Movie started, no picture, just sound, until my husband went and told someone, 10 minutes into the movie. No appologies, no start movie over. And to begin with, the movie started at 9:40 when it was supposed to start at 9:15. Very few people there, so none of this was because they were busy.
My son and I go to this place a lot. We try to go to the matinees because it is a little cheaper. The prices are pretty much the same as most theaters in the area. The seats are comfy and the facility has always been clean every time we have gone. Staff is friendly and courteous. Great place to watch a movie.
The theater and lobby were clean, and the staff was pleasant. The concession stand prices were outrageous, just couldnt make myself pay $4.00 for a bottle of water.Id still go back there for another big screen movie experience, especially for matinee showings where there is no one else in the theater.
Love going to this cinema, it’s local, less expensive than GR and nice staff. What I won’t buy any more and this really disappoints me,is the popcorn. The last few times we’ve went it’s been bad. It’s not hot or fresh and it was a lot of crumbs rather than popped kernels. No butter, even though I asked for extra. So sad, this is the best part about going to the movies instead of watching from home.
I went by myself before work thee other day to see godzilla verses king kong. I just moved to the area and I love this small town and the theater was so cute and cozy! The staff was super nice and loaded my popcorn with butter exactly how I liked it! Ill definitely be coming back :) oh and I love how they always throw in a couple back in the day movies. Makes me smile!
Really like this theater, but still a little bit pricey for what it is, and really cant even get a paper cup for some water for the kids. I dont want to buy a bottle of water would even settle for a drinking fountain, anyway the staff is generally friendly and its very clean, just the water thing pisses me off, Northstar cinema will sell you any size cup of water for .25 and you can have all the refills you want, or they have drinking fountain with good pressure in the lobby.
The movie prices are good and the same as others. The concessions on the other hand are outrageous. They got rid of all combos and jacked prices. We took our family of 8 to a matinee. The cost of the tickets were $46 and the cost of concessions was $61! I ended up spending $107 to take my family. I will never be getting concessions again!
I liked The Lion King. I would have enjoyed it a lot more if not for rude, inconsiderate people who insist on turning on their cell phones every few minutes and their cell phone lights distract me and others from enjoying the movie. Please! If you cant stay off of your phone for a lousy two hours, then STAY HOME! 2 people in my row and 1 in the row ahead me were guilty of this. 😞
The sound was really terrible to be honest...and the prices were outrageous for such a SMALL and outdated theater. The staff was less than thrilled to be working and their lack of any effort what-so-ever was overwhelming to say the least...not impressed and really wished for a small town like Greenville that this place would amp up a little more and put more emphasis on a paying customer overall experience.
Went to see Avengers Endgame last night. Had to switch theaters due to a broken projector after the film failed to start. Unfortunately this is not this first time Ive had to switch theaters, in fact it happens quite frequently. Arrived early to get decent seats in the middle towards the back, only to have to switch theaters and ended up sitting towards the front and on the side. Meanwhile the people who came last minute that were sitting up front got out of the original theater first and got to improve their seat location. Worst than that was the fact that the movie wasnt centered on the screen. You could tell because text was cut off on the sides of the screen. Add stale popcorn to the equation and its just not worth it. Id rather drive the extra 15 minutes from my house and go to GR next time.
One of the best movie theatres Ive been to, ever! Small town theatre, so the prices are unbeatable. Tickets are still around 6.50 and youre likely paying 10 at Celebration in GR. To me, this is the best theatre...simple and cheap, not lacking anything! Also one of the only places to go in Greenville other than Meijer
The concession stand closed down an hour into a three hour movie. Asked for a dish to share popcorn and told we could buy a bag for $1. I work at a place that sells those bags for less than a penny a piece! No way to get refills of drinks or popcorn, and the staff is smug and rude and refuses to do what they promise. I never expect someone who calls themselves a manager to argue with me when I point out a disservice. This cost us just as much as theaters with reclining seats, do it yourself drink refills, and a concession stand that stays open longer. We will be taking our family of four weekly movie night elsewhere.
This was the review it continued to not allow contact with on the NCG Contact link online... my submitted request has been spinning for 4 hours. Now for everyone. My daughter, her friend and I entered the Greenville (MI) NCG theater at 3:20 PM for the advertised 3:30 PM showing of The Lion King and were given printed (and, according to the ticket, non-refundable) passes to the 2:30 showing of The Lion King. By the time we had our seats, an entire hour of the movie had been played; I did not choose to cause a scene with two 8 year old children in my company, so chose to patiently wait until now to raise my concern. The Greenville theater has always been very good to us, but I feel very let down now... I dont wish for a refund, but would appreciate very much if there were some way for the theater to make right this situation. We have attended countless movies at this location, and would much like to do so in the future. This could be the dealbreaker without a resolution.I dont typically do this, but await a response toward a resolution so we can continue our mutual relationship-you as provider, me as patron.
Nice theater with reasonable ticket prices. Its great to have the Real 3D so close to home and not have to drive into GR. Staff has always been exceptionally friendly and helpful, even once refunding my full ticket price due to some unruly kids in the theater that ruined the experience.
My wife and my parents went to see Dunkirk. We ordered the tickets and our soda and popcorn from 2 different cashiers. My wife and I received our soda and popcorn but my parents received just their tickets and the person started waiting on the people behind us. We told him and he just kind of gave us a blank stare so the 2nd associate got my parents stuff. We went and sat down, and the movie started about 15 minutes late. The movie starts and and its extremely loud. To the point where we had to cover our ears because the gunshots were making my ears ring, thankfully they turned it down a bit. We were toward the end of the movie and they lost power. Unfortunate I understand, but no one came in to tell us what was happening or that they were working to fix it or anything. So I went back out to let them know it needs rewound and the lights are on. The blonde kid just kinda had a blank look on his face and the 2nd associate just said, we lost power. No apology no were fixing it, nothing. So the video comes on again after about 5 minutes and they never rewound it and the lights never got turned off again. After all this we spoke to the manager and each of us received a free movie pass to ncg, which is why I gave it 3 stars. Thank you to the manager that looked like he was stressed to the max.
Overpriced for the lack of service. Paid over $40 to watch a movie with concessions that we werent able to get refills on after being told that we would because the concession stand closed 15 minutes after the last movie started, which started at 7:35pm. We also asked for a container to share our popcorn with and was tokd that it would be a $1 more. Called and talked to a manager and was told that there was a sign up stating that and I dont know why anyone would tell you that (in reference to the refills that we were told we could get) . And for the record that sign wasnt up when we went in. For the same price we can go to a theater that has reclining seats, DIY drink refills and a way to refill your popcorn after a movie that lets out a little after 8pm. So we will be taking our family of 4 somewhere else.
My husband was purchasing his ticket and the cashier laid down his rewards card while ringing up his purchase when the transaction was complete he stated that he couldnt apply the points to the card because he was done ringing it up my husband asked to talk to the Manager Lindsey who told him that nothing could be done and that it was his fault because he should have made sure the cashier rang it up correctly she didnt even offer to void the sale and start over but said to be more careful next time
This is the second time in 2 months that others were ridiculously disruptive.Last month it was a guy with a phone. This week it was Bohemian Rhapsody and mom who brought her 3 toddlers to the show. The lights when down and the 4 year old screamed, “is it done yet?”.Up and down, jumping on chairs, whining, crying and the mom talking to her.In both instances management was like, “sorry”...“We didn’t see it ““I don’t know”After 60$ or more every time we go, we will no longer go here.
Great small town theater. Most movies are only $6-ish a ticket. I like their popcorn more than Celebrations, and I think I pay a couple bucks less for a large combo here than at Celebration. You get a large popcorn bucket, rather than the medium-ish sized one Celebration gives you (they charge you $1.50 more for a bucket there). Coke products rather than Pepsi (I like either). I have zero complaints about NCG Greenville.

2022-04-03First time experience! Its set nostalgically so if you want modern updated this is not the place for you. I found it refreshing to be pampered with not having self serve. Can pick my seats which were comfortable the surround sound was amazing the movie was the best n exactly how I hoped it to be so my experience was great! Staff was friendly customer service was very professional polite helpful answering my questions as well kept theatre clean. Would recommend.

2022-06-13Went to see the new Jurassic world movie on opening day, I thought if we went early we would avoid the rush, unfortunately I didnt think about people bringing their small children, why would you bring 4 small children to a movie like this?? They never sat down and they were constantly putting their hands over their ears, the 2 women with them were giggling and watching their kids running up and down the isle, they were also on the phone and talking to each other the entire movie, I cant imagine why someone would pay that much money to NOT watch a movie? Why were they there then? If it was to give us and anyone behind them a bad experience then they accomplished that! Normally I love NCG experience and it really wasnt the theaters fault I had a bad experience, just wanted to warn others think twice before going to an early show during the summer!

2022-08-21Dont care for the new choose your own seat chart. On a computer screen you have to choose where you want to sit before they will let you enter the theater. Also it was hard to hear. The volume seemed very low.

2022-05-28Be sure to show up to each show approximately a half hr late so uou can bypass the 30 plus commercials youre going to have to watch before you get to the feature presentation. I will be bringing headphones to every movie i watch after this one. Guarentee it
