First brought us 1 sandwich out of 3 and when i went inside to fix it was apologized to at all was made to wait while order after order went out before they fixed mine then the lady threw the bag of food at me. Ill start going to Allegan location or burger King worst experience ever
Best starbucks ever. I goe her many times a week ths staff is friendly and the food and drinks are great. Only problem is that they run out of.my favorites and are out for days on end
Everytime I get a chicken sandwich from here it is cooked to death an taste like grease. Not impressed by this location.
I would like to say right now that my opinion from before was out of anger, then I gained more respect for people in the fast food working community, and if I could apologize for my original review I would.The Service was much better since my last review, the decor has upgraded so much, if I had to say anything Id rather miss the little gaming like areas from when I was younger but that is just a slight nitpick.I would like to thank everyone who is working there, for basically having the patience of saints, as working in the fast food field is something of other hell for a lot of people.

If I could give this location a negative five star I would every time I go there they somehow figure out how to mess up my order and this is just the latest and theyre not even trying to make it right I hope they close this location down
Im a serial ordered for everyone at work... We can be difficult but they always make right. Brandy AM supervisor always goes the extra mile... Only thing... One of the ladies at drive thru has personality of house plant and kills the smiles of staff and consumers.
I was there at 12noon. Used the drive through and the line was long. But staff very effectent and the line kept moving.
Edit: Im really concerned about this McDonalds. So many negative reviews. Now, I notice they are not keeping up on the landscaping, grass not mowed, grass and plants not being watered, weeds growing in the landscaping, hedges not being trimmed. Looks bad!Orig: Not so fast anymore. Hit or miss on whether its fresh it not. Open the dine in part up for crying out loud.Update: unbelievable how slow the drive thru is. You would think after all this time of just drive thru, no inside dining, theyd be experts. But no youd be wrong. It seems like they dont get better.
Went there last night with my daughter. They messed get sandwich up twice. We were pretty disappointed and just chalked it up as a loss this times. Next time we will pay attention to who is working and who is not working at the time. Update... getting better! More staff, always friendly. Orders arent all messed up like they used to be.
Told myself never again but decided to try them again. 35 minute wait only to get a less than warm burger and cold fries. I realize help is an issue but they should shut down until they are staffed good enough to offer quality and service. Other McDonald’s don’t seem to struggle like this one. Hope they can turn it around.

The service has improved. I did not go there for a few months because of bad service. Keep up the good work!!! I went on 4-10-22 I understand why it is slower on service but, could you workers please get the order right. Having to wait in line again while some of the food we already have is getting cold. Lincoln Ave McDonalds is undergoing an interior remodel of sorts, so dine in is a NO GO currently. They did move their pick-up no contact parking spots from the drive thru side to the parking lot side. Still great service and polite employees. I love this location.
Literally couldnt make my food had to cancel my order an then still bill me afterwards never eating at McDonalds again or using the app Literally the most pathetic McDonalds ever And on top of it it dont matter if you order 20 minutes early they still wont make your food on time
Do not expect this location to be open late. We got to the drive thru around 10:30pm and they were already closed (despite the lights and menu screens being on). According to the hours posted online, they should have been open until at least 11pm that night. I pulled up to one of the windows, and had an employee make eye contact with me while they motioned to slit their throat and mouthed Were closed.
Just came from McDonalds in Allegan. We waited 45 minutes in line to receive cold food. The fries were cold and soggy and the chicken nuggets tasted like they fried them over an hour ago. Will not go back. Very disappointing as they are usually good.
Just dropped off the kids for a night alone and decided to grab a quick bite. Totally watch the lady at the front counter swap the pump from old Carmel for my macchiato into a fresh Carmel container. The pump was already covered with who knows what on the outside and as always the speed of service at this McDonalds was extremely slow. 12 minutes for a minimal order. The window of the order pick-up was so cloudy and dirty I could barely get a half way decent picture of the nasty old punp. Better off driving to plainwell to McDonalds or choosing ANY other establishment to eat at.
Was VERY slow and the orders were made wrong dunno why they often operate with only one lane open and STILL are slower per person than any other place. Youd assume that one lane would mean more focus...And dont ever go after 10 because they refuse to take your order despite being open for another hour. They just leave the lights on and refuse to work.
Didnt care for the lady who came on to the speaker. She didnt have the attitude for customer service. It was like she was bored being there.Why such a high rating? Well when we went up to pay. A young man repeated the order and corrected the order from the lady who was bored and not attentive. He apologized. which he didnt have to, as he vocalized my order before accepting payment. And took the time to correct it.Then at the window to get the food, another young man was so pleasant. Smiling with reassurance from the first window.Food was so much better this week than the last couple weeks as well. (Ugh I know, busy mom and kids have to eat junk sometimes. Right?) LolCustomer service is not easy. But those young boys stepped up. I wish I got their names. Ha! Maybe next week 🤷♀️
Placed online order for 1 frappe and one iced coffee. Waited 15 mins after signing in. Called them to hear Ive been trying to get out there, the frappe machine is down. Seriously. I asked for another iced coffee, because it was a bogo daily deal, and that still took another 5 mins. I hold management to blame for unacceptable service for not staffing accordingly. Only 1 of two order lines are open and always a super long wait. Thats why I tried online instead. Sadly, no better. The team members try, but management does not support. I feel sorry for the workers.
Never a good experience in terms of speed. Quality and employee friendliness okay.Typical experience: ordered iced coffee curbside, took 10+ min to be brought out. Another time fifteen minutes for a curbside happy meal. Thats all I ordered. Drive Thru would have been worse.This location has major efficiency issues, regardless of how busy they are. Employees dont seem to understand basic elements of thru put for a fast food establishment. If they are busy, dont visit unless you have at least 15 minutes to spare.
Normally, good service, however this day I used the McDonalds App & curbside service (stated estimated wait time -5 min.). Ive had great service with the app at other locations. After waiting nearly 15 min for my order, I opted to go thru drive-thru to let them know of the situation. I was directed back to curbside & only waited a few min. to receive my order. Hopefully it just was an off day. Im certain Ill use curbside service again. 🙂

Every McDonalds usually tells me they dont have the minute maid slushie so I was expecting another no at this location. Got a yes and was super excited because i just love them and cant ever find a MD that actually has them....took a drink...the syrup tasted sour and very clearly had gone bad. So..yeah.
Yeah I only got 2 unsweetened iced teas ts but it was very very good and I really feel for those people working in that restaurant yeah they are definitely theyre definitely working their fingers to the bone and something Ill be done about that

Headed here just after the fair it was 10p. 1. the internet and the windows both said they were open till 12a. The person at the front was serving his friend at the front window. Do you know how may customers they lost tonight? While they pretended to be closed and served their friends.

The employees that run drive thru wasnt very friendly at all and when I said thank you for my change she just rolled her eyes and walked away. None of them wears a smile on their faces, can actually hear if they are happy just by listening to them speak.

Usually okay service. But this time we decided to stop by in the evening. The woman who handed us our food had a lit cigarette in her hand while she handed us our drinks... it grossed me out.
We were there about 8:15 or so Wednesday morning 2 car in front of us spent 10 min in line then the girl at the window was short and said pull ahead and wait they would bring out the order after another 10 min had gps on so I know the time. Management came out with a smurk handy the bag to us never apologized for the wait told us to come back laughed and walk away so unprofessional.I will not go back there Worsted service ever

Typical McDonalds.However if you come around the lunch hour the fries are always fresh/hot and the burgers are pretty good to. While the drive-thru may seem busy, they usually get you in and out pretty rapidly.

Once again another negative experience with this McDonald’s. Of my 19 years on this planet I’ve never been to a place with worse service. I came in today and they just about messed up every single thing in my order and still managed to take 20 minutes in doing so. Wouldn’t recommend this place to my enemy.
Cashier was kind of a clutz, but the manager was able to fix the coupon deal we had. My spicy nuggets were not hot but my wifes 20 piece was. I mean its McDonalds, not some gourmet place but I would hope my stuff is hot

This is the absolute worst McDonalds, and thats really saying something. Some of the people are dolls, but most of them? They dont listen. Theyre rude. Theyre all around disrespectful when they screw anything up.

Got my order wrong twice charged 8 and some change for two less than appetizing chicken sandwiches. With nothing but two shriveled up pickles and a bun.
Used tha app and went to pick it up when I arrived at the drive thru I asked for them to make sure the food was hot. I got it and it was just barley warm so I handed them the bag back and they cooked it over and I got it hot. I asked the person at the window if I should not expect to get hot food unless I ask for it and wait for it to be cooked he looked confused so I just drove off
The people here are friendly! The lobby is a little tight and the dining area is always a little dirty. But my order is always accurate. They can back up but its not bad. My son loves to watch them work in the back, and they are always nice!
This has to be the worst fast food spot in Allegan....absolutely horrific service most of the time, which blows my mind. Its owned by the same guy that owns the one in Holland (31 & Riley) and that is the best functioning McDonalds Ive ever been too.
I went at between 1:30 and 2 am there were 4 cars in drive thru I waited almost 6 minutes to get to the speaker to order another 15 minutes from the time I ordered until the time I got my food. I dont know whats going on with the new owners policies and management staff since it changed ownership but its not working very well at all what happened to the good old days where you waited no longer than 5 minutes and what happened to getting parked. There is nothing wrong with getting parked as long as it keeps the line moving. Granted the food was hot but still this system is not working.
Waited over 20 minutes for my order. No communication going on with the cook crew, everyone is doing there own thing. I went to go purchase a Sunday and use a coupon and the manger of the shift was arguing with me about haveing to purchase something when I told them 3 times what I was trying to do.
They gave me a crispy chicken when it should have been crispy chicken deluxe also gave me sweet tea when I wanted unsweetened tea
Supposed to be open until 11PM. I arrived at 10:36 PM and both drive thru lanes were blocked by wet floor cones, and thru the back drive window I could see someone mopping the floor already.
How do you spend over 5 minutes making a Mcdouble & fries??? And than get the order wrong?(no onion isnt difficult) & the fries were cold. I asked for this to be fixed & the manager told me I had to get back in the drive thru line. It was wrapped around the building due to being busy and very slow staff.😒This place is slippin.
This location is always slow. I mean like 20 mins waits for to go orders. Im always missing something, though I rarely leave the store with out it. We never dine in. Tea never seems fresh (usually sour ). We are not usually to picky but always end up getting mayo when i ask for them to leave it off. Breakfast biscuits are usually hard past normal breakfast hours.

Well we went through drive through and didnt get what I ordered, but charged me for it, so went back inside to get it rite and couldnt believe how dirty the floor was every where. Not very buzy either. When I worked at one years ago you werent allowed to have the place dirty any time. Not impressed at all.
We waited in line for 15 minutes before the people in front of us were able to take their order, then waited again for nobody to take our order. Just ended up leaving because all the employees were looking at us and not coming to take our order. They werent even very busy. Done with this place.
If you’re looking to play food roulette this is the spot for you! Will I get what I ordered? Will they have put anything that I paid extra for onto my order? Will I receive someone else’s order at random?Probably not!The last time I was unfortunate enough to stop in I’d ordered two McDoubles, with extra cheese. Pretty simple I’d thought. A cheeseburger, with an extra slice of cheese... What could go wrong? Well, twenty minutes later I received my order. I was the second car in the drive thru, that’s actually pretty decent for them. I opened my now cold burger just to find two shriveled up patties, no cheese, no condiments, no pickles or onions even and on top of that, they had been smashed them flatter than a piece of paper.Don’t believe me, well, if you’ve got twenty minutes to spare head on down for a little disappointment of your own.
Forgot how bad I feel after eating animal fat. So not worth the cost and time savings. Will definitely be going the extra mile for an Impossible Whopper from now on for these rare fast food visits.
Slow with their drive thru. They dont tell people to pull over if they are waiting on something. They also only take orders from one lane at a time which I question why they have two lanes at all if they cant serve with speed and take multiple orders at a time.

Worst McDonalds ever!! Worst food, worst service. If you can avoid this McDonalds and make it to a different one, Id highly recommend that. The management is rudest Ive ever encountered. Terrible place and if you dont mind the wait and horrible service, youll be disappointed with the food for sure...
So the food is good. But the service isnt very good and although the food is good, they mess up orders quite a bit. I worked here for 3 months and I had 30 minute breaks. If I bought one thing it took at least 10 minutes if not more just for that. And, the employees and managers dont really seem to care about the customers that they make money off of. Ever since it became franchise, its gone downhill.
Stopped in before work for just a couple of coffees at just before 10. We waiting at the speaker for a few minutes and waitied to order. They ended up taking the other lines order 3 times and so we drove around the building and got in the other line and they took a cars order for the line we just left before taking ours. So we just drove to the window and wanted to order. And my boyfriend explained what had happened and he got attitude. Then after we ordered the girl at the window explained that they had two managers who were dating working and that they were fighting. So service suffers because they are having a lovers spat.
Just terribly slow service compared to other McDonalds. With the state of the art drive thru and the beautiful facilities they should be zipping people through here. Not the case. Just slow slow service.
Very disrespectful at night. The food is nice and fresh during the day with friendly service but at night the whole crew is disrespectful and rude and the food is always cold and stale. The manager at night cured at my wife and i and told us to get the F**k out of here and the girl that hands the food out was rude and ignored us and gave us mean looks because we wanted fresh fries and wanted to hand back the cold ones that tasted like chemicals and perfume so then I asked for my money back instead of new fries and the girl stomped off yelling oh my god the manager then went and gave us our money back on the fries really rude like and when I ask her if she could speak to the young girl about how rude she was she turned around and said get the f**k out of here as she walked away. Plus they was in there cracking jokes and laughing at us and said they should just spit in our food. Im very steamed and appalled by all of this. So if your gonna go to this mcdonalds I would suggest going during the day time hours.
Going thru the drive thru is typically always quick and without problems, food is hot and you get the correct order. Inside the service can be lacking (slow), the drink and condiment area is typically not clean and items filled. 50/50 of the Workers inside are kind and friendly.
We were in line for 25 minutes and our food was cold by the time we picked it up at the end of the line. Never have this problem at other McDonalds just must be Allegan
This place is extremely slow there was this lady that I think they kicked out that would take like 10 mins for a hash brown and a muffin bundled with a large Diet Coke no ice. And then she tells us to come up there like with heck. Then she calls the manager up there to help her if they kicked her out FinallyWell the inside is really dirt with 60% of the seats dirty and the service being okay the food is not best they also do have a problem with the drink machine.
Need to work on service always waiting in drive thru. This time 14 minutes for food then get to window then asked to pull ahead and wait longer then have others get there food behind me in line and drive away. I waited in the drive through from 1:17 until 1:31 for an iced coffee. They should have handed it out the money window or noved the person ahead of me. However the young lady in thw window was polite.
Worst experience Ive ever had at McDonalds. Should have known better when we pulled in the parking lot, and saw the back door to the kitchen open and an employee running in and out, barefoot. We were third in line for service, and had to wait almost 20 minutes, because the crew member, screwed up BOTH of the orders ahead of us. We both ordered a number one medium, one with a Coke and one with a vanilla cappuccino. When we got our order, we received ONE WHOPPER, ONE MEDIUM FRY and ONE CAPPUCCINO. When we pointed out that there were two of us, we were told that our order was correct!!! We, finally, got a refund and left. It took 35 minutes to end up with nothing. I highly recommend that if your on 131 and looking for McDonalds, skip Schoolcraft and continue on to Kalamazoo or White Pigeon.

I ordered a happy meal. 2 snack wraps. 2 large fries. 3 10 price nuggets. I got 2 medium fries. Now I paid for father keep in mind. Then to top it off the woman who took my order was corse and sounded as if she didnt want to be there. Here is a sound of advice. If you want money but hate your job. Either find a new one or fake it til you make it. Its called job security. Not satisfied at all.
People say this place is really bad but I lived near it for five years and they had perfect service and they were super nice and me and a couple of friends have rode our bikes there and they told us we could move our bikes near the window and camera to keep them from getting stolen amazing service from the drive through also

This is the slowest McDonalds in existence. I wouldnt recommend going through here if you are in a hurry. A few months ago, I asked why the wait was so long every time and the lady at the window told me it was because they got a new owner. I dont know what he changed. Their food is usually hot now but the orders are still messed up most of the time.

It was fine. Had a bit of a strange feeling but I dont know how to explain it. Maybe it was a bit dark or a color i wasnt in love with. Overall just not a place for me. And there was a super strange walk in area where customers have access to a drive through window...
Service has gone down hill since this location became franchised. The food used is lower quality than in the past, the serving times are through the roof (just today I wanted 14 minutes for a value meal and a happy meal, with that being said two very large orders were somehow put before my order and came out first when I had ordered before them) they were quick to let go most of the staff and hire all new. These new employees dont know whats going on so my guess is training isnt strong here. I also heard that they took away many benefits mcdonalds used to offer. I guess that explains the attitude of the works there. Poor service poor product poor attitude and no longer 24 hours. Time to sell it back to the people who knew what they were doing.

This McDonalds used to be a really solid one, but or the past year...or maybe even longer, it has become the slowest and inconsistent one Ive ever been to.Prepare for a backed up drive thru all of the time. Prepare to wait anywhere between 10-20 minutes to get through it. Not kidding. Average time to get through is 15 minutes for me and Im ordering a Mccafe drink and a sandwich. Nothing special order. The only reason I go now is to get my girlfriend a drink when she is working. I refuse to go there for any other reason.Its supposed to be cheap fast food...and burger king just does that better.

Typical Allegan Mi McDonalds, took 29 minutes from the time we placed our order at the drive thru until we actually got our food. Store manager thinks its appropriate to only staff 2 employees on a Saturday night. When will McDonalds corporate wake up and fire the store manager, district manager and impose some form of penalty on the franchise owner. Its like this every day, slowest service of any fast food restaurant and no body cares because were just a small town. Only reason I give them one star is because the system wont let me rate it with zero stars.

This McDonalds is by far the worst one I have ever been to. They are rude, make you wait for 15 to 20 minutes in the drive thro then n get your order wrong. They are open 24/7 but close at night a lot. Tonight I go to the drive thro I waited for 5minutes said hello? They answered can i help you? We ordered the first item, no reply, I said hello? They said hold on a second. Then we waited while the other lane was helped 3times. Then we said umm hello? They answered and said can you just wait. So we left. I called and they said its not our fault the computer went down well you could of said pull forward or something. I wont be going back here ever again. They are horrible. So, believing that one day they would actually try to make q change, I went back. I placed my order and i asked for fresh fries, fresh chicken nuggets and artisan chicken sandwich with no tomatoes, slivered onions and extra mayo. I received what tasted like 3 day old fries, dried out old chicken nuggets and my chicken sandwich had no mayo, tomato, and no onion with a piece of lettuce that looked like it came out of a trash can. My second order was a mocha frappe. The short heavier set manager came to the counter and took my food rudely from me and threw it into the trash and proceeded to rudely tell them how i wasnt happy and to remake it. Almost 57 minutes i got my food. I asked about my frappe and she acted like i wanted to steal her 1st born child. Waited another 15 minutes for that. The mgr Sarah called my phone and left q message but after trying 7 times to get ahold of her with no success i give up. This is the#1 worst fast food restaurant in allegan. I rather drive to holland if I want McDonalds..
They were very nice but food was kinda cool when we got it. Normally pretty good.

Ive been here multiple times and seem to wait longer than at most McDonalds drive throughs. The employees need to work on smiling more when they take payment and giving you your food. Ive never had to pull over to the reserved spots and wait. The food is hot but sometimes they dont fill their cold coffees all the way, prices seem to be higher than Plainwell chain but there arent many other places to get quick food in Allegan.
Service is horrible third time Ive been to this McDonalds in the last 3 months and the same story each time several people who ordered after me had more complicated orders and got their orders before mine. this time once I got my order that hamburger wasnt even completely cooked!
Super popular, the wait times can be a bit long. I cant think of any particular issues Ive had aside from spending a long time in line
Ive lived all over the east coast from florida to jersey to michigan, ive been in hundreds of differnt mcdonalds and this one is by far the slowest ive ever been to. Not just once or twice but everytime. left me sitting in drivethru at order screen while 5 cars that arrived after me went thru the other lane. Went inside during my lunch hour and waited 25 minutes for the wrong order during that time i watched 4-5 employees standing around with their hands on their hips with a look on their faces like they didnt know what to do next, one of whom was the manager! Not one employee moved faster than slow motion while everyone waited for their food. Ive seen many other resturaunts handle much bigger workloads in 1/5 the time. All i can figure is it is either very very poor management, or bad genetics in this town and they are incapable of improvement
Very bad service. Closed before there closing time.For some reason they only have one lane open even though it says any lane any time???😡😭
I go to school right down the street and get food here often. There are nice employees but they seem to always get fired. Everyday my frappe is screwed up. Takes way too long even if you just want a small fry. Every time I am disappointed.
Breakfast: waited in line for probably 10-15 minutes. My daughter ordered biscuits with jelly... who needs a knife to spread jelly? Just use your finger! Not all my experiences have been like this, but...
I tried 5 times around Allegan area to try the new buttermilk chicken strips. Only to be told that they were out. Not because of availability but because of thawing and prep timing. I understand. I work in food service also. Well lo and behold...I went to Allendale recently to pick up a grand daughter from college. We went to McDonalds for lunch and I got them. They were awesome. Worth the wait. My day got so much brighter! Thank you.
We came thru for breakfast and everything was hot, made to specifications and tasted great! I highly recommend either the sausage breakfast burritos w mild sauce or the sausage egg and cheese mcgriddle!
After sitting in line for 15mins, Took them another 15mins to bring out 4 mcChickens and 2 fries. Only car that had to pull forward. Place is a joke

Slowest McDonalds I have ever been too. I waited for literally 20min this morning. Im from the area and its not abnormal to wait for a long time at this particular McDonalds. Food is usually ok but they shouldnt list themselves as a fast food joint.
Food was cold and workers was rood when i ask for food to be made to order it was not ask for large water and i said i would buy fuel price i got told no we cant do that not happy will not be back to this location ever

EVERY TIME I decide to take my grandkids to McDonalds something is either MISSING or ITS OLD...!!!! I dont understand WHY your employees cant seem to get things correct. I spent ALMOST 40.00 there tonight... 91 degrees out... Get home JUST to find out Im missing one of the 10 piece nuggets for grandson.. Get back out in 90 degree weather drive back cross town at ALMOST 3.00 a gallon of gas ...to get what should have been in the bag to begin with... No SINCERE apology.. Didnt try to make it right.. Very disappointed..
Workers in drive through are so friendly and helpful. I notice that the coffee isnt good. They used to have the best and now it tastes like hot water.
The person who took my order doesnt know customer service. He/she didnt greet me plus it took me 25 mins just to get a chicken sandwich. My lunch break is 30 mins.😑 Food is good but I wont be back.
This McDonalds has the slowest drive-thru of ANY fast food drive-thru I have ever been to. Recently had a 15 plus minute wait to get two large coffees. They should tear it down and someone should build a McDonalds, they already have a great location and plenty of drive-thru parking !?!?

Omgosh, ordered 2 things .. long line ahead of me . Yet when it was my turn for pickup, she thought she had already gave me my food. Nope just drinks, then had to pull ahead for another 8 minutes... Ughhhh so not fast food....smh
Awful. In addtion to the unpleasant employees no explanation was given for the delay in the preparation of a small Iced Mocha.I stood there waiting for this drink to be prepared for an unacceptably long period of time. And, during this time at least half a dozen patrons, with food orders, were served ahead of me. During my waiting period I viewed the entire training procedure for Iced Mocha. I was not impressed. Why was a simple order held back? And, not so much as an apology offered for the delay in serving time - nor a thank you offered when the drink was shoved in my face.I will never return to this location!!!!!This drink was for my disabled friend who had been waiting in line. She could no longer stand and needed to return to her car seat. This is sad. My complaint refers to the entire time period.We expect more for McDonalds.Draw your own conclusions.
I used to love this McDonalds until I had to wait 26 minutes through the drive through. One person that already paid drove right off because he knew it was not worth the wait. Everyone that works here at this McDonalds is absolutely rude! Whoever manages this McDonalds need to teach there day shift managers and employees with a lot of respect. I went though the drive through with my finance that is pregnant, they would always make fun of us. Yes, I am from allegan area but had no idea who these people even where. I have met Tony, the franchise owner before. Do not get me wrong, he is a very truthful honest business man. He is trying to make this go right with other people. But when it does come to people coming with un happy faces, it makes Allegans McDonalds look unfortunately bad and I would hate to see that. I have been not going to this McDonalds no more. But I will still always go to Tonys franchise.
Went in for the bbq bacon with crispy chicken meal. They screwed it up. So I went back and talked to the manager. She apologized and got me a new one. That one was wrong too. No cheese on that one. Thank you to Kayan for going out of his way to try make up for the 1st mistake. He showed great customer service! Now my name is in the book for another sandwich to replace the last bad one, per the manager. No offer for a free meal or anything. Hope their grill crew gets their stuff together soon.
I am a fan of McDs and love their food when properly prepared. Unfortunately this McDonalds always (not once, not twice, always) messes up my order one way or another. One time they forgot my nuggets(20pc). Another time we got into it with the manager after receiving old patties on Mcdoubles after another customer informed them of the old meat. She argued with us and threw a fit for having to make new sandwiches. I ended up talking to the new store owner about my concerns and he made up for it. The McDonalds in Kalamazoo on w. Main encouraged me to try Allegan one more time after receiving such great service there. What a mistake! My Mcdoubles were only singles. All I have to say is Im disappointed. I guess I will be going out of my way for McDs anytime I have a craving.
Ive never sat in the drive thru for less than 15 minutes! Definitely not a fast food spot to stop at if youre in a hurry.

They have gotten so slow lately!!! 30mins in the drive-thru from the time I placed my order till the time I recieved my food, thats not including the time I waited in line to place the order.Theres been 2 different occasions the only items on our order are drinks with espresso, pay for them at the first window, only to find out at the pick up window that the mocha machine is down.Was told Be right with you. being the only car at the drive-thru. Watched 4 cars pull up to the other speaker and have orders taken. When I said Helloo..? I got a Be with you in a min. decided to leave.
This was no Fast Food it took 20 minutes to get our cold nasty order. They were more focused on the drive thru than us waiting inside.
Very poor service. I went there for lunch , went Inside and ordered a single 1/4 pounder meal and watched 4 other customers who were behind me and line get their orders first.one of which included 8 McDoubles! I dont know why it takes longer to make one sandwich then it does to make 8. Plus serve 3 additional customers, but I will not be returning here anytime soon
Terrible customer service. I returned to this location after an absolutely horrible experience about four years ago when I was screamed at through the drive thru by the manager because she thought I had called her cashier a Barbie (because ofcourse you can see people through the intercom???? :/ ) & recieved no apology what so ever, thinking that their relationship with their customers had improved.. I was wrong. Pay the extra and go somewhere else.
Just waiting 15 minutes for 10 piece nugget and when I got in side after sitting out side for 15 mins they acted like it was not a big deal at all honestly I think I deserve a refund. Then after I get home to eat my food they gave me no sauce and barely any fires I just got out the hospital Im not the happiest customer!!!!

Air conditioning did not work. Big Mac was a disappointment. The fresh meat burger idea at MacDonalds has not worked. The previous version (frozen) tasted much better for all of their sandwiches.

Middle-aged male manager is a good motivator. Staff seems to enjoy their time when hes in charge. The good mood is passed on to the customers in the form of great service.

McDonalds has the absolute best Mocha Latte 👌 I have ever had. They are absolutely perfect for a hot summer day. You have to check it out 👍😉.
Waited in drive thru 10 minutes to place an order then was asked to pull aside to the 2nd lot while they got my order ready. Waited another 10 minutes after paying and was treated rudely by person bringing food out. Won’t be back.

This place is trash, I did a survey to get free cookies cuz I purchased sum and they charged me for cookies and the lady was rude when we ordered the first time, and the second time she was straight mean and before I could look at the reciept she was gone from the window despite the fact the drive thru was full and trust me I work at fast food and you’re not supposed to leave your station at work especially with us pulling forward and people pulling in and she having to cash out.
Always a pleasure to stop for coffee and have such a wonderful staff serve you with kindness and respect they go above and beyound to be polite to their costumers

The staff where undertrained, the manager had no idea how to charge 2 cards for one order, so they rerang it as 2 orders, and the chicken in or McChickens where old. Never going back to this McDonalds. Ever.
Very fast and friendly service for the hungry traveler. This is not too crowded because its in the middle of nowhere. But this makes for a relaxed and calm atmosphere. I can recommend it. Better than a lot of other MCD restos out there.

We got drinks and was so full when you put the straw in it run all over the car.

I really like my hometown McDonalds but I hate to say it. Every time I go there, especially through the drive through, they make the order wrong or something is down or being cleaned.
Drive thru takes forever. The guy yelled at me when I didnt want to choose a gender for the happy meal. And they never gave my grandkid their fries for the happy meal.
Slow service, always something missing or wrong, can hardly hear through the drive thru, a lot of rude employees in the evening, nice employees in day shift, and it is supposed to be open 24 hours and the last few weeks there are days when it was closed before 11am no notice employees there as you go through the drive thru they tell you they are closed but wont answer why! I eat here often only bc there isnt much eles in this small town and the grandbaby likes it. which brings up this thought, what ever happened to McDonalds being kid friendly? what kid watches big screen TV with the news on it, where did the toys go .... beyond stupid! but a Merry Go Round back in there put up a rope climb it doesnt have to be the ball pits and the enclosed slides that are German Fest in make it something that can be sprayed down wiped off but lets get these kids up and active and thats for all the McDonalds
They open at 6 I showed up at 6:34 none helped me, until 6:40 another customer said they are still closed. Employees were there, apparently they just wernt feeling it today. I usually have problems with this location for wait time but this one wins it!

Went through the drive through and was never asked if I wanted my receipt. Get home and there is no drinks in my kids meal and no fries in my bag for 2 adult meals.
The girl working the drive thru cash register today at 1240pm was an incompetent moron. We left after trying to order our food because she didnt understand what we wanted or she doesnt know the menu.
We were the only car in the drive through. It took almost 15 minutes for a medium fry and large coke.

Rarely have an issue. Food was as ordered but took a long time. 4th in line waited a good 10 minutes for a mcgriddle.
They were not busy but service was taking about 5 minutes per customer inside. The food was not hot. The staff appeared to have to much time on their hands and seemed to be wandering about behind the counter.
Honestly the manager at the McDonalds here at 5:26 p.m. was so rude to her co-workers and seems unfit to be working in an environment with other people. I think her name was Serentiffany and she was borderline harassing another employee, tall with blonde hair. I heard him mutter Im going to kill myself, I hate my job. No hair net or hat behind the counter too.
My boyfriend and I only really come through McDonalds for breakfast. Every time we get the same thing. 2 sausage biscuits, 2 sausage egg McMuffins, and 2 hashbrowns. And *EVERY TIME* his bisucits come through hard.

Looking for a restaurant for lunch during our recent visit to historic downtown Allegan, we found Minnie Sophronas. This is a nice little café with good home-cooked fare. We had a delicious Hawaiian Burger and a patty melt. Both were great and clearly hand-made. There seem to be very few dining places in the downtown area, but this is a good choice. We were told it has been in business for nearly 30 yrs. Named after the owners grandmother, Minnie.
Took 20 minutes to get our food and the fries were cold. Very rarely do we ever have a good experience at this location

Drive thru is always slow,accuracy is off from time to time. Mc Donalds is a fast food restaurant but not in allegan.
After telling her my order twice she still got it wrong. Told her no I would like and still gave me the wrong order. Food cold. Overcharged me and when she called the manager over he was not friendly at all.
They dont carry a sandwich pictured on their menu. Put onions on a sandwich and then just took them off when I reminded them for the 4th time no onions.

Very commonly get either the wrong food order or plain missing entire meals. I dont go unless there is a need. To much of a hassle going back or waiting to verify you actually received what you order.If I could give negative stars I would...

2022-05-14After getting through the 30 minute long drive through line, they messed up my order and said it’s not on them. I handed them the receipt and it took about 5 times explaining what was wrong before they understood (so I thought) and they made me a new one which was wrong again. They finally had me pull forward and had me wait while they made another new one.

2022-07-06Entire food wasn’t fresh. All French fries mushy and cold. Let alone ask for something on a sandwich and didn’t get it at all. Two burgers with ketchup and pickle only how hard is that. It’s not rocket science. This particular one has turned for the worst. Crew members are nasty. They don’t care how they prep the food or on what. They throw it on the floor and just leave it. This place needs to be shut down

2022-05-01Took an hour to get through the line and the curbside pickup wasnt working. I understand that they were out of a lot of things, but the wait time was ridiculous for a couple of sandwhiches and 2 fries. Food was cold by the time we were given it.

2022-04-12Despite their massive lack of staff, a second shift with youngsters who do not seem to know what a job is aka as paid to work not goof around, checking your phone every 5 minutes, these people try their best, most are friendly and want things to be the way they should be.. lets try to give them a little break on their times to get orders out. And mistakes on food happens everywhere.. Hang in there allegan a brighter day will come.

2020-11-12Completely ruined my meal when I got home, over 10 miles away, and found a big piece of paper under the cheese on my quarter pounder yesterday 11/11/2020. This sandwich ended up in the trash because Im not making a round trip of more than 20 miles just to get my sandwich replaced, I dont think Ill be back after this because it shows that they dont pay very close attention to food safety.
