Wonderful and scenic place. The office is running limited hours temporarily, but the atmosphere and scenery of the park make it a nice place to visit and for a picnic. The historical center is currently closed and the hours are from 1:00 to 3:00 PM weekdays. This also is the office to register for the county dog park on Hines Drive near Merriman Rd.

This nature center was so fun! All of the exhibits were interesting and the dioramas were so detailed. I learned so much about the Rouge area history and about the wildlife in the area. This nature center isnt only for kids, everyone can enjoy it. Then there are dozens of trails that you can take all over the Rouge watershed.

Stopped to waste time. So happy we did. Kids explored, took lots of pictures and learned a little bit of the history of the mill. Great place.

Donation based. Great spot to bring the kids. Many interactive displays for children. Live snakes, turtles and fish. Popular Pokémon spot with 4 stops. My son loves the mill display on the top floor, he enjoys pushing the button to make the water flow.

The whole area is really nice. There is a place to rent bikes if you didnt bring your own. Lots of nature. I saw a turtle just walking on the path when I was there.
