This is the greatest party in town. Great bands, food, friends, and anything else you would want in a festival. It is a very well organized event. I cant say enough about how much fun this event is and it just keeps getting better. I am so looking forward to next year already.
Best festival anywhere! Awesome atmosphere, great talent with 7 different event stages and tons of food and drinks. Recommend the Irish Fest Stout!Pros:Super clean bathrooms with running water faucets.Great selection of food.Dozens of artists spread over seven stages.Awesome atmosphere with a view of Muskegon Lake.Tons impromptu artists collaborations.Cons:Not enough Celtic foods.Too many smokers. Smoking should at least be limited to specific areas and certainly not around the food area.
One of the best festivals I have ever been toFor young and old if you like Irish music you have to come see it because musicians come from all over the country and Ireland too to come play awesome music and dancers and gifts to buy too hats sweaters and more all made in IrelandIts in September every year downtown Muskegon Michigan very exciting to see
This event has us coming back year after year to hear great bands like Crossbow, Brothers Crow, The Elders, Tallymore, Shamus Kennedy and many more. They do a great job with crowd interactions and the combination of the sound guys and artist talent pulls your emotions. For those less into music or like supplimental activities, theres also great beer, food and shops to satisfy your needs. The Village Baker had some fabulous scones. There are also sports, children activities and Irish lectures/information booths. All in all it is a great time and well worth it.Crossbow is awesome! Keep bringing them back!

2018-10-02Great time. I look forward to this every year. I spent the summer in Denver, and my return date for coming back to Michigan was making sure I could make it to the Irish Fest.My favorite band that plays there each year is The Moxie Strings. This year, one of my friends played with the band The Barley Saints and it was awesome!

2019-11-02It was an amazing event. The location was beautiful and the food was unhealthy but delicious!!!! I personally loved the fried ravioli and the butterfly chips. The whiskey tasting experience was mediocre with about 6 different types of whiskeys , I dont think the cost was justified. The beers where pretty good as well ....and the Music was just so energetic. The only negative for the entire event was that they use something called as the Barney bucks instead of real money/credit cards. I think it was 1$ for 1 ticket. I highly recommend buying these tickets as soon as you enter cause most of the items can be bought only using these tickets.

2018-06-20We have been going to the festival for years and it just keeps getting better. They have great music, great food and great festival bathrooms. You can drink if you want to, try all sorts of foods all while listening to some of the best music youll ever hear. They also really take care of the kids, lots for them to do. Parking is plentiful (only$5) and there are lots of shuttle cart to take you to and fro. The event is very well organized and caters to the needs of many.

2019-10-16We had a blast!! Absolutely loved our time here! We felt like we had a small piece of Ireland back to be experienced that day. We were a little surprised at the cost to enter and the cost of food for the few options that were offered. But other that we would def return to enjoy the festival again.

2019-09-20Very amazing festival. Lots of great music and good food. The artists are amazing every year: beautiful music, comedy, and foot tapping jigs. The bathrooms are neat, with running water faucets to wash hands, thanks to the sponsors of the festival. The prices are reasonable for a large festival.

2019-06-02Great music, food and Irish stuff. Very very well planned. Several music tents, so you can plan your own show. Restrooms are in their own tents with running water and stocked baby changing tables. The best!!

2018-09-25The Irish Music Festival is an amazing experience. The people, the music, the food, the location, the free shuttles, its all incredibly enjoyable for all ages. Get yourself a kilt and visit any of the wonderful music tents, history tents, or shopping tents. There is no spot you wont enjoy. Even the bathroom facilities are under tents so they have more room and arent blisteringly hot, like at some festival.
