Comment: Update: I’ve worked with Charlotte and she and NCPA made sure my information and rates were all correct. I actually still have them 2.5 years later. Hopefully their onboarding process has improved!IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THEM. I recently moved from the east coast to San Diego and purchased a vehicle from Hertz. The Manager - Chico told me that all cars must be insured before they are sold, so he recommended this pathetic company to me. The night we initially tried to establish a relationship I was in the dealership for an extra TWO HOURS as there seemed to be an issue with their system, as their credit card system wasnt processing, and their fax machine wasnt receiving documents. So 3 weeks later my mailbox is flooded with at least 15 pieces of mail from two separate insurance companies. One has my info listed totally incorrectly and the other says I owe a balance...WHAT? So then I call thinking im going to get clarity, and I got a very disgruntled reception from Mary who happens to be the owner from my understanding. She continuously interrupted me and the break in communication could not have been worse. I told her to email me the alternative facts she was relaying trying to explain this ludacris situation and then she says she needs to contact the insurance company first, which solidifies that she did not know what she was talking about over the phone in the first place. I am canceling my service and contacting the Better Business Bureau as soon as possible. I never have experienced unprofessional behavior to this degree. Please do not do business with them, as I would hate for someone to have to go through what I am having to go through because of their mistakes......

Both women have excellent customer service and do their job very well. Any time I have a question they get back to me as soon as they can. Charlotte also has continued to stay up to date on my policy and makes sure I am getting the best rate possible. She recently switched my policy for me and saved me $20 a month on my insurance! Comment: This place was absolutely amazing! They were the difference between me getting my new car or not.I was at a Toyota dealership, trying to trade in my car for a better one, and everything was going great. That is, until I was told I had to upgrade my insurance from liability to full coverage.I wasnt too worried at first, but when I spoke with my agency they told me my insurance was going to more than double in price no matter how high or low I made my deductible, which gave me a heart-attack and almost made me change my mind about getting the car.Then, the dealer said he knew a guy that could help me out and gave him a call. The guy was Joseph Melita, who was one of the nicest people Ive had the pleasure of speaking too. He said he would run a quote and call me back. Five minutes later, he calls back and says that he got me price that was only $39 more than I was paying for LIABILITY. Might I add, at the same insurance company that Ive been with. The other insurance agency doesnt have the magic touch this one has. I suddenly felt like my day was saved, and future was brighter with a more reliable car.Also, Charlotte (the one who helped us out when we got there) was extremely nice and made sure we left happy. We were in and out before we knew it with better, and cheaper, insurance. Her dog was very cute too, which entertained my girlfriend while we were there.I look forward to doing business with them for years to come, and wish them the success they deserve in the future.

Comment: Ive been working with the team at NCPA almost three years. When I first got my car they were able to help me get a the perfect coverage at great competitive rates. Some details changed in my coverage and I actually got a text messages from NCPA alerting me. I called the office after hours and Mary Ann answered providing me with immediate solutions, we arranged to meet on a Sunday afternoon to change me coverage. Every time I call somebody answers, their follow up is immediate, they make themselves available to work withyou and they are always friendly and warm. I love that they area family owned/run business and I love knowing that I am supporting a mom & pop it truly shows in the service they provide. I always feel so taken care of- 100% five star service!

Comment: Whelp. Ill start by saying at least a stupid mistake I made wasnt as catastrophic as it could have been had it not been for these fine folks. I recently moved to the San Diego area and purchased my auto insurance policy with NCPA. I have to admit I wasnt really expecting the level of service I got, but I have no complaints whatsoever. (Having someone actually go out there, helping me every step of the way was something Im definitely not used to, but its a -very- welcome improvement over my previous insurance service provider.) The fact I feel comforted in knowing Im 100% getting the best rate possible is something that sets these guys above the rest. Now, the stupid mistake I made which, to be honest, really drove home how great of a deal these guys provide. One too many beers and I hit the road, which I should have never done. Carlsbads finest caught up with me rightly so my wallets a lot lighter than it used to be... Not proud of it at all, but even in that self inflicted nightmare, they gave me the best possible rate. The agent I worked with, Charolette was so helpful, honest, up front, understanding and heavens above... PATIENT. To say Im happy with my choice is an understatement. I owe her and the amazing folks at NCPA many thanks for their care in making sure I dont have to pay a cent more than I have to.

They are very military friendly, and I was extremely impressed every single time I worked with them on their level of professionalism, dedication and honesty. I always felt that I could 100% trust I am getting the best rate and coverage. Joseph, Maryann, and Charlotte are a pleasure to work with and answer my emails and phone calls very promptly even when it means they have to stay late or call me from home during evenings and weekends. They work extremely hard, and its commendable that they take care of their customers before themselves. I would highly recommend them if you are new to the area and want a more personalized touch on something as important as insurance .

Comment: This insurance brokerage company is terrible! When I bought my new car at a dealership in San Diego, I had to also purchase car insurance. The dealership provided an insurance broker, Charlotte with NCPA Insurance Services, who gave me several very expensive quotes and stated they were the cheapest rates I could get. She said the first month’s payment included a deposit to the insurance company as well as the first payment. The total was over $500. Since this was so expensive, I asked if I could cancel the policy if I was able to find a cheaper rate myself. She said yes, and I inquired about how much I would be refunded at which time she said they would simply prorate the number of days that were not used on the policy. This made me feel comfortable. However, when I left the dealership, she withheld the signed documents to initiate the insurance. That night I was able to find cheaper insurance and emailed her to cancel the policy. When I called the next morning to finalize the cancellation, I could not get a hold of anyone until 1:30pm. I kept being told I would be called back. When I was finally called back, I was told I would only be refunded $200. I then asked for my original documents, and once received, I found terms added that I did not agree to. In one of the documents, she added after the fact a $300 non-refundable brokerage fee that I never agreed to. It’s unbelievable that a business can do something like this and steal from a hard-working individual. I am disgusted. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. They are fraudulent!!!

Comment: I originally got my auto policy with NCPA Insurance Services when I purchased my first car. Joseph actually came out to the dealership to meet me. At the time I had a point on my driving record and I had gotten a couple quotes on my own, but his quote was so competitive I was able to pay for the whole year! When my policy came up for renewal last week I called the office and spoke to Charlotte. She offered to re-rate it for me since it had been a year, and was able to get the price down even lower!! They are experts. Thank you Charlotte, highly recommend!!

Comment: Giving this place one star is being too good to them, its at times like this that I wish there were negative stars.We went car shopping last weekend and finally found the car we were looking for. I was so exited and we rushed to finalize the deal. We wanted to enjoy the rest of the day with our new car! By the time the paperwork was over and all the things settled they told us we that in order to leave the dealer premises we needed to have a full coverage insurance on the newly bought car, (which is kind of understandable but still I wish theyd tell us before hand to have some heads up on the matter) or have a full coverage insurance that could transfer to any vehicle you drive. With this being our first car we obviously did not have the insurance ready to go and so the dealer offered to connect us with an insurance company that was supposed to have the best prices you could find. We started talking to the representative and as usual she was super nice, we didnt have any problems and everything was going smoothly, the price was expensive for a months worth of coverage to what she told us to be because they needed a deposit (a 300 dlls deposit to be exact) and that it would be credited to the next months if we decided to stay. She also assured us we would be able to get our deposit back if we found a different insurance en next business day with no problem. We did. As soon as we walked out we tried to find an insurance agency that would beat the best prices they offered us and we had no problem doing so. The problem was when we tried to call them and cancel our policy with them. At first they said they were super busy, when we were finally able to talk to them they told us we could in fact cancel the policy but there was no deposit to be given back because that was watt they had self handed taken as a brokers fee we never knew about this fee who would sign a 300 brokers fee!!! Now they dont even pick up the phone!!! I urge you guys to carefully check all the paperwork you sign with this people because we were not careful enough and now they ripped us off $300!!!Just unbelievable!!!

Comment: If I could give this company a rating of zero stars, I would!!! My experience with this insurance brokerage was when purchasing a vehicle through North county Ford of San Diego. They stated it was necessary to have insurance in order to leave the lot with the vehicle. Charlotte helped me with acquiring my policy. She stated it would cost a large deposit of $510 for my coverage for the first month and that all policies are going to require a large deposit to get started as well as this was my best rate. I asked her if I shopped around at home and found a better rate that night and cancelled the plan, would I be able to get my money back...she stated there would be a small penalty but yes I would. She stated that they would prorate the amount of my policy. Two hours later I got a policy with Geico for 6 months that had no deposit with the first 2 months free that had the same monthly rate she offered. Essentially, what she offered me as a one month deposit plus first month cost was what I paid for a six month policy with Geico. I was shocked. So I thought no problem, Ill be able to cancel easily in the morning since I have all of the documentation. WRONG!!! The manager speaks with me and tells me Im only getting back $200 maybe and it will take 4-6 weeks. I cannot even speak with Charlotte anymore as she is unavailable, and the manager is insisting that Charlotte told me this, which is funny, because she wasnt even there, nor was she on the phone. Im very angry about this. Essentially I think they are keeping a brokerage fee and not disclosing that at the beginning and making customers believe they just cannot get insurance for any cheaper. They are not an honest company and I absolutely think they do bad business. DO NOT USE THEM. In less time you can just call a major insurance company and get insurance anyway. They gave me insurance with some company Ive never heard of whos phone does not work either. Find your own insurance when purchasing a car!!!

They treat you like family and make sure that you are making the best decision possible when finding insurance. It was evident to me the amount of time they had taken in finding me the best insurance possible when I walked through the door.
