Food is good. Perfect place if you’re missing dead friends or relatives. Inside feel and looks like a funeral home, it’s like the staff is in mourning. The only reason why most don’t return. It feels like you just went to the funeral and left the burial site and now we going to her pla. ce for food. Definitely depressed the rest of my day.

I rode past this place & stopped today never been there or heard of it but baby the food is sooo good ...I think it’s black owned too I had the ribs & chicken ...my husband & I was very satisfied

2021-07-21Ive been craving soul food and I stopped in to check out Nannie Bs. The food was everything Ive been wanting in soul food. Quality and quantity for very reasonable prices. I will definitely be back.

2022-08-08This Food was amazing seasoned to perfection the greens just melt very tender, the yams OMG not to sweet and not mushy the dressing taste like holiday time so good and the meatloaf was very good Mrs.T. your grandmother and mother taught you well .No more going to Motor city soul food PS.THE PRICE IS RIGHT TO .YOU WONT GO WRONG

2022-07-03First of all, I’m a foodie who is a harsh critic of food. I have a list of restaurants for every state in the nation including Toronto and Montreal! With that said, let me just say that I have never, ever, EVER left a review before but this food is so good, I had to vouch for this place. I’m from NYC but my whole family has southern roots so I know good soul food when I smell and see it! I was in Detroit for a baseball game and know to never come to Detroit without trying some good ol fashioned/down home soul food. Disregard the location or the spot it’s housed in and just be concerned with how good the food is and how nice the folks are! This food meets and exceeds the standard for soul food! The brother outside in front is grilling the ribs and the tender taste is to die for and I don’t even eat pork!! I’ll say it again! I don’t eat pork! In fact, I asked if they had beef ribs but when you go to a place that’s named after someone’s grandmother, you know the food is good so I dove right in! The ribs are finger licking good! The dressing tasted like my aunts cornbread stuffing! The Mac n cheese met the standard! The collard greens were legit! The chicken wings are legit! I am only in Detroit for 2 days and I might pick up something else from there!Only thing missing was a banana pudding or a bread pudding to cap it all off!Please support this place! 2022-05-22Typical of some of our Black owned businesses listing hours their open and u waste your gas only to find out theyre closed. Nothing but a car full of drunks parked on the sidewalk in front of the business.

2020-12-11Its been a long time since I ordered food so well prepared I didnt have to add anything. Seasoned perfectly. 💯. I ordered a special, Ribs, Catfish, and Chicken wings. My wife had the Fried Pork Chops. All of it was awesome. The staff was kind, and courteous. Great experience.
