This School sucks. The Principle is rude some of the teachers are racist. The first day of School was so dead. Half the Teachers didnt even want to speak the Greetings was horrible. And the so called Principle is Rude and some of them teachers. Im moving my kids out of the school ASAP

I attended this campus when it was IPA ( International Preparatory Academy) in 2012. I was one of the first graduating 8th grade class from there along with 40+ other children. This was by far one of the worst schools I have ever attend. The grading system was horrible , the teachers were quite rude , AND to top it off... they only graded test NOT HOMEWORK! 1/10 would not recommend

If youre looking to send any of your kids here then dont!! This school is quite terrible. We barley got homework, the classes were non educating and boring and 7th and 8th graders were treated like 4th graders. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE, YOU WILL REGRET YOUR DECISION!!!

Its sad to see the terrible reviews from the times of the previous administration at MacDowell. Its important to note that the school is now called MacDowell Preparatory Academy and as of July 1st, 2016, the school is under new management, American Promise Schools, which also operates Jalen Rose Leadership Academy in the same area. The APS specialty is putting children on the path to college—the #1 goal they bring to MacDowell. We are excited about our passionate, effective teaching staff, our inspiring school leaders, and the collaborative community we are building here. If you are looking for an excellent school for your child, we hope you give MacDowell Preparatory Academy a look.

This school is good i love it the principal is nice all the teachers get along with the students they always doing they job they care for people the discipline staff are nice and the dean of 6-8 grade help out alot shes the best but they all are the best so i recommend yall going to Macdowell Preparatory Academy because you will be safe

Well, it is been changed to International Prepatory Academy. And the staff is very unprofessional!! I am currently looking to enroll my son in a BETTER SCHOOL!! I MISS MacDowell!! Do NOT send your child here!!

This school is a joke, I take my childs education seriously and I feel like macdowell has failed her academically.. Its sad that after about two weeks of school, her teacher resigned, also my kindergarten student goes to Bates Academy and literally has packets of home work every week, where as my fifth grader has only had 4 home work assignments so far this school year smh* the school changes its name but its still the same situation

The school has no field trips what so ever I went here for like 2 months and left I hated it they barely had any activities this school was booty and I barely learned something here
