One of the most incompetent and disappointing businesses Ive ever been to. Notice I say business and not McDonalds. Pick one or a few issues whether its long wait time, wrong orders, inconsistent food, or just aloof employees. Id rather spend twice as much down the road at any other fast food spot or even drive to another location of theirs just to avoid this place.
Been sitting at the driving through waiting forever for them to tel us to pull up and they still haven’t token the shake i told them to off terrible person whoever works the speaker edit jus now received it and they put small fries in a large fry box and called it a day lazy workers
Stopped at the drive through today for lunch. 3 cars in the driver through, took about 15 minutes to get 2 snack wraps. The cashier was rude. And also, I believe the wraps are supposed to be shredded cheddar and 2 tenders? Both wraps had sliced American and a single tender. This location is very convenient for my route, but I seem to always have issues when I stop here.
Wow this was insane. I was with my brother he wanted McDonalds we went to the Orchard Lake and Grand River location in Farmington Hills. The line took forever. I told my brother it was ridiculous. I wanted to pull off. I wasnt even at the speaker yet. When I got to the speaker the staff said drive to the window and I will take your order. I said to my brother this is already dysfunction. God it took forever to get to the speaker and then the 1st drive thur window. Then we get to the 1st window and the staff member was very nice and said I am gonna take your order then I have to go make it. I said did u guys have people call off? He side everyone called off saying they had covid 19. I thought this coworker was the McDonalds soldier. But I just couldnt believe McDonalds would run the restaurant this way. The conditions were so bad from what I remember was normal. And I have to add I am 44 years old now. But I worked for McDonalds when I was 16 years old. I never seen this service so bad. It is very sad to see McDonalds in such terrible conditions.
The food is about the same with every other MC Donalds. I gave it a four because of the staff. The restaurant deserves less honestly because they can not keep staff. Fortunately there is a young African American man who is sooooooo nice. Even when there are only two people on shift, he is smiling, sweet and always explains whats going on. His attitude is always grade A. Next time Im there Ill ask for his name so I can give him his compliment because he truly deserves it. My kids love the fries. Every Thursday were in the drive through and he is always there, ready with a smile.
Worst McDonalds experience ever. I understand that we have a worker shortage and fast food places are one of the hardest hit right now. However, I think if you are unable to provide even a decent experience, you should close down your establishment until you can support normal inflow.Waited over 30 minutes for a mobile order for 2 large fries. Had to go inside because the drive thru was not moving. Inside was an absolute mess as there were only 3 employees trudging around unproductively while one looked like he was preparing the orders and actually working. My fries were undercooked and cold.
If I could give 0 stars I would. The manager and other employee today were unprofessional in the way they handled this situation. My husband simply had a coupon that they didnt apply and my husband asked if they could give him the credit-difference back. Instead they just asked him for his fries back. Laughable that they are even employed.
The food here is worlds better than the one closer to me and if something is incorrect they always make sure to make it right. This McDonalds has fallen on hard times but the employees there make up for it even though they are also short staffed (pay your employees a living wage McDonalds and maybe you wont have an employee shortage), when you are fully staffed you will then have enough liquid cash to repair your signs and such.
My first time at this store. I drove up with one car ordering ahead of me. They quickly moved up and I ordered. Once I moved up there were three other cars waiting for pick up. Things stalled out and I finally turned off my car while others were pulling up behind me. After maybe 5-7 minutes the front car finally moved. The person taking payment was friendly and apologetic and the line moved efficiently after that. They were obviously trying hard and maybe new at the job. My only complaint is my food wasnt very warm but tasted fine otherwise.
Had to leave b/c the person ahead of me at the drive thru wanted to argue with a manager about his app coupon. So, all of us behind him had to sit and wait for 10 min. I dont have time to wait behind cheep people that just like to argue for a discount at a fast food restaurant. They should have had them move up so they could take care of paying customers.
The worst McDonalds location I have ever been to. If you want to wait 20 to 30 minutes for your food then this is the place to be. I thought I could order curbside and just skip this line and they never even came out. After 20 minutes I went inside. They claimed that the system was down but somehow they had the food already made that I special ordered. You could clearly see that they were highly stressed. I kept my calm unlike the guy that was yelling through the drive-thru window when I was trying to get my food. Ive also been here a few other times and the service is absolutely horrible. After walking out of the store I saw three of the cars still in the Drive-Thru when I first pulled up. They need better management. Also the door was practically falling off of the hinges when I left.
Would give 0 stars. Was car 4 in line at 10:12 AM. Got to speaker at 10:25 to be told it would take 5-7 minutes to take order and then it would be lunch. Told girl I was in line already almost 15 min and she curtly responded well were short staffed. Insanely poor customer service for higher prices than other locations.
Horrible experience here! Stopped here on our way back from a Halloween thing with my son and his friend on Fri night. Waited in an empty drive thru for a half hour, which wasnt even the issue. The one girl working there was lost. I ordered 2 cheeseburgers with no mustard. Get our food and the burgers only have cheese and ketchup. So I go knock on the door and she tells me to go back in the drive thru, no way! I say, I need to get these kids home, can I please just have 2 cheeseburgers with no mustard. I get the new burgers, same thing! So this time I knock on the drive thru window, the guy who took our order got what I was saying cause the lady didnt at all. Whoever the younger kid is and the older guy packing the orders, that place would close without you!! You two were awesome!! The 2 girls who were lost, you need to get it together!!
Hands down worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to and it’s not even close. I’d give this 0 stars if I could. Always slow. Constantly getting orders wrong. Ordered a kids McNugget one time and instead of the nuggets in the box it was filled to the top with ketchup... wut. Not sure how management has allowed this poor excuse of a franchise to remain how it is. Never spending another dime there again.
Lived in area for over 8 years now. This place never fails to amaze me with their ineptitude. From constantly broken intercoms, to constantly broken shake machine, to forgetting toys/fries/condiments/EVEN ENTREES in happy meal boxes. Regularly has 12-15 cars in line at drive-thru bc they are so brutal. Now they have a sign that says you must order from the kiosk inside, which would be fine...if the doors were unlocked and people were allowed in. This has been the case overall at this place since long before Covid created staff shortages, fyi.
Extremely slow. Ordered on app which said to expect 5-7 minutes wait for curbside. 20 minutes later I gave up and walked inside. Waited another five minutes to be greeted to ask about my order.Then a few more minutes and they handed it to me.I couldve had a pizza delivered quicker.
They never cease to amaze me. Its has been months since Ive visited this location and yet they still havent improved. I asked for one of their new crisp chicken sandwiches. I stressed no pickles please. They gave me a sandwich that was already made up. They just took the pickles off, as if I cant still taste them. Wow. Just wow. Lucky for them I am not allergic. They dont even comprehend the ramifications of their actions.
Always screwed up at this McDonalds.. 2 weekends ago i had to go way further to different mcdonalds cuz their system was down at orchard lake. This last sunday i went and they gave me completely different order and i had to drive back to get the right food which was really cold. And they didnt have orange juice. This place is a big disappointment
As typical with this restuarant my service was horrible, fries were cold and not salted, the bun on my burger was stale. The corners were hard letting me know it was not even remotely fresh. I go to this location 4 times a week because its right by my office. Every time its something different. Wrong order, cold food, massively long wait in the drive through. Well Im done. Wendys is right down the road. Ill be going there from now on!
The actual worse McDonald’s EVER. Expect to wait 10+ minutes for an order and that there’s a high chance it will be incorrect.Honestly, this isn’t fast food anymore. You’re better off going to the coney across the street and getting more food for the same price and without the wait.
Do Not Go Here.My fries seemed relatively fresh but when I went to eat one of the two chicken sandwiches I bought, it was covered in mayo on the top bun and absolutely dry as can be it was like chewing a chicken patty made of sawdust and a bit of water. It was disgusting. So I go to check the second one... That one was exactly the same as the first!!! I tried calling, I understand it was 11:00 when I called, but three calls no answer. I would think that this close to lunch EVERYTHING should be fresh, but clearly thats not the case. Will not be spending my money here again. I called 5 times with no answer. I dont even want anything I just wanted to inform them of my disgusting order.
DO NOT do curbside pickup here. Youll wait an average of over 20 minutes. Today I waited the length of my entire lunch and cancelled, which now forces me to do all this extra bs through corporate to get my money back. Avoid this location. When I went in to cancel, my order had just been chilling on the counter the whole time. Never again.
Wish I could give this place a zero. Anytime I’ve gone there it is always something. “Our system is down we can’t take orders” “we’re only accepting cash at this time” “we’re doing shift change so the wait will be 15-20 minutes”. Why does shift change at a fast food restaurant take 15-20 minutes?! I work at a hospital and shift change doesn’t take that long. Also, on numerous occasions, when I have been able to order, they manage to mess something up. This is the worst McDonalds location there is, please replace it with something better.
This place gften gets the order wrong, chicken was under cooked once, fish fillet had a chicken patty another time, the buns were burnt another time. Thats all the times I can remember they messed up my order over the past few months. This restaurant needs to be shut down
Worst McDonald’s location EVER! Always either forgets my kids drink or toy in his happy meal. DONT DARE go there at night. The staff is either OUTSIDE IN THEIR CAR with the headpiece on or just doesn’t take your order period. YET they claim to be open 24 hrs. I sat at the box waiting to order for 7 whole mins while there was only one car who already placed their order and paid. I said hello multiple times and still nothing. While driving off on person was at the window looking like a deer caught in head lights. Smh STAY AWAY
No napkins at drive through. 3/4 cup coffee. Guy says he left room for cream which would require 7 or more servings of cream they give you. Also one napken for three people.(share it?) Coffee just almost warm. Two days in a row.. New people and need retraining. Neéd more workers. Not getting help. We understand. HELP.
A Door dash driver cut in front of me. The staff didnt care. We had to wait a little while because from what it sounded like, there was something wrong with their order, so they say in the drive thru and texted the person and held everyone up. The staff just handed me my food, which was cold and for my toddler, without apology. Never again going here.
One of the worst places Ive ever been to . Waited 15 minutes in line only to be told that they were only serving Mcnuggets. How does this happen at 3:30 in the afternoon. They should have their franchise pulled from them . On a previous occasion I was informed that they were only serving soft drinks. 5:00 in the afternoon. The staff is rude and dismissive. This is the worst McDonalds I have ever been too ! No matter what I will never go to that one again
Store doesnt understand how McDonalds app works. I waited more than 15 minutes for my order after I pulled in and another 10 minutes once I got to talk to someone. Manager told me I did it wrong. I should have gone through the drive through and they would have told me which spot to use. She told me orders randomly pop up on their screen and sometimes sit there for an hour. Employees inside are rude and unkempt. I waited for 5 minutes at the register before I was even acknowledged. A customer asked for a tray for her order and was told they were all dirty. Restaurant was dirty inside. Owner asks for comments but doesnt return calls. Stay away from this location.
They are never everrrrrrr open after 10:30 pm. Today I literally had the lights shut off on me while I was in the drive thru. I drive past here on the way to work and get so disappointed when they are not open. It states 24 hrs but that is so far from the truth. They close at all different times but always before 11pm.
Both doordash and Uber Eats said they werent open and tried the McDonalds app and it was the same. Went in person, ordered a lunch combo, got a breakfast with no sides. Tried to correct it, they didnt understand. Got so frustrated I left with the wrong order. It wasnt busy at all, so I know it wasnt a new hire deal.I work in food too. Not hard to turn on the Doordash app and accept an order. Now I cant even call to ask for a refund or to change my order.
It was HORRIBLE, it took 45 minutes to complete my order. When I got home I was still missing a sandwich, the big mac with no onions had had the onions scraped off, so the sauce and lettuce was off too. The normal big mac they had put soggy bacon. I had a larger order $33 worth. The workers were not capable of putting a large order together. They were doing all the small orders first, not that those people werent waiting a long time also. There were people leaving. I did speak to the managers, one was trying. The other manager said she was angry and she Anna, did not have to deal with me. I will not lie, I was angry. I could have went the koney across the street ate my food and been gone for less $$. I also had my 5 year old grandchild with me and 2 more waiting in the car, they were older but were wondering where I was. The only reason I was there is Farmington schools had 1/2 day and I thought Id treat them. It turned into a very frustrating day.
I have come to the conclusion that McDonalds will never be what it once was, despite the new interiors. The service is abominable at most locations. I believe that they should start paying a decent wage so that people would not want to lose their jobs because of poor performance. Owners need to team with and truly support their managers. Managers need to hold their employees accountable. So many do a great job and too many dont.
This McDonalds is one of the worst Ive ever gone too. Dont even bother wasting your money here. The staff is always in a bad mood and they have consistently messed up my order. I dont understand how you miss a double cheeseburger or ten piece nugget so often. Obviously they dont care and it shows from the top down. Just drive somewhere else save your time and money!
If I was able to get them less than one star I would. Do not go here! Unless you want to get covid! Despite what their website would lead you to believe, This store is not covid compliant. every single employee either didnt have a mask on or had it protecting their chin and not over their nose and mouth. when I brought this to the managers attention she could have cared less. She was also one of the ones wearing a mask on her chin instead of over her mouth and nose. The health department and the governor of Michigan need to come in and shut this store completely down! The man running the food from the store out to the cars didnt even bother having a mask on. And I saw two customers onto the store without a single mask and were allowed to sit there and talk with the employees at the front registers while they were waiting for their food. This store does not care about you or your health. go somewhere else@McDonalds headquarters. Hey McDonalds headquarters you really need to pull the franchise from this place before they ruin your good reputation.
I doordash so u can imagine all the different McDonald’s I have been to! This McDonald’s is the cleanest one and neatest one I have seen yet! And great people! Thanks guys for doing an awesome job! From now on I’ll be getting my own person food at this location only!!
Easily the worst McDonalds in southeast Michigan. Expect to wait 10-20 minutes for cold food and poor service.Their credit card machine is down more often than its functional. They have a 24/7 sign at the road, but will tell you theyre not open yet after you wait at the speaker for several minutes.Do yourself a favor and drive the extra four minutes to the nearest McDonalds run by a competent management team.
The menu is behind the counter, small font and one of the screens is actually behind a tall counter. Thats the dollar menu. I guess they dont want anyone to see whats on it. When I asked if they had a menu that was easier to read I was told no thats itWe had fish sandwiches with extra tartar sauce. One had so much tartar sauce that the fish patty was slipping out. The other one had so little it was hard. The fries were good.This McDonalds is old and it looks like it. Everything seems to be a little dim, no sparkle here. But my granddaughter does love the play area. Really the only reason we ever go.
I havent been to this McDonalds in over a year eventhough its the closest to my house. This morning I was reminded why. I was meeting a friend to play on the play scape and have breakfast. The cashier was nice enough. However there was bugs by the soda machine and the play area didnt look clean. Every table was DIRTY and I cleaned ours myself. Thus being reminded of just how disgusting this McDonalds is. I think the health department should probably shut them down right now if they went in there.
I go to this establishment because its convenient. I usually only get the caramel frappe. Yesterday I decided to get the 2 cheeseburger meal since I didnt eat all day and was lightheaded. I regret that. Got so sick. Almost didnt make it to my next stop. Every time I come here in the Afternoon, the wait is so long. Ive left without getting my frappe many times because the wait is so long. I will only wait 10 minutes. After that, Im gone! I cant believe the service here.
Went here to get food for dinner. Placed my order and when I got to the window to pay, the kid working the window acted very strange with my card. He kept trying to walk away with it, and then preceded to tell me that the credit card reader was requiring a PIN number, which was obviously a lie since card readers at a drive thru don’t ask for PIN numbers. I used to work a drive thru so I know how the card readers work, a fact a pointed out to him later. When I asked him to find out why it was doing that, the manager very rudely came over and told me “do you wanna come in here and see?”. There were cars that had already paid ahead of me with their cards and when I pointed this fact out to the manager all she said was “well it’s requiring a pin now.” Thankfully I never got charged for my order and I just left but these people were trying to scam me by trying to get my PIN number. Do not go here!
Had to give one star so that I could put my review on here. Seriously this is the worst McDonald’s I have ever been to. The workers are very rude. They act as though they are being bothered when you’re trying to give an order, In which the orders are always messed up or the item you ordered is unavailable. How can coffee be unavailable? I will no longer go to this McDonald’s and I will surely tell my neighbors and friends and family not to go to this McDonald’s also. And they want $15 an hour ha ha Ha ha ha
I work across the street from this location so it is convenient. Every time I go I just kick myself afterwards because the service is so bad. I could give countless examples of inadequate service that I have experienced. Todays episode included going thru the drive thru...the menu board was not working so you had to pull ahead to place your order..I wanted to order a McGriddle breakfast sandwich but was informed that they had none. While trying to decide on a substitute sandwich the worker also informed me that they had no pop/ soda or water. It never ends ...this is not the first time that they have not had a menu item that I wanted to order. This location is awful !!!
This McDonalds needs alot of help. It has so much potential with the play area and being open 24 hours but they are constantly out of certain items and closing early or only taking cash etc. Ive lived in the area for 2 years and it just gets worse. They need more staff, better training and improved cleanliness.
This McDs is horrible. Lunch time and of course you think they are busy. They or not. There was a lot of cars in the drive thru so it seemed like they were busy. Inside theres a line. However they were slower than molasses trying to flow in 0 degree weather uphill. I asked the cashier if they accepted Google pay. Ask the manager who said yes turns out they dont. Another customer asked them another question they just know the answer too and they didnt. While waiting someone else complained that their order was wrong and another customer complained that their food was cold. We took that as a sign and left seems this McDonalds has improperly trained employees unable to get food orders correct, and incapable of preparing traditional McDonalds fare.
The active manager had a friend in line and only talk to her and completely ignored me at the counter until she special made a batch of fries for her friend and completed her entire order. She just pretending I didnt exist. I have had some awful food experiences in the past and bad experiences with McDonalds but this is by far the most consistently bad. The food comes out cooked improperly. the only reason I ever went here was because it was the closest one to work but now I will be eating elsewhere.
If I could give this McDonald’s -5 stars I would. the shake machine is always down. also, one time I went here I ordered a 6 piece chicken nugget. 20 minutes after waiting, I got 2 chicken nuggets. 2 nuggets. that’s not even an option on the menu, so how are you about to hand it out. also it says it’s open for 24 hours but when I went there at 8:00 pm they said they were closed... it’s dirty, the staff is rude, and idk how this place is still open. I had enough
Horrible experience. The person doing the drive through you cant understand a word she says. So that was horrible. I ordered a double quarter pounder with cheese and I kid you not when I got home it had no meat on it. Literally none. The kids meals were wrong. Things were missing. This McDonalds is literally horrible. How do you forget meat on a double quarter pounder.
Waited 10 minutes for 2 cheeseburgers a tea and coke. Took a couple of minutes to get waited on. Too many employees standing around doing nothing trying to see who would wait on us. When we finally got our order there was no pickle on the cheeseburgers. They also had no ice cream as they were was filling the machine and no cookies. With all the employees standing around and wanting $15 an hour you think they would be working harder. Wont be back to that McDonalds and thinking of never going back to McDonalds again.
Would give 0. Called because they gave me a wrong mcflurry. Not a big deal just wanted to let them know for others order. Manager named myriah answered the phone. Was rude said it was my problem that they didnt call me if the item was unavailable. She gave me a different one because they were out. I would have to call doordash for my money back. I wasnt even asking for it back. I asked when her boss was going to be there and she said she was the boss. I said oh no honey your gm and i mentioned the gm name and told her i was a gm at another store. Because i am. And would be talking with her gm about her job and hungup. If i had a complaint i would take care of it. Not be a b about it. Rude and unprofessional
Place was not clean and in need of a update as most McDonalds are receiving now. The floors were sticky and it was 9am, the tables and seats were covered in food as well. There was no reason for the level of uncleanliness. The day had barely begun for the interior of the restaurant.
This McDonalds is by far the worst one in the Farmington hills area. Service is very slow, they are often busy for no reason. The quality of the food is terrible (even for McDonalds standards), and the staff is casual at best, incompetent and rude at worst. Experiences at this establishment are miserable, and I only return because of its convenient placement.
This MUST be the absolute worst McDonalds there is. Staff could not care less about customer service. Zero hospitality at this location in the late afternoon towards evening. Nothing is done due to the desperation of enployers during this covid time. So.....the customers suffer.
I walked in and could tell the place was run down. Then I go to order and even though they were not busy inside it took a while to get my food. Luckily they did not screw up my order. But I noticed everything was broken. The Ice machine was broken for weeks and still not fixed (My sister went in there two weeks prior and it was still broken), the tables were not clean and the trash was full. I also noticed the people at the drive through ran around the counter to fill up cups from the lobby from that machine. I dont know if the back machine was broken or something? I rather drive further to a nicer and cleaner McDonalds
Despite there being no line in the drive thru we were directed to park off to the side. We soon realized there were two other cars parked and waiting. We recieved our drinks first. The Sprite and the coke we recieved both did not taste right. It wasnt the McDonalds coke I was hoping for to say the least. Food was recieved, luke warm fries on of which in a ripped container. Decently warm nuggets. Burger was ok.
Service slow this morning as always. Lobby closed but no Drive Thru only sign anywhere. The staff is not friendly, and never explains delays, but now I understand why, the managers are the same way. McDonalds is supposed to be known for friendly smiles well this place needs to be completely overhauled!!!
I would give this McDonalds a 0 if I could but I guess we cant. I stopped to get a coke that was all told it would take 10 minutes before I even ordered ...I asked why ..no answer. I said even for a pop....no answer...I sat there for a few decided to leave. I normally go to the one on 7 mile and Farmington since this one is soooo bad no matter what time you go there.
Restaurant was not clean. Ladies room had no paper towels in the dispensers. One toilet was jammed with toilet paper. My wife would not touch the handles to the trash bins because they were so dirty. Makes you wonder how clean they are where they prepare our food. Door has a broken handle on the inside.
The only reason I gave 1 star is because I have to. Ur better off starving then going to this location. Watching paint dry is more fulfilling then waiting for this place. Im hard pressed to find a worse McDonalds. Too much wrong to put in this review. Just take my advice and never eat here
Okay come on, cant even get off the cell phone to take a costumers order and only response is yeah uhuh and then miss two big macs in the order. Now regular straws for drinks only coffee straws. With no one in the store I still had to wait 15 minutes twice when I had to comeback and get my full order corrected. Come on responsibilities shouldnt be that hard...
Fries are frigid, staff us unimaginably slow, and the play room has NO heat.Edit: Im updating my review because I THOUGHT that after a while MAYBE something would be done about this location. I was so wrong. The food is cold, stale, and just generally disgusting. The staff is lazy and rude, and couldnt keep my order correct. I dont know how they havent been shut down, but the store is filthy and disgusting.
Dirty. Dirty. Soda station smelled like pee second worst ive been too pleanty of employes wasnt busy. Had to wipe with a mcdonalds napkin no tolit paper. Manager swept instead of replacing paper 5 other people used the restrooms. nasty smut from heat all over celing. Service was ok took forever to get change. And there was onions on my burger i paid 35 cents for 7 peices of shredded lettuce. we did get fresh frys and no pride in a clean environment.
Says they are open 24 hours, there are 2 cars parked. There is a mop bucket just sitting out, lights on. . . But nobody is coming to take my order. I laid on my horn for like 30 seconds and nobody. These people want to be paid $15 bucks an hour......this is why you make pennies..... too busy smoking weed to do their job. It makes me laugh. But seriously I am very upset, I guarantee I will be getting one of these people fired.
I would not give this McDonald’s any rating!! Overpriced and very rude customer service they can’t take any orders without having to repeat each thing back to you and not sure what they are doing!! You pull up give them your card they look at you and don’t say anything( I said how rude) then drove to pickup order and I told that person also how rude he was and he said OH! They don’t even speak or say hello or have a nice day this pandemic has changed ppl so much were is the respect for one another!, Ppl have no morals any more am I wrong to think that a little gesture can go a long ways just a thank you or something then just a glare!, I live right around the corner from here but will not be returning again at all! This has to be the worst McDonalds out there! It always takes forever, over 50% of the time we stop there, at least one of our items has to be changed because they dont have what we want. The ice machine hardly ever works, they wouldnt make me a caramel frappe because they were out of caramel, and the current problem is that their credit card machine for the drive thru is down, and has been for over a week! The owner, or corporate, or whatever, needs to do a huge overhaul if they want to stay open.
Never again. So proccessing of the order. Had a hard time fixing the order then they failed to make the order right. They had no big mac buns and every one knew cause the kitchen and crew were yelling about it back and forth. The manager is apathetic and has given up on life. The worst part is the lack of food safty as crew members were seen applying lip balm and not wasing their hands after -1000. They need to fire the whole store and replace every one or just close down for good
Complete garbage McDonalds. Several cars in drive thru and no one took any orders. When I drove by the window, they looked away, purposely ignoring me. They choose when they want to be open and when they want to provide service. Every experience here lately has been similar. Lobby closed at 7. Etc... I dont know what happened to this place lately. Read all the recent reviews and they are all similar.
Worst mcds I have ever been to in my life. I odered 2 strawberry smoothies, one for my son thats all he wanted and 1 for my daughter to replace a happy meal drink, and asked the guy if he had gotten both of them over the intercom and he said yes, I went up to the window and only received 1. I asked him again about the other one and he proceded to tell me that I only orderd 1 of them and that he would show me the receipt. I was appaled at this because it doesnt matter what the reciept says all that matters is what I ordered because he puts the reciept together. Now I have 3 dissapointed kids that are hungry because I also heard him coughing in there and I wont let them eat the food he probably coughed all over. Worst mcds ever, someone needs to correct this problem.
Very Dirty seating area and bathrooms were dirty. 1 burger made wrong, one Burger was ordered with no onions and there was four small pieces of onions in there which would kill a burger if you dont like onions. We ordered a sweet tea they gave us unsweet tea without informing us that they had no sweet tea and tried to trick us. Part of a seat is missing which is a safety hazard. There is a piece of metal sticking up in the air.
Worst McDonald’s I’ve been to in a long time. Terrible customer service, seating area was filthy, nothing in the bathroom worked. Was first in line when I walked in and it was 4 minutes before someone took my order and 15 minutes before I had my order (one happy meal and two cheeseburgers...nothing hard). With so many other McDonalds in the area I’ll be going elsewhere.
I would put money on this location closing by 2018 or McDonalds pulling their franchise license.. If I was the owner I would sell this location before its too late to cut your losses.. three people strong on a Sunday lunch but there is a fourth one sweeping the parking lot. Waited twenty min for food then just left because I didnt want to wait the additional 20 min to get ketchup or the BBQ sauce or the tea that was empty and I already had to wait and ask for straws...
The female worker who took my order appeared high and disoriented. Not one time did she give me eye contact or say one word to me until I asked her a question. This young female was extremely negative in her body language and attitude. MCDONALDS please talk to you workers on how to represent your company in a positive manner. The fish sandwich was good.
Horrible customer service at the drive thru. Never had someone ask if my order was complete so many times. Actually called while in line and asked if a manger is available. Apparently the manager is anyone answering the phone. Heard a bunch of riff raff in the background and zero acknowledgement of the poor service. Lets hope our food is good and not pissed on, spit on or jizzed on.
Absolutely the dirtiest McDonalds ive ever seen in my life.No clean trays for us to sit down and eat with a 2 year old.Bathroom worse then a truck stop.Drink station was worse then bathroom. It was legit the biggest mess ever. Im not from around here so thank god ill never return.
I mean ya get what ya paid for, its a dollar a burger. My real issue is that every time I go there their card machine is down and its always cash only this is during the day. Also Im not sure if someone broke into this McDonalds all of everything was broken like the out door menus and a door was broken and covered with wood. This has got to be the filthiest McDonalds Ive ever been in. The food was fine, for McDonalds. They forgot the fries for our kid meal. It was freezing inside. Im far from a germaphob, but I literally did not want to touch anything in the play area or dining area......and the womens bathroom was disgusting. I dont normally leave reviews, but after reading all the same complaints and seeing nothing done....smh how does this store stay open?
By far worst McDonalds Ive ever been too. This franchise should be shut down. Ive been here a lot and now drive miles out of my way to go to a different location. Rarely is a order correct. Typical order goes as the following, place order at speaker, get to window to pay they ask what I ordered again, go to next window they ask what I ordered. Get food, food is wrong. Not only is order rarely correct but they are more expensive then the other McDonalds in the area. This place needs to clean house or shut the location down.
I would have to give them 1 star and thats because of the delicious mcgriddle on the menu but as far as McDonalds overall theyve died out. Too many other small business that serve better quick foods and Wendys and Burger King definitely has a better selection when it comes to the menu. The overseer of McDonalds menu should quickly change it up and get more creative.
Hands down without a doubt the worst fast-food restaurant I have ever been to. Waited over 20 minutes inside to be waited on only to be told they were out of oatmeal sausage and pancakes. And no lids for the large cups. While waiting to order a gentleman came in from the drive threw and said his quarter pounder had no meat. UNBELIEVABLE. I cant understand how this location hasnt had their franchise pulled from them. Also all the employees just stand around talking about non work related stuff while customers wait around. Bottom line is the owner of this franchise couldnt care less. And the West Bloomfield location down the road isnt much better either.
Never made right....like the wraps are ALWAYS made with slice cheese not shreaded. I deliver for Door Dash and Uber Eats and they ALWAYS take forever to get food made and almost never is made right! Only reason why i go to this one is because its a mile from my house.
Great place to go grab a quick bite to eat, I go a lot because of my job which I do at home, if you just want to have a quick burger or youre on a road trip, this is a good place. This is also a great place for kids. The only downside is that the food is sometimes a little messy.
I fully understand how dubious it is to review a McDonalds. But I have nothing better to do while my kid climbs up/down/through the Indoor Petri Dish of Horrors, AKA The Germ Tower of Power, AKA Ronalds Playplace.So to be blunt, this location is pretty disgusting. You can practically glide along the tiled floors like a curler from the film of grease caked on them. Clearly, nobody knows how to use the mop here.Perhaps a bit petty, but it kind of sums up this location: there is one napkin dispenser. It was empty. Instead of refilling the dispenser, a whole case of napkins was just torn open and set on the counter where you order from for people to just grab. From the time we arrived to the time we left, which was probably a solid hour, those napkins sat there on the counter. I watched the cashier continually move the case of napkins because it was in the way. I watched him answer at least two dozen peoples are there any napkins... question as well. Seriously, can someone fill the napkin dispenser please?Lastly (at least for now...I could really go on all day), the entire time there, alarms/beeps/horns whatever were continually going off. Im guessing since there was never any sign of fire or smoke, that these alarms werent from any kind of life safety type emergency, but more like Yo! the fries are done or HEY! Dude in the drive thrus been waiting 5 minutes kind of alarms. And Im talking LOUD...like REALLY loud. Seriously, is there no way to silence them? Do they have to be that loud? The cars in the street all pull to the side of the road when they pass by because they think an ambulance is coming.Staff was friendly enough but clearly indifferent to be there.Food was...well...McDonalds Food.
This place should be shut down!!!! How hard is it to count to 10?!!! Dont ever go through drive through. Ordered 10 nugget meal there were only 4 in the box. Im so tired of getting ripped off by the kids running these places! They just dont give a $#|+ and the managers have no accountability, I asked for store number to write an e mail to corporate, was told they dont have one!
Horrible! This location is poorly managed and filthy. The manager fussed at the employees the entire time when they were apparently doing their best. The floors were disgusting and full of dirt. It was neither busy or inclement weather to where it wouldve been difficult to clean the floors. Never again!!
Don’t waste your time. Everyone in this location is RUDE. I walk in, the door was unlocked, and get yelled at DINING ROOM IS CLOSED! I asked if I could still order and take it to go and they replied NO! There was no sincerity in their voice and they talk to you like garbage with an attitude. I WONT be returning to this location and I’ll be steering people away from it as well. TERRIBLE!
Weak coffee (like dirty water) and their shake machine was down at 2pm in the afternoon on a Saturday?McDonalds, what is this shake machine down conspiracy?Why can you keep them working?Can you purchase better shake machines?Who is the maker of the shake machines?Consider changing vendors of said shake machines?It doesnt seem like only this location has this problem. This is by far one of the worst McDonald’s I have ever been too.. Will not be returning! Every time I come to this place the employees are rude, slow, and all around don’t pay attention. I’ve worked many fast food places so I understand things get messed up, but this has been a problem more then 3 times..
Between never having shakes or yogurt parfait‘s and the staff is extremely rude this McDonald’s is horrible! I don’t understand why the owner puts up with it - does he not read these reviews? If this was my McDonald’s it would truly be revamped it’s in a great location and could do amazing business but with the staff never prepared and nothing ever working I feel like there’s no one watching over what’s going on at this McDonald’s
Food is forgotten or order is often wrong. Once I ordered a salad with no chicken. When the employee handed me my order I made her aware of the mistake. She took the salad back, opened the lid and scrapped the chicken off and handed it back to me. My salad had chicken juice in it :(
Dirt all over and garbage overflowing onto the floor. No napkins in lobbyarea kids area also was filthy seats torn open. Employees look like they dont want to be here. Also should have free fries every Friday employees say no such thing but all other McDonalds do give out free fries with purchase of meal.
Came here on Saturday at 5 pm. Too slow. Playroom was nasty and dirty. It had a full trash bag left out in the open as well as the trash container left wide open for kids to get into. This is not safe. Ask staff to remove and it took one half hour for them to do it. And kids were still playing in the room. I took pics and will be sending them to the headquarters. Trash was left on top of the canister as well as on the floor. I cannot imagine how many germs are in here. The health department needs to be called on this place!!!
Attempted to go inside to the lobby at 7am, unfortunately the lobby doors were still locked, needed a staff member to let me in. The bathrooms were disgusting. The same staff who went to the batbroom, without washing her hands, made my food. So astonished as I saw the manager on her phone, listening to music. Very disappointed.
This store always have some kind of issues. Missing or incorrect food given out, not matching original order. Running out of syrup in the soda machines, long waits, employees always seem to be at loss, not having a clue what theyre doing and just general sense of chaos. And this is every single visit, not an isolated incident. Bad management and bad training.
Dont ask for a Bacon McGriddle here. They dont know how to make them. Its like you have to say everything that goes on it and still they mess it up. I always end up with the little pancakes and a pieces of bacon. Sometimes I have to wait for longer then 20 mins after Ive paid. Dont get to complicated with them or it screws them up. How are they still open?
This facility is horrible!! Traveling though for a quick lunch...NOT....Service was incredibly slow. Ordered chicken nuggets..they were disgusting!! They tried to remake them, didnt help, still terrible! And THAT even took forever to try to fix!! I just asked for my money back for the nuggets so my kids and I just ate fries for lunch!!
Im at a location on orchard lake rd. The drive thru line was so long I decide to go inside. While inside I see another long line. Had to repeat my order repeatedly. The soda machine wasnt working right. No ice coming out and to top it off no toilet paper in the ladies room. Horrible experience
Like others have experienced, my orders are rarely correct or well made. We ordered holiday pies yesterday excited they still had them only to recieve old rock hard pies with solid custard. We had also ordered for no onions, but instesd recieved what could have been a months supply of onions on our burgers. And this no refund policy is obsurd. Next time Im feeling quick greesy burgers Ill go down telegraph.
Wish i could post a 0 star. Not only are they selling fake meats, but they are still using the term fast food? The line is long and slow, the food is unedible and overpriced. Whatever happened to the dollar menu? I would not recommend, expecially when there is a good hamburger shop at the corner right next to it.
This is THE MOST NEGLECTED McDonalds North of Detroit. Its Poorly staffed, managed and maintained. The ice dispenser hasnt worked since mid summer, the bathrooms havent been updated in years and the seating areas are unclean. The Franchisee should Lose the right to associate his fast food Dive with The Golden Arches! Sad, Sad, SAD!!!!

2022-07-20I ordered a fish meal and it only had a dab of tater sauce on it the box had ketchup on it so it got in my white shirt d you I didn’t have ketchup on anything the fries were ok just needed salt See the pictures I added a picture of the fries to shoe that I didn’t have ketchup I tried calling them cause I couldn’t go back cause I was on my way to my second job b stayed busy

2021-09-21Wow. I understand when a business is short staffed but this is unreal. I waited 40 minutes in drove thru while they cleared out all the cars in front of me and door dash drivers. When someone took my order, many more items were crossed out. I couldnt tell if the employee was talking to me or someone else. Dont bother stopping here for a quick bite.

2022-06-05Literally the worst fast food experience ever. I ordered on the mobile app. I waited at the curbside pick up for over 10 minutes. I ended up calling the store and talking to the manager. She said there was no record of my order. I went into the store and she realized that they did have record of the order but then she told me that they didn’t have enough employees to do curbside delivery. When I asked for the food to be remade because it had been sitting there for over 10 minutes and looked disgusting I got a lot of push bag. I then asked for a refund and got pushback again and was told I had to contact customer service for a refund.

2022-07-03Ordered a pickup. Waited curbside for over 40 min and finally went inside to see why the order got completed even though we didn’t get the food. They refused to give us our food or give us a refund and told us to go wait in the drive through line and repurchase everything. Then told me to dispute the transaction on the app and it will take 90 days to get the money refunded. Literally stealing money.

2022-04-12Literally always an issue at this place. Out of beef, cash registers arent working, drive thru speaker is broken, oops gave you the wrong order. Ive never once walked away from this location being satisfied. No clue how theyre still in business as this has been the norm at that location for years.

2022-04-19I hate coming here. The worst Mc Donald’s. One time I ordered a large coffee and they tried to convince me that the medium they gave me was the large because they ran out of large cups. Mary was so rude last time I went and I didn’t expect that from her. I was trying to tell her my door dash number and she cut me off and yelled at me to go to the last window. Not sure what happened but this place sucks now. Needs better attitudes for sure.

2022-07-21I live around the block, so Ive had the misfortune of settling for this McDs location several times, and I promise I am not exaggerating at all when I say that this is the worst fast food establishment Ive ever patronized. Maybe there are a handful of super hood places that were aesthetically dirtier, but this place fully deserves the one star regardless. Its amazing how they find creative new ways to disappoint me every time Im there. This time my orange juice was watered down to the point of being orange flavored water. Other times it takes 20 minutes to serve three cars. There are the classics like the ice cream machine is down and obviously screwing up orders. I tried to use the app thats being heavily advertised to pay, and there were a few problems that led them to trying to get me to pay in cash when Id already had my card charged. The food quality is often poor - inexplicably cold food, etc. Ill note here that I do NOT blame the employees there - even the managers for the most part. Ive worked at McDs and it is a grueling, thankless job. I have sympathy for everyone there. With problems this persistent and widely varied, it has to be the owner that is simply lazy and incompetent. This place is known around the neighborhood as awful. Its like a given truth for anyone that lives near it. The owner should be ashamed of his or her self for not being there personally managing things and getting stuff up to snuff. I have to assume (s)he is content to have a garbage establishment and just rake in the income doing the bare minimum. This place sucks. Ownership is terrible.

2022-05-28Horrible service every time. Staff turn over rate is horrible as well so every day its a new level of incompetence at the window and on the grill. Whether its debating on how many packs of jelly you can have in the breakfast or whether you really told them no mayo.... the only guarantee you will get from this place is frustration.

2022-07-27Likely the worst McDonalds Ive ever been to. They accepted an app order 10 minutes before closing then refused to give me the food once i got there. The drive through is randomly not staffed sometimes but there is never any sign or anything saying anything is closed and its been this way for the last 6 months.

2022-03-10Although there were only 3 cars in front of me, I had to wait 16 minutes. Since they do not have 4D meal or any spicy chicken sandwiches, I ordered 4B meal with one Buffalo sauce. I was charged $0.25 for the sauce! The chicken sandwich had nothing but a piece of chicken. The meal did not include any napkins. I found all that after I drove away. It was an awful experience.
