Comment: For the Kia Service Department.My Kia needs a recall - rather than have the parts on hand to do the recall, they require the customer to come in (I live 30 minutes away, so its an hour round trip, plus waiting for 2 hours while I was there)...just so they can inspect my car and order the necessary parts.Now, Ill need to come in for a second time to actually get the recall fixed.This might be convenient for the dealership BUT IT IS NOT convenient for the customer.Whats even worse is that they didnt tell me any of this when I left this morning. They told me I was done, and it was only later that I realized that the recall was NOT complete and that I would need to schedule a second appointment to to actually get recall done.It took 3 hours of my time this morning (including driving), and now it will require another 3 hour appointment plus 1 hour driving again. This will be a total of 7 hours of my time to get this simple recall fixed. (I live too far away to go home or back to work while I am waiting) This wouldnt be so bad if I were local.I wish they would be more considerate to owners who live further away, and have the parts on hand so we dont need to make multiple unnecessary trips.

Comment: I would never recommend a Kia. Mostly for customer service issues. Kia had my car a whole month because my car with 30,000 miles transmission failed so they had to put a new one. Then when they finally received my transmission, it took them another two weeks because they said they “ran out” of transmission fluid and had to wait to get the fluid.

There is a recall for USB port which disconnects every 5 minutes & service technician says maybe wrong cable or plug in (Ive bought & tried 5 cables!). Trunk rattles & on forums, everyone talks about the issue & technician said that it must be my things in truck (it is 100% empty!?!)

Comment: ZERO STARS FOR SERVICE DEPARTMENT. I wouldn’t waste your time at this location. No accountability, lack of transparency and ZERO hustle in the department which explains the long wait time for techs to service vehicles. Basic service at 3+hours wait time with an appointment. There really isn’t an excuse and if you speak to management the solution is to take your car without service being completed or of course to skip the complimentary quick wash if you wish to continue to camp out and wait. Freakin disappointing to say the least.

Comment: Just had one of the worst test drives ever. We started with one sales guy who was steering me towards an electric suv. When we heard about the range, we decided to forgo a test drive in that car and inquired about a stinger. He passed us on to a different sales person and this is where it went down hill. When we told him we were looking for a stinger GT2, he suggested a genesis. We looked at it and decided to take it for a spin. He took a copy of my drivers license then got in the back. I thought he did that because he needed to be with us to get some gas in the car since it had 23 miles left. And then after, he would let us take it for a test drive. No. That isnt what happened. He directed me literally around the block them back into the parking lot and waited for me to turn off the car. I asked if that was it and he said he needed to tell them we need fuel. So I asked again and he said yes. As soon as I turned off the car and started to get out he asked my HUSBAND if he wanted to talk about the payments? First, IM the one who would be buying it, second, Im not going to talk about a car that I only drove around the block, and third, we dont negotiate on payments. John needs to learn a few things about selling cars. I was done when he did that. Absolutely done. I was insulted and will not return. Ill drive a ways to another dealer so I dont have to run into him again.

There was no response. I must now conclude this seemingly professional reply to my review was not sincere and rather disingenuous. I would have been happier to just vent and share my experience, than being deceived into believing there might be a resolution after all.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------In October 2021 I ordered a 22 Sorento PHEV SX Prestige. I completed the spec selection on the KIA website and emailed a link to the sales associate (Jesse), with whom I also discussed the built thoroughly.About 6 months later, I received the happy news, my car had arrived, only to find out it had been ordered in the wrong color and wrong trim.When I pointed this out, the on-site manager (I believed to be Juana) did not even bother to talk to me in person and relayed to me the dealership always ordered vehicles as specified by the customer. I momentarily contemplated to go to the eye doctor to get checked for color-blindness, but then realized Juana probably did not care if I bought the car or went home unhappy, or both. At a later phone call, while still deciding what to do, she also mentioned other customers were already viewing my vehicle.I understand we are currently in a Sellers market. Making customers feel their business is not valued (even when buying a $50k+ vehicle) and being indifferent to their satisfaction level, might work in this market environment. It will certainly not be helpful when the market shifts in the future, which it inevitably will.I came back a day later and spoke with Eli, a different manager. Eli, at the very least, spoke with me in person, acknowledged the mistake, and offered an apology. As compensation for the mishap, he agreed to match the for-cash offer I had received for my old vehicle at an independent dealership as trade-in value, saving me the hassle of having to deal with two transactions.I ended up taking the vehicle as I did not want to wait another six months. In addition, another of my vehicles had just broken down and needed to be replaced asap. The finance person was great.Before I left, I advised the sales associate to order me the Sorento in the specs I originally wanted and to send me a confirmation. That never happened either. I dont think I will follow up on that and will go elsewhere.PROS- I was able to secure a current vehicle at MSRP- Professional finance transaction.CONS- Unprofessional sales associate, who ordered the wrong color and trim- A manager (Juana), who seemed rather indifferent to my satisfaction as a customer.

Yadira added a warranty that she NEVER discussed the price of with me. Yadira said it was complimentary. Fast forward four months of Yadira being unresponsive and never following through and dodging my calls, I finally get a refund. It was not for the full amount of $1050 I was charged, they only refunded $944. I would not recommend this dealer based solely on the dishonest and uncommunicative finance department.P.S. Spare me the request to contact you guys to discuss. My Kia has all my information and you guys can call me at any time or send the check of $106 with the amount that I was cheated out of.

Comment: Update: after our review the owner suggested we call the dealership. It took a while, but we finally got ahold of someone. She said she had never heard of what I was explaining about the two maintenance plan types, which was what I had been told by several of the kia dealerships where we now live. So I dont know who is right, but MY KIA was able to find a solution for us, which we appreciate very much. If you do plan to buy a maintenance plan and move a lot, I would ask a lot of questions before you purchase so this doesnt happen to you. We increased the stars to reflect that MY KIA did help us fix this issue.We bought a Kia from this dealership in 2019, including an extended warranty/maintenance plan. We had a good experience overall, Joel was our salesperson and was very kind and tried to be as helpful during the process as he could. We left a positive review, as a result. Two years later we moved and have found out that the maintenance plan we purchased is only good at this dealership. There are two types of plans, one that is good at every dealership and one that is only good at the dealership you buy your car from. We explained at the time of purchase that we move a lot for work and were assured this plan would be accepted at other dealerships. So we paid for a worthless plan and cannot use it. If you buy a maintenance plan, make sure to ask for one that is recognized everywhere. If it has the dealership info on the plan or booklet it is not universal and will not be accepted anywhere else, despite what they say.

He gave me regular progress reports until the repair was finished . In the front of the house Claudia couldnt have been nicer and had my wife and I in our loaner and on the road in no time. Tires were misquoted (for wrong trim with different wheel size), coupons I put in the key drop slip envelope went missing and couldnt be used, hard to reach someone by phone when my car was not ready on time, shuttle did not go to Marina but also no loaner or discount on a rental. I started taking my Optima to Seaside Hyundai instead (same engine as Sonata) and ultimately when it was time for a new car I was looking at a Kia Stinger but decided against getting another Kia since there was no dealership near me that I was happy with.

After waiting all day, my car was finished and I drove 1hr 30mins home to mail my paperwork to the DMV. After a few days the DMV notified me that that paperwork was not correct and I needed to head back to kia to get a piece of paper that they didnt give me in the first place. Very disappointed in the staff for not giving me all the paperwork needed after conveying my situation. My fault for trusting a car dealership, and being unaware of what is the correct paperwork.

Comment: I went to MyKia to have my Kia Forte antenna replaced. There was also a recall on my airbags that they offered to replace for free. I was happy with the customer service and everyone was very nice and friendly. I was also pleasantly surprised that they offered a curtsey shuttle that took me back to my home. I didn’t have an appointment that day, but they told me if I dropped my car off at 8am they might be able to squeeze me in. I was very happy when they called me at 3pm saying my car was ready. When I got there, I was charged $298 just for labor to replace the antenna! There is no way this could have taken more than an hour to fix. My boyfriend had already taken half the headboard off but was not able to get to the bolt, which is why I had to bring it in. I felt this was a ridiculous price to charge just for labor! When I got into my car after paying, I noticed the airbag light was on. I was a little confused because I thought they were supposed to fix the airbags. I went back into the store and told them. The tech took my car back and an hour later, my car was ready, again. I was incredibly frustrated because after paying $300 I would have thought they my car would be ready to go when they called. They said the airbag plug wasn’t connected all the way. Isn’t this something they should have checked after they installed the airbags in the first place? In the end, although everyone was very friendly, I would not come back to this dealership again based on the outrageous price they charge for labor.UPDATE: The company replied to this review, but when I reached out to hopefully resolve some of my issues, they never responded. I have not tried to contact them over email 3 times. This is very unfortunate and because of the lack of response, I am lowering the stars even more...

Let me explain...-Toyota offered him a 22% interest rate because he is a first time buyer with limited credit history on a 60 month term**My Kia gave him a loan @ 4.9%, they first approved him @2.9% but he had to run his credit twice due to buying the car a couple months later.-Honda added hundreds of dollars on his document preparation fees and tried to charge 9.75% tax***My Kia charged around 80.00 for document preparation and the normal 8.5% sales tax for his zip code.-Hyundai gave him a great interest rate, but again tried to charge 10.75% on the sales tax, and $224 on document preparation.***My Kia charged the correct amount.Other then this they did discount his purchase 600 to offset the 2% additional interest which comes out to $1000 over the period of the loan. His credit score dropped because of a previous application.Also they gave him a great over all sales price. Better then advertised.My Kia is killing it for their customers.We also have 2 pairs of floor mats in the car. So one will be returned-Taylor Smith & Issac OcampoThank You

I believe you shouldn’t have to wait that long especially if you schedule an appointment; not to include that it was a recall manufacturer error that brought you there in the first place. Everyone was polite, but the wait time was unacceptable.

Comment: I was in the market for a car last year after my old car got totaled.It was still early in the process, of course, so I couldnt commit to anything right now, but I still wanted to see what was out there. I decided to poke at Kia, and I was absolutely floored by the sales guy here.No pressure at all like most dealerships. Knew a lot about the cars he was selling. When I wanted to test drive a Forte, they had none on the lot, but the sales guy ran into the showroom and pulled one out for me to test even though I wasnt buying a car that day.Super easygoing folk here, would easily recommend.

Comment: Needed an oil change while visiting town and was very pleased with my experience here. Staff are all friendly and the service was pretty quick. They even offer a free shuttle to nearby locations while you wait!

Comment: I took my car this morning to get an oil changed cant find my store keys now... 100% sure i left the keys in the car... called the service desk and they told me theyll look to see if it turns out but told me that theres nothing they can do if it doesnt turn out.. Im not trying to blame everything on them it could of been someone else if the door wasnt locked when it was parked outside after the service but bottom line is i lost my keys and also asked for car wash never got one. If you do come here dont leave anything in your car!

Comment: Horrible service half the time when I ask to be transferred to the service department they dont pick up the phone. Also today called into get my car inspected for a road I plan on making this week but they arent doing any diagnostic or repairs till Tuesday then whats the point of being open on a weekend?

Comment: Rude manager. Wouldnt even check starting problem because I said Ithink it might be the battery because it was having problems starting. Then told me I never mentioned starting problem. Couldnt even show me the battery diagnostic to prove the battery was ok. A checked box saying it passed is BS. I also thought my car had ball joints and I thought the passenger rear was going out.. Didnt mention that it has bearings and struts and that my safety concerns were not to worry about. Because he was an idiot and doesnt have people skills. The TECHNICIAN was nice enough to come out and KINDLY let us know that everything was good to go and that I would be safe on the road. Thats why you get 2 stars instead of 1. Receptionist was rude, sat there for 5min doing her own thing.. No Ill be right with you or just one moment. Didnt even look up at us or make eye contact when she finally decided to help us.I drive 500 miles a week,and want to know that someone cares enough about my car keeping me safe. I didnt feel that here. I WONT EVER BE BACK.
