Monro Auto Service and Tire Centers in other cities:
Would probably be a great place if you need new tires. But other than that go elsewhere. My car was towed here because of convince and quickest to take a look at the car being from out of town. I was told maybe with an oil change and a new solenoid I would make it home. The car shop I normally go through would stop and give me a call after finding gold in the oil but no follow up call of finding just went ahead and replaced solenoid a $270 job. The car at this point still didnt run almost $400 later. Also replaced filter without go ahead when I had a reusable one.
The manager Brandon is very polite, knowledgeable and honest about prices. He was straight up with me about what services my car needed or didn’t need, and was even able to replace my battery that I didn’t know was going out. The guys in the shop do great work, I will definitely be coming back!
The staff was professional and the work was done well. I did try to use a money off coupon. My coupon was not used for my bill. I supplied the coupon at my arrival. I did not realize this until left shop. I was told come back for a no charge oil change in future. To be perfectly honest I should have have the coupon amount refunded. The error was not mine. This detracts from overall rating.
Very professional and they not only got me in quick but also solved my tire repair in the same day. They had to replace one of my tires, they quoted me one price but when they called to purchase the tire only higher grade tires were available but they still charged me the originally quoted price and took the rest of the payment themselves. Andrew here was very professional and polite. I will come back for other services in the future.
I needed two front tires for my car immediately...a few more commutes and the left front would have exploded off of the rim...Monro not only had many choices for a same-day appointment today, The service manager was outstanding. We found a set of front tires that were well within my budget including installation and my car was brought into the service bay immediately. Unlike many places, the quote given including the tires, taxes, labor and fees was the exact price I paid.Within a half-hour I was asked to come into the service area to take a look at something spotted by the two friendly, efficient techs who were working in tandem to mount my tires. Based on past experience, I feared that I was going to be upsold or pressured into buying additional parts and services just to be able to drive my car home. Under supervision of the manager, I was shown a surprise (and catastrophic) problem they spotted on the underside of my frame; severe rust and rot to the center of my frame-a condition caused by this car being stored outside in a barn for two years before we purchased it just six weeks ago. This terminal problem is something that could only be seen with the car six feet up on a lift so that the entire underside was in clear view for the first time since it was stored away in late 2016.I asked if the extreme deterioration of the metal could be fixed in any way to keep this (otherwise outstanding car) on the road. They were 100% honest and told me no. When I asked them how long it would be safe to drive before the center of the frame would buckle and leave the car good for parts-only. they told me that they could only say comfortably that it could be two months to a year, but their cautious estimate was 2-4 months.Very few shops have the integrity to prioritize customer safety and give fully honest answers. They were compassionate and said that they wish they could provide an answer that would prevent my car from having an imminent expiration date. While knowing that this car probably only last for a few short months is another 2020 kick to the teeth, at least I know now so that I can do what I can to scramble and find a different used car ASAP.I paid for the tires and service and drove home to gather my wits.Monro is an automotive service shop I would recommend to anyone, and once I find *another* ride to replace this dying one, I will be a very happy repeat customer for life. (The life of my future car, to be exact.Somehow they managed to make a terrible day manageable...this, to me, is nothing short of a miracle.So...anyone want to buy my car? It has great new tires, new struts and a great engine. Just kidding....not really. Im serious.P.S.: the new tires ride as smooth as silk.
I needed some new tires, immediately . I had a 400 mile trip back home, as I was away on a work assignment, the next morning. The good : They got me in right away, at a great price for decent tires. Beggars can’t always be choosers, but I’m sure these will be fine enough. The other tire shop up the road didn’t know if I could get in that day, after calling ahead and then saying it would be no problemThe bad : 3/4 of the tires were not installed properly. Had significant leaks from the valve stems - went from 33psi to 16 over the course of 3 daysThe OK : Monroe warranty service / tire package covered the repair at my local affiliate shop.In the end, it did get me home... but with 3 of the valve stems leaking, it makes me wonder about the 4th over a longer period of time. At least, though, I have the warranty to back up any issues.
Today I left my car at the Stadium Drive Monro, certain both my front and back brakes needed replacement. I expected to pay $900 for this and was fine with that. A few hours later I get a call from the manager telling me my brakes are actually fine and dont really need replacing yet. The managers name is Andrew and I was completely blown away by his honesty and helpfulness. He couldve easily ripped me off and I wouldve never known. Im now taking all my auto work to the Stadium Monro. Thank you Andrew for the exceptional service!
Dishonest and underhanded. Will lie to you about prices and time frames to get you in the door and sign for their inspection fee. Then they will tell you they have a ton of people in front of you, and maybe a few more days than you were told on the phone. When I finally did get a call back the price was over $100 more than what they quoted me. It was a simple break job for one of the countrys most common cars. How can they mess that up so badly? Total rip-off!!
What started as a routine oil change turned into a stalled vehicle on the side of the road. When the truck was taken back, it sat without service until 2 days later. We had to call and ask for updates even though they promised to call with updates regularly. We went to get our car seats out of the truck that same night and 2 days later, we were told the tow truck driver smashed the window even though we had seen that the window was intact that same evening. This tells me that they dont mind lying to cover their mistakes and they dont have surveillance to watch over vehicles entrusted to them. When they got the window installed and said the truck was fine, we went and got the truck just to realize its still driving rough. Our truck was running excellently for a 10 year old truck with 100,000+ miles and now its sitting in our driveway until we can get a more trusted person to look at it. Im sure they can do good work, but this just seemed awfully sketchy and sloppy.
Had a great experience with my oil change. Brandon was my tech and he was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions I had and brought up good points I had not thought about. Was much faster than what I thought and was told. He was very nice and professional. Felt like I was talking with a buddy. 10/10 would recommend going through here and dealing with Brandon. Superb tech!
Eric and his team are the best! Theyre honest with what needs to be done (and whether its something urgent or something that could wait), they do amazing work, and their prices are fair. Every time theres been an issue with my car, Eric has taken me into the shop to show me what the problem is and to explain what they recommend doing in a way that I can understand (which is impressive because I know nothing about cars).Long story short, this shop is full of friendly people who care about their customers and their cars. Ill never take my cars anywhere else.
Extremely easy to schedule and was able to get an oil change the next morning. The gentleman on the phone said he would give me the best discount on a full synthetic oil change, and when I arrived they offered an additional discount because my wife is a healthcare worker. Extremely professional, as well as a sanitary environment.
Needed an oil change and they set me up for one the next day. Great customer service! By far the most affordable prices around. Went in and out with no issues. Would highly recommend if you’re a college student as well, they give a student discount which no other place offers. Great experience and will definitely be coming back.
Bottom line, pay the $20 inspection fee, do some research, and negotiate your price. You need to negotiate with these guys. They definitely come in high and they will negotiate but sadly I didnt know that. I recently had some work done at Monroe in Kalamazoo. The price of the parts I found on line were less than $100.00. They charged me $320 total. So $220 for parts markup and labor seems high to me. It took them less than an hour of labor to get the job done. Since they purchase a lot of parts, Id bet they were able to get my parts for $75 or less. They charged me over $200 for the part and $100 to install it. Reasonably I think I over paid by $50 - $75. They do have to make some money. $100 per hour labor rate is reasonable.
Great experience with this shop! Brandon was professional and courteous, and was able to accommodate me late in the day...so glad theyre open until 7 p.m. fortunately, there was no major problem...one of the heat shields had come off. Brandon explained where this shield was located, and the removal of it was not a safety concern. I was back on the road quickly, and was not charged for their time. we will definitely be returning to this location for future auto repair needs! thanks!
I am not fond of letting other work on my vehicles, however while in Kalamazoo (80 miles from hom), having it repaired elsewhere was my only option. Andrew in the office the was helpful in as well as friendly. Overall, my experience was well; no complains. As expected, the end cost for a rear break-line replacement was more than my father and I replacing it/repairing it ourselves. Nevertheless, Andrew was helpful in making me aware of discounts (including a 10% student discount).
I came in a week prior and had a headlight and brake light replaced as well as an oil change. The guy that helped me was named Eric I believe. I was in and out in a decent time with everything I needed.Shortly after I left, my turn signal went out. I called that day, made an appointment and when I showed Up, Brandon helped me out with a student discount and helped me to get it fixed. Really appreciate the service from the two of them! Thank you!!
Changing my review from 5 stars to 1. The work they did previously was 5 stars and I appreciate that work because I know it needed to be done and it was honest. However, I was told I needed a separate $1400 job done, so took it to another shop for a second opinion and they told me it was just the oil filter. I dont appreciate the lack of investigation on the issue when its something as simple as a $4 filter. I no longer trust chain stores and will stay local for future repairs.
Thank you Eric and team for taking good care of us. We made it home safe. I was heading home to Illinois when I got a flat tire about 1/8 mile from the shop. It was Labor Day and I was not sure if they would be open. Luckily they were and surprisingly busy for a holiday. They fixed the tire and go us back on the road. If you are ever in the area and need help with your car I would definitely recommend them. Thanks again
Went to get my snow tires put on, they both installed them backwards and did not properly seat the new tire on the rim so I was constantly getting a low pressure light. When I went in to get it fixed, they looked at it, said there wasnt a problem, and sent me on my way.Another tire place disagreed, pointed out the issues, and fixed them. Avoid this place.EDIT: Came back and lowered my rating because of the joke the owner made in responding below. You installed the tires wrong. At a tire center. Maybe instead of focusing on responding to every review, there should be a focus on basic training reviews for staff.
Great place to get your oil changed, tires rotated, and car serviced. The staff(Todd, Will, and Trey) are friendly and knowledgeable, and will help decipher any issues you’re having with you’re vehicle. I didn’t have an appointment but I was still able to get my oil changed, replace a ball joint, and get two new tires all in one day. I would highly recommend these guys.
Will & Eric at Monro are great! Really everyone there is and they are the only ones I trust to work on my vehicles. They take the time to explain what is wrong and what absolutely needs to be done to keep my car running at top performance. As a woman I need an auto service shop I can trust and this is the place. I’ve been taking my cars here for years for oil changes, regular maintenance, and unexpected repairs.
Everyone who worked here was really helpful and knowledgeable of their work. They went above and beyond by offering me a discounted price on the work that I needed for my car after I wasn’t too pleased with the overall price. Getting work done on cars is always pricey, but I’m confident that Monro will give great and accurate service for a reasonable price!
They did a great job of changing my oil and filter in timely fashion. The only reasonI gave them four stars instead of five is that I knew I wanted a conventional oilchange but felt pressured into getting the more expensive synthetic one. Outsideof that everything went well and I believe the job was done right.
If you want your car done right to monroe on stadium they will take good care of you!! When I came in i was met by Trey and Eric the manager and they were very friendly and made me feel comfortable about asking questions about my car. I needed them to inspect my brakes and they did just that. The techs Will and Anthony even took me in the back and showed me what they looked at how it should look and even demonstrated to me how the brake system works. Most places will tell you whats wrong but they took me showed and explained it to me.They got me right in and and out and I was well pleased with what they did to my car. Last but not lease I felt like a person there not just a customer they were servicing for cash. They were very honest and didnt offer anything other then what I needed. This is huge because some shops take advantage of women.....NOT MONROE...they will only offer what you need and tell you otherwise if you dont need it. Great place. Thanks Trey Eric Will and Anthony for such A+++ service!!! Ill recommend these guys over anyone!!! Thanks fellas
New to the area and already found a shop we can trust. These guys walked me through all of my options, were transparent, helpful, and supportive. They are really good about putting themselves in my shoes and helped make the right decision. The manager and Will were both really fun guys to work with--good culture. Ill be back!
The boss eric is a very interesting, very honest man. I had a problem with the brakes. He offered me a very affordable price. After the repair, his actual charge was another $100 cheaper than calculated. This is a very honest repair shop and very worthy of your visit.
Mike and his coworker were super helpful! We were traveling back home and it was Sunday afternoon. We were on the expressway and our vehicle stopped accelerating. We had to get a tow, but not being from the area, we had no idea where to take it. After about the 5th phone call of being told no one could help or they were all too busy, Mike pleasantly answered and I explained the situation. His kindness and genuine care, was such a relief! I knew he was busy but he still said that he would make time to look at our vehicle and that we could tow it to him. I highly recommend coming here. They are very knowledgeable and did a thorough inspection to figure out the issue! Thank you, Mike and staff, for your speedy genuine service! It was much appreciated!
Many thanks to Eric, Will and the rest of the team at Monro. I’m no car-guy, so it’s important to have people I can trust and they’ve earned that through prompt, comprehensive work, honesty and strong customer service. Even when things didn’t go as planned (hey, it happens), they went out of their way to make things right and truly care of about completing their work to high standards and having me safely back on the road. Thanks, guys; great work!
Had my car towed in and the shop ordered the part. Was told it would take 2 days to get the part in. 6 days and several phone calls later, was still getting told they didnt have the part in and nobody knew where it was or what the holdup was or even how much longer it would be. I called another shop across the street and they had the part the next day. Needless to say the business went to the other shop and I will never use nor recommend Monro to anyone.
Called and asked about potential new set of tires, spoke to Andrew on the phone, very helpful with helping me find a set that wasn’t too expensive, will return in the future if other car problems come up. I appreciated Andrew working with me, knowing I’m a broke college student, and giving me a reasonable price. 10/10 will return.
My experience with Monro was terrible. From the very unprofessional staff who run the front desk to the mechanics who ordered the wrong pieces for my Vehicle. After having my car for over 3 hours they called me and told me “oops looks like you need electrical struts instead of gas. We can fix it, but not today. We need to order the other pieces and it will be $400 more than what we originally quoted you” no apology for their mistake or the inconvenience.Upon taking it to a new shop, I learned- there is no such thing as electrical struts and ended up paying a small fraction of the $1300+ they tried to charge me.I will not return to monro nor would I recommend this location to anyone.A mechanic true to his craft respects and understands your vehicle as your means of transportation. They educate their customers, they don’t try to prey on your ignorance.
Good friendly service and short wait time. Prices are fair. Would recommend. However, I did have a tire replaced and same side rotation done and after replacement I heard a noise coming from the area of the replaced tire. I mentioned the noise to the clerk and was told it would be a 20 dollar inspection to check out the noise. To clarify, the noise wasnt heard before tire replacement. Other than that, I will continue to get my car serviced here.
I made an appointment for the afternoon at Monro-Stadium Drive and they were able to pull my vehicle in the bay right away. They inspected my muffler and my exhaust system & found that there was a large hole. Will, the manager was able to order the parts and have the technician, Alex get started on my vehicle right away. The customer service, pricing, and overall experience at Monro - Stadium Drive was wonderful.
They’ll give you the best prices you can get around here that’s for sure. I’m from the Chicagoland area so I’m used to pretty competitive prices, but sometimes you’ll find them cutting corner. Not here though they did it quick and most importantly right they told me everything that was up with my car. Just and overall good experience. Did I mention I went in on a Sunday, and Trey the guy at the front desk was happy to help answer any questions I had. He even took me back to Will who showed me the problem and explained it to me. I recommend this place highly and especially if you are a college student looking for good prices like me.
We had a really good experience with Monro on Stadium drive today. They got me in and fixed the brakes before they closed. Such wonderful people, especially Kelly. She knows her stuff when it comes to auto mechanics. Thank you for being a great representative Kelly & for taking such good care of your customers!!
Monro killed it today! I came in right after I sprung a water leak on my passenger side under the glove compartment. They gave me the diagnosis within 5 minutes (AC backup, thank god) and had it fixed within 15. Erik was friendly and direct with me, the crew was efficient. Definitely highly recommend this place!
Will, Brandon, and the rest of the team really helped me out. The heat shield on my car was falling off and these guys quickly got me in with short noticed and got it removed incredibly quickly. Expert service and I’ll definitely be returning when the rest of my car breaks down.
Generallu great work with appropriate prices. Excellent deals on oil changes with tire rotation. Friendly staff and can often get an oil change done any day. Only once was pricing for belt repair excessive, but brakes, wheel bearings and other repairs are competitive. I go here for any check up or oil change and it is a starting point for major repair and maintenance.
We had our sons car towed to the Monro Auto Service Center on Stadium Drive in Kalamazoo this afternoon and I cant tell you how thankful we are to have chosen this gem of a business. If you are looking for an honest, friendly business with whom you can trust, look no further. We just received a call stating that they had performed our repair at no charge, that the issue had just been the muffler shield. What a wonderful surprise! You just dont find that degree of kindness very often and you can bet well use Munro in the future. You have made our day, as well as making a lifelong customer. Thank you so very, very much.
Not impressed at all, went to a different location because customer service is lacking at this location for an old black man. Manager on duty was speaking very strongly to a female customer and was oblivious to me walking in. Everyone else ignored me did not even acknowledge I was in the room. Cute little white college girl in yoga pants walked in and they greeted her right away. i took the message I was not wanted there and I left and called another location and got an appointment for a hour later. Absolutely will not go back and will not recommend this location.
Bob was very friendly and professional. However, he charged me $364 for a muffler, not a whole exhaust system, a muffler. I checked Rock Auto, $89 for the same muffler. I felt lucky to get out with my skin still on. The car was spun out in bad weather and had a bent rim, and the beads broken on the back tires. And the muffler was folded up underneath. It could not be driven far, so I couldnt take it somewhere else.Would not recommend.
Called to try and get a quote online for a cat and muffler replacement. They told me that they wouldnt do that over the phone. I told them I would not be able to do business with them without a phone estimate, and tried to explain that the reason why was it wasnt safe to drive for more than one trip due to lack of power. Person on the other end proceeded to cut me off, said sounds good, and hung up on me. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have had in a long time, and I wouldnt go to them if they paid me a million dollars. DONT hang up on a customer who is being cordial, it can ruin your business!
We just had a really great experience at Monro, Brandon H took the time to help us with a small problem on our grandmothers and was able to get us going in about 5 minutes. It was so nice to be helped by a stranger, and I will be doing business here from now on. Big thanks to Monro!
I drove over a big metal peice and didn’t know weather or not something was damaged. So I went to Monro auto service for a quick diagnostic they had my car up in less then 10 minutes. Every thing checked out and I was in and out the door before I knew it. Thanks for the great service.
I brought my car in to have a few things looked at, knowing that there was a charge for them just to look at it. After they spent time on my car, they couldnt find any issue with the wheels and they didnt have the computer to analyze the engine issues. So basically there was nothing that they could do. So, they didnt charge me anything. Very honorable.
While traveling out of town we had to stop at Munroe muffler for a car emergency! We met one gentleman, Eric Pilch, and he was fantastic! It was already stressful to be stopping at a repair shop during our vacation but he was able to fix the problem… And get us on the road again for less $$ than we expected! They were honest and didn’t try to take Advantage of our situation. Thanks Eric!
Had a 10 am appointment and didnt even look at the car until 1:30 pm and thats because I called them and asked about my car. I asked for prices multiple times and they gave me nothing. Called me back and some time after 1:30 and quoted me $90 more then multiple local places to install a cat back exhaust which takes less then a hour and is not hard to do, I just dont have a lift at my house. These guys arent very friendly and seemed not very knowledgeable, wasted my whole Saturday. Take your car somewhere else. Youll thank me you did.
Went in there for a Emergency repair to my car on a recommendation by someone else who said they did good service. I walked in early afternoon and saw Eric who was at counter Said I dont care what you need Im not going to get your car in today. And was totally disrespectful and degrading. I walked out! I certainly with a person with that attitude I would never walk back in ,recomend or know how they do business cause no one was waiting and the shop had open bays. I suggest No one ever step foot into Monro auto repair Kalamazoo!
Very professional and communicative. Did a lot more than I wanted to do. Spent a LOT more than I wanted to spend. But they did a great job of showing me and explaining to me all the whys. I know it was the right thing to do, and my 2009 drives like a brand new truck again.
My daughter took our car there when it wouldnt start. After it was looked at, I was told it would cost $1040.00 for a battery, serpentine belt, and an alternator and labor. I then called another place to get the cost on the same repair, that estimate came in at $661.00. I had it towed to the other place, but not before they charged me $55.00 for the inspection at Monro. When the other shop did their inspection they let me know I didnt need the alternator. Not pleased is an understatement.
The employees I dealt with were friendly but I cant understand how they came up with the estimate that they did and neither can anyone else that Ive talked to about this. I took my business else where and was able to get the same work completed for half of what I was quoted. Just call around to make sure youre being quoted fairly.
My husband and I have a very large family with cars for both of us and all of our children. Andrew and Will at Monro Auto on Stadium Drive take such great care of us and our cars, just like were family. It gets fixed right and for the right price! I just wont go anywhere else.
****Overcharged, Unnecessary work, Missing personal property****I took my car to this shop based on Google reviews and wish someone had taken the time to provide the information I am going to share.I knew going in that I needed new brakes. I had been getting notices from other service providers that it was coming due. I also had a mystery tinny rattling sound coming from the passenger rear side when I would go over a bump. I dropped my car off on a Wednesday evening and left the keys with the understanding that they would not be able to get to it until the following morning. I got a call the following day with a recommendation for new rotors and pads all around (~$1,050). And for new shocks and struts all around ($2600) to correct the suspension noise I was hearing. I objected to the pricing which seemed high and they came down a little but not enough so, I made the choice to pick up my car and take it to another shop for a second opinion. The second shop completed their assessment and called me for a debriefing. As with Monro, I was advised I would need new rotors and pads all around (~$580) and that the rattling sound I was hearing was from a backer plate on the brakes that was likely cracked after some ice was wedged up into it during a recent snow storm. They said it could be fixed for no charge with a few strategic spot welds. This is not a “proper repair” in the strictest sense of the word but it fixed the issue I was presented with which was the knocking/rattle noise. There was no immediate problem with the other suspension components that Monro advised needed to be replaced. If the suspension work would have been needed, it would have only been about $1300 for the second shop to complete the work. Monro wanted to charge me double for both jobs – and one of those services was not even required! And now, if that’s not bad enough, after I picked up my car, I discovered that some personal property worth about $250 was missing. The item was a small, cigar lighter. I called back to the shop and – with no accusation – simply explained what was missing, told them it had sentimental value, and offered a reward for its return. Turns out, one of the employees had my lighter. He said he had “found it on the shop floor” and when he showed it to his boss, he was told if nobody claimed it, he could have it. It’s a solid brass lighter that weighs maybe 4 – 5 ounces, and is kept in a closed center console tray. I don’t know how it got out of my car, but it seems highly improbable that it just accidently fell out. It’s suspicious too, that it took less than the 48 hours between when I picked up my car, and when I called to ask about the missing property, for it to be considered “unclaimed”. It had already been taken home by one of the employees. How interested were they in finding the rightful owner of this “lost” property? We all have bad days. Any one of these events, in its own right, might have been considered a fluke. But all of this happening at the same time just really stinks. I get the distinct sense that there is a culture of deception/dishonesty in this shop. Even the Google reviews feel somewhat like they are stacked. One reviewer even mentioned that they got a 15% discount in return for a favorable review. Make your own conclusion.
I had blew a tire and messed my hubcap up pretty badly.. I was panicking and crying. Ended up here thankfully and Brian was able to help my boyfriend and I out by having a mechanic put the spare on for us. I was sooooo thankful to have found this place, all of the guys were incredibly helpful and Ill be going here anytime I need some help.
I was in Kalamazoo for my daughter’s college orientation. I heard a ton can rattle sound coming from my car. When I called Monro, they told me to come right in. I went right there. They took my car back right away and within 5 minutes they had a diagnosis. It was a rusted heat shield. They removed it at no charge. I am able to drive the 2.5 hours home thanks to Will and Anthony!!
I went to in to Monro to have an alignment done on my truck. I when in and gave then my keys and I waited. I finally heard my truck start and then I see the tech race around the corner and hit ever hole in the parking lot he could find. He ran it up on the machine and came back in an hour later. I asked him how it looked and if it went wel and he hadnt even started. Then he came back and said I needed new ball joints and tie rods which were replaced recently. He said he would not be able to fix it so I asked him to bring it back. He started to come back and without telling me, he left and drove away. I was confused and mad. He came back after a few minutes and told me I needed an alignment. I already knew it so I asked for my keys and left without any explanation and I missed a few hours of work.
Many thanks to the Sunday crew at Monro--both locations, Gull Rd./Riverside Dr. and Stadium Blvd. Picture this: a young family with a 6 month old is experiencing severe, frequent car trouble on the way home to Chicago. Finding the Monro location in Kalamazoo (Gull Rd.) open on a Sunday--that Gull Rd. worked quickly to make sure the family could be helped at Stadium Blvd. At Stadium Blvd., the family received a clear concise analysis of the problem, an accurate quote, no run around, no extra service pitches, and ongoing future maintenance advice--despite the fact they are not often in the Kalamazoo area. The Sunday crew, particularly Will and Eric were incredible.
We called and asked if they were open on New Years Day, the man said yes we are. So we set up appt. to have our brakes repaired. Our appt was for 8am, we are sitting here and it is 810am, and we have been here since 750am, and no one is here. Look if you are not going to be open then tell the truth, you are closed on New Years Day. Dont schedule appts and not be there. Dont lie and say you are going to be open. We drove over an hour to get here.

2022-05-23Felt like I was on a hidden cam show. Walked in for oil change, tire rotation, and exhaust heat plate fix. Told it would be an hour. An hour later car was still not in. Not the end of the world. I am patient. At an hour fifteen, the car goes in. Mechanic puts car on lift and does not account for running boards (Toyota 4Runner). Destroys running boards. Then it was time for oil change. Oil was drained then they realize they have no oil filters that fit vehicle. Wait another 30 minutes for some auto part store to drop off an oil filter. Work was finished just over the three hour mark. Quote to replace running boards using their recommended company and insurance is $650. Was just quoted today but have yet to receive a call back from Monros insurance.

2022-05-21These guys are amazing! I was helped so fast, they didn’t charge an arm and a leg, I had my daughter and dog with me who were both welcomed with open arms to wait inside. The mechanics were so friendly, and understanding. I couldn’t have asked for better service!

2022-06-21Had an appointment to get my car checked out. Get all the way there just to be told, they have no one to do it. Ok I understand if you guys are short staffed but no one thought to call and cancel the appointment. That is just common courtesy. Ive frequent this place so many times in the past and never had any problems. After so many years, the one time I need car service and this happens. I wouldnt be upset if the guy didnt have a whatever attitude about it. He was rude, not good customer service but Im gonna take it as a good sign. This was not the place to pay my hard earned money to.

2022-04-25There needs to be better bed-side manner. When I ask a question, I’m asking to learn. Being met with rudeness is not going to make the conversation go well. But! I must say, after explaining that I was looking to learn, the man on the phone changed his attitude and was a lot nicer in answering my questions.

2021-12-06The man who owns the branch is super nice. He ran out of one type of oil, gave me better oil and then charged me for the oil I ordered, which was $40.00 cheaper. He didn’t have too, but that was a super good business practice and I appreciated his honesty. Plus, he and his coworker were able to give me advice on three different scrap/salvage yards. Very knowledgeable.

2022-01-31I had my BMW repaired and was told that the control arm was bent and had to be replaced and i started hearing noise from the front end after i received the car and after i took em back to tell them they could n’t help me. So i had to schedule it with flying dog and received an estimate repairs that the regulated rod is damaged and the wheel bearing is starting to make noise. So i think i received an incorrect repair diagnostics from you guys. I am not complaining or anything. Its just that i have been charged for an incomplete repair or incorrect repairs. It does nt seem fair. If they could n’t give a proper diagnostics should have told me before going on with the repair not after when they said take it to BMW.

2022-03-15I couldnt see a way to add another review. If you are shopping for car service, look no further. MONRO ON STADIUM just might be my favorite car repair place in Kzoo.Lets just say I had a real rough time at the store on Sprinkle, and the crew at Stadium made it right. Plus, they are quick and friendly and play the best music in their stalls 😉Amazing manager, great staff, super honest and straightforward. Theyre always polite, super fast and professional. One of the few places in town that wont take advantage of you. I appreciate their honesty and service. They do not try to sell you unnecessary services or repairs! Theres nowhere else in town that compares.
