The gentleman was very experience and professional about my shoe buying. I liked the fact that the person helping me at Millers shoes would not sell me a single shoe until I went to a foot podiatrist to seek futher advice on how to treat my foot for the best shoe, I was having problems with my feet. I took his advice, came back to Milllers after my podistrist appt and was suited well!
They have hardly any shoes here. I dont even know how this place stays in business. I found one pair that I liked but they did not have them in my size. The sales associate did not even offer to order me a pair in my size. I would have paid up front and waited for them to come in...but they didnt even offer. So I just went on my way....what is wrong with you Jackson?
DISHONEST OWNER sold me two pair of Johnston & Murphy shoes for over $300. I specifically asked if the Daley utilized a Goodyear welt. He said yes. I also asked if the Bradford utilized the Blake stitch. He said yes. I bought both shoes the same day. Then, months later I found out that neither answer he gave me was true. As I look back at the condescending way I was treated during my purchase, it is not surprising that I was deceived by a salesman.

2022-01-26I went in to the store with my wife in early December to get her a Christmas Gift, but they didn’t have the right size available. Wanting to support a local business, we asked if they could order it for us, paid for it and were told us they’d call when it comes in.The store did not contact me for 6 weeks.Not only did they not call to inform me that the item wouldn’t arrive by the expected date, but they didn’t offer even a hint of an apology during any of the times I had to call in to inquire about the order.I had hoped to just speak with the owner about my disappointment of his service, however when I went in to pick up the shoes and speak with him he wouldn’t give me the time of day. No greeting or “just a moment” from him or the other employees when I came in and stood by the counter waiting for several minutes. When he finally spared a few seconds to acknowledge me and get my order info he went to the back to grab it, then came out moments later and began helping another customer without a word to me. Found out a couple minutes later he had passed me off to another employee without bothering to tell me.My experience is that Miller’s Shoes is unfriendly, uncommunicative, and certainly doesn’t care about leaving you with a good experience. A lot of issues can be excused when a business makes up for problems or at least offers an apology. Miller’s Shoes not only poorly delivered their services but also failed to step up when the opportunities arose to make things right.I like supporting local businesses where I can, but Miller’s Shoes gave me compelling reasons to just shop online.

2021-10-20The shoe store is probably the very best store in town for anyone with orthotic problems. They customize everything to you. And if you need to do the special casting for orthotics for your shoes Steve is there and he certified in it and does an excellent job. But they have all kinds of specialty shoes or boots that fit everyones need. I have been going there on and off now for about 50 years! Theyre wonderful to work with they tried to work with whatever shoe problems that you have or foot problems that you have. And try to make the shoe as comfortable for you as possible. For anything custom they are the best place in town!!

2020-02-27Amazing service! The gentleman listened about my feet issues and watched me walk. He picked out an amazing pair of shoes and added pads in a particular part of the insole. I just wore them to work today and they are wonderful! What a life changer! Very professional, polite and knowledgeable. I’m very happy with my purchase.

2021-03-25First time customer and they were very polite when I spoke to them, they said boots would be back in about a week. Took a week and a half, went to pick them up and was completley ignored when I walked in, no hello, no we will be right with you, nothing like that. Ignored for 15 minutes as they helped others and just kept giving me looks. Not friendly anymore and certainly not the friendly experience I got the first time. Dont think I will be going back.

2021-01-23Superior service and selection for hard to find sizes. Good quality shoes and old fashioned courtesy. They follow social distancing and sanitizing guidelines and all employees wore masks.

2016-10-08Amazing store with amazing staff. The personal attention and expertise you get is well worth the visit; the shoe selection is somewhat modest but very well selected and high quality. Unlike my visits to big shoe store, the staff took time to educate me about the pros and cons of various hiking boots and ensure a proper fit. Ive been hiking for over 30 years, and this store sold me the best pair of hiking boots I have ever owned. It is now my destination for all major shoe purchases!

2019-05-08I really wanted to be happy with this shoe store but was unfortunately let down. I went in looking for either new shoes and/or great inserts. After browsing the selection I wasn’t happy with the shoes and decided to settle for just inserts. The staff was not incredibly helpful but picked something out for me that was the best over the counter. After realizing they wouldn’t fit, I had my boyfriend return them for me only to find out that he was treated very rudely by one of the workers while processing the return. The worker accused me of not listening to their suggestion (which there was none and the worker who helped him wasn’t even the same person I dealt with) and hassled him about the return. He didn’t even refund the full amount paid but after going through that he settled for what was given. Had it not been for this employee I would be willing to try again, but after hearing all of this I cannot imagine doing business there. Needless to say I’m very unhappy about the entire situation and plan on not returning to Miller’s again and certainly do not recommend friends, family or strangers to visit either.
