The Pickle & Chesse Bread sticks was amazing.
3.5 stars_ OK_ but nothing special_ seems 2 b a bit more expensive than other pizza places.-wasnt happy about delivery person calling me 2 ask if I could meet him in the lobby_ like taking the elevator is a chore? I wouldnt have ordered delivery if I didnt want it delivered 2 my door.The large, square, pepperoni pizzas were good.The double cheese stixs were disappointing and small__see pics_ a dollar bill is the same size as 4 of the stix.The bottoms of the boxes were not lined_ so greasy boxes.The pizzas were only good, the stix were less than ok, the prices a bit higher, the delivery person didnt want 2 deliver 2 my door__conclusion = I wont b ordering from them again_
I bought myself a heart shaped pizza because I LOVE MYSELF! ❤💙💜. It was fantastic. I dont normally eat a small pizza in one sitting but pssh its February 12th! TREAT YO SELF!Thank You My Pizza Place😁 Ill be back!
We bought a large 10 piece thin crust veggie pizza. We were very satisfied with the pizza but wished we would of bought the extra large pizza. Absolutely amazing! As far as the picture of the pizza it was so delicious that we didnt have time to take the before picture.

It goes without saying what a beautiful, and absolutely delicious dinner experience. We came celebrating Valentine’s Day, and boy did it deliver.
I can’t say enough how great these people are, you give what you get and these guys are turning into family, nothing but love and not to mention the food is great but at this point they can serve the worst food and I’d still come in just to laugh and joke with the fellas. The owner is a very humble nice guy and the guys working the ovens and lines are quality folks, thanks for being like family guys nothing but love from me- mike
Great pizza! cooked a little well done just how I like it ,not super greasy but it’s not dry either, just good ole fashioned pizza!!! ,they must use clean or new pizza pans too because the bottoms always nice & clean not black chard & crusty like most pizza places
Pizza is so yummy, garlic puffs are in point. One of the best ranch dressings Ive ever had. Always treated amazing even when I placed an order close to closing.
First time ordering pizza from this place as I have been on a quest to find a good pizza place since my go to closed across the street from me. Gave this a try ordering my standard pizza and it was delicious. The breads were great too. Cant wait to be back and try my other go to of wings.

Really good pizza at a really good price. So far I had a medium sausage, jalapeno and medium pepperoni, bacon. Both were great! I highly recommend Jasons Insanity crust with cajun added. I tried the pickle bread and thought the pickles were too light on flavor. But great pies, great prices, quality service.
Very good pizza. Toppings were plentiful. Added extra cheese but realized I didnt need to because there was already a good amount of cheese. Reasonable prices and friendly customer service.

Im happy to have such a great non-chain pizza spot so close to home. Always consistent and quality ingredients and its stated that way for the 5.5 years Ive lived in the Heights! Definitely try a saucy Sicilian style - its a square pizza with fried dough bottom and sides, sauce on top. I recommend the spicy (curly) pepperoni and insanity crust with it. Keep crushing it guys!
After seeing several posts on FB we had to try the pickle sticks and they did not disappoint. Also had ribs and pizza. Everything was great!
We love ordering from my pizza place! Especially during a pandemic, I believe its important to support local businesses and keep them afloat. However, I noticed I was charged a 6.99 (20%) tip on my bill after I left the store. I normally always tip cash and not on my card well today was no different. I filled my slip out with the price 34.95 with a zero tip due to tipping cash. So, I get home and get a notice on my card (text) for a 41.94 transaction from my pizza place. I looked on my customer copy and sure enough they took it upon themselves and added a 6.99 (20%) tip after I already cashed tipped 😒 It kind of bummed me out because we enjoy their food but we will not be ordering again from this place.
My husband and I were out running errands and decided to grab lunch. Were always looking for a place that has good salads. It looks like weve found it! The owner Jason was very nice, and helped us both decide which ones to order. Chef salad with ranch, and his infamous Michigan salad with the celery seed dressing were both DELICIOUS, and freshly made. Thank you for truly caring about your customers. First off, shout out to Jason (owner) . He was such a fun guy to talk to, and you can tell he cares about his customers and the food. He makes the visit worth while.Now, to the food. Our order consisted of: pickle sticks, a medium round BLT Pizza, and a small Chicago style pizza with ground beef, spinach, and onions (my normal Chicago pizza toppings).The pickle sticks...outstanding! They exceeded my expectations. Theyll be the staple of any order in the future.The BLT pizza...Amazing! The round pizza dough itself was very good. The bacon was delicious and generous! The usage of cherry tomatoes was interesting, and while some got picked off, they were overall pretty good.The Chicago style pizza...wasnt a fan. Granted, it could have been my topping choice, but I wasnt really impressed. Easily my least favorite of the 3.Overall, we will definitely be back. The pickle sticks were outstanding, and the BLT was amazing. Im looking forward to trying additional items from here!
They DO NOT honor their online coupons! They charge $13 for a 2 topping medium pizza. I expect that kind of pricing from a more high-end establishment. Not bottom of the barrel. What was their excuse? its an old coupon. Then why dont you take it off the website? How are online coupons old? I was willing to give them a chance and see how their $13 medium pizza would taste. Maybe it really was worth the price. What a waste of money. Its garbage. On the same level as Little Caesars.dont come here. Youre better off pretty much anywhere else.

Mom and Pop pizza places deserve to die out if this is the kind of quality they put out.There are some great hole in the wall pizza places, this is not one of them.Pizza is same quality as a caesars pizza but without all the conveniences or discounts.They will not honor any coupons on their website because theyre old but I guess wont make the time or effort to update their website to take said coupons off.Also they dont wear masks so have fun with that.Save your money and go somewhere else.
Just ordered for the first time today a large round 🍕, a meat lovers with extra sauce. Absolutely delicious! Loaded with all my favorite high quality meats, crust was not even flavored but still yummy and baked to perfection and the sauce was out of this world. I changed my review from 5 to 3 stars because the second time I ordered yesterday I was told my order would be ready in 10-15 minutes and it took close to half an hour, I know because I sat inside and waited. I asked for the butter garlic crust flavoring and when I got it home there was no flavoring on the crust at all. I called to tell them about this minor mistake and the guy couldnt remember if he had flavored the crust or not. They claimed no responsibility for the mistake nor offered any apology. So for the second time in a row they forgot to flavor the crust even though they say it comes free. Pizza was still delicious, though. I would recommend this place, but the customer service could use some work.
The square pizza was absolutely yuk. It seems like the dough never proofed and was flat and crunchy, kinda like roller rink pizza, everyone in the home agreed. The value of what I paid was just not on pair with the food. The round pizza is a pinch better, dough wise but the as my kids said the pizza sauce tastes like it came out of a chef boyardee kit. Not to sure if I would try them again after today.
We moved into the area a few years ago and tried My Pizza Place to feed our friends who helped us move. When I mentioned this to the person (I think it was the owner) working, he immediately said we needed pop too and it was on the house as a welcome to the neighborhood. I really value great customer service so that was big for me. On top of that, the pizza is excellent. This has been our favorite place for pizza ever since. I highly suggest the cheese bread and getting the works on your crust!
Omg!! So my husband and I ordered the specialty combo with a loaded dill pickle pizza ( first of all being able to get a large pizza, 16 piece bread stick and a 2 liter for only 21$ is insane) I truly believe that dill pickles NEED to be on EVERY PIZZA! This was one of the BEST tasting pizzas we’ve ever had!!! You NEED it in YOUR LIFE!!!!
Tonight we decided to order the loaded pickle pizza and OMG, its mind blowing! Absolutely delicious and the whole family loved it!We havent been disappointed yet. Forever fans on My Pizza Place!

Love this place. The wings are great and good size. My son likes the Louisiana Hot sauce. For the price, the amount of wings and size of them, it’s totally worth it. They have great pizza and the baked chicken is great too. They have my business, hands down.

I always go to Hungry Howies because it is decent and not too expensive. Tonight I decided to try My Pizza Place though, because it is so close to my house. It was slightly more expensive but I wanted to try it. I was definetly not disappointed. It was the best pizza i have had in years. Hungry Howies has nothing on them. Amazing!!! This is my first time trying My Pizza Place and I am IN LOVE! We had a huge order for over 100 people and the food arrived early, hot, and the entire order was EXACTLY what we ordered. Try the Bacon and Caramel pizza, it will change your life. Best pizza around and overall satisfying experience. I cant say enough great things about it! This is now my go to pizza place!
We love this place they have great pizza, great grinders and I just recently was given some wings to try from the owner with the Bourbon glaze sauce and they were phenomenal! The owner and staff are all very nice and pleasant to deal with also. This is my favorite place around for pizza and grinders! Keep up the great work guys see you soon!
I ordered a pizza from here on April 25th. It was my first time and I will not be back. While sitting in the parking lot and waiting for curbside pick up, I saw two employees inside not wearing any masks. The person who brought the pizza to my car was wearing gloves and a mask however it doesnt help if the employees inside the kitchen arent wearing them. The pizza was greasy, very soggy on the bottom and the toppings slid off of it as soon as you picked it up. Each slice was like this. My kids refused to eat it. I tried a slice just because I paid for it but it did not taste special at all. Ive had much better pizzas before. The only positive thing I can say about it is that it did have an adequate amount of cheese.
Great friendly staff, very tasty Chicago and Detroit style pizzas and some of the best wings and ribs Ive ever had.Im normally not a huge fan of ribs but these were fall off the bone incredible!

This is probably the best pizza and greek salad ive ever had NO SERIOUSLY! The pizza (Deep dish pep&chse) simple pizza but the sauce is AMAZING. And as for the salad it had great portions and thank you Pizza Place!
Ive ordered pizza here before. This is my Grand daughters review of the small pizza I ordered with just bacon Papa, I never saw so much bacon ever in my life. Needless to say thats a positive reaction. Lets not get that other kinds again. OK, no chain pizza.

First time there and was very pleased. I saw an advertisement for their Chicago style pizza and being one who loves thick pizza, had to try it. So glad I did, it was very good. Absolutely will be back for it again.
Best pizza in town. Seriously. The oner is so nice and so are the associates. They give off a caring and personal vibe that you dont get anywhere else really. Really good food, and really good services. Prices arent that bad, a large 1 topping pizza cost me $10. They make it fresh right in front of you, typically within 10 minutes. This place is a must go if you want pizza!
I have read some of the reviews for My Pizza Place on here and found many to be a bit ridiculous. Some poor reviews were valid in regards to refunds and delivery issues. However, my recent order was my first with this restaurant. I found the staff to be very friendly and they are proud of their pizzas! Really like the confidence there! I found the pizzas I order to be very satisfying to say the least. I would definitely rank them right up there with Cloverleaf, Shields and some of the other more respectable pizzerias in that class. You could probably get better pies at Buddy’s or Pizzapapolis, but you’re going to pay for it. For the money, My Pizza Place is amongst the best I have experienced so far! I absolutely recommend! Ordered the Super Deal with two large, extra cheese, extra sauce, pepperoni, bacon and mushrooms pizzas with the Works crust. Also came with 16 cheese stix (not the best I’ve had but pretty tasty!) and a 2-liter pop, all for about $35 bucks. Give them a shot!
Their pizza is delicious but the real winner here is the cheese bread. I 100% recommend this place to everyone I meet. The staff is amazing as a bonus! Nothing beats the cheese bread though, nothing.
Friendly, great pizza, hard workers. I like the cheese bread, and the spinach/artichoke/feta pizza. Wings are great too, bourbon & cajun are my favorite so far. Also, their ranch tops Jets, idk how... but it does.
My first experience. Just got a large cheese and mushroom. Friendly on the phone and in person. Pizza was better than i expected, and good price. Id go a little heavier on sauce, but thats just my personal taste. Great job, will be back to try more :)
I have tried pretty much everything on the menu and I have yet to be disappointed! The thin crust pizzas are great, rubs the best ice ever had! Great selection of salads that are different that your average pizza place. Love to staff too! Great people!
Ordered a delivery three hours ago and still have not received it. when we called about our order, the staff was very unhelpful. We asked to just get our money back, but we were told they couldnt do that because they didnt know how. We were promised a new order in half an hour, but an hour later we still hadnt received our order. We should have just gone to the store and demanded our money back. We will never order pizza from this place again.

Usually the pizza here is just pretty good. Yesterday it was markedly better. Maybe because Toraminos just moved in, (about 1000 ft. away), and theyre worried about the competition? I dont know, but if they keep up the good work Ill keep coming back.
Just received our carry out order and I am not pleased with order accuracy and quality. We ordered one large 1-topping square Sicilian style pizza, 10 Garlic Parmesean Baked Chicken Wings, 1/2 slab of ribs, a medium Cobb salad w/Poppyseed dressing and a full Sub w/an extra side of Italian Dressing.My friend really liked the pizza, (I didnt eat it so I cant speak to the flavor). Next, the Garlic Parmesean wings were very, very tender however, they were very, very salty for my taste and inedible. My friend said the wings were just meh. There was definitely minced garlic on the wings but lacked parmeaean. They were promptly pushed to the side.The ribs were for my friend and he did not like them at all. The ribs were falling-off-the-bone tender however, they were extremely fatty. Ive never seen baby back ribs that fatty before. My friend thought the ribs were beef ribs because they were so fatty and meat looked a tad dark with the texture of beef. After I looked at one of the bones, it did look like it was pork baby back. Nonetheless, he reported the ribs were not smoked ribs from the grill but seemed par boiled, baked and were very fatty and chewy.The medium Cobb salad was packed with grilled chicken and real chopped bacon on top, however it was thrown on top of the tomatoes, cucumbers, onions and cheese and the presentation wasnt the greatest. Additionally, my friend ordered the Poppyseed dressing for the salad but incorrectly received Michigan Cherry Dressing instead. My friend wasnt wild about the dressing as it was sweet and not to his liking however, he did say the salad was good & tasty regardless.I ordered the Sub and my sub was toasted...and pretty well toasted at that. The bun, meat and what seemed the cheese was toasted crispy. The bun was a lil hard and the cheese was thorouhly toasted into the hard bun. There was was a pinch of cold lettuce, some tomato and a bunch of raw onion. I expected the entire sub to he cold, hence the reason I didnt order a Grinder instead. Also, I ordered an additional 3oz. side of Italian dressing (.95¢ extra) and it wasnt in the order. I gave my sub to my friend because I didnt want that hard toasted sub.I called to state the issues with the order and was told that the subs are toasted unless asked to be left cold. Well sir, you need to put that on your menu so people know that before they order or ask the customer if they want sub cold or toasted when they place the order.Pizza Place wouldnt deliver the corrected order because the address was too far, however they did offer a replacement salad on our next carry out order. Humph. My friend likes thier pizza so he will be back. I on the other hand, will not order from this place again.
Extremely good pizza, never disappointed with the food. Were so glad weve experienced this place, they are very consistent with the quality of the food, Unlike many places around the area. Every time we call I usually have no general idea of what I want, and they are not impatient with me nor make me feel like im rushed to place my order. Always friendly and helpful. I ordered a salad and had my husband pick it for me as I had just had surgery. It was less than impressive. I called to vent and the owner apologized profusely. He made me another salad and delivered it to my door! Fabulous food and amazing customer service!!
You can tell the pizza is made with real TLC, quality ingredients, and no corners cut. My son loves the BBQ chicken pizza, its very tender pieces of real chicken breast meat. Whenever we are in the area we make it a point to order up one of their pies!

Called 45 minutes before they close to order cheese bread they said it was too late to place a carryout order.. didnt know it took that long for a small cheese bread, seems like someone was too lazy and wanted to go home. had it before and the pizza is good though
In my opinion they have one of the best Chicago style pizzas in the area. The cheese sticks are as good as or possibly better than Jets Pizza also. You cant go wrong here
I had this pizza and it is beyond the best in town. Ive had pizza from just about everywhere in the metro-detroit area, and My Pizza Place is literally now MY pizza place! I will be going there every time i need catering. They cooked for a party of over 100+ and EVERYTHING was AMAZING. Friendly staff, and right on time, i would recommend My Pizza Place become YOUR pizza place.
Sorry but I dont understand the hype. I am new here and I see Michiganders must except low quality everything from their roads to their pizza. This has to be the 5th pizza place that we tried locally that had good reviews but when we get the pizza its ALWAYS overcooked to the point of being burnt with inedible hard crust. Hows that 4 or 5 star pizza??? 4 or 5 star pizza has a good crust thats not hard or burnt when it comes out of the oven, with a great sauce, great melted gooey cheese that doesnt dislodge from the crust between bites with great quality and quantity of toppings.The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the guy on the phone was really nice however somehow he got bacon mixed up with pepperoni 😒. This whole area from the potholes to the food shows that people here will tolerate anything geez never been somewhere that has all of this going on sheesh!👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

I just ordered a large pizza and cheese sticks, and when I did the guy on the phone seemed like he hated his job first of all, couldnt even greet back properly I was gonna hang up and just say forget it, but I saw okay reviews and wanted to try food out. After I order he asks if I would like to tip the driver, why dont u leave that up to me when I sign the receipt instead of asking! Than when I receive food I seen on box free flavored crust... well if Ive never ordered from there before u would think they would ask you What crust would u like but they didnt! When I called and asked why wasnt I informed he goes, well we have flyers and a website to let u know? Well what if I didnt see it in your flyer or website or I never even looked at it... THEY SHOULD ASK REGARDLESS!! He was rude and didnt even offer anything or something atleast. Bad customer service, I said I would be putting a bad review up because they dont know how to treat customers he said okay, so guess they dont care. What a shame. 20 dollars wasted to a facility with bad attitude!
The pickle bread is amazing. The pizza is great. And the ribs are pretty damn good as well. Very happy with them and finding them.

The only reason why I am 1 star is because the pizza isnt that bad. If it was up to me, Id give zero stars just because of the blatant lack of effort.I ordered at 6oclock PM. Thought itd be nice to order from someplace that wasnt a chain pizza place. The guy that answered sounded like he wanted nothing to do with me at all. I make a simple order. They tell me 45 minutes to an hour which I wasnt mad about - even though I live 2 minutes away. But then one hour passed and then 2 hours pass. I call the store back and ask whats going on. A different guy who answered the phone said the delivery guy should be here any time. So I give it another chance. I wait another 20 minutes and still nothing.I call the store a final time asking for my money back, and whomever I talked to seemed hesitant on getting me my money back, he said the driver was at my building door trying to buzz my apartment, but no one would answer. I just moved to this area and I have no idea what may or may not be wrong with my buildings communication system. I tell the guy on the phone that I didnt hear anything or see anyone pull up to my buildings parking lot. (I was actually watching out the window to make sure something like this didnt happen) and I go back to asking for my money back. The person said that he didnt know how to reverse the transaction and said he had to call someone else to figure out how to do it.So I gave them another chance and ask them to just remake it and send it back. They told me 30 minutes, I was pretty mad about this, but I accepted it. 35 minutes later, I get a phone call (which I probably shouldve gotten the first time the driver was outside my building) saying he was outside but my room buzzer doesnt work. I go downstairs and see no one. So I wait outside for 10 minutes waiting to see this guy after giving him pretty specific directions. Still dont see him. He calls me back, tells me he had the wrong address, and proceeds to walk down the road to try to find me. I ended up walking to him instead.Food isnt bad though. Its actually pretty good.
Food can fluctuate from good to excellent, lending to occasional inconsistency. Overall the pasta and other non pizza items tend to be really very good. When the pizza is right it cant be beat.

Got the ribs last night dinner omg top shelf and found my new favorite cole slaw. Pizza is really good too.
TERRIBLE customer service. I ordered a pizza to my job FCA, they came but NEVER CALLED ME . They only sent a text , I came outside and they were no where to be found. I called and asked can they remake my order since a hour has past since they claimed to have delivered it and the delivery driver who is also the manager had a very nasty attitude about it remaking my order. They agreed to redeliver the cold pizza . never conduct business with this place.

2022-03-20Ordered today 3/20/22 and got a pizza and the bread sticks. Everything came in a timely manner and the pizza was hot and fresh. The pizza was absolutely delicious and one of the best pizzas I’ve had in awhile definitely with every penny. Huge plus for arriving as hot as it did though it helped its only 1 mile away but still. All the toppings I got on it tasted fresh as well. Much better pizza then I personally thought it would be. I will be getting pizza from here again.On the other hand the bread sticks were just okay , not terrible or nasty but they weren’t anything special in my opinion. The pizza was so good I’m still giving 5 stars!

2022-01-08My husband just said this week the pickle pizza is the best pizza he’s ever had, of all time. We are 2 months new to MPP 💚🍕🥒 and have had lots of pizza, near and far. It is EXTREMELY well done, complex. 5 stars!!

2021-11-18We ordered from here for the first time on customer appreciation day. The staff was super friendly from ordering to pickup. The pizza crust had a nice crisp too it. The ingredients seemed to be of good quality. The overall pizza itself was just ok but i will be ordering again as they have a huge menu and somethings look fantastic. Plus the staff is friendly and lately there just isnt alot of that going around.We returned to try the cheesy detroiter which when you get it looks exactly like the picture but it isnt eatable. It was extremely hard to bite through and chew. The pickle bread was ok but i wouldnt order either of these again in the future. I would usually never throw out pizza or have leftovers but this just was not great at all. First time in years of throwing out pizza. The idea sounds great but the end result is terrible. Maybe with the lack of ingredients available they changed something but i hope it changes back soon if this is the case.

2021-03-06First time here. Just tried the loaded pickle pizza, best pizza I have ever had. ❤ I am making this my new one stop ship for all things pizza related! Ate it so fast we almost didnt get a picture! The bread and crust was superb. The sauce was unique and flavorful. The overall texture and composition of the pizza was perfect. 👍

2022-03-19Is now My pizza place lol. Their Chicago style deep dish is Amazing! There is a reason they have been in business for almost 50 yrs. Sad to say I just discovered them. Forget the box place pizzas 🍕 this place is Amazingly delicious!!

2021-01-23Google ratings do not meet my standards. I rate this place 4.5 stars. Here’s the run down. Found this place online. Headed over there to check it out. Pull up and a guy is out front with pizza shirt on. Sweet ! His about his business. Kinda roll down the window he greets me. (Inside is closed Covid-19 ) nice guy. I read the menu and wasn’t that happy with it. There is to much information. If you do pizza best put it right in our face. Needs to predominately be pizza choices with more pizza photos. Menu needs work. I call the number another guy answers. He seems a little burnt out and he couldn’t hear very well. I was looking for advice from him on what to order. What’s unique ? What’s new ? What are you know for ? Not much input or even a suggestion. He recommends cheese and pep. To cheer me up. Ok fine. I order round cheese and pep, square cheese and bacon, and something I haven’t seen. Pickled cheese bread. Not a huge pickle fan but I had to try it. Place was pretty busy so he has some regulars for sure. The crust of the square was good, the cheese was also good. However the round was the better of the two. Shockingly the pickled cheese bread stole the show. I probably liked the bread a little more than the pizza. I didn’t think that was going to happen. On the negative side they put the ranch in the box so it gets hot. Nobody likes hot ranch. Overall rating is 4.5. They did a good job and I will update the next time I’m in the area.
