, waiting for him to answer others questions as he was alone, he couldnt give the price match until the manager came and overrode the price. This manager said the site we looked on they just looked at for another customer and couldnt use their prices due to issues the original manager never mentioned. Had I knownthat from the beginning,I would have leftfrom the start.The store manager said all he coulddo was offer an additional 10% off and rudely asked why I was there for so long. I explained he had so little help on Black Friday weekend and Jaylin had to help others. After 4 hours of my patience, I left with nothing.2 managers, two very different explanations. I have never been more frustrated or wasted more time for such a large purchase.Salespeople were great, but some had limited knowledge which is part of the reason I left and came back, to do my own homework.
This rating is specifically for the 2 ladies working customer service on 9/13 @ noon.I arrived for a simple online order pickup. Nobody was even at customer service. About 5 minutes later 2 ladies showed up, loudly chatting and laughing at random things even while the one started to assist me. Very unprofessional. Took her another 5 minutes to find my stuff on the shelf. She dragged it all (heavy items) to me and I asked if I could get help or a cart to put my 3 boxes on, and I went to go pull up my car. I came back and she was gone. Not that I expected her to lift my heavy items but grabbing a cart or calling a male employee to assist wouldve been better customer service than ignoring my request and leaving me to drag out each box myself.This place must have new management because when I was in here about a year ago things were much more pleasant.
This place is by far the dirty lows I had ever been to and a hazard 60%of all lanes was blocked with material and over lap hanging out of spot so easy to trip or be blocked from walking down management needs to ticket for fire safety and fired.The bathrooms are disgusting along with bugs on the ceiling spoke to a assistant showed him everything and he agreed but I bet it is not fixed.
Generally a fan of Lowe’s, not sure what the problem is at this location. Multiple groups of 3-4 employees standing around talking to one another, didn’t even bother to look up let alone offer assistance. I didn’t need any help but it’s annoying to know that their costs are built into the products I buy. The one employee I actually saw working, the cashier, was moving at a snails pace.
This 5-star rating is strictly for Edward in the flooring department at the Bloomfield Hills Lowes. I cannot speak to any other associate in any other department at the store. I can only tell you that if you want to work with a friendly, EXTREMELY helpful and knowledgeable sales associate, Edward in the flooring department is THE associate to go to. He helped me in May when I needed to haul lots of bathroom tile from the bays. He answered all sorts of questions regarding grout. Months later, when I bought carpeting, I headed straight to Edward in flooring. He helped me weigh pros and cons and gave some really sound insight into padding. The entire ordering process was smooth sailing from start to finish. May all sales associates be as personable and knowledgeable as Edward! Lowes you did right by hiring this valuable associate! Edward, thank you for being YOU!!!
Very sad situation in America where no one is working therefore customer service is bad need more workers!!! When placing an order online and I get a notification my order is ready to come up there and find out its not ready and had to wait 30 min thats not ok really needs to be addressed.
Consistently poor customer service. Tried to utilize this store several times over the last four years and no matter what project you are trying to tackle they don’t have what you need and you can’t find anyone to get assistance. With two good options in Menards and Home Depot right down the street there is no reason to shop here.
..Great place. Bill was at the entrance and was very nice and knowledgeable and offered me a great deal on a credit card which I accepted. The 2 star rating is because the person at the register, I believe his name was Jonathan, had no clue how to ring up the sale and subtract the $30 offered with a new account, after Bill told me that it would be taken care of at the register. Had to go to the front of the store and wait in line again. Staff should know how to handle a promotion.
Purchased the appliance online 5/9. Was told a delivery date was 5/13, they called said appliance did not come in. Called later that afternoon and we told appliance was in, said they could deliver on 5/15. 10 min later they called and said they could not but would do 5/16. So I called first thing in the morning and they said yes its on the truck and delivery was scheduled between 1:30 and 5pm. At 11:30 I got a voice mail to call them about the order. Called they went to lunch, so after over an hour I was told that the delivery was cancelled. Another hour and was told that the Range did not come in. Liars....Cancelled the order....
Clean and well ordered store Easy to see what they have via Web site. Prices are a bit high. They do have some product that others dont carry, so definitely worth a look. Online order with pickup was sloooow. Went there anyway after 4 hours, sure didnt look like they were that busy. They put my order together in 10 min.
I was very happy with my experience in lumber. I needed quite a few boards cut to size and Demont was very nice to help me find the right board dimensions I needed and to cut the boards to the right length. He also told me the exact spot to find my fasteners for the boards. I had no trouble finding what I needed after his help. He deserves the recognition for going the extra mile and for helping me load things up in the car.
Jewell in the appliance department is the man! You guys have yourself a true jewel in him as an employee. He went over and above to help me and my wife find a new stove, washer and dryer. I could go anywhere and purchase a new fridge, microwave and dishwasher for our new house, but I will be back to work with Jewell and can’t imagine going anywhere else.
It would receive a 0-star review if I could. I will never use Lowes again. I ordered a fridge on 2/5 that was supposed to be delivered 2 weeks later. A whopping 2 months and 3 fridges later, this was finally resolved. The first fridge was dented so it had to be sent back. The second fridge had a broken component but was delivered anyway when I was told the component could be repaired. Then, they realized they couldnt repair it and had to deliver a third fridge. And now, in speaking with them about a refund, they are finding other ways to present more issues and headaches in only offering cash (which I cant pick up since I live 4,000 miles away ... thats why we order stuff online!) or a Lowes gift card (no thank you). Somehow, they cant seem to figure out how to refund my original credit card because they messed up the order. Shocking. I will never, ever use Lowes again and will tell anyone to avoid this company at all cost.
We have shopped for home renovations at various Lowes stores in IA, KS, MI, MO. This includes products, appliances, full kitchen remodel, doors, garage doors, flooring, paint, landscaping, and more. Just over the last 2 years, we spent over $50K. The Bloomfield Hills Lowes is, by far, the best Lowes stores in staff professionalism and helpfulness, product availability, online orders and pick up, and management.Management: We dealt with one of the store managers, Bill with a challenge with Appliances. Bill is one of the most helpful managers. Our new washer was defected. We struggled with getting maintenance to fix it because the purchase and warranty purchase transactions somehow didn’t automatically link as they should have. Neither corporate nor Lowes credit card was able to track even with the receipts and invoice numbers. We kept being told that the purchase was canceled. Which didn’t make sense since we paid for it, there was no refund, and we had the washer. Bill took the time to do a full audit and found the internal transaction corrections that neither corporate not Lowes credit were able to find, and then communicated to corporate to link the transactions. And because of the challenges we had over a few months, he approved a full exchange of the washer. What an incredible human being and a manager.Staff Professionalism and helpfulness: Every single one goes out of their way to help at this Lowes. Just the other day, I was shopping for a drill and a few other items. I needed help in figuring out the differences between several drills. A store representative, Ned, came up to me to help. He went out of his way to explain and show the differences from both technical and functional needs. Ned also helped me find a specific lock, specific screws, and a few other items. Ned helped me to get in and out efficiently as well as buy exactly what I needed with ease and confidence.This is a 5-Star Lowes Store!
Needs tile area organized. Had to search for matching mesh mounted backsplash tile in 4 different stacks. Yes it was me who left all the tiles on the floor I had to remove from the mixed piles to find the ones I needed. Hopefully they got the hint needing to pick them up. Of the 60 you supposedly had in stock I only found 17.
Worst nightmare. You want appliances? Don’t buy them here. Received broken and wrong. Horrible follow up Impossible for them to get installers to follow through. Had to chase them down to receive refund for returning defective washer and dryer and wrong dishwasher. The worst. Would give 0 stars , but you can’t.
Went in with my 2 yr old son. Was planning to shop for some lattice and lumber but not planning to buy since it would be quite a task to load with a toddler. David, a sales associate in training, saw me looking and offered to load everything into a cart and also into my truck! I don’t write many reviews but was blow away by how helpful he was! Excellence service.
Needed to replace the shower door and they charged $35 just to come and measured the door and told me they will come in 2 to 3 days for that but no one came and i kept calling and after 2 weeks someone came and measured the door and left and told me that will be contacted within 2 to 3 days and now it is almost 2 weeks and I am keep calling Lowe and they keeps me giving different answers on different time, it is almost 4 weeks and I am waiting for my door to be get replaced and i do not know how long it will take because these people at Lowes have no idea about it.... Very bad customer services and no idea what they are doing.... They need to work on this and give timely services...
I bought a dishwasher on September 2, and the earliest date for the installation was 10 after the purchase. I was still ok because this is the first time I was buying a dishwasher and thought it was normal. Then on September 9, installer goes to store to pick up my dishwasher and cant find the machine. So that big machine just disappears. I called the store and they said they dont know what happened. Vice manager got involved and finally in my final call he said he resolved it and he would try to expedite the installation process since we have been waiting for ten days already. However, the installation company gave a date which is more than 2 weeks away from this talk. I called the store several times. Everytime another person picks up and I remind them the story. Every time they were supposed to call me back and but most of the times I had to call again. Still they have not been helpful as Im still trying to manage my life with a broken dishwasher. Btw the installation company told us they can only drive here once a month. In sum, this Bloomfield Lowes store is a a disastrous experience for me.i recommend anyone to purchase cautiously if you really have to do business with the . Ill never visit this store again .
Bad costumer service. Im going to home Depot for now on. Better prices and the service members take you right to where and object is, if you are to ask someone the location of a object or item. Lowes people just point and barely explain where it is. I was treated like I didnt matter. And this happened the last three times, not just once. I wish there was a no star selection on this rating.
As for comparison to other Lowes, this one is OK. Regardless if its busy or if its slow they tend to have barely enough cashiers. Its unclear why since they sit on a good-sized plot of land at this Lowes is smaller than most. I would shop at this one for convenience. There is a competitor not even half a mile away. And another Lowes 5 miles to the South.
Showed up to make an exchange, upon trying to find the teo types of screws I needed, there were none on the floor of the first type. A young man (cant remember his name) helped me look for them the other ones. Unfortunately they were out of stock. However, when I went to Customer Service to make my other exchange, the woman working was very nice and helpful.
Second time weve gone to Lowes using online ordering with store pickup, and after getting the your order is ready email confirmation get to Lowes and the order was NOT actually ready for pick up. And had to wait again. Why bother ordering online if we still have to get our own items when we get there anyway?.....
Major bummer the last few times Ive been in - lots of negative things to report but basically, most of the staff were not helpful or were not allowed to be helpful because of liability, most of them just obviously didnt care - I returned a bunch of fencing that I had delivered that was very damaged during shipping, and then they restocked it for somebody else to buy! - nobody offered to help me load all of this fencing that I had to exchange - they wouldnt give me the coupon price because I came to the store to pay instead of paying online so it cost me an extra $60, unless Id like to wait in line to return it, order it online, and then go down to the pro-desk to pick it up again - 4 crappy experiences in a row and a lot of money wasted between the delivery cost and lost discount, I will be heading to Home Depot next time. And my fence is still not complete because their inventory count is wrong, so they dont actually have the pieces in stock that they thought.
We are in the process of trying to get a warranty replacement of vinyl flooring that we had installed 14 years ago which has a 15 year warranty. The sales woman, Star, in the flooring department as been super helpful and friendly. She has handled all the paperwork for us!
Very disappointed in the way that this store handles orders and deliveries. Weve used this store a number of times for both online and in-person orders and each order typically has delays or is incomplete in some way.When we ordered a dryer for delivery and installation, the dryer was delivered 3 days late and was dropped off without being installed because we didnt order an installation. A separate appointment had to be set up for installation, and even then they didnt have the complete kit for the set up. We ended up having to finish installation ourselves. When we ordered a space heater, the website mentioned that had arrived at the store, but when we arrived to pick it up we were told that it wouldnt be there for another five days.Im not sure what the logistical issues are here, but if youre going to shop at this store, only buy what you can pick up that same day.
Normally a Lowes location is generally welcoming, but for the first time i witnessed a forklift driver loading bunks of drywall in a very dangerous and careless manner. OSHA would have shut the place down. The space had not been safely secured...customers well within the safety zone..driver was actually hitting parts of the staging...made me nervous and I think associates were nervous as well. Time was Veterans Day around noon.
Three weeks trying to get a bathroom vanity installed. Cost me two days off work because the contractor and Lowes could not get my appointment time right, then Lowes did not send out the right sink fittings. To save me another day off work, the contractor came out on a Saturday only to find out the vanity did not fit the dimensions he says he gave to Lowes. Job is still not done. I now have to go back to Lowes to pick out another vanity, and I guess take more time off work. Nobody at Lowes give a damn either.
Horrible experience. Ordered a gas dryer. After waiting two weeks for it to come in, it came in and they sold it to someone else. When I called to check on order, they noticed their error and had to reorder. Now I have waited an additional week and it was supposed to be delivered this morning and I am still waiting. Never again
Purchased a washing machine. Sales lady was knowledgeable and helpful.Washing machine delivery: gentleman delivering washing machine were in a hurry to get off work 3 hours early, so arrived 1-2 hours before delivery window given. Reckless, they removed the door to the laundry room and were flipping it around quickly (cartwheel-ish). Put a very large gash in the wall he noticed, then pretended not to. Once brought to their attention told me manager would call me. No assistance was offered.3 months later the washing machine is not working. Go to Home Depot.
Appliance Department associate, Taylor, was extremely helpful during our search for a new washer. The washer we were interested in was not in store, however, Taylor went above and beyond to further assist us. Shes very professional, polite, and really eased our frustrations.
This particular store has issues. There must be a lot of theft at this store. If you buy ANYTHING their staff will embarrass you by making a scene to check your receipt! I am a white female & this happens to me about EVERYTIME I have been there. I only go to this store when I have to! All other locations NO problem! They need a better way of monitoring for theft. Also they have a bad habit of letting one customer to buy entire amount of shelf items instead of making a special order for them...NOTHING left on the shelf for other customers...I AVOID this particular Lowes store like the plague! All other Lowes stores LIKE Commerce & Westland are EXCELLENT! ALWAYS have stock & treat customers with respect & dignity.
Typical big box store attitude. Went in to buy multiple items and nothing in stock. Attempted to get lumber out of large pile and could not find any in decent shape customer service attitude was very unprofessional. This is why I left Home Depot, get it together people!
I went into the Lowe’s in Bloomfield Township MI today 7/7/2018. I was in the plumbing section and needed assistance. A person came from another isle jumped on the computer in the area I was in and offered no assistance? I asked for help and he walked away. Another customer also asked him for help with the same response? I continued to look for what I needed and went from isle to isle to find what I needed. The reason they get any stars is a very nice gentleman from another department asked if he could help me!! Couldn’t believe it. He didn’t know anything about what i needed but was nice. Wait for Menards to open up next door. You guys may as well close now. They will kill y’all.
I purchased a refrigerator from here, and when the delivery guy brought the refrigerator to my house he first arrived an hour an half late, then he tells me that my new refrigerator would not fit through my door. He measured my doorway and said it was 29 inches. I told him that he would have to take the doors off to bring it in. He told me no. He then asked to see if it would fit through my front door, and it would. But he said I aint got time to wait on you to move your couch of table. He was extremely rude and nasty yo me, he then told me I would have to go back to Lowes and purchase another refrigerator. I rushed back over to Lowes after he left pot look for another refrigerator. I then asked the sales person to look up the refrigerator I had just purchased and give me the measurements he to.d me that it measured at 28.5 inches. All the delivery guy had to do was remove the doors. I have been without a refrigerator for almost 2weeks. The service I received tonight from Lowes delivery guy was totally unacceptable.
Marc knows every piece of hardware in the hardware department and is quick to offer help and solutions. Hes a genius when it comes to locks. After taking 2 locks back to different stores, after their attempts to re-key the locks failed. Mark re-keyed them in no time. They work perfectly! 2 thumbs up for Mark!
I did come across a man (employee) that was very helpful and nice but if I hadnt seen him I wouldve had to wander for quite a bit. I also do not like that I have to go in one door and out another. I have a bad knee and the extra walking, along with the vast inside, is painful. But some things I cant find elsewhere.
Generally, impossible to find a sales associate.Went in today to order some doors. No one in doors, go over to bath. No one. Flooring. Nope.Not that they were helping other customers, they just weren’t there. I don’t know how you sell items that require special ordering if you have no one one the floor.Gave it two stars because if you need a widget, they generally have it.
Bought blinds from lowes bloomfield hills what a mess. Took hours of my time to get the blinds ordered, took multiple calls to get a returned call, no communication what so ever, blinds finally show up missing 1 window and 1 blind ordered wrong. No follow up again from lowes on the wrong order so I call and Lowes manager Jade, tells me its my problem and i have to pay for the missing blind and the blind that was ordered wrong. After 15 minutes of me telling her this is wrong and you cannot charge a customer for this she agreed to eat 1 of 2 parts. I will never step foot in this lowes again, if i was a manager at this location i would make sure CUSTOMER service classes where taken. If lowes screwed up lowes should fix them problem, instead they are trained to jam people. Jade quoted we still have to make money too. Ridiculous!!!
Workers are SUPER slow. Took me 20 minutes to return an item with only 3 people in front of me. Took around 20-25 minutes to try to track someone down to check inventory as stuff was misplaced on the shelf. Well this never happened and I walked out and drove to white lake to get what I needed.
Every time I come here I find the most unhelpful staff. They dont know where anything in the store is. I went looking to buy a $1000 grill when I asked what the difference was between two grills and he told me this one is stainless and this one is brown. I then revised my question about the cooking surface I thought maybe he didnt understand the question and he referred me to go online and look it up. Less than one star. Ithe is like this with everything drills and it happened once with a special type of bulb website said they had lots and guy wouldnt help me find he made me go online and order from there Store. I am done with this place

He got across the store, the tub I wanted was not in stock and he called the White Lake to try to find one for me & placed it on hold for me!He went ABOVE & BEYOND to meet the customers needs 👍
Asked a man a question and he decided to try to humiliate me instead, just to come back later and apologize for his incorrect assumption. Had no help at all from this store and would never recommend coming here unless you know for sure that they carry the part you need and that you know exactly where it is. Will avoid at all costs coming here again.
The Bloomfield location the young guy went and got an older guy to help me and I got the things I need it for my handyman not like Lowes in Southfield who sold me the wrong items which I now have to bring back this happens all the time at the Southfield store and Im sick of it I needed a new light bulb for my front porch the girl Sharon said Lowes didnt carry that light bulb anymore I sold me a new light fixture and my handyman said he would have to cut a hole in my house to install this fixture and he wasnt going to do that and I said no Im not going to agree to that when we went to take the front porch light fixture back an older guy their helped us and went and got the light bulb that we needed with the two prongs sticking out from it
The Lowes in White Lake has more knowledgeable staff. I went there first looking for a shower door. They gave me correct information. I shopped around at several other stores and did not find what I was looking for. Since I was closer to the Bloomfield Hills store, I went there to buy the door I had discussed with the White Lake store. The Bloomfield Hills store gave me totally different information (on measuring, installation, what would and wouldnt work in my bathroom). Not knowing which one was correct, I purchased from the Bloomfield Hills store. They were totally wrong, resulting in a two month delay and, in the end, the shower door that I wanted not even being able to work in my bathroom; which is exactly what I was told at the White Lake store. After waiting for two months, I still do not have a shower door and am left with a bad opinion of the Bloomfield Hills Lowes. From now on, I will shop in White Lake.
We got new cabinets through this Lowes, supposedly a 1 day job seeing that we have a tiny kitchen...Now over 1 month into this project, we know we will NEVER do any xontract work through LOWES again. From the top down, the lack of communication has been horrible! The first ones we got were put on the wall and completly fell apart under their own weight. (They arent the most expensive cabinets, but DAMN!?) Sent all of them back and it took 3 1/2 weeks to get all of them. Im calling lowes and the delivery company expecting a delivery and our cabinets are sitting at someones desk...Josh, the guy in interior, is nice..but it would seem like he doesnt talk to anyone else. A lot of things we talked about in our initial meetings, the contractors have no idea about.In short: WAY TOO MANY PEOPLE --->LOWES, JOSH, CONTRACTOR, SUB-CONTRACTOR and NOBODY IS COMMINOCATING!!!!!!!!Never again, YOUVE BEEN WARNED. .
Most of the staff are incredibly rude, confused & lack experience. One very Rude, older African American Cashier that hates kids. Every Hire-Up in that store is a manager, or act like one. They are completely USELESS anyways. Filing a complaint with one of them, its like your filing the complaint with the person youre complaining against. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, EVEN IF YOUR LIFE DEPENDED ON IT !!
I thought you should know that the order to enforce the wearing of mask is not being enforced at least out by me and Bloomfield Township was just at lowes and a bunch of the managers were doing their daily walk through and they had said that they will not enforce the mask order that its more of a suggestion than a law
These people werent the nicest to me the last time I was here they were following me throughout the store and was very optionative on where I was going when I just walked into the store, and because of the fact I went to the wrong door to enter and they blocked me and told me to go around and couldnt enter through the exit door but I figure they all opened when you went close by it and my item was right there but the lady told me I had to go on the other side of the store which made me kind of upset so I dont think the customer service wasnt all that good least with me they were very judgementive
Experience the mix-up between me and your cashier but your manager wouldnt own up call me a liar said that she had me on tape of 3 filters I clearly only had one would not show me tape was very rude manager compensated me with store credit but I still was told that I am a liar I dont like to be called a liar you better clear this up now!!!!!!

2022-05-10Very rude customer service. I waited in line a long time and then when I got to the register realized I didnt have my wallet. It took me less than 30 seconds to walk to my car and back( I was literally parked as close as one could to the garden center)but the lady couldnt wait even though she acknowledged acknowledged me and made me think that she would wait. There had been no one in line behind me I was the last person and then she just walked away. Also Many of the plants were in poor condition it was clear they were not being watered. I never got to make my purchase there was no one to ring me up after she walked away. So I left about $200 worth of merchandise Just sitting in the basket. I think Ive had similar issues with getting service the past few times Ive been here I have to remember not to shop here anymore.

2022-06-17Online order pick up was a nightmare. Julie was the only help, doing way too much on her own. Otherwise had to find and load some of the pre ordered items and soak up a lot of wasted time. Still other items were also lost in shipping so a return trip was required.

2022-05-28Bought a fridge and was told theyd hook-up the water line. Fridge arrives and they cant touch copper lines. I wasnt asked about my lines or told that before purchasing the fridge. Very unhappy with my service on both ends. But the fridge is nice. Now I just need my water line hooked up

Purchased a stove last week...delivered Saturday this week...they didnt come with the right a Equipment..my wife had to go an purchase the right equipment..bought it the same day it was delivered. They were supposed to be here on Monday to hook up thestove...NOTHING..rescheduled for today..Wednesday ...NOTHING..NOW they tell me Friday or Saturday .BAD SERVICE ALL THE WAY AROUND!! 2022-02-01I really like this store for their plant selection. This particular season it seems like even greenhouses have limited perennials to purchase. Not Lowes, I went to the one on telegraph and they had a beautiful selection. I will be back again.
