Had to do the impossible. Buy a bigger home for the growing family and sell the existing home. I do my research. I thought I had a pretty good idea of what the market was for buyers and sellers. MTM gave me the low down, sold the house in a week after the showing for more than I thought we could get. Helped us find our bigger home which was pretty much around what we expected.Sara T was responsive and helpful and Therese is a no nonsense shot caller. She is a smooth talker but has the knowledge to back it up.
Kristin was great!She brought an expertise to the process that was comforting and assuring. While she showed excitement to be a part of this home-buying experience, she was never pushy. We would tell her what we were looking for and she set us up to be informed about the houses that met our description. From there, she always made herself available at the drop of a hat to go to houses that we wanted to look at. IF she wasnt available, she would contact one of her colleagues to ensure we didnt miss the opportunity.Beyond the business stuff, Kristin was just a lot of fun to work with. She would point out things that she would she liked about the houses and things that she did not like (we asked her for this input in advance since this was our first home-buying experience). She celebrated with us after closing and gave us a very thoughtful gift when it was over.Kristin still reaches out periodically to provide us with seasonal updates and market changes.When we decide to sell our house and begin looking for a new one, we will absolutely choose to work with Kristin again!

Hands down, the most skilled real estate agent is Therese Antonelli. Her skill and knowledge got our house sold for TOP VALUE (more than we were hoping for) and ALSO helped us negotiate buying another home at the same time. Therese is the most AMAZING REALTOR! I started my house hunting journey with her almost 5 years ago! She is so confident and intelligent with the knowledge of her work.! Therese and her team were rockstars, start to finish. I was selling my rental property from across the country, and when Therese first stepped in the place, it was in no condition to show. She had a Rolodex of repair folks at the ready, though, who fixed it up promptly at a fair price. She was able to recommend exactly what needed to be done, and oversaw all of the repairs because I live so far away. The place showed beautifully and we got several good offers. We decided to use Moving The Mitten selling our house and, later, buying our new house. We chose them because they are aggressive on social media and seemed to move houses faster than other realtors we see in the area. This absolutely turned out to be the case. Our realtor was Staci Kowalczyk. She was there with us from beginning to end. She made the process simple for us and her knowledge of the business was invaluable when it came to deciding figures and numbers. She walked us through how the process would go, what we needed to do and checked in with us along the way. She was easily available by phone or text. We will definitely be using Moving The Mitten for any and all future real estate business!
Kristin was so much fun to work with!!! She got as excited as we did about the homes we viewed, and quickly picked up on the things we were looking for in a home. Based on her observations of us, she was quick to point out things we probably would get annoyed by later, or make sure we saw things she knew we would really like. She made herself available any time we needed to talk things through and offered her opinion when it was appropriate. If she did not have the answer, she knew who we could contact to get the information. Kristin really made looking for a home fun. I would totally use her in the future, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an agent.
I worked with Mindy Rhodes. She was a pleasure. But there were a lot of unanswered questions I had that she could not answer. My phone calls and text messages went on answered for days. I did have some legal Matters with my home that needed to be cleared up with the title company which in case involved their lawyer through moving the mitten, Jeffrey Fanto. Again phone calls and text messages unanswered for days. When I had questions that needed to answered... no one could help me I just kept getting the runaround. If you’re selling a home you have every right to know what’s going on with your home. And it’s probably in the best interest of the realtor not to send nasty emails to a client when they ask you to take their home off the market. Word of it vice if you go through this realtor company find your own lawyer don’t go through them. My house was on the market for a week but I was in a hot spot there was houses on the market for a day or three the commission that was given to the company and the lawyer was not deserved.

Moving the mitten is awesome we just sold our home in dearborn heights and have found and put in a offer on our dream home. we worked with halee copple and she was the best she did everything possible to get our home sold and to get our offer accepted on the new house she answered every question the wife and I had no matter if it was 10pm on a Sunday night or even if it was 2 days after giving birth. I cannot say enough about this company!!!! From the selling process, buying process, to now their mortgages! I felt so many times like the train was about to go off the track during our adventure to home-ownership and when the train did threaten to derail due to another mortgage companys approval they swooped in again and saved the day. If you have terrible credit and need your hand held through the whole process I highly recommend these folks hands down. Give it a shot, dont pray for someday to get out. That day is today and these are the people!

2022-07-07Moving the Mitten, the entire staff was wonderful to work with, everyone went well above any expectations I have ever had from a Real Estate firm. Tim, our front man, did things that were way over any agents job exceptions. I would recommend Moving the Mitten to anyone interested in buying or selling. Like I said Tim went out of his way to get my house sold. The entire team worked together to make the sale happen. A big thank you to all involved, including Michigan Title!

2021-02-05My husband and I took a first time home owners workshop there to gain more knowledge about that process. Everyone there was welcoming and the class was very informative and helpful.So when we decided we were finally ready to take that step into becoming home owners we knew exactly who we wanted to work with.We are currently working with Deidre and Whitney to purchase our first home and the experience has been absolutely positive. From the moment we contacted them to begin the house buying process they were both friendly, energetic, helpful and it has just been a really good first time experience for us.

2020-11-23Working with Moving The Mitten to sell our house was an amazing experience! They helped us prepare the house, put together a solid marketing campaign, and got us multiple offers the same weekend our house went on the market. We had been living there for over 13 years and were dreading the process of selling, but they made it easy for us. We still live in Michigan so if we ever decide to move again, Moving The Mitten will by my first call.

2020-12-30Great company, great talent. In 2016, Mindy was our selling agent for our current home (at that time) and buying agent for our new home. Firstly, they sold our house in 3 days with great pictures, great open house and minimal effort to get it ready (and over asking price!). Where they TRUELY shined for use was on the buying end. Mindy very quickly showed us that she was not in it for just the sale, but for helping us make the BEST choice for our family. Mindy was quick to point our the red flags in EVERY home we viewed. There were at least 3-4 homes in the 10+ that we viewed that we where shed say oh, see that crack in the basement wall that the tried to cover, deal breaker (or something like that) and wed leave. We fell in love with her and felt very comfortable with her feedback. The home we purchased in 2016 has appreciated by $100K in value in just 4 short years.

As first time home buyers we really had no idea what we were doing but she would answer any question and gave us advice and information so that we could make our own informed decisions.
