Menards in other cities:
I guess I wont get into it because Im kind of frustrated with this whole thing, and I have typed up submitted, deleted erased, type up two other stories, and none of it really gets to exactly what I want to say so Ill just leave it as this. I came from over 60 miles away, and there are other Menards that are 60 miles in the other direction of where I live. So I will start going 60 miles in the other direction because this Menards is not perfect. Most of them are! But not this one.
Have been a long time customer of Menards. I love the store but have had enough of horrible customer service. I have continued to patronize Menards with the hope that the customer service end of things would improve but it hasnt. The most unfriendly staff I have ever encountered. Not one person ever asked if I needed help of asked if I had any questions regarding product. Then there are the cashiers that dont even acknowledge you. or ask if I found everything o.k. I am not one to post reviews about my shopping experiences but in this case I HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF MENARDS. They will not receive one more penny of my money. Completely disgusted with this store.
Overall, I like Menards and visit their stores for a variety of items for work and for home. My only nitpick would be that several of their items, tools specifically, are not of the greatest quality and they do not carry my preferred brand of cordless tools. Nonetheless, they usually have what Im looking for at a fair price, and their occasional 11% rebate promotions are a deciding factor in where I will choose to purchase certain items.
I bought flooring to pick up a week later. They sold half of my order from under me and refused to get more within the four days I have until my contractor arrives to install it. They have 32 cases in Big Rapids.... Im in Traverse. They refuse to ship it to me. Stole my time and product. Save your time and go to Home Depot.
I have done a lot of shopping here as of late. Customer service is touch and go here. A young man named Josh in the building supply area was awful and had no interest in helping me. He told me I should come back when I knew exactly what I needed. I told him I wanted to work with someone else, he had no problem with it and moved me over to someone else. No apology, nada. So another young gentleman took the time to help me figure out the supplies I would need. Jeremiah. Today I went in and asked someone who was working on shelves if I could ask them a question.... He didnt even look up, signed heavily and said whats your question? HOWEVER, Connie who works at the front/return desk is amazing and always helpful. She is someone who should work in customer service and actually cares. Thanks Connie!
Ordered on-line. Was sent out to pick up my items, only they were not all out there. Came back to ask them where the particular item was (after looking where we were directed to look for 30 minutes) and they told us we had to come inside for those! After a bit, being put on hold for 10 minutes, I called the number again and was told he would find someone. (Not very nicely) to do that for me but it was NOT something they do!
I will never enter this store again as they have no common sense. I was in the store today pricing flooring. I was the only person in the aisle writing notes on a tablet with my mask pulled down. Nobody within 20 feet off me. I wear glasses and wearing a mask fogs my glasses up so I cant make notes for my bid. While doing this an employee approached me to tell me that I needed to put a mask on. I explained to him that I couldnt see with it pulled up because it fogged up my glasses and that the only person breaking protocol was him because he was now closer than six feet from me. Because I refused to pull my mask up I was escorted out of the store. Just a little common sense on his part would have gone a long way. Nobody was within 20 feet of me until he approached me and had they been I would have put a mask on. I will never spend another dollar here. Beware of the minimum wage maximum authority people.
The sales people at Menards are usually respectful and friendly. I needed to exchange a propane tank this morning and the young man Matt was not friendly or polite. He was irritated that he had to walk out to the propane storage area. There was also an elderly man waiting to exchange his tank. After we got our tanks and the employee walked away he committed on how rude the young man was. Good help is hard to find I guess.
They seem to pick and choose who they will do returns to. I went in with a who received in the item in the Box and they would only offer me store credit or the money back on my card but it was a Christmas gift so I didnt have the card because it wasnt mine so I had to take store credit, and then the next time I went in I was in the exact same situation and they gave me cash back. I dont know if it is just a personal preference or a store wide policy but it would be cool if I didnt have to spend the money I received for Christmas in Menards only
This is a favorite place to get everything I need for care & maintenance of our family home on the lake, from tools & materials for DIY projects to appliances, things for the garden, lighting, paint...even a grocery & pet food/supplies section. My stepbrother (who works in construction) visited us a few summers ago and he thought Menards was the greatest thing ever and didnt want to leave, lol. He was like a kid at Christmas. I especially appreciate their 11% off everything sales - the rebate form is easy to fill out and the money comes in handy for our future purchases! Five stars! :)
Bought appliances, sales people were awesome but when I came to pick up it was a cluster, nobody knew where to go, cones all over, we have a trailer on and cant just move over, they brought my fridge out and never taped the shelves in, my glass shelf on the bottom broke.there was a blond haired kid there doing all the work, and a manager doing not much, no public relations or communication.
Terrible customer service. Very poor management. Common tactic is to prepare pick up orders with either broken items or so items will break before you can leave the store. Today I brought this situation to front end manager Terrance Hedenreich and he confirmed it is how the store does business. If I wanted the items undamaged I would need to purchase more.Dont shop here. Home Depot and Lowes are just a little bit further up the road and the people there care about you.
Menards is a very large store. It has numerous items that I was not even aware that they sold. The store was very clean, the staff was exceptional and I was able to find exactly what I was looking for. I was especially surprised at the numerous cleaning and disinfecting supplies that they had in stock. There were items here that you cant find anywhere else. I will certainly be shopping here at Menards for all my covid cleaning supplies. Great Job Menards!!!
Big, nice selection. I was pleasantly surprised to see full throttles in a case of 8 for only 10$. Great selection of lighting fixtures. Early August and they have their Halloween decorations already. Beat black Friday place to shop. Everyone organized and polite on the most chaotix day of the year. Very convenient to have work related food there as well like energy drinks by the case and very large bags of chips. I do wish there was more indoor furniture available. The one in Mount pleasant even had couches.
Menards we go to all the time. Its clean and nicely organized. I buy bird food every week and a half and they have the best prices for sunflower seed, bird seed and especially suet. Not to mention you receive another 11% rebate on your purchase win win! Employees are always kind, helpful and professional. I really enjoy Menards of Traverse City. I know in less than two weeks we will be back. Best part they are keeping the store safe due to covid-19 they care about your health. Mask is required. The places that do not require masks have lost our business. Thanks Menards for your kindness, help and caring about people during the pandemic 💜
We love Menards. They have everything. It was wonderful to see the sign during this covid time before entering MASKS MUST BE WORN IN THE STORE and we did not see anyone without a mask.We WISH we had a Menards in Gaylord MI instead of having to drive an hour and a half to get to the closest Menards.
A forklift operator dropped a 500lb 6x6 on my foot and crushed it. I couldn’t walk for months. Menards did nothing for me. One star is still to high of review for this company. I will keep the outcome updated. If a higher up Menards employee sees this please fee free to call and make this right.
We travel 2+ hours to shop at Menards. We recently ordered steel roofing for our home. We called menards, they told us to come in and talk with their building supply manager. The first problem that occurred was we were told I am to busy to help you, just leave your list and sketch. I will call you back with estimate. My husband told them we needed 23 foot sheets. They ordered them 6 inches short..our fault didnt check out order ..we are still waiting for reorder. The special order lumber was rotten and cracked. We talked with several local contractors and they told us they do not use Menards because of poor customer service, slow delivery and substandard materials. I agree, will not shop there again. The Traverse city store is very hard to work with, but I have to say that the Escanaba store was clean and all employees wore masks and all customers were required to also.
This store refuses to abide by local mask regulations, if you can’t wear one for medical reasons they will not let you in the store. They will send multiple people to scream at you until you leave, or they call the police and have you trespassed. I took my business to Home Depot where I’ve already spent $10k in home renovations. As well as many friends will no longer shop any menards.
Only giving them one star because it wont allow me to post this review with zero stars!Extremely disappointed with Traverse City Menards and will no longer be shopping there! We followed their face mask rule the entire time we were in the store! We had to call our bank while in the checkout and confirm with them that we were trying to complete a transaction. The woman couldnt fully understand me so I pulled my mask down off of my nose so hopefully she could hear me better. I was then told by an employee that if I wasnt able to talk on the phone with my mask on then I needed to leave the store!
Horrible customer service! 60 bundles of shingles were placed on my husbands trailer in the wrong color. Figured it out once all the shingles were on top of the roof. Had to get them all back on a trailer and drive 45 minutes back to the store. Spoke to 3 managers who told me there is nothing they can do for the misunderstanding. One manager, Megan, told me my husband may have told the worker where his shingles were and that why they got loaded. Blaming the customer. That’s great. We have done so much business with them I’m in shock they wouldn’t want to make it right. Just lots of “sorry’s.”
When we arrived a man met us at the door and demanded we wear a mask to be in the store, we noticed several employees wearing masks on their chin, hanging around their neck etc. Then said we could buy a mask from the girl wearing one around here neck. My husband said he wasnt going to do it and the man actually put his hands on him and shoved him . We will be shopping at Lowes for the rest of the supplies to build our house. They have taken this way too far, luckily my husband is very nice, others might not have taken to being shoved by Menards employee. Very unprofessional
Customer Service leaves a LOT to be desired. My wife and I were shopping there today looking at countertops. I had a great deal of trouble tracking down someone to answer a couple of pertinent questions I had. If I could give individual reviews, Liz who helped us, would have received five stars, her service was outstanding, however she was preceded by an individual who literally ducked me and ran off. We made our selections and proceeded to the checkout. Mind you, the two of us also had our two year old son and large awkward countertops. We forget to grab the receipt and immediately return for it, only to find it was ripped in half by the cashier and the service manager told me they couldnt reprint it. They told me to tape it back together . Upon exiting the store I was explaining the situation to my wife, and another customer overheard and stated she witnessed the cashier ripping the receipt while we were walking away. Not trying to get our attention, no. To add insult to the whole situation, my wife went back in with the ripped up receipt and LO AND BEHOLD, they were able to reprint it, so they LIED to me. This isnt the first issue weve had with this particular Menards and I can only believe that management is training these people in this fashion. Menards needs to clean house at this store, when customer service is superceded by protocol, you have a problem and I have other choices where to purchase my materials.
April 30, 2020 I lost respect for Menards in Traverse City. Walking into the front door we were told we had to wear a mask to enter. Really? They are only $1. Thats not the point. We left and will no longer shop here. Went into two other like stores no issue. Bought what we needed and left. Didnt sneeze or cough. This is wrong. Imagine 19 cases of Covid-19 in all of Grand Traverse County. Almost at the end. Cases falling. Menards decides now you have to wear one. Its not a law. Well Menards. Bad call. Wake up. Common sense. What do you care. One less customer.
Bad, they sent two different colors of wood fencing, didnt deliver all my products, nobody that works there knows when peoples product is at their building or still being shipped, products can be sitting in their building and they will tell you they dont have it in? They are very unorganized
NOT happy. My husband had to load a bunch of heavy stone into our trailer.....six workers standing and watching a semi get unloaded . How about asking a customer if they need help?? And the semi parked right in the middle in back where it was extremely hard to get by ...he could have parked a bit left or right so itd be easier for vehicles to get by....but who cares about anyone else..
They just have more stuff. Every time I wonder if theyll have a roof vent boot, or a special vinyl siding part, or 5/8 green board drywall, they have 3-4 choices in stock locally on items like that where the other box stores only have it on their website. The whole drive around back and check in and check out at the gate process is a bit annoying but understandable for inventory control and theft prevention.
Very disappointed in this store and service. Received a custom window that was completely wrong and the windows manager, Kyle, basically blew us off on the phone after a 20 minute wait to get a hold of someone. Went down to the store and he blew us off in person. NO customer service skills and an attitude. He could not have cared less and made it abundantly clear that we were nothing but a pain in his you know what. We are still waiting for the replacement window that he said he would see if he could rush, but we all know that he didnt.
I was refused service today because I did not have a mask on. The store manager escorted me to front of store after I was all the way in back at contractors desk and no one said anything to me. He told me if I didnt leave he was calling the police. The face mask thing has gone to far Darrin Vissers. Many people will be boycotting Mernards including me.
Mask nazis during the continued scamdemic. We were in the store for all of 2 minutes and were harassed by at least 4 employees and threatened with having the GM coming to where we were before we decided to leave on our own. Will not be returning to this or any menards anytime soon.
Discriminatory business. I am not able to cover my nose with a mask, and re-breathe my own air without getting dizzy and lightheaded. I wore a face covering, as per the sign on the door, however I did not make it cover my nose for aforementioned health reasons. The older lady at checkout was rude and discriminatory. She refused to scan the one item because of the position of the mask - even though I was following advertised company policy by wearing a face covering. Both she as well as the female general manager told me I was not welcome in their store unless I complied with their exact placement of the surgical face mask. I will take my business elsewhere to Blains Farm and Fleet as well as to Lowes and Home Depot. This business and its discrimination against people who understand they have a medical exemption(as per the Governor of MI and her executive order) have soured me to patronize this store again.
A few weeks ago, I was shopping at Menards for the renovation of my new house. After loading up all the carts and going through the register I asked for assistance to help load my car. I was greeted by a young gentleman named Cody who helped me load everything quickly and easily. Will be coming back for more!
I was appalled and extremely disappointed when a watched employees of Menards in Traverse City Michigan descend on a poor women when she suffered an anxiety attack while wearing her mask when shopping. She told the first person what was going on and every employee that responded kept saying it doesn’t matter you have to put you mask on, what a disgrace and a failure of management and ownership. I and others just left our carts of stuff and walked out, and no one cared or even tried to ask us why. First off you are not required to wear a mask if it cases a medical problem, and you cant even ask its called “HIPPA” but that being said, the lack of leadership is stunning. I always thought stuff like this would never happen in the U.S. because we had strong leadership in the Captains of Industry who would stand up with us and fight for our rights and for justice. Wow was I wrong they all rolled over and showed their privet parts in a show of obedience and compliance. Well I would like to tell these leaders that it is your business and you can run it any way you would like, but it is our Money and we can spend it where we want, this wont last forever, but I hope people will remember these actions and the way they sold us down stream, all in the name of profit and compliance. Let’s not all be sheep and herd back up and get in line, let them know that we will not take it anymore, and take your money elsewhere.
For any stick of lumber longer than 8 you have to go to the contractors desk, they have to invoice what ever amount you want, pay for it up front at the checkout, drive around back, pick your product, than have them check you product at the gate. Seems like a very tedious process. I can go to the competitor, grab one off the shelf and pay for it at the checkout and take with me saving 10-15 minutes.
Love, Love, Love this place! All under one roof. Read a review about someone going elsewhere, I know for a fact that store could not beat your prices...even with a discount!!! Went out tonight to do some comparison shopping, that place was the most expensive! People ask my Hubby if he has a room there, he shops so much, especially when 11% back is on...ALL THIS WEEK FOLKS! We buy so much there and have never really had a problem at all and customer service had always been good!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!
Worst customer service ever. The old hag they have working at the cash register and should not be working in customer service. We left our cart full of items and the new bbq grill we were going to purchase near the front when we had to deal with the hag cashier That is our 2nd time in a row dealing with rude customer service. We will never be back.
Excellent store with great customer service. Menards seems to carry just about everything for the home and fairly priced. This store is located in a very busy area, but is accessable from from different directions. For me, Menards is a great place to go when looking for something specific or just to browse.Another great shopping experience at Menards.
I have always been happy with the service i have gotten except today😟 I bought some patio blocks, i had to make 2 trip to pick them up. The first trip went GREAT the yardman was very helpful! The second trip no 1 helped i asked for help at the gate i waited 10 mins til i went in the store and asked again 20 mins later i hot a hilow to lower the pallet of the 2nd high shelf 4 me and still No 1 helped me load them 41 of them with a BAD SHOULDER very unhappy
Menards does have just about everything, thats for sure. What is lacking at this store is the amount of open checkout lanes at any given time. Even the self checkouts are closed. Strange to offer so many products, but if you want to purchase them, you have to go to our 2 open checkout lanes.
Ive never experienced such incompetence. Ordered a product, rented truck to pick up only to find they did not have enough and had to order. After not receiving word order was in, I called and the associate said it was in (or at least thats what the computer says) isnt there a check list or tracking of some sort? Unfortunately Ive already paid for it otherwise I would go elsewhere. I will for future projects. Horrible. Three attempts with time off work.
I hate being that person at the end of the night. But the snowblower I wanted wasnt in stock, so they had to get the display model down for me. They couldnt have been nicer and more patient. I know what its like to work all day and have a customer come in 20 minutes before close and require extra attention that keeps you past your closing time. They even helped load it in my truck. Thank you Becky and the 2 men that helped me out at TC Menards.
I wish I could rate this place lower. Went in with two other women to pick up a lumber order. We knew exactly what we needed and are well versed in lumber language. Every single man (save for one) treated all three of us like infants. The constant talking down and contradicting information made a hour and a half trip into a 3 hour trip
Dont buy Ideal Doors from Menards. You dont find out until after youve paid for it that your doors not going to be shipped until a month later. I could have bought it for $10 more and had it sooner. The savings was not worth the wait. And after several attempts to reach vender, Clopay Building Products, which all went ignored I might add, I finally reached out to Menards. They did nothing, didnt seem to even care I was dissatisfied. Decietfull advertising and poor internet technical support on Menards part.
My Dad set up and ordered a complete garage building package from Menards. I have neen assisting from the start and it has been a disaster. The brick was special ordered, however it came in multiple colors that were not requested, it took more time and hassle to get that straightened out than it should have. OSB was received with footprints on them as if someone laid them down and was walking all over them, a piece actually came with liquid nails spread on it as if it had already been used. In the final stages when installing $3,000 + garage doors, 3 out of 10 custom panels came severely damaged to the point that they could not be installed, which called for more dealing with customer service and an even longer wait time IF new ones are issued. This place is anything but professional, and their materials are nothing spectacular. Cheap and poorly quality inspected. I would not recommend if you are trying to build something nice or in a timely manner.
I rate the customer service of Dan as zero. My daughter called up to this store and talked to Dan requesting if they had a certain number of retainer wall blocks and he told her yes. She asked him three times because of the distance my husband had to drive and take a trailer to pick them up to complete their retainer wall. When my husband arrived the number they needed and asked Dan if they had was not there in the store. Its sad when you double check with a salesperson before you make a long drive that they cant get off their butt to double check. This is the last time we will do business with this Menards.
Normally, this the best place to get lumber and such. But today is different. They have made so many mistakes that now they are blaming their new people. Im sorry that isnt the way to do things. If Menards wasnt a hour away but you are. Need to pull together and be a better team. Know what lumber is inside and what is outside. Dont tell to just pull ahead when that is exit only. Just wish you were closer. Thank you for listening. Normally would rate a 5+.
Menards had everything we needed and ee got all the help we needed with 2 team members assisting us (I didnt get their names though). Found Slime air compressor (team member recommended) and snow blower spark plug and oil and anti freeze for power washer. Thankful for assistance and Menards is only 2 miles from home.
Was there at 9:00am hardly any one in the store and lots of staff walking around one on the phone & we still have to wait for someone for another department to help us with plumbing. After we got the paperwork we need to pick up our order out back there was no one around to help us find the right parts so was not very in pressed with the service.
Got a few steps away from the register after paying, before we got a chance to turn back to get the reciept, the cashier grabbed it and ripped it up. Then told us she couldnt reprint it. Finally found someone who could reprint. They said it is their policy to tear up receipts....she didnt even attempt to give us achance to get it or try to give it to us. All other stores can reprint a reciept....Worst Menards. We have been to several other Menards. The one in Traverse City is by FAR the ABSOLUTE WORST.
Eric the front end manager is very unprofessional! We purchaed 39 bags of insulation and was told by the sales guy to reserve the insulation blower a day in advance. We called to reserve it and Eric said they dont reserve them but he would make an exception this time. We arrived to pick it up and he rented it out to someone and said he had to make a choice. He didnt even call to give us a heads up! He didnt apologize... he just had a few excuses! So we took a day off from work to coordinate this project. Had family waiting... all for nothing. Because of an incompetent individual! He definitely shouldnt be in management!!!
The guy working customer service/returns accused my husband of lying to me and when went so far as to say he had audio, and went through this whole (fake) scenario of the conversation. He then backtracked when my husband said he wasnt even the one he spoke to. It was a woman. This should have been a simple transaction...being lied to, then being lied to about being lied to, and then being shamed for being lied to, by a customer service rep at your store doesnt make anyone want to trust anything an employee says there.
I was visiting this Menards in traverse City...here for a funeral and had to help my in laws with house projects. I stopped by and got what I needed...love the customer service, neatness, great prices, friendly staff! I think Menards is better than HD! Wish we had Menards out on the East Coast!
I was discriminated against by Menards in Traverse City on 09/29/20.I am medically exempted from whitmers executive order requiring masks in public places due to severe mental illness.Menards refused me service and at my request the police were called.I informed all involved that Im a cmh client with mental health disorders. Which includes PTSD and schizophrenia. My civil rights and the rights given by the ADA were violated. I was embarrassed and humiliated.
I like Menards because they have most everything a household may need. But this last visit I notice a lack of help. And over this passed year I have seen a need for more motorized handicapped carts. People are always waiting for them. Wheelchairs dont work if you alone.
Seems like all the materials we need (such as lumber, insulation, drywall etc..etc..) is outside in the yard and recently they have moved even more product outside. The problem is the yard is ALWAYS understaffed and the customer is left to fend for themselves. Find your own materials and load them yourself. We have shopped there many times and its always the same. Its always a chore and frustrating.
During this crisis menards is privately owned and can make their own rules we already know the masks dont do very much as far as protection goes. The social distancing is more important then the masks and menards in traverse city is not social distancing at all what a joke. Keep your distance it does more then wearing a pointless mask you have lost my business now and forever. Heres an idea menards maybe limit how many people are coming into that store your parking lot is packed already. And wearing a mask in your lumber yard outside is just ignorant.
Menards corporate has decided to reorganize the stores in such a way that makes it extremely inconvenient to obtain the items that youre looking for. In addition to this they refuse to take any feedback unless its in writing. Therefore in addition to wasting your time while you try to shop there, you have to waste more time to provide any kind of feedback on the services that they provide.
They used to have the building materials counter in the front they now moved it to the back of the store. So no if you want a 2x4 you have to walk to the back of the store. Find and employee then get a pick ticket and go to a cash register. Then drive around the building to the security gate and talk to the guard then find where they put the 2x4’s. Then drive back to the security gate. All this for a single 2x4.
The plumbing manger Eric (Traverse City, MI) is one of the most insulting people that Ive ever dealt with (Ill try to snap a picture of him for this post).Over the past 2 years I have built a 30x50 stick built garage and a 3 story ICF (Fox Block) house; all of which I purchased at Menards. The guys back at the Pro Desk are totally professional, and give discounts to keep me coming back. When I went to purchase the wood fireplace insert and chimney pipe I spent $2600 on and asked Eric if he would be willing to give me a break on it and his exact words were, I dont give discounts to any Joe Blow that walks in here. To say the least I was incredibly offended. If Eric would have given a smile and a simple, Sorry, but thats as low as I can go it would of felt much less offensive.I had planned to purchase my windows and doors there but from his response I will go elsewhere.Good work Eric, you just ran off a loyal customer!
I have shopped at Menards throughout the Midwest for years. This Menards is by far the worst. Their floor workers (particularly flooring) and customer service simply do not care. I waited around for over 20 minutes while the one worker in flooring sat on the phone. Went to customer service and was similarly ignored. Finally, found some one to direct me to bay 11 to pick up my large online flooring order, only to sit there for another 20 minutes with no help in sight. Got out of my car in the January northern Michigan temps to go back in the store where I found three workers just standing around chatting. Asked if anyone could help me find my order and someone did eventually pull themselves away to find it. Needless to say, I will be going to Home Depot or lowes for the remaining supplies for this project and future projects as well.
Cant say anything good about this store.I drew a picture of the style of door I needed,Took the salesman by the hand and showed him what I wanted.Ordered the doors and they came in with the wrong style panel. Now Menards is charging me a restocking fee on 5 doors.Ill never shop at the Traverse City Menards again
Arbitrary enforcement of mask orders by requiring masks, but ignoring exemptions. Not following mask orders that allow for medical exemption! Stopped at the door and told to order online. Online shopping doesn’t give enough details on the product I need to make the purchase.
First time Ive been there that I couldnt get answers to my questions. There were plenty of staff members in the garden center but none of them knew where the herbs were. I finally found one thing I was looking for and went to checkout. Only one register was open and there were 8 in line. I put back my selection and left.

2022-05-25I decided to create my own hanging baskets this year but had no idea how to do so. Becky in the garden center was SO helpful! In between many people requesting her help and advise, she aided me in deciding on plants that would work well together in a basket. With her positive attitude and ready smile she made an experience that could have been stressful a true pleasure. Thank you, Becky!

2022-02-24Location is very convenient and great for homeowners. The guys at the contractors desk are helpful however menards is not convenient for contractors in general, having to go to the back to get a ticket, then walk up front to the registers, then drive around to the security check and then drive in back to collect materials and then back through security. Many of the other associates also seem to have chip on their shoulder.

2022-05-20They move things that should not move. It took asking three associates for where the line irrigation couplings were till someone took the time to understand I wasnt looking for yard irrigation but line water irrigation. It was a smaller display from years past with fewer selections and less quantity of couplings.

2022-05-05Well - just don’t know where to start.1- employees walked away as I was asking for help2- went to check out and needed 50 cement borders (we took one for reference / pricing) and when the cashier was told that we needed 49 more she said that we would have to go to the lumber section and get a yard ticket to pickup and return to checkout to complete sale.3- when we went to pickup cement borders the Hilo driver brought the skid to me to load - that was great but when I went to leave the yard through the security gate it was testy. There was only one person working yard entrance and exit. The person in front of me pulled through after being checked and the Stop gate arm was in the open position. I pulled my pickup forward so the women security person could check the contents in the rear bed of the truck. The Stop gate was still in the open position but then it came down on the hood of the truck. Thankfully the Stop gate arm was padded- no damage. Bet this wasn’t the first time!!!But I did explain to the security person what happened , her comment to me was and in a very disrespectful voice was “ you pulled too far up dude”!I was going to go inside to talk to a manager but I’m feeling that in todays workforce or lack off nothing won’t have been done.I will not go back to this store in the future. Can spend my time and money elsewhere.

2022-05-17I’ve had to call this store a few times about deliveries. I can tell their employees are always swamped but they are so diligent and helpful. Thank you to whomever works in deliveries! You guys always go above and beyond to help.
