They are a great place to go if you want to be able to see everything together (Flooring, backsplash, counters) but I cannot recommend their installers. While they did attempt to make it right by sending their number one guy out and gave me a little bit of a discount, Im still cleaning up the mess they left at my house. Im not a complainer and hesitated to leave this review but every day Im cleaning up their mess. Posting just 1 picture but it says it all. This molding is brand new and was placed after the counter top went in. This is what the backsplash guys left me with.
My friend referred me to Metro Flooring after visiting many different flooring/carpet businesses. The service and the quality of the of its products are unmatched. The workers very kind and personable. They directed me to exactly what I was looking for! I definitely recommend this place if your looking for great service and quality products.
They did a great job with fair pricing. with my carpet and tiling as well as countertop! and they made sure to come on time! I will highly recommend! They were the one thing consistent with the moving process! Thank you to George and his team!
Finished product by Metro Carpet and Floors, great for easy jobs. But I wouldn’t recommend if you have any areas that require a little extra creativity and effort.

This my second whole house flooring job by George. He had more samples than any other flooring company and was the best price. The installers were great and made several modifications I requested during installation no questions asked. Floors look great!
George, Hassan and the rest of the Metro Carpet crew took great care of us when installing our basement floor. There were some minor quality issues at first but George and his team went above and beyond to ensure the flooring looked perfect and they made sure we were completely satisfied. The flooring looks fantastic and we highly recommend Metro Carpet!

If you are looking for a flooring company that sells quality flooring and has the genuine customer service to back it up, look no further. They worked with me over two months helping me decide on what flooring I wanted within my price range. After countless samples they ordered and many calls answering my questions we finally found something. Jad was extremely helpful and patient as I tried to find the perfect flooring for my first home. He was always prompt to respond and did not hesitate to order me whatever sample I wanted to see in person. The price for the products are unbeatable and their install team is just as good. They told me 3-4 days and they were able to finish everything in around 2 days! I will definitely be using them again for rental properties and future homes to come! I had no idea shopping and install of my flooring would have been that effortless and enjoyable.

They have a HUGE selection of Carpet and flooring styles making it easy for anyone to find what they are looking for. George and his crew are knowledgeable and have worked in the field for many years. They will work with each client and find the best option for any type of budget. During the install at my home, the workers were friendly and able to get it done in a timely fashion. They even helped move back bigger furniture with me after install was finished. 10/10 would recommend Metro.
I had a great experience getting carpet for my new house. I called on a Friday and they came out that Monday to measure. Installation was easy and a great price for quality carpet. Highly recommended! Vito was great to work with.
Really huge store lots of possibilities for what you’re looking for . The outside could use some remodeling to give it a more appealing look but other than that it was good
I’ve ordered vinyl tile, porcelain tile, porcelain back splash , ledger stones and everything was delivered as promised and looked great. George is a great guy to work with and always answers me even if it was after hours to give me advice on other projects in the house and he has a good taste. I keep referring people to him because I know he will not disappoint. Thank you George ! See you soon once I start my basement project.
I have used Metro Floors Dearborn Heights for multiple homes through out the years. Vito, along with installers are top notch! From the order, to coordination of install...seamless. Highly recommend. I would rate higher than 5 stars if it was available. See you again next year when the next home project starts!
Fantastic Customer Service! Super fast and highly skilled work. Great Pricing. Cant ask for more than that. Picked out the floors one day, they were able to install the next day! Now, I recognize I got lucky with the scheduling, but that would never have happened at any other store. My basement remodel only took a weekend thanks to Metros great work on the floors. We are super pleased and will go back again.

I used them to put in carpet in a house I was selling. From the call to the installation, they were fast and professional. I called again for the house I moved into. Abe did a great job on trying to schedule me in... I had to cancel due to discovering original hardwood but I appreciate his understanding. I will call them again when I need carpet. I like that we were able to handle most of the decisions over the phone.
We had the best experience at Metro. The guys there were unbelievably nice and really knew their stuff. The selection is fantastic too, you could spend a day exploring in there. I’ll definitely be a lifelong customer.
The company claims to match and or beat any competitors that have a store Front. If I could leave a negative star it would surely get negative 5 stars.I presented the store associate with a signed order from a local competitor ( Reading Metro Carpet and floors “price match policy that had NO DISCLAIMER) that had met all of the qualifications listed on their website and was denied the Metro carpets price match guarantee. I don’t know if you could put “Integrity” and “Metro carpet” in the same sentence, unless someone recently changed the definition? If there are reasons you would not honor your policy, you should probably list them rather than shady advertising and misrepresentation.
Worse experience if I would give them less than zero I’ll do that would never ever recommend them to anybody , they very unprofessional and unreasonable and never finish there job in the expected time
First of all the store salesman Vito was exceptional.However, the guys that came out to install the carpet were not to say the least, specifically the older guy who wreaked of cigarette smoke and was not pleasant at all.They will not wear booties on their shoes and will track dirt and mud into your home on to the new carpet. The older guy will leave cigarette buds in your driveway and when finished will say hey can you come look at the carpet, I have to get going.Basically the good service stops with Vito.
This place deserves 5 stars for their work as well as their employees. We worked with Mo who helped us from start to finish and he made the process so easy. I’m extremely happy with our new floors and our new carpet, they did an AMAZING job and there was no mess after. Definitely recommend coming here!!
Great services, great prices very professional. They have a variety of different colors and styles to choose from. Employees are very friendly and helpful. I purchased my carpet and had it install the next day. Will continue to come here and recommend this place to everyone.
I live out of state so I have to do all the work for my rental property remote. I have worked with several different contractors but my first experience with Metro Carpet was just excellent! Jad made it very easy for me. Not only he got me a great deal but also he kept in touch with me till the end of the project. He truly wants his customers to be HAPPY. The team did a very good job and were very professional both on the phone and in person.They were prompt and arrived within the arrival time frame that they promised and were very efficient when they were there. True to their word, courteous and without a doubt the best experience I had in Michigan. I would definitely recommend and will personally keep using Metro Carpet for my properties.

My husband and I bought a new house and we had the rooms re-carpeted. After visiting many other stores, we were referred to see Jad at Metro Carpet. Our experience from the 1st phone call to the last minute the installers left was beyond perfection! I am very picky and use to be in sales so Im pretty good at reading salespeople and Jad was nothing like that. He listened to what I wanted, let me browse in peace and then guided me when I asked questions. His showroom is unbelievable and I picked 3 different carpets to match my house. Everytime he made a promise, he kept it and was very fun to deal with. He clearly enjoys his job and my husband and I truly enjoyed his sense of humor. The installers came in and were beyond professional and did the best job I have ever seen! What I picked was not an easy installation and yet the entire house is jaw dropping because of the quality of carpet and the perfect installation! All my guests actually take their shoes off just to walk on our carpet thats how soft it feels. I HIGHLY recommend Metro Carpet. I went to both showrooms (Dearborn Heights and Farmington Hills) and received the same excellent customer service. This is a company I will refer and use forever, def giving an A++++++ rating!
In my house remodeling business you have to have reliable partnerships. Metro Carpet is definitely one of them. Theres always good selection of products and affordable prices for every budget.Just like in any business, sometimes problems occur, but they are always handled by George and Co. very efficiently and in a professional manner.Metro Carpet is my exclusive source of flooring for the last 9 years on all my remodel jobs and I never looked for anyone else.These guys are definitely first to call if you need floor coverings!
Definitely recommend-100%! Our realtor recommended Metro Carpet and we were not disappointed. Jad beat the big box store prices by $1,000. The old carpet was removed, subfloors vacuumed, and new pad and carpet expertly installed. We had a whole house, including stairs and closets done in one day. We ordered our carpet on a Saturday and the installation was Monday! If you need anything floor related-this is the place to get. There are high quality remnants as well. Skip the big box stores and head here instead-it’s worth it and you won’t regret it. Thank you so much Jad for everything and for making our home so cozy!!!

I used their services for granite countertops, hardwood floors for stairs , laminate and tiles floors and stone to facelift the fireplace . Highly recommended!

Nice sales rep on Vito. Good price. Installation seemed to be contracted out. Their installation was good, but cleanup wasnt great. I keep finding random nails. Overall I would recommend Metro if they addressed the installation cleanup issue.

I paid almost $2000 for carpeting for a Reno I was doing on my house. Had all new floor molding and the installers marred and gouged up the molding. They also didnt know how to make a good seam in the family room, as you can see the separation. I will be spending a bit of time fixing their poor performance.
Theyre just very personable and friendly. After they did an excellent install in the basement I had a pipe leaking ruin a good chunk of the carpet. Theyre super helpful and super friendly in getting me patched up.

I first spoke with the MCF owner George. I was looking for a commercial or theater carpeting. There are very FEW stores which have a decent selection of this carpet. Metro Carpet is the best of a limited selection . The price George gave the finest kind.. Moreso, theater carpeting is colorful, bright, & lively, like you might see in a theater or mall. Strong, durable carpeting. Easy to keep clean. I have kids and grand kids, and family, and I wanted a kid friendly choice to make the basement a fun place to play. Metro Carpet exceeded my expectations. The installation by stretch method intact, precise, and the 3 man crew did a spacious basement in about 5+ hours time. But not a rush work. The stairs on basement steps also done perfectly. Seamless. I would recommend Metro Carpet in Dearborn Heights. George was very personable, and professional with me.
Best place to go for carpet. I needed carpet for my kids play room. They gave me the best price. I even shopped around and nobody beat their price. They delivered the carpet the next day and did a great job. Highly recommend.

Went in to get an estimate on some carpeting, when the sales person asks is the stairs going up, or going down in all seriousness. Then without even asking me the amount of carpet needed; the kid quotes me $150... lol was really hoping I didnt have to even give them 1 star but that wasnt my choice. Maybe more knowledgeable sales reps should take the floor. Clearly all these people care about is taking your money.
Awesome staff. I had my basement done by them. Eventually that house was sold and when I bought my new house, I immediately went to them for carpet again. I recommend them to anyone looking for carpet. Awesome people.
Finished my whole house in 2 days, the installers that came to the house went above and beyond what they where paid to do. I will use metro for all my homes and will make sure to let it be known on what a good job they did. everything was put back into place.I took my quote to the store and they worked with me to beat it, I am happy I chose metro and would have paid extra to do the job with them after seeing how it turned out.
Best place to get carpet. Great installers, great owner. Weve been using them for a decade for carpet and just added some wood flooring. They did an excellent job!
ABSOLUTE WORST! This company was a nightmare to work with!! The first installers were rude and completely unprofessional. The second installers were nice, but burned my carpet when trying to repair a seam. It has been over a YEAR of calling, speaking to managers and waiting for them to call me back, telling me they would replace the damaged area........and NOTHING. DO not use this company, you will regret it!

I was referred to Metro for countertops. They gave me a great price after I told them the square footage. George sent me out to Farmington to look at slabs. I picked one out and they faxed George my info.I didnt hear from him, so I called Metro to see what was going on. I called twice per day for 4 days and left messages for George to call me back and I havent heard from anyone.....???????Cant give them my business as I feel the same thing will happen again .....

This company is incompetant. Never have them in your hone. They are only out for money. They do not keep appointments. Do not call to cancel if they are not coming. They send out someone who is clueless to estimate who has no idea what they are looking for and do not even report that old tile needs to come up before new can go down. Scaring incompetant even the owner whom I met personally is clueless. Run run run.

We had carpet replaced in a room of our house and are very happy! Mo did a great job with installation and we appreciated him respecting our request that he wear a mask. Taking away the old carpet was included in the price and our experience in store setting everything up was great, too. They had tons of choices and all staff were friendly, not pushy, and quite professional. I think well be having them out to replace our kitchen floors next.

2021-12-29I was overwhelmed with the quality, service, and how professional they were. Moving is not an easy process but Goerge and his team made this experience as pleasant as possible. I highly recommend them for any job from carpeting, flooring, and tilling thank you so much for doing a great job on my new condo. If I can go higher than five stars I would I can’t thank you enough for a wonderful service.

2022-04-20Vito helps us to install new quartz countertop for kitchen. Vito is the best sales I ever see, he is professional and quick response, always make works go smoothly and as my requests. His team Vasile, Ali and Alio also did the great work. Nice and clean! Very friendly people and even do the work with higher standard than myself, align every tiny thing and provide suggestions. I am not available to be home when they installed, they still come back next day to adjust tiny things for me. I really appreciate it. Highly recommended.

Most places these days schedule you months away, but they had my new carpets installed in 3 weeks.I could tell the owner (George) has been in the game a long time, which is always reassuring and a plus.Lastly, and this may not apply to most, but he has a great sub-selection of basic tier carpets for rental properties. I need a few rooms done in on location and basement in another, and was really happy to find he had a good option that didnt cost much but made all the difference in overall look and feel.Hope you check them out! Wishing anyone who reads this the best.

2021-01-19I worked with Vito and they came to my home, helped me pick out carpeting and vinyl flooring for my kitchen and bath. Price beat out both major name flooring company and it included moving the furniture which the other companies charged. Only had 1 thing that didn’t make it perfect was the finishing strips broke and I had to call several times for them to come out and complete the job. There carpet and flooring crew otherwise completed the job quickly and I had my entire home done.

2020-10-15I decided to hire metro carpet from all the positive reviews but what I experienced was nothing close to positive.When we had the initial guy come in and give us a quote, we paid half. He did not provide an invoice/ receipt like he said until I called several times for it. He also said we would have a warranty that was never provided either.The guys that came to install new carpet did not wear masks (I am pregnant and trying to be safe) until we provided them with masks even then they didnt wear them the whole time. They also would not wear booties I was providing for them, it was raining the day they came and I didnt want the new carpet to get dirty or for them to track mud into my house like they did. Now I have to get a professional cleaning done on new carpet!They also would drop the new carpet roll heavily on our ground causing potential damage to our floors.Here are a few pictures of our carpet in the driveway, one of the guys stepping on it with his shoes while on his phone and our belongings just dumped on the floor when we made sure our belongings were neatly secured to be moved easily. We purposely removed majority of our belongings and only kept a few things that wouldn’t be a hassle to move but dumping them on the floor in that way is just unnecessary. Very unprofessional, messy, rude and would not recommend them.

2022-07-28Were very easy to deal with, and the installer did a good job, but wouldnt put a metal strip in between rooms with different flooring.
