After spending umpteen hours trying to do my taxes on the new Turbo Tax I finally gave up and searched for an Income Tax preparer In my area. Bill Kirkaldy came up, I called and got an appointment the next day. I went o the appointment and it was the best thing I ever did for my own sanity. Bill took my papers, scanned them quickly and said No problem, My taxes were done in a timely manner and electronically sent. Had to file an amended return....never did this before. Called Macomb Income Tax for help. I got an immediate appointment and Bill walked me thru the whole process. I am very pleased and impressed with the service I received from Bill at Macomb Income Tax, LLC. To start, I met with Bill at 5pm on a Saturday and he had my tax return ready for me to sign the very next day at 10am! I’ve never had anyone prepare my tax return that quick! 2022-01-22Very very professional! He is quick with his responses and I thought I had a good tax preparer that I had been going to for ten years until I met Bill. He knows everything and if he does not know it he will figure it out and call you back. Our tax situation was complicated and I felt hopeless but he made it seem like it was easy and we had no issues with the IRS. If you want a professional tax service all year round with a user friendly online portal that he has created along with following pandemic guidelines and no mistakes made you should definitely book with Bill K.

2022-04-29Bill was great to work with. He was very personable and understood the challenges of doing my 2021 taxes. Bill found $1500 dollars in savings that I would have paid by doing my own taxes with Turbo tax this year. Since I made the same error in 2020 he was able to resubmit and fix that as well. I was one that believed in doing my own taxes, but realized it pays to let the professionals like Bill do them. I will go to Bill from Macomb Income Tax from now on.

2022-04-28Amazing service, professionalism, and timing. Bill was referred to me, and I cannot see myself going anywhere else from now on. I am a newly 1099 employee and had no clue how to file taxes. Bill told me everything I needed to collect that would take part in my taxes and applied them correctly. 2022-04-28I highly recommend Bill Kirkaldy. Always I got issue with my tax refund due to my wifes long name. Every year (since 2016 to 2021) I was using electronic service like HR&Block or Turbo Tax and every year a got problem and then I needed to send a letter for IRS office. Macomb Income Tax was very helpful and probably every year I will be there for my tax return. Bill was very attentive and in 2 weeks i got my tax refund. Also, i had problem in 2020 which i did not receive credit for my kids and he was able to claim and I got also the childrens credits. Thanks again Bill for all efforts.

I have done my taxes using turbo tax in the past, but was very happy and relieved to not have to worry about scrambling around last year, hoping I did not make a mistake or overlook anything.
