If the light should come back on, they won’t charged the diagnostic but will replace the switch and charge me for the switch. GOOD DEAL!

Comment: Cruz, the service adviser, was great. However, the rest of the process wasnt so great. They did the diagnoses and said the cam position sensor was bad. They didnt have any stock. Took almost a week to get one. Turns out in the end they put the old one back in because it wasnt bad. No one apparently knew how to actually test it would be my guess.Then they said it was the ECM. They had to order that as well. More waiting time. Once the ECM was put in, it was supposed to be test driven. Took almost all day to accomplish that minor task. Ultimately the service manager had to do it.When I finally came back to get my truck, it was filthy! It was clean when I took it in. Never had a dealer return a vehicle that dirty before. Also, the ECM they put in, which was under warranty, was a REFURBISHED module. (a repaired piece of someone elses problem). That didnt make me happy but I just wanted my truck back. It was in there for about 10 days.

Comment: The service was decent but the cost was way too high even with my GM coupon. Since I bought this car on 2017, Maita Chevrolet has been the only dealer did services on this car. For general and routine maintenance never costed me over $140.00 per service. I got ripped off this time charging me over $180.00 and that even with the $30.00 discount coupon I got from GM. I tried to talk to the casher lady but of course she had no authority to do anything, the service rep has gone home already. I had to paid in order to get my car home.Having saying all this, I am very disappointed of how I got over charged for the same work, same request, and same products that Maita Chevrolet had always done in the past with Mobil1 Synthetic Oil.

When I made the appointment on the phone I tried to share what I wanted done with my car and the rep let me know that was not needed and I would go over things with the service person and let me know where and who that would be. When I arrived for my appointment I was greeted quickly. The rep I was working with was so quick to check in the car I was not asked what I was there for. When I saw on the computer that he was setting up an oil change I then had to ask him what I was being checked in for. After we then discussed what I needed I was shown a very high amount for some inspections, along with the frustration I was getting from the rep. At that point I had no trust left for leaving my car with the place and left feeling like a waste of time and gas. Also impacting the person I had follow me to be my ride home since I would have been dropping off my car. I already avoid going to the dealership when possible. This just adds to why I don’t.

Comment: Always good. Disappointed this time that they told me I needed a new cabin filter when there was only 30K miles when I replaced the old one. Typically they are changed every 30-45K miles. My pick only has 43K and the filter was replaced 2 oil change services prior. Makes me wonder (just saying) if they even checked it as the items in the glove box were not disturbed and I know the glove box items need to be removed in order to get to the screws in the glove box in order to remove the glove box and then check the filter. And for what they wanted to charge to replace it I will just do it myself.

Comment: The service advisor personally called me about an issue I had with my transmission and so we set the up the appointment for we could test drive my truck first thing @ 7am, reason being is that I needed to catch a plane at 10am for work, I show up and Im told my service advisor is on vacation and that no one can see me until 8. Thankfully Vincent came out and understanding my frustration acknowledge me and my concerns grabbed my keys and told me catch your flight and he would take care of everything.

Comment: I took my 2017 Chevy Silverado 4wd LT to Maita for a warranty issue. I had an appointment with my regular service advisor Vincent. Vincent was on top of the issue ASAP! He kept me updated throughout the process. Eventually, the warranty issue was resolved. The repairs were done, and I got my truck back in a timely matter. Vincent is a friendly, knowledgeable and experienced Maita service advisor. I only take my truck to him when it needs to be serviced. Vincent is very professional and genuine. Maita should be very happy that they have Vincent on their payroll.

Comment: The service guys Alfredo and Abdul are always great. I make sure I do all my maintenance on time with them. I purchased a certified pre-owned 2013 Tahoe from them 7 years ago. And I want to keep my tahoe for years to come. Its more expensive by taking it to the dealership for servicing, but I feel like it adds more value to my vehicle, and all of my maintenance records are kept in there file in case I ever want to sell it I have proof of the up keep.

Comment: I called and set an appointment and was told that not only was my battery under warranty but that there would also be no charge for service; out the door, no cost. Upon arrival, I was told otherwise by Alfredo who seemed bothered by the wrong info provided over the phone. Alfredo mentioned several times that he was “eating the cost” and “coming out of pocket”. He was clearly irritated and when I asked questions he appeared to be inconvenienced.We had been customers of Brian’s Shortridge’s for years. His customer service was always top notch. Unfortunately, our experiences since his departure have been sub par.

Comment: Purchased a new 2007 Aveo in 2007 from Maita Chevrolet. At 5,000 miles, still under warranty, the 5 speed manual got stuck between 3rd and 5th gear. Maintain service manager assured me that they would have their best transmission mechanic work on it right away. 2 weeks later, the car was still in the spot where I had parked it. When they finally got it fixed, I was driving the Aveo to work, Travis AFB, and I heard grinding and could not shift. I looked under the hood and the drivers side engine mount bolt broke. The mechanic failed to install the second bolt. Me being a Machinist/welder/mechanic, I had the car towed to Travis AFB, removed the engine mount assembly and machined it out to accept 3/4 grade 10 aircraft bolts and nuts. They will never touch another vehicle of mine.

Comment: I have the drivers side lower bezel replaced it had previously cracked and I have previously purchased the part a month ago $400 and was given an estimate that it would be about $100 to put it on fast forward a month later when I took the car in to get it serviced the estimate to put the part on the seat was $190 and so I questioned them what is your hourly rate and she said its just one price that they charge and I said no Im not paying that since you went back to the mechanic went to the service side he lowered it down $40 $255 and it still was not satisfied because I still was not giving the hourly rate which it only took exactly 1 hour and I should have he should have honored $100 that he quoted me a month ago I have planned on contacting the bar bureau of automotive and repair shes looking to the over pricing even going from 190 down to 50 you know they charge whatever they want to which is not right or customer service to the clients that we have been coming for years I have bought three Chevys for them

Comment: I had an issue with my calipers that pretty much prevented me from driving. So I had it towed to maita. They ordered the parts they needed to fix the issue and did it in a timely manner. But my issue was that they also did an oil change and they forgot to clear the sensor and didnt even put the sticker for my next appointment. Idk about you guys but I need reassurance that they did what they were suppose to.

Shafil Sahib texted me back this morning and I have an appt next week to bring the truck in.I took my 2013 Silverado for recall of the Takata airbag. When they fixed the recall they damaged the dash board. Now there is a 6 hole near where the air bag is suppose to come out of the dash board. I can no longer leave anything on the dash board because if the item falls in the hole, I may not be able to get it back out. I have texted my Service Advisor, Shafil Sahib, about the issue 2 times and he said he would discuss it with his Service Manager. On the third time I texted him he did not respond back. I am very disappointed on how they handled, or have not taken care of this issue. Very unprofessional.

The last service was for warranty work, so I do not believe I could have gone anywhere else or would have. It seems they do the bare minimum and send you on your way, 4 days later with no updates, no calls, even after leaving multiple messages and calling multiple times to see what the status was. I was told the warranty covered the issues and that I would get a rental if it took long. 4 days and no status calls later, I had to call to pick up my vehicle. Not sure if they even completed the repair as the paperwork states they couldnt reproduce the issue. Then why did it take so long!? I struggled for 4 days without a car for the paperwork to state they didnt find the issue. Issues with this dealership started the day I bought the vehicle. Will not return unless absolutely necessary

Alfredo Sandoval called Chevy to see if they could help me with some of the cost. I only paid $82.92!!!!! Alfredo went above and behind with his customer service. Its nice to know people still care. I attempted unsuccessfully in contacting my advisor from 1p until finally speaking to advisor B. Short ridge @430p. He nonchalantly stated that due to employee shortage, my work order was not selected to be processed and my vehicle was not served until the following day. I was NEVER informed of such lack of workers/possible service delay. My wife and I were forced to make alternative transportation for an engagement. I will not refer any friends to Maita.
