Yogi, Sheri and the Mechanics, Jim and Donnie are great. Anytime I need work done on my car I make a beeline to their shop. I never have any problems after repairs. You can trust them. You cant go wrong with them!

I needed a brake job, they diagnosed and fixed them immediately. Far cheaper and quicker than other shops nearby. Explained and showed me exactly what the issue was and didnt demand that extra work that was not necessary be done.
I’ve been to tons of places for various repairs on my vehicles, but this place was one of the most enjoyable I’ve been to. I came in with two slow leaks in my tires and in 30 minutes I received a call saying my car was ready to pick up! The people were very nice and the job was done right!
The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful and were able to help me out in a quick and professional manner. Yogi was very friendly and handled my issue with great care. I don’t live around here but I will make sure to service my vehicle here with any needs that come up. Hands down, The Westland Midas team are the best! I have had two of my cars serviced there. The first one needed so much work on it to the point it wasn’t worth the money I was paying for the repairs. The Midas team basically provided “Life-support” to this car until I was able to get another one. They are honest, professional, dependable and I feel like I’m a brother not just a customer when I walk in door!
Outstanding customer service!! I called yesterday morning to see if they could help me with my brakes. I have a 2018 Kia Soul. They told me to come in and they would take a look and see what they could do. I waited an hour total, to be diagnosedand repairs done. The machanic talked to me and explained what was wrong and what needed to be replaced. I was quickly given the cost of repair and the work was done right then. I wish I had gotten everyones name because they deserve be mentioned by name, they were so professional and plain old nice. No upselling, no run around. Dont hesitate to call Midas, they will not disappoint. They will have all of my future business for all my cars.

I went in today for my third time with exhaust problems, they fixed it the two times before quickly and professionally, today was not the same experience, the guy behind the counter took my phone number, printed up paperwork to have me sign and date, asked for my keys. That’s when I started asking questions about why he needed the keys since I could come back at a later time and asked how long it would be. That’s when he loudly said, why do I think I can just come in and expect to have my car serviced immediately, I asked a simple question, and could come back in a queuing fashion. But with the way he treated me was foul and uncalled for. I told him twice after he was so rude to me for my keys back. Now I’m out of luck if this is a warranty problem since the noise is coming from the area they already repaired.
The shop manager at your Westland Wayne Rd. location is always the epitome of professionalism, thoughtfulness, and sincerity. In todays world customer service has been reduced dramatically. Started coming here when I moved into the area and would never go anywhere else if I have a choice. Customer service is always super nice, they never do any work that they dont think is needed, they always explain everything theyre doing and why in ways that are understandable, they only ever charge as much as they have to and its pretty reasonable as far as car work is concerned. Work is usually done same day unless its very extensive or they cant get parts. Theyve even offered me rides to and from home when they have time available. Never gotten better car service anywhere else.
Hands down best experience. Just recently moved to moved to Michigan and needed a reliable mechanic and this place exceeded my expectations. My car needed a lot of work Yogi and his team explained everything to me in a way that I understood. Prices are great. The team and environment is fun to be around and they treat you like family plus my car is running like new again. I cant say enough great things about this place!
I had two minor repairs that they didnt charge me for and the prices are fair. Very professional and accommodating, wont charge you for anything you dont need, honest and they always do a very good job.

I went there a week ago. The manager Yogi was extremely professional and helped me choose the proper tires for my vehicle. Ive been to many automotive places throughout the years and always felt pressured. Most places up sell, I truly felt comfortable with his approach. I will continue to give business to this shop, also recommend others to do the same.
Very helpful, kind and trust worthy and Im honestly not just saying that lol they let us know another shop had ripped us off 300 bucks and they looked at it for FREE to diagnose it. I definitely recommend this place to anyone. And theyre not gonna overcharge you either if youre not very knowledgeable in cars- theyre just gonna tell you what you need and not add on just to get more money out of you.
Belle tire could not flush my radiator. Said it was probably a blown head gasket, charged me the full price and sent me out the door. So I went to Midas and Jim flushed it and topped it off correctly. No problems since then. Jim also changed my rack and pinion steering and its perfect now. Just a fine place to get your car fixed right and honestly.
Excellent shops. Friendly service and showed me everything that had an issue. Honest dude. Laid out my options for different prices and gave me his recommendations based on what I needed. Car was done quickly. I’ll be coming back here with any brake issues in the future.
I brought my 2007 Chevy Equinox in knowing I had a lot of work to be done and Manager-Brian and Font Desk Clerk-Yogi were very Professional and had GREAT Customer service skills. Brian was very informative and physically showed me everything that was wrong with my car instead of just trying to sell me on replacements. Yogi was very polite and even drove me to work and picked me up because I did not have a ride. I highly recommend these guys they are the real deal :)
Excellent service!!!!This was my first time visiting Midas and I must say ‘I’m Impressed’.I went in for a regular oil change service and they took me in right on time. My vehicle uses 5.5 quarts of oil and they didn’t charge me the extra 0.5 quart. I got a free multipoint vehicle inspection too.Everything was done within 40 mins and I was all set to go.The pricing is really low as compared to others.The manager Yogi is real friendly and explains everything in detail.Will be visiting again for all future servicing and maintenance.Thank you.

Came in for a tune up and they got me right in. Other shops had quoted me 3-4hours and $50-100 more than Midas, who did the job in 1 hour. My car is running great and I couldnt have had a better experience.
Went in expecting a costly brake service job but after their Technicians looked everything over, they advised I had plenty of pad left and nothing to be concerned about. Best experience I have ever had at a maintenance shop. Super clean, super fast service, super friendly, and HONEST. Plan to be a lifetime customer.

I had an issue with my A/C and took my vehicle to this location. Very friendly and professional staff. Service didnt take long at all and the A/C issue was fixed. Ill be a returning customer for sure. Highly recommended business!!
I came to have my oil changed but decided to also have my brakes and rotors replaced per their inspection. The service was very good but the only thing I missed was the pricing and didn’t realize I was only getting one set of brake pads replaced for the price. The price wasn’t told to me but I also should have asked.

I came to this location due to the reviews on Google. I was happy with the service.They were honest and fair with the prices. They gave me a few suggestions of things I could do and how much they would cost, but absolutely no pressure to do anything when I said no thanks.The person at the cash desk was incredibly friendly and chatted with me for a bit.

They repaired something that was supposed to have been repaired by another mechanic. The other mechanic said it was going to cost $2, 000. But it didnt. So now I will go to them for breaks and muffler

I just went for a quick service for my 2007 Hyundai sonata ,they replaced oil and filter,breaks pads front and rear with in 45 minutes , all staffs are friendly,work quality is very good.total amount for the service is comparatively less from others.i will definitely recommend them to my friends and colleagues.

Awesome visit!! Taking my daughter to pick up her car and I got a surprise wire debris wrapped around the tire. They took my car in and hoisted it up and took the wire off. There was no way it was coming out otherwise. Thank you Midas guys!!

This is the best Midas locations and one of the best shops I have been to if you need minor work done I would not recommend this place because they do charge $100 a hour but if you need something a little more serious than I would definitely recommend this place because it is well worth the money and it is done right the first time and they do not play around they will even give you a deal if there is something that cant fix which is what I like they have even told me before not to fix things that I wanted to get fixed and a lot of shops do not do that they just want the money and also great customer service
Been here twice now, both times was treated kindly & with respect! Not made 2feel dumb or like i had no idea wat was going on like a lot of car places do 2women. (Even tho i DIDNT kno wat was going on lol) They didnt lie 2me about wat the issues with my vehicle were, didnt jus try 2make a bunch of $$ off me bcuz of my lack of knowledge! I am an uber driver and they up the inspection fee from $25 to $30. Then failed me due to a tail light they couldnt fix. He told me we dont do electrical. Then I explained to him about my steering pulling to the right he said he couldnt fix it. They charged me 15$ for a tire rotation which I didnt even receive. My only bent rim was in the smae spot. I called corporate and said this was an incompetent branch.

I once went there and looked at how they did the work. Their work disappointed me. The charge there was pretty expense and the service quality was pretty bad. Recommend not to go to there for regular maintenance or car repair.

2022-04-18Very professional and caring. I was having a problem with my car overheating and they worked diligently to diagnose the problem and repair my vehicle for me. This was a headache when it occurred. I need my car for work and etc. I had already been to another repair shop and paid for services that did not fix my problem. Midas worked in this to get me safely on the road. I really appreciate the service I received and will be recommending them to everyone.

2022-08-16If I could give zero stars, I would. I had my car fixed here in April and I thought they were my saving grace. Turns out, they installed the wrong overflow reservoir in my car and charged me $130 and kept my car for 2 days. I had a coolant leak today and took it to another shop who was able to order the correct part, so the hoses will connect correctly, he explained that it would cost $80 and take 15 minutes to replace it and said hed call me as soon as he gets the part and it will be fixed by tomorrow afternoon. In the meantime, he secured another O ring on the hose so I can get to work tonight. When I went to Midas and asked the guy about the hose and the reservoir, he told me the other mechanic must have broken it when he replaced the turbo last week! The mechanic who fixed the turbo didnt even look at the reservoir or the hose that was leaking (as it wasnt leaking when he fixed the turbo)!! I cant believe the people at Midas cant even take responsibility for putting the wrong part in my car! Instead he wants to play the blame game! What a waste of time and money. Thanks for nothing Midas!!

2022-06-13They tried to get me for $1,200 ! for an alternator replacement!An Alternator cost $330 in the store and they were going to charge me $730 ! I said I could buy my own and she said they do not install customers products. BS !. They are money hungry and evil people . I would not recommend going here for anything . If you don’t know about cars please don’t go here they will give u any price they can pull out their behinds I promise u

2022-03-04Today I went to Midas in Westland. Since I had no appointment there was a few minutes wait. These extremely nice people changed a burned out tail light and aired up my tires. When I went up to get the keys and pay there was no charge! Seriously! Zero, none, nada! No charge! Such a nice place to go for service and I won’t go anywhere else! Thank you!
