Lowes Home Improvement in other cities:
Want to replace 5 exterior doors at my house. Took a bit to get the guy out to measure. Then just tells me Menards has better prices. I went into the store to pick out doors and the elderly guy didnt want to get up and help me. Then proceeded to tell me the doors we wanted were much more expensive here at Lowes. Is this company going to survive!
Always been a great experience shopping at this Lowes store. Recently, The associate in the doors hardware section was very helpful in providing us valuable insights while choosing a storm door which was the best experience for us. We never had an issue with the whole process
Clean store, great customer service from everyone. I wish I could remember his name, but I asked an employee for something and he took me right to it. When I remembered I needed more things, he went and grabbed a basket for me.Never have I been in Lowes and not offered help.
I bought a dishwasher from Lowes. We had it installed. It advertises as drying the dishes. It does not. DO NOT SHOP LOWES Last night I spent 1/2 hour waiting for a clerk to get the price of a screen door. A man at the counter was watching a video and never asked to help me. I went back today and the same thing. I stood there for a long time then a clerk asked if she could help me. I told her I needed a price on a screen door. She said it has to have a code on the door so she can check the price. There was none so she asked me if I wanted to make an appointment to see someone for a price check. I am standing there with the money, the door is hanging on the wall, a service clerk ignoring me. Dont waste your time. If they can not run the store close the doors. Dont treat customers like that. Very poor service. .
Absolutely HORRIBLE experienceWe purchased Cali Bamboo flooring in May 2020. Due to Covid, we expected delays. What we did not expect was to have a floor that is lifting not even a year later. When the installation crew arrived in July 2020, they tore out our existing carpet and discovered our floor needed to be leveled. They asked me what to do. From this moment, I knew we had incompentent laborers. The person working on our kitchen leveled the floor. However, once the floor was leveled, it was determined that the wrong flooring (nail down v. floating) had been ordered. Due to some mix ups, we ended up ordering 3 times. Im not sure who made the mistake, but as a non-handy person, I trusted that Lowes would be able to determine the type of flooring needed.Due to the first crews incompetence, I asked Installation Services to send a different crew out when the correct flooring arrived in September. I agreed to wait even an extra week. Much to my dismay, the SAME crew arrived. I took some deep breaths and hoped for the best.Upon completion of the project, the first thing I noticed were the large nail heads and poorly cut corners on the trim. To spend nearly $10k on a floor and have a sloppy finish is counter to the look I was hoping to achieve. I asked if there was anything to do, and I was told that Installation Services would be back out to put putty on the nail heads. Then, sometime in February, THE FLOOR BOARDS BEGAN TO LIFT. I looked more closely and noticed larger gaps causing a shift if the floor. Istallation services came back out to look and suggested a transition piece. This is not acceptable because a transition piece is a tripping hazard in a highly trafficked area.I have been in contact with Tim at Installation Services as well as the assistant store manager, Brian King. Despite requests to fix a poorly installed store, nothing has been done. I really believe that they are ignoring the situation hoping it (I) goes away.Bottom line: if you want a professionaly installed floor, DO NOT USE LOWES. The installation and customer service is subpar and unacceptable.
Had a very positive experience here again buying a washer and dryer on short notice. Mike, (the manager) and Hana (who was new but very knowledgeable) were extremely helpful and pleasant showing us options available. In addition they arranged a quick delivery in these trying times. I recommend both without reservation.
Do not buy any big purchases here. They will take your money and not finish a job. We have tried with a roof and now windows. We were told that the windows would be in the house July 2020 and they are still giving us excuses as to why they cant help us Feb 2021. They are having no problems sending the bill though. What they did install is refurbished and peeling and cracking already. Save yourself time and money and go somewhere else.
Rocky start. Service desk was a little frustrating but she ended up being great. Just tired from all the after Christmas stuff. We went in to exchange a broken tool and purchase my new tool cabinet for my craft room. I researched them prior to going in and even after comparing them in person, the kobalt beat the rest quality wise AND was the best price. They did not have one on the floor though so he did go and get one brought out and in packages for me. It had a small scratch so I did get a small discount. They helped us load it...3 workers actually. We would never have been able to do it alone! Brea at the service desk ended up helping us order a tool set too that came in much quicker than we thought it would. Definitely satisfied with the service!
One of the worst experiences we’ve ever had to deal with . They have scheduled a delivery multiple times and then never show up, when you call they say the delivery is the next day even though they’ve confirmed everything! They’re not helpful at all never dealing with them again
6-15-22. I had the pleasure of dealing with Ken in plumbing and Steven in fasteners and Jennifer in garage doors. You were all very helpful!! Thanks to all of you!!2-28-22. I needed back splash for the new vanity top. Ken hooked me up with some really nice peel and stick back splash. Thanks Ken!!10-9-21. 10 stars to Ken in plumbing!! I had a BIG problem with a sink. Ken came to the rescue again!! He hooked me up with a really nice vanity top. Thanks Ken!!10-8 21. I was in the plumbing department today. I sure missed Ken!! Tom Was rude and not as knowledgeable as Ken.8-14-21 GLAD to see Ken back in plumbing!! As usual he knew just what I needed!! Thanks Again Ken!!!!Ken in plumbing is VERY knowledgeable and VERY helpful and VERY courteous!! Lori at self checkout is also VERY helpful!! A BIG thanks to all of you!!!
We went to Rochester Hills MI Lowes last weekend to purchase quite a few vertical blinds. Mary who works in Home Decor was heading for her lunch break but stopped to give us all the details and help we needed very patiently and knowledgeably. She really is an asset to the store. It is nice to run into a conscientious worker who cares. Thank you, Mary! We love the blinds.
My husband and I have been Home Depot people for so long, but lately we hate going there because the staff is unhelpful and super unfriendly and it hasn’t been a pleasant experience. So we figured we would start going to Lowe’s. And right off the bat we were so happy with this decision, every single employee we passed, they were friendly and so helpful!! But the best part was Andy! Andy was so great! He helped us find what we were looking for and even though it was a large roll of carpet padding stashed away up high in the back room, he got it for us! He went above and beyond for us and that kind of customer service is rear these days and we appreciate you, Andy! Thank you!!! We are Lowe’s people now!
Manager decided to check out the person in front of me because the person ahead of them was taking forever at the register. After finishing with the customer ahead of me, the manager skipped me for no reason and checked out two customers behind me. Apparently every other customers time is more valuable than mine.
I give Lowes 5 stars because unlike Home Depot they still respect and appreciate our veterans. My stepfather had to get some tools and I started heading to Home Depot he said no go to Lowes I get 10% discount there for being a veteran. I said dont they do that at Home Depot to? He said no not anymore. That was good enough for me. So for now on unless I absolutely have to go to Home Depot because Lowes doesnt carry an item, I go to Lowes. Support our veterans!
A few years ago, they introduced buy online and pick up in store. Many places we’re starting to do this at the time. Lowe’s completely failed at it. I won’t go into the issues I experienced multiple times back then, other than to say that I stopped shopping at Lowe’s completely.Fast forward to now. We’re in the middle of a pandemic and many places have perfected their store pickup or curbside service at this point. We’ll, not Lowe’s.There was something I needed that Lowe’s had, but Home Depot did not. I pulled up after receiving the “order ready” email. I checked in using the app. I don’t waited about 10 minutes with no response. I then called the number posted on the sign (the alternative way to check in) and nobody answered. Waited 5 more minutes, then I went into the store. The store was deserted. There was a handful of employees up at the front desk. Someone was assisting a customer with a return. I went to the store pickup resister and stood there for a minute, assuming the nearby staff member would come over. Nobody came. I then announced that I was here to pick up my order. Someone came over and said “can I help you?” I reviewed the steps I took leading up to now with the employee. He then said, “oh, the store pickup person is on break”. So I guess when the store pickup person goes on break, store pickup is closed. 🤷🏼♂️
Bought a washing machine and they told me that delivery would be on a certain day. Set aside time for that day for it to be delivered. Never got it that day. Waited a week with no call as to why it wasnt delivered. Called them and they said it would be delivered tomorrow after waiting a week after initial delivery day. Tracked order for delivery and never came on the second attempt to deliver it. They called me and said it cant be delivered due to issues with the driver delivering it. Now on third attempt to have this thing delivered. It was delivered to me at 10:30pm on a Thursday. Was not happy about it being sent to me that late and after the delivery being changed three times.
Although it didnt happen in the Rochester Hills store... May need to do a little push to get them to believe the online app for inventory when a small item shows 12 in stock but none on the shelves, chances are someone didnt stock it yet.Shouldnt have to go thru 3 associates not checking & the customer figuring out items are shipped in a dozen box.
Had problems getting an appliance delivered. Went into store some guy with a bandanna over his face was taking a credit application from a woman. There were 4 people behind me and this jerk is taking a credit app! She was denied and he kept trying to work around it! Finally I was next he was NO help whatsoever and shipped me over to customer service. They couldnt locate a manager and I mentioned about the clerk taking a credit app. and was told that was a no no. Went to Madison heights store, they refunded my order and re ordered it! They also told me they get lots of complaints from the Rochester Hills store appliance dept!
Returning an old water heater which was under warranty.People in Lowes have idea what to do. Customer service all the the up to manager at night time. I wrote an email to head office still waiting for some to contact me back except the auto reply. Lowes on his way out be careful to shop there. Home depot on the other hand not just awesome has a great Customer service.Good luck and think twice before walk into Lowes. Thanks for reading.
Nobody knew where to find what I was looking for. Had to call my brother to find out what isle it was on. Then a friendly guy went and got it for me. I walked from one end to the other people sending me on a wild goose chase. Then I asked the cashier about garden bags. They didnt know where they were either. Found them on my own. When I got outside a very nice guy saw my struggle and helped me to my car. I was greatly disappointed since I am a senior walking with a cane and yet they didnt help me just sent me all over the store.
40 minutes waiting in my car for curbside pickup today! No one else was using the service so I called. The lady picked up and the guy that was doing curbside pickup was busy on the floor. She said wait I’ll bring it right out. 15 minutes later I called back, same lady who acted like someone else. Needless to say I didn’t get my stuff yet. This store is constantly under staffed, I guess those large profits they have made during the fake pandemic won’t allow them to pay people to be there.Big Corp so this review won’t matter, sickening
In 2019 we bought three rooms of carpeting from them. Among the worst buying experiences ever, from the salesman to arranging the installation. Anyway we got through it . fast forward to several weeks ago, when we noticed some rippling in all three rooms. We called the store for the name of a company to re-stretch the carpet. After several tries and no returned phone calls, we finally got through to the carpet department (same salesman-just our luck). When I told him of our problem he basically said after one year, your on your own. He wouldnt even offer the name of a company to do the work. We didnt expect it to be FREE, we just needed the name of a company. Never going to happen. So, if you have Lowes sell you carpet and do the installation , good luck after the first year if you need any kind of assistance. They flat out dont provide any. Never heard anything like it.
TerribleVery rude.Picked date and time for delivery on refrigerator. Store confirmed the same time as online that I picked.JB hunt changed it.Store no help and rude about purchasing it on - line, though on line gives you a time frame that I picked and store stated the same !JB hunt no help either- told me they pick the time no matter what you pick.Do not ask Kim in appliances for help at Rochester store. She was very rude and demeaning. Will take my business elsewhere.
I had a very pleasant experience shopping at this particular store! Adam Bentel Tools&Hardware manager assisted me with my purchase in the kitchen &bath department right at the closing time, not only was he patient, curteos and professional but ,suggested that maybe I should measure the space before making the decision to purchase. Needless to say I should have listened to him! But even though I will have to return the item, I will continue to make my home improvement purchases at this particular store!Big thanks to Adam, because of him I will recommend the store to anyone looking for expert and professional advice!
We found what we went there for. One of the employees went above and beyond to help us. She was fantastic. I think her name was Kristine (sp?). She even made a special trip up to the register to make sure the cashier was treating us ok, which was good, since the cashier was being a little difficult. They also sent someone out to help load our item into our car for us. Great experience. Thank you!
Staff was super friendly and helpful. I wish i knew the guys name in the paint department he was AWESOME! He went above and beyond the norm. Thank you so much for you help. You also made my daughters day :) she wants to work in the paint department when shes old enough!
My 26yr old fridge decided its time for retirement. After hours of online search and failed to find a replacement, we went to the Lowes on Rochester road. Surprisingly theres plenty of people like us searching for appliances on a Friday evening. It took us more than an hour because theres more customers than service staffs. But happy we found what we were looking for. Good service.
Lowes should audit the management of this location. Primarily - associates were unwilling to scan the coupon emailed to me by Lowe’s (from the correct domain and linking to a server with valid https certificate). Customer service desk were less helpful than the cashiers. Not great that Lowe’s will send out “Redeemable in-store” promotions that cannot be honored. It worked online, so I will curbside pickup my order. Aside from that, half of my items were not in a matching isle and bay# as listed on the site.
KAT is the front cashier supervisor and is extremely rude and unhelpful towards veterans. Tried getting a veterans discount for my father but she wanted to bring him into the store when I called him and showed her a text of what he wanted from the store. She would rather bring in a sick old man to the store vs giving .50 cents back with a military discount.Way to show your appreciation to military veterans and their familys. Not going back to Lowes.
We met Sam in appliances. Despite the fact she was new to the department, she made sure all questions and concerns were addressed and made the purchase of the washing machine and dryer seamless and quick.Start to finish, we were out the door in 20 minutes with delivery date secured.Thank you very much for the excellent service. It is rare to come by that these days in larger, non locally owned establishments.
Went in here about a month ago to purchase a hot water heater. The man working in the plumbing department was very helpful finding what I needed. As any man would I made my way over to hardware and tools to take a gander a the merchandise and met the woman Kim d working at the counter. Didn’t think much of it at the time she just asked if I needed help finding anything and I explained I just bought a water heater and wanted to browse around tools. Went back in there yesterday and Kim was working again and she came right up to me and asked how the install of my heater went! Hard to find employees at such a big name store that genuinely care about their customers (I didn’t even buy anything from her department). Just something as simple as that makes stores like that stand out. I’m sure I could go to any big box store in the area and get what I need but the customer care from the employees here is unmatched. I will definitely be making all my big purchases here in the future. Thank you Kim for making it a great experience!!!
Horrible employees, no one wants to help you. They have an attitude when you ask a simple question. At the self check out, the lady that works it must hate her job or herself because I don’t think I’ve ever met someone with a lack of manners like her. I tried calling the store three times and no one would transfer me. Home Depot would never treat you like this.
Been to this place couple of times. Very helpful staff through out the store. I have started to work on a wood project without any clue on what type of wood needed for my project or what type of stain needed. Once i entered this store and started asking questions the store manage helped me get in touch with appropriate persons and they all have been answering all my question patiently and helped me get all the stuff needed for my wood project. Definitely coming back to this place to shop again for my next projects.
Store was clean. Items organized. Did not appreciate the large gash in my right forearm when walking by the returns desk. Employee placed a cart with a large sharp piece of metal sticking out into the aisle. When I walked by my right forearm was cut wide open. And before you say pay attention...flat piece of grey metal, not where it is supposed to be, in a grey cart, hovering above a grey floor.
I was disappointed with an online pickup of batteries from Lowe’s of Rochester Rd. today. It was already bagged, and the bag handles were tied in a knot upon my arrival, so I trusted their staff had quality checked items. However, they did not because the batteries were old and leaked alkaline in its sealed packaging. I recommend the store manager to retrain their staff on quality. It is not worth the complaint, so do it right the first time. I will have to make another trip to return the batteries. I will be verifying pickup items for online purchases at this location moving forward.
Went into Lowe’s on Rochester Road this morning to eXchange a defective tool with the receipt. I waited patiently in the return line. A young gale with blue hair waited on me. She said, go look for the replacement product. I went and looked and Lowe’s was out of the product. I went back to the register and asked for a gift receipt since it was a gift and I did not want the credit on the receipt credit card. The young girl said let me finish this customer. I waited patiently and then she proceeded to call the next customer up. I said excuse me, I have been waiting in line, can you give me my credit on a gift card. She said no mam, you need to get back in line.I said no, I already waited in line.I asked to speak to the manager. She proceeded to call the next Customer up. I said give me my product and receipt and proceeded to the registers to ask for a manager. Ron the manager came up immediately, went to her register, got my credit and I left.I guess the blue haired lady does not understand customer service and taking the customers in order of when they come in. This again reminds me why I never shop at Lowe’s and always shop at Home Depot. Well, someone will be getting a Lowe’s gift card from me since I will not be back in that store.
The associates are very helpful for someone like me who sometimes has trouble figuring out what he needs at this great big box hardware store. Also people what Im looking around trying to figure out where the head come up and ask what are you looking for in in point the way. And I really appreciate that. The store was a little crowded today because everybody has on Labor Day doing projects and yet it all worked out well. I do wish they had more staffed checkouts instead of the self scans.
I was at customer service a couple days ago to buy a product and have it picked up in Texas. Pam and Carol where the two wonderful ladies that helped me. They are a tremendous asset to that store. They were determined to figure out how to do this. It took a while but Carol got it. She wouldn’t give up. I really appreciate all their help. They are great employees, we had some laughs while they were hard at work trying to figure this out. Thanks Carol and Pam I sure appreciate you. If employees like these I will be a loyal Lowes customer.
Frustrating visit today. Went in to pick up an online order. The order was not ready (after receiving an email that it was) and after waiting in line and for other people to come assist with what should have been a simple pick up, the Lowes employee cancled the order and told us to just buy the item and check out at a register- which also had long wait times.
This stores Covid-19 response is over the top. Im sad to see the fear of a virus turn employees against their customers. The gentleman in the door aisle was particularly fearful and treated us badly. I will only go to Lowes if there is no alternative. Hopefully things will change in the near future.
Have tried to deal with Lowes several times. Out of several instances never had accurate information given to me (saying a products was available when it wasnt or saying its not when it is), never good customer service (rude to me, acted like I should have known something when I dont work there), and the one time I bought an appliance (dishwasher) I wasnt offered assistance to put it in my car (mind you, Im 52 and 110 pounds, by myself). I choose Home Depot, I wont be coming to Lowes anymore.
I had a house key cut there. The person who cut my key neglected to honestly tell me how much Id be charged (almost $3) after I asked for the cheapest key and he told me they started at $2.39. But, when I went to the self-serve register and complained to the cashier about my key being rung up at $2.79, he was nice enough to reduce the price for me.
Lowes has good prices, the store is clean, well stocked, well lit, and aisles are labeled to help you find what youre looking for. Ive had questions for and met with folks regarding countertops and flooring and found the people in both departments to be friendly, knowledgeable about the products and helpful. There are not enough customer service people on the floor to help you find things and answer questions. You will have to hunt someone down. I asked an employee where something was in passing, and he told me Id find it in the paint department. I was talking to my mom on the phone and she heard me ask. She said she prefers shopping at a smaller store in her neighborhood because they dont point you in the general direction. She said they walk you right to the product youre looking for and put it in your hand. She said she would rather pay a little more for that type of service.
Very poor customer service, in appliances no one available when the person in charge takes lunch break. In back splash area 3 staff talking together no one acknowledged you. One of the staff with face mask steps too far back while talking with me I was wearing mask too. The installer when they come to your house doesnt wear masks when they are there for couple of days.Very bad experiences.
Horrible service. Purchased a refrigerator that came in damaged. Refused delivery. Spent hours on phone trying to resolve issues with customer service. Most of the time call was not answered. No one called back to provide updates either. Guess it was a mistake shopping at Lowe’s.
I just got a fence installed by this location and everything was absolutely amazing. The manager, Alan, was so helpful. Everyone who took part in making this happen was an absolute joy to work with. Their sub-contractor, Lila Fencing, was superb. If youre interested in getting a fence installed, Id go the extra mile and make sure mine is installed from this location. If I need anymore work done in the future, you best bet Ill be coming here.
I was standing in the light bulb aisle today 2/5/2020, the Rochester Hills Store, looking at all the different lighting selections. I must have looked confused because an employee named Andy approached me and asked if I needed help. Yes, I sure did. So many choices. He was very helpful, asked a few questions about what the application was, over the kitchen island I answered, he asked a few more questions and then continued to explain my choices. Color temperatures, watts....I settled on a 6 LED retrofit light. An attractive solution to my old can lights and easy to install!! Thanks Andy!
I am taking this time to praise Paul from Lowe’s Rochester he provided me with excellent customer service!! when I needed an obscure plumbing setup I showed him a picture and he helped me the whole way and got me set up perfectly couldn’t have finished the job without his amazing help
Karen, in the paint department, was extremely helpful! From matching colors to recommending supplies to sharing techniques, she took her time to give me the advice I needed. She stopped periodically to assist several other customers, but made sure I had everything I needed. I will be sure to return the next time I need home improvement supplies.
I want to start by thanking Skip for helping me with the cap to my tea kettle. He didnt have to but he dropped everything and fixed it for me on the spot.I really like this particular location. It is close to my house and I have had good experiences with that staff. It didnt matter when I visited the store, there were plenty of staff walking the floor. I never had any trouble locating someone for questions. Even when I got to the store right at 6 am, the staff looked alert, awake and ready to work.I am an amateur DYI person and the staff is never condescending to me.
The store is fine but it took forever to find someone that could help us. On top of that we asked if we could get the chairs they had on display, but the woman said they were sold out. We asked why they were still on display or if we could buy the displays, and she said that they couldn’t sell displays but that they were likely not going to get more of those chairs in (ever). It was a drag and she seemed annoyed with us the whole time. Maybe don’t advertise products you can’t sell to your customers
You should know why you go to Lowes. My only complain today is that they closed the self checkout early, left one cashier to ring everyone , there were seven people waiting. Comon man, were busy and dont want to waste time in line, you have four self scan that only one person can watch over . Lets see what should I do... Other than that I like the store, nice people working there good selection, decent pricing, not great.
Dont buy an entry door from this store! My experience was horrible. It took two different crews to measure my front door. When they finally got it right it took over a month to get the order correct because they have only one person who knows how to use their ordering system. Every time I went back to ask a question about the door I was looking at they had a different person and they acted like it was their first time using a computer. When the door finally came the installer noticed that it was damaged and had the store order a replacement. The door arrived at the store and the installer scheduled their next available time and the door was not delivered yet. I went into the store a week before the install only to be told that the installers would be bringing the door to my house. The installers showed up and asked where the door was and when I told them, they just shook their heads and said they would get me back on the schedule as quickly as possible. The door gets delivered, the installers come out and find that it is damaged - AGAIN and this time it is 3-inches too narrow. Now I decide to cancel the order but the pickup crew keeps missing their scheduled time to come and get the door.My biggest gripe is that I am an hourly contractor and every one of these incidents cost me 1.5 to 2 hours of pay because people never arrive at the start of the window that they say they will be there. After all of this I dont have a new front door to show for it.If youre buying stuff like lumber, light bulbs, etc youll probably be fine. But if youre buying something as important as a front door you should avoid this store like the plague.
The man in paint was unbelievably rude and terrible at his job. He even talked bad about another employee who works in paint who honestly does a better job than him at mixing and such. Do not come here for paint. The rest of the store seemed fine and has parts when we need them.
I had the worst experience at this store. I went in on a Monday (8/16) to purchase a washer and dryer. I scheduled the delivery for Thursday (8/19) of that same week (the sales person said I could have them delivered any time that week, including the next day Tuesday). On Wednesday evening I get a call confirming my Thursday delivery. He also said that I would get a call Thursday morning with a 2 hr window. Thursday morning comes and goes with no call from them, so I call around 12:30 p.m. to get a status (because Ive taken time off work to be home, rearranged my dogs eating area to make room for delivery, disconnected my current washer and dryer, etc). He says he isnt sure who was supposed to let me know, but my washer wasnt going to be available for another couple of days, and it would be at least a week on the dryer. I told him that was unacceptable and gave them two options: 1) deliver something equivalent or better (no preference on color), at no additional cost to me, by Friday or 2) refund my money and Ill take my business elsewhere. After talking with someone in appliances, he said my items should be delivered on Friday (8/20). So I get another call Thursday evening confirming my Friday deliveries, and I get a call on Friday morning with a delivery window of 5-7 p.m. Friday at 4:18 p.m., 42 minutes before my delivery window (Ive left work early to be home in time for the delivery again), I get a call from the store manager (Rob or Ron) saying that he regrets to inform me that my items hadnt been loaded on the truck and they would have to deliver sometime Saturday. Again, I said unacceptable since theyve already wasted two days and not yet delivered on their commitment. However, I was nice enough to give them two options again: 1) deliver something that day, equivalent or better, at no cost to me or 2) refund my money and Ill purchase elsewhere (and never shop there again). He did not offer any solution. All he could do was apply the money Id already paid toward an upgraded model (thats bs) or look into some sort of credit for my troubles. He also said that the sales person shouldnt have sold the items that werent available in store (how is that my problem when youre the store manager?). I said refund my money.I spent a significant chunk of change on the washer and dryer, and had also picked out a new stove, fridge, and microwave (in the process of remodeling my home) that Id planned to purchase from Lowes, but I will be taking my business elsewhere. I cannot believe the level of incompetence and lack of communication and customer service here. Everyone blamed everyone else for not letting me know that my stuff wasnt even available. Nobody worked to find a solution that would work for me (I was open to other washer and dryer models and colors if they were available), and people consistently pointed fingers at others instead of taking accountability. Please DO NOT bring your business here for anything. There is a Home Depot and Hawthorne Appliance a little further north on Rochester Rd (Home Depot is on Avon at Rochester). Id recommend not patronizing any Lowes stores.
I usually dont write negative reviews, but my experience was horribly ridiculous! I recently purchased a used refrigerator at Lowes, and we were told that they wouldnt sell a broken product, so the fridge would be fine. But as soon as we got the water line hooked in a week later, the ice machine did not work. Confused, I called Lowes, and they told me I could get it replaced or fixed. Although I just wanted to get it replaced, they talked me into getting it fixed. I set up an appointment, and the earliest they had was a week later. And finally, when the appointment time came up, nobody showed up. I called about this for 3 days, and the staff were completely rude and incooperative with my issue. And when I finally got in contact with them, they told me to make another appointment, which would be a week later. Its almost been a month since I purchased my product, so the day of my appointment would be the last day to return/exchange my product. And plus they wanted me to pay for my service fee. Does this make sense? They sold me a broken refrigerator!!
Worst customer service. Bought a brand new john deere and had a belt snap within 2-3 weeks of buying it. Husband attempted to call the store, they were beyond rude and said buy the part and replace it. I attempted to call, I was being transferred then was hung up on.. wish we had purchased and spent money elsewhere...
Updated April 5, 2021: 3 year review - Couldnt be more disappointed with the cabinets. Corner door joints are seperating and becoming visible. Not sure of our recourse at this point other than letting you all know to stay away from custom cabinets from Masterbrand. As always ZERO accountability by Lowes.---‐--------------We had the Rochester Hills store renovate our kitchen & to summarize:(a) Kitchen Designer experience - 4 stars - Sue was good to work with. She was very patient with our requests and incorporated most of our wants into the design.(b) Cabinet vendor experience - ZERO stars - their Masterbrand cabinet vendor is simply in the wrong business! Very poor Quality control. Project was started a year ago and after multiple unscheduled breaks due to bad material and workmanship, there are 3 overlays which still need to be installed.(c) Lowes Central Project Coordinators experience - ZERO stars - Im not even sure what these folks do. Useless and a waste of time.(d) All Pro Kitchen and Bath construction experience - 3 stars - Good workmanship. Matt knows what hes doing. However - absolutely poor back office operations. Impossible to get a hold of.Overall - My experience with this store has demonstrated very limited accountability and a drive to help the customer. They are either very short handed or in need of some Customer experience training.I hope that luck favors you in your projects with Lowes and that your experience is different than ours!!
They had the plywood and thats the only good thing on this visit. I walked thru hardware and electrical with not so much as a hello. Went to get 8 sheets of plywood and although I saw 2 employees walking around neither decided taking 2 minutes to help someone load 4x8 sheets worth their time.Went to check out where the cashier asked if I found everything ok, which I responded everything except help moving the plywood-i got silence until the end of the transaction to which he replied good luck with your project. It was raining so the store was not busy at all. You would figure with Home depot being just a couple miles away customer service might set them apart, not so much.
I would rate lower if I could. I purchased carpet in early June for our nursery. I had to call Lowes 13 times, speak with 5 different managers, 4 emails to customer service, and took 3 days off work each day for installation dates. Each time I had a scheduled date the installers were no show and no callback due to Lowes losing the carpet during pickup. I would wait at home all day and no response from the installers or Lowes on if they found the carpet or if they would be coming on my assigned date for installation. They lost the carpet multiple times on my order. I never got the carpet installed until mid October after our baby was born so we had to sleep in the basement as the carpet aired out. My corporate complaint was ignored. I was told I would receive a call back last week and as a theme with Lowes never received a call back to discuss how this was poorly handled after speaking with a corporate manager who said I would receive a call back. We will be looking elsewhere for my phase 2 of our home improvement projects. Lowes made this a very frustrating and very disappointed in their lack of customer support and lack of customer service.
Entire southern half of the store is empty, no customers and no staff. Ive now been waiting for 40 minutes and no one can tell me where to find a basic product. Manager made embarrassed efforts to reach someone by radio but no one has even the simplest knowledge of the lumber area. (Speaking of radio, thats even worse.) What a waste of time, Home Depot is about five miles up. Guess Im on my way.
Like any store there are some specials and pricing that make purchases more appealing. Having products in stock, a decent variety and helpful staff are also things they do well. Locations are conveniently at places easy to find, good road access and placement that makes one relatively close by. Big outdoor garden section has spring veggies and flowers out already...bulbs, berry bushes, etc. Home Depots biggest competitor.
I needed some extra help in their plumbing department and Tom went ABOVE and BEYOND his job description to go the extra mile for me. I am super thankful and owe him one. Everyone else I spoke to in addition to Tom was super nice and helpful as well. Highly recommend this location!
I would rate lower if I could. I purchased a stove on November 10. At this time we had a delivery date of the middle of December. The day before our stove was supposed to be delivered I call customer service and they stated we would have to wait until 10 pm and if we did not hear from someone to call back. We did not receive a call by 10 am so once again I called customer service only to find out the stove was on back order and the earliest it could be there is by the 2nd. We asked for a refund. I called customer service the manager stated we would have compensation if we ordered the stove. We ordered the stove only to once again have someone call to confirm the appointment and then be told by a supervisor the stove would not be in until later in the week. After speaking to 5 different managers we were frustrated and we finally asked to have the stove refunded. I called one more time and spoke to another supervisor at corporate and she was rude and said that there is nothing they can do for us since we bought another stove and refunded the one we had ordered.
I recently purchased a house so Ive spent a lot of time at Lowes and Home Depot. Lowes is by far MUCH better. The staff members are present and know when everything is unlike at Home Depot. It is also clean and well organized. Im currently sitting in the bathroom...yep clean. The prices are also pretty good. And if you sign up for email alerts you get $10 off a purchase of $50 or more...Home Depot only gives you $5 off.
Always good at Lowes. I really like that Lowes keeps their stores clean and organized. Ive been looking for a product called either Air Shim or Air Wedge, its a cool little durable flat bag. That you can slip under a door or cabinetry and then you used a hollow pump ball to inflate the bag, which lifts the door, or cabinet to the proper height. You can set the hinges or secure the cabinet. It works like a blood pressure cuff.... but lifts an item. (About 1 inch) perfect for hanging doors. Yes. I found it at Lowes.
Place was empty. Ron was helpfull in the store. When it was time to check out the cashier called for assistance to load our 8 foot patio door. We waited over 20 minutes.I continued to ask the cashier if help was coming. Again, no other customers around. She was also very pleasant and popped her head outside and saw Jose. She called him over, while telling us he was their loader. Jose came over and was a miserable person. My husband (who is a naturally positive person) said hi and thanked him for his help. Jose just growled and started pulling on the door. The door started to fall over ( it is VERY heavy and definitely NOT a one man job).My husband went to catch it and asked how did Jose want to load it, and what would Jose like my husband to do to help.Jose didnt say anything and just kept on trying to move the door. I went in for help.Another worker came out, (a very polite man) and thankfully slowed Jose down, and took control.Just as Jose, my husband and this man were getting it in the truck, Ron also came out to help.Pros: had product we wanted at fair price.Con: Communication lacking- had to wait 25+ minutes for assistance to load vehicle. Hot building, and with no other customers around.Tip: Provide customer service training for Jose
This is a good store. As big box home improvement stores go, this Lowes is decent. Associates, to an extent, will ask if you need help and for the most part theyll know the location of what youre looking for. I particularly like Lowes because they have special veteran parking, which I appreciate. Their competitor just down the road is also awful in every way, another reason I shop here.
Wasnt very impressed with my latest experience. Needed 10 gal of paint and found online that they had stock for me. I drove over but the woman in the paint department couldnt find it. She wasnt very friendly and it seemed as if I was inconveniencing her. Maybe she was having a bad day. She took me over to the service desk and I ordered it and needed to pay for it on the spot. Will have to go back once they call me - hope it doesnt take more than a few days.
3 times now in the past 3 months Ive gone to Lowes of Chesterfield to get drywall, And I need a flat top cart because Im getting 20 to 30 sheets of drywall at a time. And there is not one flattop cart to be found anywhere. I was told they were in the outdoor area where the plants and stuff are so I walked across the entire store to go out there, I asked for one and they send me to the drywall section because theres none out there. I told them I just came from the drywall section and there were none there. I asked three other store employees and no one seemed to know where any flat top carts were... Really? Three times this has happened in the last 3 months. They just lost my business.
Why is it when you walk into one of their stores, the sense of customer appreciation is gone? Seriously, 5 people that work there in one area and not one can bother to ask if you need assistance. Although the guy on the computer with another customer claims he did. Im not impressed. This is not the first time its happened in this location. Sorry, seriously needs improvement
Terrible customer service. We have been trying to order an exterior door for almost two months. We paid to have someone come out and measure, which they did. No phone, as promised, afterwards. Had to go back to the store and spend two hours there while someone tried to find the measurements. Claimed they needed to get a quote because it was a special order size. Promised a call by Tuesday. Its Friday and still nothing. Would like our $35 for measuring refunded so we can go somewhere else.
Pushed the assistance button and waited for few minutes for door assistance and no one showed up. Asked a worker and he said there is no one there he thinks. Reallyyyyy?!! A store lile Lowes doesnt have a dedicated person working in that area. We had to leave unhappy really as we had to drag our kids around and go to Home Depot.
I do not like this Lowes compared to other Lowes. I cannot put my finger on why I dont care for it, but I always find myself at Home Depot shortly after coming here. I went to Lowes today looking for an 18v cordless reciprocating saw. They had an okay selection, but Milwaukee and Makita arent sold there. I ended up spending $300 at Home Depot instead. I do like their Kobalt hand tools at Lowes, but theyre just as good as the Husky Pro brand.
Great customer service experience here.We bought several appliances and two bathroom vanities with tops. Upon delivery from the store, we noticed that one of the bathroom vanity tops had damage (chipped corner). I called and asked for immediate delivery of a new one, since I had a handyman coming that day to install it.Andrea (customer service/delivery) and Mike (store manager) worked hard to make that happen. It wasnt easy, but Mike was able to get the new one on a truck THAT DAY and have it delivered by 3 PM. The moving guys even placed it on my second floor, since I had originally lined up neighbors to help me carry it upstairs. The moving guys were polite and efficient; Mike called me back within two hours to confirm that it would work out, and Andrea was friendly and accommodating. This is the kind of experience that gives me confidence to shop at Lowes again. Thank you, Andrea, Mike, and the delivery team!
We were there today 10/7/16 we wanted to purchase Trex Clam shell decking. It was in stock. My husband and I were struggling to get the 12ft lengths down we needed 17 of them. There were three (3) employees standing about 20 ft away talking and laughing in conversation with each other. I looked at them and asked if one of them could help us, they all looked at us like we were interrupting them. One did come over to help but he was not friendly at all towards us. When he finished I told him thank you very much, he didnt answer me just walked away. We go to Home Depot all the time and the employees there are always asking us if they can help But at Lowes NO ONE asked if they could help us. We spent over $600 there today we deserved better service
Went to Lowes for are dream kitchen and ended up with a nightmare! Please search “lowes horror stories” before purchasing any project from Lowes. The construction crew that they work with is terrible and once you buy the project it’s shipped over to a Central Production Center who is worthless and the store just tells you sorry can’t help you!We purchased a full kitchen remodel for over 20k thinking it was going to be great because we were working with a big we’ll know company like Lowes. The project should of took 2-3 months tops but instead took over 6mo. We had construction guy storm out of are house, show up and refuse to do work, cut corners, say they were coming to do work not to show up on several occasions. The tie work was so bad they had to come back 5 different times trying to fix it. To top it off when ever you talk to people they are not helpful, I had to keep escalating my problems through Lowes corporate structure and at each point no one resolve the issues. I even had to report them to the Better Business Bureau where I was transferred to an executive customer service team at Lowes headquarters who still could not even get the project finished in a timely manner. moral of the story is don’t buy any projects from Lowe’s go to a professional! If you do decide to purchase a project make sure you get everything in writing down to the last detail. Several times throughout the project they refused to complete work that we paid for and after reviewing the contract there were no specifics in it. Make sure you get an electrical diagram, one was not provided and they tried refusing to put in outlets where we had discussed in the walk-through.
This is the first and last time Ill go here. It took awhile to find someone who would help us. The lady we found was pretty friendly, but the guy she then directed us to was extremely rude. He was the wood cutter and immediately walked up to us with an attitude and saying what he couldnt do without even greeting us. The cashier who rang us up wasnt very friendly at all and clearly didnt like his job. If you dont like customer service, you shouldnt be working retail. Ive never had an issue at home depot. Never coming back.
I ordered a washer/dryer combo to be delivered. Within a week the driver called me saying he saw it was a stackable and wanted to make sure I didnt just order a washer, because thats all they had in the truck. I told him, to save the company time & money (because he said he was coming from Rochester), he could just go ahead and make another run & just drive the hour to my house when he has both. He said okay.A week and a half passed with no emails or calls about the delivery or order update. I just received a text that day asking how I was satisfied with my delivery. So, a week and a half later I called Lowes, and they said theyre sorry for the mishap & didnt even know what was going on & that theyd deliver both ASAP if I wanted to reorder. I said fine. Got a call back later that day, saying well, its going to take another week and a half from another store, because youre an hour away from us and wed have to charge you more delivery fees since youre so far away. They didnt know I knew that initially delivery came from that store, anyways! So, then the customer service agent, Ashley, backtracked and said that UPON delivery I wouldve been told about the extra costs. HAHAHA> YEAH!? Really? So if I told the delivery guy who called me to just go ahead and drop my washer off without the dryer, he wouldve showed up at my doorstep demanding $30 more before he took it out the truck???? GTFO of here. Weird people. Liars. And even more, just insulting to a persons intelligence like Id buy that. She just said shes reiterating what her manager said, so a big middle finger to the manager, if thats even the case. I told them thank you for your time, thanks for screwing up my order, and Ill take my business to Home Depot. I was expecting them to say theyd give me a $30 Lowes gift card for the order mishap.....yet was told Id be charged $30 more in fees for THEIR mishap. Real bad business. You guys suck.
If I could give less than a 1 star, I would. We went into the one on Rochester Rd. In Rochester Hills a couple of weeks ago. We were looking for new garage door, front doors, and patio doors. After looking at all the doors, we looked around for somebody to help us. Saw a staff member walking down an aisle a couple aisles over, and asked if anybody was working in the door area that could help us. He said he didn’t know, and kept on walking. Didn’t bother to say he’d get somebody, or even attempt to call someone.Apparently they just didn’t want to make any money. Good move Lowe’s ... we took our business elsewhere!
I truly dont even know where to begin when it comes to dealing with any Lowes location. It truly seems to me that Lowes is ran just like a Walmart very poorly. Their customer service stinks 100% across the board. Most of all no matter what it is I am looking for especially at the Rochester location there is always some kind of issue with this location the most. I wouldnt recommend a Lowes if my life depended on it. And they wonder why I take my business the Home Depot on a daily basis
I purchased online. They pulled the product out of their Rochester Hills store which is way out of the way for me to shop at if I were shopping. There was another item on the order I did not need or receive when they delivered which cost me extra. I went to the Madison Heights store to have the bill adjusted, they told me I had to go to Rochester Hills to get it adjusted. Not like HOME DEPOT where you can go to any store to have this done. I tried to do it on line but after waiting 45 minutes I gave up.
Mark in the Blinds and curtains dept was very helpful. My wife and I went to the store in Rochester Hills to pick out blinds for our Florida condo and Mark went out of his way to help us even though we would be calling the Florida store to place the order. I wish he could have done everything right there since we would have fully trusted that everything would have been ordered correctly. I hope this helps anyone else who needs blinds.
I ordered a AC unit for pick up in the morning and at 8:30pm got a call saying they where out of stock and they canceled my order. I went to the store today and found the unit I ordered displayed by the entrance. I purchased the unit because I needed it but I am very disappointed with the pick up and will not be ordering again.
Ive been shopping online at Lowes lately and decided to get itemsl shipped to the store. it has not been a pleasant experience its been at least 3 months and Im still trying to find a product I get an email once a week saying that it is in and they say it is not in the store or its lost. if Lowes is going to compete with other for filament centersThey need to get their Associates trained better with the shipping and receiving process.
Helpful friendly staff! They helped us find exactly what we needed. They have Veteran discounts. You must enter your info online prior to your visit. Then when you go verify it at the service desk with your info. You can then shop anytime in any lane with your discount.
Merry Christmas! - Warning --dont ever by a tree from this place! First of all went early 10am to pick up a christmas tree, and no one was around, had to go looking for someone to help package up the tree. Would not check us out in the area and had to drag a tree through the store and checkout at register. Good enough, I can deal with that, but once I checked out had my wife and kids wait in the store while I brought my car around to load it up. Went in and asked for string to tie it down. They pointed to a cart and so this was do it yourself, no help kind of service. Which is interesting to see a lot of the sloths just milling around the registers not doing anything could have easily help at least put the tree on top of my SUV, but that would be asking too much. That would be customer service and Lowes doesnt promote that, because who would need help loading a freaking christmas tree in December. So got the tree on my SUV myself and got the cart with the string and could not find a cutter. This is where Lowes really shines and had to go in asking for help again. Lazy punk kid come milling out and stands at the cart and asks me twice if I cant find the cutter. I told him I could not. He points to part of the leg of this cart where they have the words cutter in faded black marker on the side. They have a little saw blade attached inconspicuously to the cart. So no, I didnt see it!Wife told me later that he had gone back in side and was telling the other little sloths that I needed new glasses. He didnt know my wife was standing there.Merry Christmas Lowes last time I will ever shop at your stores.
I waited two hours to be waited on in the appliance department. I finally got frustrated and left. I went to a couple other places but couldnt find the same deal on the stove or dishwasher i wanted. I returned to lowes for the low prices and recieved nothing but disrespect. The emo female customer service rep I delt with treated me like I was a child. When I didnt understand what she meant by the dishwasher is hard wired she crouched down and repeated the words like i was a child being scolded. It took everything within me to hold my composure. I received my stove the next day... the delivery guys were great!!! But it is over 2 weeks later and I am STILL waiting for my dishwasher. Its nearly impossible for me to get an arranged date with the installers even though there is only a 3 hour window where someone can not be present in my home. They will not take my phone calls or call me back. I am beyond frustrated and will never buy a single thing from this company again.
I asked 6 people that worked here for Assiatant and they all told me they not the person that works in that department then I hear over the speaker for them to send someone to where I was I stood there for 15 mins waiting for help no one showed up so I left to go to Home Depot this is the worst Lowe’s I have ever been at
I wasted 20 minutes of my life in this store waitinng for someone in electrical to help me find a product, while dozen of other employees walked by me acting like whatever task they had on hand was of such importance. I went to the service desk to ask for a manager, while FOUR employees stood around trying to figure out who was working in electrical and who the manager on duty was. This store is a joke, HORRIBLE customer service. GO DOWN THE STREET TO A DEPOT!!
Kitchen nightmare!! Terrible experience on kitchen remodeling ordered from Lowes. I can write a book about my ordeal. I experienced and observed broken links among designer, contractor, and install/sales.To make long story short, I have been dealing a disfunctioning team, the right hand does not know what left hand is doing. I had to call Lowes say hi cabinets are in my garage for about one week. The estimator, designer, store install/sales manager, they came to my kitchen at three different times (I had to take time off for each appointment) assessing problems/issues during past 4 weeks, I was hoping they will fix problems/issues. Today is the 26th day from the first installation day, I still dont have kitchen to use, and holes, damaged soffit, damaged wall ceramic tiles, and big chunk of dry wall cut due to rerouted sink pipe, none of them have been fixed.I dont have status on the new re-ordered cabinets (contractor measured one side of the wall wrong) yet which means I have to wait for a disorganizing team to schedule a installation. I was told the counter top needs two weeks. So do the math for me, how many additional weeks I have to wait for a new kitchen? One thing bothers me the most is the installer, I can give you minimum 10 reasons not hiring him back, but so far I hear no one confirming to me will get an experienced installer.Okay, let me give a quick timeline of my kitchen project - cabinets arrived in mid of April, 2014. Installer installed few cabinets on May 5, 2014, then stopped, due to wrong size of 2 cabinets and pipe issues. The project still on hold as of today May 30, 2014.Last comments to make, the teams seemed very nice, but nice is not good enough, show quality product is as important as good attitude. The plumber is good.
Annoying 11% rebatesjust a gimick to get on their junk mailing list. If they truly cared them give us the discount at the cash register. I had to run to Lowes 4 times this weekend, and the cashier was clueless on how annoying the forced mail-in was with each purchase under $50.
The manager of this store does not offer a military or veteran discount. They only offer it on Memorial Day or Veterans day. The Home Depot down the street offers 10% off every day for military and veterans. The manager of this Lowes is not very patriotic and has lost my business and my friends and familys business for not supporting the troops.
When I needed a snowblower I went to Home Depot and they had only a couple machines available and no salt or sodium chloride which is what I was looking for then I went to Lowes and they were fully stocked with snowblowers so I was able to see every model and really get a good idea of what I wanted and they also had pallets and pallets of salt, sodium chloride, as well as magnesium chloride and when a store is coming the next day with a foot of snow it was a relief. I am not giving them 3 stars because I ended up buying a floor model and they were unable to give me the manual it should have come with, the cord for the electric start was probably with the manual and one of the tires on the snowblower needed air added to it but they claimed to not have a single air compressor in the entire store that we could use which is crazy because I would think they needed one to put the machines together in the first place. I know home Depot would have one because they rent out equipment.
I was suppose to get boards cut to size. I talked to someone about it. Went & got my boards & he disappeared. He said he had to watch a area that was blocked off. It was still blocked off & no one was around. I wont be back. I knew their was a reason I always go to Home Depot.
Most workers are very unfriendly and act like they really dont want to help. Obviously, Lowes is not not big on customer service. At least not this particular one.I gave two stars (instead of one) because, I did have one employee who was kind to me. Every other employee Ive interacted with there was rude and short with me.

2022-04-30I’ve only had positive experiences with this location in Rochester Hills. Returns, general check-out, special orders or pick-ups, paint mixing - all have been positive. Staff is basically happy and helpful. Plus Lowe’s has a bit more selection than other hardware stores. Can’t comment on contractor services like carpet or kitchen counters... but I’d never do that through Lowe’s or Home Depot anyway, because the customer has so little control and leverage in the way the work is subcontracted.

2022-05-01I cannot express enough how awesome our experience was today, we went in looking for a discounted dishwasher, because ours quit on us and we just bought a new house, and just had a baby a month ago. We had thee best experience with Hana, Dave, and Mike! They gave us the most incredible deal on a front load washer and a dishwasher that we simply couldnt walk away from. I wanted to cry, we have had so many bad things happen the last 3 weeks aside from moving and having a new baby and they made this experience so painless and amazing. Im so incredibly grateful for these three wonderful, caring people. From the bottom of our hearts thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Youre the best!

2022-05-11I would give 0 stars if I could. I’ve been trying to have my floors done for months.First, it took them nearly a month to get me their insurance paperwork. I needed it for my association - it’s NOT an unusual request, like they all told me it was. The flooring tech at the store had to go to corporate to get it for me. It’s plastered all over their website that their installers are insured, but they didn’t want to prove it when needed. The FIRST time they scheduled a delivery for me, they missed it without even a courtesy call. When I called customer service, she was unable to speak to a SINGLE flooring associate or manager. I was eventually called a few days later telling me the flooring wasn’t actually in stock and they were waiting for it to come in. At no point was I told it was a special order. Finally the day comes to do the installation. I was warned it could take two days, so I wasn’t surprised when it wasn’t finished day 1. The beginning of day 2 however, the installer tells me they don’t have enough and won’t be able to finish. And that’s where I am now. That was a week ago, and it’s been radio silence from Lowes. I tried calling on Monday, and the guy gave me the whole “oh well the installer just called us a few minutes ago! You should hear from the store later today.” I’m not buying that at all. I haven’t heard a single thing, and at this point, they REALLY don’t want to talk to me. I’m done with this. I’m close to going out to another store that DOES have it in stock, buying what I need (which I know, because the installer told me how short he was), and hiring someone else to finish the job.Adding a photo to show just how short we were. Really adds salt to the wound.

2022-03-16I had a very good experience coming here to get some brushes with hard bristles on it. The employees there are absolutely wonderful to talk to and are very helpful in regard to letting you know where everything is. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend, colleague, or anyone else looking to get items that are needed for your home improvement.

2022-04-11I have never had a decent experience at this specific Lowe’s. They always seem to be out of everything, while Home Depot down the road has adequate stock. Every time I stop at the store, I always end up leaving to go to Home Depot.

2022-04-04I was looking for kitchen cabinets. The salespeople in the department were more interested in their computer and nails than helping me. They made me feel I was bothering them. There were some good sales but I left.

2022-06-10Use the Lowe’s app select the store may items you find on there if they’re in the store it’ll tell you exactly where to find them. Curbside pick up is great. And they do propane exchange.

2022-05-08Always clean and well stocked with employees that are (mostly) eager to help far more than another big box hardware store.

2022-03-24I always enjoyed Lowes and their selection. I recently found another reason to like them. Clearance plants!! Houseplants that have sat around to long and are partially neglected get clearanced out. I just got 2 good size plants for under $20. If you can nurse them back to health its a great deal!

2022-04-16My husband and I went to Lowes for a bunch of things today. Our cashier Kyle was rude and told us we need to bring the item up or remember the barcode number. So I told him I didnt know I worked for Lowes and cant bring the item up since its locked up! After that he wanted to be nice and try to be helpful once another coworker wanted to help us. My husband and I spend so much money at Lowes to be talked to rudely when spending hundreds of dollars there. Make sure your cashiers know how to talk to customers or have someone watching them at all times because youll lose business that way! So annoyed and unhappy with how we were talked to!
