Called in to place take out order at 825pm, was told if I couldn’t be there in 10 minutes they couldn’t take my order?!?!? I told the young lady I could be there in 15 min I was already on my way, and asked her to please reconsider... was told NO! If you close at 9 pm , I would expect a business to honor 9pm. Very disappointed, I really love y’all’s food but damn the service! Just bad way to handle customers!

Ordered 2 salads for lunch, got home both salads were screwed up. Made a call was placed on hold for awhile, hung up and called back, lady says please wait for manager, on hold again........minutes later....Manger listens to complaint and hangs up. Call back again, manager says bring them back in and we will remake them ( rudely). So after all this they act as if im the one that made them wrong and have a problem with eating them pshhhh. Im definitely not gonna trust them remaking me food also no one was wearing a mask.
This to be the worst employee in Clare who cooked our food. She was rude and overcharged me for everyone of the items. Ordered taco salad which was probably only edible part of 3 parts. The wings were cold and the 17.50 meathead 14 pan pizza was burnt top and bottom. No apology or solution for service or food. Last visit of this restaurant in Clare MI. Always enjoyed this company but this location ruined memories or return trip
Giving a 4 strictly for the food. The food was delicious! The restaurant itself looked dirty. The staff was extremely short as only 1 girl was working. I walked in a stood at the counter for 10 minutes before she said anything to me even tho she had seen me walk up to the counter. Not a hi or hello. Nothing. The food, luckily was very delicious.Great food. Poor staff. Dirty, outdated facility and nasty looking buffet.
On vacation we decided to stop and have lunch. Very terrible experience! Lady in her 40s is very very disrespectful. Rude to everyone who came in. Almost like she didn’t want the business. I will never go there ever again. Food was good but the rude employee totally ruined it for us. Do NOT recommend at all.
This is hands down worst experience of my life the older lady that works here extremely rude unprofessional she does not know how to talk to her staff correctly or costumers. I will never be returning here you can hear her yelling at her staff from the tables and it makes everyone in the restaurant uncomfortable
Walked in cashier was talking to friend or family member and other person was on there phone. Nobody was in the restaurant and almost every table was dirty. We actually wiped down our own table. Cashier didnt know soups they were serving this day and had to go to salad bar and look. Just extremely unorganized and very unprofessional. We are from out of town and enjoy going to Mancinos when we can find one. This is the worst I have ever seen. Management /Owners should be embarrassed at this location and should do retraining of employees. The food took forever and wonder if they were too busy on cell phones. Wont be recommending this location to friends.
Food is good but service is slow. I have to wait almost every time we order take out. If they tell you 20 minutes expect to wait 10-15 minutes longer.
Awesome food, Sizes are huge and customer service was great! Very clean restaurant, nice atmosphere. Lots of windows to look out of.
Stopped in on a few occasions passing through. The food is great, and the employees are wonderful. The kitchen & dinning room are amazingly clean, but the interior of the building needs some work. Needs updated & water damage by emergency exit needs repaired desperately.
Not sure what a happened to our favorite sandwich place? Very little meat on our large Italian with a a few pieces of mushrooms. I may give them one more try to see if it was an accident.Perhaps they use the meat they didnt put on my sandwich to make themselves or a friend a free sandwich?
Food was mediocre at best zero orders went out ahead of mine while i sat in the lobby for 53 min after being told 30 min. Only one employee working and she was busy taking orders. I am very disappointed. Mancinos is my favorite. Not today. It was a wasted $30 :(
Excellent, had a crab ginder n was very good, my son got a Cabazon n was perfect , lost of filling. ordered a side of chicken for my dogs n girl was kind to separate into separate dishes . brought to car for me during covid. will stop again when traveling north.
So disappointed in this Mancinos. Out of 3 grinders, only the pizza one had enough meat to speak of. The chicken bacon club was also lacking in vegetables. The steak was the same. We will not be returning.
I order a large hawaiian pizza, what I got was a large crust with a medium pizzas worth of toppings that tasted of lettuce and charcoal.
Food was great, if you dont have to dine in dont!! We stopped on a Monday around 2:30 pm, the trash was so full we couldnt even throw our trash away. Ask for parmesan to put on our pizza was handed a parmesan bottle that was nearly empty, what was left in there, was molded to the bottom.
I got the Italian grinder (YUMMY!) and my wife got a Pizza grinder and ate it all gone like wham blam !!! Excellent grinders.... like nobody else makes! Go get yourself one today!!! Youll be glad you did!!!!!!!!!!!😁👍
If I could give no stars, I would. Just drove here to place an order. Drove past and the 2 employees were cleaning and had the “open” light off. I arrived at 9:18. Mind you, they are supposedly “open” until 10:00pm. Decided to call and see what was going on and neither of the employees answered the phone. Can’t believe a company would allow employees to work here letting them close over 30 minutes early. NEVER will I go here again.
I love this place the service is awesome and the people are kind and u can tell they enjoy their job. On one occasion though the salad bar was running low a little and some of the tamatos and lettuce werent very fresh. Anything else I gotta say was amazing
Excellent and quick service even though they are usually busy. Everything on the menu is good. The only thing keeping it from five stars was cleanliness. Floor was dirty but the tables and chairs were not.
Today June 9, 2020. Havent been here in a few months now, ordered a 1/2 Ham & Cheese Grinder, well they BANG YOU 3% for a credit card WTH, Oh well, grinder 2/3 of the size BREAD, very little cheese, hardly NO lattice, tomato sliced so thin you didnt know it was on there, 1/4 slice of pickle. When it was table delivered I asked about potato chips, LADY said well sir YOU didnt order a COMBO, well I didnt order the COMBO as I had a coupon for a FREE 22 oz drink. So no potato chips, now if it were my business I would have gone back grabbed a hand full of chips put on a plate and KEPT the customer happy, but NO it could have cost them to much to keep a customer, and thats what they have lost today 1 CUSTOMER, now I get to write stuff like this, and tell everyone how it went. GEE, guess a hand full of chips to a customer was worth it. I tried to keep my business LOCAL, keep the money in the community, guess it was my mistake, should have went to the TURKEY ROOST, never again MANCINOS. Good Luck hope the cost of those few chips helps YOU make it in the business world.
I have visited this restaurant periodically while traveling over the last 15+ years. I had not been to this location in some time, and though the owner was friendly, the entire place was filthy. I was nervous to eat the food.
Had the steak grinder. Awesome.
Had the salad bar with pizza it was delicious. Staff was very nice.
My dad waited 40 minutes to take their food to go and the lady brought it to him on a plate. He said its to go. The woman then blew up and tossed his food back on the counter and started swearing. Then after all that he wanted his money back and she didnt even apologize. Never AGAIN.
Friendly service but they need to get better/fresher ingredients. Tasted like canned ingredients. Very bland tasting. Was a letdown for sure. Not the Mancinos I am used to.

When customers write their orders and employees are getting their own food kinda makes ya wonder who runs it! Jmo been in pizza business for many years and never would I allow that to happen. #1 is customer service without that ppl wont go back. And the bread is flat had better.
Mancinos is always one of those afterthought sort of options for me, although Im not sure why considering that I absolutely love their pizza grinders. If you havent given them a try, Id highly recommend that you do.
I grew up in the area, but moved to Tennessee years ago. Came back home to visit family over Memorial Day weekend and this was a must stop! Im almost 5 months pregnant and have been craving a ham and cheese grinder from Mancinos since the beginning of the pregnancy. The whole sub is amazing, but the bread is the best part. You cant get that just anywhere. We also ordered a Reuben, a tuna sub and a large order of fries. All was as I remembered it being!

Awful customer service. Rude employees. Ordered more than $50. Of food and 3/4 of order was wrong. When I called, was told that items I ordered werent on the menu??? I ordered straight from menu. No apologies, no solution. NEVER AGAIN.
None of the employees in the store were wearing masks. Given the state of the world, that’s highly disturbing and I’m nervous about eating the food.
Terrible customer service. Waited at the counter 15 minutes while my subs sat on the rack getting cold. Two employees were working on a party tray completely ignoring customers in the store. I paid almost 50 bucks for cold subs. Date of service 6/21/16.
Well the subs were good. But whoever cooked them the but was to crispy for me to eat, so its was ok but some people might like their buns that away
So I went to pick up my order and the lady who does the cash register is an older woman she asked if I wanted a receipt I replied no and as I was walking away she said “ what’s up with everyone’s attitude I think everyone needs to go home and go to bed” she was talking about me I thought how rude and maybe if people are giving you attitude it because your customer service is absolutely poor had I just not worked 16 hrs I might have felt like arguing she had a whole line of people and was talking on the phone I would definitely like to get ahold of someone above her because I mean I could always use another job
Arrived just before they closed for the night. We were able to enjoy the salad bar and they made us a pizza. Excellent service!

Didnt know streets had to give them directions an said well get it to you when we can 45 mins later had to call an the order was forgotten about. 2 times ordering from them getting rude staff an messing up orders an the manager saying oh well. I called 30 minutes before close and no one answered the phone. Drove there and one of there workers locked the door literally as I was walking up and said they were closed 20 minutes before closing time. I wonder if the owner knows how there workers operate there business, oh well. Im never going there again.

Clare Mancinos is Excellent in all regards. They have fantastic daily specials. Whats really great is when Im coming back from shopping I can call ahead and have my order ready when I come through Clare. All thumbs up!
Hair in grinder. Manager wasnt wearing hair net like the other employee. Manager never said a word to us. Like it was no big deal. Trashes full and dirt all over.Doesnt compare to st. Johns

2021-06-22I ordered carryout tonight, because we hadnt been here in forever. It was so good! It always has been. I really dont know why we dont eat here more often. The Grinders are fantastic and the pasta is total comfort food. We ordered the Beef & Cheddar Grinder that was on special, and the cheese sauce was perfect. I seriously think someone made that with love- definitely did not taste pre-made.

2022-05-17Placed an order during work lunch break. Waited longer than I had too just so I knew my food was ready. Spent 7 minutes of my 20 minute break driving there and they didnt even make my order. They wasnt even Bush, 3 workers and no customerbesidesmyself. They Started to make it after they realized, I told em nevermind I had to get back to work and the manager didnt apologize or anything. She just said ok then in a rude manner. Would not recommend this location to anyone

2022-07-05The food was good, but the service was horrible. There was only one other customer when we arrived. We placed our takeout order and proceeded to sit and wait. The staff was scream-talking to eachother, there was a YOUNG boy helping in the kitchen, and we watched as customer after customer was helped after us, but served before. Then, suddenly, the really loud lady came out to ask our name and found our lost grinder on the counter where it had been sitting for 10 minutes-our name was NEVER called. Before we were even out the door, we could hear them arguing about whose fault it was that our order wasnt called out. They did NOTHING to try and correct the mistake, just told my husband it wouldnt be cold yet and sorry. They could have offered to remake, reheat, given a coupon, chips, SOMETHING.

Both of us ordered a ham and cheese grinder tonight and it was hands down the best gringer ever ❤ when i called up they told me it was either the owner or izzy (sorry if i got the name wrong) who made them for us tonight. 2022-05-12I ordered the turkey club and got bread and lettuce. Not much turkey and no beacon. Also was charged more the online menu states for 18” sub. Sorry to say won’t return to this restaurant.

2021-11-04Dang! I havent eaten breakfast or lunch yet today and wont be ready to for about an hour... Just got off the phone with Mancinos and while a nice guy was trying to take my order, somebody was in the background who kept yelling at him and then finally told him she doesnt have time to do deliveries because theyre an hour out... Just so you know I wasnt going to be ready for an hour 😫 now I have to get pizza somewhere else. I should really be giving 1 * but the people Ive met there so far have been nice to me.
