Menchies Frozen Yogurt in other cities:
Joyce and her team are wonderful. I went to Menchies to enjoy my free birthday treat, along with my mother and my 13 year old son. We were greeted warmly and when I expressed a desire for cinnamon frozen yogurt all three employees started brainstorming what flavor of cinnamon they might have and when they might next have it in. But when I clarified that I was really talking about real cinnamon one remember that in the back they had a container of ground cinnamon. So she brought it out and I was able to add it to my peach frozen yogurt and it was scrumptious. I was really impressed by how all three of the employees gave me their attention. I should mention that the store was relatively slow at that moment.I posted this review about 4 years ago and Google just prompted me to update it. Wow! I dropped off my now 17-year-old son to enjoy some Menchies with his buds and he had a great time.
Our familys frozen treat shop of choice! I ADORE the passion fruit sorbet- its so tough to find authentic passion fruit flavor anywhere outside a fresh passion fruit. The cake flavor, dulce de leche, roasted marshmallow, and pineapple sorbet are excellent choices, too. I like that they carry vegan and sugar free options. People with limited diets are more likely to be able to enjoy a treat here, too. Also, the fresh fruit toppings that they carry are varied and usually fresh and tasty.
Stopped in here because they had frozen yogurt. I asked to sample them so the worker let me try the 2 flavors that they had. Before I could get the spoon out my mouth. The what I assumed was the manager said very rudely can you put your mask on. I understand Covid but she didnt even give me a chance to get the spoon out my mouth. Needless to say I left without making a purchase. I didnt want to patronize a very rude establishment, the samples werent even good. The worker wasnt even wearing gloves when she handed me the sample if they are so concerned with being Covid compliant.
The staff was super helpful. They helped me figure out what I could and could not have (several allergies and Celiac) and were very kind about it. The flavors are continually changing, which is cool. And a lot of the flavors are not traditional and its really fun. Plus, everything tastes great. The toppings bar is always full and the counter clean. You pay by weight, so it can be easy to overspend. But its worth every penny.
I had never heard of Menchies Frozen Yogurt until I moved to Canton recently. When I visited Menchies for the first time I was pleasantly surprised. They have a variety of yogurt flavors, many of which I tested, and they were all very good. But the best part is the dozens of toppings you have to choose from: fruits, candies, flavored syrups, etc. The employees are very friendly and the atmosphere is fun and family oriented. I will definitely be back.
Love love love this place! Their pineapple sorbet is to die for. My girls also like all their chocolatey flavors and all the fun toppings you can put on it. Plus it being a franchise were able to still go here even though we moved, since our favorite Froyo place is no longer convenient.
Beautiful store! Friendly employees! Seven frozen yogurt machines with 14 complimentary flavors in each of the hoppers. Making them delicious to swirl together. Yum!! A nice display of frozen cakes and stuffed toys. Plenty of seating inside and on the patio! Obviously, the owner is proud and treats employees well
My friend and I stepped in to get some frozen yogurt and it was a absolute wild house. The staff just ignored it. I normally have a great experience here, but there were kids running around taking every single sample. One even bumped into me, I feel like there needs to be some kind of limit as to how many samples you can try. We literally had kids running all around us to try every single flavor.
As a capitalists, I love this idea. Heres a huge bowl and all the stuff you love, go crazy, oh and I am charging you buy the ounce so you only pay for what you truly love. As a human being, I am walking out with a $10 sundae. That being said they have a pleasing assortment of frozen yogurt flavors, the add on are never stale or taste old, and the store seems to have the correct amount of staff to handle the large volume. Cleanliness was better than average.
Absolutely terrible!! I wish I could rate it 0 stars... My son is highly allergic to peanuts! I asked if the m&m’s were peanut free and the employee working (Kyle) confirmed many times that it was safe... my son went into immediate shock as soon as he took a bite!!! PLEASE WATCH OUT FOR CROSS CONTAMINATION, PROTECT YOUR KIDS
I was having a bad day already, I was on my way home and decided to stop at Menchies. Well that was the WORST decision I ever made. If I ever see the girl who stepped on my shoe and threw me out of here outside of canton I swear on everything I love I will stop at nothing to make sure this establishment is shut down within a year. I have important people in my family and I have been known to have places shut down at the snap of my fingers. I will see the day this Menchies goes down in flames. :)
Great yogurt. Lots of variety of yogurt flavors and toppings. Its always clean, the staff is very friendly. Lots of free, do-it-yourself samples. The yogurt seems kind of expensive, though and Id like to see sugar-free chocolate topping like they have at some other Menchies.
My family loves Menchies, especially my kids, but it will be awhile before I return to this location. We purchased two bowls (one of which was brimming over the top, we had put so much in it) for two adults and two children with the plans of splitting them (which we typically do without a problem at the Livonia location). We received two spoons for four people. When I requested two additional spoons, I was told that they are instructed to give one spoon per cup since they are limited addition Angry Bird spoons. If we had known ahead of time, we could have made four separate, smaller cups (and wasted the cups and created more trash in the process). When I looked at the poor, young lady helping us with a, Youve got to be kidding me face and said we would have made smaller bowls if we had known that ahead of time (and still gotten four spoons then and wasted more bowls), she reluctantly gave me two additional spoons (one per person?!? Oh- the waste!!!!!!). I dont see us returning to this location until after the special spoons are done, if we ever return. Its not the employees fault, its a bad management decision (in my opinion). I could see a policy of one spoon per person -- but really?!? One spoon per cup when big cups are made to be shared with four-year-olds (which is a mommy-daughter tradition that she loves)? I shouldnt have to feel like a criminal in order to share a fro-yo with my daughter.
A rip off. Way over priced for a deceptive gimmick (I.e. serve yourself and get overcharged with an intentionally faulty charge by weight system). Clientele are rude, service is subpar. Theres not much flavor variety, and frankly you be better getting a carton of ice cream from the store. Will never return to this establishment
I prefer this way over normal Ice cream, and believe that this is truly the best frozen yogurt place out there. They have a ever changing selection of frosty treats and toppings. You can either get a custom cup (most people do this) of get a premade cup. They also sell (although not easily customizable) cakes. The only problem Ive come across is seating, the building is fairly small which can lead to a seating problem when it is busy. But if it is a nice day you can go sit outside and enjoy the weather. For the children there is a blackboard with chalk for the kids to write on. Im not going to lie when I say that I am very surprised in how big of a this is. All in all I would recommend this for anyone looking for a good dessert place or just a place to visit.
Great place to fulfill all your frozen yogurt needs. Wide variety of Fro-yo flavors and casually changes in flavors based seasonally. Wonderful and friendly staff. You can also get Menchie fro-yo cakes. You can continue the party only about 150 feet away at Family Video. With their top of the line films they are sure to set your party on fleek!💁
Im a chiropractor in an office across the street from this Menchies. During the summer the doctors will often take turns buying frozen yogurt for ourselves and the staff. My personal favorite is the pistachio (which is rarely in stock). The staff at this Menchies literally calls my office when its in stock. 5/5 for above and beyond service with a smile!
I love coming here this menchies has been really good with local schools, they love supporting and donating. but on top of that they are always fully stocked, every now and than because of crowd the machines start stalling. but topping are always fresh and fully stocked.

2022-07-12Great place after dinner in the Canton area to finish off the evening out with the family. Seating inside and outside available. Yogurt flavors are very good and the staff is very nice. Even if you are an adult, place a few gummy bears and boba drops in your mix! Great regression therapy - not to mention it tastes great.

2022-05-18We were told that this store discontinued tasting cups (which is fine) but then the family who walked in behind us asked and were given small plastic spoons. The ice cream is amazing but I dont understand why some people are being given taster spoons and others are not.

2017-09-08Really good! Love that they label the flavors as far as gluten /dairy/kosher/vegan/etc. There were at least 3 sorbet flavors which is great for us dairy free folks!Would definitely return. 50-something an once can get pricey but it is also delicious, and its possible to stay in a budget if you dont fill up that cup.

2022-03-05Every time we go in the staff are always super nice. In addition, they keep the store clean. They even cleaned off the tables outside so some teen girls could sit outside.

2019-09-19Menchies was a more welcoming place for frozen yogurt than we had been to before. The employees were very friendly! It wasnt busy when we visited and my two young girls were able to enjoy themselves. They think it is so cool to get to pick their own flavors and toppings! There was also childrens seating and an oversized connect four game to entertain them so I was able to enjoy a break as well. The only downside was the lack of chalk for the chalkboard, but that didnt ruin our experience. We will definitely be back!

2021-11-09We love the variety of frozen yogurt and all the choices for toppings. Although we dont put much in a cup because its one of those places where they weigh your cup at the end to get the price. Melody at Menchies is awesome!

2018-05-02So many choices! Love making my own concoctions. This is pistachio, cherry, and vanilla frozen yogurt, with fresh strawberries, dark chocolate/raspberry bites and a chunk of brownie. Good thing we live a long way from here!!
