Food has gone downhill in my opinion. Ordered chicken shish kabob bowl. This was the driest chicken I have had in my life. Went with a group around 11:30, everybodys chicken was the same way. Seemed like reheated leftovers to get that dry. I changed my rating from 5 star to 3 star based on my last few visits and quality seems to be slipping. Especially for the prices charged
Omg , My family and I went to Mr. kebob, on a Saturday afternoon, we walked in and the place was so nice and so very very clean, the food was amazing, I have to say that twice the food was absolutely amazing, but I have to say along with the food being absolutely amazing the staff is just as amazing, for some of us it was our first time coming to Mr. kebob , they were so friendly and patient they were so helpful in explaining the menu the process and they took their time and explained everything to us, I have a very big mouth And I’ve been spreading the word since last Saturday. You guys are amazing thank you.💯💯💯‼️‼️‼️

Bad quality with no variety and very pricey on top of that. Could not eat chicken kabob at all. It didnt taste fresh and lacked flavor. Best to go to an authentic place where they make fresh chicken and offers reasonable prices with variety. This place is off my list forever.

Always tasty! We have never had a problem with the food, sometimes side order items are left out which is never a big deal since they are included in the price, but they have gotten much better with this. The marinated Filet is always tasty and tender, but it has been removed from the menu (I assume due to cost). No matter what you order here you wont go home hungry.
Not sure how they have 4.6 stars but this place should start by changing their name or make sure they have either beef or lamb kabob in stock. In fact when I went today they said they no longer offer it...big facepalm. Besides that the food is at best mediocre. The chicken was very dry and poorly seasoned. The chicken and beef shawarma were not good. I could tell they used some off the shelf shawarma seasoning, or they just have a terrible recipe. I doubt they got the shawarma machine in the building even.Keep getting disappointed with these lack luster middle eastern spots outside of Dearborn. Starting to think theyre running a racket bc they dont have to worry about majority of their customers being Arab and knowing what truly good middle eastern cuisine is.
Weve been quite pleased with several visits to Mr Kabab. Very good value on fast, fresh kababs, gyros, hummus, ect. Staff always friendly. Only reason I disnt go 5 stars (rated 4) is because its not trying to be a high end, white linen place. We look forward to going back regularly.
Just ordered from this place for lunch. Delicious. I ordered the custom bowl, picked the kabob chicken. It was so good. The chicken was cooked perfectly and all the toppings I chose to put in the bowl was so good. I especially like the website, so user friendly and easy to custom your own food. Will definitely be going back for future lunches. Yummo.

Fantastic food and very friendly staff. The manager came by our table and made sure everything was to our liking. I highly recommend mixing your sauce bases (I did hummus and garlic sauce - highly recommend). All the possible combinations can feel intimidating at first, but if you know what you want (i.e., garlic sauce, hummus, lettuce, chickpeas, couscous, pickled turnips, this green sauce I cant remember the name of, gyro meat, and tzki sauce), its an easy, quick, and delicious experience. Visiting from out of town and wish we lived closer to one.
It was my first time and it was awesome! So helpful! Fries were amazing, and everything was so fresh, and the Mr. kabob team was so friendly and amazing.

This place is good, but I think the portions have gotten smaller.Ill give them the benefit of the doubt and say they got bigger bowls...Either way, the food is good, I just feel like we dont get as much bang for our buck as we used to.

Ive now gotten food from this place a few times the past year and every time it has exceeded my expectations. This place has excellent customer service, some of the best in the area. The employees are prompt, professional and kind. Also for the price of the amount of food you get here, you cant go wrong! Highly recommend!
AMAZING food! I got a chicken shawarma bowl and it was perfect. Can’t wait for fall to try their lentil soup. The staff was super friendly and efficient. The restaurant was very busy and they did a great job helping everyone.
This is only for curbside delivery. Due to pandemic, have done only curbside pickups. Food is great, flavors are good, portions are huge. Garlic fries were a delight. Food turn around time is quick too. The orders can be customized in great detail. Chicken shawarma bowl and wraps were both great options.
I work down the street and whenever we have people come in to visit, I always recommend we go to Mr. Kabob. Its great because everyone can build their own meal so it can accomodate all dietary restrictions and the serving sizes are HUGE! Love going there and love the rewards program, generally get 25% off my meal once a month or so from it.
SO great. Clean, contemporary space with super fresh food and friendly, knowledgeable staff. I dont eat mediterranean frequently so I was a little nervous, but the girls up front were great at explaining everything, and the cook with glasses made the best chicken ever. I thought it was a little pricey at first but the portions are so reasonable and the quality was top notch- even the dressings are all made in house! This is definitely a regular stop for me now after work. Plus they offer online ordering for busy days.

Think of it as a Chipotle or Mod Pizza but for Middle Eastern foods... Lots of choices, no limits on how many things you can add in, pay by the protein and format (wrap or bowl), and there are quite a few protein option.Food quality was very good, I love the Jalapeno Hummus, the chicken shawarma was also really good.Give it a try! Its a great place for a quick middle eastern bowl or wrap!
I ordered a bowl from the store and did the curbside picked up. When I open it in the bowl is like almost empty. I never expected from them like this. Am a regular customer of mr kabob in Troy.I have expected same from livonia also, but they are bad and I wont recommend livonia mr kabob.
Have been here multiple times and the food and service is always consistently great! A frequent go to for us when in need of a delicious, relatively healthy, and fresh testing meal on short notice. Would highly recommend!
Mr. Kabobs is one of my favorite go to. I remember when they used to be a small hole in the wall in Troy on Big Beaver road. This new location is also great since it’s a great location after our Costco trip. However with this new location they are missing my favorite entree “chicken cream chop” even though it’s on the menu the cooks don’t know how to make it. No worries I’ll expand my experience! Something I found funny, they don’t sell kabobs lol!

Combo of amazing food with horrible service. The girl who took my order had a horrible attitude for no good reason, I ordered two bowls which Im realizing now that Im home, are both not edible. I dont expect a parade when Im ordering food but seriously mr.kabob, find better workers..
Stopped in opening day without realizing it - so good! Everything was super fresh, great flavor, and a welcoming environment. Garlic sauce was excellent, hummus had a lot of flavor - even the fries were rock stars. Definitely adding this into the rotation for must stops while back in town!!

Got the steak shawarma bowl. It was sooo good! I would eat this every single day.
Second time visiting here and was dissapointed at the service. I placed an order through Grubhub 30 minutes prior and waited inside for 15 minutes as I didnt see my order listed on the rack. I asked one of the workers if they got my order and said they completely missed my order and said they will get to it. They also missed another item that I had to wait another 5 minutes to get. The food was fine but just not the greatest service.

I was pleasantly surprised that it tasted as good as it did and that they give you a good portion of protein- so many places load up on the rice and veggies, which are good for you, but they give you like 2 tablespoons of protein and charge you the same price- This was the perfect ratio- I did a double of protein because I was splitting it- $13 for regular steak shawarma bowl $4 for extra chicken shawarma- It was flavorful and very filling-The prep area wasn’t clean and there was a lot of noice ( workers)so it was hard to hear the person preparing my bowl- He also struggled to hear me and a couple times almost gave the incorrect toppings-I would have given 5 stars but at the end my prepare took off his gloves and wiped his fingers across his nose area - touched my card, then my food bowl…I know for some this isn’t a biggie but Covid has definitely highlighted lack of hygiene that many have🙂
They no longer carry steak kabobs, only chicken. I guess they will be changing their name soon to Mr. Shawarma.

The poor dasher got there and waited over 20 min to 25 min then they handed her the wrong order. When she confronted them with the receipt they told her they never received this - but they charged my card. The restaurant sucks and I would bother with them anymore. Dasher was super awesome to intervene.
A cross between Chipotle and 2941 street food, it was surprisingly delicious and filling. Ordered the Chicken Shawarma wrap with a side of Greek fries. Really enjoyed the food and will be back when I am in need of a quick bite.
This place was amazing! Food was fresh and delicious and so many options! The owner asked how we enjoyed ourselves and if we ever visited a Mr. Kabobs, this was our first. The bachlava was insanely delectable. Ill be back!

2022-07-21I loved the concept. You can pick and choose a variety of bases, veggies, and toppings. We both had a bowl and thoroughly enjoyed it. My one complaint: two bowls and one soda was $30. That seems high to me.

2022-01-12First time visiting this location of mr. kabob express. Ive not been in Michigan in nearly 3 years, but if anything the quality felt like it has gone up. Great portion size, you can pick whatever you want in your bowl including multiple hummus varieties. I got the chicken shawarma bowl which tasted great with tzatziki, garlic sauces. Overall, well worth the money for the bowl. The dining area was quite clean too, theyre doing a good job.

2021-08-22Came in with three friends for a Sunday lunch. It was our first time visiting and all four of us would absolutely come back again! The resturant was bright, modern and clean. All the staff were very friendly, service was great!The amount of choices can be a little overwhelming but it also means theres something for everyone! I got the chicken shawarma bowl, and the meat and veggies were all fresh and tasted great. I would say that next time rather than the fattoush dressing I would go with Tzki or Garlic sauce. It wasnt bad, but my friends bowls with the other sauces were outstanding! The gyro meat is also a great protein choice! My cant miss topping is the pickled turnips, the perfect addition to any bowl. I could eat them all on their own!Also, dont skip the Greek fries! They were a group favorite! So was the baklava!Overall service was fast, and we got quality food that was very clearly freshly made and 100% delicious! From what we were told the ingredients are fresh made in house, which is probably why it all tastes so fresh! The price point may be a little high for some people, but I was satisfied with what I got. The only improvement I could think of is a few recommended bowl/wrap combos because of the wide variety of choices, but expiramenting and trying new things is fun too! If I lived in-state I would visit often!

2021-10-04Been coming here since they opened but I think today is our last time. Everything in the restaurant was filthy—from the coke machines to the floors. They also made my bowl 75% sauce and undercooked the meat after I requested well done. It was an unfortunate, quick slide down for this location and we’re very disappointed.

2022-02-27We been ordering food from Livonia branch since it opened, their quality is getting worst every time, portions size have gone smaller and prices have gone up. I don’t mind price’s going up because everything is gone up but at least keep the portions right. Last night we ordered 2 spicy bowls they had no tomatoes, no pickles, no cilantro and the bowls were barely half full. Come on if someone orders online for pickup it means they trust your server to do it right. Receipt says the name of server.This happened twice to us sorry we also work hard for our money if you can do it right we take our business to other places.

2022-07-28Tried this place again after 2 years forgetting how terrible it was. Zero stars if I could. Dry, bland chicken. Rice is just rice pilaf. The sauces are store bought with bland flavor, particularly the garlic sauce. Not authentic kabob style. Nothing that I ordered is redeeming about this place. Felt like I was eating a pieces of paper.

2021-02-14I absolutely love Mr. Kabob Xpress. Staff is very nice and friendly. I really enjoy the steak shawarma bowl here. I love the fresh toppings like pickled turnips and the cucumber mix. The dressings to top it off have to be ranch, tzatziki and spicy garlic.
