I have been with Dr. Oddo for a few years now. He has tried every option to help with my back pain. Im not ready for surgery again on my back. I had surgery at Ford Hospital and did not come out as the surgeon had promised. This is why Im here with Mendelson & Kornblum. I highly recommend them for your pain.
If you have pain issues this is the place to go. I live in Indiana and drive up once a month for a procedure, ketamine infusions. I have RSD, but others I have met others that use it for migraines. The only other place that does them is the Cleveland clinic and thats an hour further. I see Dr. Dan Feldman. He listens and can get a vein for an IV, which is a huge challenge for others. He cares about his patients. Ketamine infusions have been used for pain control in Europe from the 80s. Has taken a long time to get here. The medication blocks the pain receptors in the brain from firing. During Covid I could not get them for 4 months, I could really tell then, how much pain they block, it was a bit overwhelming. Hoping I dont have to experience that again. If you have tried other procedures and meds and havent found pain relief its something to consider.
I love my doctor and his staff!!! They are all very professional and they listen to you and answer any questions you may have! I would recommend pain management at this facility!!! Daniel Feldman is my doctor. I’m very impressed with him and his staff!!! Doctor Feldman’s nurse Denise is amazing too!!!
Why they charge a office call of $350 before they even have you see the doctor is outrageous I have never went to a specialist and had to pay a certain office call and then trying to get your money back for an office call is its so crazy. When speaking to someone in billing they act nonchalant and theyll tell you when we get are your part from your insurance company we will gladly resend you your money. Its been over a month now .And Im still waiting on a refund of 290 dollars I was way overcharge! Someone play with their money in billing department and see if they would be upset as well. Maybe Ill have to take legal action against this company to get my money back!
My wait time was awesomeThe staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. My doctor Dr. Lasater was very articulate and knowledgeable, very nice and helpful. Even my X-Ray technician was awesome with her lil bitty self.
I cant believe these receptionist know a single thing about HIPAA. The information they force their customer to leak aloud is crazy. Really being a big place I have to say Im very surprised how lack they are with privacy. Be prepared to wait well past any appointment before you even get to the back.

Dr Babushkina was brilliant - highly attentive to every aspect of placing a permanent cast on my son’s arm, and excellent at working with both an assisting nurse and 4 year old.

Dr. Shironda Stewart, Rheumatologist. Dr.Stewart is very proficient and professional, she takes the time to explain things so that you have a good understanding of her diagnosis and lab results. She is friendly and always has a pleasantness about her. I would recommend her if you suffer with rheumatoid arthritis. I am glad to have her as my physician.Mendelson Kornblum has a great team of physicians and physicians assistants, they are knowledgeable in their field and they are a friendly bunch of folks. I think that pleasantness is a criteria there; anyhow I most definitely would recommend you visit them for all your Orthopedic needs.
I have been going to MK since 2002. Dr. Kornblum is the very best neck/spine Dr. who really cares and respects his patients. I also see Dr. Oddo who is the best in pain management. He is very understanding and highly experienced in his field. They have Doctors for every part of the body there, that come highly recommended.
Have been a patient for a few years. Appointments are usually prompt. Staff is courteous and professional. Now under care of Dr David Mendelson but usually see the PA. Wait times are not an issue. Have had relief with treatment provided.

Dr.Ackerman and his staff are very professional and thorough. I was a patient if Dr. Ackerman years ago, when I moved back to Michigan, and was in need of a Ortho dr, I made sure I found where he practiced, based off the great experience I had as his patient previously.
I made the right choice with MK! I saw Dr. Anna for my hand and she was very informative, listened to my concerns and I was extremely pleased with the entire appointment. The facility was great and the staff were friendly!
I always feel like I do matter when I have an appt with Dr Alice. She takes time to respond to my questions and thoroughly explains any procedure or situation, I feel she knows her stuff and I have improved under her care. Highly recommend!

I started my medical relationship with Dr. Jeffery Mendelson in 2019. I have scheduled appointments with him every six months since that time. My appointment on January 19, 2022 was my third time visiting with him. I was very pleased with my visit on that day. I look forward to future appointments.
I was treated for my broken wrist in a very timely manner. I was able to see Dr. Bohm the same day I injured it. I was able to have surgery within three days of seeing Dr. Bohm. The front desk, staff, nurses treated me very well. I am on my way to almost full use of my arm. I am having physical therapy here too, which is really helping me regain strength in my arm.
Dr. Hall was of no help for my ongoing lower back pain…I was a new patient to the office that I personally picked due to its proximity and was met by Dr. hall with a snide and condescending attitude and a preconceived prejudice towards a fellow African American like I was on a pill grab she ordered a MRI only to line her pockets with cash…I would strongly advise EVERYONE TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!! I’m speaking of the Warren mi location
They checked me in right away, they where very friendly, didnt take long to wait to see the doctor, the pt, cound see that I was nervous, about getting the iv in so she talks to me and sked me if I had any good new I told her my daughter was engaged and she was getting married next September and by then the iv was in and she had the tape put on my AR and I didnt feel a thing.
The entire staff was so friendly and helpful! Dr. Ren was very personable and actually cares about her patients. I would highly recommend!

I would highly recommend Mendelson I have suffered with severe back and neck pain for many years I have seen many doctors, physical therapy no one had been able to help until doctors at Mendelson every doctor, pain management team member had really taken the time to get to the cause and take steps to a positive outcome every one from front desk to sign out is extremely nice and helpful most of all you are never left sitting in waiting rooms or exam rooms every visit is done in a very timely manner and for someone who is in constant pain and discomfort this is a major plus for me I highly recommend Mendelson OrthopedicsI recently had carpal tunnel surgery with Dr.Anna Babushkina she did an excellent job and the moment I was able to use my wrist no more numbness what a blessing I suffered for to long I wish I had seen her long ago I would highly recommend the Mendelson team to anyone

Dr. Stewart 😇Helped me within 3 to 4 months with my Lupus and my overall health and back problems was on it with special bloodwork got right to the point of what was needed to get me on the right track to recover, mine you had two other rheumatologist doctors that help but didnt do nothing that Dr. Stewart has done changing my medication address more of my symptoms was more aware of whats happened with my body, Im getting better each and every day THANK GOD for doctors like her who cares about their patients😊THANKS A VERY HAPPY PATIENT 👍
Usually this office is great, however today I had an appoint with Dr. Belen that was horrible. When asked a doctor should explain a procedure to a patient before beginning the procedure. I specifically asked him what the test was and what I should expect. Instead of talking to me and answering the question he just started the test. When I was startled by him starting and then telling him to stop. I was told I could not tolerate the test and he was done. When I then asked what that meant for the next appointment I had he said I could discuss it with the next Doctor. When he saw that I was visibly angry he proceeded to open the room door and then announce to the whole office he was willing to answer any question I may have. Sure now that the whole office is watching he was willing to. At that point I didnt need the whole office listening to what should be a private medical appointment. This was happening in room A1, right at the front checkout desk where there were many people standing and now looking at us. I did try and call the office to speak to somebody about this I was sent to a voicemail that does not have a name attached to it, just the computerized voicemail greeting. Im not sure that will ever get to anyone or be addressed.*****************edited to add*************** After speaking to the office manager about the incident I was then discharged as a patient. Not that I would want to be seen there again anyway. Dont post a bad google review and be honest, it wont go over well.
David Mendelson replaced my right knee in 2005 and just replaced left knee this April and as usual I was thoroughly impressed. The staff at Synergy Westland made me very comfortable from the moment I walked in the door until the rolled me out to my husband waiting in the car. Covid 19 did not allow for anyone else in presurgical and postsurgical but secretly I didnt want him there. He was a magician I never thought I would walk pain free again but he did it. The office in Livonia has the most courteous staff. My recent visit was yesterday 12/17/21 for a 6 month visit things were running a tiny bit late and registration desk kept me informed when I would be next. All around they are fantastic people.
My experience with Mendelson-Kornbloom group has been excellent. My recent visit was with Dr Anna, and Dr Munk and prior to him was Dr David Mendelson. All are super Doctors and I highly recommend them. They are the best in all situations for any bone ailments.
I don’t know how long I could have gone on with my migraines. Over 20 years of daily migraines. So many different procedures. Dr. Feldman with his ketamine has helped tremendously. Two migraines a month vs. daily ones. Not much more to say. He is a god send.
I highly recommend Mendleson Kornblum Orthopedic group for any arthritic issues. I was experiencing severe pain in my knees and joints of both my hands. Ive had several knee surgeries done by Jeffrey Mendleson and he is one of the best surgeons in the group! I expressed pain I was having in both of my hands and he recommended Dr. Anna, one of the hand specialists in the group. On my first appointment she was extremely professional and put steroid injections in both my wrists and provided wrist braces to wear at night to help with the pain. It has already helped relieve the severe pain and throbbing that was waking me up during the night. I look forward to the follow-up visit in 6 weeks. Since the weather has turned cooler and has been rainy all my joints have been affected. I also had gel injections 💉 into both knees and will continue to follow this plan to resolve my aching knees as well. All the office employees are so kind and helpful. Sometimes the wait in the office is a few minutes past your appt time but the quality of care that is given is worth the wait!!
Dr Icaza and his staff are top notch. They are professional, to the point but friendly and courteous.
Dr Stephen Mendelson was informative throughout the years. He presented all options and allowed me to make the final decision. I had fluid withdrawals and injections, arthroscopic knee surgery, gel injections and finally a total right robotic knee replacement.Dr. Stephen was wonderful.
The Mendelson Kornblum and Dr. Acker are the best .I use to work at St Marys hospital years ago the Mendelson were in the hospital at the time .My Mother needed knee surgery she was in a lot of painI heard so many great things about the Mendelson I recommend my MotherMy Mother had her knee surgery and she did well .She did her physical therapy as the Mendelson asked of her she later had hip surgery as well then physical therapy again shes now 94 and going strongThanks Mendelson for your knowledge patiences and kindness.Now its my turned Dr .Steven Acker is a very great Dr .with patience kindness and understanding he listen to you when you talk about your pain he knows just where to go to make you say Ouch right there .If you knee Great Drs you have to go to the Mendelson Clinic I promise they will take great care of you and have you on your way to a new start in lifeThanks again Mendelson for my care
This entire organization is the best Ive ever seen they took care of my carpool tunnel they took care of my pinch spinal cord theyve taken care of my broken collarbone. As long as I follow doctors orders I come out better than I was. Their pain specialist office is awesome, their physical therapy office is the most friendly and helpful, let alone the doctors are awesome.
Dr David Mendelson did a right hip replacement on me last year and it was like a 200 percent change. I could stand up straight as before I was bent over my walker. I could walk much easier and could go much farther. I had done PT before so it was a simpler recovery.I am having a left hip replacement by Dr David Mendelson next week. I am hoping for good results like the right hip.If anyone needs orthopedic work and/or the other areas the group handles, I can highly recommend them. Everyone I have dealt with is professional, willingly to answer questions, and easy to deal with.
I had an appointment with Dr Munk on Oct 6 for back and neck, Dr Munk did surgery on my back 8 years ago and it was a total success. Now I have new problems and am a lot of pain and can barely walk. The only person that saw me was a PA. I didnt make an appointment with an Orthopedic specialist to see a PA. I left with more questions that answers. They took neck xrays, I had neck surgery last year with a different Doctor, and the PA didnt even look at them. She was very nice but again, I wasnt there to see her. They are going to try to put a device in my back to stop the pain but she rally didnt answer my questions fully about it. I was just told to come back in 3 months. Total waste of time and money. As much as I like Dr Munk I have to rethink this. The 3 stars was because there wasnt any wait time and the staff was very nice.
Love the staff and team of Doctors Great at making all your stress go away and explaining everything to you. The place is very clean and well taken care of along with the patients. I came here for a second opinion and immediately felt they would offer me the best care.Got fitted for leg braces with Marie she was great at explaining everything to me and making sure I was comfortable walking before I left. I feel really good about doctors and office personal and so glad I found them.
Not only are the doctors, pas, nurses awesome. The ENTIRE staff is amazing. They are all so down to earth, friendly, nice, professional at the same time. I suffer from high anxiety and panic and I will tell you something, not once since going to Medelson Kornblum Orthopedics Ive never have my anxiety or panic. They are such warm, caring individuals. I highly, highly recommend this group.
I have only had experience with Dr. Jeffrey Mendelson and Dr. Feldman, Dr Anna and phys. Therapy. All great and attentive to your needs they are not rushed and will answer all your questions. I have and continue to recommend them to any and everyone.
I have been seeing Dr. Kornblum and/or P.A.s since 2017. The entire team is exceptionally educated, kind, polite, informative, attentive and caring. They take the time to go over everything. I highly recommend this institution to any one that has spine issues. The only thing I didnt care for is I see the doctors in Livonia and had to go to Macomb for the actual surgery. While that hospital was fine, it was an extremely long drive for my loved ones.
After 2 weeks with an appointment here, my husband who has been in complete agony was called the day before his appointment only to be told that they wouldnt see him because of insurance. Really nice to wait until the day before and leave him with no other options because of your inability to do your jobs and check into the insurance far before that point. Not only that, but you even confirmed his appointment days ago and told him of no insurance issues. How pathetic. It would be nice if doctors actually cared about people or the extreme pain theyre in. You should be ashamed of your unprofessional care. Disgusting.

Mendelson Kornblum has some of the friendliest workers. The receptionist, medical assistants, physician assistants, and doctors are very attentive and knowledgeable. The wait time is minimal and if there is a long wait they are very apologetic. The waiting areas and waiting rooms are clean. Dr.. Steve doesnt leave any stone unturned in diagnosing your problem. I would recommend their office to anyone.

Where to even start first of all I waited a long time almost an hour and a half to be called in to the room but before that a lady told me to take follow her so she can take x-rays. She was really really really rude I almost left the place that’s how rude she was and second of all when you go see a certain doctor you expect that doctor to come in to see you not a nurse practitioner. I was really really disappointment and I don’t think I will be going back to that place so they just lost a patient Also when I was checking out the lady was really rude. I asked to see if I can see the doctor again because I forgot to ask her for something or ask her something and they said no because my appointment is over and that she’s in other room seeing other patients so I would have to ask in two weeks at my follow up appt. We are just a number there. Go somewhere else. I won’t be returning.
Super nice fast efficient got my appointment right away. I saw Dr. David Mendelson and I like the doctor doesn’t mix his words tells you straight up like it is. Really help me with both knees. The PA was very good to. Front office very nice and helpful. Dr David Mendelson is a very good physician. He takes his time with his patients, and explains things very thoroughly. It never seems rushed, he knows what hes doing. I appreciate his professionalism and his honesty.
I am totally impressed by the care that I received and by the respect, that I was given by all the staff. They know exactly what questions to ask and gave me an x-ray, johnny on the spot. After reviewing the x-ray, they came up with avenues to explore and scheduled my appointments. Everything is done at their facility, including physical therapy, x-rays, MRI, ETC. I wish that I had discovered them, long ago.
Dr. Feldman is very caring and fully committed to the care of his patients. I was unsure about seeing another doctor after past experiences, but I’m beyond glad my doctor referred me to Dr. Feldman.The staff is very compassionate and doesn’t treat you like a number on their list.
I have been a patient here for many years. Dr. Jeff Mendelson repaired my torn shoulder and replaced my hip, and I have had excellent outcomes from both surgeries. Next he will be replacing my knee. Dr. Jeff is very straight forward and kind. I have been given excellent guidance to make the decisions that are best for me. The practice uses state of the art technology but also time tested practices. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Jeff and the entire practice to anyone needing orthopedic care.
I was quickly seen, barely any weight. Once in the individual office, the physicians assistant was there within 5 minutes. The visit was courteous and pleasant, professional but low-key. Valuable information was imparted. I left smarter than I came there, and ready for my upcoming surgery.

The service of phasisians is impecable, the turn around time by the disability services department is terrible, Ive never had so many problems with any other Dr office n getting the proper information executed in a timely manner till I visited this practice in Livonia on 5 mile. The are rude, they dont deliver what they say theyre going to the same day you are visiting and when you try to call back to get results you get pushed around from department to department and lied to this is the most important part of an end of visit appointment especially when you need a documentation for work Ive had nothing but problems with that department for a whole year. Then when you finally do get the forms you requested theyre filled out wrong by too many people.
I will say if you need to have a Pain management physican Dr. E. Icaza is very caring and compassionate.

Over the last 14 years I have had several surgeries from David Mendelson. I could not have been more pleased with the outcomes. In two weeks I will be having another surgery which will make this number four. I have a lot of arthritis so there might be more surgeries in the future and I would not hesitate to go to the Kornblum Mendelson practice. I have recommended several friends and everybody was very happy with their results. I visited DR Jeff Mendelson October 2020 with multiple issues. He help to design a plan of action to fix a torn rotator cuff and a knee replacement. The pain is gone and I couldnt be any happier today.

I’ve been taken care of by the doctors at MENDELSON/Kornblum in Livonia since my auto accident in 2016. They have been amazing at helping me to recover from serious injuries to my spine and feet. I highly recommend Dr Kornblum, Dr Feldman and Dr Klein. They are highly qualified, empathetic and informative. Their patience with my anxiety and depression due to these injuries is notable and proactive in my treatment.

Have had numerous procedures with Dr Feldmand previously, and Dr Icaza currently for lower back pain, and would highly recommend either or both of these Doctors. Lately have been seeing Dr Icaza, as he does some procedures that Dr Feldman doesnt do, but both have helped me keep my back pain from becoming debilitating. Both are extremely nice and caring pain specialists who will take the time needed to understand your problems and suggest the most appropriate treatment or procedure at that time. Its an ongoing process, but well worth the trips to Mendelson Kornblum at the Livonia, MI. office on 5 Mile Road.
Very good clinic, they are very reasonable as far as giving you appointment times. When you get there you might sit out in the lobby after you sign in for a few minutes before you are took back to the examination room. The doctors are very friendly and courteous, and so far all the doctors that I have dealt with listens to you and give you great advice on what to do. They even give you time to decide on what to do after they tell you whats going on. Out of all of the clinics that I have dealt with this is a great place and theyre very excellent concerned your health, and I Love Dr Jason Mulawa he listens to whatever youre going through and he treats you like family or a real good friend. I have told a couple of people about this clinic. Excellent care. PA Brittany is excellent also. 👌 Plus the clinic is set up for the covid so you would be comfortable going there to see the doctors.
I Had an issue with my ankle and was a first time patient with Dr Mendelson . He was able to fit me in on very short notice which was very nice. I was immediately impressed by the modern and spacious facility. There was the normal paperwork which the staff handled as promptly as could be expected , after which I saw Dr Mendelson . He was very informative and provided a reasonable solution. He also spent a good amount of time understanding me and my situation. I would highly recommend himRegards
So bad clinic, 1 hour and 15 minutes till check me in, Dr. Ren is so rude dont listen to the patient she looks at xray only and never heard from the patient I told her I had hard pain in my knee she said the xray is good looks like doesnt believe the patient I havemri about 2 years she said bring your old mri to see it I tell her thats 2 years ago not yesterday,, never recommended her and never visit this horrible clinic again. Great experience, Dr. Jason Mulawa is very professional & friendly! Was my second hip injection and it was really easy, the nurses were friendly & knew their job very well. My only complaint is the temperature in the office, they like it warm in there! Highly recommend Dr. Mulawa & his staff.
I came too early I misunderstood the time and they were so kind to me they would right ahead and got me ready so I could wait for the doctor to come in which he showed up very promptly I always have had nothing but excellent experiences going there and having my back done I hope other people will give them a shot because its for your benefit the nurses and the doctors are very polite and very knowledgeable and very caring

Ive had fibromyalgia for over 15 years of my life and before December of 2020 I couldnt remember what it was like to live a day pain free. Dr. Icazas Ketamine Infusions have completely changed my life and I can genuinely say my pain has been reduced by OVER 80% + Ive lost almost 50 pounds!! I was really scared at first but Dr. Icaza and all of the nurses there are so kind and always take great care of me before/during/after the infusions. The scheduler Danielle is always quick to respond and answer any questions I may have too
I was very impressed with my overall experience here, not just with the team, but also the facility.The medical team was very accommodating and informative throughout the entire procedure on not only what to expect, but also to ensure I was comfortable thru the process. There was always someone present in the room monitoring what was happening the entire time which, to me, made a huge difference making me feel very at ease, given that coming into the infusion, I was very anxious.After my visit, they were sure to inform me on what to expect from the treatment I have had, as well as upcoming ones. They were sure to answer any questions I had before I left.I’ve been to many facilities for Pain Management, this is definitely at the top of the list. I highly recommend Dr. Feldman and his team.
Dr Jeff performed a total hip replacement for me. I was home and on my feet the same day. They coordinated my guy surgery, labs, pharmacy, and physical therapy very well. It doesnt look like Ill have much of a scar. Friendly, professional, and efficient. Couldnt have gone smoother.
I’ve never broken a bone and yet, I managed 3 at once in my ankle. Dr. Ren has been absolutely wonderful. She explains things on a basic level, she works on schedule, (which for me I’ve never had any doctor do!), and she is kind. I am so thankful that she has been my doctor through all of this and I would highly recommend her and her staff.
Ive been coming here for years and see a couple of different doctors. The staff are incredible and always friendly and helpful. I also love the fact that I feel like they respect your time. I have NEVER had to wait around for hours for my appointment. I have had to wait for a few minutes but typically no more than 10 minutes. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
I have had such a fabulous experience with Mendelson Kornblum. Dr. Acker has been an exceptual surgeon. Not only have I been happy with the results of my knee replacement but he also had been incredibly helpful while explaining my options and in his ability to explain the results of the procedure. He truly seems to make an effort to respond patiently when answering questions and seems to want to develop a good rapport with his patients. He was recommended to me by a friend when I was looking for a second opinion and I have been very pleased with both him and the whole team in the Livonia office.

Dr. Feldman is a Pain Management doctor at Mendelssohn Kornblum. He is a very smart and dedicated to finding the appropriate way to help alleviate a chronic pain situation. He has helped me get to the point that my pain is manageable. I thought I was going to be in excruciating pain for the rest of my life. But he has made life bearable again. He is a great doctor, passionate, intelligent, proactive and kind. He also listens really well!
Dr. David Mendelson and all of his staff are a wonderful team. He is very thorough, listens, and is personable . He cares about his patients and remembers exactly what your history of care is. I am so happy I am able to manage my pain and I have fully recovered after suffering a fracture. The PA”s, Nurses, Techs, secretary staff, and Nursing assistants are all phenomenal. They also have a great Physical therapy on site!
Came in with my with wife seen by Quack Dr. REN! Who would not listen to me or my wife about the pain I was in She told me what my pain could be and said there is no magic pill? to me I needed Toradol medicine!! a inflammatory but prescribe me a suppository but no Toradol medicine. We went to check out, and requested a summery of our visit. Then we were told that we have to call and request a summery of our visit we called and no one would help us even though we were in the building calling Go here at your own risk!!!. They also are not HIPAA- Compliant. Go here at your OWN RISK!!!. I am not done I am going to any medical board who will listen!!

Dr Malawa (sp) is a great pain management doctor. He takes time to explain the procedure you are having from start to finish. I like that he does not rush and try’s to take all of patients with pride!
I have seen Dr. Acker, Dr Stephen Mendelson, and Dr Otto and all of them are amazing. Dr. Acker has actually been my orthopedic surgeon for nearly 15 years. He was with St Joes and then Oakwood before joining Mendelson and I have followed him to keep him as my orthopedic surgeon because he is an amazing surgeon amd Doctor. He genuinely cares about each individual patient he takes care of. He is patient and understanding. I have sent a couple people for Dr. Acker to treat and I will always recommend him and any of the other surgeon here.
Dr. Stewart was very professional and pleasant. I didn’t have to wait long to see her after I checked in at the front desk. The staff were very nice. Dr. Stewart explained everything about my condition and the medication, I learned more from her on my first visit than I learned from my previous doctor of 2 years and I’m so grateful that I found her!
I have seen several specialist at the Mendelson Center on Five mile road right across from St. Mary Hospital. Every single Doctor I have seen has been an eye opener for me. I am so glad my primary doctor sent me here for a problem I was having with my hand. This has led to correcting not only that problem but other problems I had with my left wrist.. last week I seen I seen Dr Jeffrey Mendolsen who let me know my knee replacements bI had done in 1998 are still in great shape. Thank you Dr Robert Young where ever you are today!! Everyone at the Mendolsen Center is so nice friendly and knowledgeable I would recommend anyone to go to the Mendolsen Center.I have recently been seeing Dr. Stewart a rheumatologist at the Mendelsen Center at Five Mile Road and Levan Roads. She has been very helpful to me and my bones which are not in good shape. And she has so much knowledge and is able to take care of her patients needs and use all of her knowledgeable background to teach a pupil at the same time. Of course asking her patients if it would be okay. She has brought new medications into my list and dropped off some others that does help me a lot. I feel she is someone I can put my faith and trust in.I also have been seeing Dr. Feldmen as he specializes in head and neck pain. And also backs. He also has helped me an awful lot and amazingly is able to do this minimum pain to me! Which is something I must say is hard to find a doctor with such skill. Looking for a pain block specialist this is the guy you want! Arthritis ruining your life see Dr Stewart! Need orthopedic problems solved go see Dr. Anna all in the same building they are all very good!!
My Mom, visited Dr. Acker for the first time and was very pleased with her experience. The office staff was very friendly and helpful as well as the doctor’s assistant. Dr. Acker was awesome. He was very kind, answered all our questions, explained everything to my Mom and took his time with her. He had a great bed side manner and very pleasant. I would highly recommend.

Hands down the best set of physicians I have had in Michigan since being hit by a Semi in 2019. Dr. Phillips will not miss anything, he was very through, professional & empathetic to my needs as a patient. On the other hand, Dr. Feldman will do everything possible to get you back to an enjoyable & functional lifestyle with minimal pain. Wonderful and supportive staff. I had all of my questions addressed in an understandable manner. My knee injections have helped my mobility too. I look forward to a new knee in the near future undertaken by Dr Jeff. He does need a few more wrinkles and grey hairs, though, since its hard to believe that hes been helping those of the needing new knee crowd for Id say almost 20 years.

I have seen both Dr Munk and Dr Klein at this practice. Both are excellent and spend time explaining there findings and answering questions. Dr Munk performed a sacroiliac fusion and, while it didn’t solve all my problems, I’m very happy with the surgery itself and the quick recovery I experienced. Dr Klein is thorough in his diagnostics and takes all factors into consideration that might be contributing to my chronic condition. I would recommend this practice to family and friends without hesitation.
I’ve been a patient of Dr. Jeff and Dr. Bohm for many a year and there’s a reason for that - I’m always treated with respect and I never feel like they are just trying to get me out of there. They take the time to explain things in layman’s terms and I never feel rushed. My wife has had two partial knee replacements and Dr. Jeff did a great job! She couldn’t be happier! She has also seen Dr. Bohm for her hand issues. Do yourself a favor and go see them - you’ll be glad you did!

I wont go into a prolonged explanation of my experience, but in short, he saved my arm from being amputated following a near-fatal automobile accident... Ive been going to the medicine building for treatment they help me with my aches and pains gave me all the braces that I need back brace knee brace a brace for carpal tunnel depends device and a few other things I had gotten hit by a car and they helped me through my pain and my suffering and I recommend them five stars. But I must say if you just have a follow-up like a hello how are you hows your pain level youre better off going with the telephone teleconference it frees up the reception area.

My 1st experience with the Mendelson Kornblum office a few years ago, left me somewhat disappointed. The Dr. that performed my spine surgery in 2011 had since retired. I was very fortunate to have been scheduled to see Dr. J. Phillips. I couldnt have been more satisfied with him. Very thorough, spent time with me listening to my concerns and even properly suggested solutions to ease my pain. Not a pill pusher, but real a solution. Suffice it to say, if feel Dr. Phillips and Dr. Icaza performed a medical miracle on me. THANK YOU

When I met my doctor Dr. S.Stewart she made me feel excited she really performed like a doctor ,she was kind and considerate of my feeling asking me questions as if she really had concern about my care she was really listening to me after she examined me.she left the room and when she came back she was having me checked from my toe nails to my neck bone in my neck when I left after my first visit I was in a wonderful spirits feeling that at last I was going to be ok someone care as a doctor not a superstar ,not as a God ,not as an upper I got myself together so I am better no but as someone who LOVES her profession although she looks like a 18 to 20 year old. there is knowledge behind those kind eyes thank you doctor for loving your job and its people expecially the elderly you feel like she is your daughter.

I Am truly Shocked. First Dr Jeffery Klein Operated On my Left Foot for a Bunion, And a Displaced Fracture of the left foot. The Displaced Fracture was never addressed and the Bunion Still hurts, And the Wire that was holding the left big toe Straight was cut and never replaced.And Now Dr Anna Babushkina. Operated on my Right Hand and Wrist January 28th for 3 things the ring finger on the Right hand Is fine, The Bone that was growing Into nerve has not healed , that Is on top of the right hand Is still red and the swelling from It has not gone down at all. And now Dr Anna Babushkina Is annoyed about , Being late for one Appt and missing the second on with me for the 2 week follow up after surgery. These are completely CLASSLESS Doctors and Staff. I would not ever go again to see any of them not even for a HANG NAIL. Be very CAUTIOUS PEOPLE, I sure would better and more CARING Doctors. I am the LOCAL AREAS have better doctors. Just be careful People you have been ALERTED ABOUT THESE DOCTORS.

I was met at the entrance, my temp was taken, and I confirmed that I had not been exposed to COVID. Check in was easy, the waiting room had few people, well spaced. The PA did the injections to my knees in a reasonable amount of time, and then I was off. I love the way I am treated, and the care they take for us all.
Dr. Martin Kornblum has been my neck & spine surgeon for 6 surgeries since 2003. He is by far the Best Surgeon I have ever had the privilege of knowing. He is one of the top best neck & spine surgeons in Michigan & probably even the country. He is also kind, compassionate & treats his patients with respect! Thank you Dr. Kornbum! His associates are also great!
Dr. Peter Lasater performed arthroscopic knee surgery for a torn meniscus tear. He was very accommodating in scheduling both the initial surgery and follow up visits. His staff is friendly and I felt very comfortable with the COVID precautions implemented at the offices. Dr. Lasater answered all my questions and overall, Im was very pleased with the experience. I would recommend him as a surgeon.

Patients BEWARE! I called Dr. Mendelsons office to get second opinion about my shoulder injury from auto accident. I had all my records with me and they lady took it and never gave back to me. 1)The first visit was with a PA. When I asked for doctor, PA told me that doctor was not available. He schedule me a shot. 2) After filling all the form, nurse put me into a room in surgery center in Westland. She called me the day before about not taking vitamins but did not mention about fasting for 8 hours. I was told that the anesthesiologist refused to do procedure and doctor refused to do procedure with anesthesia. 3) I was forced to leave and reschedule the appointment. The scheduler told me that I had to visit the doctor office again before rescheduling.If you are a new patient who are looking for good doctors, beware of this doctor office. They are trying to drag you into a deep hole. I didnt get chance of meeting and talking to the doctor. I AM DONE with this office.

I called after checking Aetna to ensure they were in network. I called to make an appointment and everything was fine until the end. The person on the phone told me they have a policy where I must pay a deductible upfront which is $485 or I would not be seen. The problem is I know my insurance plan and went to an In Network Doctor. So when I told her something was off and that I think she needed to reach out to Aetna she told me that she was too busy and didnt have time to call them. That if I wanted to be seen that I must pay $485 or I wouldnt be seen. I called and talked Aetna myself and reviewed with them my coverage and confirmed a deductible doesnt apply. I filed a formal complaint with Aetna about this office as they care more about money then doing the right thing.

Whoever developed MK into the medical facility it is today did a fantastic job. I cannot imagine a better bunch of doctors and staff. They worked w me when I had no insurance through changes in insurance companies and just about every aspect of my treatment (I hit a manhole sticking up 5 inches above grade at 70 mph on my motorcycle on new asphalt on I -94 last year, (Thanks AJAX))I went from crushed nerves in both wrists w little feeling in hands- w lots of pain - to near full use of both hands in a year.The best part is they worked w me when I had little funds and no insurance they would take. How many places do that nowadays ???I was told they were one of the best if not THE best at what they do. Someone finally told me something that was accurate...If your reading this and your considering these guys stay here!! Hello- I am in the middle of recovering from a total ankle replacement. Hoping this to be a major life change for the positive. Dr. Klein has been most gracious and helpful. His positive and encouraging manor is very reassuring throughout the experience. My ankle issues have been getting incrementally worse over the past ten years and now a new chapter has started.
I had an appointment with Dr. Hall recently. Staff was very efficient and my wait was very minimal. As always Dr Hall was very thorough and walked me through each step if the procedure. I would recommend Dr. Hall and the entire Mendelson Kornblum team to everyone. Have been a patient with them for almost 25 years.

I love the MedelsonKornblum offices in Livonia. I see mutiple doctors due to mutiple spine/SI joint/ shoulder/ hands/ knees. Great staff in front & back offices friendly, helpful. Dr. Mulawa, is a great pain management doctor, Dr Munk, has also help relieve my SI joints , Dr.Bohm great for shoulders all listen treat u like family. Doctor barely spoke to me, was essentially pulling teeth trying to get any sort of help as he slowly backed out of the room after 4 minutes. (the doctor I saw was Joel Phillips) The staff was super helpful though!Edit: I did end up seeing two other Doctors at the same place and my experience was much more pleasant/thorough. I was hit by a 16 yr old. In 2012. I was introduced to Mendelson/Kornblum in 2013. I hv had numerous surgeries from my neck to my back to my feet. They take great care of you. They make sure anything you may need they take care of, even with things you wouldn’t think of. I wouldn’t trust anyone other than them to work on me. You can even do one stop shopping. See yr drs. then go to physical therapy. They work to yr schedule. The wait time would just amaze you. They are fast and kind and the don’t miss a beat. Come and see for yourself.

I have been dealing with low back pain for almost two years now. After many different meds, treatments, tests and about a year of fighting to find the source of the problem i found out I have three torn discs, one leaking fluid into my epidural space. Prior to this diagnosis I had three epidurals to try and elevate the pain with not much success. After finding the torn discs, the doctor decided to try a different injection. With no success from the last injection my doctor basically threw in the towel. I decided that it was time for a second opinion. After doing some research and at a friends suggestion I called Dr Kornblums office. They were able to get me in two days later. After my first appointment I was scheduled for two tests and to speak with three other specialists. We have a plan and I feel so much better. It was so reassuring to hear there are tests and procedures that my first doctor hadnt even looked at.
Excellent care. Staff, PA’s and physicians are all courteous, informative and take their time when dealing with patients. I’ve had 2 knee replacements with them with excellent results Highly recommend
Been coming here for little over two years after my auto accident and I couldn’t be happier and more satisfied. Office staff is friendly and Livonia office is very clean. Would highly recommend all the specialists and accupuncture treatment from Dr. Oddo. Was not happy with the podiatrist. Was not happy with how I was treated by him all because I wasn’t comfortable with what he suggested for treatment.
Loved Dr. Anna. But hate the way the Mendelson group forces you to pay up front and refuses to bill the insurance company first so l actually pay what l owe. This will be the reason l do not return for future orthopedic work.
If I could give 0 stars trust me I would definitely would I will never forget seeing Dr. Martin Kornblum it was a horrible/terrible experience Dr. Kornblum very was extremely rude to me very unprofessional and Dr. Kornblum talk to me like I wasn’t even a person Dr. Kornblum said to me that there’s nothing wrong with me and he doesn’t ever want to see in his office ever again. Even though I was feeling pain in shoulder. I recommend that NO ever trust this doctor and if you happen to have a doctors appointment with him for the first time think about finding another doctor before you go to see Kornblum. Trust me he is the worst doctor I ever came into contact with I WON’T TRUST MY LIFE WITH HIM!!!!
Overall a good facility. However, dont use Instant Imaging inside. They ask for information irrelevant to what you are there for. Then when you ask questions there seems to be an attitude. My family and I have had better experience at Silver Pines. Before I leave with my family member l will be giving the rude staff a piece of my mind. People need to learn how to be more Professional and Courteous. But hey, if they dont I have no problem helping them out. 😁
Dr. Icaza is patient and personal. He explains and provides details for pain experiencing. He walks you through treatments and makes you feel at ease during the whole process. 12/6/20 Dr. Icaza is an Awesome doctor. I had procedure a few days ago and my anxiety was high going in. He came in and talk with me prior to and during the procedure. He is gentle and truly cares about restoring his patients health back to a level that allows them to live a quality of life minimizing or eliminating pain. Cant thank him enough.
I really loved my experience at The Mendelson office in livonia my Dr. Acker was amazingggg I love there entire team everyone was friendly polite, Helpful and Professional they should make this office a Training Center for other Ppl in the medical field, Livonia office you guys rock and keep up the good work...
I will never use this office again. Dr. David Mendelson did my acl reconstruction in 2013. I have been experiencing pain ever since. I went back in for an appointment in early 2019. Dr. David couldnt even bother to see me even though I had an appointment with him. I was seen by a PA who couldnt get my MRI approved because she submitted it to my insurance as pain in the knee. They than charged me $75 to have a phone conversation with my insurance to get a second denial on my MRI. This was a 3 week process. I got a second opinion from a Dr. Mohamed Saad and he could tell from an x-ray that I have arthritis and bone spurring. He was able to get my MRI approved with in 2 days. Its obvious the Mendelson Kornblum doesnt care about their patients and only want the money that they can make off of you. If I make an appointment with a doctor I expect to see the doctor not an incompetent PA. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.
Dr. Stewart is a wonderful doctor! I am so very glad I found her. I was seeing another RA specialist, but we just were not on the same page. I found Dr. Stewart after breaking my wrist. I sitting in a room, and saw her picture, and speciality. I knew I had to make a change ,and am so glad I did. She LISTENS, UNDERSTANDS, and I feel that is so important. She lays everything out for you, and is with you evert step of the way. I would recommend her to anyone who suffers with RA. Carla Pal
Everyone from the scheduler, x-ray technician and the doctor were very nice. I would recommend this Speciality office to anyone. They.made me feel llike I was their main focus!
Dr Bohm explained my prognosis to me promptly and came up with a game plan after looking at the x rays, and answered all my questions and concerns. The staff was helpful, friendly and professional.

Just had a knee scope. Dr. Jeff is a excellent surgeon but I hardly see him only PAs at this point. I have no problems seeing the PA but when I request the doctor I would like to be able to see the doctor. Also the support staff meaning billing, scheduling, disability etc are absolutely TERRIBLE!!! Theyve messed up my billing by having me overpay just to make an appointment so I could be seen on a phantom bill... The disability messed my paper work up which may cost me $2,000 from my employer and the previous staff I mentioned have terrible people skills. I no longer feel like a valued patient, I feel like a product on a assembly line so they can get paid. Ive had 4 surgeries total and the service over the last 6 months has just been terrible!!! The ONLY reason they get 2 stars is because Dr. Jeff is a good surgeon.
Staff was great, especially who I spoke with over the phone while scheduling my appointment. Dr. Anna was very nice didnt spend much time with her though. Her P.A. was wonderful. Would recommend.
After an injury at work and making Mendelson my back specialist, Dr. Phillphs has been exceptional to me getting the necessary care for my back pain relief. The staff is also caring and attentive to the patient needs.
EDIT: Note that this review concerns billing, internal logistics, and medical care for this Orthopedic Practice.The earlier version of this review reflected my surprise and frustration at being charged a $350 deposit to be seen by a doctor at this practice. My problem was that the scheduler, who notified me of this requirement, could not explain what this charge was for, or why it was required.After my review, I was contacted by Patty from their billing department, who was able to explain in detail why this payment practice has been adopted. Patty was polite and knowledgeable, and was able to sufficiently explain the reasons for the deposit such that I felt comfortable keeping my appointment scheduled.In the future, having an explanation posted on the website and then training call center staff to answer basic questions or direct patients to the explanation on the website would make this all *much* easier on everyone. Also, if I knew ahead of time that there were options available that would allow the practice to work with me and my insurance (instead of seeing it as $350 or bust), this whole logistical process would also be much easier.As for the quality of care I received (and continue to receive in post-op follow up), I cant be happier. Dr. Acker is a great physician, with a dry, witty sense of humor, and the staff at both locations are attentive, personable, and gentle.The surgery itself was performed efficiently, with no infection, and only mild, unavoidable side effects (which I was properly informed about prior to the surgery). The thing I appreciated the most - the sense of humor and humanity the Drs and staff had. Ive been hospitalized and under the knife more than a couple times, and the experience was refreshing.The practice definitely offers great clinicians and quality treatment. If I could dock a half star for the earlier administrative kerfluffle, I would, but the practice doesnt deserve to miss an entire star, given the quality of care Ive received.
Use caution. I went in for a meniscus tear as Dr. Jeffrey Mendelson was in-network. First two visits were 1.5 hrs of waiting for a 15 minute exam and consult. Recommendation was surgery at the Genesys center. What they failed to mention me was it was out of network and now I owe $11K. I realize that its the patients responsibility to double check. However, as the Mendelsons own Genesys, you would expect it to accept the same insurance or them do the courtesy of telling you it does not so you can make an informed decision. Just seems like a money grab so they can charge more than what insurance pays.
I am a patient at Mendelson Kornblum. I have been on pain medication for degenerative disc syndrome and a bulging disc in my lower back for several years. Dr. Icaza was very patient with me in my treatment options. A treatment called Ketemine was explained to me in great detail. After some time I decided I would try it. To my surprise it is working wonderfully. My pain is greatly reduced even though this is not my only issue. I will reccomend this practice to all I have contact with as they have all been great to me as a patient. THANK YOU !!!
If I could leave a 1 review star I would. Dr. Shironda Stewart met with someone I know about a condition that has been affecting them for over a year and 1) refused to listen to them about regarding the list of symptoms they brought forward and treated them as if nothing was wrong with them because they are young 2) after paying $300+ dollars, waiting for way too long to even see the doctor, and going through a bunch of tests that were irrelevant to my friends concerns, the Dr. simply comes back with you probably have fibromyalgia -which does not explain any of the symptoms my friend deals with 3) there was no follow through on confirming that condition through additional tests or connecting my friend with a doctor that would be able to help them further.This doctors office is so used to seeing older patients that they do not conform their analysis of lab results to younger patients who are suffering and they write off the person with a diagnosis that is not at all fitting.
My experience at Mendelson Kornblum was great! The physicians are well informed and provides the ultimate care to meet your healthcare needs. I highly recommend this practice.
Ive been going to this clinic almost a year now and I would say that the employees as well as the doctors provide excellent service. I have no complaints at all. I definitely would recommend to family and friends.
Dr. Belen is very professional and very helpful in getting my EMG.. My condolences go out to the Mendelson Family on the loss of their Father. I just found out about his passing when I was at Dr. Belens visit.
Very good dr. Acker did my total knee replacement he did the right one 2017 he was at another facility and thank God I found him at this facility an 2019 I was so happy that he was able to do both of my knee thank you Doctor Acker and I had the pleasure of working with three of their Primary Care there and they was wonderful a good team with doctors I give them 5 star

I had my right rotator cuff repaired on October 29, 2020 by Dr David Mendelson; Great doctor 😉 Im in physical therapy and looking to be back in the swing of things real soon. Shout out to all the workers risking their lives to help others get back on their feet!
Dr. Mulawa listened very closely to my symptoms, reviewed my MRI report and provided great insight to how he and the team could help me in the short term with pain management and long term possibly with surgery. Highly recommended!
The visit was very good and thorough and the doctor explained everything to me. This was a first time having a test of this nature however, the doctor in her expertise may me fill comfortable. The staff was pleasant and very professional.

Dr. Jeff Mendelson explained to me exactly what the course of action will be to fix my shoulder. His brother Dave did surgery on my ankle 12 years ago and did a great job so I know I can trust the Mendelson team.
I gave two stars because the PA I saw, Jamie, was awesome! But it would’ve been a one if it wasn’t for her. I made an appt in July and was told it was cancelled because Dr. David wouldn’t be in. I was told 3 days before my appt. They couldn’t get me in for another two weeks with a PA. They sent me to instant imaging to get an MRI and they didn’t have availability for 2 weeks and were only open 2 days for MRI’s. I had another appt with Dr. David and he magically couldn’t fulfill my appt so I saw another PA. I made an appt 6 weeks in advanced and was contacted last week saying Dr. David wouldn’t be in and they needed to reschedule. Might I add every time I had an appt it was a Friday. Extremely unprofessional in my opinion.

If you wish to be treated like a live human being, Philips is not for you. If you want to walk in, not have any conversation about your problem/condition, not hear any thoughts from the Dr, hes your man. I wont be having a follow up to find out if he can actually diagnose and treat - he couldnt do anything with a years worth of testing and treatments soooo....Front desk staff rude as is with almost every office.Office manager somewhat helpful at first, ignored me later.I did receive a refund of my overpayment with a single request.My new dr. sent a request for my records over 2 weeks ago, mendelson has failed to send and claims they never received request. My new drs office can give me the exact date of request. And to get my actual xrays that i already paid over $200 for...they want me to pay another $10!!!When i spoke with the mri office i went to and said the dr office sent me to their own mri clinic out of network, they guessed it was mendelson without me saying. And my new drs office says mendelson is pretty tricky to get records from.STAY AWAY FROM MENDELSON. I literally left my appointment with them in tears after the way i was treated .
I see Dr. Feldman for pain management. He does a great job of helping me figure out what works for my migraines and what does not. They gave me a coupon to help me pay for the botox I need for my migraines and pain.
The building is clean, the lady at the desk was nice and helpful. My Dr seemed to be in a hurry, didnt tell me what bulging and my spine meant. Had to wait for my physical therapist to tell me and show me .
That Dr Feldman is a very kind and gentle doctor. He cares about his patients he takes time with his patients he asked questions and he like you answer them. He doesn’t rush to anything.
I love Jason Mulwa he is funny and very good at what he does.

2022-06-29Dr. David Mendelson did a knee replacement surgery for me.When you are told you need this procedure it’s a lot to take in and frankly for me terrifying. However Dr. Mendelson is the best, explains everything completely, listens to your concerns and he is so easy to talk to and so down to earth. My knee is on the mend everything went beautifully! That office is awesome, don’t hesitate to make an appointment.

They make sure all your needs are met before under going surgery if needed. I feel they really care about each patient and would( and have) recommended to many people.

2022-03-23All experience with Mendelson Kornblum Orthopedic has been outstanding. They are very caring, friendly and take time to help with any questions you may have. I have recommended them to my son who had a bad injury at work which required surgery. He is so happy that I recommended them. My grand-daughter had an accident sledding which injured her requiring physical therapy. She love the care she is having. I am also there with knee problems and will be looking for knee replacement there.

2022-04-09I’ve had a new on-site of multiple orthopedic and autoimmune issues. Their team of practitioners really spent quality of time with me. They helped me get a better understanding. I was at the height of frustration with how much function I’m losing right now. I now have a plan thanks to Dr. David Mendelson and his PA. 2022-05-05I previously Had a knee replacement it has been a year and a half and I am still having problems it was complicated from the beginning but to make a long story short Dr. Jeffrey Mendelssohn I believe is putting me on the right track to hopefully improve the status of my knee right now. He was very thorough with his exam listening to my questions answering everything that I needed to know and again hopefully I will start getting results but I highly recommend Dr. Jeffrey Mendelssohn wish I had met him before I had my surgery I definitely would have let him do the surgery

2022-07-02Our experience was great. Caring, competent caregivers. Dr. Ren was awesome. My mothers surgery...a rod to fix her broken hip, went perfect. She is 85! She healed perfectly. What skill! Also ..the assistant at her office had my mother laughing. What a great lady!! Great experience all around at a great time of need. Thank you so much Dr Ren and team!!

What about people with no insurance...do you deny them care as well? You guys come highly recommended, but Ill need to go somewhere else. In a ton of pain and cant even set an appt.Disappointed
