This place is supposed to help low income people get good transportation. I know a young mother that saved and purchased a van for just under $1000. It broke down on the way home! Seriously! Bad transmission and was missing the catalytic converter. Was never able to drive it with her infant son. Couldn’t use it to get back and forth to work. This place out to be ashamed of themselves for taking advantage of someone who is desperate for transportation. They refused to buy it back, yes, she bought it “as is”, but you don’t expect a vehicle to break down leaving the lot. I will never donate another car to Mother Waddles. Never. I feel these cars need to be inspected and driven by the “salesman” before selling a vehicle. If you wouldn’t drive it, DON’T SELL IT!Go to a reputable place with good reviews if you want a cheap vehicle. Stay far away from this place!!
Just bought a really nice truck with very minor issues for a decent price. Only thing I wasnt fond of is how cold it was inside the lobby area. I believe it should have been warm since it is really cold outside but there was pretty much no difference. But besides that I received great customer service and bought a great truck just in time for the winter
Who gave this place 3 Stars most of the cars they head out there either they need titles or either the car was not ready to be sold and it is so cramped up in there you can barely walk matter of fact Im changing it to one star Im not saying not to go out there its a charity motors but the way the layout is is ridiculously discussing cars so close in a row you can barely get through if you did decide to buy a car they got to move five or six cars to get to the car you want to buy
First: most of these cars are Junks and very expensive, Some cars with high mileage cost double the kbb value also some needs engine or transmission costs more than cars with no problems if you buy them from another dealer or private.Second I asked the manager to help me a little bit with price he told me this is a dealer we can’t help you even if you are low income. We should report these people to the government they making millions of dollars without helping low income people.
I was so sick of trying to sell my car that after one month of meeting with potential buyers, showing them it, and having no luck, I gave up. Trying to sell my car was way too time consuming and not worth the money the vehicle was even valued at. My coworker told me about his wife donating her car and how convenient it was. He also mentioned they got a tax deduction for donating. “Tax deduction,” I thought….maybe I should see what that’s about. I looked up charities and came across Mother Waddles. I liked their charitable cause and after speaking to a representative for a few minutes I was sold on donating. The process was so easy and only took a few minutes. I am so glad I donated to Mother Waddles to help kids live a better life.
It was a super easy process. I asked for my tax papers... got them. I didn’t know that the car portion was NOT ran by mother Waddles. Her daughter Andrea runs the mission (helping the needy etc) the car donate program is something all together separate. But I wanted to be a help to Andrea and the mother Waddles legacy so I’ll be donation more in the future. Great Legacy.
They negotiated the price better than what i expected have a great running car only very small technical issues nothing over 100 and it being a luxury car this place deserves better feed back half off is literally what they do!!!!!!!!!!! Not 75 or 80 percent off they do their half just have yours
Professionals through the whole donation process.I decided to donate my 2003 VW Jetta to this organization because of their mission oriented to provides used cars to families in need. The majority of other car donation programs rely instead on auction sales. Because of the good conditions of my Jetta, i thought that this program was more appropriate, since a family in need could get a reliable vehicle with all bells and whistles. The MW supervisor on the phone provided me a good explanation of the process and was also keen enough to respond the questions I had. After compiling the application form online, a towing company contacted me to set up the most suitable pick-up. Next day my beloved Jetta was departing on the flatbed.
This used to be a Mother Waddles lot, it hasnt been for close to a decade. They are charging regular lot prices/private party prices as their low income prices. Not worth going. From what I gather, they are discounting the price of the speculated work needed to the vehicles.
RIP OFF With The CAR Donation Program. All The Good Cars Go To a Used Car Lot Which Are Sold For Big Money [ That The Charity Gets A Very Small Percentage ]. The Rest Of The Cars Go To Auctions . Thanks for all the warnings! I see all too many GOOD people in a community dedicate their life to making others lives easier...Mother Waddles was one of these people. I know this wouldnt be going down if she was still here! Reminds me of a clinic I left (low income medical)...great loving service from the sweetest lil 85 year old woman who dedicated her life to helping others...she was a tough cookie, but ONLY to those who refused to do help themselves. This lady helped so many of us get off drugs and STAY off...she changed so many lives❤When she finally passed (I say finally bc this woman still came to the office even when she felt like carp..bc she hired an assistant to be by her like 12hrs a day)So when she passed...her assistant that always seemed nice and pleasant became literally evil and now we know why she was always brownnosing...bc she wanted that business...well she got what she wanted..jacked up prices..and has lost about 75% of her clientele. Lesson: charging people ridiculous prices for scrappy service/products MAKES THEM LEAVE YOU AND GO ELSEWHERE. THIS IS COMMON SENSE (FOR THOSE HERE WHO HAVE NONE..😂)People!
I donated a car for a tax write-off never got a receipt letter notification or anything. Just took it. Obviously I didnt care enough to make sure I received what was due to me, I do however know I wont be donating anything else here. Why do I have to call you 3 times to send me a receipt/write-off document when youre a car donation business?
It has some trouble with one of their cars burning up right after it was bought, so I wont be so quick to get a vehicle from there for myself if the vehicle isnt safe enough to drive away, each car should be safe enough to leave the lot and get on the freeway if need be without anything going wrong
The cars are well over priced being that they are donated...they are parked like a jiga game....but the biggest issue is when you buy a car you also have to buy a battery....they take them out when they receive the cars.....yes so have your ow battery when u buy from this OVERPRICED LOTT

2020-09-10Well I got 2 explorers 95 and 96 about 7 years ago and 1 needed a brake line and the other one needed brakes and rotors. But I have nothing negative, because I was in a accident twice and still riding. Anyway, I traded the 96 in for a 2008 taurus and they gave me a 1000 and I paid 1200 for it. I needed a transmission 2 years before trading it in and got it fixed and then traded it in a year after that. Seen the 96 explorer that some lady bought and told her about the explorer, then she up graded a year and later to a 2002 or 2005 explorer. So with that, they did me good and I did myself good. If you need a temporary vehicle thats the place, but you have to read whats wrong with some of them. Oh yeah when I bought my 2008 taurus from a dealer it lasted 2 years and it needed a transmission, 3 ignition coils and could have set on fire and still had to make payments for a car from a 4 star dealer with a warranty that I was getting the run-around about honoring the warranty and THEY TOLD ME it was a EXCELLENT VEHICLE. So its a chance you take and no one is forcing you. People get these vehicles and dont take care of them and want to blame someone else, when they never checked oil and change oil when needed. Never check transmission fluid and would make sure that they have whats not needed and forget about whats really needed and blame someone else. Its a process when transferring a title, so patience is required if you want to get a vehicle the correct way. And that conclude my life story.

2021-05-08Took a friend there to purchase truck. He had limited budget. Waddles came through with a great deal on working truck( needed new battery) car insurance, plate and away we go. Good experience. Now for the not so good. I understand it is a used lot but does it have to look used. The lot and outer sidewalks are crowded with vehicles. You can barely walk lot to view inventory. Borderline unsafe. The staff was wonderful. Just need to improve visional and lot grounds ground movement.

2021-02-10So far so good, with the used 2006 Chevy Cobalt I was able to get, and it was pretty easy to do; knowing that your going to have to know A little something about cars and it would be best to have someone assist you with making your decision and with the purchase of the vehicle.

2019-01-10I frequent this place every time I need a used vehicle. I have bought at least six cars from this place; spending thousands of dollars. I also have referred many friends and family.I was there on Tues1/8/19 but days prior I communicated to the tall Arabic guy that I was interested in the black Ford Flex on the lot. He told me it had a bad engine he knew this because he had already fix the other possible problem. My significant other asked how much he wanted for the car with the engine issue and he quoted $1500.I returned on Tuesday to purchase the $1500 vehicle but when I approached him he quoted 2000. I reminded him that he quoted $1500 days prior. He then “barked” at me stating that he would never quote a price like that for a car worth 6000 and before he sold it to me for that price he would junk the car first. I was appalled and embarrassed because there was others around. He basically said that he would rather lose money than sell a donated car to a person in need. I would’ve bought the vehicle it was only $500 dollars more but that is not how you treat or talk to customers. This guy need to take a customer relations course. I was always told your word is bond, this guy is dishonest and disrespectful to his customers. I will never do business with this place again and I will advise other to stay away as well.
