Nick and Charley provided exactly what I had in mind for my wedding tux. They are very knowledgeable in their fields and have tons of recommendations. Excellent quality and great customer service !
I could not recommend Mazura Tailors more, Nick was a pleasure to work with! When I brought in a wedding days two weeks before the big day, Nick made the alterations within a week and they were absolutely perfect! The price was also very reasonable and I felt very safe given their covid-19 safety precautions. My fiance also had his suit tailored here for the wedding, and it was a perfect fit. Thank you, Nick!
I brought my dress in for alterations and wasnt feeling like it fit well. Instead of trying to show different ways to adjust the dress to help, Nick was antagonistic and insisted the dress was altered perfectly. I went back to where I bought my dress from thinking I just needed a different one. However, when I put on the dress that Nick altered, they noted issues with the tailoring. They suggested another seamstress. Nick has said to me that I could take it to any other seamstress and they would say his work was wonderful. He was so wrong, she noted he did the bustle poorly and cut corners, the bustier on my dress wasnt even close to fitting my body, the seams on the bustier didnt line up with the dress seams, the hips werent taken in as much as they should have been, and where it was taken in he didnt cut off the excess material so the dress was bunching in multiple places. Not only were my alterations at Mazura done poorly, but Nick argued with me instead of trying to have a happy customer. Worst $600 I have ever spent.
Upon reading Mazura Tailors reviews, I felt confident in bringing my wedding dress in for alterations. It needed quite a bit of work and was a sophisticated style, but Nick truly spent as much time as was needed to perfect the look. He was extremely professional throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, adhering to all safety regulations. We felt comfortable and cared for at all times, and will certainly be coming back with our special items requiring alterations!
Nick basically saved my wedding, by expediting a tailored suit for my now husband and altering my wedding dress. The level of skill, kindness and customer service is exceptional, and that doesnt even come close to explaining my experience. Nick recently altered my wedding dress & I couldn’t be happier! The work he did to alter the dress is flawless, as was when he altered a bridesmaids dress of mine previously. More importantly for me, his service is top notch! He did this for me very last minute & went above and beyond to be helpful. He is always so friendly & kind. I would recommend Mazura and Perfect Fit Tailors without any reservations. Nick redesigned the sleeves and bustle on my 1985 wedding gown for my daughter. He did a wonderful job and the dress is beautiful. He was creative, diligent, patient and a perfectionist. His pricing was very reasonable for all of the hours of work he put into this project.
Perfect Fit Tailors is hands down the quickest and most high quality tailor I have been to. I brought my wedding dress to Nick with some pretty major alterations and only 3 weeks to get them completed. Not only did he do an amazing job keeping the integrity of the dress (8 hours on the hem/train alone!), but he did it in 2 trips and with a week to spare! I was so impressed I’ve been back with several pairs of pants, a suit for my brother, and several items from my sister. He was professional quick and a delight every time. Highly recommend he for all tailoring needs!
Nick is wonderful! I brought in my wedding dress for some pretty big alterations. My dress had a lot of intricate beading all around the areas that needed to be taken in. Nick SEAMLESSLY got my dress to fit perfectly after two visits. He even went around the entire dress and tightened any loose beads. I was so impressed I sent my now husband to get his suit fitted with Nick as well. After two visits, the suit looked great and we both looked perfect on our wedding day 2 weeks ago... all thanks to Nick. I would recommend him to everyone and anyone. I wont go anywhere else for my alterations. Nick worked on my wedding dress and did an amazing job on it. I have a very detailed bottom of my skirt and he went the extra mile to make sure it was done perfectly and I couldnt have been happier. I will/have been recommending Mazura to everyone I know that needs alterations or custom tuxes. My fiancé is also going to him for his wedding tux. I cant say enough good things about my experience at Mazura!!
I am extremely pleased with my experience in getting multiple custom suits made for me and my groomsmen for my upcoming wedding in Brazil. Nick and Charlie are the best! I just picked up two custom suits from Nick at Mazura. I am impressed. I needed a new suit for my sons upcoming wedding and a friend recommended I try Mazura. I only was looking for one suit for the wedding but Nick showed me so many beautiful fabrics that I ended picking two! A pinstripe from Loro Piana and a nice plaid from Zegna. Nicks prices were very fair and his tailoring spot on. I’ve had other suits made and none have turned out as nicely as these. I strongly recommend Mazura! I’ll be back!
Mazura tailors did a fantastic job on my wedding dress in a very short period of time! I am so thrilled with his work, my mom even went to get her dress tailored too! He is so kind and goes above and beyond for his clients. He clearly knows what he’s doing too. My dress had to be taken in like a full 3 sizes, and it was no problem for him. Leaving my dress was scary, but I knew that I left it in good hands, and he did not disappoint. I’ll never go anywhere else for tailoring needs again. I highly recommend to get any tailoring job done here.

Nick saved my wedding day! I ordered a wedding dress online that was supposed to be made to my measurements, but when I got it, it didn’t fit right and looked frumpy. I was in a panic because I was leaving on vacation to elope in less than two weeks. My husband goes to Nick to tailor his suits and he’s very nice and professional and always does an amazing job. So I contacted Nick and he said he could alter my dress in time. It was done in only a week and it fit perfectly! I am so grateful he was able to help me on such short notice. I’ve used tailors across the country. This is a great place. Today I had something done to a pair of pants that I thought wouldn’t work. The owner assured me they could do what I wanted. It turned out better than expected. It turned out just how I wanted it. I highly recommend people check out Perfect Fit Tailors.PS. They also do custom suits. They send them out but you get to choose the fabrics, style and it gets sized specifically to you. Great option and he has great fabrics.
The absolute most AMAZING service you could ask for. I called Perfect Fit Tailors about 10 days prior to my wedding in pure panic because it was too baggy. Nick picked up the phone after hours and accommodated my dress in his busy schedule. He even finished it 3 days before the need by date. I went here to get a suit altered for a wedding around the corner. They were the only tailors who were ready turnaround the altered suit in under 4 days. Very reasonable price, and really fast service. I highly recommend them.

A fantastic experience from beginning to end. Ive never used a tailor before, so I had no idea what to expect. I came in with three pairs of pants. The owner was professional, extremely knowledgable, and very nice in a professional way.When I tried on my tailored pants, everything fit perfect and accurate to what he told me when I dropped them off. Brought in a tux for prom that was oversized and needed it to be done within days. Nick is very professional, listens to your needs, and knows what hes doing. Everything I asked for turned out perfectly as the tux was not only fitted extremely well but also finished on time. Price was very reasonable and well worth the trip as this was my first time going to a tailor. 100% recommended and will come back again.

No word count will do justice to just how great Nick is.Previously lived in NYC where I got accustomed to great tailoring. When I moved to Detroit I had some issues with other tailors and their quality. Got to calling around one day for a specific need. Nick was the first (and only) tailor who does the work I was looking for that day. Since then Ive come to go to him for all my tailoring needs and he has crushed everything - from shirt tapers through custom tuxedos.On top of all that Nick is just a great guy - always have a great time in the shop talking to him about anything and everything. Very much worth the half hour drive out (and the many tailors I pass on the way) from Detroit.
I went to Nick based on his positive google reviews. He earned every one of the five stars and any recommendation I can provide. I went to him between Thanksgiving and Christmas. His turn around time was extremely short despite the holiday rush. His measurements were right on and his prices were very moderate. On a separate occasion, I went to have a fitted baseball hat altered for my misshapen head. His modification resulted in one of my favorite hats to wear. I can’t recommend him enough.

I recently purchased a custom suit from Nick and I could not be happier. I was in desperate need and unable to find one off the rack that fit because of my build. It was extremely frustrating and Nick stopped everything he was doing in that moment and squared me away. He met the timeframe I required, helped me pick out all the fine details of the suit and made sure it was perfect for what I needed. Nick will truly will go above and beyond for you. Nick was absolutely amazing. He did my wedding dress it fit like a glove. So then we got groomsman shirts from a cheap Chinese website and they fit aweful. They came in the week before the wedding. He had them finished and perfectly fit in 3 days. He also said if we needed anything the week of the wedding he would do anything we needed same day. I can not give a higher praise to this man for his craftsmanship, work ethic, and customer service. He wasnt just doing a job, you could tell he was doing his passion and he was so excited to work on the garments and learn their backstory. The only negative I can come up with is I hate navigating citys the storefront was a little hard to find, but I didnt have trouble finding street parking right out front and there was a free lot around the corner. Nick is amazing! Ive taken a few dresses to him (last minute) and they turned out perfect! Hes very accommodating... hes sometimes open after hours also...he stays late and gets the job done! Just call the number on the website! 5 stars for sure!!!!!!
Just wow! I really cant say enough amazing things about Nick. I was in a wedding in September and and the week of, I tried on my bridesmaid dress and it was suddenly too big. I was almost panicked because it was so close but Nick not only calmed my nerves by promising to have in done in only a few days, but by taking time to make sure the fit would be perfect. And let me tell you... he exceeded my expectations. Not only was the fit spot on, he charged me almost half of what Ive paid for less work elsewhere. To top it off he refused to let me tip him. I wish I could send every person I know to him because he was just that good.

Amazing tailor, hes very professional in his work and the fit is custom-made to your body unlike other tailors Ive gone to, none of them pay attention to this much detail than Perfect-Fit! His prices are also competitive, Id definitely recommend you to get your tailoring done with him.
Nick is incredible. Ignoring the work; his personality is 100% adorable and wins you over immediately. Simultaneously; his work ethic is intense. A great combination. If I could give 6 stars I would! After the place that I purchased my dress from told me they would charge me almost as much as the dress to get it altered, I decided to shop around and I am SO happy I did! They were honestly wonderful here, the prices were fair and the work was beautiful. My dress looked perfect and they were so nice and professional! Ill be back for other altering needs.

I purchased a pair of True Religion Jeans from Somerset Mall, shortly after I started searching for a tailor to make the pants fit better. I ran across Perfect Fit Tailor which was near by in Birmingham MI. When I took the pair of jeans to the shop I was greeted by Nick who owns the Shop. 2022-06-06If youre looking for wedding gown alterations, COME HERE! After going to a different tailor who clearly had no idea what they were doing, he was able to fix my dress and make it perfect!!! All in less than two weeks from my wedding day. I literally dont know what I would have done without him.

2020-01-30Believe the reviews. Nick is a great guy with great craftsmanship. His new location is beautiful and elegant. Price is very reasonable considering Birmingham. Very quick service as well! Highly recommended! There is a Parking structure on Peabody south of maple, but hopefully you can grab a street spot!

2021-09-29I had the honor of wearing my Grandmothers 64 year old wedding dress for my wedding on 9/18/21.I took it to Nick at Mazura in February and it was completed by the end of August! The dress was 100% silk and lace - Nick completely restructured it and tailored it to perfectly fit my body. Keep in mind the material is 64 years old! Nick handled it with such care and attention to detail, insisting we keep the authentic style of the dress which I appreciated so much! This wasnt about tailoring it to become a completely new dress, it was about honoring the beauty and style of something that was made in the 50s.Nick was so professional throughout the entire process and was quick to respond to any of my texts or calls.Nick is such a talent!! My dress turned out perfectly thanks to Nick. I highly recommend Mazura Tailors - ask for Nick!

2019-02-10I work with a lot of tailors but Nick is by far the most efficient and very good at his craft. I gave hime an impossible deadline to have a tux tailored from Thursday to Saturday Morning. The tux basically needed everything done. Nick confidently said dont worry it will be ready and it was finished on time and fit perfect for my engagement shoot that day. I would highly recommend Nick he works miracles and loves helping people.

2021-12-01I used this place for regular clothing alternations: Stuff like blouses, jackets, blazers, etc. How does a business earn so many 5-star reviews? By having the expertise, craftsmanship, and likability that the masters at this place have. They know how clothing should fit your body. I dont care how much I spend on something, if it doesnt fit me it doesnt help me. The tailoring is flawless. Its a clean and gorgeous space. And theyre so kind. Highly recommend!
