I called this company after realizing that my 4 year old BradfordWhite hot water heater was leaking! They knew EXACTLY what to do after I had issues with getting warranty information from the plumbing supplier. Chris the Master Plumber showed up at EXACTLY the time they said he would. He evaluated my situation...had the plumbing supplier on the phone and the warranty details covered in no time. He went to the plumbing supplier...showed right back up to my home with a replacement water heater.The new heater was installed in an hour. No leaks....with everything straight and true. He obviously has a great deal of experience and was VERY PROFESSIONAL. He was also very kind and respectful of my home.I RECOMMEND this company to anyone needing professional plumbing services. Especially Chris!!As a side note....I have NEVER posted something like this before about any company...
I called this company on Sunday night and Chris was at my home to inspect my water heater within 12 hours. I ended up getting the water heater replaced the same night, Chris did an absolutely outstanding job, explaining the process and completing the installation. I phoned Macomb Water Heater when my water heater started leaking because the business I previously used was booked up for the next two weeks. Macomb Water Heaters phone staff was knowledgeable and quoted a fair price for replacing my water heater. They would have sent out a technician to replace my tank the same day, but accommodated my request for an appointment on my day off. On the day of service, I received a phone call 45 minutes before the technician arrived and another call 15 minutes before arrival. Chris arrived promptly on time, explained the work, and completed the job with speed and efficiency. Great customer experience. Recommended.
I called Macomb Water Heater after my water heater started leaking. They asked some simple questions, asked me what water heater I wanted and had Ivan out within 2 hours. Ivan was an artist with plumbing - he worked quickly, and cleaned up at every step. There was an old floor tile and some minor debris under the old tank, he cleaned it up! I was beyond impressed. Ivan took the time to explain the new unit, showed me how to operate it and triple checked the water and gas connections. Ivan was done start to finish in under an hour. When my water heater died I took my time & got a few different estimates. Macomb Water Heater was the lowest by almost $300. They gave me an instant estimate through the chat option on their website (super fast & easy) & assured me it was an out-the-door price. When I scheduled the install, Chris arrived exactly when he said he would. He put in the new water heater, changed 2 shutoff valves & replaced the venting all in about 2 hours. Nothing extra was charged for the valves & vents. Some places will nickel & dime you for every additional issue they encounter. Chris patiently answered all of (my many) questions & hauled away the old heater & all the packaging when he was done. This place really has it together. It was by far the best experience I’ve had for a home improvement project.- Will be leaving same review on Yelp.
What a fantastic company! They quickly answered the phone and discussed my options to replace my failing hot water tank. Called back to ask about the units and was promptly given brand names and model numbers to research. Called back after about 20 minutes with my decision. Booked me an appointment within the next 2hrs. Called to let me know that the technician was a half hour away. Next thing i have a gentleman named Chris knocking on my front door right on time! What a great technician he was. Very noledgeable, polite and patient with my questions. He took the time to explain everything about the hot water tank that i needed to know. I highly recommend this place if your in need for a new hot water tank. Im pretty sure that all their servicemen/servicewomen are great, but i would definetly ask for Chris! True professional!
I called Macomb Water Heater at 8:30am and a new water heater was installed by Ivan an hour after his arrival at 11:00am. He was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer all of my questions. He took the time to check the entire system and made modifications as needed. Thank you Macomb Water Heater for installing our power vented, 50 gallon, 40k btu water heater in just over an hour. I didnt have to miss hours at work because they have no problem performing expert installation in the evening. I would highly recommend M.W.H. if you are in need of fantastic work at a great price. Incredible service. Called for repair on a pinhole in a pipe. They answered immediately and had a technician to the house in 30 minutes. Chris quickly fixed the issue and it was extremely affordable. The overall service and experience was fantastic. Macomb Water Heater will be my go-to for any and all future plumbing needs.
Patt was my installer he did a very good job with installing, explaining and clean up. I called at 10am and my new water heater installation was finished at 1:30pm. The heating and cooling company I normally use was booked out for 2 weeks and they recommended Macomb Water Heater for quick professional service, Im glad they did.
At 9 am on Saturday we noticed our water heater was dead and leaking. By 1:30 pm that day we a brand, new water heater and Interstar/Macomb Water heater was driving away. Chris did the installation and was very polite, courteous, and really fast!

Called Interstar and was immediately given a Price and installation time. With-in an hour Chris showed up and reviewed the job with me. Chris told me all that he was going to do and how long it would take (2hrs). Chris finished with 20 minutes to spare, and everything cleaned up along with the old water heater taken away. Our tank sprung a leak and within one hour they were on-site. One hour later new water heater was in place and old taken away. They also replaced outdated gas and water shutoffs. They were quick and did an excellent job.

Do you have a house with a bunch of oddities? Call Chris. It’s the best thing you can do. He is beyond knowledgeable, sincere AND helpful.The first company we had out turned the job down because it was “too big for his company to take on.” We knew our 1996-suspended-from-the-ceiling water heater wasn’t going to be a quick fix but we obviously needed help. We reached out to several other plumbers who all turned the job down.In the midst of this Covid-19 lockdown Chris came out the Friday before Memorial Day. Got us connected with an electrician. CAME BACK. And the entire job was done in 1 day. Including sawing back the wooden shelf and part of what our washer/dryer sits on. AND everything is safely on the ground, up to code and no longer a looming threat. Although he says he’d never seen anything like it in all his years, he made it happen.
We had an issue in the morning with our water heater that was going to quit at any day now (15 years old). I called Macomb Water Heater at 1pm, Ivan was recommending a replacement based on how old the heater was. I asked if they could check out mine before proceeding and I was okay paying the diagnostic fee, fee was waived after having to install a new one.Chris showed up to our house within an hour of initial contact and he spent 45 minutes trying to get it to diagnose the problem. After multiple attempts of cleaning & diagnosing he recommended to install a new one. I was already given a quote over the phone by Ivan and it was the same quote without any surprises by Chris. He installed a brand new Rheem water heater by 4:30pm that he had readily available on the truck.Overall, Chris & Ivan were extremely professional and knowledgeable. Chris completed the install in a very timely & clean fashion without any issues. He also walked me through how to use the new heater and if I had any issues to call and he would be back. Without trying to sell me a product they took their time diagnosing our current heater first, which I felt very comfortable with. I will definitely contact them in the future for any other replacements/repairs.Thank you again Chris & Ivan!
Chris replaced our hot water heater and did a great job. I texted them Monday night and was given a quote over the phone. The quote was way cheaper than another company that we were going to go with. Installed next day without any problems. I definitely recommend this company!!

Called Macomb Water Heater and they sent someone out within 40 minutes. Chris was extremely straight-forward, up-front, and friendly. Didnt pressure me to replace and offered great advice. He was able to replace my water that same day within an hour & a half. 100% would use them again and recommend to friends, thank you for everything! I can take hot showers again lol.

Great experience with Interstar, Inc. (Macomb Water Heater). We called for service at 5:15 pm on 11/10/21 and they came the very next day at 9:30 am to install a new water heater. Chris,, our technician, did an excellent job. He was very knowledgeable, professional, answered all of our questions, removed our old water heater, and thoroughly cleaned the area after he finished the installation. This was the best plumbing experience Ive ever had. Called late yesterday afternoon regarding a water heater replacement and at 9:00 this morning Chris was here ready to install the new tank. My Technician was Chris. He arrived promptly after notifying me of his impending arrival. He was very professional and immediately assessed all aspects of the intended installation, that being a water heater and chimney liner both purchased from Macomb Water Heater with installation included. He summarized what he was going to do and kept me informed of his progress as the work proceeded. He wasted no time while he was here. He was clearly knowledgeable and skilled. We woke up this morning to a flooded basement due to our hot water heater. My husband contacted the company and we were given a quote. I am beyond satisfied with the professionalism, courtesy, speed, and quality of work of Macomb water heater.I needed to have a water replaced for several weeks, and had spent the time calling, or trying to call, several different providers. It took several weeks of calls, because everyone I contacted seemed to be unable, or unavailable to do the work.I even had started a request with a different company, but hadnt heard back from them in about a week or so.When I saw McComb Water Heaters ad, I was reluctant to call, because the process of serving for someone to do the work I needed was beginning to become annoying.However when I called them, I could not be more pleased with how quickly and effectively the entire process became.They scheduled an assessment to determine what type of water heater I would need for my environment, and had a technician, Stan, out to perform the assessment within a day.Stan was quick and professional, assessed the work he would need to do, talk to his bosses, and inform me what the costs would be, what the company recommendations were, and what the job would require.They were even ready to perform the job the very next day, but I needed a few days to put the money in my account. It was surprisingly more affordable than I was expecting, and so I was excited.When the day of the install arrived, I received a call to notify me that Stan would be coming out to do the work about 10 minutes early, which was perfect.Once Stan arrived, he quickly informed me about how long the job would take, and what I could expect while he was working. Then he got to work, and again was quick professional and courteous. I am by no means a professional myself, but I can tell that the quality of the job that he did is pristine. Excellent service and workmanship! They went above and beyond to get my water heater replaced. I called mid morning and had my new water heater installed by dinner.Chris was professional, timely, knowledgeable and efficient. He made sure that I knew how to operate and maintain the new heater. Our water heater completely gave out and we gave this company a shot since they were advertising same-day installation, and Im so glad we did. I called them and their guy Chris had come out not even an hour later. This morning we had no hot water so we didnt really have time to start shopping around. I found Macomb Water Heater through Google. They said same-day installation so I called. Glad I did. The person that answered the phone seemed a little impatient and I wasnt very impressed but I went ahead and set up getting a new water tank anyhow.I was very impressed with the service and the technician. I made my first call about 10 a.m., by 12:30 Chris was here to install the new water tank. By 2 pm we had hot water.Chris was super friendly and personable and did a very thorough job, my husband was downstairs watching some of it and said he was a very good worker. Chris wanted us to come downstairs so he could explain everything to us which I thought was really nice and he did explain everything.I guess the price was reasonable, since I didnt do any comparison I really dont know. But Im okay with the price and super satisfied with Chris and the prompt service.

Our water heater stopped working on a Friday & most plumbing companies are not available on the weekend. I found this place & reading the reviews decided to call them. I spoke with Alex who was very polite & knowledgeable. He assured me they could get the job done that day & informed me of the price which seemed reasonable. He assured me that Chris would be able to install our water heater the same day. (Sat) Chris arrived at our home & was very polite, professional & considerate & wearing a mask. He looked at the space he had to work with & said he could get the job done in about two hours. True to his word, he completed the job very efficiently! This was not an easy task, we have a tri-level home & the space for the water heater was tight. He was very professional, showed us his work when he was finished & went over what we needed to know about the new water heater. He cleaned up the area & you would have never known he was here. He also re-plumbed some water lines leading to the heater & brought us up to code. We greatly appreciated this entire service from start to finish & In highly recommend this company. My 18 year old 50 gallon hot water heater gave out late on a Saturday evening, “Naturally!”I went on line to look for a replacement service and found “Macomb Water Heater” which was very close to home and was available 7 days a week.I placed a call at 6:05 Sunday morning and by 9:45 IVAN, my installer arrived at my door with a new Rheem water heater.Installation went smoothly and was completed by 11:30 with clean up and removal of the old water heater.Very professional and efficient, well done!P.S. As it happens, my daughter’s hot water heater failed a couple of days after mine, so I recommended she call “Macomb Water Heater” and she got the same great service

I contacted Macomb Water Heater on Wednesday about replacing my hot water heater. I was able to obtain an immediate quote over the phone from John. Although he told me he could have someone out the same day, I set up the time for Thursday. I received a call on Thursday morning saying the installer was arriving in 25 minutes. Sure enough Chris arrived right at that time. Chris was very professional. He came in to check out the area for the new tank. He told me he would be there about 2 hours and he would have it all completed with the new tank connected. Chris finished up in the 2 hours and went over all the operational functions of the tank from re-lighting the pilot as well as adjusting the temp if needed. We took care of the bill at the end and the price quoted to me by John was exactly the final price I paid. I would recommend Macomb Water Heater to anyone in need of any repair or replacement work. Left a message at 6AM and Ivan called back immediately. He gave me a firm installed price on a quality 50 gallon water heater. Lower than the price of a 40 gallon from competitors.Around 9 I ordered up the job. He said they would arrive between Noon and 3. I asked if he could be sure it was after noon and Ivan said how about between 1 & 4. That was perfect in that I didnt have to leave work early.Stan arrived a little after 1:30. He was gone by 3 and the install was done completely and professionally. No clean up needed on my part and the price was exactly as quoted. After some research I found that Macomb Water Heater had the best price for my project of replacing my water heater. I contacted them on Tuesday in the evening by email and I got a call on Wednesday at 9:30 am saying that the installer was arriving in 15 minutes. I have to say that Chris was very patient since I had a lot of question about brands and why this and that and he answered everything very professionally. I can’t remember when I’ve been as impressed with a service provider. I called today about a new water heater. Ivan answered all my questions and was helpful, friendly and professional. He said they could install a tank today. They called when they were on the way. Chris was the installer. He was also friendly, professional and fast. Incredibly quick and helpful! My water heater broke late at night and my warranty company had no service provider that would help replace it. My hot water heater went out in the middle of the night and when I called Macomb Water Heater first thing in the morning they told me they could be out by noon to replace it. I read lots of reviews on most purchases, especially the larger ticket items so that brings me here. Close to 500 5-star reviews, lots of them mention Chris by name. I gave them a call (3:30pm), expecting someone possibly in a week. They tell me they can be out today between 4:30 and 6:30 with a courtesy call 30 min out. Thats exactly what I got!! I really would like to give them 10 stars if I could. Called them at 3:30 for an estimate, agreed upon rate, they had a crew there by 5:00 and installed by 7:30. Needed some extra fittings, copper, soldering, etc. and no hidden costs or extra charges. Fantastic service and very happy with results.

A couple of things before I get to the actual service. Made an appointment for 9AM on a Sunday. Got a call at 9am saying they would be there in 45 minutes. Annoying but not deal breaking since its Sunday and I had nothing else to do. I was quoted a price of $1350.The website had a special for $950. I was told later this was for electric heaters only and didnt apply to me but nowhere on the special did it say that. Also told that shouldnt be on the site anymore as that is an old deal. Hmmmm. The marketing could be a bit more......accurate. Onto the service. Duke was my technician. He was extremely professional and timely. The whole job was done in just over an hour and everything looks and runs great. I am giving 5 stars based solely on him and his work. He salvaged what would otherwise have been a mediocre review. I called Macomb Water Heater and had a nice new water heater installed the same day before 3pm. Stan completed a neat, quick install. After how well this went, I then order a new toilet from a local home improvement store and Macomb Water Heater installed that as well. Nick worked to install the toilet and was neat and quick as well, the whole process was completes in less than 2 hours. I would highly recommend this company and their installers for you plumbing request, 5 STARS!!
Patt did an excellent job in a timely manner. Had to reroute the plumbing on the unit due to poor installation by prior installers. Called at PM 5 on Tuesday and showed up before 9 the next day. Would highly reccomend this company! Patt has obvious experience in gas, plumbing and water heaters.
Hot water tank went out and I called three other companies for quotes and possible install times. Macomb Water Heaters prices were very close to the other companies, but the difference was they were the only ones able to come out within a few hours and replace my hot water tank. Absolutely 5 star service! They arrived on time. Brought my system up to code by replacing the gas valve, and changed the exhaust pipe from 3 to 4. They also replaced a defective cold water faucet to the heater.All of this was included in the price. Stan was the technician who did the work and he was very professional and thorough. He installed the new water heater and removed the old one and took it away.I definitely recommend Macomb Water Heater and will use them for any repair I need in the future they perform.

We woke up Monday morning to a broken water heater. After calling several places in the area Macomb Water Heater was able to come out that day and was the most affordable. Chris was the installer, he arrived at 5pm. Chris was friendly and efficient, the whole job took him under an hour and half even with having to do a few extra adjustments with our old house. We were beyond pleased to have hot water back Monday night for an affordable price.

I called and left a voice message to request a service to replace my leaking water heater at 7:30 AM on Saturday. I got a call back before 8:00 to help me schedule the same-day service, and the technician Ivan came 5 minutes earlier than the promised time 9:30. Ivan was punctual, friendly, strong, knowledgeable, and meticulous to not leave a mess during his service.
My water heater had a very slow leak so I called for a quote on a new one. Within a couple minutes I had a firm out the door price quote, everything included. The installer was at my door within an hour and a half. His name was Chris and he did an excellent job. I wanted to learn a little bit about how water heaters are installed so Chris explained a few things as he was working to expand my DIY knowledge. Job was done in 1.5 to 2 hours. I would highly recommend this company and I would ask for Chris to come out and do the install.

I rarely give 5 stars as there is always room for improvement, however there is nothing but good to say about Macomb Water Heater. I woke up to no hot water on the first day I could take a shower after surgery 5 days ago as well as the day before Thanksgiving. I found this company and have honestly never seen so many 5 star reviews, so I read many of them, then called. It was very early, yet they called me back in minutes. They were in my door within 2 hours and had a new tank installed in 90 minutes. Paul was extremely professional, knowledgeable, listened to questions carefully, and proceeded to install effortlessly. He cleaned up, removed the old tank, explained warranty fully, asked if we had any questions, made sure we knew how to reach them, thanked us for our business and left. In 30 minutes, I will be in the shower. I an thankful there are still some honest, fair priced businesses that value excellent customer service. Seems many of the honest and fair priced ones dont respond or dont show as scheduled. That is not the case here. They also do plumbing and HVAC-good to know!!

Needing a new water heater, (after DTE had been out 3 times in one week because the water heater couldnt stay on), I contacted Macomb Water Heater on a Saturday evening, around 6 pm...to my surprise someone answered the phone. I had just finished talking with the company that represents Home Depot...that company wanted approx $2000 for the install. Macomb Water Heater not only quoted me a price $700 less, but they scheduled me the next day, on a Sunday. That was exceptional. The technician, Chris, arrived promptly and went about his business in the most professional way. My bill was exactly what I was quoted and Chris went above and beyond to assure customer satisfaction.Three weeks later, I received at letter from their office, thanking me and listing the other services they offered. I was having difficulty positioning the dryer in my small laundry room due to the position of the gas valve. I also wanted to attach a more efficient vent connecting the dryer to the vent. I called on Thursday and requested an appointment for Saturday. One other plus about this company.. the window in which you need to be available is very reasonable, no four or five hour windows. at least that has been my experience. I was told my technician would arrive between 9am and 10 am. Sure enough...he arrived within the promised time. It was nice to see the same person that had installed my water heater, Chris. He had a great solution for the needed modification. The work was completed to my satisfaction at a fair price. Kudos again to MWH and Chris...definitely my go-to company.
Ive had to turn off my mains water supply for the past 4 days due to a broken outside water spigot. Ive called several plumbing companies but all failed to show up or were just plain rude. I contacted Macomb Water Heater this morning and was pleasantly surprised when I was told a technician will come to check it out in a few hours. Chris showed up at the agreed time and quickly fixed the problem. He was professional, courteous and very knowledgable. The front office was excellent too. You just got yourself a customer for life.
Same day service. Installed quickly. I called a few plumbers who wanted more money to install on a Tuesday then Macomb Water heater wanted to install on a Sunday. The price isnt higher because of day or time. Only thing I didnt like was on the phone they said warranties are usually 10 years on a heater. I assumed they would give me a 10 year warranty. It was only 6 years.
Called for water heater replacement around 3:00 and by 5:00 the job was completed and I had hot water. This company is awesome and Chris is fantastic. The entire process was flawless and the price is extremely fair. The workmanship provided by Chris was excellent. Chris installed a new shutoff, increased the size of the vent and made sure everything was level and plumb. When the job was finished Chris made sure there were no gas or water leaks. I am very pleased with the new water heater and will certainly use this company and Chris in the future. If I could give 10 Stars I would.

Macomb Water Heater had the lowest prices and excellent service. I called a few reputable places for quotes. They were about $150 below the mainstream. I cant say enough good things about Chris, the installer. Very polite, fast, and professional. He checked the gas line connections, found and repaired a small leak. He replaced a gas valve with a new updated design. After the installation, he took time to explain the operation and diagnostics on the new hot water heater. How we benefit is their operation moves a high volume of water heaters and use installation specialist that are very efficient at what they do.
Unbelievable. I found out 10:30pm my old Water Heater was bad. I called at 8am the next morning and by 9:30 Chris was here to install a new one. This is going on while I had painters in the morning as well.Chris was quick, polite, and very professional. He took the time to go over the operations of the new unit. Macomb water heater sent out Stan the next day after I called I got the best price out of three previous bids. Stan single handily blew our job out in four hours. He not only replaced our old tank 40 gallon tank to a 50 gallon he relocated it across the room. He had to install in a crawl space new gas water, electric and chimney liner. I’m very happy with the work, the speed and quality that it was done. You can’t go wrong with these guys I give them a big thumbs up!
Just had my water heater decide to go on vacation mode (on its own) and called for help. Chris got it fixed (but told me he was not sure for how long since the unit was old). All I can say is awesome service and best price around. Got home from work last night and found hot water tank leaking. I shut the water and gas off and waited till morning. I called around and got a few quotes and stumbled across Macomb. No one else could get out till tomorrow and all of the other prices were higher. When I called Macomb they said they could be out in a few hours and they gave me a timeframe and they were here. The installer (Patt) was quick, professional, and friendly. Could not be happier with the service from Macomb Water Heater. We called mid afternoon on a Sunday and the installation was complete about 5 hours later (8:00 pm). The installer was very professional and had the new water heater installed in about 1 1/2 hours. He also cleaned up any mess, in fact, I think our basement was cleaner than it was before he arrived.

Thank you Macomb Water Heater and technician Chris for taking care of replacing our water heater the same day!! I called at 11:30, and Chris arrived at 1pm! Had they not been so responsive, I would have had extensive water damage in my finished basement, but they were able to come so quick that NOTHING was damaged from the water leaking (from our broken water heater). Chris replaced our water heater in 2 hours and he even went out of his way and replaced old valves/pipes (which was not part of the original estimate), and did not change the original quote at all. He then took the time to explain how the water heater works and how to light the pilot and how to troubleshoot/who to call if there’s an issue with any of the labor or parts. AND when going over the paperwork to finish the water heater replacement, I mentioned an issue I have been having with leaking under my kitchen sink and Chris repaired to to where it’s no longer leaking! Chris was very professional and would definitely refer Macomb Water Heater to anyone looking to get a repair/replacement water heater! Same day installation of replacement for broken hot water heater. Better availability and less expensive than our usual plumber for the exact same water heater (Bradford-White). Patt was our installer. He arrived early and worked non-stop until the job was finished, cleaned up, and provided me with operational overview.
Excellent service and fair pricing. Paul installed new water Hester for quoted price and there was extra work involved. He arrived almost within an hour of my call. Very friendly and I was very satisfied with the work done. Will definately call them for any plumbing work work needed in the future.

We are very impressed with Macomb Water Heater and Chris, the man who installed our water heater on 12/28/2018. We have been trying to determine what type of water heater our house requires and obtained numerous, numerous quotes. Knowing other people in the industry as well, we really werent going to obtain as many quotes as we did. However, after months of research all signs pointed to Macomb Water Heater. Excellent service and honest! Paul did a great job and I’m now in hot water again! He looked at my hot water tank and let me know the price up front because it was a bigger job. They are very reasonable! I know because I had talked to 4 different services and did my research. I will call them again!
Tankless water heater went out so I called around and Macomb Water Heater beat everyone’s price for a switch from tankless to gas water heater. I had them come out the next morning and Chris did a great job. Very professional.
Scheduled a water heater replacement and I was able to get a new unit within 36 hours of initial call (they offered same day but it was my schedule that couldn’t accommodate same day). Chris was excellent and even moved some ventilation ducts to improve upon placement of water heater. City Inspection went well the next week. This was a dream - could not have gone more smoothly!
I highly recommend this company! I called in the morning and Chris was out within the hour. He unexpectedly had to install a gas shut-off and replace the water valve, but the price remained what was quoted on the phone. Very happy customer!
This has to be the most meaningful review I think Ive ever written. I found myself in a jam after my water heater decided to leak at the same time my husband was out of town. I called Macomb Water Heater after reading great reviews, and within the hour Ivan arrived and inspected the leak. A 10/10 for professionalism, understanding, cost, and for overall taking the burden and leaving me worry-free. Not to mention I was quoted a pretty phenomenal price! The option was given to me to do a same-day installation, however I decided to schedule the installation of a new water heater for the next morning. Called them for water heater replacement last Saturday morning. They came out same day with in a couple hours and installed it.They gave me the best price compared to DTE contractors, home depot, and Lowes. This company sent an experienced installer who completed the work, cleaned the place and made sure every thing was according to city code. Awesome work. Was originally going to get a new water heater installed. But after meeting with Chris, he said that my current water heater still had several years of life left. It is hard to find honest people that will do what is best for you in your current situation, but Chris and Macomb Water Heater, will be my future go to plumbing company when I need them. From the moment contact was made the experience was great! Last night I noticed my water heater was leaking from the bottom, after doing some searching online I came across Macomb Water Heaters information & naturally started reading the reviews (as Im sure we all do!). They had great reviews from customers so I decided to send a quick inquiry via text then my boyfriend did a follow up call a few minutes later (we wanted to get a quote & as much information before all places were closed for the evening).John picked up immediately so we advised what our dilemma was along with what size tank I was looking for (I wanted to upgrade from a 40 Gallon to a 50 Gallon). He cut right to the chase & listed what services they would provide, the brand of water heater they would use (which another company didnt disclose to me until I called them back to ask), warranty timeframes, & the cost of it all. I requested a text be sent with all of the information he stated, which was received in less than 5 minutes after our call had ended.I will say the cost he had given was different from what was listed on their website. John did explain what the difference between the two was... The listed price on website (at the time) was for an electric water heater so it was cheaper than the quote he had given me for my gas unit due to less labor & the actual tanks are cheaper because there arent as many mechanical features on them (gas piping, etc...). I did however notice their website had been updated this morning after we pointed out the gas prices werent listed - Great job with the fast update!I scheduled an appointment with John & specifically requested Chris or Stan as I read numerous reviews & their names kept coming up as being the technicians most reviews were in reference to. John confirmed via text that Chris would be out to my home anywhere from 9-11. It was a very simple process. John & I had communications regarding random questions I had (as this is my first time having to get the water heater replaced), until Chris arrived.Chris was very nice, professional, courteous, & did a great job explaining a lot to me! I had questions that came to mind while he was replacing the unit & he answered them with no hesitation. Same day appointment, Paul did an absolutely amazing job. He was on time, clean well spoken and VERY helpful. The company only charged $790.00 and that was for a new water heater and installation and they took my old water heater.I will definitely recommend them to all of my friends and family.
Called these guys Monday morning to replace a water heater, and they were here and done by that afternoon. When I told them what I needed I was expecting them to say, “How does Thursday work?”. Instead, no waiting or doing without hot water for few days. All the people were cordial, from the fellow on the phone to the technician, Chris. I might add, another bid I got was $350.00 more. Nothing like waking up on a freezing February morning to a busted hot water heater. After panic-calling several companies, we chose Macomb Water Heater to replace ours because they were competitively priced, local, and friendly. Home depot wanted $250 more for the exact same product and service. I called MWH at 8:40 in the morning and by noon, we had a brand new unit installed. Our technician, Paul worked quickly, was very friendly, and kept our home spotless. Hopefully I wont have a plumbing emergency for a very long time, but I will definitely use this company again if I do.

Sunday, January 13, 2019. If I could give them 10 🌟 I would! I called them at 10:30 Sunday morning and explained to them that my mother in law’s water heater exploded. By 2:30 Sunday afternoon the old water heater was removed, the new one was installed and there was hot water. I can’t begin to describe the great experience that I had with Ivan the installer. He was courteous, knowledgeable and very respectful. There were other companies that I got in touch with before Macomb Water Heater and they quoted me between $100 to $500 more than I paid and couldn’t come out earlier than maybe Monday. I will definitely call them before anyone else in the future.
Macomb Water Heater deserves the 5 star rating they have. Price was much better than the big box stores. Technician Chris did an amazing job replacing my old water heater, and had to deal with a leaky water valve too. Hard piped all the way to the unit. I highly recommend Chris and the Macomb Water Heater Co.
Paul installed my hot water heater. He was so professional, kind and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this company. The ability to call until 9 pm, especially if you work during the day, and have someone answer to schedule an appointment is a plus above other companies with an answering service. I went with this company based upon other online reviews. You cannot go wrong, especially if Paul does your installation. I cannot say enough good about him. What a pleasant experience in what could be a major headache!
I had an issue with my thermostat on the water heater and after calling for help Chris came over within a half hour and installed a new thermostat. He was neat and cleaned up after he was done and was detailed in things to do to keep giving the water heater a longer life which I appreciated.
My water heater was failing and the last hing you want is to go without hot water. Chris was my technician. He was wonderful!!! I called at 4:00 to ask questions. I was given a price over the telephone and told that someone could be at my house in two hours. It was only about an hour before Chris arrived at the door. The work was done quickly and neatlyAt the end, chris showed me how to operate the tank and answered the questions I had in a matter which I could readily understand. He also explained that I should the tank the next morning for leaks or gas odors. But, there should not be any problems. I was given numbers to call if there were issues. This company was great to work with! We had a problem with our water heater in between Christmas and New Years and called them late in the afternoon. They called us back and we were able to schedule a replacement for the following morning.After the water heater was replaced we discovered a small leak in our basement that was unrelated to changing the water heater. Despite it not being their fault they were able to come and fix this issue as well.We dealt with Ivan on the phone and he was reassuring along with being professional. Paul did the install work for us and was quick and courteous. Overall a great experience!

2022-02-18I called the company at 4:45pm on Thursday after finding out my ancient water heater was leaking. They were able to get me the first appointment of the day the next day! Despite a major snowstorm the contractor arrived at 9:35am (exactly as promised). He removed the old tank and replaced it as well as replaced some piping and added new gas and water shutoff valves and was done by 11:45! He walked me through how to relight the tank, what the different light patterns indicated, and made sure I knew where the owner manual was and who to call in case of emergency. The estimate I was quoted on the phone was the exact amount I was charged. Honestly I was totally blown away by the level of service and professionalism of this company! My parents are also in need of a new water heater and I made sure to refer them here. I HIGHLY recommend Interstar/Macomb Water Heater!!

They were fairly priced, timely, and professional. The gentlemen that came out, Patt, did an excellent job! 2022-04-06My water tank started leaking the evening of 4-6-22. I called Macomb Water Heater and spoke with John. We discussed my water heater and he gave me a quote over the phone. He said he would have his technician installer there by 9 to 10 A.M on 4-7-22. My technician was Stan and he was a really great guy to work with. He did an outstanding job with my installation and cleaned up everything before he left. I could not even tell he did any work except for looking at the beautiful new water tank. He cleaned everything up and Im extremely happy with my water heater and Stans installation work. I will absolutely call Macomb Water Heater for future plumbing work.

2022-05-29Chris did a fantastic job !! He came to my rescue !! my hotwater tank decided to stop working and me and the kids had no hot water for showers. We were upset with the big holiday a pond us Tomorrow Memorial Day and in fear that noone would come out to fix it....do to the holiday and all. He fix and re place the sensor and it is working now. 2022-07-27Very impressed how quickly and professional the technician Stan was. He replaced my bad hot water tank, drained and disconnected the old tank then hauled it to the Home Depot where I needed to do a warranty replacement. He even went and got the new tank in the store and brought it up to the service counter where I doing the warranty replacement at to speed the process up. All in all job was done in a few hours and at a reasonable price. I highly recommend Macomb Cooling and ask for technician Stan to get the great service I received!

2022-05-24Its very rewarding to do business with someone who cares about their work and customer care and does a very professional job. Called Macomb Water Heater just before 10.00 a.m. with questions about a leaking water heater and Chris was here by12:30p.m. to do an assessment. Turns out we needed a replacement which he did and completed within a couple of hours.....including rerouting pipes and fixing vents. Before he left he throughly explained the details of the new heater and made sure everything was in proper order. Very impressed with Chris work and the service received from Macomb Water Heater. Price was exactly as quoted even though it required some replacement fixtures and adjustment. Job was completed by 12PM with work area clean.
