Comment: Im all about customer service. Im older and grew up in the generation where salespeople helped customers. So, when I went into the store someone greeted me and I was able to get help right away to have my vacuum repaired. Even the young man, when I took my first vacuum in for repair, seemed to know what he was doing. I was impressed with how thorough they were to fix my vacuum and therefore took my 2nd vacuum there for repair. They went through so many points and repaced things and and I felt it was really taken care of.

I bought an entry level sewing/embroidery machine a month ago and attended several classes to learn to use it and I was instantly creating projects! This is surprising since Id never used a sewing machine before. At a class this week, I met another lady who got a REALLY great deal on a refurbished high end sewing/embroidery machine and after sleeping on it, decided to go back the next day to see if they could find another deal like that for me.Well, George happened to be there and he and Karen found me a near-new machine with less than 10k stitches on it!!! Needless to say, I came home with a MAJOR upgrade at a GREAT price. These folks really know their machines and supplies, and make themselves available to help their clients and answer every question one could have...and as a super-newbie, I have an overwhelming amount. :) I look forward to spending many more happy hours there learning to use my new power tool with thread and mastering my new hobby. I live in New Jersey & my local sewing shop was being extremely difficult & wouldnt price match to even the manufacturers website; so I did some research & came across Moores on Facebook. I knew exactly what make / model I wanted in a sewing machine - I called that afternoon & placed my order with a super helpful gentlemen named, Manny. So polite, so helpful & my order was literally shipped out the following day! I rcvd what I saw as a great deal in the end, with free shipping & a bunch of extras since it was their Anniversary sale as well!!! I ordered a few more accessories from them since & everyone Ive dealt with to date has been helpful, polite & super informative! My local sewing shop put me on a wait list for 5+ weeks & this was only a guesstimate on the timeline - they also jacked the prices 2 x as much as the MANUFACTURERS website showed! I always try to shop local, but this wasnt acceptable business. Highly recommend! Keep up the great work!!

Comment: I went in to buy a serger but had never used one and didn’t know much about them. The salesperson was very helpful and took time to explain all the ways a serger can be used. I was able to try one and she explained that my life would be so much easier if I went with one that had Air Jet Threading. I was not expecting to spend the extra money for that but my husband encouraged me to so I did. I have to be honest and say that I almost started hyperventilating with how much I was spending. I paid about $120 for my brother sewing machine about 17 years ago at Walmart and it’s still going strong. I will say that it sat in the box in my garage for about 10 years but have only consistently used it for the past 2 years. The salesperson was extremely patient with me and reassured me I was making the right decision without being pushy and salesy. I was so nervous and indecisive but finally decided to give her my credit card. Yes, I was that bad. LOL. I’ve had my Babylock Celebrate for almost 2 months now and I have to say I am so happy that I bought it. I love the Jet Air threading! It has made my life so much easier. I’ve been able to make myself several knit tops (I’m still working on perfecting my neck bands) and have been able to make tons of linen hand and kitchen towels. I love serging things before hemming. I no longer have to iron my hems before hand. That in itself is worth what I paid. There was a spring promotion during the time I purchased my machine and the sales lady forgot to include the fancy thread and 6 months of free Babylock classes. I don’t blame her at all for forgetting. I’m sure my hesitation to buy probably distracted her and she forgot. I called Moore’s and they were great about getting me what was included in the Spring Promotion. I say that’s great customer service and along with a very helpful salesperson, I’m happy I went to Moore’s.

Good pricing when you consider long term investment + expenses associated with machine upkeep.I went in to get some help with a very old serger I bought off the classifieds. Couldnt figure out if maybe I was doing things wrong or if the machine was a dud. For the price I was willing to take a risk though. Sat with me for 2 hours to help out, ended up realizing it needed some long overdue service on some slight timing issues. She did share with me some good tips along the way! While I was not really willing to sink money into a machine of that caliber by servicing it, Rhonda was very helpful in helping me look at what they had available and what she could do for me in terms of pricing so I could plan a future acquisition. They didnt even charge me for the time they spent on my machine! Extremely generous of them.I am probably a ways away from purchasing my own serger for now (full-time student here), I would definitely come in again to get service on my current machines in the meantime and pick up attachments for my machines when I need them. Hopefully soon Ill be in a position to feel comfortable with such a big investment on my passive hobbies like a serger, and will keep this place on my shortlist when I am actively in the market for one. My understanding is they will offer price matching from authorized dealers. The protection service you can add on and package deals will make me consider buying from them in the future (something you cant always get buying from a place like Amazon).Both Manny and Rhonda helped me on this occasion!
