I have lawn fertilizing service from Lush lawn for more then ten years. On time service is always there. Result for fertilizer is good while weed control is at average level. Price is reasonable. From year to year I had fungus killing service from it which seems work fine.
We have had dollar spot fungus issues for years. Used Scotts disease control lawn products, with no success. Hired TruGreen, who promised to fix the problem. Spent a considerable amount of money over two years, with no success. Contacted Lush Lawn about core aeration, which they performed. Saw in one on their newsletters that they send out, that they treat lawn fungus issues. Figured we would give them a shot, as weve had no prior success with others. They put a sulfur treatment down, which finally addressed the dollar spot / lawn fungus issue. With all the money we previously spent with others, had we gone to Lush Lawn sooner, we would have saved thousands of dollars. We highly recommend them.
My service tech Seth did an outstanding job with core aeration and over seeding. I m kind of picky with my lawn. I explained what I wanted done and he really paid attention to my detail. He worked his off with the aeration machine. My yard is not easy to maneuver around and he did a fantastic job, very polite, professional young man. I made sure to complement him in front of my cousin, who was working on a project with me in front yard. This great customer service is EXACTLY why I left Trugreen.
Lush Lawn is a professional lawn care business that is competitive in price and are committed to their mission serving customers in the best way. They are very accommodating and courteous. We have been doing business with Lush Lawn for years and we are quite satisfied. Im sure you will too. I signed them up for our mosque.
Lawn feeding and weed and crabgrass prevention. We have used Lush Lawn for several years. The service is relatively a good value compared to the competitors. They provide advance notification of treatments and leave a document detailing what was applied. The results of their applications are that our lawn greens up earlier than others in our neighborhood and we have less weeds.
Canceling after this year. Prices for aeration and fertilization have skyrocketed. Every time I pay a bill I have 3 more waiting for me for services I dont remember signing up for. The last time they did aeration they left a big chunk of our lawn torn up right by our front sidewalk. I never see a (positive) difference on our lawn after fertilization so I dont think its worth the money.
We no longer use Lush Lawn.We canceled midway through the season.Our reason being, we had weeds that were not going away. When my husband called he was told these weeds were hard to get rid of.So, my husband went to a Nursery, was recommended a product, and it worked.So if we could get rid of it why could not Lush Lawn. They made no attempt to help solve the problem. All lawn service companies rush through fertilizing, etc etc. no personalized care.
I was hosting an outdoor baby shower for my daughter and needed the yard sprayed for mosquitos. I only gave Lush Lawn a few days notice, and yet, they worked me in to make sure the job was done before the shower. Heather went above and beyond to accommodate my needs (incredibly, I initially provided the wrong address!) GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
All Summer, I expected recommendations to treat the Leaf Spot fungus. Mowed and watered as recommended. Received many chemical applications. None eliminated the fungus. People walking by would not like the sight of my lawn. Cannot refer others. Mosquito control was perfect, as was the tree treatments. Very good business operation and professional employees.
I used Lush Lawn last season. Bought grub control, but the grubs didnt go away, needed an additional treatment for an additional fee. Different tech every time, which caused problems. We asked that they knock on the door prior to servicing the property, but they typically failed to knock on the door upon arrival. They auto renewed service this season, when I didnt approve, then the tech serviced the property (no knock) and then after sending an email to cancel, they required that I call them to cancel over the phone. I would not use them due to their inconsistency.
The first year I had Lush Lawn they did beyond spectacular. Anything and everything I thought of and wanted from a lawn service they did and more. I was having to mow my lawn twice a week almost every week due to how quickly my lawn was growing and how thick and healthy it was. If I was giving a star review on just my first year there wouldnt be enough stars to select. This most current year however the service has completely turned around. There is no follow through with most of what is said when, and if, I spoke to someone on the phone. I originally called in early August about the copious amounts of weeds and crab grass that is present in my front yard and with it being now September 19th there has still yet to be a resolution to the issue. I have called five times since with promises of the issue being fixed with no signs or attempts at following through on those promises. I am rating three stars because of the mix of the first year being five plus stars, and the one star I would give them this year. If the service returns to what it was I will again brag to everyone and anyone I can about how good of a job they do.To add to this for the current year. There has been much more communication on the part of Lush Lawn. I have received communicator back within a business day of any communication I initiated, and they have let me know when they are coming out ahead of time with an email the day before and a phone call when I am the next stop. My lawn looks good, not as great as it did the first year, but it is getting much better. Last year I gave them three stars based on the drop in performance. I have since changed my review to four starts because of the effort they are making.
I hired Lush Lawn/Tree Safari to service all of our trees and shrubs for all of last year. We had several trees with deficiencies and one that had scales which attracts bald faced hornets. The trees look fantastic now and no more hornet issues. Todd was my initial contact with the company and he goes above and beyond to get you everything you need. Its those personal relationships that make all the difference in the world when hiring and keeping a service like this. I really liked that all payments and communication about services could all be done online reducing the amount of calls and mail received. Great service and worth every penny to save all of our mature beautiful trees!
We have been with Lush Lawn for many years in both our previous home and the home we presently own. I cannot say enough about the great service and knowledgeable staff, both in their office as well as the team that services our property. When we moved into our home a few years ago, the grass was overrun with weeds etc...We have seen a significant decrease in the weeds as well as a much healthier lawn overall. We have switched our irrigation service to Lush Lawn as I was not happy with the company I had in the past. After recommending Lush Lawn to several people, they to are now happy customers.
Customer services is non responsive, They assured me by multiple people that they would service my lawn. They came out once while i was home, they came out a second time while i wasnt and only performed service on half the yard, caught the guy on my security camera, he walked into back yard looked around and left. I called to report this issues, they seemed like i was lying until i sent over the video of one of their workers doing this and they said they would take care of it. Never did anything about it and never came back out to service the other half of my lawn. I also prepaid for lawn-slitting, i was assured this could be done, sent over picture before payment, manager approved, i was told by multiple employees i can get it done, they come out to my house and tell me they wont do the lawn seeding until i put 1inch of top soil over my entire back yard, this entire time this company has been dragging me along. They refused to give me a full refund on services they havent even performed.I should have read the reviews prior to committing myself to this company- they are a 1 star company. Poor customer service- clearly poor management- Hope they can figure it out sooner than later - I would like my full Refund. Going to file a complaint with the BBB
The last technician that came out to perform my maintenance burnt my lawn in the front and back.. I called to have a manager to come out. Travis finally came out took pictures reviewed notes and saw I didn’t have this problem prior to my service. Travis told me that they would be out on Friday to repair my lawn. It has been over a month no one has come out. They won’t return my calls the office personnel stated she sent him a email and still no response. For two years they have been getting my money and my lawn is destroyed I would never recommend Lush Lawns to anyone. My neighbor is a lawyer and he stated he would handle my case if that don’t fix my issue. Own up to your mistake and come repair my lawn. I will reach out to the owner or a corporate office on Monday.
Lush Lawn has been professionally providing fertilizer, weed control, and lawn pest control for me for a few years. They are timely, efficient, and provide helpful advice like when I was re-seeding, they recommended using hay. My lawn improved dramatically as compared to my previous lawn service. The density, greenness, and fewer weeds was the end result. My nephew previously worked for them, and that is how I became acquainted with their service and how they train and certify the techniciains. I would highly recommend them.
I pay for a fertilizer service so I dont have to think about it. Unfortunately with lush lawn I spend more time calling and hoping to talk to someone than I would fertilizing my own lawn. Ive been billed 3 times this year and they have shown up once. Customer service is abysmal. I wish I could give negative stars.
Used to be happy with their service but when I started working from home I noticed they skipped my back yard entirely. My back yard is easily 75% of my total yard but they billed me 100%. When I complained they said the best they could do was half off the application.If you use this service make sure your home or you have cameras to prove they are actually doing the work.My 2014 review: I had lush lawn service my lawn for the first time this year. I have had 0 weed and my lawn is looking great. I will use them next year as well.
UPDATE: Lush Lawn has replied asking for my contact info... The Lush Lawn manager and office staff already have my contact info as Ive called multiple times per week for the past 3 weeks. The receptionist knows me by first name at this point... They say they set a high standard, but from my experience on the customer side, this is anything but true and in fact, its insulting at this point.-------I was a customer of Lush Lawn for a full year and thought I was enrolled in their Extender Program as I was told by the sales person when signing up. It turns out I was actually enrolled in an a la carte program which I was ultimately billed more money for than the Extender Program. I was never told I was being enrolled in this different program and was under the impression that I was in the Extender Program and would be receiving those services. Since I was not in the program I signed up for, I never received grub treatment this summer and had a grub infestation which caused nearly 50% of my back yard to die and had to be ripped out and replaced with new sod. My yard has always been a pride point for me and was in great shape before using Lush Lawn. It looks terrible now. Ive called multiple times per week for the past 3 weeks and keep being told that Kyle, the local manager, will call me back. Hes yet to return my call and the company shows no interest in working with me, the customer, to make me happy. STAY AWAY!
Lush Lawn promised they would come out and perform an aeration twice and never showed, never called. I took the day off work both times an waited for them. I then called them back a third time an said I found someone new. A month and a half later, again, no call before or knock on the door, I hear a machine in my yard and I told the technician that I cancelled the service and did not want it performed, he said OK, I will tell the office. Lush Lawn has now sent the invoice (for a service that was not completely finished) to collections. I dont understand how a company can treat people this way.
I trust my yard mosquito control to Lush Lawn and they do an excellent service. We have a pond and With the monthly treatment we are completely mosquito free even with the water proximity.Technician always shows uniformed and on time, accomplishes the work fast and properly.Customer service reps are very well trained, polite and friendly.The only time a had a concern the owner called me to work it out. I totally recommend Ludh Lawn services.
They tried to set up their first appointment to service my lawn (brand new customer), but unfortunately the one day they picked I was having people over. I followed their instructions to email their service department 4 days in advance to request a change of service date. No response. Ever. Luckily they mustve gotten it and did not show up. Then they tried to service my lawn on another date, only to leave me a note that they brought the wrong equipment and would be back to try again. Mind you, my grass was torn up in areas. Not off to a great start but I was going to be patient since I understand it can be tricky logistically to begin with a new customer. Then they tried to INVOICE ME FOR SERVICES THAT WERE NEVER PERFORMED. Better yet, when I called to dispute the invoice they said a manager confirmed they performed services, so I will have to pay the invoice. Thankfully I took a picture of this note and emailed it right over to them, which they confirmed in writing that the invoice will be voided. Should rectify the issue, right? Nope. Two months later they asked why I havent paid the invoice? I promise you this will end up in collections. DO NOT USE LUSH LAWN. Idiots in all departments. Forgot to mention, it even took their sales team a month to confirm the services I wanted.EDIT: Even the person responding to reviews is clueless. No part of my lawn was aerated at any time. Zero percent. Aeration isnt difficult to notice. To the second point, your records of when I signed up for services was well after first contact and verbal agreement to services. I contacted you in late August to figure out what was going on.
We are very pleased with Lush Lawn care service business and have been serviced by them since last 3 years. They go beyond our expectations when it comes to taking care of our yard. They even send out their personnel to review the quality of their service in your yard for free. Very impressive! I can tell our grass quality certainly got improved after they started their service.
Lush lawn did not follow up after several calls to reapply weed killer. My lawn looked just as poor after half the summer was gone, with lots weeds; even with lots of rain and good weather; they never followed up on treating my trees as I requested; but they were always calling to apply new products like mosquito spray. After several calls With unsatisfactory follow up; and an unsatisfying lawn- I cancelled service. Then I got several follow up calls to try to restart service. If only they were so attentive when I was a customer
At the end of August I signed up with Lush Lawn for them for aeration and overseeing for my lawn. I was informed that I would be one of the first customers when they began their aeration in September. By September 24th they still had not come out, so I contacted them and was promised they would be out in the next 3 to 5 business days. On October 1st they still had not come out. No one was answering the phone and my point of contact stopped responding to my emails. At this time I informed them I would find someone else if they did not complete the service by the end of that week. I moved to a different state on October 9th. On October 11th I received an email that they performed the service on October 10th. This was over a month later than they were supposed to and because of the weather I was not able to properly water the lawn. I am extremely disappointed with Lush Lawn and I would not recommend them to anyone. Please heed the reviews. I did not and I regret it.Edit: I appreciate the owner responding to my review. But, the sales department lied to me and led me to turn down services from several other companies who probably could have serviced my lawn sooner. It was told to the service department that I required my lawn to be serviced quickly because I was putting my house on the market to sell. I appreciate that you have discussed this with the sales department, but that does not correct my issue. I still do not recommend using Lush Lawn.
We have used Lush Lawn for almost three years at our present location. We have always received excellent service and care. The service arrives when they say they will; does what needs doing, and leaves. Our lawn has looked beautiful for many years. The service is great and the price is very economical. We like the service!!
Lush Lawn has been doing my lawn, shrub/bed maintenance, and pest control for over five years and Im very pleased with their service. Their crews are professional and careful, and always make sure Im satisfied with their work. They communicate if they ever need to change the time they come for service and their prices are reasonable. I would highly recommend them.
Im very disappointed with my recent experience with Lush Lawn. I signed up for their fall over-seeding and aeration treatment only to come home and realize the service specialist left the aeration plugs all over the driveway and sidewalks. Its not so much the dirt or mess that bothers me, but the old addage of leaving your workspace cleaner than you found it. Apparently Lush Lawn doesnt instill that quality in their employees. When I called to see what could be done to correct this situation I was told that services were already rendered so nothing could be done. Which is an absolutely absurd business practice.I went on to email the Office Manager and never received a response. Very professional indeed. I cant recommend a company that does not care about the condition in which they leave your property and lacks basic courtesy.
I’m a new customer. Tech came out and spent a lot of time going over my yard. He is very knowledgeable regarding landscaping and he also offered advice and solutions for some other home maintenance issues I have. Lush Lawn did a great job cleaning up my yard and were very polite. I’m so happy to have found such a great company and I highly recommend them!
I havent been a customer of Lush Lawn for over 4 years but they still insist on calling me daily despite asking them not to call at least 4 times in writing. My lawn has gotten much healthier since I stopped using this company and looks better too. This company is all about the sales(pressure sales BS) and not about the service. Do you self a favor and find a smaller company that is worthy of your business or do it yourself. Also, check out Yelp reviews on this company to get the real non-AstroTurf story.
Signed up for 7 treatments. Got the first one in April and then it took 2 months before they came back out again. It is mid-July and have only had 3 treatments. There has been no difference in the way my lawn has looked except I got an email from them saying I have a fungal disease in my lawn that they can treat for 70 dollars! So I am not sure what I am paying for if I can get these diseases when I am already paying for treatment. Just an all around disappointing experience with Lush Lawn. Would not recommend.UPDATE: I canceled my service the day my original review was posted and representative confirmed my cancellation over phone. They tried calling me and apparently a manger came to my door when I was not home to try and talk. So obviously they had some knowledge that I canceled. However, I never had any interactions with Lush Lawn after my cancellation and SURPRISE they came and sprayed my lawn today and billed me! I called to ask why they were servicing my lawn and they had no record of my cancellation? Ridiculous!
THE WORST ! This company is garbage . I used there service for one season and things were fine . Then in the winter I notified Lush Lawn that I did not want their service for the upcoming season . My wife and I had just had a baby and my wife was concerned about the chemicals being used on our lawn. I never signed anything and told lush lawn twice I did not want their service for my lawn for the next season. They did the first treatment on my lawn without any notice and when I called to complain I was told they had no record of me canceling my service . So now my wife is very upset and lush lawn still wanted payment for service I told them I did not want . Then I get a phone message about a month later saying they will be out the next day for the next lawn treatment . I called lush lawn and left a message because they are impossible to get a hold off. Telling them do not come to my house AGAIN , what do I see when I get home from work the next day ? A lush lawn flag on my lawn . So I contact them again and of course no one answers so I leave another message . No reply .This is when the bills started showing up . Lush lawn must spend more money on sending bills to people then they do on anything else . I received at least 2 dozen letters in the mail asking for payment . Then they started calling me everyday for payment . I explained to the girl on the phone every single time that I did not want service that I should not be charged for the lawn treatments I told them not to do . This company is terrible , they never tried to be helpful or attempt to resolve this problem . Lush lawn has now sent my $159 bill for lawn treatment I never wanted to a collection agency . Do not use this company . They are crooks and do not care about the customer . I work in construction and signed up with lush lawn while working the Novi home show and will definitely tell anyone who walks to their booth at future home shows to stay away and find someone else . Lush Lawn is a terrible company and doesn’t care about the customer at all.
This company does not stand behind their services!!!! Wish I could post photos of my lawn!!! It looks terrible. They were supposed to be at my house on Saturday 9/18/20 to apply a Revive treatment, no one showed up. Received a phone call on September 21 at 6pm, well be out on Tuesday for the application. Told them to forget it. Their Branch Manager Ryan, talks out of both sides of his mouth. Terrible company, Im thinking Legal action.
I honestly had a bit of a falling out with Lush Lawn at the end of last year over some service and some misunderstandings, but Mike Cronin must have called me 30 times to get everything straightened out. Ive been a customer for two or three years now and there is no doubt my lawn looks infinitely better than before I started with them. They really could improve on their service write-ups were some type of assessment is performed.
We have been using Lush Lawn for the past 3 years. When we first moved into our house the yard was filled with weeds and there were many bare patches. We now have one of the greenest and prettiest lawns in the neighborhood. We often receive compliments on our yard as well. The service providers are always kind and courteous and anytime I have ever had a concern about the yard they address it immediately. We highly recommend Lush Lawn.
I did not have a good experience with Lush Lawn. I prepaid for my services in april of this year through October.1) they came without calling ahead (as requested) when I WAS HOME and didn’t treat yard because my dog was in the yard. They didn’t even ring doorbell. We requested a call ahead multiple times since April and got it about half the time2) they completely skipped the 4th treatment. I called in late July after they had not done a service in over 5 weeks and they said they would escalate my call and almost 2 weeks went by with nothing so I called and canceled my service.3) they had a recommended service treatment after every month (which I usually followed) this particular one said I had grubs and said it was a serious issue and could ruin my lawn if it wasn’t treated quickly. I immediately paid. After 10-12 days went by they still had not come out and I had to call and remind them I paid and to come out for the service.4) I also called because we had extremely heavy rain within 30 minutes of an application and I wanted to make sure it would still be effective. I had no return voicemail.The customer service rep who answers phone is friendly but i literally had to call almost every month of service which is really disappointing. I also requested a refund check which they said they would issue last Thursday. I asked them to outline the cost breakout of the refund in an email which she said she would do immediately after taking to her manager. Still have not received.Not worth the money or waste of my timeOn the phone.

I started with Lush Lawn a few years ago with a lawn that was 80% ground ivy and other weeds. It took some time, but I am pleased with the grass and lack of weeds in my lawn. If I have a question or concern, one phone call and a technician is sent to remedy the situation. The company is a pleasure to work with and I will continue with their service. I recommend them highly.
Don’t waste your money. After years of me trying with them to get my lawn looking great they only cared about Upselling (even as I told them to remove me from lists like this one). The company does not care about anything but the payments you make. They tried charging for things they never did. Don’t waste your time. Many other companies that do a great job.How about the July 2018 test? I had to email for 3 months to get anywhere between that and calls your company needs to look at processes. I had a great experience with one person who was why I stayed on an extra year but that even let me down. Own up to your promise. How about you post my soil test results (after years with your company) showing your products we’re doing nothing for me.

Had to have five pine trees medicated,one was iffy but the other four were just showing signs of sickness this spring I will have to have four removed after two years of injections at $1080.00 a year due to a fungal infection of some sort,they have been getting worse every year but they show up and do whatever and leave making sure you get the bill,poor service dont know how they stay in business when they dont know what they are doing,the only thing they want is your money and provide poor service.Thanks alot I could have had the trees removed so they wouldnt keep getting worse.
This year I discovered Lush Lawn, and Im so happy I did! My lawn has never looked better. In all of my my years of lawn service, I have never been more impressed. The staff there is so helpful and friendly. They suggested the flea and tick control which I found to be very effective this summer, and my dog sure is happy! I will definitely continue my service with them in the upcoming years, my lawn looks like a golf course! I am one happy customer and I would absolutely recommend Lush Lawn for all of your landscaping needs.
After investing over $1,000 in lawn treatment last season, I am still battling with staff (Alex Thomas & Corey Alexander) to resolve issues that I was assured would be addressed first thing this spring. Sloppy aeration and over seeding left my property with grass growing in all ornamental landscape beds and boulder walls. Lip service and lack of follow-through is their priority. If you are seeking a high-quality experience, I highly recommend you look elsewhere.UPDATE TO OWNER RESPONSE: Your reply to this post is completely non-factual. I have requested Lush Lawn, since October of last year, to remedy this issue. You had more than my permission to visit the property to resolve the problems. I sent e-mail after e-mail, followed by repeated phone calls, to no avail. Deadlines came and went to resolve the over-seeding issue and your response indicates that somehow I held up the process. Perhaps it is time to audit your internal operations and discuss the true facts with Alex Thomas and Corey Alexander. Lush Lawn bears the responsibility for this lackluster review. I stand behind the fact that your company will over-promise and under-deliver.
I would not recommend Lush Lawn for their lawn care service. I have three primary issues with Lush Lawn, and all are big issues related to their service, which, by the way, I will never again use. First, I always pay up front for the whole summer of fertilizer and weed control applications. They should be coming out monthly for an application. The first week of August I realized they had not been out for some time and when I checked, I found it had been seven weeks since their last application. I called them and they said they would be out the next day, which they were. In the meantime, my lawn had been overtaken with spurge and I told them on the phone they needed to specifically treat for that. Because it takes some time for weed killer to work, I gave it a week and a half. Not one bit of spurge was dying off after that period of time. So, issue number two was: they did not treat for spurge. By now crab grass and weeds are also overtaking my lawn. I called Lush Lawn and asked to speak to a manager. I was told the manager was out but she would call the next day. That call was Thursday, August 15. Halfway through the next day (Aug 16) I still had not gotten a return call so I called again and was promised the manager would call me by the end of the day, August 16. As of the date of this review, August 20, I have not heard back fro LL. This speaks volumes about how they value their customer relationships and is completely unacceptable. As a final note let me say I do not want or need a lawn that looks like a golf course. But I can honestly say in the 6 years I have lived in this house, my lawn has never looked worse. Yes, Lush Lawns prices are good but going forward I will pay a little more to a company that values my business.
Lush lawn cut my invisible dog fence during aeration. I told them Very carefully about the invisible fence ahead of time. After the incident, the Manager at Lush Lawn claimed I didn’t notify them of the invisible fence ahead of time and demanded full payment. I paid them their bill, less the fee to fix my invisible fence, which is a fair and reasonable solution. After that, they called me and threatened me with collections and small claims. Not good people. Stay away.
I am writing this review because my letters, emails, and phone calls have gone unanswered and ignored! After paying my May payment, I called lush lawn to cancel my services due to financial reasons. The person I spoke to said she would put my account on hold, that way if I decided to restart the service it would make it an easier process. I said that was fine with the understanding that I wouldn’t receive serviceunless I called back. On August 3rd, this company sprayed my lawn with a fertilization and grub control application while I was at work. I not only didn’t receive a call stating myaccount was off hold status, but I didn’t receive a service call ahead which was noted on my account previously because I have dogs. If I had received a service call ahead, Iwould have told them I no longer wanted their service. When I did call this company to complain, I was told myaccount came off the hold status, it was a miscommunication, and I still needed to pay the bill. The application was not only not agreed to but it left circles in my yard. Still to this day you can see where the service men drove in my yard. All I can say is that this company should be ashamed of their service, I truly think myfront yard is ruined. I receive at least two calls a week from them trying to collect money from me but they wont answer the emails and letters I have sent to them. I am not paying for a service that I did not order, that I did not need and that ruined my yard.
Don’t trust any positive five star rating of this company. I suspect they are bogus reviews.Roughly a week ago, I added my negative 1-star review. At that time the overall rating for Lush Lawn was incredibly poor with the majority of their ratings being one star. And at that time there were only roughly 50 ratings. Now, a week later there are over 200 ratings and every new rating is five star. Think about it: who is getting their lawn serviced in December. Very suspicious that so many reviews suddenly appeared in this past week, all glowing 5-star ratings.Don’t trust any five star rating of this company. Stay away from this company. They are a sham
I pay for a fertilizer service so I dont have to think about it. Unfortunately with lush lawn I spend more time calling and hoping to talk to someone than I would fertilizing my own lawn. Ive been billed 3 times this year and they have shown up once. Customer service is abysmal. I wish I could give negative stars.
I hired Lush Lawn to get rid of moles in my yard. After one application that I didnt feel worked, I asked to cancel my treatments. Not only did they not cancel, they came out 2 MORE TIMES. Even after 3 treatments, they moles remained. They call me 3-5 times a week looking for payment (I did pay the initial, then told them to cancel) and send letters once a week as well. Bottom line, I told them to cancel, I even offered them $75 to go away and they wouldnt accept that. Check their FB review carefully, and check with the BBB as well. My advice, STAY AWAY from Lush Lawn.
This company is a total joke. I used them for last season, where they offered a discount if you pay upfront. All was fine until they burned up my lawn late Summer and tried to say that it was due to a bacteria from falling leaves...like its Fall and theres a ton of dead leaves on the ground in July/August. So when they sent out a new estimate in March for the prepay season, the rates went up and I called and cancelled. The girl who answered the phone said Yea, ok. Then they came out and did an application. I called AGAIN and confirmed that my account was cancelled. The maintenance manager or (production manager) answered the phone said Sorry for the mixup, no worries, Ill take care of it. But Lush Lawn continues to send me an invoice...and now wants to send me to collections because they failed to take care of their issues on their end. Ive called, explained the cancellation, and they are still trying to collect for their mistake. Go somewhere else! On top of that, my neighbor used them for a seeding, and they just sprayed it everywhere- Ive had grass growing in places I dont need it to. This company is a total joke operation.
Used them for a couple years. On the last application of the season they burned my lawn. Called them to take a look. I was given several promises they would come out but nobody ever came. FINALLY after a year of persistent calling someone came and decided they would come back and seed the areas. Ha! Never saw them again! Do not use this service!
Update to the response.A total fabrication of the timeline. I have proof of payment for the remaining balance. This is why customers should steer clear of this company.After reading the many reviewed similar to mine, I would recommend a letter from the company that they understand the service is to be cancelled.Dealt with this company for 7 years in the last 2 years they had turn over in the Rochester Hills office. Prior to this, I didnt have many issues. Since then its been horrible. I prepay every year, I have an acre of lawn that needs to be serviced. Never had any billing issues until this new team in the Rochester office. This year I prepaid as usual and in October they send me a bill for 87.00 saying that they made a mistake in the price they had me pay in Feb. I paid over 1000 in full to the amount they quoted me at in FEB. ALL YEAR LONG a zero balance. Then in Oct they charged me a late fee and say they made a mistake in Feb. I tried to contact them for 3 weeks until I finally said enough and canceled my service. Still, nobody could explain why in FEB the prepay was shown in full then in October I suddenly owe more. Additionally the last 2 years I have had grubs and paid every year for the grub preventive and grub killer. I had holes in many areas of my lawn. I watched the security cameras during their service days only to see they didnt service the entire lawn just parts.Now I am getting harassing phone calls daily from Corey the manager 4 to 5 times a day 6 days a week, STAY AWAY from this company. Poor service and childish management.
Lush Lawn has been doing our lawn service for 3 years and we have noticed a big difference in our lawn. We dont have the dandelions that used to blanket the entire property and the other weeds are way down. I like receiving a call ahead of time, letting me know on what day the representative will be by to spray.
I have been using Lush Lawn for three years to manage my lawn now. Shane has been my contact there and he has been nothing but knowledgeable and friendly! They are very reliable, hard-working, flexible and kind. We used to use them just for our pest control, but now we use them for fertilizing and weed control and have been very pleased. They even take the time to pick up our dog toys when we forget and leave them in the yard and they pay attention to the details when treating our home. Couldnt be happier with them.
We have been with Lush Lawn for several years. They had done a good job for us in the past. This spring, however, the weed killer was applied in the rain and it was not effective. I have more weeds than I have had for years. A new person was running the sprayer. I prefer the previous operator. He had been very conscientious. I was disappointed with this application.
Service is barely adequate. I have been a customer for 7 years. Each year the service has degraded. I always pay up front. Each year at least once, they service my neighbor instead of me. My address is printed huge on my garage. I then have to call them back out. They then will miss a month and then come out again 3 weeks after to make up. No one has been out since the second week of July....almost 2 months now. Left 3 messages on their machine...no call back...yet i have still received messages to add overseeding and add services...
I hired them to do a single lawn aeration. I told them explicitly that I just wanted the single treatment. They then came out to my house multiple times after that and tried to bill me for weed and grub treatments that I never hired them to do. I then had to fight with them to not have to pay for these. Since then they call me every few months trying to get me to hire them again. Ive asked them at least 6 separate times to stop calling me and that I will never hire them again. They refuse to listen. I just got another phone call from them today.
I love Lush Lawn, their product is outstanding and my grass has never looked greener. The rep I worked with was knowledgable and friendly. I am a new homeowner that didnt know what to purchase for my grass. Joshua Roosen was the rep I worked with and He explained every product thoroughly. Josh made this transition Into owning grass extremely easy for me. I will never shop anywhere else for my grass needs. 😀
Extremely disappointed in the care of my lawn (or lack thereof), and the customer service was even worse. Let insects destroy my lawn, wrecked my landscaping by spraying seed everywhere, left a mess all over the sidewalk after aerating, and then harassed my phone and sent me to collections after I refused to pay for the terrible service. And that was after having a manager come out to apologize for the poor service that he also witnessed. And if you dont want the same service every year, then you better get on the call for authorization list!!!
Terrible hard sell practices and subpar services. I hired them for weed treatments and found weeds in the lawn all summer- despite supposedly receiving 7 treatments. I frequently received calls from various technicians, service reps and agents all giving me different dire warnings about the state of my lawn. For example, in one week i had three different people from this company call to sell me grub service, fungus service and insect service- all claiming these things were responsible for my brown grass (that i hadnt watered all summer). They need to focus on improving the services theyre providing instead of up selling.
This is the worse company you can have servicing your lawn. I was recruited by Matt who is no longer with the company, but the arrangements were made that were never followed through. He assured me that after prepaying for my services the technician would monitor my lawn and make sure I would not have issues of any kind. Few months into my lawn got completely destroyed with insects, and it was not noted on my account until I questioned one of their technicians if there was an issue with my lawn. It was their mistake but I ended up paying for insecticide and revival application. During this issue, the female called me from their office soliciting a service and also to confirm the additional services added because of their mistake made on my lawn. I approved all services but aeration and told her that I would call if I decide to go with it… In mean time the technician came did all 3 services even though the 3rd service was not approved… After months of talking to the same female and her refusing to have office manager call me or the owner, my account ended up in collections for 1 service, but I prepaid and paid 3x more that. I would bet that there is more people out there that this was done to, I think this is how they get extra money, and the owner has no idea what is going on, I wouldnt be surprised if the people who call to solicit more services get bonus from it, or monthly quota done.
There people that service your lawn do there job, no problems.There product works ok, my lawn still had a lot of weeds that in order to get rid of I had to do it myself. The worst part of there business is that first they recharge you every year automatically. They say its for your convenience but its so they can just hope they slip through the cracks. Then even when you call to cancel they do no note your account properly so you end up arguing to get bill adjusted. I have been a customer of theres for a long time. They were canceled due to my lawn being replaced and there employee acknowledged it and said the bill would be adjusted. They kept sending me bills and I kept calling them, three months later they said they would give me a discount. The manager not only cost his company my future business but everyone I know. Brilliant business person.
I contacted lush lawn to seed dirt patches on my lawn in the spring of this year (2019) and made the unfortunate mistake of requesting them to provide a monthly service on my lawn. I made the even bigger mistake of pre-paying for a discount as well. The grass seed that was planted is now essentially back to where it was prior to hiring them (even with adequately watering my lawn and several other gaffs on their part.1. I used their web portal to purchase an overseeding for the spring in April. Come June, they had not come out to overseed my lawn and I had to call them to find out that, yes, it was no longer spring and they would not be overseeding. I was told it would take a MONTH to get a refund. I called after a month and STILL had not received a refund. I dont understand why it would take a month to get a refund, and voila, after 2 phone calls, I received a credit on my payment card.2. I received my 3rd lawn treatment in early June, and after 5 weeks of not getting a lawn service (Mid July), I called and asked when my lawn would be getting serviced and was put on an ASAP service list. Come the end of August (time of writing this), I had to call AGAIN to ask why it had been 6 weeks since my previous service. I was told that I received an automated call that they had come out the previous day, but they had not. I was told that the customer service rep would speak to her manager (same line I had received before regarding the overseeding) and there was no follow-up phone call.I am incredibly disappointed with the level of care I have received on my lawn. I was a TruGreen customer the previous year and figured I would go with a local company in order to get a better level of service and boy was I wrong. I have a variety of weeds growing in my yard that I did not have last year with my previous service and from the tracks in the yard, it didnt look like they serviced my whole property either.I would advise any one against pre-paying for their discount as there is clearly no accountability on their end to provide the services to their customers. Purchasing services on their web portal also seems to be unwise since they didnt follow-up to give me a timeframe for my service or to even let me know that it wasnt going to happen!All of this could have been avoided with better customer service. Several opportunities to make it right and now its approaching the end of summer and I have a feeling Im not going to be getting all of the services I paid for before it snows... Time to find a different company for next and I will be letting anyone in the market for lawn services to steer clear.
Just fired them after several years of service. They have gone down hill quickly. Several no shows when they promised to provide service. They said we shoed away their service tech-(we did not, in fact no one every came to our house in 2018)- and since we cancelled our service we would have to pay twice the amount to start up the contract again because we were being undercharged.For 7+ years you were happy to service our lawn and only now you figured this out? Thanks Idiots, we will take our business to someone who appreciates a customer who pays their bills promptly.Find another option, unless you like being treated poorly.
Ive just signed up with Lush Lawn this year and recieved a great price. When I called to pay my bill I had a lot of questions. The office staff was courteous and very knowledgable. Definetly a great experience so far and can not wait to see how my lawn turns out this year. Also had questions about my trees and I spoke to a certified arborist and he was very helpful.
Got in touch with them, just to see how they fared comparatively and I was happily impressed. They were very responsive and accommodating and started soil sampling almost immediately. Looking to see how they do respectively on the rest of their services. So far very good.
Be careful when dealing with this company.I had their lawn aeration and overseeding done in fall of 2017, with horrible results ( no grass, lots of weeds / crabgrass). I pointed this out to a manager that stopped-by during a service call.Then they auto-renewed my fall aeration and overseeding for 2018 without my authorization, and they want me to pay $160.00.Shady practices. If you dont cave into extorsion, they threaten to take to collections.Also, The Lush Lawn service personnel dont have a clue where the property boundries are, so many areas went untreated all summer.Every one of their service people are lost.....
I have had the same experience with predatory billing for unauthorized service as many others here. I was happy with the service up until they began harassing me. Below is an email that Ive sent to Lush Lawn, to which I have not received a reply:Dear Lush Lawn Customer Service Dept,On many occasions I have provided you my credit card information to settle this balance. I use this credit card multiple times daily. I have no idea why your organization seems to be the one, out of many hundreds of places, that cant seem to figure it out.Furthermore, I have spent a considerable amount of time trying to help you figure it out, as well as deal with non stop phone calls and emails from you. The bill I believe is around $15 dollars.The value of time spent, yours and mine, over this $15 is ridiculous and exhausting, and I havent even addressed the original charges yet. So here is the history of the original charges:Back towards the beginning of the summer, my company partially laid off all Designers and Engineers. Our salaries and schedules were cut down to 24 hour weeks, basically half employment. I had to make many difficult choices and Lawn Care didnt make the cut. So I specifically told your organization to stop all services until further notice. I told your staff that I was happy with the service and to call me to check back with me at the very end of summer or the start of fall.Instead of calling me at the end of summer, you just started up service again & started billing me again of course (while Im still half employed). When I saw the signs out front, and the bill, I called immediately to tell you of YOUR error. Your customer services department admitted that this was an error and that the instructions I had left were clear that service was not to start again until you had my expressed CONSENT. Even so, you had asked if I would provide partial payment since services were rendered, even though they were unauthorized and had been halted by me months prior.At that point in time, I was still happy with your company and agreed to a partial payment, because I believed that this was a one time mistake by an overall good company. So I provided your with my VALID credit card information.In the weeks after your acknowledgement of your error and that discussion, your company came out at least TWO more times to provide more UNAUTHORIZED service. The second of those times, my son called me and I had him go out front to stop the services.In hindsight, I can see that your company has no REAL CUSTOMER SERVICE department, what you really have is a billing department. I say this because any real customer service department would recognize this as absurdity, bordering harassment.I expect a reply to the points that I have highlighted in this email, as well as an explanation on why after all of this hassle and ERRORS, you think I should still pay this small bill.Regards,Ted HensonRochester Hills
Not sure how this company is in business.I was excited to hire an organic lawn care company to take care of my lawn this summer. I spoke with Evan on, April 20th, who sold me the prepaid option of 7 treatments during the summer months with a guarantee of a weed free lawn. He told me I could call anytime if I had any concerns and a technician would come out.I told him the only thing I require is to meet with the lawn technician each time before any type of treatment so I was fully aware of the service I was going to receive. I was going to be out of town the week of April 24th and requested someone to come out the first week of May. He said this was fine and that the technician would call me prior to his visit.Weeks go by and I attempt to contact them 4 times and left them 3 voice mails and sent 1 email. They never showed up to my house and never called me back. At this point I gave up on them.Now, it being June 6th, I finally get a call from them. The guy on the phone said that the technician who visited my yard said your soil needs irrigation (now they want to sell more to me??)... I stopped him right there and told him no one has serviced my yard and that this was the first time I have heard from their company since I agreed to their service on April 20th (after numerous calls and voice mails). He told me I already received one treatment as the technician came on April 26th (COMPLETE SCAM). Wouldnt you think he would have left something in my mailbox at least to let me know he came by? I told him my story and he back tracked and said the technician came by just to look at my yard and he plans on coming to treat my lawn next week (week of June 12th). My question is, why would they wait until mid June to treat my lawn when I paid for 7 treatments this summer??? Are they planning to treat going until January? None of this lined up.At this point, the guy did not know what to tell me and I told the company I do not want any further contact.As far as I can tell, this company has very poor customer service and, to me, is a complete scam.
I signed up the end of March and the sales rep told me they would be out in 2/3 weeks. I waited almost 8 weeks for someone to come out. The only communication I received was when I emailed them first a few times, to get an estimate of when they would be out. They finally came out end of May, June, July. Now August they were suppose to be out but the technician was a no show. Again I reached out to them to find out when he would be out and was told they would have someone out as soon as possible. Three weeks later not communication so I cancelled my service. I know we are in a pandemic but if you can’t service your customers than maybe you shouldn’t be doing business right now.
I just gave lush lawn the boot.They are the worst lawn services I ever had. Instead of concentrating on results they concentrate on upselling. They were handed a pretty much perfect lawn to maintain and now I have to maintain the weeds myself because their products and technicians they use suck. Trust me, dont use this company.
Customer service is better than average. Over the last two years, in the spring when the lawn is wet, my lawn gets torn up by the equipment. Typically when the machine is stopping, turning or changing direction. I think the operator is working too fast and tearing up my lawn. Also, I would have to ask for retreatments multiple times for dandelions and other invasives.. in the end, it just was not worth the hassle of managing and we went to injecting chemicals tonics into our sprinkler system at 10% the cost and no work or management over site of this company.
Started off very impressed but after they broke a retaining garden border and I notified them, I expected it to be fixed. It never was.They have a broken call message center-- we have been called by them (back to back), as much as 4 times IN A ROW on numerous days.The staff are friendly, but we still have weeds all over our yard and when we discussed it with sales, it was always just another money grab...you need this-- you need that--even though weve spent a LOT OF MONEY to specifically kill the weeds. Im really disappointed in what I thought would be an expedient way to end our minimal yard issues.I ended up losing my temper with them over the sheer number of phone calls we were receiving.Buyer beware, friendly doesnt necessarily mean capable.
This company is the best! They have taken a terrible lawn that had not been treated or taken care of for years in a home we just purchased and turned it into a lawn we are getting compliments on from neighbors and the lawn mowing service! Keep up the great work! We will always refer you to friends and family!
This place is a JOKE. They are great sales people but after payment dont expect anything else. Paid for a whole year of service (just over $1000). Was told someone would be out within a week. No one showed up. Called and a week later someone shows up. The service report says they fertilized but did not spray for weeds (for whatever reason). Weeds were growing so I called a couple weeks later. They left a voicemail stating someone would show up 7-10 days at the latest. 30 days pass and I ask to cancel the service. Salesman talks me into staying and says someone will be out for sure within a week. No one shows. Call again and they said someone will be out Monday for sure. Guy calls and claims his truck is broke down and would reschedule in 2 weeks. I called to cancel the service and requested a refund. Sales manager called and said not cancel and he would have someone out here today. He said the guy did not show up on Monday because he ran out of fertilizer on the truck and did not want to do a partial job. I told him that was odd because the driver claimed his truck broke down. The sales manager said he did not know a voicemail was left (A lie from a sales guy.. imagine that)... I told him I want a refund ASAP so I can hire another company. That was over 4 weeks ago. They have not credited my credit card and no one will return my calls. I have filed a credit card dispute with my CC company. Sad part is I have a cancellation e-mail yet no money.. but they were kind enough to send two feedback letters on why I cancelled. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!! WORSE IN THE BUSINESS (I Have used Scotts, TruGreen and Natural Way and have never experienced anything like this). STAY AWAY!!UPDATE: Lush Lawns were nice enough to contact me and say they will get this issue fixed. I have an E-mail from Mallory stating the money they will refund me. A check was sent to me and I deposited in my bank account. 2 days later the check cleared. 2 more days later they, Lush Lawns, cancelled the check. Now I am out of the money they owe and also a penalty by the bank for a cancelled check.
Hired lush lawn 3 weeks ago and they promised they would show up roughly 5 days after we hired them. They never showed up. We called again and they promised the would come out in a few days. 7 days later no show. I called again this week and spoke to manager Kevin. He assured me they would come out in 2 days. They never showed and my called 2 days ago and they promised they would come out the next day. No show again. Called again today and they said they would come out by 5:30. No show again. The funny thing is there billing department is reliable as we got our bill 3 weeks ago. Lush lawn is unreliable and dont follow through with their word. We are having a birthday party for our 6 year this weekend and the lawn looks horrible. I would of done it myself if I knew they would never show up
This company will scam you if youre not careful. I signed up for lawn service during their off season for the deal. I later decided to cancel the service approximately 2 months before they were to come service the lawn. They told me that everything was good and that they would not service the lawn. On the day that I originally signed up for the service they came out and left a bill on the door. They never gave me a courtesy call saying that they would be coming out, that way I could have told them I already canceled the service. I called them to let them know of the situation and they said it was nothing they could do and that I was still responsible for the bill. Two years later I am still being harassed by this company for an error that was committed on their end. With this being said I would not recommend them to anyone and I wish there was a way I could leave no stars because they are not even worth 1 star in my opinion.

We have an over growth of weeds along our fence and in a large area by the pool. The representative from your company was very helpful as we discussed the property and we pointed out the trouble areas, while both of us were viewing Google maps.We were requesting that service be providedAlong the entire fence lineAround the pool, andNormal weed control of the lawnWe were quoted a price of $53 per application and there would be three applications before the end of the season; which all seemed very reasonable.The first application was done on August 16th at 6:08 p.m. on a day of torrential rain. We called Lush Lawn early that day to reschedule and asked that the application “not be applied” due to the amount of rain and the fact that we were not going to be in the office after 4:00 p.m. We wanted to be available for the first application to ensure the fence areas were done; we were more interested in the fence areas than the actual lawn.Our request to reschedule was ignored. The next morning we found service invoice was left on the mailbox, out by the road, and was filled with rainwater. We called Lush Lawn to find out why the service was provided when we had requested it not be applied. They sprayed the lawn but none of the other areas we requested. You said you were unable to reach the service guys.A sales representative, Dominique, then came to our office on August 21st to try and resolve the conflict. Our office manager and Dominique walked the property and we were informed that to obtain the service we were requesting another package would need to be purchased.When she called the next day to give us a price it was much higher than the original price and we informed her we would need to obtain permission from the company owner first; which he did not give.On August 28th we received a letter indicating we had agreed upon the service and pricing – that was not the case. We did not want to continue service with Lush Lawn because you could not provide the service we needed around the pool and fence area at the price we did agree upon.Last week we had a very lengthy phone conversation with a representative of Lush Lawn…making it very clear that we did not receive the service we had originally agreed upon and we will not use your service. Two days later we received a call that someone would be out to perform another application; we told them again do not return / Please take us off your mailing / emailing list. We will not be doing business with your company.
Would not hire them again. Hired to treat, aerate, and seed my lawn. They carelessly seeded a gravel walkway that (very obviously) should not have grass growing in it. After bringing to their attention 3 times they still have yet to return any calls to address this. Customer service is complete garbage here, I would not recommend using this company.
Copying this experience from two years ago and nothing has changed. Extremely bad costumer service!!!!!!!!! This was the same experience I had today. 3-23-16Absolute worst experience anywhere. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. First they gave me an email quote and I never responded, so what did they do?? Just decided to come out and spray my lawn when I wasnt home, or aware they were coming, and of course they left me a bill! I obviously was very upset they just wandered into my yard, and tried to charge me for something I didnt want, so I called and after getting the run-around for a few days, I was told they would cancel everything... Until the next bill showed up! Upon calling them I was yelled at and told I would have to pay, and then hung up on! upon calling back they wouldnt even answer, so I tried from a different line, and of course they answered, but with the same response...For your own good do not go here!!!Response from the owner 2 years agoI want to apologize for the confusion with service. They said I verbally agreed to a contract, which I didnt, then put down a treatment. I didnt want it so i cancelled and they put another treatment on anyways. The $100 mole treatment of course. It didnt work and I still got the bill. I was willing to pay for the first treatment but they put the second on after I cancelled and made it clear they would not work with me at all. If you choose them for your lawn service, good luck. the treatments i got havent helped at all. Turf builder has worked though.
Angry, aggressive, non professional costumer service!I cancel my service last year 2015, i have more weeds than grass after LUSH LAWN treatment.So before last (7th) application i have spoke with one of 3 people in their office and i cancelled my service.at march 14th 2016, they come back! and spread chemicals on my grass without my permission!!!!!! and charge me for that 35$ even when my service was cancelled.I call them again and TARA she call her self a manager, was extremely aggressive, unpleasant, told me that they newer received my cancellation call, and now i have to pay for service!LUSH LAWN PLEASE DONT EVER COME BACK ON MY GRASS AND NEWER AGAIN CHARGE ME FOR SERVICE IF I DONT WANT THAT!!!!!!PLEASE
Im just in the beginning stages of working with this organization (Brighton, MI) location and I must say, my experience thus far has been way above par. Im working with Bill in Brighton and he has worked with me extensively on the billing side, lawn prep, and ultimately what needs to be done in order to make this thing work. I am starting from scratch...literally 1.2 acres of dirt and weeds. Lush Lawn is definitely making my life easier and Im looking forward to having a beautiful lawn for my kids to play on by mid-summer. I would recommend working with this organization and in particular, working with Bill in Brighton.Quick Update - Since starting with them, nothing has changed....open communication, consistent work, lawn care guidance, and responsiveness. I now have a lawn full of nice green grass and am very excited about it as it will only continue to fill in and grow. Again, Bill in Brighton is awesome to work with and I cant recommend them enough.
Amazing Compay! Last year at my condo I used Deluxe Pest Control to control the bees. 2 treatments were all I needed to enjoy my deck again. Other companies would have to come out every other week and respray and told me there was nothing they could do about certain bugs. Last year, I didnt even see some bugs, which was nice. This year Im looking forward to having Lush Lawn out to my new HOME an spray for bugs again and do an aeration. I recommend Lush Lawn for anyone looking for a local company with local owner and employees.
I wish there was an option for zero-0 stars. We moved into our home just over a year ago and our lawn was green, growing, and OK. I called them out for a couple patches i have never seen before. Long story short, my lawn is now half brown and green from what they did. They are quick to hassle you about payment, but slow to take care of any request you may have. I am headed to court to get my money back since I cannot get a response from them.
I recently signed up to have them seed and aerate my lawn. My husband normally takes care of the lawn himself but it has gotten to be too much. The sales rep I spoke to was very helpful and offered to fertilize and kill weeds for us as well. Happy so far and my husband is excited to be able to enjoy more of his weekends now!
Essentially this company stole my money. I requested a service, overseeding, and paid the fee online. I was told the next day the service couldn’t be provided.I asked for a refund no hard feelings. Then my nightmare began. I was told it had to go to corporate and a check would be mailed out next week. This was April, 29th. I called and emailed a couple weeks after and told it’s still processing. Easily the money could have been reversed back to the card.June 9th now. Still no refund. I called, texted and emailed recently. No one will respond to me.Now I have to file a fraud claim with my bank and already filed a complaint with the BBB.Just beware this company is not honorable.
Avoid at all costs. They operate like used car salesman: they have an auto-renew policy for your convenience where they carry-over services year-to-year and make you call to fight with them to cancel it. We ordered 5 applications of the perimeter pest control in Summer 2014 and spent most of Summer 2015 & 2016 trying to get it canceled. Busted their techs on multiple occasions spraying in the pouring rain.Reaching them is a nightmare as you talk to a different anonymous person every time by e-mail and the phone usually rings to a full voicemail inbox. Their robodialer is broken so you usually get voicemails that are incomplete or just hang up on you.Summer 2016, informed them I was moving and to cancel all services. Summer 2017 rolls around and the new homeowner calls me and asks me what the people in his yard spraying chemicals are doing. Surprise, its Lush Lawn. Over the past few months I have battled them to cancel services because I no longer even live at that address and yet they keep coming to spray and sending a bill in my name to the new homeowner. On June 15th I asked them to send me an e-mail invoice that I could pay and instead they sent a paper bill to the old address (and then showed up to spray & bill another session anyways).I was told today that my account is paid in full and services have been stopped but after 3 years of dealing with these people, I really doubt it.
Went on “Home Advisor” for lawn care in my area, and from that, Lush Lawn called me and I got talked into a verbal agreement for aeration. Should have been a red flag, my policy is “ don’ t call me...I’ll call you”. They are in Rochester, and I am in Fraser. I reconsidered and called to cancel, but could not get through so I left a message with my name, address, and phone number. They came anyway and went over my sprinkler heads breaking one. Now I get a bill for $80 ?? What a ripoff. They said I would have to mark my sprinkler heads but gave no warning they were coming! Would give zero stars if I could.
Ive been doing business with this company for over 6 years. Not once have i had a problem. I used to have another company but they were expensive and didnt do the job like lush lawn would. Their service is the best and the workers are always kind to me and family when they come. Thank you and hope to keep doing business with you guys.
They completely destroyed our lawn and when I contacted them to remedy the issue they gave me the run around on sending someone out. I took a day away from work in order to meet with a tech during an appointment they had scheduled the evening before. Long story short this tech never showed up and when we called to see where they were they now said we didnt have an appointment but would send someone out by the end of the day. Someone called around 7:00 PM to let us know that someone had stopped by to take pictures to show a manager and that we just had leaf spot. Good news though they had a treatment they could sell us to fix the leaf spot. We asked for a manager to come out and they said it would be up to 2 weeks before someone could make it. We ended up cancelling our service the next day and our new service confirmed later in the week that not only did we not have leaf spot but they had burned our yard with their fertilizer.
I was billed for services not performed. Phone calls went to full mail boxes and when I did talk to someone they told me they would look into it and get back to me and never did. Email was not responded to at all. 2 snail mail letters received no response just a form letter asking for payment. I was a new customer and am now cancelling my service. I pay for services I receive and expect at least common courtesy.9/11/2019 I responded via email last Friday. I was contacted on the 30th of August but that conversation while pleasant has produced no results. I was asked if I could improve my rating if something was done about my issues and stated I was not sure. Benefit of the doubt people could have forgotten commitments made late on a Friday before a long weekend.
This company has ZERO customer service. We have had them for 3Years now and I intended to cancel them last year, but my husband renewed them. We always have recurring dandelion issues with them. Last year the technician said the company had watered down the formula and that all his customers were complaining. He finally sprayed them with a hand held bc sprayer and that helped. This year, bv sane thing. I told the technician that he needed to spray by the flower beds. He said he couldnt because but would kill the flowers. I told him that last years technician used a hand held dby the beds and he bbn told me heceadnt given a sprayer tobuse.
I really hate to write this review but I am running out of options dealing with Lush Lawn. I had contracted with another company that retired and transferred me to Lush Lawn a couple of years ago. The first year I saw some decline in my lawn condition and decided this spring that I would tackle it myself. I contacted LL and asked them to discontinue my service after the first treatment but was home one day when they came up to treat the lawn. I stopped the guy before he started and he said he would talk to the folks at the office. Unfortunately I recd a bill for that service and have been in on ongoing battle with them to remove this charge. Every time I call somebody says theyve fixed it but in a few weeks I get another bill in the mail asking for payment and late fees. I am completely fed up. After so many opportunities to fix this Im starting to think this is their accounts receivable business strategy.
Do not use this company! They ruined my lawn and are trying to collect almost $300 in services that were wrongfully applied and ruined my lawn.Even the manager Alex admitted they made a mistake and still wants to collect!!They did a great job for two years and then totally blew it in 2018. They will ultimately pay for my new lawn. Stay tuned
Its funny that both Brett Cummins and Richard Dyer are Lushlawn employees posting good reviews for themselves. Go figure-------------------------------------------------------I had a horrible customer experience with these guys. The sales guy was very friendly and convinced me to switch my service from TrueGreen. He promised me services and rates over the sales phone call which he was supposed to call me back and confirm before starting the service. I got a surprise when the service was done on my property without him getting back to me and confirming the rate and services. When I called him back he kept on promising me for 2 months that he will resolve the issue but it never did. Finally I cancelled my service in frustration and filed a complaing against them on BBB. I would not recommend these guys and if you still do please make sure that you are crystal clear with them upfront on what your are getting and what you are paying. Also try to record the phone conversations with them since theyll deny anything which does not suite their interest afterwards.
Had repeatedly terrible experiences with them for every service provided!! Worst company ever...here are some highlights:1) Completely tore up my yard when they aerated it--left giant tire tread route marks that were about 10 feet long in my front yard! Called to complain and told them I would not pay for the service until they fixed my yard. They ended up fixing the yard months later but would repeatedly call me for payment while I was waiting for it to be fixed--they couldnt keep the situation straight in the back office and kept telling me I shouldnt be getting called for reminders. Very annoying.2) They come on a riding cart to spray for weeds and if the cart cannot reach areas of the yard, they completely ignore the area! Unbelievable...I had to call them back after weeds didnt die in areas of yard that the cart couldnt get to (neighbor had same experience). Too lazy to get off of cart and spray entire yard.3) I repeatedly asked them to call ahead so I could be home when they provided treatments and they never did so.After repeated complaints I was told they had fired some staff but I would avoid this company.
I have used Lush Lawn for a few years and was basically satisfied, even though thy burned my back lawn once. But this year they burned it badly that it is a total loss and summer just began. I called them a week ago, even emailed them a photo, but have had NO response from them.
Got an appt. with Jessie a week and a half ago. He said I would be put under asap status for aeration and overseeding but no promises heading into a holiday weekend. If not, right after for sure. Call a week later... still on the schedule they say. Called two days after (today) and they said YEP..on the schedule but couldnt tell me when for the following week. I called again to see if I could get a better sense of timing and the new person said i wasnt even scheduled!! But ..they said now I am. When? they dont know but now I am under asap status again. Sure.I called competitor, they gave me firm date and just canceled with Lush Lawn. What a waste of time. Now here comes the response/lip service about how much they care. Look at the average reviews. They dont care.
I just cancelled my service half way through year two. The reason my yard is full of weeds is because I dont do 7 applications per year. Well news flash, never had weeds before and have always done 3-4 applications a year. Rude customer service, you are going to have weeds unless you do more applications. Cancelled. out looking for a company that does what it says....do not recommend
My honest advice; Be careful dealing with this company. There was a dispute with this company; the owner can not be reached for repetitive request to resolve the issue; instead solving the dispute they forwarded to collection agency; Capital Accounts for $136.00. They illegally pulled my ss # and informed to credit bureaus; my credit rating went down from 825 to 674. My attorney now working on it. Only option you may have; please dont do any dispute; else they will ruin your credit score. I will advise all my friends in Michigan and real estate agents to avoid this company for their peace in mind. Most unreliable and disrespectful lawn care service company in MI.
They did a poor job last year so I canceled. they came out this year and did an application. I told them I did not order. They said it auto-renewed even though I canceled. They continue to send bills. I had no intent to diss them in a public forum until their staff insisted I owed money and threatened collections. It is not the way to run a business, do a poor job then not accept responsibility when a customer cancels. I would recommend avoiding them
I dont even know where to start. Ok ...DONT USE THEM!!!!!My yard has looked awful since they started. I managed my lawn bymyself for 10 years and always got complements! Got busy and figured it would be worth it.... WRONG.I had to fight for service calls with new weeds in my yard. They only came out once....I requested morning appointments with no weekends and call ahead so I could pick up dog toys and make sure my kids werent going to be outside. That never happened either. Was promised all kinds of things. Yesterday, a manager shows up, unanouced and just went into my backyard, never even had the decincy to knock on my door!! He told me they cannot fix the weeds ... ok... they have burnt my grass to the point of needing to replace sod now 3x. I get a call todat stating someone will be out tomorrow... get home to find they did an afternoon treatment, unannounced AND fertilized over all my kids toys, dogs toys, in their plastic water dish AND all over my neighbors yard. I was 1st hung up on...After calling back I get 2 so called managers that were very unhelpful...I have fired Lush Lawns and urge you to avoid at all cost!!This is by far the most disorganized company ever. It is run by a group of very unprofessional, inexperienced kids!!Avoid them!!!!!
I was extremely displeased with this service and had to cancel my contract after 2 years of lawn care. They did not deliver on services we had paid for, such as lawn aeration, because they didnt have a machine small enough to fit through our gate. They called constantly to try to sell unnecessary additional services such as lawn painting for the winter. I REPEATEDLY said we werent interested and asked that they stop calling, but they do not take no for an answer. Even now, they continue to call to reinstate our service and they refuse to accept my answer. This company is extremely unprofessional and I believe they damaged our lawn. The back yard is a disaster and we may need to re-sod the entire lawn.
I am very pleased with there service. I told them I didnt know if they could save my front lawn because at end of 2018 I got grubs really bad and there was a family of skunks that would come every night to rip apart my lawn. I was so wrong. It is so pretty and very green.Thank you Lush Lawn for proving me wrong.Jodi
I used them for just one season at my new home and had nothing but issues with them. They dont keep their appointments and dont tell you their not coming. They burnt my grass, just left a pile of fertilizer in my back yard. They came out and put some grass seed down, but it still hasnt grown back. They dont fertilize any areas that their riding machine doesnt fit, plus the machine tears up your lawn if it is in a tight area. They also caused little brown rust spots on my newly poured cement from this summer. I would not recommend them to anyone. I use to use Todds Turf at my last house and thats who I will be returning to.
Wish there were 0 stars. A very dishonest and rude company. They dont do satifactory work but expect payment. We are not even sure they did the services we were promised as our yard looks worse then it did in the spring. We were also told by 2 neighbors they saw a tech sit across the street in his truck not doing work but put a bill on our door. Horrible business!!!
To my friends in Oakland, Macomb and Livingston County. This is a warning about using a company called Lush Lawns. Their tactics are near robbery. I signed up for 5 applications of fertilizer. Those 5 included 1 that killed the grubs. After the 4th, they claimed I had LEAF SPOT. ($113.00) then I needed my lawn aerated (another $100.00) then because they didnt clean the machine after their last appointment, I got Web worm. Another $83.00. After the Web worm, one of their Supervisors told us that he didnt believe we ever had LEAF SPOT to begin with. Did they offer a refund for treating for LEAF SPOT? NO, they only wanted more money for WEB WORM! When I tried to talk to the supervisor, he would not shut up long enough for me to tell him what I was upset about. I finally had to tell him to shut up and let me talk. Even then he interrupted me every time I opend my mouth. Whatever happened to the CUSTOMER is always right? They are in my opinion unscrupulous and out for a quick BIG buck. Now I have a 5 ft. round hole in my lawn where grass use to be. They want to come out and reseed my lawn in that spot. Yep, You guessed it. ANOTHER $100.00 Lush Lawn, YOURE FIRED! #lushlawnsucks
I thought I knew a thing or two about lawn care but I was schooled and made to feel weak in my wisdom when placed against the likes of fine technicians like Tom Hart. When I see the bandanna I know my tree care, pest & all general lawn care needs will be met with a superior level of quality not found with other companies. Lush Lawn for life.
Mediocre service, but theyre great at calling you constantly, to up sell additional services. Cancelled three years ago for a much better service and STILL get solicitation calls despite multiple requests for them to take me off their list! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE
I have abandoned my lawn for almost 3 years causing lots of weeds... almost 30 % of my lawn was occupied by weeds. I came accross with Lush Lawn at a Home show and tried it out with doubt. After about 2 month, my lawn has changed dramatically. I was lucky to meet wiht Lush Lawn. Now I have to cut the grass more frequently as it grows a lot with GREENER Color. Thanks Lush Lawn.
Wish i could give negative stars. Serviced on my property with no written consent and permission from me. By default they assumed and enforced auto renewal even if you pre pay for 1 year. On top of that they threatened me collection! you are never getting my buisiness!!
I was very pleased with the professionalism of the staff. I called this fall spoke with Jennifer Brooks to get a quote for this upcoming spring 2016 very surprised of how knowledgeable she was and the fact there was great pricing. Gave them a second chance this year! We had so many weeds...called them and they were to come out in 3 to 5 days. No show! Called again and said they would be out on Friday..no show! So they are fired again! No customer service! If they had a zero rating they would get it!
I personally dont ever write reviews but these guys were simply the worst company that I have ever hired to take care of my lawn.They ruined my grass in the beginning of the season with whatever BS fertilizer they used and came back to TRY and fix it towards the end of JULY. The grass never went back to the way it was, not even close and basically told me to figure it out on my own.PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE dont ever use them. if i were allowed to use profanity while writing a review i would have.

Few days before labor day weekend one of their trucks utilized our circle drive to turn around (We dont use their service so they had no right to do so) Because of the inexperience of the driver the trailer ran over the edge of our grass and ended up breaking a sprinkler head and damaging part of the line. I called and was told someone would contact me the following Tuesday. As I expected, no one contacted me. I reached out over the next two weeks without anyone answering the phone. Last week I was finally able to get a hold of someone who informed me they could have someone out Tuesday (Today) at 11am. They would call and confirm that on Monday (Yesterday) Overall theyre just wasting my time and likely dont intend on ever fixing their own mistakes. Theyve wasted my time since now I need to fix someone they broke. Just gave them the opportunity to do the right thing, and they couldnt even do that. Ridiculous.
Ordered a service that was supposed to be performed late fall, October, aeration and over seeding. That is what the salesman told when he sold me the service. They performed the service in August which means I have to water every day so the seeds will germinate at considerable expense. When I called to complain, their attitude was so what, just pay us. When I told them their salesperson misinformed me they said, just pay us. Horrible customer service. I would never recommend them.
Technician never applied the fertilizer treatment and left a door tag that said they were there 5 hour before. Called the office and they agreed to come back out but never showed up. On a previous visit it looked like they only applied fertilizer on part of the grass.
Absolute worst experience anywhere. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. First they gave me an email quote and I never responded, so what did they do?? Just decided to come out and spray my lawn when I wasnt home, or aware they were coming, and of course they left me a bill! I obviously was very upset they just wandered into my yard, and tried to charge me for something I didnt want, so I called and after getting the run-around for a few days, I was told they would cancel everything... Until the next bill showed up! Upon calling them I was yelled at and told I would have to pay, and then hung up on! upon calling back they wouldnt even answer, so I tried from a different line, and of course they anwered, but with the same response...For your own good do not go here!!!
I had a very unproffessional experience with the workers from this company at the Holiday Inn Express in Waterford. apparently the management of the hotel double booked the room for the last half hour of our meeting. The men from this company kept barging in and disrupting the meeting even going as far as to make threats to the female meeting leader and swearing in front of women and children. I was appalled at this behavior. We were packing our things and doing our best to leave the room and the heavy man wearing a white lush lawn shirt continually harrassed and threatened us. The situation was the hotels mistake. There was absolutely no reason for these men to be rude to innocent people.
This company was horrible , i have tried for months to get them to do the service , the workers claimed they completed my yard but there is no way because i have a lock on my gate, i have left several messages and phone calls not one person in the company cares but when the bill came out they sent me to collections over $113 , so are they forcing me to pay the bill with no service done,, i can go on and on with this company if you want to waste money go right ahead and pay for a service that was not performed,
I personally went into the office and paid my bill with a check, they lost the check and asked if I wanted to make a payment over the phone. I will have to put a stop payment on the check which cost $33.00. I should not have to pay for anything that I am not responsible for.

2022-05-19Lush Lawn has been great! We were referred to them by our prior provider who was no longer servicing our area and the transition was seamless. They send a notification when they are coming out to fertilize our lawn, provide feedback at the door or speak directly to us when we are home, and have made recommendations that have made our lawn look better.

2022-05-19Lush Lawn is more expensive than other services I have used, but they have had the best customer service of any of them. Last fall one of their machines got mired in a swampy portion of my lawn and made a mud pit. They notified me immediately, went and got fresh sod to repair the lawn, and also overseeded the area again this spring to make sure it was healthy.

2022-05-19I have an very large yard. The technicians are very thorough when they spray for weeds/fertilizer. If they dont die in a week or two, they are responsive to my call and return to spray the stubborn ones a second time. I am very happy with their services.

2022-05-19I am totally satisfied with Lush Lawn. My home backs up to a tree farm. There are plenty of weeds and always a battle to keep them off the grass. But with Lush Lawn its never an issue. I use them for mosquitoes and pests as well. Money well spent.

2020-09-23STAY AWAY FROM LUSH LAWN!!!This year, for the first time, I hired Lush Lawn to fertilize and apply weed control to my lawn. (Previously, I did it on my own as I used to own a lawn service). Their fertilizer worked great -- as it helped the crabgrass and weeds to grow and takeover. For the first time in over 30 years at my house, my lawn was covered with weeds.When I complained to the technician he promised, but failed to take care of the problem. Despite their guaranty, when I called the company they refused to come back and service the lawn. Instead they tried to convince me that my weeds were too hard to control and that I still had to pay for the service -- that didnt work!Interestingly, I subsequently went to Home Depot and bought some Ortho weed control that I applied using my own garden hose and, voila, most of the weeds were dead and gone within a few days.Yet, despite their failure to control the weeds, they want to charge me for three applications (one of which I paid for shortly after it was done -- not knowing that it was not going to work).Overall I give them and F (failing) grade -- only because anything below that is unavailable.If you need weed control service, do yourself a favor and find another company!!!

2021-05-25I recently returned to Lush lawn after using another service and very glad I did. Its not only the great results I get with a green weed free lawn, but all the other support information as well. I plan to continue to use Lush Lawn and I believe their services are the best.

2022-06-02They have a required auto-renewal. They perform services on your property the next year without your consent. I sold a property and they continued to perform services without my consent. They refused to reverse the charges. Very short sighted. Many of my neighbors have requested recommendation on lawn services in the area, and I can not recommend this company.

2022-07-15For a monthly service- kept giving me excuses as to why they couldn’t come out- holiday week, rained the night before… even though service is rain proof. Found a worm in my daughters bed!!! If they would of came for the original monthly service or even the two times after they were suppose to come out this wouldn’t of happened!!!!

2021-10-18I started using Lush Lawn service for lawn fertilization last year. Not only they are very responsive, the quality of their application is outstanding. I was with the other green company that didnt make any different to my yard for years. Switching to Lush Lawn was one of the best decisions I made. Have seen a notable difference in my yard quality, no weeds, healthier grass etc. Love their service.
