I stumbled upon Michigan Storage Centers after visiting a nearby competitor. I was extremely impressed with the level of service and how well-maintained the property and units were. I am looking to move items that I have stored somewhere else and Michigan Storage is the top contender for placement of my items. I truly appreciate the lengths the property manager, Domoniqe, has taken to answer my questions, provide a competitive rate and follow-up on items that she could not immediately answer. Was able the let them know what I was looking for and they had what I needed. The hours of operation works with my busy schedule. I would recommend them to others for storage needs.

Great storage location in Farmington Hills area. Always super clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. They have a large selection of temperature controlled units available and they make it easy to move with their sliding glass doors and moving carts. I would recommend to others who are looking for storage in the area.

So very happy to have chosen this storage center, its been almost a month Ive been using them but everytime I come here moving things its super clean and well maintained.. My unit door glides up and down with no hassle which is very helpful with my back. Automatic doors, available charts to help with light or heavy items. They also have rental trucks available as well. But the big factor is the great customer service there! Theyre super helpful, knowledgeable, welcoming & friendly. This place should be the first place to go for all your storages needs! We have used Michigan Storage Centers-Farmington Hills, for nearly a year to store a few things while we travel the USA in our Retirement RV. The cleanliness and prices can’t be beat. We can get into the storage any time we want, but the most important thing is the people who own and run this place. It’s a family business and they really care. We wouldn’t store our things anywhere else.
Great storage location! The manager was super friendly and was able to answer any questions I had about storage. They also had a great selection of boxes and locks so I could purchase everything there. I have rented storage before and this property is very well maintained. It was super clean and they had plenty of moving carts to use. Would highly recommend to anyone who needs storage in the Farmington Hills, MI area.
Rented a Uhaul pickup truck, clean trucks, easy check-in & drop off rental process.
Awesome storage location. Would highly recommend to anyone around. They have contact-free rentals which can be done 24/7. As soon as I rented the unit they called me up to go over my storage unit location and gate code. They even offered to put a lock in the unit for me so I did not have to go and buy one. The unit was super easy to access and very clean. Thanks Michigan Storage Centers.
0 Stars! Michigan Storage Center in Farmington shame on you! I called you at the beginning of June asking for a 10x30 climate control unit. You told me people were moving out 6/30. You called the prior tenants to confirm they would be out. You then called me and asked if I still wanted it. I told you YES!. I spoke to you multiple times after and told you I would be in on 7/2 to pay with my move in date of 7/3. But when I got there today YOU RENTED OUT THE UNIT YOU RESERVED FOR ME. The person working the desk told me you rented it because you didnt hear back from me. You KNOW THAT WAS A LIE! Convenient the person I spoke with is on vacation. Thank you for making a move more stressful. I would NEVER recommend your place if business for ANYTHING!Thank you iStorage Self Storage for being a better company then Michigan Storage Center!

Very convenient! I needed a storage unit ASAP. I called there and the lady that answered said she would hold the one I wanted until I got there. As they only had one unit available. She did! Great experience!

I have used Michigan storage center on and off for the last 8 years. I prefer the location in Farmington, Michigan, because staff is always so helpful. They are always very friendly. When I have any questions the staff always follows up with me to make sure they answer my questions. I also like that I get a reminder when my monthly payment is due. Great value - lot of space for the money. Everyone in the office has always been very helpful and friendly. The multi-level entrances help also - I never have to wait for a cart or elevator. Its a very convenient location, with access from several freeways and major surface streets.

I moved from Atlanta GA to Michigan and wanted a safe, clean storage--climate controlled--and great security if I decided to access storage after dark or at 6am. VERY SATISFIED customer. I was curious about entering after the covid, but found the inside well vented (for me). Highly recommended; customer service is responsive and professional.

Customer Service is great and pricing is well within range for nearby facilities. Storage space is clean, very secure, easy to load/unload and they offer a variety of space sizes, climate-controlled storage and inside & outside units. Used promo 1/2 off first 2 months! Very close to home which is an added plus. We are well-pleased!

I have used many storage units in Mich and California and Michigan storage is the best one by far. It took minutes to sign up, the friendly service by Steve helped me pick out my unit and showed me around the property. It is clean, well lighted and has long hours for access to your unit. Moving carts are always available and the huge elevator is great! Since there are so many choices in storage companies, I am really glad that I chose Michigan storage and the free use of a moving truck within the first 30 days sold me from the start! I needed to find a clean climate controlled storage facility that was conveniently located and reasonably priced. Michigan storage filled the bill. The staff was great to work with and I was able to get the unit size that I needed pretty quickly.
Didnt need a unit, but would definitely come here for one in the future. I needed some boxes to help a friend move, and Sienna was very helpful, and made sure to remind me about bubble wrap for delicate items! Absolute best service Ive recieved, even amongst hard times with this pandemic!
This is by far the best storage facility in the area. I have been renting here for close to 4 years and its a good place to store your priced possessions. The management Team is outstanding, the pricing of the units is awesome and most importantly, the location is great - Easy access to the highways and just private enough tried out other storage facilities in the area and their fell short in many areas. Rent here and lets become neighbors :).

I love this place they are very friendly and always will to help. Not to mention that they had the cheapest prices around. I also like that I have 24 hour access to my stuff instead of 9-5 hour which would be very bad for, I also referred my sister and she loves it as well! Its the prices!
Everything worked out great - was able to get the space I needed and the use of a truck was super helpful. Then I needed a second space and was able to get one right around the corner from my original! All easy and stress free!

2022-02-07I went here to rent a Uhal van. First impressions of the store it was clean. Dominique was there and she greeted me in a very friendly way. She was able to help me decide which option was best for me. Dominique also cleaned the snow off of the van and had it warmed up by the time I finished signing for the van. I would definitely recommend this facility for Uhal needs

2021-11-15So far it’s been a getaway experience with Michigan Storage Centers. It was easy to reserve online and then the owner called me personally to make sure I didn’t need anything. When my code didn’t work on a Sunday someone answered the phone immediately and gave me a new code. I was happy with their quick response. Their prices were great too!
