Comment: I brought my 2016 Civic in because the AC was blowing warm air. Having a history with a faulty condenser (repaired under recall two years prior here), I suspected it might be the culprit again.Upon arrival, I was informed of a $180 inspection fee, which would be waived if the condenser was indeed broken. A few hours later, I was told both the condenser and evaporator were malfunctioning, and I would be charged the full $180 for the inspection despite the evaporator being the confirmed issue. This was frustrating and made no sense, as these components also work together in the AC system.Following the diagnosis, I received a hefty $1800 quote for the evaporator repair, with the condenser still covered under the previous recall.Given my nearly five years of loyal service history, I inquired about Honda goodwill assistance for the evaporator repair. However, I did not hear back at all for almost two months and came in last week to follow up. I was again told that I would hear back in a couple days, but have yet to hear back…This entire experience has been really frustrating, from the initial inspection fee, despite the confirmed evaporator issue, to the lack of communication on the goodwill assistance.

Comment: I went to this place for services for my 2014 Accord in 2022 and 2023. I had engine oil leaking issue, they replaced the gasket cover in 2022, but its leaking again in 2023. Fortunately, its covered under the 1 year warranty, so they replaced it again. However, when I went to another dealer for service recently, they told me its still leaking, and the gasket cover still needs to be replaced. I checked the date, its just 2 months over the 1 year warranty. I dont believe thats a part that I need to replace every year. BAD service quality.

Offered me $18,300.00 on a trade in but only put down $18,000.00 in contact... Slow and incompetent about paperwork. My negative experience is still on going, being investigated and in the courts. They are just no good. Just try to look up the real name of the company and all the fronts, misleading names they have used and out of compliance fines and hit they have taken for faulty business practices. More to come.

And initially tried to raise the bill +$4,700 for bogus features, but I was able to knock those off.A finance manager also pressured my sale to close at the end. Quoting “if I can get this number, then will I have your sale right now?” and “What number do I need to get you to sign, today.”I went through with it because I was tired and the sound of never having to deal with these folks again was wonderful as I plan to keep my car until it dies.I mentioned I previously went to HondaWorld in Westminster and this Norman Reeves team had contacted them (without my permission or knowledge) to talk about my sale. I realized this through continued conversation over my sale through the different salesmen.Working with car dealerships, no matter where you go, is an uncomfortable experience of humans reading and studying you with only ulterior motives.For something that our world is current built around, humans should be better.At the end of the day, I should have kept my buisness private and if you have support systems to help you do that —you should too.Additionally for market information, I was able to get a 8.99% financing interest rate on a 2017 car :) for 72 months!

This is a starting point on my 2019 Honda Pilot with 54,000 miles. I looked on the internet and my problem was a common problem with that year covered under the powertrain warranty. I took my vehicle over to Norm Cerritos and they said, “yes, we see it all the time and it is covered under warranty.”Cost me zero. Huntington Beach still has my $99 service fee. How many other people are they doing this same thing to? Sounds like double dipping. Charge me and then Honda America under warranty!

When we got to Norm Reeves Honda I was greeted by one of their employees. After a brief exchange of words. He said that we cant buy a car in the dealership with a budget of 25k. He also mentioned that they didnt have the cars were looking for, which wasnt true. He pointed us to the used car section and seemed to have lost interest. We thanked him for his time and proceeded to look at the 2 cars we came for.We honestly didnt want to go inside and ask another employee for help after our first encounter. We were ready to walk out since there were other options nearby. Luckily Samuel Martinez came out to make sure if everything was ok. Hes professional, courteous, and respectful. The used car came with a broken sun roof. Samuel made arrangements to get it fixed for us. He also worked with us with the pricing and gave us a substantial discount. We also showed up there 30m before they closed. The whole branch stayed with us till we finished the transaction. It was 9:30pm by the time we finished the transaction (they closed at 8:00pm that day). The service team detailed the car we purchased. I was impressed by their commitment to make sure that we were happy with our purchase.Not all of their employees provide the same level of service. Especially if youre out there looking for used cars. If you ever come across Samuel Martinez make sure to speak to him and give him a chance, you wont regret it. Thanks for being the best Samuel.

She gave me the price for parts and labour and a free car rental for the day.Once I was ready, I emailed Viviana for an appointment and she confirmed I was good to bring in my car that day. I wanted to drop it off the night before since the mechanics needed a cold car to work on and even though it was on her day off, Viviana arranged it with another advisor Ivette to take my car in, do the paper work and set me up with a rental.I decided to include a valve lash adjustment and spark plug change for the same day. My car was ready around 3:00pm. I forgot and asked for an oil change, Viviana check with parts since I have an older car and used 10w-30 and the car was ready once again at 4:00pm. I could only pick it up after work,so Viviana arranged for a late pickup and even told me to leave the rental at the dealership and said she would arranged it in the morning for Enterprise to come pick up the rental.I would definitely recommend going to Viviana Saenz for your service advisor. She kept in contact with me through email, texts and phone calls. Even when she had a day off she arranged thing with another service advisor Ivette (which I have to thank for her help too).Overall I’ve had a great experience with Viviana and Ivette.

My credit was run, and they were just waiting on Honda for approval. This took several days. Im not sure what they do when someone is at the dealer. I have no idea why the vehicle wasnt set aside if a deal was being worked, and especially after they ran my credit. Absolutely horrible business ethics. Avoid this dealership. Comment: On Memorial day weekend I went to look for a CR-V Sports Hybrid with specific options, but they did not have it. Jacob Freeman my sales person and the GM went above and beyond by looking for the model with the options I wanted. We agreed on pricing without too much back and forth. They even gave me extra years of free maintenance. He listen to what I needed and what I wanted to pay. This was the easiest process I was ever part of. They told me that the next day they would have the car at there dealership. I left the store and later that evening Jacob told me that they found the car and to go the next day at noon. When I showed up the next day Jacob and his team had my car ready and the process after that was super fast. I stepped into the Finance office with Jonathan and he was great. He explained everything and all the options that I could get. I was given a great discount on all the options I opted in for and giving me the best solutions once my lease was up. When I do buy the car after I would not need to pay anything extra and just finance the car itself. This was a first of getting told everything upfront without BS and even given a discount. I referred my buddy here a year back and they treated him great as well, compare how he was treated at a different dealership. They told him no and that he could not afford what he wanted. Norm Reeves has gone above and beyond both times and thought of the customer not themselves. They did not care to make a giant profit but to make the customer happy. Mark up was also lowered and given some for free. Compare to other dealers the mark ups are way lower if they even have any. 5 STARS all around to everyone here are Norm Reeves, if you are buying a car make sure this is your first stop.

Comment: If I could rate my experience higher than 5 stars, I would. My experience at Norm Reeves Honda Superstore Huntington Beach was outstanding & I cannot recommend them highly enough. They worked hard to get me the model I wanted in the color I wanted; no small feat in todays market. This is an unusual dealership, I got a good feeling (good atmosphere) when I walked in & knew right away I would buy from them. They treated me well, kept me apprised of the status of getting my car, but never pressured me. Everyone I dealt with was wonderful. They also gave me a better price than other dealerships. They truly are outstanding. Trust me, you will be glad you went there.

Comment: I had a smooth buying experience at Norm Reeves Honda in Huntington Beach!!!Bo Sepehri, Joe Harper and Amit Chopra took awesome care of my needs.Dustin Sava had the financial paperwork together which expedited the process, which always makes it nice.There were only two things I wasnt very pleased with 1) I asked if they could fill my tank with gas and was insured they would, but it was only half way full, 2) I didnt receive a hard copy of the owners manual only a DVD which isnt helpful if Im on the road.Im sure they can correct these two issues. Other than that, it was a great experience!!!

Comment: I just recently traded my 2015 Honda Civic in for a 2018 Honda Civic as my lease ended. I have had a great experience with Honda for 3 years, but Connie Borja, Mike Lott and Jesse Martinez made my experience with Honda 10x better. They helped me get the best deal for me on the car I wanted. They were helpful, knowledgeable, personable, and gave me an amazing experience. Comment: Came in to see if this honda would beat the best price i got from 4 other dealers, Jonathan helped me out as soon as i came in the lot, he was busy helping another customer but offered to help me as soon as he was done. After a couple minutes he showed up and helped me out. They closed at 9pm. But he helped me out till 12:30am to get my car that same day left at 1:30am with my new 2018 Honda Civic Ex-T

Comment: This review is for the car buying experience/process and is not a review of the servicing experience.Ed Ringler at Norman Reeves gave me the most competitive price I could find on a Honda Accord EX-L 2.0 after I showed what my local dealerships were offering. I negotiated a final OTD price over email that dealerships in San Diego wouldnt even match.Ed is pretty straightforward and does dedicate his time to customer service. Although maybe a bit pushy, Ed is more willing to listen and compromise than most other salesman I talked to during my 2 weeks of shopping around. Ed stayed way past his last hour to help me get out the door despite a shortage of staff prepping the car to go after purchase. If I could give Ed a personal review Id give him 5 stars.However, Im giving a 4 star review due to a few other minor reasons.Based on my experience the finance team was a little unprofessional. I may have overheard some things that I probably shouldnt have and it seemed...predatory to find customers and make them sign papers. Also, I came in pretty late ~6pm and there were alot of people buying cars that day. There were people in there signing papers until 10pm. They may have been rushing to get customers out the door. The customer service on their end could be improved.I think part of the bad experience may be because I came in late on a Sunday. If youre buying a car. Go in EARLY. They will pay more attention to the details.

Comment: My family and I had a great experience. We are very grateful with Michael Lott, he went above and beyond our expections. He went over every detail, most importantly paying close attention to my mothers needs. Thanks to Michale’s help my mother was able to drive out with a brand new car, that fulfills all her needs.
