Comment: ReviewHad the worst experience here and would never recommend anyone to use their bodyshop service. Unfortunately, I didnt have much of a chocie due to my insurance only allowing me to use certain providers and I chose this one because it’s a big company comparison to the rest. Communication was very poor and my service person didn’t call me for updates. I had to frequently reach out to them. Ultimately I ended up having to deal with the manager who was nice but doesn’t takeaway from the fact that my car had to go back multiple times after I would pick it up because I had scratches on the paint, parts were falling off the car or the car hadn’t been fully fixed (broken part on back tire/axle). Supposedly they fixed my alignment and to no surprise about 3 months after my last pickup, my back tires were completely bald because the alignment wasn’t completed as I was told or they never fixed it correctly. This is about six months of having to go back-and-forth with this body shop. And don’t try to get a hold of a General manager to help you out because it’s not gonna happen and if they do call you, they don’t really care.

Comment: Very bad customer services, the managers are incompetent to solve the customer’s needs. They couldn’t fix my car and wanted to charge me over something I shouldn’t have to pay for. They would give “updates” and false “your car is ready” messages and calls. My car sat with them almost 3 months and they couldn’t or didn’t get anything accomplished. They are not a good crew representing the CHRYSLER, DODGE, JEEP and RAM.

Comment: Scheduled the very first appointment of the day, 7am for an oil change and tire rotation. Got my car back till 11:30am with an oil change but no tire rotation. Got a sweet deal 3 oil changes with tire rotations but all 3 times I’ve gone, I only got an oil change with no tire rotation, I marked my tires to see if that service was done but it wasn’t. Better off going somewhere else.

Comment: Only 3 stars because it might not be their fault. I’ve been waiting for over 3 months for my repairs. My husband has cancer and I’ve been without a car. Had to jump into an unregistered old truck my son has had sitting in driveway. Not by choice. My husband has been in and out of hospital visits for months at a time. I guess some of us are proud to buy American. But i was told not all the parts are manufactured or built in America. It has taken over 8 weeks to get my car repaired. No news yet and i keep calling several Times a week to see what the status is on my brand new 2024 Chevy trail blazer. It’s been two weeks the last two parts coming from Michigan and no news yet. How can this be taking so long!! Idk what to do and our insurance only coverso a one month rental. Neither one of us is working. Chemo is every two weeks. The transmission in the truck I’m using gets stuck in 3rd gear and skips traveling from Riverside to Cedars Sinai in Los Angeles. Cmon now!! This is way too long. I’m really dissatisfied with this whole process. Don’t know if I’d ever use this body shop. Only thing I’m hoping on is these parts don’t mess up a brand new car

Comment: If I could give them no stars I would! This place is a rip off, you take your car in for service and they overcharge you. The couple times I’ve gone in for emergencies, they have tried to get an extra bit of money off of me. (Maybe it’s because they think us girls don’t know much about cars and don’t have men In our lives 🤷‍♀️) For example, They said that my car needed an alignment when I know for a fact that it didn’t because I just had an alignment done days before taking it in. This happened once with my truck and once with my husband’s. They are also a bunch of crooks... This time around, I am going to report them to the Better Business Bureau, the reason being is because I went in for my airbag light being on and they charged me $820 for a sensor… then they claimed that they fixed the sensor but my airbag light wasn’t going away because the sensor wasn’t working and it hadn’t informed me that it was actually my clock spring that needed to be changed as well. They concluded with trying to charge me $2,000 for both the clock spring and the airbag sensor. So I kindly declined and told them I would have my brother (whose normally my mechanic) do it. Before going in to pick up my truck, my brother mentioned that he was troubled by the fact that they wanted to charge so much for the clock spring… so he did some digging (he owns a business where he can access vehicle information and was able to see that the clock spring on my vehicle was under extended warranty) When I picked up my truck the light on my dash was still on, they said it was because of the clock-spring situation… sounded valid…. Well when I spoke with the representatives at this location about the whole clock spring extended warranty they check on their computer and told me that it actually wasn’t under any warranty, and that I needed to pay full price. Fast forward to today when I took it to another jeep dealer and they confirmed and told me that my clock spring WAS under extended warranty and that all of the codes that came up were approved by the manufacturer to get the clock spring done for free.I am beyond upset at how San Bernardino’s dealership lied to me and allowed me to drive off with the part not fixed and my airbags not on. Risking my life. They even had the audacity of making me sign a paper saying that it was dangerous for me to not get the part fixed by them, that if I pulled my truck out of their service… since the airbags weren’t on and if God forbid something happened to me they weren’t responsible.Long story short, I do not recommend anyone going to their service department at all! 1. They are liars, 2. they always try to over charge and add extra charges. 3. They never answer those phones, once your in for service in order to get in touch you literally have to walk in and when they inconvenience you by having your vehicle it’s a headache to get a ride there.

I stopped to check and the Reservoir was almost empty.So I called service and I was told I must have a leak in the brake line.. 🤔 Yet there is no leakage around, Under or on the ground of the Solenoid.I wonder now did they even do the work. I tried to do business with this location but I dont think its in them to be honest.Ill never come back to this location.

My most recent experience has been horrible with broken promises from finance manger Moe and salesperson Daniel with not following up on text messages for me to come down to do a finance application… I personally ask Moe to send me a app via email to expedite for when I come down, he reassured he would send next business day/ morning well 3 days later still nothing, I’ve called to speak to him and some reason he’s never available or he has his salesman take messages and no call back. Honestly not a way to treat a returning customer that has did business with this dealership going on two decades.

To top it off!! very untrustworthy, had items stolen from my work truck and when I picked up vehicle, I had to put back myself the chair head rest that were taken off by them! I then drive 35 minutes there then get told it has been sold for a couple of days. It seemed like they just wanted me to go see their other cars but just wasted my time. Thats not even fixing the problem with my vehicle thats how far behind they are. The one I drove all the way from the high desert to moss brothers it was a wasted trip i didnt have a second vehicle. This is not the first time I have to deal with moss brothers in an inconvenience way. When I bought my vehicle and got my first oil change with them. The oil change took 5 hours. Needless to say Ill just be paying at a pocket for anything I need to fix on my vehicle that my warranty covers because I cant guarantee that I will get my vehicle back in a timely matter. And then the next day they have the call and tell me I missed my appointment no I left because you inconvenienced me.

I drove an hour and a half through traffic to get there. The first car they showed me had water stains on the back seat and door. The salesman said they must have let the window open in the rain but that they had a detail man who could clean it up.The second car had a dead battery. They tried to jump it but the battery was bad and they said they had to replace it. This was a new car. What new car needs to have the battery replaced before it is even sold?I finally got to drive the model trim I wanted and liked the car. I had a True Car offer from the dealership which has the price I was supposed to pay. Once I sat down with the salesman and showed him the document he said they would not honor it. He said they were no longer a True Car dealer. They had a meeting the day before and almost all the salesman had been told. Rudy had not been in the meeting.I was just going to leave but first the assistant GM and then the new GM talked to me. The salesman had told me the GM had quit three days before Christmas. First the assistant GM said he wanted to give me a bear hug. Why I don’t know.The new GM wanted to talk to me to find out why I was leaving without buying a car. I told him I drove for an hour and a half because of the True Car offer. Instead of apologizing for not letting Rudy know they were no longer a True Car dealer anymore he said “We’re not responsible for Southern California traffic.” What could I say to that? I couldn’t get out of there fast enough.

Comment: The only way my experience could be worse is if they lost or wrecked my truck, but maybe that would have been better. Sitting here in the collision center lobby right now. Vanessa called me around 11am and asked what time I could come in. I responded 2 or 3 hours. She said perfect. I walked in at 1pm and they think she just left for lunch and might not be back until 2pm. Moss Bros had my work truck for 5 months. 1 month in service department rebuilding my transmission and a couple other things covered under the warranty. (40k mile truck). Then moved to collision center to replace a door that was damaged when someone broke into my truck and some additional dings that I wanted fixed while in the shop. 4 months later, they decided to close their riverside collision center and moved my truck to San Bernardino. A week later I get a call that it’s ready. I scheduled an appointment with Vanessa to pick up. After I got in, and waited about 1/2 hour, she started putting together the paperwork. Another 1/2 hour later I was able to pay and get my keys. I got on the freeway and the check engine light came after a few minutes, so I took it straight back to Moss Bro riverside. They were unwilling to look at it on the spot even though they had my truck for 5 months. The next day I picked it up again and that afternoon I found out that my automatic door opener was not working. I took it back to get it fixed. They got it fixed in a couple hours and I picked it up again. The following weekend, I took a road trip for Labor Day to Arizona. While driving through the rain, the door appeared to be leaking on my passenger. The door they replaced. When we got to AZ, I went to passenger side to take a look and noticed a missing screw or the window trim. Unrelated to the leak, but close by. I also noticed that my door panel was not repaired. For some reason dodge uses plastic screws to hold the door panel and it broke a couple years ago. It was in my repair list when I dropped off the truck 5 months ago, but I guess they didn’t have time to get to it. When I went to get gas, I also noticed that the plastic piece that hold the gas cap to the door wasnt attached. Anywhere I attach it, it just falls off. Hopefully they’ll fix it now. I’m also eager to see if they can figure out where that extra screw goes. I found a screw in the back seat. Came out of something but I guess they thought it’s not important enough to put back. Funny side story, during the 4 month repair process, the “dealership” ordered the wrong color door and the wrong tail light, delaying the repairs. I would have thought dealer would know their own cars. But what do I know.Update. One month later. Sitting here again to pick up my truck. I called on Monday to check the status and found out that Vanessa no longer works here and no one apparently knew that my truck was still here. I’m hoping they fixed the leaky door. Funny story, they replaced the door and then it leaked water and then they wanted to put another claim on my insurance for the leaky door. A problem they created. Hahaha. These kids. Door panel is still broken. It was on my initial request to fix 7 months ago. Asked again a month ago when I dropped it off for the leaky door. Everyone just passing the buck. No one knows what’s going on.

Comment: We purchased a 2020 Pacifica Hybrid from Moss SB a few months ago. We had a newer truck we traded in. They said theyd give us $19K for it. After looking at paperwork later and all erroneous fees, it seems we got $4K. My fault that I didnt look through it, when there. When we saw the ad for the vehicle it showed everything was included. Before leaving the lot we noticed the charger wasnt there. Salesman says it didnt come with it. We complained so he took one from a new car and gave it to us. Then we get home and realize the earphones werent there, as promised on ad. I called the Manager, Julian and he ordered them and said for your inconvenience I gave you 2 more free oil changes. We take the registration into DMV to change to get our new plates, as Moss instructed. DMV says this vehicle is registered in AZ. They missed several steps. You need to call Moss to get this resolved. After 2 months we finally got the plates. We make appt for our 1st oil change. I received hourly reminders up to the day of oil change. We take it in for oil change and meet Benny in Service. I asked if he could fix our account to not get all these notifications. He says, its a glitch we cant fix it. I happen to know otherwise but clearly he shoved it off like its my problem. He then tells us the charge for oil change and rotation is $159. I said, not only do we get a free oil change because we recently purchased our car here, but Julian gave us 2 on top of it. He rudely responded, theres nothing in our system you have anything free. We showed him the email from Moss and he says, Oh, well ya, you have rewards points but only for 1 oil change. Then why were you going to charge us $159? Again he played it off like it was my problem. I told him Ill call Julian. Every single interaction with Moss SB has been a negative one. I wish I could go back in time and buy this vehicle from another dealership. We would have saved thousands with no aggrevation. Its like theyre all trained to push all blame and responsibility onto the customer and lie to you while doing it. And the manager just makes promises he doesnt keep. Ive purchased many vehicles and can say with all certainty that this was the worst experience Ive had with a dealership. Lesson learned never to purchase from a Moss Bros again.

Comment: Service department lied to me different times about something that never happened, they stalled my repairs for month’s gave my vehicle back to me 3 different times with the same problem a transmission leak. Afterwards the manager tells me there is a hair line crack and needs a new transmission which was far from the truth. I took it to a local transmission shop and in one day they sealed the transmission pan and never mentioned a hair line crack. Won’t recommend this place get a second opinion before you get anything done. Plus it’s expensive.

I must leave my truck there for at least 24 hours and that doesnt even guarantee they will. have looked at it. No way to drop it off when they are ready to do the update. Comment: I am very disappointed in the service I received today for my 2004 Jeep Liberty. Never had an issue in the 15 years with this establishment until now. I intentionally marked the left front tire with a sticker to ensure a tire rotation was done. Once the service was complete, to include an oil and filter change, I walked to my vehicle and noticed the sticker was on the same tire. Wow, I was in total disbelief and makes me think twice and all those years taking my vehicle here for any type of service. Not sure if I ever want to come back and who knows, maybe the other Moss Bros dealerships are doing this too. On a positive note, service advisor, Christofer Cervantes was very helpful & Geoffrey, the manager, was very apologetic. Wasted time for me and the business just to take it to back of the establishment and actually do the service. Geoffrey, was kind enough to offer a full tank of gas, which I totally get it and I declined, but he insisted and he stated “it would make me feel better”. I know he cannot be watching his technicians all the time but it’s the integrity of the technician to ensure the type of service is done correctly the first time. Moving forward, a suggestion would be to mark those tires somehow, as a adviser, and or manager, to ensure that the tire rotation gets done. That way you, as the advisor, and or manager knows it was done correctly.

Comment: Stay away!!! The service department in San Bernardino is ran by Rick. He is a slick talking unethical typical dirt bag service guy. He has goons like Frank, working for him. They will say anything like, I called you three times and left two message. or how about, Dont worry well put are best guy on it and give you a call. What call? I went there for a simple key fob fix. My anti thief system activated and I just need a new key. Oh no, says the dirt bag trying to make money off everyone that they see. My truck, a 2014 Ram 1500 V8 gas, just sat at their shop and they did not contact me. Unless I called and left message, Monday to Friday and still no fix. Every time I called, it was, My tech is still trying to see what is wrong with your module. Im like okay we went over this already why havent you replaced like Rick the dirt bag said you would? Comment: Recently bought a 2021 Jeep at Moss Bros. Didn’t drive it over the weekend due to the odor of gas fumes inside the vehicle. Tried to schedule an appointment to take it in on Monday, but all slots were booked. Called the dealership and asked for the manager, described the problem and he told me to bring it in and he would fit me in. I took it in and Becca checked me in and told me she would be in touch once the problem was diagnosed. Long story made short; the repair part needed had to be ordered. Becca called me with the news and told me someone from Moss Bros. Would pick me up at home at 8:00 the next morning and take me to Hertz to rent a car pending the part arriving. Becca was thoughtful and proactive in meeting my needs for an interim vehicle. I am appreciative of her efforts as I was going on vacation that week and had a lot of errands to run. Her efforts gave me confidence that I would be treated fairly as a customer at Moss Bros. Thanks Becca.

Comment: I don’t think I’ve ever had such a poor experience, from sales to service. Sunday we purchased a 2022 challenger gt.1. We were in contact with Adrian via email about a price for not only the car, but the trade in. This was not honored when we drove an hour+ out of our way to the dealership, and no attempt to rectify the situation was made. We received a “sorry for the miscommunication“.2. When we brought this up to our terrible sales person Rudy, he brought in Matt the sales manager who was rude, and condescending. We told Rudy we would not be interacting with him again.3. We paid for and was told the low-jack was ready to go. When we got home to set up the app, we received an error message stating hardware device needed to be installed. When I contacted Rudy he said that yes we would again have to drive an hour + out of our way for something we were told was completed. (No mention of further service required when we purchased). No apologies for any inconvenience.4. There were sport pedals in a box in the trunk (new car) that weren’t installed. I was informed I would have to pay out of pocket to have this installed!!The attitude of the entire staff is very indifferent, and the bad experience just keeps on going. From sales to service. I guess the buck stops when you sign the paper work because no one seems to care about the customer. Will not recommend (to say the least).9-30-22The problem continues! Received a call 6 days later saying they had us sign paperwork on the wrong VIN! What a joke this place is!10-2-22They sent a courier to have us resign paperwork on Saturday (related to the wrong vin- see below) and they didnt bother to disclose we were signing paperwork with different prices and a different APR. When I called the finance manager Josh (as I compared the original paperwork we signed to this new paperwork) he said - what do you mean the numbers dont match? So rude and condescending. I then talked to him - line by line, and he started backpedaling on how this was a better deal. So very shady.

Well I did the lemon law and I didn’t get all my money back. I try to go to the dealership to cancel a warranty and they would not help me they kept telling me to talk to this person talk to that person. And that person kept telling me to talk to them. Well I ended up going through my attorney to get the information I need it. Wish they could have went on their computer and did the same thing. I will not buy another thing from that dealership and I advise anyone else not to because if you do you will end up in the service line every other day so no I do not like this dealership

Comment: Service sucks always. Once they sell you a car theyre done with you and no room for alternatives or work with you. I bought 2 brand new cars and same issue has happened. Said I would not do it again after 1st car and decided to give it another chance and same result after 2nd purchase. Definitely not going back for 3rd. 1st purchase I test drove all day V6 SUV and that was my specific request, they took me to a brand new car and gave me a V4 without me noticing until I took it home. Nothing ever done to fix it.

Comment: My experience was not positive first thing I had made a appointment for just oil change and I get there early and now it’s going to be 3-4 hours. My Jeep needed the oil changed so I took the chance after the 3 hour I was told the oil pump was not working so they needed to move my car to another stall that was just the beginning of the bad experience then the Jeep was done and was handed my keys to go find my own car the seat cover was still in there the floor mats we’re not removed and the front hood was filled with hand prints off oil same with steering wheel at this point I need to bring to there attention and was told that they will take care of it I seem the service tech wiped it off with a regular rag the car was returned back and now there’s scratches on the hood remember the car is black and it’s easy to scratch at this point I get the service manager involved and I get excuses for the poor service I get in my truck there’s no oil change sticker I go back and they tried to give me the sticker to filed it out I expected better service from a dealer now I need to return back to get the scratch

Comment: Made an appointment for a recall fix for my jeep. The woman I talked to said it would be 45 min to 3 hours to fix. When I arrived after a 1.5 hour drive from Big Bear I was told they would need it for 24 to 48 hours. I could not leave my jeep there as I had no way home. They didnt offer a loaner or offer any other help to fix my dilemma. All they said was do you want to reschedule? This was the most unprofessional dealership Ive ever visited. Comment: Extremely disappointed with the dealership visit I did on saturday. I had looked for an Hyundai Sonata to purchase from this dealership. As I was not looking to pay for any dealer added fees I made sure they are not charging me anything on the top of the listed price. The representative whom I spoke with confirmed that there wont be any dealer added fees on the used car. So, I decided to drive 60 miles to reach their dealership to test drive. I had to drive again for like 20 mins to reach another location where they had had their vehicle. It was not even ready for test drive. When the vehicle came to me for test drive It was dirty from inside and outside with smoke smell and cigarette ash all around... the cup holders the headliners were dirty and not cleaned. I was surprised how can they keep the car in that condition when the car is on sale for the sale 57 days. I even doubt they might have done the pre-sales inspection and service. And the most annoying part when I reached back their office to talk on the numbers they now introduced the dealer added accessories fees. Why did they even waste my time, gas and effort.Never visit this store if you looking to buy an car ... Quite unprofessional and unwelcoming.

Nevertheless, Thomas B. was kind enough to take care of me. He led me test drive the Tacoma the one I wanted to buy.During the test drive, I asked what would the total price. He said its about list price + 10% (tax, registration, fee, and misc). I think it is fair n i ok with it.We were in the office filling out the paperwork, n later he came back with $10k more than the list price. I said this is not list price, n he said that I have to pay for the original stickers tax n the cost of new truck. I said, it is not how this work.He then asked me what do I to achieve here. I said i will buy from your original listed price on the web site +10%. He then said he will go back to talk to his Manager. Three hours later I decided to leave when they still haven’t touched my vehicle. Spoke to the service manager and was told that’s what I should expect.If you cannot do an oil change within three hours there is something extremely wrong in the processes of your job. This is what they do, day in day out and they can’t still figure out how to get the job done in a reasonable time frame.So the higher cost at a dealership equates to slower service and the inability to value their customers time.

Comment: We found a truck on their website which was $12,000 less then walking on the lot to buy. We live in Nevada but it was worth the drive even with gas prices as high as they are. Our salesman Mike was very patient and knowledgeable. The process was very easy. I did not like the fact that were nickel and dimming over a tank of gas. Our salesman said we would get half a tank then retracted and said they would put in $50 which the truck was on empty and with the price of gas that would not give us half of a tank, so our salesman put in $20 more of his own money. I had issues the week after our purchase. The truck came with LoJack and the dealer didn’t release the vehicle. I could not create an account until they did. I kept getting the run around until I spoke to our salesman and he fixed the problem. Fun fact: All the signing was done on a giant sign board that was the size of the desk.

I also spoke to the salesman on the. 22nd prior to going there the salesman I spoke to said he would sale me a particular car at a set price so I ventured to there location on Sunday to purchase the car and drive it home the trip took me one hour and thirty five minutes and its 62 mile away then when I got there and meet up with the salesman I test drove the car and said I would take the car. He came back to me saying that he wasnt sure if the sales manager would go for the price that brought me there and yes he was right the sales manager wanted 2000 more than the price that got me there. I said no deal now they are harassing me. one the phone. Dont was your time, fuel, and energy going there and once they get your information they will harass you if you dont buy. It was an hour drive from us, so we didn’t want to go for nothing. We were told they had many Grand Cherokee L’s with the trim and features we wanted, so we decided to go. Once we got there, we were very disappointed to find out that they had none. The person helping us wasn’t even sure if any dealers in the area would have one we would be able to buy. We drove an hour based on false information just to drive all the way back. It was just very misleading over all and a huge waste of time.

Comment: Dropped my car off to have the door seal replaced and my car was just worked on today. They had it finished in two or so hours. I never received an update had to keep calling to ask for updates. I finally got in contact this morning complained about the wait and they had it done. However when bringing my car back home the antenna was missing. It was an antenna I had bought myself, not stock. Took it back to the shop where they claimed it wasn’t them. When my car had been with them for almost a month. I would not have lied and wasted my time driving if the antenna missing was my fault. The service manager told me to calm down when I only slightly raised my voice I have seen worse. The service here was horrendous and I ended up with missing antenna. I like to think I am a reasonable person with a lot of patience but once you accuse me of lying I am not okay with that. I will be contacting BBB.

There was damage to my front bumper that required new parts and paint.When we got into contact with Ron and Team at Moss Bros. collision they were able to quickly schedule my vehicle assessment and began to work on our truck within an hour of delivery. Impressive.In a scenario like this, Im hyper-focused on communication from the dealer and the result of the body work. The team communicated the work that needed to be completed before beginning any work, Moss Bros provided an estimated completion timeline, and communicated photos as they were progressing through the work. It meant a lot to us, our family enjoys this vehicle and the communication gave us a sense of priority that Moss Bros was taking pride in their work and respecting our time and auto.We would like to take a moment to recognize Debbie the front desk manager at the collision center, the Collision Center Manager and Ron, their Director. The result, the parts that were replaced and repainted look like they did the day our truck was purchased new and this level of attention means a ton.If you are considering a body shop, consider Moss Bros-they are a world class team and come with my highest recommendation. Comment: I love Dodge trucks. Now lets talk about the customer service. My truck is a few years old and buying parts from the parts department is ridiculous. The counter help are a-holes. I had to drive to the dealership to find out if they have the parts and why you ask??? Because no one will answer the phone. I waited on hold for 35 minutes while I drive to the dealership. As I walked into an empty parts lobby with the parts guys goofing off. Maybe Ill buy a Chevy or a Ford next year hopefully they have better customer service.

Comment: Extremely disappointed with the lemon we got for my son not even a week ago at Moss Bros. He had a horrible experience with his fist car purchase as it broke down not even 24 hours after we got keys. We thought Moss bros would be our best bet to purchase a safe vehicle for him to drive back to school up north 9 hours away. Got a 2019 car Black friday with only 38,000 miles and he drove back to school Saturday and the car started flashing all the lights on dashboard and then would not engage and drive. He was able to take car to Auto Zone Sunday and vehicle had 6 check engine alerts, and car stalled again as he drove it back to his apartment. Waiting to see what the dealership will do as had to make an appointment at a dealer a hour away from him that could see him the soonest tomorrow and we are told he will need to pay for diagnostic and deductible out of pocket since its not a Moss bros, although were told Moss bros will reimburse I dont feel we should be inconvenienced at all. The car did have a tire sensor alert when we got it the but we were told it was fixed and alert would fall off automatically after 100 miles of driving which didn’t happen. Hope Moss bros lives up to their reputation.

Comment: TAKING BACK 5 STARS AND PREVIOUS REVIEW.I had a bad experience today. I had an appointment today for something sooooo basic like an oil change. I dropped off my car at 8 with my service advisor, Robert. I asked about how long it would take and he said about two and a half hours. Since I work from home, I decided to go back home. I take lunch around noon, so I decided to call to check on my car. After multiple attempts I was able to get a hold of an actual person (first and last time) who told me my car was not ready and that Robert was out to lunch. I wonder why after 4 hours my car was not ready. I let an hour pass by then decided to call back I was never able to get a hold of anyone in the service department. Since I was not able to get a hold of anyone, I decided just to head over there after work. I get there about 3pm. Of course there was no sign of Robert. I waited at his office for like 15 minutes, a lady walks in and she calls him over the intercom. At this point I was beyond frustrated. I decided to go ask another service advisor for help. And this is the only reason this place is getting 1 star. He looked in their system, and said that nothing had been done on my car. I told him I just wanted my car back. He went to go get it himself. So basically, my car was there for over 7 hours and the soooo basic oil change was never done. They want to sell us this great customer service, but their lack of communication (even just getting a hold of someone) alone deserves ZERO stars. Chances of me going back are also a ZERO.

Comment: Ive been going to get my car serviced here for four years and am done giving this place chances. Customer Service is lacking, they do not communicate with clients. Today I waited two hours for my car service only to be told they had not looked at my car yet, service advisor wanted me to tell them what was wrong with my car when I told them I was here to see if my brakes needed repair. Then I had to wait an hour more to be told they finally looked at my car and yes the brakes needed repair. I was there two weeks ago getting an oil change and the advisor then did not tell me my brakes were unsafe. In the past for oil changes Ive waited three hours and the advisor is never available to give you updates on time estimates. Ive been going here because it is close to my home but after this experience I will no longer be going here.Update not even two weeks later my brakes are screeching again.

I never felt hassled or rushed to make a decision and they were very patient when my little one became grumpy. I just had my first oil change there and still received excellent service. Comment: Moss Bros. Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM San BernardinoWish there was a ZERO STAR rating option...for the amount of mental anguish and time spent on trying to communicate with this company. Our Jeep broke down in a city over 2 hours away from our home and was in service for over a month, and we could never get in touch with anyone in the service department despite numerous calls and messages to see what the status was. One person did suggest an email and that produced results. Finally, our car was promised for a Friday, so we made arrangements for two drivers to come get it. Despite 9 messages to arrange a time for pick up (including on the General Managers voicemail); we never heard back from anyone. We never received our car until the following Monday evening. Never an apology for not getting back to us, nor an explanation for the numerous delays...SO frustrating!!!

Comment: This place used to be great but its totally gone down hill. No one ever answers the phone in the service department (Ive called up to 9 times in a day, and no answer). I scheduled a service appointment online, and the service department was closed on the day of my appointment. I took in my truck because I needed to have an official diagnosis to file an extended warranty claim, I already knew the issue, directed them to it, but paid almost $200 diagnostic fee for a warranty claim that was denied with a policy they sold me. (FYI, watch the fine print. When they say bolts arent covered, they mean every bolt, no matter what its attached to. Just because your engine is covered and your exhaust manifold is covered, it doesnt mean the bolts that hold them together are covered.) To top it off, when I picked up my truck, I was on the freeway and noticed the hood bouncing around. The hood wasnt properly closed, air filter cover hadnt been replaced and my after market filter was bent. Now Ive been trying to get ahold of the finance department for DAYS to cancel the worthless extended warranty they sold me. Ive left messages, sent emails, went on the chat on their website. Yet no one has gotten ahold of me.

Comment: Set up a service appointment in advance for a vehicle leased from this same location. When I called the morning of the service appointment to confirm my vehicle would likely be completed today before bringing it in for my morning appointment, I was told they are a 48 hour wait for diagnostics and that it would probably not even be looked at until the following day. I was never told this when scheduling my service appointment. When I asked if I could schedule further out so that I could use my vehicle until the day that it would be looked at they said it doesn’t work that way and there are vehicles in line before me and that regardless my vehicle would not be looked at on the day it is dropped off. I don’t see the logistics of doing things this way instead of just scheduling appointments further out so people can use their vehicles until the service department can actually spend time on their vehicle. Especially when this vehicle is leased from the same location, I would think they want their car to be maintained appropriately and to provide good customer service for return business.

Comment: I was very pleased with the overall buying experience of my new Ram 1500 Big Horn during the Memorial Day weekend. My sales person, sales manager, and finance manager were all very professional, treated me with respect, and got me in an out with excellent financing in less than two hours. At the time I would have recommended this dealership to anyone based upon the experience I had.However, I am changing my review based on additional paperwork emailed to me involving my Mopar Maintenance contract. The contract stated, much to my surprise, that I had paid $500 for 3 years of oil changes and tire rotations. Josh, my finance manager at the time of purchase, had explicitly promised free oil changes as part of the contract signed with the lending institution. When I spoke with Josh, he denied that he had promised free oil changes. Now, I am stuck having paid for 3 years of oil changes, that I normally would not have purchased. I am very disappointed with the lack of honesty and integrity, and having been flat out lied too. This is not a way to run any kind of business, and I will no longer recommend buying any vehicle from Moss Bros. San Bernardino. Do be careful, and make sure you get everything in writing!! This dealership will add on several additional fees and charges.

Comment: First of all they did fix problem, but took three weeks. Ive contacted them for 3 days for update with no response until third day. When I picked up vehicle looked like they just slapped my dash in. Weather stripping was not tucked, nor carpet. My dash is not lined correctly as I have a significant gap on right side. Every time I tried to contact Im led to voice mail. I would like my dash centered as I was informed by the individual who contacted me for survey.

They gave a number to call and I did but its not covered 😐. Im not going back here again. They also look like they were going to help me but never call me back to do so to fix my car.

Comment: I was frustrated with them because they told me to come in to see a used vehicle that they realized when I got there couldn’t actually be sold due to mechanical issues.Their internal communication was also poor - multiple times they called me “to follow up on my online interest” just after I’d just come in to see the vehicle or spoken with the general manager about the issues from when I had come in, etc.When they saw my initial 2 star review they did try their best to make it right though - that really was a strong effort, even promising a free oil change for my trouble on a vehicle I ended up buying elsewhere.

Comment: Gilbert Escobedo was hands down the best salesman Ive worked with in the hunt for my 2020 Challenger ScatPack, I got a call as soon as they had one available and was there within the next couple hours got paperwork signed and drove off the lot in less than 24hrs with the car of my dreams! He was on top of every question, comment and or concern I had and gave me the best deal on the exact car I wanted didnt try to sell me on anything but what I came for! The Service Staff kept me posted every step of the way on the repair. They gave me a time line of two weeks, and they delivered in 2 weeks. The Jeeps transmission is operating amazing!! Comment: We just purchased our 3500 Limited from Moss Bros. San Bernardino. Both our salesman, JP Smith, and the finance gentleman, Josh Watson, were great. After spending months researching many makes and models of trucks, we found that Moss Bros. of San Bernardino had the best truck with the trim level we were looking for (Limited) for the best price. We contacted them via the website, and within 30 minutes JP contacted us, and was friendly and informative. We scheduled our test drive, and everything all set up for us when we got there.They run a credit check even though we already had a bankers check and were not financing with them. This is to validate and confirm you are who you are and havent stolen anyones identity. We respect this extra level of diligence.They gave us a great deal on a new (demo) truck, and were thousands lower than the other deals out there. The only thing that threw us off was the California sales tax. This was our first vehicle purchase in California, and it threw us off. However, we got a great deal for the 3500 Limited. JP did a great job to make this happen! We are now recommending JP and the Moss Bros San Bernardino to our friends and family.

Comment: I bought a used Jeep GC Limited here and while the entire experience wasn’t exactly smooth sailing, this dealership really went above and beyond to make things right, and I‘m very thankful for that. First off, our salesman Craig Wade was awesome. Very chill, laid back. No high sales pressure. The actual buying experience was good. The finance team worked with us, and I appreciated them staying late on a Friday night, well beyond their closing time just for us to seal the deal. Unfortunately my Jeeps check engine light came on a few days after purchasing it, but when I contacted Moss Bros about it, I spoke with the manager, Julian, who was very nice and reassured me they would take care of it, which they did. I had to return my vehicle for a couple weeks, but they provided me a rental, and the service team was amazing. Thank you Alfredo and Al for all your help. Everyone at Moss was super accommodating and friendly and just provided excellent customer service. My Jeep runs great now and I couldn’t be happier. I would definitely buy again from this dealership. Thanks again Moss Bros!

Comment: Horrible. Bought my Durango on Friday during 4th of July weekend. Drove my car off and one of the tires was flat driving it off the parking lot. Had to wait until Monday to bring it in. Spent 2 hrs waiting with my three kids to get any information on what they were going to do about the tire. Ended up needing to get a rental so that they can place a new tire. Came back two days later and waited another two hours for my car to be brought out the service department. Meanwhile I drive the rental to the hertz down the way to turn it in while someone from moss came in the courtesy shuttle to pick us up and bring us back to the dealer. I waited 45 min and no one showed up. The wonderful people at Hertz felt bad and drove me (mind you I’m 6 months pregnant) and my three kids back to the dealership. I was told I would receive an email from Moss in regards to a review that they require all buyers to do. I haven’t received that at all. Haven’t even heard from anyone at Moss since I purchased the car. Wonder why.

Comment: They offer a discounted price, but watch out they get it right back up to list with the tricky ads with small print about add ons and dealer installed accessories, for example, Moss will offer a $3995 discount, but when you get there it has $3695 worth of made up whatever we want to say add ons for 3-6 times it value, thats fine but put it in your ad price, not a hey look when you get here a separate add on window sticker surprise! they will tell you it has paint sealant, or scotch guard, or nitrogen filled tires, GPS system, all at triple reasonable cost value, also note any electronic dealer installed aftermarket GPS can void factory warranties of whatever its plugged into or even the computer, The truck I was looking at wasnt even at San Bernardino as advertised, it was in Moreno Valley, we had to go get it, I did buy it after I was triple teamed by sales crew and I needed the truck but was unhappy about the markups, it was also missing the owners manual and the second key, they promised it would be there next week when I came back in, it wasnt, making excuse after excuse why it was not there, now I have to go there a third time and waste more time, dont let this happen to you! expect to pay a higher price and payment than advertised, and dont take to vehicle unless you get both keys right then and there as they dont care once the sale has been made about getting things like that done, below is a disclaimer, I love how they say may, vehicles on ad with dealer discounts will have the ad ons, in other words Moss sells just a few hundred below list price!

They kept me in the loop with every step of the progress while they were looking for the right vehicle for me at the price I told him I wanted to pay. Also had the general manager and the service manager both come out and introduce themselves to me and give me their cards made me feel very welcome when I walk into the showroom to pick up the vehicle.

Comment: I was hesitant to bring my car here for service because of all the bad reviews but since I did have to tow it I decided I would give it a chance since it was closest to my house. I dropped it off on a Thursday about noon and was told I will get a call by end of day to let me know what the problem was so I did receive a call and was told my starter went out and they found a leak from the trans cover. They said the part had to be ordered and it should be done by Saturday. Well nine days later I finally got my car back. I never received another phone call from them besides the one I got on the first day I dropped it off. They didn’t even call me to let me know my car was ready for pick up. I have been calling every day trying to find out what was going on but pretty much just got excuses never a straight answer. It has just been a really bad experience all around. Very poor customer service here, at least in my situation. Unfortunately I will not be returning here. Moss Bros you guys should really make some changes in your service department.

Comment: I think I had the bad luck of needing service at the wrong time. The service advisor that I was given never made me feel like I could completely trust him. Multiple trips to the service department before issue was resolved, No thanks to him. I was advised on my last visit that he was no longer employed there. Get the phone system fixed and in the meantime find a way to answer your customers phone calls. I wouldve like to keep doing business here since it is closer but I would rather go to another site a little farther and get better service. 3 stars because they eventually did fix the issue with my car.
