Worst place ever went in for copys finally some one came to help us ,he shows the preview both sides were right, then he prints it and they come out upside down from front to back then dude gose you seen the preview, I say it was right on the preview , still had to pay over 16 dollars for copys , i ended up throwing them out in the parking lot trash , we wont use them again
They werent very helpful. I asked someone to show me where lables were, she was working in the printing department. She said, I dont know. You will have to ask someone on the floor because I dont work in that department, rather than saying, Im not sure, but let me see if I can get someone to help you; thats good customer service.
I like the clean and professional atmosphere here. Every time I place an order from the Internet and then go to the store to pick it up. The staff is always warm and professional, and I feel at home every time I come. And here you can buy all the office supplies you need very comprehensive
I wanted to have a copy made off of my phone, at my local Office Max in Canton on Ford and Morton Taylor Rds. I’ve done it many times, today at approximately 5:30 I was told by the young lady at the print area that it would take 48 hours, it is literally a 2 minute job. I asked for the manager, she told me the same nonsense that she only had the one girl there and they have to take orders as they come in, apparently previous or online, she told me I could try the Northville Store 40 minutes away, NOT. Now as someone who’s been in retail customer service for over 30 years, every customer is important, but the one standing in front of you is the most important at that time. The managers job is to diffuse a potential unhappy customer, address the situation and find a solution, each and every time. In this case it would have been to just print the item from my phone so I could fax it, instead now you have an angry customer contacting your corporate office and social media platforms. Customers are what made you the corporate giant you think you are, they can and will be your demise. Try treating them better. When a customer gets good service they will tell others, when they get bad service they will tell many more. I’m certain you likely know which one I am. Thank You -Your newest former customer.
Don’t try and use their self service copy machines. I am a teacher, I know how to use a copy machine. I needed personal copies made so I came to Office Depot with my usb. Every other print the machine would freeze, I’d wait 5 minutes let an employee know and they would just reset the machine. So I had to reset up my payment which puts a $5 hold on your card every time. This happened 3 times with the first machine then I tried the second and it also happened. Don’t offer a self service station if it is not going to work properly. This is a copy job that should have taken me a grand total of 5 minutes. Im leaving 30 minutes with only 3 of my 12 items printed. Im just giving up at this point.
Needed help with some printing issues. I asked a young lady working there for help and she turned out to be the most efficient and patient person I have ever encountered in customer service. Her name is Chanel she is a 10/10 at her job and she just got her store a 5 🌟 rating from me!!!
If I could I would have given this store a big fat zero! I am a RN that worked all day and had to have some papers turned into my attorney because I am going through a horrible divorce! This guys talks to me in a very condescending way! He told me that if I wanted anything done I needed to go to the self serve machine!First of all when I entered the store they all were talking and saw me come in the store , but it was a few minutes before they helped me! I never used the machine to fax or scan documents there! I was there trying to do the work from 7:01 pm until it closed at 8pm! The so called manager I told him about the other guys attitude, which he lack any compassion! I can say he was helping me, but I had one more copy to try to pull it up on my phone and email to Office Max, but it didn’t go through! With all that he tells me mama we close in 4 minutes! I want to be in tears at that time , but keep my composure! The nerve of you to tell me you close, but when I entered the store the three employees were congregating in the front so they wasted my time!😡😡😡😡😡
I will literally never go back to this place again. I went in on a Friday to drop off a print job for large upcoming meetings and just asked that it be ready Sunday for pickup. They told me they would print it that night and call me when it was ready. Come Sunday I hadn’t heard anything so I called and asked when it would be ready. They ended up losing my order. They then said they found my document on the computer but couldn’t do double sided anymore because their printer was now down. Then they called me saying they were having issues with my files (which they opened just fine on Friday). I asked if it could be moved to a different store and was told they would call me back- they never did. I had to follow up yet again. They did move it to the other location but now I have to drive an hour to get it. I am not the type out just looking for a discount but I feel like they should do something to make it right. I asked if they intended to and they told me I need to take it up with the new store. Look- I get computers and printers have issues and sometimes you can’t do anything about it but the management, lack of followup and inability to make a situation like this right is what I seriously can’t understand. Do yourself a favor and just go somewhere else.Update: I did reach out to your company per the below and while I appreciate the seemingly eagerness to help, no one has replied and it’s been a week. About the same level of service there as in the store.
Unfortunately I had the WORST experience at this location. The customer service was absolutely terrible. I went in on a Saturday to have 25 post cards printed. I got there at 11 am and was told they could not guarantee it would be done the same day, although their policy states it should have been done that day. I was polite still and said that I could wait until Sunday. I called Sunday at 5 pm because I had not heard back and was told they were done and I could pick them up. When I get there, my print outs had white lines all over them and looked terrible. I asked for them to be redone and was told they would be. I called back Monday and was told they were still not ready. Tuesday morning I called to check on them again and was rudely told they were not done yet and that whoever worked Monday didnt get them done. I asked for them to be completed that day and expressed my frustration and was told by Rob at the print center Okay, okay, okay and was hung up on. I called back to speak with a supervisor who was also rude and told me that Rob hung up because he assumed the conversation was over, mind you I was still speaking when he hung up. I did not hear anything back so I decided at 6 pm to stop by and check on them. Still not done. I spoke with the store manager, Thor, who just got back from vacation and he had no idea what was going on (which was understandable). He also, was pretty rude and never once apologized, only blamed it on everyone else. At this time I asked for a refund. He seemed to have a pretty bad attitude which I get you dont want to deal with this from vacation however as a manger your job is to apologize and rectify the situation, not have an attitude and huff and puff about doing YOUR JOB. I will never return to this location and would not recommend that anyone go here for their printing needs. They wasted 4 days of my time and traveling back and forth at 5 months pregnant was extremely stressful. Management and overall customer services is extremely lacking and unprofessional.
They try hard but you cant expect too much from minimum wage slogs. Unless they attack you when entering the store. Only then will you be assured of getting exactly the wrong part with just the right description. Be prepared to return at least twice to get it right the first time. Printer ink especially.
Terrible customer service. The employees are lazy and have no interest in helping customers. I was trying to locate something I had seen on the OfficeMax website the day before. I had left my phone in the car, and after no success in locating the item, I asked an associate for help. As usual, the employees never seen to know anything about the products and always have to call to inquire from another associate....who, in this case informed the associate helping me to check multiple aisles because they had no clue. The associate ended up telling me to search for myself. He could have looked the item up on the store computer, but he was completely uninterested and lethargic. Sadly, I always get this service from OfficeMax. I wish there was an alternative office supply store in my area, because I would use it. Instead I will go to Staples near my office. I just hate the inconvenience; but even more, I really hate seeing people getting paid to do nothing. Terrible way to treat the very people you want to give you money!
I want thank the young lady that works at the printing department I believe her name is Angelina she has been very nice and professional on helping me get everything I have been needing in the last week. Its beautiful when you go to a store and receive great customer service. I am from Texas and working here in Michigan she has made my job a lot easier. I will definitely keep coming back to get all my printing and scanning done here. Again thank you for being such a great person.
Very poor service. Both self-serve copiers were down. What should have been a 5 minute process turn into a half hour wait behind 2 customers. When I suggested my copies should be free I ended up with 3 sales persons laughing at me. Service has suffered after the merger.
Wasted my time. I placed an online order for pick up in store for my business. This location was the only one that had it in stock so I drove an hour to come get it. I finally arrive to find that they didn’t have it. They didn’t call to tell me, apologize, or try to find one in another store. 👎🏼
So i arrived here at 2:59pm today and a guy with a shirt written independent on it was standing behind the counter I simply asked him if the self serve machines were available.He said yes.One was occupied and the only other one I went to said lane closed.I simply went back to him to indicate it said closed his expression was rude he looked at me and said in a most haughty manner excuse me can you ask someone else to help you Im off the clock.I walked away to another person sitting behind a desk who heard what the man told me.I told him they should put up a sign to.indicate who is on off the clock.The young man with the glasses and the blue independent shirt retorted at me I should put up a sign. This was poor disgusting customer service by Mr.Independent.The other young man assisted me very quickly and I left and posted this at exactly 3:03pm .
I liked the days when Office Depot and OfficeMax was not one company. They layout of Office Depot was better, however the staff at OfficeMax is more friendlier. There is nothing bad or outstanding I can say about this. Its been in its location for years and is thriving. For specialty service this is the best (and maybe only) game in town :-)
I would have marked it a 6... I bought a computer for Christmas for my son. While it was supposed to do what my son wanted, it was incredibly slow. I went to OfficeMax to see if I could return it. I was there on a Sunday and the shift manager said that it was outside the 14 day return policy and that I would have to talk to the Manager. I went back the next morning and Ron, the Assistant Manager was waiting for me. He immediately told me they would do the transfer and he helped me pick out a new one. They deleted all the files from the original computer and set up the new one for me. It was almost like having Christmas twice for my son. I really appreciated the way they took care of it and did not just follow the rules but focused on the customer. I will be back and refer others to go!!
Never ever drop a package in this FedEx location.Bunch of Liars. I dropped a package here & was told to get it delivered on Sunday. They also showed the same on their screen for confirmation. Reality is FedEx will actually pick parcels only on Mondays after Friday evening. Its already 3 days past their promised delivery date & its still in Chicago in transit status for St Louis destination.
Your employees are so pushy! Went in to fax some papers and while waiting had at least 5 different ones question me if I need help, and they can see/hear the other one ask and still attempt. Then the extermely rude bald headed worker working April 24th 2019 around 5:30 came up and asked if I needed help and I said no he rolled his eyes asked again and I said no. This place is ridiculous and I will never come here again.
Terrible customer service, purchased shredded they sold me a 2 year extended warranty on it, now 8 month later it stopped working, I took it back to store, manager told they cannot do anything at store. She gave me a phone # to call that no one answers without giving them a customer #, which is BS. So they sell you extended warranty then when you need to use it they give you the ring around that leads to no we’re. Stay away, purchase elsewhere.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Ive given this store at least 6 chances and literally every time theyre unable to do what they advertise they do - whether printing, shipping, online orders - they cant figure out any of it. And their service is the worst. They treat customers like theyre a burden and no one is accountable. While you might have to drive a little further for services or supplies but it will save you time and frustration to go elsewhere.
Nice place. It has a decent parking lot, handicapped parking and doors, good back to school sales and reasonable regular prices. Fun items and discount impulse buys, plus the usual office and college and school supplies. (I did not check which electronics or furniture they might have, on this last visit. )
I come to do my Printing for my business I am not good at technology I go to AngelinaShe is the best she is held me without her I going to do nothing you should come to see her anytime you need anything she is the best I’ve been seeing her for two years my lucky day when I see her you should definitely come and see her for all your brain things
Angelina was fabulous-- oh so patient as this 50-something, technically-challenged mom needed to open, extract, download, send, and print pics for a grad party, and DIDNT know how to do it! Angelina took the time to do it FOR ME, then passed it on to Andrew, who finished it up and cashed me out with a smile! Thanks!!
Walked in for micro hdmi to standard hdmi cable (for a gopro). Walked right back out. They had only one. Was just 2 inches in length, and was only the converter and didnt include the standard hdmi male end. They wanted $30.00 for it.Bought 6ft length with the male end on amazon for 7 dollars.Will never go to OfficeMax without price matching first. OfficeMax maxes out your office budget with overpriced items and poor quality knock-offs.

2022-05-18My husband accidentally bought the wrong cartridge and I wanted to help so I returned it to get the correct cartridge. I asked a clerk if he could help, and the gentleman I worked with was so calm and kind and down to earth it literally brought tears to my eyes. He helped me get the right package and the most value. In my opinion, he set himself and this store so far above the rest just in his authentic and good hearted demeanor.

2022-04-07As with most retail stores these days, associates are sparse but helpful when sought out. I knew what I was looking for on this particular visit and didnt need additional assistance because the aisles are clearly marked.The associate at checkout was especially helpful with questions I had about my selections prior to ringing up my purchases. I think they do a great job despite the staffing shortages.

2022-03-29Went in and waited in line for over five minutes at the print area. Until the line started building up no one came over to help any of us. Was told it would take 24 to 36 hours to run a poster through their laminator because apparently I was number 30 in line, but number one in person. I was in just two days prior and the woman told me it would not be a problem at all.She laminated my friends poster and it literally took 60 seconds.Attendant was rude and unhelpful.

2022-06-10Terrible place for shipping. They dont have specific instructions on which queue is for printing and which is for shipping. Wasted my entire hour before finding out that the shipping queue is different.They also dont take customers in order you come in. Randomly point to people and ask what they need and start helping them while other prior arriving customers just wait in line.In the shipping queue, somebody with 15 packages to ship cut me off but the store associate did not care. Instead of processing quickly he was just telling stories about how he is in 30s and wasting his life, how his GF broke up with him. etc. Very unprofessional.If you need to ship FedEx, go to the actual kiosk in Plymouth or USPS store on Canton Center.

2017-10-01The inventory is sparse. The staff is rude and appears untrained. Prices are high for paper and other basics. Copying and printing services, when the machines are working, are expensive and of poor quality. I only go here if I absolutely need ink and every other place is closed.
