Comment: We came here to repair the abnormal noise of the car, which cost nearly $2,500. After a day, we still heard the same abnormal noise after receiving the car. So we came here again and expressed our doubts about the abnormal noise, but they showed us the parts in different locations they were repairing, but our need was to solve the problem of abnormal noise of the car. We tried to communicate with the manager and the maintenance staff. The problem of abnormal noise still existed, but they repaired another And tell us that this abnormal sound is normal, so what are we here for? Is it for the repair of a part we dont know? Not for the abnormal sound we know? We tried to ask the staff in the store to find the same car to test that the sound was normal, but they said they couldnt find the same, and we negotiated again. If I went to another car repair shop and they told me that the abnormal sound was abnormal, should the Mercedes-Benz 4S store be responsible for this matter? Their answer was that they were not responsible. I really dont know what to say. This experience is very bad. Please think twice.

Once arriving, he was a bit busy but came outside and greeted me, helped me with my tire replacement with no pushback. My time was but tight he was able to work with me which I understand that shop can be busy and also they have other vehicles in the shop. They provided with transportation, and informed me once my vehicle was completed. Comment: Wish I could leave a zero star review for the absolute scam that they are running at this place. Wish I would’ve checked the Yelp reviews before taking my car here. Managers are never to be found but they seem to have the time to waste your time by having you make multiple trips to the dealer because they don’t want to cough up $50 for the loaner they provide you. They made every attempt to deem my service out of warranty before they even found the problem. Guess what, the part was in warranty. Now that we got them beat on that they say I can take my car home and bring it back when the part arrives. Mind you, my key fob does not work. I have to remove the key cover on my door and use the manual key to open the door, and then I have to put my key fob INSIDE my center console for the car to start. It took them almost 3 months to find that it was the rear window that was causing problems because of a bad solder from factory. Also, they charged us for the loaner and we pointed it out, they said it was a mistake on their end. MIND YOU, they’ve done this to multiple people. Check Yelp. They’ll charge you and if you don’t notice, well that’s money in their pocket. Absolutely horrible experience and just a waste of time.

Comment: Scheduled an appointment for 9:15 on Saturday 4/13/2024 several employees approached me with justifications why I had to wait, over booking, unexpected maintenance of other vehicles with NO appointments. My car was not taken for almost an hour. I waited, no discussion of additional services. When Richard finally came over saying my vehicle was ready it was 11:30 a.m. and they were getting my vehicle. I witness many employees just walking around killing time and not working with a sense of urgency. I walked outside after signing for my paperwork and was told my car is coming, waited another 20 minutes walked inside asked for the Service Manger’s name and extension I walked outside waiting another 10 minutes and went over to ask for Richard the receptionist called Richard letting him know I needed to speak to him. I walked outside and called Ryan Liu the Service Manager it’s Thursday no return phone all. You purchase a luxury vehicle and have only owned Mercedes vehicles for the past 20 years. I will never go back, will go to Fletcher in Orange County instead they treat customers much better than West Covina. I finally got my vehicle 3 hours later and left at 12:15 p.m. it was only a minor vehicle warranty replacement. This location has no idea how to treat customers was it because it was a free service, I hope you take this post seriously and go elsewhere.

I bought the tire insurance when I bought the Mercedes, and they changed the inferior tires and didnt tell me, which caused both tires to burst on the highway. I had no other way to let the trailer tow the car to the Mercedes-Benz west covina service, but they calculated 1151.84 money, I said that I cant pay the money because they fault, but their staff James hou said that I cant take back my car without paying the money, so I had to pay the money first. I dont think it´s reasonable to pay for my good tires for my bad tires.If you value your life, dont buy or maintain a car here.

He handled everything to perfection, when I arrived to the service department to drop of my vehicle, he already had a loaner car ready for me. I did not have to struggle at all. Im very pleased with how I was treated. He gave me an estimated time of how long it would take for the car to be ready and that is how it went. Both my mother and father are regular clients at the West Covina Mercedes Benz Dealer. Today my father needed to drop off his car for maintenance and parked his car adjacent to the main entrance, then moments later Id arrived about seven yards behind him (I didnt want to park too far because my father is elderly). Then a valet service man (Latin, with glasses, about 57) approaches me, I lowered my window and very pleasantly greeted him saying: Good Morning! Im just here to pick up this gentleman He then responds: Can you move your car behind the one behind you... Thats all (No: Good Morning, No: Thank you, No: Can you kindly park over there Absolutely no manners, no professionalism. I strongly feel that this dealership needs to have further training for the employees who are the FIRST to greet its customers, to give more prestige to the Mercedes Benz Brand!

My mom owns a brand new 2021 Mercedes GLB and been serviced by Peter Yee since her 1st service appointment and we picked him because he speaks Chinese to help with my mom’s language barrier. What an irony he did none of those.We recently discovered her 2 front tires were extremely worn off almost bald, but the 2 rear tires are like brand new.My mom said Peter has been advising her no need to rotate in the past service appointments (mind you those appointments costs average $500+ each). I immediately scheduled her an appointment for today to get new tires and left a note demanding a reason why Peter is giving such bad advises. My mom said Peter brushed her off without giving a proper explanation, in addition she got charged a labor fee about $300 to align and install her new tires.The invoice doesn’t even specify what services were performed and what those labor was for. This wood is defective and peeling with sharp edges. I took it to Rusnak Mercedes Benz in Arcadia to replace it while it was still under warranty. It took 2 months to get a response from Rusnak Mercedes. During the 2 months waiting for a response the 2-year warranty expired! Per the Service Manager Mike Marsh, said they cannot warranty the item and referred me back to the selling dealership (Mercedes Benz West Covina) where I purchased the item. I went to Mercedes Benz West Covina and spoke to their service manager Ryan Liu. He said the item is not out of warranty and could not warranty the item. However as a courtesy as a Mercedes Bens client they will give me 50% off a new replacement or referred me back to Rusnak Mercedes Bens where I originally reported the defective item. I went back to Rusnak and they said there is nothing they can do. Now I have a steering wheel with sharp edges which make the vehicle difficult to drive and I have been driving it this way for 3 months now with no resolution in sight.

Comment: I made an appointment on 8/2 Wednesday morning, and I arrived at 9:20. The repair was made, but there was no scooter, so I came back. I arrived at 8:00 a.m. the next morning on 8/3 and didnt assign my car until 9:30. These are all small problems. The main reason is that when I arrived to pick up the car at 12:15 on Tuesday, 8/8, the two problems of repairing the car were not solved. 1. When the steering wheel turned, there was an abnormal noise. The answer was that I had a problem with the computer settings. When I drove home, the abnormal noise still existed. 2. The left air outlet blade in the rear row bounces up and cannot go down. I checked the car with the receptionist and saw that the problem was not dealt with. When he drove the car back to the rear maintenance room and returned again, my blades could not move, and he told me that the cracks in the left appearance were man-made, and the one on the right was also broken, which was responsible for himself. I dont think my child kicked badly. He sits in the back right, five years old. My service staff saw that the third blade on the left side was detached from the link iron sheet on the side of it, which was made by the repairman. But he replied to me that my outlet was already bad. They wont touch it again. My car was driven for more than 50 miles, and no problems were solved. The last time I came back, I found that the drivers seat belt could not be pulled out smoothly, and there were traces of being pry. They dont admit that it was done by their mechanic. The wire sleeve under the drivers seat was also lost. Anyway, they made me lose trust in Mercedes-Benz. Inexplicably, there are some minor problems. I drove to other repair shops and said that my steering wheel was out of oil... Ill change to another place and wont come here... Ill worry that there will be other problems waiting to find out after repairing this problem. I havent counted as many as this one in the past three years.

This is owned by a 3rd party company and theyll give you a Toyota as a loaner which I have nothing against but If I drop off my car I feel like I should get something around the same as a loaner but I get a dirty car that’s covered with dog hairs and smells like dog.It also had front bumper damage which the worker did not know of! He told me to take pictures of the car. I refused to accept it and went to Mercedes Of Ontario, They matched my car without asking and the experience was amazing! I visited the West Covina Mercedes Benz Service Center with an appointment at 7:45 am due to a recall for the mounting trim bar (rear door trim) of my 2023 GLE 350. Richard Airada was my service consultant and informed me that it will take 2.5 hours to complete service and wash. He offered me a complimentary Lyft ride back to my house. After waiting for approximately 40 minutes in the lobby for the Lyft driver I asked Richard why the wait is rather long. He was surprised I was still waiting and after looking into it I got a text from Lyft and my driver arrived in 3 minutes. It seems that someone did not call Lyft until I complained. After waiting for 3 hours and still not being contacted by Richard I texted him as to why my SUV is still not available. Since he did not respond I returned to the Service Center. After I approached him he notified me that since I went home priority was given to customers that were waiting in person. I was never informed of this practice! I would of stayed and waited for my vehicle if I would of known. Once they inspected my SUV it was determined that everything was ok and replacements were not necessary! After waiting for a total of about 5 hours my SUV was ready and I was able to leave after 1:00 p.m. I did speak to the Service Manager of my experience in hopes that no other Mercedes Customer walks out of their establishment feeling disappointed. I just had huge expectations from a luxury dealership that prides itself for great customer service! I definitely did not expect horrible customer service! I will Not be returning to this location.

Both times our excellent Service Advisor, George Kakish, gave us a 0700 time slot so we could get in and out in a reasonable 2-3 hours. He confirmed what I had requested and informed me what to expect. The work performed was complete and very professionally done. Communications were good, too. At 11:30 they say I have a bad valve stem and right rear inside will not hold air. $68 to fix. Great let’s do it. I wait. Finally at 2pm they say another hour. At 3pm they bring in around and say they could not lift it to get wheel off and fix. Sell me a plastic part they call a stem. Say is what I need. I call Tire Pros who said they could do it but as late in day to come next morning.I come and they say the part is not a stem but a plastic extender. Check both right rear tires and they take and hold air and we’re fine.I call MB twice, get recording and leave message. Call back for service manager and get a recording that box full.While waiting I ask Tire Pros to check other tires and find the Left rear inside not taking air. Some type of problem with stem. However the part from MB is a plastic extension and not a stem. Per Tire Pros I would need a specific valve stem.Several calls back to MB and still waiting.Nice people, beautiful showroom. Bad repair service and bad customer service.

Today I went in for service as usual, but my handler told me they only offer rental for service over 4 hours or overnight. Comment: I took my Mercedes to get my brakes serviced yesterday, I had an appointment with Valerie she was really kind and very helpful!! Everything was going well and all the employees were very friendly.When I picked up my car I was just handed my Mercedes remote with my house key and my keychain was missing!! I had a Louis Vuitton keychain attached to my keys! I was told that they sometimes take the keychains off and leave them in the cup holders, so I go to my car and check and I didnt see my keychain anywhere after searching the whole car. I go back inside and let them know that my keychain was missing! They ask around and no one has seen it. At this point I’m very upset because my keychain was not cheap and upset at the fact that anybody would take it. I let Valerie know what was going on and she started calling people on the walkie and asking around, she even pulled up the video footage of when they recorded my car to see if you can see my keychain throughout the video. She called up one of the workers who worked on my car and asked him if he had seen it and he said no, and said that there was no keychain. Then he offered to “look” for it in my car and found it right away, which was sus and I know he must’ve taken it and put it back. At this point I just wanted to leave because I was already late to work. Anyway thank you Valerie for all your help!! The fact that you cared and went out of your way to help meant a lot!

What made it bad was my TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE with GEORGE KAKISH. I was picking up my car and he handed me my paperwork and didn’t even look me in the eye, didn’t say hello, barely even acknowledged me. I had to seek him out to ask questions and get anything even remotely useful or kind out of him. Omg I recommend asking for another worker, anyone other than him because he was so rude and sexist and belittling. What a terrible worker especially for a luxury brand. 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Comment: The events that unfolded today have led me to decide to never bring any of my Mercedes vehicles to this dealership in the future. I’ve serviced my Mercedes Vehicles here many times over the last few years and my experiences were great up until Annika Jimenez handled herself inappropriately today. The disrespect that I received today was unacceptable. Annika (my sales advisor) made it evident that her priority was to gain commission for selling services as opposed to providing great service. She doesnt care about the customer one bit and when you turn down a service she offers, she acts like you are wasting her time and gets rude. I brought in one of my vehicles for a service and was charged over 1k for after I went home the vehicle was leaking a substance and had an error screen on the dashboard. I called the dealership back to book me another appointment and I brought the vehicle back to them. Annika wants to charge me another $400 for the diagnostic despite the fact that there is a possibility that they did not properly service my car. We decline because we just spent over 1k on the service that shouldve detected any leaks or issues in the car. I asked her why we are being charged to check on something that shouldve already been detected and she replied you should let us know whats wrong with the vehicle so we can inspect it. The tone that she used when speaking to me was condescending and VERY different from when I initially purchased the first service. Why is the customer supposed to know what is wrong with the vehicle beforehand? THEY are the experts! I thought that was the point of bringing in a vehicle to a dealership for servicing that is supposed to be top-notch? She could care less about making it right for the customer. If I were you Id skip out on this service center and go to Ontario or even Riverside where you will be treated with more respect.

Think I’ll stick to Rusnak Mercedes Benz in Arcadia. Much more efficient and professional there.This place is going through a change in ownership from Penske. Don’t know if this a good thing. Air bag was not flushed and there was damaged to the driver side(Rear and front) Didnt noticed the damaged till I washed my car, because for some odd reason they didnt. After going back and forth I told him I will stop by Monday. Monday came around and I asked to speak to a manager. Brian (manager) and I sat and watch the tape and tried to locate when and where my car was damaged. But of course some very important angles of the tape were not working that day so there was really nothing to see . An hour went by and another gentleman came along and told Brian to just fix it that it wasnt worth the time looking at the tapes. So i left the car there once more. A day later I got a txt from Mathew whos favorite word is I dont know when ever you question something that doesnt make sense. He said that the car was ready fo pick up. An hour later roughly I get another text saying that the scratches are still there, and the the car will not be ready that day. So I left the car for couple days more. I had advised Mathew that I will pick up the car on Sat before 5, I never got a response back. To my surprise they close early on Saturday,I figure that out when I go to the dealership, and there was no one there. The communication with that guy is blows my mind. Today Monday,he txt me again saying that the rental will need to be returned today, and that the car is ready (again). I head outhere after work, and as Im looking at where the damaged was, you can still see scratches so he takes it back to get fixed. 15 minutes later he comes back. I take a quick glance/ walk around the car and I take off. When I get home I noticed over spray on the opposite side of the car (how that happens? No freaking idea) At this point I am extremely upset and angry. I called/sent Mathew a picture and got to respond, so I drove back. Spoke to Brian (manager) and told him that this is BS. I couldnt believe the customer service and my luck with at this point. Ofcourse they tried saying the car was like that, although Mathew and I both walked the car and never seen such over spray the second time I dropped of the car. I went on and explain how there was no way. I had just replaced my headlights and had my car ceramic coated. The car was extremely shinny .there was just no way possible. After arguing for what it seem like internity. Brian told one of his guys to polish it out. 15 minutes later he comes back and most of it is off. At that point Id had it. I just told them to give me my keys, because I just couldnt take the inconsistency off the workmanship. Figure Im better doing it myself . There is so much more that I left out like them breakkng my hood shocks and saying they were like that already and many other conversations, but itll turn into a book. I shouldve learn from my bad experience last year. If you take you car here PLEASE inspect your car well. As well when you pick it up. They will not take blame. The techs there obviously do not care. I do have to say that the manager Brian was understanding or at least wanted too, so I thank him for that. But the workers need to get their stuff together. Also please take note of the milage you leave your car in, because they take 4 mile joy rides and say that your car was not test driven.

Comment: Parts guy knew nothing. Needed lug nuts for steel wheels on 2010 sprinter and Nicholas had no clue. Plus they only had like 3 in stock. I needed 24. Wth? Steel wheels on any 2010-2018 Sprinters all use same lug nut. He should know that.SERVICE DEPARTMENT experience even worse. Overpriced and my service advisor could not explain the difference between an oil change for my Sprinter ($249) and an A service ($312). I wanted to know what I would get for the additional $63 and could not come up with anything. Finally, after I pressed him and I was clearly annoyed, he said the Adblue (Mercedes diesel additive) was the difference. I feel like he just thought of that as a way to say something and not look like he was uninformed. The guy who booked the appointment said the difference was an air filter. Im still not sure.The WORST thing is they supposedly did a multipoint inspection in the tiny amount of time that the vehicle was with an actual mechanic and said the front suspension was fine. Obviously, the mechanic performed only the most cursory glance at the vehicle since he missed my worn out struts, bad wheel bearings and worn out rack and pinion. These are parts that affect the safety of the vehicle. You would expect such expensive service to include a proper, honest, inspection. I did NOT get this from Penske Mercedes of West Covina.

Comment: My very first post here in Google reviews, because for the most part, I let things slide on minor issues, Im a small business owner also, its hard to make everyone happy. But this one, I cant just let go because its my hard-earned money. Ill try to keep it short and straight to the point, please follow the simple logic(you dont have to be a mechanic to understand it) and then look at the simple analogy.E500 (93k miles) gas pedal wont respond, you have to press on it for 2-4 seconds before it responds(try making a left on a busy intersection with it, if you want some excitement in your life).Took it in Nov 7th, told them its not a pedal issue and to check the WIRING HARNESS.Nov 8th, they said we have to start with the gas pedal, $735.88, because the one in there looks old. Wrinkled, gray-haired, I dont know what that means.Nov 9, new pedal didnt fix the issue. Told you so!!!!!Nov 12, they said it needs now a new ECU(computer), and its no guarantee it will fix it, $2,110! Ouch!!!Nov 16, new ECU still didnt fix the issue.Nov 23, we still need further diagnosis to find the problem.Nov 28, still checking the car, will try THE WIRING HARNESS now. (Looks like finally, after 21 days of telling them)Nov 30, the tech made a repair wire harness today, made a new harness for the pedal directly to the computer, looks like its working now. So looks like it is the wiring harness, not the pedal, not the ECU hmmmm....Dec 4, per PENSKE MERCEDES SERVICE its best to leave the new pedal and new ECU, since its a wiring issue, its probable that the old ECU was shorted out, too. The charge will be $1779 . Remember, the new pedal and new ECU didnt fix it, see Nov 9 and Nov 16.What the heck? Probable? so youre not sure? Ok, can we put the old ECU back to test then?Putting it back will be on you if it will have issues, and if you want it back, well charge you for the core $199 My core, never was theirs.Now, Im scared. So Im stuck with a $2k ECU, (discounted to $1779, wow what a deal) which I never really needed in the first place if the diagnosis was done correctly. If they had done the wire harness as we suggested before the ECU incident, then I wouldve paid less for the wire harness service, right folks? Now Im down $1779 with a brand new ECU I can show off to nobody. To add insult to injury, they gave me only 6 days for a loaner, they had the car for a month, had to return after the 1st 4 days, come back after a couple of days to get the 2-day loaner.Analogy: Wired mouse doesnt work all of a sudden on your computer, What do you do?a) Check the mouse itself, make sure the ball or the light worksb) Check the wire to the USB port make sure no break on the wirec) Check the USB port itself, maybe a dead portd) Check the wire harness from the USB port to motherboarde) Replace the motherboard, check the wires laterPENSKE MERCEDES picked E!!!! Comment: The maintenance cost is high, and it will not be repaired. Obviously, if the parts are not bad, they will say that they are broken. Take the professional owners fool. The problem that was originally very small has become a big problem here. The things that can be solved by spending $300 can cost at least $3000 or more.
