My grandma used to take me here to get shoes all the time when I was a kid.
Mark is simply the best at what he does. He takes the time to fit each person with the best shoes, regardless of how many customers are chatting in his store. Im so happy hes been in business for over 37 years and will be around many more.
Mark was very helpful and spent 30 minutes helping find just the right insert for my shoe. The Powerstep, PULSE performance orthotic.
Great store to buy babies first shoes. Owner makes sure shoes are a good fit. He takes his time with each customer to make sure they are satisfied. Owner makes special shoes and fits them perfect for customer.
Not the best place for special needs people to shop. My son was talked into a too small shoe that made him off balance and fall. Repeated trips to chiropractor remedied his pain but since his foot was not correctly fit in the first place we took them back only to be threatened with the police and talked over by the owner. Sad because weve gone there for years. Will not go back.
I went in for a pair of diabetic shoes and I had more personal attention in making a shoe purchase than Ive had in around 30 years. The store is small and rustic but the service and knowledge will be very difficult to surpass.
I have been seeing the owner since high school he keeps a cue card system on everyone and keeps notes on your foot size over the years I was slways a 10 but my feet shrank to a 9 according to him.He always gives out tomatoes around the summer time too.Customer service is top notch.Just be prepared to spend at least a hour with him because he is very thorough.
McNallys is the best shoe store in the area if you have narrow or wide feet. The stores owner Mark, has a fantastic memory, I have been going there since 1993 and he always remembers me, where I live and my shoe size.
The best service you will ever get. He takes the time to fit you properly. If you have any kind of foot problems or trouble finding the right shoes, Mc Nallys is the place to go.

The only place I go for shoes. I have a terrible time getting shoes to fit, very wide feet, high arches, bunion, you name it. He meticulously measures, finds or orders the correct shoes, and then if necessary, stretches to accommodate the small bunion. Dont be in a hurry.
This place gave me great shoes for my kids decades ago and the same guy is still there. Personable and friendly, he fitted my grandson with his first pair of shoes.

I don’t recommend this shop to repair expensive shoes, mine were messed up. When I asked questions (in a polite manner of course) the owner had a very bad attitude. He is a racist too. Also the shop is very messy and filthy.
Went over there today to get a pair of shoes for my wife......wonderful, attentive personal service, even though the store was busy, they didnt have her size in stock, but he is going to order her the size she needs.....good, old-fashioned shoe store with personal service........
Cool home town shoe shop. They do repairs at a very reasonable cost. Does take a few days, but quality work takes time.
Needs some housekeeping but if you need repairs or have a question regarding shoes and fit this is the place to go.
The owner is such a fun person and does a great job for fitting children with their first pair of shoes!

2021-10-29The best customer service experiences Ive had in my life. Gotten no fewer than a dozen pair of shoes and boots here since I was a kid, as have many members of my family. If youve ever seen one of those movies set in decades past, where theres a small shop run by the same guy for 30 years, and everyone knows and adores him, thats McNallys Shoes. If you need shoes or boots, come here first. The day that he closes the shop, Allen Park will never be quite as nice.

2021-05-07I had a coworker say there was a shoe store in Allen Park and that I should check them out. I gave Mark a call and explained what I was looking for and he said come on in. I walked into his unique store and got old school customer service which I loved. He made sure I was taken care and was very attentive to what I needed.The starter tomato plant was a bonus gift with the purchase of my new shoes. Great experience overall and look forward to recommending them!

2021-05-16My daughter has over pronation and we took her here to hopefully get help without having to see and doctor. Went in and got her fitted gave us the best option for her & she has been walking better ever since. GREAT SERVICE & SUPER FRIENDLY. I called a week prior to going in and they remembered who I was based on my questions. This will now be my go to shoes store.It is small & cute. Almost something you would see in a movie. There is so much history inside. We love looking at it all.

2021-07-31For knowledge and personal service, you cant beat this wonderful, every day and specialized home town old school shoe store. No hurry personal service. This is a specialty store, so it is wonderful for anyone who has odd feet, fat feet, high arcs, etc. Wonderful true fitting measured for baby and toddler feet---and thats saying something if you have a child who is hard to fit.Anything you need is here!

2019-05-23I must say this place is an amazing find. The owner is very personable and friendly and does an amazing job at what he does. He is very knowledgeable and takes his time. He has many stories to tell and has an awesome gift with tomatoes. My two little girls got fitted for shoes and I have never had a more thorough fitting in my life. God bless this man and his business.We were Blessed with two different tomato types to take home and plant as well.

2020-08-19Gone here since i was 3 and now i take my kids. The prices are more than you pay at wall mart or khols but the quality is far better. I would rather pay here for great shoes that last and last than buy walmart shoes and have to replace them every other month. The personal service frome the owner is outstanding.
