Had the swordfish and calamari hibachi dinner. My other half had the salmon hibachi dinner. Both were great. The 20 minute wait for our food was worth it. Also they only have the one grill to cook on so the wait is understandable. The price is understandable for the food selection we chose.
Best fried rice around! The noodles are amazing as well. I’ve had the steak and chicken hibachi(meat was so flavorful and tender) and the tuna salad, the house sauce dressing is amazing as well as the yum yum sauce. Decent portions and friendly staff! Will be going back again and again
A lot of people have been talking about Ninjaz Japanese Grill so we had to check it out. I did look at the menu online but it was confusing. Going to the store (in the back of a gas station) the drive thru had menu and looked inoperable so I went inside. The menu was pretty simple, salads, Hibachi Grill items, and sides. The sides were all listed as meats, so that was confusing, I didnt want a salad - so I went with Hibachi Grill. You choose a meat - I went with chicken, and it says all meals come with soup and mixed vegetables, noodles or rice (steamed or fried). I asked what was in the mixed vegetables, which were onion, broccoli, carrots, and zucchini (thats it). They are not helpful at the counter in describing how to order or what you are ordering. After my vegetables question I ordered the chicken Hibachi and the only other question was did I want steamed or fried rice (I got fried). I asked about the soup and was told it was chicken beef broth (which sounded strange). It took more than 20 minutes to get my order, there was only 1 cook and two people working the counter. It comes with the entire meal in the box and soup in a cup container.Once I got home I tried the soup, and literally it had one green onion ring and one slice on onion in it, the rest was broth. Tasting it, it actually tasted like it was both beef and vegetable broth combined (gross). Seemed like a food service soup, nothing from scratch here at all.I opened the meal box and saw noodles on the left and rice on the right, mixed grilled veggies at the bottom, and big chunks of chicken on top (way too big). In the bag I also got a big cup of yum yum sauce. The yum yum sauce makes no sense at all because the entire meal is cooked in a teriyaki like sauce which is just fine on its own. If you use the yum yum sauce its like sauce on sauce on sauce. Its very strange that the mixed veggies are 4 kinds only - and none of them at all are asian vegetables. This meal cost me $15.90 and I only found out upon getting home that she added rice to my order for an additional $3 (after asking me which rice I wanted). It was not clear noodles only came with the meal. For $12 though for a Hibachi Grill meal - definitely not worth it for the price. Even though the meal was grilled fresh to order, the end result is like any food court asian place or Panda Express. Its not bad food, its asian (not very) fast food, but not what you think you would be getting for that much money.

2022-05-14This place needs more traction, seriously. Its a hidden gem in adrian. The portions were fairly large, and the hibachi was delicious, was it high class? No. But it was good quality. The swordfish was perfectly cooked and seasoned, as well as the steak. The fried rice, nailed it! The soup tasted like water, but I think it was just a mistake that day. And the noodles were a very authentic and enjoyable touch. That sauce.... I saved the rest 😚👌🏻The prices are a bit high, however understandable. I think with more local community support this place could improve and hopefully move to a more desirable location. The employees were kind, laid back , yet friendly. Investing in napkins that dont come in the plastic silverware packs would be considerate.

2022-04-06I did not expect food from a gas station to be the best food in Adrian. This needs to be a restaurant downtown!I had the tuna and it was absolutely perfect. The fried rice and noodles were so perfectly flavorful and the veggies fresh and couldn’t have been cooked better.15/10 stars

2022-05-29!!!!!HIDDEN GEM ALERT!!!!!Passing through on my way home from a soccer tournament and ran into this place. Great fresh food accompanied by friendly service and the cooks belting their favorite classic rock tunes in the back. Had the chicken and the beef fried rice. The beef was choice strip loin fried up with their rice and served with yum yum sauce. I crushed my serving it was so good!!! Wish this place was closer to home!

2021-08-26Placed a takeout order with my husband and 13 year old daughter, in person,, we were going to eat inside but there wasnt any A/C. I ordered 2 shrimp fried rice, 1 chicken hibachi and 1 water. I paid $34 and had a 25 minute wait to carry out. We left since it was so hot inside. When I came back my order was on the counter but only 2 entrées. I asked person working the counter about the 3rd entrée and she said I only ordered 1, but very clearly there were 3 in our party who ordered. I asked what I had just paid $34 for. She then read off all my charges which included a $3 upcharge for fried rice on both entrées one of which was listed as a a fried rice entrée. So shrimp fried rice is really $11 and chicken Hibachi that looked exactly the same as my shrimp fried rice was $15.Apparently ordering shrimp fried rice doesnt automatically come as fried rice and you must pay $3 more to get the rice fried. Why advertise as a fried rice entree. The menu is misleading. No solution offered, just enjoy your meal. Ill update if the food is amazing and drives me back for a 2nd chance.Update:The portion was small and we were not impressed with the taste. Everything tasted like greasy butter flavoring. For the same price I can have a real Hibachi experience. Also did not get the soups that were supposed to come with the Hibachi meal. .

2022-06-27Im a truck driver that stopped for a bathroom break. Decided to stop in. Got the chicken hibachi to go. Didnt know what to expect but was surprised with great food. Soup was a little bland but I finished it, the dish came with chicken, mixed veg, noodles and rice. I was stuffed. Wish I could travel through here more often, will definitely stop by next time I am though. The two guys up front were nice and great customer service.

2021-12-31Delicious. Service was prompt and employees were a joy. I had the steak hibachi. Cooked to perfection and paired perfectly with the rice, noodles, and yum yum sauce. Even the veggies (which Im not normally a huge fan of) tasted delicious.
