My family has been going to my community Dental for a year now and the staff has been great up until today when I took my 11 year old in to get fillings. All of a sudden due to COVID-19 parents cant go back with there minor child. I asked to see the office policy regarding this and was told there was nothing on this matter. I then asked to talk to a manager regarding this issue and she was to busy to talk to a patient. Although they were nice at the front desk they gave my child care without consent and didnt show me his treatment plan or come tell me they had to give him extra medication for numbing his mouth. They also didnt calle back regarding this issue. They just lost a family of 6 due to this. I feel this is a big issue to give child medication without informing parents and to try to take away the parental rights of a parent. I also find it very funny that all the sudden their policies changed towards the end of covid due to covid ,BS and the fact that I wasnt informed when the appointment was confirmed was just malicious. Im only giving them a three star because the staff is nice and I do very much enjoy one of the hygienists but other than that if you want your parental rights violated I strongly suggest going to this place.

They are so awesome! I have deep anxiety and I feel very comfortable with them! And, they let me come as emergency walk in whenever I need more adjustment to my bottom denture! Not to mention, I love to smile now! Btw, last name is Arntz. Just West on my Gmail yet, unfortunately.
Went in today to have teeth cleaned. No Doctor on staff. Dental Asst. Took my blood pressure with a wrist cuff. Reading was high. Wouldnt do cleaning. Went home, took blood pressure with good BP machine. Blood pressure was good. 135/72.I think that they need better BP readers.
Called numerous times to speak to a supervisor, stated its an emergency. Called the first week, was told someone would get back to me. Called the following week and was told the same thing. I am currently five months pregnant, so my oral health is of the utmost importance during this crucial time. I am definitely leary of any supposed business to conduct work on my teeth, if no one can even have the common decency to return several calls. Highly dissatisfied, will definitely be going somewhere where they respect their patients and their unborn children.
Unprofessional. Comments from staff included well, I wouldnt know what its like (to be you) cause Ive never had any problems with my teeth.. Staff never told me I would not be able to drink water for 4 hours after my flouride treatment until AFTER the treatment. Never offered water before it so I became dehydrated due to lack of care. Can site other grievances but have already reported it. Good dentist but poor staffing.
If you get Ruth, the Dental Hygienist. You lucked out! She is an amazing employee and makes sure to make you feel very comfortable while you get your cleaning. While being professional and aware. Had a mishap with a tooth during a Holiday weekend. Luckily I was able to be taken care of the first business day after the Holiday. Thorough services and out the door relatively quick.
All the people are very friendly, personable and professional. I am very happy with my experience. I would highly recommend this dental office to everyone.

Had three fillings done today and they are kind of rough feeling. Almost feels like they are not finished. How ever staff was very pleasant.
They were very kind to me. They had the latest technology to diagnose me and set up a good plan of treatment. Five stars!

Heather was my hygienist and she was fantastic! You can tell she genuinely cares for her patients and she took great care of my mouth, it has never felt this clean! Heather was also kind enough to share my problem areas with me so that I could take the time at home to take care of my teeth properly. I look forward to seeing her in August!
I broke my tooth in half, they squeezed me in a day later. Everyone was very nice, very professional, very helpful. I was very grateful for their expertise and assistance. The building was very clean, the office was clean, it was a very comfortable environment. I would recommend them to anyone.
On 02/01/2022 I had an appointment at My Community Health in Bay City. The ladies at the front desk, they always welcome me with smiling faces(under their mask of course). The hygienist is SUPER personable and does a phenomenal job at keeping you comfortable. She even used warm water to do my rinses because my gums were tender due to a problem tooth.On to the DENTIST! Heidi Merritt!! (She’s new) First off, she walks in the room and the hygienist pleasantly introduces the two of us. I respond “nice to meet you” with a smile. The DENTIST responds “ummm hmmm”. Next she literally squeezes my bottom lip VERY HARD (I’m 40 years old and I’ve NEVER had a dentist do this). Next, she’s being really rough after the hygienist told her that I was having pain on the lower left side. She kept poking and prodding with no regards to my pain. I had to stop her TWICE after the second time she proceeded to squeeze my lip!! She just walked out without even apologizing. I IMMEDIATELY told the hygienist that I would not be seeing her again. Her energy was negative upon first entering the space. (I’m empathic. I read energy very well).I drive 40 minutes from my home to come to this specific location and had I not been able to see another dentist, I would have NEVER returned!!Thank You to the ladies at the front desk for getting me another appointment with another doctor.Heidi Merritt would greatly benefit in some additional training on bedside manner, as well as diversity and inclusion. (Especially considering most adults aren’t particularly “fond” of the dentist anyway).My 4 stars are for the front desk personnel and Heather (Hygienist).
Today was my first visit with my daughter. I was so excited that they took my insurance. Everyone is extremely kind and helpful our hygienist Heather was amazing. She was very thorough told you what you needed to do and how bad things are or could be but not in a condemning tone. I will easily recommend this office to anyone.

Seen doctor today for periodontal disease w 2 teeth that needs pulled got me in next day. Now my sore teeth mouth and face pain will go away. Only problem I had was hygienist was rough w me taken xrays.
Loved my experience with the Drs and the nurses. Explained what they were doing and made sure I wasnt in pain and would stop if I was.
Everyone was super friendly and made me feel very comfortable. You can tell that they really care about their patients and take they took the time to explain everything in detail. They arent in the business of taking your money for unnecessary work and want to fix the problem at hand. I highly recommend them. By far the best dental experience that Ive ever had!

I haven’t been to the dentist in 13 yrs. I was so nervous going in because I had no idea what a regular cleaning was like. I’ve neglected myself for so long due to my own fears of the unknown. They all were so kind and I was talked through everything. I can’t remember who cleaned my teeth but she was so nice and I felt so much better after my appointment. Really happy I chose this office and I feel so much more prepared for my next visit.
This place TRULY helped me, I was stuck with a broken/snapped off to the root, rotting, infected baby tooth that no other place would touch. I had another broken tooth and quite a few other dental issues as well. For years I couldnt get any actual help, until I heard of My Community Dental from a friend. They took care of me right away and are still helping me now. My Community Dental is a place where REAL miracles can happen 🥰
The dentist is fantastic and her assistant is very professional and nice with a can-do attitude. I would give this place a five except for the receptionist who continued to make out going calls while I sat there and waited to reschedule my appointment.

I have bad anxiety and had to go get my tooth pulled. I was extremely anxious and the staff did a phenomenal job calming me down.
My appointment was at 2:40pm but I didnt get seen until 3:30pm. Waited over 3 months for my prior authorization to be approved, nobody called me when it did, or a letter in the mail or anything. The appointment before this one they waited until I got there and waited some more just to tell me to reschedule my appointment. Most of them are super nice. The lady at the front when u first walk in isnt that nice but oh well. 🤷🏼♀️

We got there early and they actually got us in! The staff is super friendly and efficient! My daughter (age 3) was so happy and excited when she left I was amazed! They did so well keeping her interest and explaining things to her so shed cooperate. And the bill was way less than I expected!
My 7 year old daughter needed a few fillings and crown, the staff and dentist were amazing! They showed patience and excellent communicational skills that set my daughter at ease in a comfortable and secured environment. They monitored her pain levels and made adjustments accordingly; great assessment, evaluation and treatment skills. I highly recommend them, especially with the pediatric population that may at times need/require a little extra help/guidance. My daughter was so pleased she wrote them a thank you card and drew a picture of herself brushing her teeth, they are great at motivating and educating our young and growing population with the importance of good dental hygiene practices.

I was thrilled to find a Dentist that could take me quickly.I got my x-rays and a partial cleaning.Was recommended that I have 2 extractions. It was 5weeks out.That appointment was cancelled.Rescheduled.I started developing significant pain. Called. Sorry,we dont have a dentist I.Called another Dentist. Had my first visit to this location for my 6-month cleaning and can honestly say it was the most thorough, detailed cleaning Ive ever had. Heather, my hygienist, was extremely knowledgeable and took time to explain what she was doing and why, as well as to go into detail on recommended care for several implants I had done years ago. A lot of dentists in my experience simply come in the room briefly to assess but Dr. Rayyan took the time to sit down, do a thorough examination, and answer all my questions. Sarah at the front desk was efficient & made scheduling my follow-up appointments super easy. Each team-member I interacted with was friendly, had a great attitude, knew exactly what they were doing, & came together to make it an overall easy & helpful experience, thank you!
I had my first visit at MCDC/Bay City today, and it was a very good experience. I had to leave my previous dentist due to a change in insurance, and they recommended this practice. Heather was my hygienist, and she was awesome. She explained everything she was doing, answered all my questions, and managed to get me through x-rays without too much difficulty. Dental x-rays are always very uncomfortable for me. Dr. Case was friendly and professional as well. I found everyone I encountered here to be friendly, helpful, efficient, professional. 5-stars for sure.For newcomers, the number you call may not have someone who is familiar with the Bay City area. I was initially told the office was located across from the Hampton Mall. Google the address and youll find it is located on Center Avenue, just past Livingston St. (as you head *toward* the old Hampton Mall) and is near the Dollar Tree, on the right hand side. I include this only because I have no sense of direction, and wouldnt want others like me (LOL) to find themselves in the wrong spot for their first appointment.
I took my 93 year old mother, who has recently been severely ill, to My Community Dental Centers in Bay City for an exam and to see if her dentures were fitting well. The effort they put into giving her x-rays, examining her and accommodating her age and infirmity was truly extraordinary. I left feeling well advised and my mother well cared for. We have scheduled a follow up with them, despite the fact we live out of town, because we were so pleased with our experience.

Waited for months for them to call to say the Dentist couldn’t accept Blue Cross insurance. Never heard from them, so I found a new dentist.
Kind, courteous and they did everything they could for me. Got me in quickly and worked on my tooth well over an hour. Made sure to get me back in Ina timely manner for my ins and before a vacation for my next visits. Great people with great sense of humor and bedside manner.

This was my first visit/experience with MCDC and I was nervous because I hadn’t been to a dentist in 2+ years. But from start to finish every staff member I encountered was friendly, helpful and made me feel comfortable with the whole process. Definitely a positive experience and I feel at ease returning in the future for follow up. Wish I would have known about them sooner!
Highly recommend. Very understanding and willing to work with patients to make them feel comfortable. My son is autistic and feels like the world is going to end when he goes to the dentist. I can not describe how traumatic the dentist is to him and how hard it is to get him to cooperate. However, even though he wont let anyone touch his mouth or look in it, he did very well with them at the evaluation and even let them look in his mouth (without touching). They arranged for him to be put under to do his dental work. If they can make him feel comfortable, anyone would feel comfortable and at ease.
Everyone was super friendly and made it less scary. The dentist is really good and you hardly feel the shots. She has a great bedside manner. The higentist was equally as nice and good at her job. Id definitely go back for further dental care.

Very little sense of urgency. I went in, in May knowing I needed root canals and caps on three teeth and it has now been post poned three times. The pain from these teeth is awful an Im on my third infection because of these teeth. Im very frustrated and in pain. Office is clean and sanitary from what I can tell and people are friendly enough just not very worried about anything in terms of preventing pain and needles tooth decay.
Absolutely the best!!! I followed Heather from the Mt. Pleasant office to the Bay City office. Heather has been my hygienist for years and I love her, she is so friendly and caring.Everyone else that I came into contact with today were just as amazing as Heather is. Thank you for the great service.

I have always had anxiety about going to the dentist, but that changed when I visited My Community Dental Center. The staff were not only friendly but they walked me thru the process and made sure to answer all my questions. They go above and beyond any dental office I have ever went to. From the receptionist to dentist, they are all so positive and ensure their facility is clean. I no longer have anxiety about going and that is something I never thought I would say.
I had been dreading seeing a dentist and was so pleasantly surprised by how amazing this place is. By far the best experience I’ve ever had at a dentist office largely because of how extraordinary the hygienist Heather is!!

The 3 times Ive been here, I was 10 mins early for my appointment and still had to wait in the waiting room for 30-40 mins. Other then that they are a good dentist and seem to really know what they are doing. Friendly staff as well.
I just had my first appointment yesterday.The staff is very nice and professional. They took the time to fit me in last second for a chipped tooth and also did a cleaning for me. They were honest and upfront about work I needed and what I was doing right. I recommend this clinic for any dental needs!
In one visit you will learn more about dental hygiene than you have in 10 years. The doctor truly cares about her patients. There are two assistants. They are so knowledgeable and will bend over backwards to make sure you get the best care. I drive my family 45 minutes to experience the best dental care around!

I went to the Saginaw office of my community dental and was happy with my visit there and I was unsure if I had made the right choice to go to Bay City. But the Bay City office blew everyone else out of the water! The people on the front were friendly to the children and their parents who were waiting. Then my experience with the dentist and the assistant was AMAZING! The dentist gave me a much needed pep talk about my teeth and was very nice and personable. Mandy, the assistant, shared her dental history with me making me feel more comfortable about being there. I have been to Bayside Dental, The University of Michigan Ann Arbor, Dental Dreams and Gladwin Dental to name a few places I have been but this was the BEST. They make you see that they truly care about you and your teeth. The dentist worked with me and saved a number of teeth that other dentists would have pulled. For that thank you! Sorry didnt want to get your name wrong. A+++++ I have Medicaid. They made me feel like I had the best private insurance available. Did not get treated like trash like I had been before. Thank you Mandy. Thank you my dentist. You guys are making a difference in peoples lives and so are your staff.
As of august 28th 2021 there xray machine is broken or the dentist read xrays wrong. They had 1,200 of work to be done on my sons teeth. Since no insurance i called a dentist closer and he went over the xrays and checked my sons teeth and said that he only had one cavity! Glad we had it checked out.

Im 61 yrs old, and, never could I have imagined a visit to the dentist to be so anxiety and stress free! Dont get me wrong I was terrified as I walked thru the door yesterday morning knowing I was about to have a whole mouth extraction! Dr. Anne and the staff were so kind! They had compassion for what I was about to endure! They walked me thru it, constantly reassuring me!!! They literally had me laughing more than once and I CANNOT thank them enough! Dr. Anne made sure this experience was as pain-free as possible. For this I was/am totally grateful. Well, its 24 hrs later and I feel super!!! Yes a little uncomfortable but after a procedure like this youd think Id be in immense pain. Nope! I cried my eyes out a few times sitting in that chair not from pain but at the thought of losing my teeth....they were right there with words of compassion and concern. I have NEVER in all my yrs met such an amazing team! Dr. Anne called and cked on me this morning herself....like WOW...just WOW!!! She cares so much for her patients, not just the physical but the mental as well. I just want to say THANK YOU! You guys are most definitely ROCK STARS!!! (Sorry this is so long 😊). So in closing (finally 😊) MCDC in Bay City is the cream of the crop! Thanks again!!!

Being pregnant and having a massive tooth infection, I thought they wouldnt be able to get me in for a while! They fit me in that same day and was able to extract the tooth the same day also! I am so thankful.

Wonderful people! I’m deaf and I’m afraid to going dental clinic until yesterday I have to be brave due tooth pain and went there and surprised one nurse can sign languages some of them and the doc name dr Ryanann best one and she took my tooth out and my pain is gone! Thank to dr ryannan and a nurse who treat me.

Very disappointing had to wait over 45 minutes just to pick up my dentures after taking two months to get them it was the end of the day arrived at 345 and wasnt seen till right before closing time which is 430 full staff but lousy customer service wasnt any other patients in the office at the time I was there very unprofessional just my opinion this was at the baycity location cant say all locations are this bad.

Was not impressed ,had to pay $180 up front then they only did $80 worth of work so their into me for the$100.Basically using my money til next appointment in November

The best aspect of this office is its staff and their willingness to do whatever they can to help you, and if they cant they will help you figure out what to do to get the help you need. Theres no judgment in this office. You walk in and theres an immediate sense of comfort and calmness. The front receptionist makes the whole experience 10 times better. I cant remember her name, but she definitely is one of the best people there. The whole experience will leave you feeling more optimistic about your smile. Keep up the good work guys. Your understanding and willingness to help those with emergencies is what sets you apart from all the other walk in dental clinics. Thank you.

2022-05-05I went in for my 6 month cleaning today. Not only was my hygienist thorough, but she was quick and made the experience very comfortable and personal. Because of her advice during my first visit I’ve been able to reverse a lot of my issues. Now I can smile proudly and without embarrassment. Thank you so much for everything you do!

2022-06-06I have avoided the dentist for too long due to terrible experiences with other dental visits. Today I was seen at My Community Dental Center and was blown away with their kindness, compassion and professionalism. Top notch! I am so impressed and so glad I chose them for this dental work I need done. Ruth was outstanding and made me feel like a person, not a number that she needed to rush out the door to get on to the next. She took her time to make sure I was comfortable and explain what she was doing and what we will be doing in the future visits. Thank you!

2022-05-11I am typically one to be terrified of the dentist, however, this facility has actually made me want to show up. Without anxiety. Ruth is very friendly, accommodating, and understanding of anxiety. She and I were able to discuss it and my experience there flys by. Teal, from the front desk, has always been very friendly and helpful! As a whole its a wonderful experience. Great with kids as well and very personable!

2022-03-02I am extremely pleased with my dental visit today. To start they got me in quickly and believe me I appreciate it very much. Cecelia was the assistant that helped me - she knew I was hurting & nervous. Cecelia did everything possible to help me to relax. I was concerned about the x-rays going in my mouth & she actually held them in place and asked another assistant to take the x-ray so I wasnt worried. Dr.Merritt came in and checked me over, talked about my treatment needed & ordered an antibiotic for me to start taking. I feel better just finally going to the Dentist, but they made me as comfortable as possible and now I look forward to taking care of my teeth the way I should have years ago. Thank-You.

2022-05-31Everyone there was AMAZING! After a miserable holiday weekend I traveled an hour an a half there for emergency dental care, cause my home town dentist kept putting me off for 2 months. I was in so much pain, Im allergic to narcotic pain meds and motrin wouldnt touch it..the staff here actually listened and went above and beyond to help me that day. I am forever thankful to them. I would recommend them to everyone.

2022-08-10Everyone was very nice. It was clean and I only had to wait 5 min in the waiting room. The only bad thing I can say is it takes a couple months to be able to come back and get the work done thats needed. I did call with a tooth ache and got in the next day. Overall a great experience.
