NeeHees Indian Vegetarian Street Food in other cities:
Absolutely love this place! The food is amazing and there are tonnes of choices! I always end up ordering more than what I can eat. Recently ordered their Garlic Cheese Vada Pav and Manchurian Rice. Both were great, though the Vada Pav was quite spicy, I enjoyed it regardless! I almost always order carryout from here as the restaurant is packed most times. The staff is very professional and the service is fairly quick. Definitely one of my fav go-to places!
Aloo paratha tastes so yummy 😋 ....i think who likes north indian food will love this place for those items.Nice place to have north indian chat items.Tried cut mirchi this is the most try item. Chana bhatura tastes nice.Samosa ragda, falooda is ok.Better not to try south indian food
We ordered our favourite,Dahi samosa chat & chole bhature. The food tested good until i found a hair in the bhatura. (Picture enclosed)I spoke to one of the employee, he said talk to the manager, they will give you another bhatura.( What if i have eaten it n fell sick )I thought of going n talking to someone but there were too many people placing an order. So, we just walked out.
Great selection of items. Good location. Love the Street Food vibe, even if its not real street food for obvious reasons. Everything tastes delicious. The service is fast and the prices are moderately fair. Have been a few times and always enjoyed food and will continue to go. Do recommend for any fans of Indian food.
Really delicious Indian street food! I ended up ordering the paper dosa with masala, chole bhature, somosas, Kung Pao paneer with Mango Lassi. Left me satisfyingly stuffed. Their ice cream is also worth trying. Never had chikoo flavor, and it was Soo good! Worth the stop if youre in the area.
Great spot for some nice Indian food. They offer chaat items (Indian Savory type food), and they do also have some variety in their menu. Their sugar cane juice is one of my favorites. It might be a little expensive to eat here for the quantity they provide, but you could definitely try it once in a while. The food could get spicy but I guess you could ask them if they could make it less spicy at least for some of their dishes.
Authentic Indian cuisine with plenty of options. This is a one stop shop for all street food lovers. Indian street food as well as meals are served here. Prices are reasonable and staff follow all hygiene and cleanliness standards. Ample parking is available in front of the restaurant. They offer dine in, takeout and delivery options. A must try place for street food lovers.
Totally unsavory experience.1) Customer Service: This place lacks any kind of customer service. The lady at the counter lacks basic social skills.2) Food: Lacks consistency. This being a chain consistency is something we all expect. But this place doesn’t follow it. The same dish will have no salt to too much salt, no flavors to overwhelming amount of flavors.3) The ice cream has tons of big sized ice crystals that make the entire experience lackluster! For the price they charge, the quality of ingredients and temperature are not controlled! All in all a place to avoid.
I am big fan of neehes. All the chats are excellent but today I am disappointed with my order. I ordered gunpowder mini idly and I got super tiny idlies which are hardly equal to 2 idlies and the price i paid was $10. I felt the price doesn’t do justice to the quantity. I could have ordered idly vada platter for same price and I would be full. Now I need to order to something else to keep my tummy full.
Awesome ,tasty and its the feeling just as in India.Living in Europe , and tasted many Indian restaurant s,,always missed authentic taste of Indian food. This was one here was awesome ,felt as I was having the chats or food in India , so full thumbs up and thanks to owners and team for the delicious and authentic Indian food served.
This place is clearly one of the finest place to eat in the neighborhood. Whenever I visit this place I am exceedingly satisfied. They hold their very high standard service and the highest level of meals they serve. You no doubt will love this place. Very recommended.
Food quality was good. Long waiting time. After covid, people came back to this restaurant for dining out. It took 30-minute to place the order. We were standing in line for 30 min on friday evening just to place the order. Although there were several places to seat, people are standing in the line. No one to manage the line. Food is testy and delicious only concern is price and customer experience. Day by day it became very expensive place. Not recommending because not value for money.
My first visit here. Wasnt really familiar with the menu items. Not the Indian food Im familiar with. I was in the mood for a palak paneer, they did not have that. I took the suggestion of the cashier and enjoyed it very much. Its amazing how they can take vegetables that I hate to eat (cauliflower, peas, bell peppers, ...) and put some spicy sauce on them and make it delicious!
Decent food overall taste wise, specially street are excellent. Puri chole & dahi wada was too good. I enjoyed ambiance, which is hard to get. I felt Food is $1-2/per Item little pricey than others restaurant, but can be justified with their maintenance. Recommend: street food, Don’t: Falooda (Ripoff) - visited on Jun 22nd 2022
The samosa ragda and Gobi were both strictly okay!! The samosas tasted fresh but the ragda that went along with it was very cold and there were barely any toppings. All I could spot were very coarsely chopped onions n not enough of sauces!! It definitely wasn’t at all worth the 9$ they charged!! The gobi Manchurian felt it it was dipped in a red colored batter without any much taste/flavor otherwise!! Overall we had a very disappointing experience!!
Although I am a regular customer and I am usually happy with the food but today they gave me food which is stale plus when I tried to tell them and complain about it they were completely reluctant to hear or give any response. Very bad behaviour. Not going to order or eat from then if they keep this kind of attitude and system where you can not lodge a complaint properly. Not cool Neehees. Try to show some respect for the regular or in fact any customer.
Worst Indian food around, honestly. Samosa chaat was like cold soup, and samosas have way too many seeds inside, the coriander is overpowering and just unpleasant. Veg pakora isn’t really pakora, it’s individually fried bland potato and carrot chunks. Service was very slow, prices too high for what you get.
I got the 🌶️ chili paneer. Oh my GOD. This is incredible. Everyone should try this. The place is spotless. The staff was very friendly explaining everything to me (I was the typical american who was blindly ordering what a friend recommended). The covid precautions are great, you can wait in your car with a buzzer or order ahead online.Overall it was a great experience, and Ill be back once those vaccines are out!
My family drives an hour to this restaurant from Toledo just for this delicious Indian food! Worth it every time. My favorite dish is the bhel puri. Their new menu design is also amazing, it has lots of bright pictures with great descriptions and is very well organized. Perfect if youre not Indian and dont know what everything is (like me).
First visit: greatSecond visit: Disappointed!Ordered Aaloo tikki, chole bhatute and SamsosaTikki: soggy. Taste was good. But mushy tikki turned me off.Chole Bhature: nope.. that’s not how it is done, at least not expecting it from a restaurant. Chole was bland, was made tangy with tomato based sause. Way too far from Chole I had in New Delhi. Bhature was done wrong. May be they were good for some people, not for me.Samosa: crust good. Chutney: good. Stuffing: clearly missed the efforts here. It was potatoes mixed with some green sause.I am amazed since I liked them so much the first time. And my second visit is like how and why this place is even running.I am sure they will do good business as they are the only one of their kind. Regardless of cashier lady who always have an attitude and menu which is pricey.2 stars are for Samosa and looks.I won’t be here again.
Best Indian restaurant in Dearborn area. I have tried their Gujarati thali it was so delicious. It was like I am having home made food by my mom. They have live pani puri service too. Quick service and customers are treated very well. I would recommend this place to my friends. Must go place for the people who loves Indian food.
Visited Canton store. Good food and customer friendly approach by counter staff. Tried Raj Kachori, Cut Mirchi, Undhiya Poori and Pav Bhaji. Did not feel the authentic taste of Gujarati food. Felt some American Touch. Still taste good. Even though noisy and congested staff is trying their maximum to keep the area clean and tidy.
All vegetarian restaurant and Gluten free dishes are also available. Excellent tasting food. You would love each and every item on their menu. All the chaat items are really good. I would definitely recommend to try it if youre fan of chaats. Dahi puri quality has reduced recently. My favorite is Chole Bhature and Paav Bhaji. Dabeli is also a good option. Mango lassi and Faluda are great but very sweet, if you’re on diet, skip it. Wait time is usually around 30-45 minutes on late Saturday evening, other than that day its pretty manageable. Service staff is very friendly and even in busy times they’ll make sure you have a good experience.Ive not given this place full 5 star rating is because of the place is tight and doesnt have enough room to move around, its a bit expensive as well for the type of food.
Food is very delicious, great lunch spot and have good lunch deals. I got the sampler plate last time I went it, was amazing. Gives you a chance to try a little of everything. And the naan bread is so buttery and warm.Second time..If you are in the Canton area then pass by Neehee’s Indian Vegetarian Street Food. They have great lunch specials and many options on the menu. I ordered the (M6) Mini Gujarati Thali - which is a combination of three roti (buttery Indian flatbread🤤) egg plant and potato curry, mix veg curry, steamed rice and more! Absolutely delicious, so much flavor - I usually mix the curry with the rice and dip the roti in the curry as well. During their lunch hours it’s special priced for $5.99. #OrderEatReviewPrice: $Customer Service: GreatOverall review: Stop by and try! It’s a vegetarian restaurant, but trust me you won’t miss the meat.
Terrible wait time. I walked in, there was 2 customers ahead of me in line, I waited for 25 minutes standing in line trying to place an order!! No luck, even after waiting 25 minutes there was still the same 2 customers ahead of me. I left!! UPDATE: 2 years later, COVID 19 pandemic hit the state of Michigan hard. As restaurants opened back up, the wait time decreased at most restaurants due to the lack of demand. Surprisingly, Nehees service have improved tremendously and they were actually moving really fast! The kitchen is super clean.. The food is great especially the Gobi Manchurian (sauteed cauliflower) with a mix of delicious spices.
Really awesome food! Great portions also! My only concern is how oily everything is. Sure everything is fried, but it doesnt mean it has to be soaked in greese. Regardless, this place is surely worth a try if you have never been :) also it is sometimes very spicy, so if you are sensitive to spicy maybe ask for it to be not spicy.
In spite of been super busy they did a great job .Everything was well organized and sanitary procedures maintained throughout. The young lady taking orders today at reception was excellent, professional, quick and efficient.Staff inside were struggling with a large number of orders but still rocked it .Great job today!
I buy falooda and paneer corn noodle and they use fry paneer and the noodle is too much oily and paneer is oily to and paneer size very small and very hard on inside and out side and when I go inside the neehee’s again one old lady fight with me and refused to change this noodle I very disappointed on it and also very high in price and quality and quantity is very small . so food and service both are very poor don’t waste your money and energy on the place I never go this place again .
Hello, we ordered Dosa on 6/24/2021, & brought it home and in the first spoonful of the Sambhar saw something odd, on closer examination found it to be a worm of some sort. Needless to say, we did not have any more – not sure how many more were in it. So please be careful when you are eating any food from here as these could be in any number of dishes.
Imagine my surprise as I went up to the counter to pick up my paper masala dosa. This was enough for lunch and I packed the rest for dinner. Dosa was crispy as a paper dosa should be and the masala was good. The coconut chutney, sambar and tomato chutney portions were doubled as you can see.The staff all follow strict safety, social distancing and all Covid 19 regulations.I will be coming back to try the other items on the menu.
Im only giving it a two-star, but I almost put a one star and the reason for this is well my mother and I went in there although it does seem quite popular. A lot of Indian people were coming in and out and with their babies and kids. On their menu I dont mind the vegetarian choices but it didnt explain what is exactly in the items is what we would have liked. We dont feel comfortable going up there to ask the workers okay whats in this one oh whats in that one you know what I mean ! ❓❓And a lot of the items they are quite pricey there !!!!I love Indian food at least what I have experienced in the past Indian restaurants. With curry potatoes different vegetables chicken that type of thing and I love the naan bread. But actually we just sat on the bench in there for a while deciding what to do well my mom didnt feel like Indian food cuz she didnt know what she would even get and I didnt want to just be me getting something so we left and didnt get anything in there.
Hands down the best chaat shop in a radius of 500 miles. the price is worth the quality and quantity of the food.of uve come here for the first time: get the Pav bhajiif ure here the second time: try the dosasif ure here the third time: try the vada pavif ure here for the fourth time:well you already know what you want, don’t you?
Went for dinner at 9 PM on a Saturday night. Ordered 4 dishes, sandwich, pav bhaji, a dosa and pani puri. All the dishes were very very bad. Sambar tasted stale, it was the worst food I had at neehees. Looks like they are losing their quality. Usually pav bhaji is nice but this time we could taste raw and not properly cooked vegetables. Very disappointed
Attempted to express to the cashier that there was a problem with their water but was unsuccessful as the lady would not listen. The water and their cups smell like an old rag. There were major leaks in the building itself. Food used to be good but their quality has gone down the drain. We asked to swap an untouched entree as we later realized that they fried the idly but of course they were unwillingly..we will definitely not be returning..its a shame as we have been coming here for years
Must visit place for authentic South/North /East/West Indian and Indo Chinese street foods. Quality of service is good. Their Dosas are good. But, their sambar is not up to the mark. If you are a chaat lover, you can not miss this place. Their home made ice creams are must items.
We have been coming to this place for years now and we love the food. Yes, it’s bit overpriced but it’s worth taking a 30 minutes drive to this place. But not anymore past few times we had a very bad experience. The food is awfully cold when you expect it to be atleast warm, Dabeli bread was probably stale. Mentioning it at the counter they instantly started denying about it. I wish there was someone more responsible to take such requests/feedbacks in a welcoming way. The staff isn’t very friendly.
Taste of Neehees is remain same throughout my experience. But the prices for the food were high previously and even recently they increased prices which does not make any sense. Quality for food is good but Quantity for price is ridiculously low. So, will not be going there anymore.
Been coming here for many years. It used to be excellent now its just not special anymore. Sometimes there food is horrible. Sambar is watery . We ordered dosas last time and they were like cardboard. I wish the owners had a supervisor who would walk around and check with people on the floor and maintain contact. Would go a long way.
Was a regular here for 4 years, due to COVID went here after a year, something has drastically changed for the worst. Taste has changed for literally every food, Im guessing new chef ?? I tried around 6 dishes, only sambar and chutney seemed good. Rest all were extremely bad. Portions have decreased for the noodles as well. Never returning here.
The food at this place is amazing. My todays review is about very poor web orders. One of the worst online order experience. I have lost so many loyalty points because the website does not track my orders consistently. It takes you in infinite loop when I try to order using my login credentials. In this day and age, online order process should be bug free.
Been coming here from last 4 years but I have problem with the customer service . Cashier was very rude . She suggested me food . It was Fried. I told her I can’t eat fried . Can she take it back and get me something else . I didn’t even touch the food or grabbed it from her , she was straight up rude that she can’t return it or refund me ,Glasses were smelling bad . We tried to explain that to her . She didn’t seem to care at all , 0 star to customer service .
Food was ok. But dropped my cell phone in the restaurant and was stolen by one of the cleaner, recovered with Cops help in ann arbor. WARNING - Be very careful of your belongings when you leave the restaurant - if you misplace anything in the restaurant, you are not getting it back! It’s gone!!! You will only get a sorry in return.
This is one amazing restaurant if you love authentic Indian food. Big spacious dining area, friendly staff and a big menu. Kind of cafeteria style in that you order before sitting down and then get paged when your food is ready. My kids, 4 under the age of 13, were a bit apprehensive about eating here but really, really enjoyed themselves, ate every morsel we bought and then finished with ice cream. Prices are reasonable for the great quality. I wish we lived closer.
I used to love this place, but recently Price for quantity is bad, food taste is OK. Pav bhaji is tasty. But the lady who took the oder is extremely extremely rude. She was so rude that next time I was thinking to visit this place I had to stop my visit because of this experience.
A really good place to eat after renovation. Good quality food. Good service. Prices definitely on the higher side. Probably $2.00 can easily be slashed for each item. For example, $9.99 is way too much for ANY dosa. A good alternate option is to visit Urban Tawa, which is half a mile away.
Decent place for Indian food especially good for the street food is good. The staff is really nice and friendly. The atmosphere is also nice and service is quick. My friends and I tried a lot of different things and liked almost every thing. But the show winner has to be the ice creams. They so many different and new flavors like fennel, ginger, jamun, guava etc.
We ordered to go by going in person and it took more than 30 minutes. They wont take phone order. Their website is not working with all the device. Customer service is not at all there. For the pricey street food I expect better service. I have to give a star , to post this.
Best Indian street food I’ve eaten at! Tastes as good as my favorite street food joints in India!Edit: Modifying this review after 10 months because I’ve been so patient with the employees here. I’ve gone multiple time for a pick up and the order either late or there’s no one to attend to the customers. Not to mention how rude all of the employees are!
We ordered live panipuri. The pani is very salty and the taste is not worst (actually it don’t have any taste) just ate one and tried one more no difference. What we buy in Indian store is 100 times better. No refund nothing… they don’t even care. Worst customer service.
Amazing variety and great taste! Whether youre new to Indian food or you know it like the back of your hand, this place is amazing! They have everything from lunch, dinner, and snacks to ice cream and Lassi. There is even a helpful interactive screen near the front of the restaurant that allows you to explore menu items and read descriptions of each dish. We loved our first visit here and will definitely be back soon!
It was awesome! I loved that we could select different foods that my partner and I have never tried before. The kiosk with pictures of everything was helpful. We enjoyed ice cream after our dinner, and we left feeling very full. I would definitely recommend to a friend! Prices reasonable too.
Can’t say enough bad stuff about the place. The food is no good. I know it add option to regular Indian restaurant but it was not worth the time and money. Paneer chili and hot & sour soup were the killer and pushed me to write the review. The service is sub standard as the servers have no intention to listen to customer. MCDonalds does better job at that. If you don’t like the taste of a dish you better swallow it or pick one which to replace from the ordered list. Not coming back again.
Ok went there for the first time and my God it was not written on the menu that neehees special chaat is with cheese ... When i asked them they were like super rude not wanting to listen to me and was like its totally my mistake ok i get it i should have asked but the other thing in the menu like wada pav it was written its with cheese only chaat was not written so i assume that it would be like the regular thing... But they were kind of hatred towards me may be because i was wearing hijab and they are Indians i have heard that indians dont like us but now have seen it too 🥺
It has a Great indoor sitting area. We tried dahi bhala, samosa chat, chana chat and onion pakora. Serving was very adequate in quantity and delicious. Samosa came with a combination of yogurt with chatni and was really good. My boys are picky eaters but they almost finished both samosa and dahi bhala. Service overall was really quick. Strongly recommended.
Ok so the food looks good on the reviews. To be honest I don’t like giving bad reviews... but here goes...this is not Indian food. I don’t know who told them that this is authentic Indian food. Everything I bought was salty and uneditable...$16 down the drain. I did not feel good after eating the food either. Just beware go somewhere else
Food has a standardized taste. Prices are very high, unjustifiable. Even earlier it was expensive but now even more ridiculously expensive There are other restaurants in the area very fairly priced. They are probably spending a lot on advertising and compensation those expenses from menu items.
Went to get thali since my normal place is closed today. They were quite busy but had plenty of distance marking and shields upnfornthe staff, who were all wearing masks and wearing them correctly. The restaurant is really modern and colorful. Lots of big screens showing food, prices and branding.Id like to go back and try the ice cream but wasnt going to spend any more time in a crowd during a pandemic than I have to.When I got home and tried the food, I was a little let down. The flavors were on the mild side, both spice level and intensity from what Im used to. Plus, most of the food had a sweetness to it that I wasnt super fond of.The pickle was hot as heck (just like I like it) and pungent, so that was cool.I wont go out of my way to go back but if in in the area, I might give them another go.
Indian street food, vegetarian. This place is very crowded on weekends. No waiting during the week. Food is very tasty lots of varieties to try. Small portions depending on the dish, so if someone wants to try different things they can. The restrooms are neat and clean. The whole place is clean but they should do something about the noise as sound echoes a lot. It gets pretty noisy on weekends. Thats the only negative I can think of.
First time really eating Indian food. I am a standard overeating American. This food was exceptional. Menu options were very numerous. Very tasty, small, appropriately sized servings and a quaint atmosphere. Most patrons were here with their entire family from Grandma all the way down to the youngins. Ill be back within the next couple of weeks.
I have often said I could never be a vegetarian because no food can be as hearty and filling as meat. I stand corrected. This was the most flavorful and fulfilling lunch experience in recent memory. Every single bite was packed with the perfect combination of spices and sauces. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was super fresh and served in no time at all. It was the most filling and heartiest meal I may have ever had. My taste buds are still reliving the memory and I cant wait to be back to try everything on the menu.
Taste is overall good for paav bhaaji or Dosa (longest paper dosa was the best looking dosa.....taste wise, sambhar is just ok). But the samosas are really very bad. The shell was soaked in oil & even the masala inside had no taste at all (not spicy or even very low on salt).
The food is really good, a lot of options to choose from and they do have pictures on the screen so you get an idea of what you will be ordering, there are options for kids less spicy which is great, we do have that issue sometimes in other places, that is too spicy for my youngest son. What I did not like at all was the space between tables, I was not able to enjoy my food due to people passing by and accidentally bumping the table or my elbow constantly. Overall did not enjoy the experience but the taste of the food and the available options to all family members is very good. I will try to avoid lunch time next time and see how that goes.
This place was great! Went here for two reasons. 1) i have never been to an Indian restaurant (just had some Indian options over the years, so i had an idea what iwas getting). 2) wife is vegan now, and there was a ton of stuff for her to order. This place was really tasty! Kind of expensive for just a lunch, but we were full. Be warned here, this place is always busy from what i hear. Great franchise, and definitely worth a visit if you want to try Indian food or vegan!
The food far exceeded my expectations. The Samosas are incredible. The menu can be a bit overwhelming for a new customer unfamiliar with Indian cuisine, but they have multiple large monitors with pictures of the food to help. The prices were very affordable and the wait time was short.
A great place for Indian street food thats fast and relatively inexpensive. Its got authentic flavors including spice level which is so nice when youve got a hankering for real Indian food that doesnt have a lot of cream, etc. Perfect for vegetarians/vegans with lots of options. Be careful on weekends since it can get backed especially in the evenings.
Food is good, but being Indian myself, I can tell you that it is a little overpriced. However, the food quality is there, and there arent really any other Indian places around the area that deliver as consistent food, or have as nice of a dining area. The mango lassi here is amazing, and I really enjoy coming here. Would recommend to anyone who has never tried Indian food.
Stopped in detroit airport and made a trip during our layover. Best decision of the stop. Food was phenomenal and staff was very fast while making fresh food. Places like this value vegan and no onion no garlic life styles. Truly a blessing to have places like this!!
Very expensive for veggie dishes priced like a non veg. Prices should be cut by at least 40%Compare it against similar Indian fast food places in New Jersey or New York and you will realize how expensive this place isLady who takes order never smiles and serves food as if she is doing us favor by serving foodPlus you have to place orders online only and cannot order over phoneWierd😂
Food here is so good that you will feel like youre in India. Very good and consistent quality. I only gave 3 points because of the customer service and poor cleanliness. The seating staff member was so rude that she never even greeted us properly and never smiled. And when we asked for our queue status, she replied so rudely that I almost wanted to reply back rudely. When we finally approached the counter to give our order, it was very confusing because the menu is huge. The staff at the register gave really dirty look and wanted us to make decision quickly. The staff has some kind of attitude as well. I dont know what they think of themselves but they really need to work on their customer service.
A carnival for your taste buds. Loved every dish we ordered. We were a party of 4 and we started off with Pani Puri, Dahi Puri and Bella Puri. After the initial chat session we moved onto samosa, dabeli and gun powder idli. Extremely satisfied, got mango lassi for the road and szechuan noodles, Panter chili and Gobi Manchurian for take home dinner. Overall a fantastic foodie day out. Will surely be back!
Visiting family in Michigan and they suggested NeeHees. Great choice! It was crowded with many groups waiting in the parking lot for a table but they were able to service take out orders. It is a self service place with seating for about 40 people I guess. The chaat style food is amazing.. One of the better places I have visited anywhere in the USA. The menu has a wide range of choices and the food is as close to the original (that is if you can imagine a single, original version of any item). The prices are very reasonable, our group of 8 was able to stay under $90.
I cant get enough of this place, and think my husband and I could eat here every night of the week without getting bored. Flavours are fantastic! When my family was visiting from India for three months this was a favorite go-to for our Indian food fix. This is a small home style little place, but is usually always bustling in the evenings.
Neehees definately needs to improve in the Quality of food they serve. We ordered Chole Batura, the Batura was soaking in Oil and the Channa is canned with tomato paste, mixed vegetable pakora was full of baking soda, Chinese Munchurian rice and that was full of oil papi chaat was good. If Neehees continues to charge exorbitant prices they Need to improve on the Quality!!!
Fabulous food (tried to taste almost everything in a group), Really helpful staff and variety of Indian Vegetarian food....we all loved it!!!Just a request to introduce Sample Dish where you can taste one portion of 4-5 different dishes of your choice....this would be good for people who want to taste everything in small bites:)
Definitely need to eat more Indian meals. Im full not stuffed. My body is happy not grumbly. The meal I got...Papdi Chaat and Samosas. Very delicious, very very flavorful (as most Indian dishes are). Though there were many flavors they certainly complimented one another. You could taste each individually yet however as pairs, well suited to make happy the palette. Staff/cashier was very helpful, guiding me to the large touch screen, to see all ingredients of each meal. I will certainly return!!
Authentic, high quality Indian street food. Some of the best vegan options we have had anywhere in the Midwest.Happy to see that they are spreading throughout the country. Let me know when a franchise opens in Minneapolis so I can be first in line at the grand opening.
I frequent this place as it serves authentic Indian street food, and it has been my go-to place since the past few years. With my recent visit, I found that the taste and spice level has been heavily toned down to make the food more acceptable to the American palette. This is extremely disappointing as a frequent patron.Dishes that are typically good here are Undhiyu Puri, Pav Bhaji, Chaats and Indo-Chinese. I dont recommend this place at all for south Indian food. I had Bhel Puri, Sev Puri, Ragda Kachori and Paneer Chilli in my last visit and can say that their flavor has been toned down to sweeter flavors despite the menu calling them Spicy dishes.
The newly remodeled restaurant is more spacious and live. Food quality has always been consistent. I rated it poorly because I ordered 3 items, and they gave me only one. One of the female cooks was smiling at me...no idea why, and I reminded her that I had 2 more items remaining (mango lassi and cheese dosa). I had to remind her and THEN she got the lassi for me. I had to wait 10-12 min for my dosa, as I was told they had forgotten to make it. It wasnt even busy like how it was before. When my food was ready, they gave it to me, without even apologizing. The owners are nice and friendly, but they need to train their staff on how to improve their customer service.
Pros-Food is ok, not the best.Cons-Overpriced, raised price 2 times in the last 6-8 months. At least $30 for 2 people (if you order 3 items). If you are not stick to Indian, you can have a wonderful dinner in Mexican Fiesta or Antonios (both are very close to this place) spending the same amount of money. You can try a number of items in $10-11/person at any Indian buffet.A few employees are very rude. You will not feel welcomed.Very noisyNot cleanI stopped going there. I am surprised how people tolerate this place... May be because there is no other street food place in this area. Good business opportunity if you want to open a Indian street food place...Solid customer base (big Indian community) in this area... ;-)
The food is hit or miss. Sometimes my dish is hot, sometimes its warm, and today it was ice cold. When its good its really good....when the temperature is weird...its okay. This is my 4th visit and I wanted to see if the temperature problem was fixed. I guess not. They are making the food with and without spice now. That is a plus. This is the best Indian restaurant in the canton area in my opinion when the food is the right temperature.
The place is amazing. Its a bit crowded, esp on weekends. Plan ahead if you are in big group. The menu is extensive with a lot of street food options, and would remind you of the authentic Indian flavors. I like all the chat options and the dabeli is just amazing. Ordered a paratha once and it was totally uncooked. So watch out. Lot of other options to choose from. Crowd is usually very chatty and loud.

2022-01-14I thought it was tasty. It would be helpful to look up what youre getting or have someone who is familiar with Indian street food ahead of time. Ice cream was okay, not the best but some interesting/fun flavors that you wont find in many other places.

2022-06-19Was pretty disappointed with the food. Too much hype around the place. The chat did not taste anything like a chat. Pani puri, pani was bland not sour not sweet. The choke bhature was okay. Mango lassi was good. Dosa masala was like mashed potatoes tasted awful. Overpriced and over hyped. Good things parking clean restrooms, lassi (mango).

2022-06-25Tasty Indian fare. Moderately priced, well presented dishes. Great staff and speedy service.Vegetarian restaurant, some vegan options available:)All chat items are great, indo-chinese dishes were a little underwhelming. Good selection of unique ice cream flavors such as chikoo and sitaphal.

2021-11-09Got a ton of food with family to share. Ordered many of the apps since these are less common at restaurants.Really liked the Gobi dishes and dahi puri. The kachori was my least favorite but still enjoyed it. The mirchi were not too spicy expect for one or two random ones... Loved having the options here as well as everything being vegetarian. There were also unique options for ice cream and we enjoyed all of them. I would probably skip the kachori and bhel next time but def try the others.
