Chelsey is the best waitress in the place. She is so funny, kind, and attentive to her tables. We come back every week just to see her! Love this place. Great at remembering orders and the food is bomb.
Had the best service this Thursday since coming here. The girls all worked together and were so fast. Food was great and our waitress Chelsey was amazing!!! Got the boneless wings and they were so good!!! Highly recommend oakwood!!!

Your friday night waitresses, suck....not only do they basically ignore any customer that isnt a friend of thiers, it took 15 mins for me to wait for a to go box that never came and our waitress only came over to our table one literal time, other times i had to ask for my butter dip and the bill as she was walking by to another table. I ended up walking out without taking my left over. Which im seriously disappointed about. One waitress on her phone, the bartender talking to only two specific customers and another dark haired waitress that was also talking to the same customers as the bartender. The only one actially working was the chick with the blue in her hair. This happens almost every time i come here at night. If the beef tips werent so good i wouldnt come back.
I have been here 3 times. Customer service is amazing. Beautiful woman that have beautiful attitudes. I keep saying i will order something different but find myself ordering the same Lamb Chop entree over and over. You get a couple piece of lamb chops, 3 pieces of jump shrimp, 2 crab cakes, broccoli and waffle fries. You can substitute the waffle fries for a loaded potatoe. The lamb chops always taste A-1 . Everytime never fails. The jumbo shrimp have a nice crunch and are also perfectly grilled. The crab cakes here are the best crab cakes ive had in my life. They actually taste like crab unlike most crab cakes out there🤔. The rasberry sauce is to die for. You can dip anything into it and it will intensify the flavor. Vegtables are always steamed to perfection also. The wafle fries have a crisp on the outside and well done on the inside, perfect. The loaded potatoe was ok but thats really not my thing so it wouldnt be fair to judge on that. Make sure you order root beer with your food if your sober like me😂🤣😂. This place is awsome, i love everything about them from customer service to the explosive flavors in the food. Ill try to order something else next time but yeaaa prob wont😁
Great prices. Chicken caesar wrap was amazing. And you need to get the Sweet Potato fries. With syrup. And spicy ranch dips. Enjoy

This place was packed out on a Wednesday. Live music was very nice. Really enjoyed my chicken wrap. Place is noisy but fun. I have tried the shrimp tacos. Very good and a bit spicy, too. The waitress claims that the burgers are the best ever and the steaks are awesome too. Im looking forward to trying them sometime soon. Update: I tried the Black & Bleu Burger today. Very good! This place seems to always be hopping. If you enjoy being around a group, this is the place for you.
Great food but poor service!! Burgers were cooked to perfection. Servers would rather drink than pay attention to their tables! So if you’re okay with poor service from loud drunk females this is your place!
Love Oakwood! Awesome food, great service and staff, and tons of TVs. Perfect local hangout. If youre lucky enough to come on a night when the chef has a special menu, youre in for a treat.
I ordered some food over the phone and asked for chicken tenders, and she asked me what kind of dipping sauce, so I told her, she told me $14 for my total, when I got there she said it was $19 and I was like oh I thought they said 14, she rudely said no I said 19 and you spoke to me, I’m like okay.. so I get home and notice it was wings not chicken tenders. I ended up giving them away because I hate bone in wings. So my lunch was ruined but I already know if I called up there just from what I experienced she was going to give me attitude, so I will not be ordering food from here again
Nice neighborhood sports bar with plenty of screens, full menu and stocked bar.Im told it gets pretty full on Friday nights and Saturdays. When I was in during Fathers Day, there was only one waitress on duty, so the poor kid was working her tail off! Still friendly and accommodating.Food was fine and the athmosphere was typical for a sports bar. Id go back.If you are new, signage is lacking on the sides of the building, so I drove past it the first time. Fortunately, the gas station next connects the driveway to the parking lot.

We have lived in the area a few years and have always passed by so we decided to order carry out and give them a try. Everything was fine when I ordered over the phone but When I went to pick up the order the server acted like she was bothered I was there. She looked annoyed and didnt smile at all. They gave me the wrong order at first and as I started to say something she snatched it from me without even saying sorry and went to the back to get mine. When we got home our food was a total disappointment. We ordered 8 pcs wings, coconut shrimp, spinach artichoke dip, and a cheese burger. The wings barely had any sauce on them at all. They were practically dry even though we asked for garlic parm. And they are not jumbo wings like advertised on the menu they were small wing dings. The coconut shrimp breading was burnt and they only gave us 5 small shrimp. The spinach artichoke dip very small, only just a couple of ounces. The cheese burger was the best thing out of everything we got and the meat was bland with no flavor. Not worth the $60 we paid. This was my first and only experience so Im not sure if it is always like this but the food was overpriced and not very good at all.
Food was awful. Ordered chips and queso and the chips were stale and cheese was cold. Ordered stuffed mushrooms that were not edible and didn’t eat them- server took them off the tab. Drinks over priced- service with a bad attitude. Won’t come back.
The food was cold, it took almost a hour to get are food and one plate had hair on it. The food wasnt hot and the service was horrible. When we asked for a Mgr the waitress said they didnt have one. We where charge $19 for a tip because there was 7 of us and mind you 3 of us didnt eat because there was something wrong with the food.

Was in the area and stopped in for lunch. Dont need any excuse not to eat out during these covid days. There was a decent lunch crowd. Had their boneless wings dusted with Cajun seasoning and a side of spices BBQ sauce and an order of onion rings. Delicious!! Their bone less wings are lightly beer battered boulders of white meat chicken. Their smallest order is 8 pieces and is $10 and is worth it.. Thier onion rings (picture) are a meal in themselves. They also are hand beer battered and you will need a fork and knife to breakdown as they are huge. The rest of the menu is a little more upscale bar food with something for everyone. Had good service, food came out quick and was hot..
First time here . I came in for the so called famous burgers and they were a huge disappointment. Burger was very dry. The service was not so good either. Ill never come here again.

Super tasty food, but Omega sized portions. You wont leave hungry, but youre probably not finishing your meal.Request: can they make some of the larger burgers (aka hangover burger) with maybe a 1/4lb Patty instead of a 1/2 lb one..Still, awesome food, but beware of portion sizes. If your mom made you clean your plate as a kid, you might want to make an exception here..
Food was good along with the service. The place is small, so you may want to call ahead. The parking lot is even smaller.
They get one star for not disclosing that there is a $1.50 carry fee per item on your entire order. This is unheard of. I got charged an extra $7 because I chose their establishment.

Excellent place for a bite to eat. I enjoyed the atmosphere and cleanliness. The server was on point and courteous. I ordered the 16oz ribeye and DID NOT REGRET IT! The cook prepared it wit perfection (medium). Im definitely going back its a diamond in the ruff for those who havent experienced it. My only complaint was the restroom area. no paper towel.
We eat here a lot. American fare,burgers, bar food, sandwiches fish & chips, salads, etc. Great tater tots and generous portions too. The burgers are all great, the salads will not disappoint. Don’t forget there’s a full bar as well if you would rather drink lunch or dinner!!

These guys will change the way you eat at a bar! Without a doubt some of the best “bar food” I’ve ever tried. Presentation is on point with dishes from restaurants that cost twice the price. Portions are a great size and everything tastes good. Plus they have great prices on beer and a very wide selection.

Un enjoyable experience. Service was lackluster, my burger was overcooked and my friend found a piece of plastic in his food that was burnt and they wouldnt take it off the bill. Would not recommend.

Good sports bar. Ample TV layout; you can watch the game from anywhere youre seated. Has a small-pub feel where the whole bar watches the big game together. Food is also very good! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Wow. Had not stepped foot in this joint since dart league 25 years ago. Must be relatively new ownership. Top shelf everything. Had a salad, after eating a bucket of Halloween candy a few days earlier. Battling the Pandemic 30 and family drama over here. Perfectly executed. Convenient to I-94, I-96, and the Southfield Freeway. Drop in. It is impossible to be disappointed if you prefer the mature crowd

Been there before and had good service and food was great. I know a lot of places are short staffed and things were going to take longer but we still were completely forgotten about...and we sat at the bar. We ordered food and we never got it. The bartender was doing shots and may have been too drunk to put in our order even though her back was to POS system when we ordered. We cashed out and she didnt even say anything about the food not coming and wasnt on our bill. Was a slow Thursday evening with just 3 other people sitting at the bar.

Inviting on the outside, not so much on the inside…when I entered the establishment, the bartender was engaging in a beer & deep conversation with a customer, so much so that she was in his face leaning on the bar. She saw me, and her demeanor quickly went to immediate disdain & distaste as if I was interrupting her conversation. Acting in accordance to her unprofessional behavior, she didn’t acknowledge me until AFTER she took a long gulp of her beer. I used to be a bartender and that was unbearably unprofessional & uncouth. She looked & acted like she was under the influence. Her tone was also dry when she did finally acknowledge me. And when she retrieved my food and handed to me, I gave her the money and gave me my change back, she didn’t say have a great day or enjoy, she just walked away without uttering a word. I still tipped her though.As far as the food, it’s overpriced for what you get. The coconut shrimp & sauce were good. In fact, the sauce was the better half of the appetizer. And the chips & queso was…well let’s just say they would have been better off using Kraft singles & Picanta to make a better queso. It was shredded cheese with huge chunks of jalapeños & it was also oily. Major disappointment. Overall, I would never eat here again & I told my co-workers to just drive pass it and ignore it. Awful service & not so great good. Definitely two thumbs down. A Coney Island would have been much better than this place.Additionally, after I ate the coconut shrimp, I had a few bites of the chips & queso and immediately felt sick to my stomach, and started overheating. Cheap, lowgrade cheese makes my stomach do numbers so I threw the rest of the queso away.
Was a little disappointed but it got better. Asked for a blue moon they were warmThen I asked for a summer shandy same thing. But I ended up with a Bud light our appetizers were there with our drinks and our dinner came shortly after and we are in and out of there happy with the food and service.
It was seat yourself, but I had to flag someone down to even greet the table...it wasnt that busy. The drinks were weak and overflowed with ice. The food was awful!! Had a chicken parm and the sauce tasted like water and something else. The crust was diaper soft. Noodles and cheese were YUCK! That was all just from one bite. They refunded the food and we still paid for our OVERPRICED cocktails. Wont be back, even if Im thirsty.

Today I decided to order lunch from Oakwood Grill in Dearborn, I placed my order over the phone and the lady that answered seemed irritated; non-welcoming, but I placed the order anyway. This was my first time ever in the bar, once in, I felt like I didnt belong. I once lived in the neighborhood for ten years. I only went because a co-worker knew I wanted a good salad, so she suggested Oakwood bar & grill. The salad was good, but not enough dressing for the size; the online menu listed chicken for an additional $3.50 but the bill was printed for $4.50!👀 The whole experience made me feel like I was at a Mega rally🤔👀🥴In short, I will never dock in their 🚪 ever again!!!

What a wonderful experience. The friendly owner Adam greeted and talked to us. He suggested a rootbeer flavor beer to Linda. Wow, great taste and easy to drink. The waitress was polite and great service. The fish and chips dinner was the Best Ive ate yet. We had the bread sticks as the appetizers. Absolutely the softest and best tasting we have ever had. You cant go wrong with eating and drinking here. Linda and I stopped by after a meeting to see the Alexander room in the Dearborn Inn. As a DJ business Stars And Stripes Entertainment LLC we appreciate great service. This isnt a paid promotion. Just honest talk for others.
I have always been a true fan but the quality of food has drastically gone done. However the service remains amazing. I guess I will drink more and eat less sadly!!
Been going here for years. Friendly staff - usually fairly quick as well, although it is a pretty laid bad atmosphere. Plenty of big screens - good place to catch a game or two or seven.There is some great food on the menu -- southwest salad, seared tuna appetizer, their boneless wings are some of the best Ive had, bone-in wings are also good, their veggie burger is actually really good.But then their pizza was terrible - had too much dough and was too salty. Their hamburger and a pasta dish I thought were pretty flavorless. Same with the the berry salad.Maybe they should trim the menu down a bit. Overall, good folks and good food (if you know what to get).
This is a decent Bar and Grill, I wasnt expecting burgers from frozen patties and beer on tap kind of weak (not saying watered down) just off a little. The staff is friendly and fast pricing is on Parr
This was my first time dining here. I cant brag on anything exceptional but I also have nothing negative to say about my experience. I tried the fillet with seafood. It was mediocre; very small portion, vegetables were great. My pre-teen companion had chicken parmesan, which was a nice size breast, thick and juicy. She devoured it.
Shelby was our waitress, and she was very friendly and attentive! The food was great! I got the nuts and berries salad, which was enough to fill me up, and was delicious.

This place is great with the best service you can find. I couldnt believe how helpful and friendly the waitresses are. Theres no way I can find the worlds to express how grateful I am to one of the waitresses I dont think I should mention her name but I want to say thank you for everything you did for me without even knowing my name or wanting anything in return. Its not often you find someone thats as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside especially when they are a 10

Absolutely the best food around, with a menu tailored by a real chef... (for the money, it cannot be beaten!) They also have great staff that mostly has not changed for years; That says something about ownership. They have a decent craft beer selection, also. 5 stars !
Good bar food. Service is good. The kitchen is a little slow. Ive only been there during the day, so its mostly Ford employees during that time. Mix of music depending on who the bartender is. They are busy most days at lunch so get there a bit early.

Definitely did not like the seating options. The staff was less than friendly. Our waitress acted like it was a real chore to wait on us. The food was passable in taste and quantity. The price was a bit high especially seeing how anything outside of the main entree was extra, salad, vegetable, bread etc. Their alcohol prices are higher than similar or even more upscale places.
French dip was amazing. Was my first time there and I was impressed with the service, quality of food, and cleanliness. Went about 5pm, by the time we left it was packed and fairly loud.Edit:Went back yesterday and the French dip was just as good as I remembered. Bartender was very nice taking order and giving me my carryout.

If it matters this is a Michigan bar. Super loud during the game. Lots of TVs. Lots of energy and enthusiasm. I had the black and blue burger and waffle fries. Very good. Others had a variety of burgers and chicken. All was good. Prompt attentive service even with a big crowd.
I enjoyed the food as well as the service, also the atmosphere was great, the people were friendly, and i had the chance to lose 3 pool games, yes i would recommend this place.😉

The black and blue burger and the french dip were really good. We did get wings, three different types, medium, dry rub, and garlic parmesan and there was so little sauce on them and the flavor was so bland we could not tell what was what. They were pretty disappointing. We have got the wings there before, maybe a year or so ago and I recall them be much better. Maybe this was a fluke. Ill go there again for sure. The staff there are really awesome. Service was super friendly and fast. Prices are pretty average for bar prices. Its worth going and trying for yourself.
Oakwood has outstanding food. I just had the crab and shrimp stuffed mushrooms in mozzarella... to give you an idea. You are in chef territory here, not line cook.😍 Prices are $$.👍👍 Nice dark wood interior with plenty of TVs for sports.
Took the wife to Oakwood Grill for Mothers Day. The restaurant was near allowable capacity with only Caley F working the dining floor, supported by the Bar Tender, who herself was busy with patrons and the constant phone ringing for pick-up orders. Both ladies were hustling! The three gentlemen in the kitchen were also toiling away to keep up. It must be challenging to find help now days so we understood the stress these people were under. Given such a taxing situation, our Kudos to Caley (waitress extraordinaire) for her great service under such difficult circumstances, and to the others who were busting butt for us and the other people who were there. Wife and I both ordered the Medallion Dinner which was outstanding. As for the couple complaining about the service as they walked out, please have some consideration for the times we are experiencing. It is not the fault of the waitresses and other workers.
Honest poured, well prepared, tasty mixed drinks served by friendly & cheerful servers. Fresh, flavorful menu served hot by attentive servers who make your meal a treat. The menu shows some skilled & thoughtful attention to being more than your local burger bar. Great place to party.
Good food, and Great service. The waffle fries are delish. The onion rings have a very thick batter. Almost like thick pancakes. My grilled chicken sandwich could of used a bit more seasoning. Hubs BLT, he said; was delicious. Lots of bacon!

Food is great. Try the eight ounce center cut. Their beer selection could be better but overall its very decent. They do have wine and mixed drinks. The waiters are all cute but a bit slow sometimes so just relax. I highly recommend it any day of the week.
Stopped in to try a new place. There was live music early on a weekday, which was nice. Food was great, definitely recommend the pepperoni roll appetizer (add cheese, you wont regret it!). Good selection of drinks too. Well be back!
We have been in there for drinks before but this is the 1st time we have eaten here and we sure will be back. All 4 of us had burgers and they were great, giant sized onions rings, seasoned waffle fries....all of it was good. Sorry I didnt get any pics to share with you guys but I was too busy eating I guess? Stop in and try it for yourself....
Really quick service for takeout. Salads are a bit on the small side for the price and very little feta. But the Greek dressing is great.

My wife and I go to the Oakwood a couple times a month. The food and service are usually great. However, today we stopped for a quick dinner and we were disappointed. It wasnt unusually busy but after being ignored by the wait staff for over 10 minutes, I had to chase a waitress down. We should have just left. I had to chase her down again to get the soup I ordered. It had been sitting and was barely warm. Our waitress could have turned the mood around, but the rest of the dinner she was surly and curt. She spilled my drink and barely made an effort to clean the table or apologize. The service for the rest of the dinner was more of the same. It will be a while before we eat there again!!
Awesome food, even greater service, perfect for date nights or to have a couple drinks with friends. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order/ service they will fix it with a smile and compassion the service goes above and beyond. It is not a typical bar and they offer way more food options than most. The bar tenders are friendly and will small talk with you. Great establishment!
The staff is very good at taking care of your needs. They know the menu very well and can even make changes to the order to accommodate a different type of diet. (Make it more Keto, or Whole 30 friendly ) Like everything about the place except its a bit too noisy otherwise I would have given 5*.
Had a decent burger and wings here. Its a bit dark in the bar, but it was lunch hours so the windows brightened it up a bit. They had craft beer, which is always a plus. Waitress was nice, slow to refill my coke, but Im sure theyre used to serving beer so its cool.

Okay, I cant believe how good the food is here. Not only do they have a selection of lunch and dinner options that are different from your typical bar & grill, but the presentation makes it 10x better. This place gets pretty busy for lunch, but they do an excellent job of getting your food to you quickly without sacrificing any of the quality. All of the TVs and the billiard table make it a great place to go to on the weekend to catch a game and hang out for a while.

We had a holiday party of about 17 people and had one waitress. She was GREAT! she kept coming around to grab our orders all night and our food was always VERY hot! It was a busy Friday night too!

Excellent place for a drink after work. Friendly atmosphere very good service from the girls and the food that I have eaten there has all been good. Most importantly the place has always been clean, a rarity in this area for some reason.
My family and I walked in and sat for 10min with no attention paid to us what so ever. Another couple walked in, sat next to us, a waitress materialized, and after giving them menus, claimed they didnt see us. Mind you we were right next to these people, and had been there first. We left. Too many places to eat in this area without the grief.
Drinks were good. Food was waaay over priced, and ended up being more coney island style. The waitress was very disconnected
Boneless wings are amazing. Huge delish salads. Looks kinda like a dive from the outside, but its a decent bar with unexpectedly good food. I somehow end up going there quite often. It helps that the service is awesome and its pretty affordable.

Came here quite a few times. Decent service and amazing food. But I’ll no longer be coming here after my experience last night. Me and boyfriend came in at 11:15 there was three guys at the bar and one table with a group of 6, 1 bartender and one waitress. We sat ourselves and waited 15 minutes for no one to even pay us attention. My boyfriend went to the bar to grab menus and we waited another few minutes to see if anyone was gonna take our order. Nope nothing, never got acknowledged at all. My boyfriend asked to speak to a manager and we were told there isn’t one in the building.
This used to be one of my familys go to restaurants, hence the 2 stars. If you have issues against Covid-19, however, DONT COME HERE. They are not following ANY of the mandates- no social distancing, theyre at 100% capacity, the bartender wasnt wearing a mask, and thats just what I saw before I left the restaurant. I will be reporting them.
I had the fish and chips. WAY TO MUCH breading for me. But after removing the breading the fish was very tasty. I watch burgers and salads going by my table that all looked great. The next time I go there I will probably try a burger or Salad and update my review.
Enjoy the food. A pretty diverse menu for a bar & grill. Their salads are always fresh & more interesting than just some greens thrown on a plate. This time I had one of the lunch specials that was 1/2 a corned beef sandwich on rye with a cup of the days soup. Generous portion of corned beef on the sandwich. More than enough to satisfy my appetite.
The food us usually pretty good, but too expensive compared to other places in the area. Beer selection is decent but happy hour, once again, is expensive. Service is awful, many of the times weve been here the girls are just plain rude.

I live in Detroit on the west side and there are slim pickings for food, I can tell you. So I ventured to my neighbor city. My first time there was a Sunday evening. A very rowdy bar. I did not expect that. Corny 80s music, but it fit. Beer selection: Good. Bartender: Very good. She knew when to check in. Food: Good to very good. Had the Reuben. Above average. I will be coming back.
Good food choices, nice interior, busy but not crowded. The pumped in music volume causes everyone to yell, so it was too loud for us to enjoy hanging out talking (yelling.)
The food is amazing and the bartender i had today. I had the tuna sashimi and was fantastic amd i had filet mignon medallions and my friend and i shared these both at a very fsir price and both felt satisfied and also enjoyed a few cocktails. I will do ecactly the same very soon. Nice evening 😁😊
We have gotten our food order in just 15 minutes before closing after hiking through the city :D hungry.. Never had a problem with the staff here. Me and my buddy ordered burgers and queso appetizer. My bacon burger was one of the biggest ones I have encountered. It was made very well, juicy... proper bun; Like a dream hit the spot! Its a good thing they are located in right next to hospital :D
1st time here on a Saturday afternoon. Service was good. Food was good - boyfriend got corned beef and he really liked it. I got beef sliders and they were supposed to come with grilled onions & they werent on there : (.Very expensive coffee drinks - $9 each - much higher than normal so beware.
The food was a great surprise for my first time there. The menu options where really vast and offered something for every taste. Looks like theyre doing some remodeling so the already inviting atmosphere should become even more welcoming soon. If I had only one complaint, it would be that the wait staff was a little slow, unfocused and unorganized but other then that it was all good I will be returning.
8 people waiting an hour before a waitress showed up to take our order. Will not go there again!
Chicken wings were pretty solid, a little dry but not too bad. The honey BBQ sauce was so good!!
Ordered Lamb Chops. Ahi tuna. Coconut Shrimp. Boneless wings. Cannot say I liked any of my food. Tasted old or freezer burnt. Cannot exactly pinpoint just didnt seem fresh. Service also was pretty poor. Wont be back. Waste of $75.
Great staff, fast service, delicious food. The appetizers are especially tasty. Seasonal specials and cocktails are great. It gets very busy at lunchtime, starting around 11 or 11:30.
Staff was nice but the food tastes like it was fried in old grease. All my meat was dry, extra salty, and had a stale taste because of the grease. The french fries were extra soggy and tasted like the grease too. It was a bad experience.

Great hospitality.My car broke down and my phone died on southfield. They let me escape the cold weather, offered me some water, and let me call for help. I dont remember the staff working, I never got their names, but very friendly.Awesome job guys.

Good food but I had to wait 5 minutes before anyone talked to me. I enjoyed beer battered fish and chips. The beer was pronounced which is a good thing. The fries had garlic or onion powder which have it great depth and mace them very addicted. I wasnt thrilled by the coleslaw but overall the meal was great.The fare is typical american: burgers, chicken, pizza etc. It was packed when I visited at noon. I waited at the bar for nearly five minutes to place my order and no less than five different girls and one guy passed me without saying a word. The girls seemed nice but I didnt like the wait.
If there were 8 Stars they would get that. Food was awesome, ambiance was nice, and our waitress handled her biz even though they were busy. Its been awhile since I have had food that HAD to be shared. I will be going back.
By far the best bar food in Dearborn. Their specials are always delicious. Boneless wings with a side of tater tots is a must. Nice staff - parking can be somewhat limiting depending on the time you go but I almost always find a spot.
Usually a good experience but this time awful. My friend ordered a burger med well with side salad, my boyfriend ordered the the tenderloins med and myself the 8oz center cut med rare with side salad. Our salads came out with our food and please tell me why my steak came out more done then both the burger and the tenderloins, maybe because she didnt write anything down... Not a good move. No ketchup was brought but she disappeared to ask for any. Before I was done with my food she brought the bill. It was a Monday not busy, but service was awful.

When youve got a group of 15, its a good idea to make a reservation for dinner. We made a reservation a day ahead. An even better idea is for the restaurant to, oh I dont know, maybe actually have a reserved table. Might be an ok place, but definitely understaffed for a busy Saturday night. Nearly an hour and a half after arrival, Im seeing newer tables being served food before us. Both a hot drink and mac & cheese were lukewarm upon eventual arrival. Fortunately the food did taste good. Our server was apologetic and gave a small discount for the issues. If I were a local rather than a weekend visitor, I might give it a second chance.

This is a place that fits a genre. It doesnt pretend to be more than it is, but what it is, it does quite well...The place was almost full when I got there but I was still able to get a good seat in view of the nights performer who turned in a very adequate performance.The beer (a nice dirty blonde, from Atwater Brewing, which I checked in to untappd of course) was poured well. I got a great deal on it, and a burger. The burger tasted very nice. Everything was very straightforward and positive. I would definitely come here again

Experienced an unexpected and ugly passive aggressive bout of racism. I work for one of the big 3 at a nearby major research and engineering facility. I heard rave reviews about the burgers, so 2 of my workmates and myself ordered 3 burgers and fries friday evening. We picked up our food and after surveying the bar, we decided to eat in the restaurant area. We paid them sat at a table where we were ignored by the waitresses for a good half hour. One of my companions stopped a waitress, (after shed walked past our table for a sixth time), and informed her we would like to order sodas and get some condiments. We watched in awe as 3 seperate waitresses purposely avoided looking towards our table while serving everyone else around us. We sat for another ten minutes until we were completely frustrated and left. It looks like a great place, as long as your the right color. Thanks for reinforcing the SAD and UGLY reality that in here in America in 2016, racism is alive and well. Eat a dick.
Great place to come and be ignored! Food is Okie dokie, my wifes cocktail wasnt made properly. This IS NOT the first time the service has sucked! Lol. My wife was just told, its a different bar tender and thats how she makes that drink...Really? She makes the drink wrong but its ok? Will NEVER be back!!

This is one of the best places to eat in the Dearborn area. Looks like a bar from the outside, a more upscale one on the inside (lots of big screen tvs that actually work good), but the food is the bomb! Their half-pound ground rounds really are that: theres no shrinkage with these babies, so get ready to eat. Their full course dinners are extremely good and the atmosphere there is very welcoming too. Try this out when you are in the neighborhood.
Great food. Weird tip issue where the amount precalculated for you did not align to reality in the wait staff favor. I mentioned it to the manager.I feel it is a bit fraudy because we had a party more than 8 people so they auto applied a tip amount and had incorrect info on the same document.
Would have been a 4 star but the BLT chicken sandwich ordered was not. A sandwich but a huge pc. Of chicken with a pile of very greesy under cooked bacon the bread sitting on top at least 10. High. Needed a fork and knife to eat. I was exhausted trying to cut it up, quit the gimmick huge portion and make a great sandwich. Youll triple your money. Cut chicken in 1/3 , 3 pcs of crispy bacon and your done. Frys to much season but good.The taste you have , just cut portions and cook the bacon...Ill be back
My personal opinion on oakwood grill is they are deceiving the 12 dollar and change salad that I got today 3-13-20 I could have when to Wendy or coney ice berg lettuce mix with romaine and I ask for romaine only what’s on the menu. Lost my business. And the presentation of the salad was 🤦🏾♀️get it together oakwood grill.
One of the best burgers Ive had in a while and there fries are ok not the best but good and the place itself is a little small but it works so dont go in with a big party and mainly people that work at the hospital down the road go there
The food here is fantastic. Oakwood has the best wings in the area for sure. Go on Tuesdays when its $0.50 bone-in wings or Thursdays when its $0.50 boneless wings. They have a ton of wing sauces to choose from too - my favorite is the garlic parmesan. Oakwood also has really good burgers and sandwiches. Sides arent included with burgers or sandwiches, but I recommend getting a side of curly fries or tots to split if you go with a group - theyre so good and its a pretty decently sized portion. The salads are also really good - their caesar is fantastic, and the Fly Southwest is one of my favorite things on the menu.The only downside is Oakwood doesnt really have any good happy hour special, and the drink prices are kind of high.On the weekends they sometimes have live music too!

My father was at Beaumont having surgery so I stepped out for some fresh air. I drove down to the bar for lunch. It was a nice atmosphere, the food was good and the waitress was very pleasant.

This is a hidden gem!!! Everything on the menu sounded sooooo good. Tried the pulled pork sandwich. Delicious!!! The serving size to me seemed huge. They did not skimp. Reasonably priced. Will be going back soon!!!

Bartenders were more worried about doing shots and talking with each other than taking care of the customers. Waited 5min for all the employees to gather and do shots before anyone even LOOKED at us. Then sat for another 5min with an empty glass in front of us before any of the bartenders noticed. NOT RECOMMENDED😠 well over a half hour for one beer.
This little gem has awesome food every time I go there. Whether you want boneless wings and a pint or petite filet with lump crab and a Hollandaise sauce with roasted redskin potatoes, everything is great.
I think the food is very good for a bar and grill, I am thinking Applebees or Max and Ermas ish.. They have new weekly menu list outside their normal menu that always keeps it new. The staff is is solid and very responsive. I think only 1-2 times it was slow in 3 years and still it was good. The Oakwood Grill is our goto place for after work parties. If you are going for lunch go at 11 if you can, because of Ford. I am not familiar with the place for dinner or after hours. They do have good TVs for sports, but I would not call it a sports bar.

Food is good as long as you get it during the day or early evening. The sign reads late night service but kitchen seems to be closed every time I go late night or they had lots of orders that night and closing the kitchen because they are tired and hot.
Went with large group. Server handled us well. Several TVs. Open layout. Been awhile since Ive been there. Grew up in the neighborhood.
The shrimp fettuccine was almost as good as the service.
All but 1 bartenders is good there. Used to be a regular. But I guess your taken for granted when you tip for the service. Most of the time its a 70% tip. But when ignored 2X on separate occasions by same person hugging an kissing on whom I was told manager.Time to move on

We hold many retirement parties here. Excellent place to meet friends and mingle. Food here is very good plus you have many TVs to watch games.
First time we went the food was great so we decided to go back. The second time I was completely dissatisfied. Got a to go order and paid nearly $15 for the seafood ravioli and got only 5 raviolis.
Lunch time,waited a full hour for three burger, fries and drinks. Other tables came and were served promptly. This was some time ago though. Hope they have improved.

After a hard days work in the ford plant, I figured i oughtta settle down at my favorite sports bar. But It changed alot. Upon arrival with my family and kids, one of the workers was drunk and kept using NSFW language around my kids. It was a trainwreck. The food was sub par, and thats being generous. And Ed, Im not coming back to your establlishment every again unless you get your stuff together hire a half-competent custodian and learn how to clean up the bathrooms. I cant even think in my mind a time I will ever want to visit again, what with the foul urine smell that riddles the bathrooms and the surronding area. I gave my son 1 dollar to try out one of the arcade games, and it ate the dollar. upon asking an employee for assistance he told me and i quote: &@^! you you inbred psycho!!! I hate this place. never coming back. 5/5 stars.

2022-03-16Oakwood grille is by far one of my favorite restaurants downriver. Everything on the menu is fresh and made from scratch . Never had one bad thing ! It is so good it should be a chain or have multiple restaurants. It took me over 5 Years of driving passed it and finally tried it out ! So glad I did ! Everything on the menu is exceptionally well priced with such high quality ingredients ! More people need to go!10 out of 10 !!!

2022-06-26Food was good, vegetables lacked seasoning. I like the ambience but with all the tables and chairs, it seemed sort of crowded. Leg spacing didnt match the height of some tables so knee bumps constantly. Attentive waitress, good customer service, expansive menu. Id return If I was ever in the area again but probably only for take out.

2022-02-06My husband and I stopped at this bar and I will say the food was good however, our server was not it. I had the Ahi tuna along with some wings and my husband enjoyed his steakhouse burger with the big onion rings. Drinks are a little over priced. Our waitress was to busy at the table behind us hanging out doing shots with the group of young men. It took her forever for us to get our tab as she was to busy taking her shots. Food was good, service was bare minimum at least with the waitress we had.

2022-05-17Ive been here a few times for a mid-workday lunch. Usually a group of 4-6. Everything Ive had has been excellent, and Ive only ever heard similar comments from my companions. The only complaint I have is that the food takes a while to come out - keeping in mind that Ive been eating during the lunch rush, so I understand the reasoning.

2022-04-15Food was good, had the stuffed mushrooms and a turkey reuben sandwich. Drinks were good. Service was terrible. Not attentive. We had to go get our own silverware and napkins. Server blamed it on none being rolled, while the servers were standing around just chatting. It has an interesting decor.

2022-04-21I have been going there for over 10 years, 5 years ago they had a great chef!! There quality of food has gone down immensely! Their prices are high. I dont mind paying high prices for great food. This place I would not recommend! It has been a great disappointment for about 3 years now.
