Recently I purchased a Tempuredic bed from the Bloomfield location. Buying a mattress resembles the process of buying a car. You go from dealer to dealer and the prices are pretty much the same. What makes the difference is the relationship you build with your salesperson during the process.My salesperson Cameron was transparent during the process. He walked me through the ins and outs of buying a mattress. While going through this presentation I didnt feel pressured to buy. He encouraged me to shop around if I wasnt comfortable with buying that day. I did just that.During my journey when visiting the competitors their presentations were filled with inconsistent information about the product in addition it always felt like it was about the close.Long story short- his professionalism and honesty is second to none. Visit the location, ask for Cameron. He will take care of you.
I walked into the store in West Bloomfield, MI, thinking I knew exactly the mattress I wanted, said to Tony, I need a price on the XYZ mattress, to which he responded, “I wish more of my customers had your knowledge when they come in.”Well it turns out that I did in fact ask for the wrong mattress. Tony went out of his way to explain all types of mattresses, how they act on the body, the pros and cons of each mattress all the time not pushing me one way or the other. Two days later I returned knowing I would purchase a mattress from Tony and once again he helped me choose from the three mattresses I had an interest in. Although I went over my budget Mattress Firm gave me a good deal and I’m am excitedly waiting for delivery. I even bought a frame that is bottom lit!I higher recommend the Mattress Firm store in West Bloomfield MI and you certainly should ask for Tony.Tell him Dave sent you.

After having a disappointing experience with Macys and the lies of delivery day options I decided to give Mattress Firm a try. I was hesitant because I despise high pressure sales tatics which is what I was thinking in my mind. This turned out to be a a completely opposite experience. My salesman Shannon at the Bloomfield Michigan location was great and very easy to talk to and the 2 delivery guys were great as well. Both very friendly and polite. All around great experience.
Neal was very helpful and guided me through the entire process. I havent had the opportunity to sleep on my new mattress yet, but Im looking forward to a satisfactory trial period. Neil picked up that I was looking for a bargain and steered me to a higher quality mattress which was 50% off, so a great deal as well!
Holly was extremely knowledgeable and once she knew my sleeping positions was able to direct me to all the best mattress options. After trying several mattresses, I found the perfect fit at a competitive price. There was no rush and Holly was a great help along with being professional and very down to earth. Would definitely come back in the future 👍
Nate helped to educate and direct us based on our needs and wants. When we returned to purchase our mattress Holly was the sales associate on staff and was very understanding of any concerns that I had at the time. She did a wonderful putting my concerns to rest and made the purchase easy. Both were very knowledgeable and friendly. We got a mattress that fit our needs and are super excited. Highly recommend!
I had purchased a mattress from Mattress Firm in July, 2020. I wasn’t pleased with it. When I called I still had a couple of weeks left on my trial period so we went in and received quick attention and she offered a second choice to what I had selected and I still like the firmness of the first choice. She wrote it up and we left. The salesperson was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. Should I need another mattress in the future I would definitely trust the. Staff at Mattress Firm.
We got lucky with the mattress we picked being in stock! Also, we got a king for the price of a queen and a free powered base! Hit the jackpot if you ask me! Holly was awesome! Very knowledgeable about the products in the store and mattress comfort in general and sleeping type. We were the only customers in the store but she still gave us the perfect amount of interaction. Not too much, or too little.
Hi. I Just spent an hour at this store working with Holly, the Salesperson. What a great experience. She really knows her stuff and doesnt push for any sales. Just good information. Left with a great mattress at a great price, and a good understanding of what makes a good mattress. I left feeling good and I met a good person too. We were treated professionally & our questions were answered accurately. We were able to choose our mattress based on the info our salesperson provided to us and are very happy. I’d recommend Mattress Firm to anyone.
I purchased a queen size Nectar mattress from Mattress Firm. I received the mattress in the mail 6 days later. When I opened and removed the mattress from the box, I found out it was a king mattress. I called the next day and explained my situation. It took two and a half weeks to get an answer on how they were going to solve the issue. The simple solution of picking up the king mattress and shipping me a queen mattress, which should have been done day 1. During those two and a half weeks, I had a king size mattress I had to walk around in my studio apartment. I asked a couple of different times to have someone pick it up and get it out, but that never happened. I do not understand why it took two and a half weeks to implement a simple solution as this. I was told it was due to corporate policy and Nectar not responding. To me it seems like the policy should be get the incorrect mattress out of the home and get the mattress that was ordered to the home as quick as possible. Then the two companies deal with the return policy while your customer is happily sleeping in their new bed. I understand there are two companies involved, but I believe Mattress Firm needs to review their return policies and fix them, so no one else has to go through what I did.
Buyers Beware, spent over $4000 on a king size Purple 4 mattress only to experience the worst back and neck pain I’ve ever had while sleeping. This mattress was sold to me by the staff knowing both me and my spouse are side sleepers, after calling Purple Customer service I was informed that the 4 mattress is not recommended for side sleepers and is the reason for the back and neck pain. Mattress Firms customer service is absolutely terrible. The are refusing to exchange the mattress or do anything to help our situation, we’ve had the mattress for 8months and our problems have become worse with time so now we are stuck with making payments on a $4,000 mattress only to wake up every morning in pain and dread sleeping on the mattress. Both me and my spouse have been to multiple chiropractor and massage appointments because of this mattress. The Sale’s Persons Job at Mattress Firm is to sell a mattress that is right for the individual customer, instead of selling us a mattress that is great for side sleepers she decided to up sell us on the most expensive Purple Mattress. Mattress Firms Slogan is “Better Sleep, Big Savings” my experience has been “Worse Sleep, More Money” If you’re thinking of buying an expensive new mattress from Mattress Firm thinking it’s going to be the best sleep you’ve ever got, DONT. I slept much better on the $250 bed in a box mattress I ordered on Amazon.
I was looking for a new mattress because of ongoing back pain. I went to Mattress Firm and With so much to choose from, Holly the representative was so helpful. She did not try to sell me the most expensive mattress, instead she listened to my concerns and made a suggestions based on her experience. I am so Excited that my new mattress is in its way. I would definitely recommend the Mattress Firm store because you won’t get the High Pressure Sales Pitch.
I have been dealing with back pain for the last 40 years, I finally saved up some money and decide to buy a new mattress. I listened to the staff’s recommendation and spent $3000 on a beauty rest. The mattress was extremely soft and felt good when I laid on it in the store but the longer I’ve had it the worse my back pain has got. After so many nights of waking up in pain I finally decided to call Mattress Firm to see if I could return it or exchange it. They have refused to help me in any way. Now I sleep on my couch every night instead of the mattress I spent thousands on. Do your self a favor and do not purchase a mattress from this company, they do not stand behind there products.
Holly was able to help us out during a busy weekend shift to find the mattress that suited us best. She was able to work within our budget and were glad to hopefully have a mattress that will last a long time.Waited a few weeks for our mattress to be delivered due to delays in production due to COVID, however, the mattress didnt come with the free adjustable base that was included with the offer at the time of purchase.Through a couple of calls and online messages, we were able to get in touch with the warehouse that found a new shipment of bases to be delivered a few days later instead of the projected month or so after the mattress was delivered. Quickly remedied once brought to their attention.

I wanted to see a Purple mattress In person and to be able to see the entire line to test them out. I contacted the new store in Bloomfield Hills and spoke to the Area manager named Andrew. He stated that they carried the entire line in store. My wife and I went there today and met with him and tested out all of the purple mattress brand. Andrew was very knowledgeable about the brand and explain the type of mattresses available was not pushy and went through various accessories such as sheets, mattress protectors, and pillows that were available. I had never been to mattress firm before, however I was very impressed with the new store, the brands they carry and the service that I was provided. I would highly recommend mattress firm and Andrew in the new Bloomfield Hills store on telegraph. We can’t wait to try out our new Purple bed!
We had a great time mattress shopping here. Neal (the guy that helped us) was very patient with our questions and stayed after hours to help us make our decision. The selection we could choose from was also very expansive.
My wife and I bought a Purple 2 with adjustable base on 4/29/19. Ray did an awesome job detailing differences in technology and construction of different mattresses from different manufacturers. He asked some relevant questions about our current sleeping experience in order to help us determine the best option. Ray was extremely informative without pressuring us into a purchase and structured a great deal that we couldn’t refuse! Nice job Ray!
Employees are very poorly trained here, went in shopping for a new mattress after doing a small amount of research on what type of mattress would work for me and was disappointed when the staff was recommending more expensive mattresses that didn’t suite my needs. Seemed like there goal was to sell the most expensive product rather then selling me what worked best for me. Sad how many business don’t have integrity anymore and this Mattress Firm is definitely one of them.

PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND NEVER BUY FROM HERE OR ANY MATTRESS FIRM. For someone who has knowledge on mattresses for “10 years” we were sold a mattress based on what we were told all the way down to the way we sleep. We purchased a purple mattress level 4 over $4,000 only to find out after many chiropractor visits and massages the one we purchased is not made for the way we sleep. We bought the fancy $100 Tempur-pedic pillows a piece and the special $100 sheets only to be so disappointed. Clearly money was not the issue— The girl who sold this all to us was certain this was the best bed and made for any kind of sleeper only to find out through THE COMPANY PURPLE ITSELF that the mattress we purchased was NOT made for side sleepers and that’s where our problems are coming from they frowned upon it. Now 7-8 months into this with aches and pains (severe pains) and sleepless nights there is no effort from mattress firm to make this situation better. This place is an absolute joke they tell you what you want to hear and show you the door after they get what they want. If you have ten years of experience in something you should have knowledge in all aspects of the product you’re selling. So “clearly” That’s not the case sleep expert. TAKE YOUR MONEY ANYWHERE ELSE. I WOULDNT GIVE THIS PLACE A SINGLE STAR IF I COULD.

We were on the search for a full size mattress for our toddlers new bed. We found one on the mattress firm website. The website said Bloomfield hills had one in stock & ready for pick up. After one phone call to Neal at the Bloomfield Hills location, it was determined they did not have one In store, but without hesitation he located one at the Troy Location.Desmond at the Troy location had us in, out, rang up & loaded up within minutes of arriving. My toddler & I were back on the road without having to lift a finger.
I went here to find a mattress since my husband & I have needed one for sometime.Cameron was great, he took his time & asked questions to find us the perfect fit for us.We got a great deal & we only have to wait a week till its delivered unlike JCPenney(just over a month😳)Thank you & well definitely be back in the future.

I stopped in 3/23/19 to look at mattresses. Bill was very helpful and knowledgeable. He was able to break down the information in easy to understand language. I really like the no pressure sales technique this company has. They have won my trust.
I initially went in to check out the purple beds in person. It turned out those beds were not for me, the sales associate (Bill) then spent the next hour with me as we (almost literally) jumped from bed to bed until we found one that I found comfortable.The staff was very knowledgeable about the differences in the beds (memory foam, hybrid, interspring, etc). When I needed time to lay on the bed they (Bill) was more than accommodating in giving me my space as I moved to/from different beds.I think it would be worth going in if it was something someone was considering but remember there is a sale that is trying to be made at the end of the day.

Just met Neil. Unfortunately he has NOT been properly trained on materials and construction of mattresses & especially box springs. Does not know what is in a box spring or the purpose of one. No idea of densities of foam and the relationship to wear. How sad to give minimal training for $1500 & up beds.
I had an issue with my mattress I only had it less than a year I called mattress firm and they directly sent me to their website to file a warranty claim The claim only took two business days and they were back with an approval For me I went to the mattress firm in Bloomfield the manager there was excellent it took her less than a few minutes to direct me to a couple of mattresses and I found the right one it was quick and simple thank you mattress firm you’re the best

2022-06-16One of the best store in Michigan to buy mattresses. Sleep expert Rihab was so kind and helpful in assisting us to buy the perfect mattress. The staff is very patient and kind to help you out there. The store has almost all types and of all price range mattresses. It was a very good experience to buy the mattress from the store for the first time in USA.

The store had gotten new computer systems that caused a couple issues, but she stayed on top of it to ensure everything worked out as she said it would. Great communication from her and auto emails about delivery. Would shop here again!

2022-05-26Hands down best customer service Ive ever gotten. Youd expect a typical mattress salesman to be like a car salesman, however this is not the case. I was pleasently suprised with how i was treated through the whole process. I first bought a mattress for $1300 without reading the reviews until later that night, the next day i went back in an they cancelled the order and I upgraded to a $2300 mattress. Not only this but they offered 0% financing for 24 months, 10 year warrenty, and a 120 day price guarentee (Which i took advantage of approximately 30 days in when the memorial weekend sale knocked an additional $300 off the price tag, which was speedily refunded to my credit card account). Rihab youre an amazing salesman, best of your trade.

2021-11-07Excellent customer service by a sleep expert at the bloomfield hills location. he helped me find the right mattress that was within my budget. he asked questions about the way i sleep to determine the kind of firmness i would want in mattress to be comfortable. he checked and called a few locations so that i could pick it up myself instead of waiting days for delivery. the staff at the livonia location was also kind and quick in getting my correct mattress into my jeep. these guys are great! thank you
