Our familys first mortgage was with MMS Mortgage Services over 25 years ago and then we took a different path because of a family members association with the banking industry. We are happy to say, we have returned to MMS and our refinancing process went smoothly and quickly! We want to thank Christopher and Jamie for all you did to help us to return our mortgage to MMS!!

I am an older adult (over 65 yrs. old) The patience, kindness, and true caring I felt through my refinance process because of Chris Pugh and Jamie Lintz was remarkable. Both of these individuals displayed a sincere attitude of trying to make the process as easy for me as was humanly possible. They were knowledgeable and patient. When I had a question they answered it completely and thoroughly. I recently did a refinance with Chris Pugh at Member Mortgage Service. The service through the whole process was excellent. Chris took my application on my lunch hour and I got a call to set up the appraisal that night. The appraiser was at my home the next day. We closed within three weeks. I encountered one issue when a check issued to pay off my charge did not reach the bank. I called the title company and they immediately let me know they could over night a check to me and I could pay it at a local branch. The charge was paid off the next day. #excellent service
JoAnn was very friendly, informative and on top of her game! We had previously gone through another mortgage company (we ended up firing them) and are glad we did! She took the time to explain things so we could understand them and was quick to respond to questions. She never used COVID as an excuse as so many companies and people are today. My experience with staff (JoAnn Pugh) at MMS Mortgage for refinancing of my house was made very easy and the whole process understandable. I was provided with answers and possible solutions to issues with my particular circumstances and I proceeded forward with the refinance. At the last hour of the process when I was ready to sign the papers, another issue came up and again MMS Mortgage (JoAnn Pugh) was able to work with the title company and find the answers and the problem was solved. Would not recommend this company to anyone. The loan officer we worked with honestly put us through hell. Being a first time home buyer youd think you would be educated on the process and that was not the case.One of the many incidences was when the loan offer notified the seller that we were waiting on the completion of our loan application, when in fact we had finished it 4 days prior.. and all he had to say was My bad. Putting us behind on the whole process.This person also pre approved us for an amount, then a week before close (which was 20 behind schedule anyways) told us we would need a co-signer or 20% down when he well knew my work history before this.We never heard back from any supervisor after leaving a voicemail and went with a new company that was able to do this whole process over with us and we closed in 20 days!!!Word to the wise, dont use this company if you actually want to be able to purchase a home in a timely manner and with a professional company.
I don’t normally give a review. But this is not the first time I had to refi a house. And it was the worst experience I have ever had. I had told my lender that I changed my mind on cash out on loan and he said my interest rate should drop since I was not taking cash out. When I got my loan estimate it showed my interest rate went up. I called left message,emailed and sent a text message. No response! Till I left a not so nice message. He proceeds to tell me my interest went up cause I wasn’t taking cash out!

Worst company to deal with. They were predatory in their approach to refinance my mortgage and put me at a higher interest rate. I agree with the other review, do not trust this company! Awful customer service! I went to pay my mortgage and it was past 5:00pm so the online payment system would not take my payment. They reported it late.Customers looking to finance a mortgage go elsewhere!!!
We had a great experience. Our specialist answered all of our questions and made us aware of all of the options available to us for our refinance. The whole process transpired very quickly.
Nice to still see a company that still works those 9-5 hours. They make it appear you can do stuff on their web page. You cant update anything. Force to call them and wait. Than get told to go back to the web page and fill out other request. Spend some money on a few web page updates. Thought it was the electronic age.
I had a great experience when I got my mortgage here 3 years ago. Closed without any issues. The interest rates were the best and lower closing costs then anywhere else. Great customer services.

2022-01-31Everything that was done to get my house deal done was excellent! I am only giving 4 stars because I have yet to hear from MMS about my payment information. I did set up automatic payment, but I am one of those that likes to pay in advance so payment info, an app, or guided towards a web site would be great.

2022-04-27Really struggling with this place, who is my current mortage lender. They keep sending spam to my email, and each time I ask them to remove me from their mailing list, they reply telling me they already have. If this is attention to detail, these people dont have it.
