I arrived in Delhi to stay with friends on a weekend and when we could not find the problem I called the nearest Chevy dealership on Monday. They were backed up and would not be able to get my truck in for a week. I was supposed to leave the next day. I called the Merced Chevrolet dealership and they told me to come in the next morning. They found the problem right away and fixed it. I only had to change two reservations instead of what could have been five. Everyone I dealt with in the service department was pleasant and professional.

I finally gave the car back and refused to sign any new contracts. I have excellent credit and have never had an issue buying anything I want. This has been the worst buying experience of my life. Comment: Well what started out as friendly customer service turned into me driving three hours to pick up a 22 Tahoe that was loaded and in great shape. Only to arrive to find it’ll the original owner must have smoked like a train in it. It smelled Horrendous and when I asked the car salesman about it, he said yeah the owner definitely smoked in it and they try to do some chemical treatments to not make it smell so bad. So we totally knew about. It just chose not to tell me before 3 Hour Dr. Then, after further inspecting the vehicle, I find that the entire undercarriage Was rusted out Suspension frame and all. And I will admit that, although the car salesman and the finance guy seem to be nice and pleasant to work with it was a total waste of six hours for me to show up to a vehicle that was explained to be in great condition, only to find it smelled horribly like smoke and frame was rustedI would never do business with this This company again and if you’re reading this, I would highly suggest that you asked for a lot of pictures or check the vehicle out personally if you’re local, I wouldn’t trust anything they say as it appears they are pretty low on the integrity side

Which we really appreciated because we live in Mariposa. It’s always kinda pricy to come there, but your mechanics do good reliable work, and know Chevy so no matter the problem they can fix it and get the parts. which is hard to find sometimes. Comment: Oct 27 had 11am appt, my husband takes Volt in & Jacob says Diagnostic test can’t be done right now cause going to lunch! Then why did you make appt @ 11am to bring car in! Oct 30 appt @ 8am, got there at 7:40, wanted car left there, my husband said no, he’ll wait. After Diagnostic test, Jacob says it’s a gas door switch, $20 but over $300 labor and run Diagnostic again! Husband says he’ll think on it, just need receipt so he can leave. It took over 35 min just to get a receipt to check out and pay. Jacob kept waiting on people that arrived after my husband’s appt time. He made my disabled husband (cane in hand) wait and wait. Husband kept going to him and he said “Oh yeah, I’ll get that in a minute”Worst service ever, it’s too bad one person can screw up a business’s reputation. Comment: I had to take my pickup in for emission recall they did a good job as far as that went did it in a timely fashion the only thing they didnt tell me about was the computer was going to take a long time to reprogram itself so I can get my smog done so when I took it to the smog shop they said everything has to recalibrate the truck isnt ready yet they never told me about that I would have drove it a lot more because that was the reason I really bring it in because I had a hold on my DMV renewal until I got the recall done they could at least gave me a heads up. I even drove it about 350 miles then took it to the smog shop and it still wasnt ready period I guess thats a long process I really wish they would have let me know

I did place an order for a Chevy Bolt EUV back in 05 April 23 placing a $5k deposit which I consider high in comparison to other dealers. Leaving that amount of money was not easy as I was skeptical about the whole process. For months no one reached out to me to let me know any updates about the vehicle, I had to contact Chevrolet directly to get information about my order, and finally one day I decided to call the dealership and get an update from them. After many calls finally someone did call me back. I did receive my vehicle on Aug 20. The process of paying for the vehicle was easy and painless, it did help that I was preapproved by my local credit union and that the price of the vehicle was agreed to be at MSRP, that was great!

I said please have my car ready for pickup and declined for them to fix it. Upon changing both the brakes and rotors this was not the case. Both sides of my wife’s car had at least 75% life left and the rotors were fine. Very disappointed. We trust these people to work on our vehicles we transport our family in. Big responsibility. Uncle Bob is a great and relatable sales person, at no point in time did he pressure me into the sale, he let me guide the interaction and answered any questions I had, with an abundance of knowledge!Not only did things go smoothly in the sales department, but the Finance Manager, Junior, made signing the millions of documents fun and enjoyable. He explained every document throughly, as this was my first ever car purchase, and ease me through my new buyer anxiety!Had quite a few laughs, smiles and handshakes, they even encouraged my young daughter to ring the (deal closed) bell after I had already rang it!The only suggestion I would have is, if possible, to switch all the document signing to an electronic format. There is so many papers used during the process, switching to electronic signing would truly save some trees!EDIT:I actually went in recently to trade in my Jeep for a 2022 Chevy Trailblazer, and, again, Uncle Bob was an absolute treasure! Comment: I appreciated the service provided by the gentleman who handled my warranty repair. Unfortunately I cannot remember his name at this time. He was pleasant and very professional. The warranty repair was handled satisfactorily and so far the car seems to be operating normally. The only unfortunate circumstance worth mentioning was the condition of the car when it was returned to us. It was dirty, with smudged fingerprints on the steering wheel, shifter handle and interior door handle. There was also a crumpled sheet of paper on the floor board, also covered in dry grease. None of these tarnish our appreciation of the warrantied repair, but this is not an experience weve had at the other 3 dealerships weve worked with in the area over the past 10 years. Im sharing this just as an FYI.

Comment: I took my Silverado in because it was leaking differential fluid. (It was still under warranty.) Less than 2 weeks later I heard suspicious noise. It had little or no fluid. Either they didnt fix the leak or didnt put fluid in it after replacing the seal.I also had them change the oil. They forgot to apply my Rewards number so I could get the $ applied and I didnt notice it until after I paid. At that point they said it was too late.I had to take it to another Chevy dealer to get the differential fixed. To make matters worse, I had to pay for the repair this time eventhough its under warranty. Ive filed a complaint/claim with Chevrolet and will update this if appropriate.

Comment: Not the best sales department. Kept calling me about suburbans they didnt even have in stock or were sold already. Do your homework sales people. Dont waist peoples time. They would call me and tell me they had Suburbans available and that we should come take a look at it before it sells and then after looking into the inventory and going to put their hands on it before I drive 2 hours to go see it come to find out its already sold or in transit and sold. Or be careful when they tell you they have one in stock. Make sure they actually check to make sure its a suburban and not a Tahoe. Wouldnt be the first time that we were going going to go check it out and finally found out last minute it was a Tahoe and not a Suburban. Come on folks!

Comment: Took my Car in to get diagnosed, they couldn’t find anything wrong with the car when clearly there was an issue. Asked to have recommended service done but apparently they don’t have the correct adapters for my transmission lines that needed to be serviced, they recommended the service and couldn’t do it. kind of a bummer because you pay a premium going to the actual Chevy dealership expecting they are the certified technicians and should be able to service your Chevy. Took my car to an independent shop and they diagnosed my low pressure fuel pump as failing, few hundred later and my car is running great. Service advisors were nice though.

Comment: My parents bought a truck here not too long along. They organized to have at their oil changes here at the Merced Chevrolet they require you to make an appointment. Every time we have left our vehicle there they have said we will have it done before lunch they take lunch at 1 PM every time it’s not done until 4 PM or longer. Keep in mind we don’t live in Merced. Who wants to spend a Friday waiting almost 7 hours for you’re vehicle. It’s completely ridiculous and I have called to check the service advisor says “ did we call you yet” obviously not! I’m calling to check why it’s taking so much time to do a oil change. We left razzari for the same reason thinking this place would be better but it’s not. If I could give no stars I totally would I do not recommend to get you’re car serviced here. You guys should also be aware that not everybody lives in Merced people that buy cars from you guys not only live in Merced and the shuttle was supposed to take my mother back to Her home which is 50 minutes away. And bring her back in the same shuttle I highly doubt that. It would be nice to have a courtesy call letting us know how the vehicle is going because after seven hours is ridiculous waiting for a car

Comment: I do 3 starts not because of the guy that helped me but because of the way they do their appointments and the lack of loaners.I called to schedule an oil changed appointment and the closest one was 3 weeks from the day I called, which is fine, I figure they are busy.I go to my appointment and they tell me it will take about 4-5 hours because they were real busy, you will think having an appointment (schedule 3 weeks ago) will give you priority regardless of any other jobs they have.So I say, ok, do you a loaner? so I can go back to work and come back when my car is ready? Merced Chevrolet is about the only dealer Ive been that do not have loaners, that is pretty bad if you are not able to keep up with appointments. If they have to work on your car for more than 4 hours, you need a loaner, I have always done that in the Bay Area dealerships.Other than that, I appreciate my guy was able to get my car done in 90 minutes, better than 4 hours. I have always got my cars at the bay area, but wanted to be local now and try our local dealers, which I think they do great - its just the process I believe they need to improve.

Not only was she able to get us the car my son wanted, but we were able to get a decent interest rate and price as well. Id been looking for a certain car at one of the upper trim levels for a decent price all over but couldnt find one on any of the sites until I saw their add on Cars.com. As soon as I sent in a request for more information they got back to me and sent me the total after taxes and fees, and even worked with me through text messaging to give me a generous offer on my trade in car. A bit more than Id expected, even, with the amount of miles it had on it.Once I got there, Craig (their salesperson) came right to my car to welcome me and get the process started. It took a while to get everything done, but after all the paperwork was signed they brought my new car washed and filled with gas.I recommend these guys to everyone. I even left something kind of important in my trade in, and Craig was nice enough to mail it to me the next day. He even sent me the tracking number. Thanks Craig, and Merced Cheverolet.
