Omg love their fried rice & shrimp eggs rolls
The food is great but the customer service makes it almost unbearable. They never answer their phone, so don’t bother trying to place an order over the phone. You have to go in person and order if you want food. And the woman who runs the counter is always rude and cold. The whole store need to take a class on customer service, their food is amazing, but the service is anything but.
FILTHY, FOOD IS GROSS, VERY RUDE. The Michigan health department needs to shut them down!
This is the second time in the last 6 months that we tried to order by calling. We show up there and they literally have their phone off the hook because they cant handle supply and demand! Seriously?? Looks like Ocean City is at the top of my list again
This Chinese restaurant has amazing food!The staff care about Covid protocols, ensuring social distancing and that others are nowhere near the staff or kitchen to minimize contact exposure.The egg drop soup is thick and perfectly flavored, and this restaurant offers the real fried ribbon-sized noodles, not the thin raman-type string noodles to drop in.The general tao chicken is perfect and theyll make it extra spicy if you ask.The prices are very reasonable - be sure to check out their family 4 platter specials!
They dont do the Cantonese pan fried noodles anymore, even though its on their menu. Ordered the shrimp lo mein instead. Completely flavorless, dry, and insulting. Please remove it from the menu.
I absolutely love this place. The quantity and quality of delicious food are worth the price. The employees are friendly and I always leave happy.
As a local college student, this place has been a mainstay for me and a lot of my friends for a long while. Its not gourmet Chinese food, but you can expect consistency at the same cheap price at a very quick pace. Would recommend.
I usually receive great service when I come here, which has been getting better in 2017. I eat here about once a week. I order my food when I walk in the door and my food is ready within 10 minutes. The food is very hot when I get home, tastes great, and usually includes lots of sauce. This is my go-to for take home chinese. Ordering by phone can be tricky if you have a bad connection. They only have seating for 6 people, so this is essentially take-out only.
Amazing fresh quality. I have been searching for two years for good Chinese food with a high standard of quality in area. Really enjoyed my meal. Best Chinese food in 30 mile radius. Im serious too.

I was at Baker College of Auburn Hills for a workshop. Im vegan, so I needed something simple, like veggies and rice. I found this place by searching for Chinese restaurants near me. This place is small and dingy, with LAYERS of dust stuck to grease on any surface I could see from the front. I cant imagine what the kitchen looks like. The food was ok (hence the 2 stars instead of one). I regretted ordering while I was waiting after seeing how dirty everything was. But I ate it anyways because I was hungry and didnt have time to look for something else. They also have a handwritten sign that says $10 limit for credit card charges, which is illegal.
Ordered food today for the first time. I was hopeful that the reviews were just picky people but this food was horrible. I ordered almond chicken and when I opened it noticed a charred smell almost like you would from a BBQ. Upon trying the rice I then realized it also tasted charred like it had been tossed in an old pan that had burnt food in it other then that it had no flavor at all. The chicken also was bland which most places almond chicken is but the gravy you get usually helps with that. In this case the gravy also had no flavor at all. The only thing that was okay was the crab ragoon . I was really wishing it was going to be good since my house is down the road and I would love to support small businesses in my city but I wont ever be returning.
Just god awful service. I called, and got hung up on when I asked if they deliver to my area. Called back, trying to get some food, but the lady started yelling at me about the snow. So I finally got my order through to her, then she said that it would be there between 1-1.5 hours. Just before she hung up, I had to remind her that she needed my address, and that she didnt even ask about payment. The food took 3 hours to get to my place, and was brought up by an obviously high delivery man. When I finally sat down to eat, the main part of my order was just wrong, not to mention cold. Even warm, the food had no taste to it whatsoever. Had to drench it all in soy sauce.NEVER ordering from here again.
They have the best Chinese food ever
This review is based on service about a year ago. The tile floor in the lobby was filthy and tiles broken and missing. Thick black cobwebs near the door and in the corners of the ceiling. Black grime on door handle..which could easily be cleaned but its not. I havent been back and dont plan too. I cant imagine what the kitchen looks like.
Ordered Sweet n sour chicken got hair n slop instead. I found a long strand of hair half way through my meal. This is not the first time i found foreign material in one of there dishes. Never again!
Got the almond chicken combo. Chicken is very plain. Gravy and rice was decent. Wont be back here less I have a huge craving for Chinese.
Worst service ever. Owner came through door eating and then proceeded to talk to me a full mouth of food. Disgusting.Then the phone rings and she holds up her finger to me, like wait a minute. The phone is obviously more important than a human person in front of her. She proceeds to take a full order while I stand there trying not to look at her chomping food and taking an order.Then back to me with a look of comn order already. Then I ask for a side of the sweet and sour sauce (like on the chicken - I like it on my rice) and there is normally a small extra fee .75 or 1.00, she looks at me then scribbles down $2.00. Rice, soup and egg rolls = $18. I said no way. Told her I wasnt hungry any more and left.She stood there with a silly shocked look on her face and yelled, What happened? I shook my head back-n-forth and left grossed out and in full disbelief of her total lack of customer attention.I will NEVER eat here again.
Love this place! Ive been coming here for years. Tonight I got the Sesame Chicken and Pepper Steak dinners...and they were so so so good! Just the right spice and so tasty
The Mandarin Delight was delightful and very spicy. I also added a couple of egg rolls at the suggestion of a friend and they were nearly perfect. This is the best Chinese restaurant experience I have had in a while.
I realized that most Chinese restaurants are hit or miss when I ordered. The food was okay kinda bad for the price. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken combo and the fried rice was a little burnt. the sauce tasted like limes so I ended up not using it. Overall it was a okay meal.
Ive eaten there probably 20=25 times since Ive lived here. Always fast, great food at a reasonable price. Only had 1 less than stellar experience where the food taste wasnt up to par but was still good. Would recommend.
Such a great dinner! Got the dinner for 3 and it was fantastic! Great value, TONS of food, and it tasted amazing. Everyone loved it and we still even have leftovers!
I also agree. I will never eat here again. Check your food before you eat. I have found an extra unknown protein in my food. As a matter of fact, Im calling the Michigan Health Department. Hope they do something before people start getting sick.Also, I have complained about a burnt spring roll and the lady replied What you want me to do ... You dont eat that part ... The rest still good.LOL. Are you serious !!! Wasnt planning on it.
Food is always very quick, very cheap and very good. Chicken fried rice is the best Ive ever had, and you get an enormous amount too. Love this place, I make it a point to stop in whenever Im in the area.

The food was under cooked. It didnt even taste good with alot of soy sauce on it. The service was horrible especially the lady at the cash register. I will NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN!!!! Its close to my work and I really wanted to like it. My staple to order for a new Chinese restaurant is Almond Boneless Chicken and Wonton Soup. First I will say there are several complaints about the lady being rude. She was nice to me and in fact I think she could actually be a little shy. Maybe it wasnt the same lady. Ok.... the soup it was ok. But who puts lettuce instead of bok choy in wonton soup? Now the Almond Boneless Chicken was awful. They need to change their oil. It wasnt burned but had the bad oil after taste. Now the gravy..... it was like no gravy Ive ever had, I cant even describe how bad and strange it was. Thank goodness I had stuff at home to make my own and that I know how. Needless to say even though it is the only Chinese restaurant I found near work I will unfortunately not be going back.
I love this place. My favorite is the sweet amd sour chicken. Generous portions for a reasonable price. Elaine is so pleasant , she gets you as you walk In the door .
Despite other reviews this place has always been quick, cheap, and good food. I have yet to have a bad experience customer service wise so for me its been good. Dont expect like p.f. chang quality chinese, but for your average take out this place does a good job!
I love the food. Its always prepared i. A quick manner and its always up to par. The interior will throw you off but I highly suggest giving it a try.
This place has really taken service to a new level... amazing food... living and traveling throughout this country eating sesame chicken and fried rice everywhere..I currently away from home...this truly has been a great bite all over...good size plate for a reasonable price... Im actually sad I didnt leave a bigger tip

The general taos chicken dinner combination plate was really good and filling for the price that I paid for it. General Taos chicken, chicken fried rice and an egg roll for only 8 bucks? whoa.
They are usually pretty fast and have decent prices. Gives you something easy to order besides pizza! The Crab Ragoons are the BEST I have had in a long time!
Customer service was terrible. I asked for a test taste of a dish that I have never tried before. When asked, the taste test was not given and when I asked for an exchange because the dish was not to my liking. They would not give one. Terrible terrible customer service I basically threw away my money for a bad dish.

Dont say We deliver and then only deliver on some days. How disappointing when you cannot drive to get food, so you order delivery, and are then told Sorry, we dont have the driver today. Shouldnt you have more than one person who drives to actually have a delivery service?

Ordered Chinese for a work lunch meeting. The delivery boy disrespected my coworker in person and harassed her via text message after the delivery! Complete with racism and F-words! Reconsider giving your address and phone number to such an angry person.
Went to get some take out at 7:50pm but they were already closed. You guys should really update that with google, says you close at 9pm.....very disappointed and hungry.

I usually get good service but after placing my order she charged my card and it said insufficient funds well I payed with cash and went home to check my account and it said it charged my card and the bank verified it and I went to the store a hour later and she refused to give me my money back or refund my card even had the bank on the phone she was very rude and disrespectful to me over the situation dont go there unless u pay in cash

2022-04-18Affordable, good quantity. Taste was good, but not exceptional. Dinner combo includes egg roll, a healthy portion of chicken fried rice, and plenty of the entree of your choosing. The rice was a bit dry, and the breading on the General Tsos chicken was a bit hard in places, but overall tasted fine. The cashier is very kind, and I appreciated the effort for contactless payment and giving of food.

2022-01-24Been an on and off customer for years and the spring rolls are awesome. Food is always hot and well made. However their space always seems scary dirty. Some days I can pretend its fine and I order. Most days I just cant get past the impression and take a pass. Super nice people though

2020-03-03They make all the food fresh at the time of order. The quality is great and I do like many of their dishes. My only gripe is that the Schezwan and Mongolian dishes are not spicy as they are supposed to be. Too plain for my tastes. I prefer New Garden. Again though, their food is very good except for this. I would recommend the General Taos and make to ask for extra sesame seeds if you want it to be truly authentic.
