I RARELY leave reviews. But this company across the board is a joke. Rude and Pretentious printer/manager. Instead of being helpful they had an attitude from the beginning about my business cards not being centered. Same day business cards are also a false advertisement. I was charged even though I said to cancel the order. Had to call a call center to receive a refund. GO TO STAPLES!!!!. 500 business cards for $15 SAME DAY GUARANTEE and their application perfectly fits your logo to the business card if youre not tech savvy like me or a King printer like the employee at this location.
Sarah at the print counter was such a big help to me today! I was reprinting pieces for my portfolio and she helped me with choosing the right card stock and loading the self service printer. When some of my prints came out streaky, she helped me with printing them on the department printers, instead. Thanks so much, Sarah, and Ill be sure to go to this location for my printing needs in the future!
I hardly ever write bad reviews. Had to work from home so couldnt go with my wife and her mother to pick up a new desk. Marlin was completely rude with them, snapping at my family, telling them it was going to take a long time to get the hutch from the back then returning moments later to again RUDELY state it wouldnt be in for a few weeks. How do you have the bottom half of a desk but not the top? And not know what you have in stock ? And if thats the case fine but dont be rude to my family I know DAMN well they showed you respect and intended to spend good money. Which we still did but certainly wont be coming there again. Reading other reviews shows the same; terrible customer service.
The customer service here is very disappointing I’ve been using this OfficeMax for all my prints for my event service and the thanks I get is horrible my banner I ordered was messed up and when I came to see if there was any solution at the printer station as I was talking the guy kept cutting me off and then the phone rang and he did even say one moment or excuse me or anything. Then waited 10-15 minutes while he was on the phone and then decided to just get a refund wasn’t able to get a refund at the store had to go through online center everyone gave off an “I really don’t care attitude” I just wanted it replaced in the first place got it replaced while I was putting the order in to get it replaced the guy was still rude and told me the picture on the banner will be the same size before my husband picked it up for me just got it and the picture is smaller on the banner *sighs” I’m just so disappointed and the best part was I didn’t not once get a “I apologize for your inconvenience” or how about for the inconvenience here’s $5 off your banner a coupon anything could of helped and please “owner” don’t put that automated fake apology under my review to seem like you care because you and your staff clearly don’t!
Horrible and rude Staff!!I went tonight at 7:30 pm to print some documents, there was nobody there to help, for it was my first time printing at an office. I saw a computer that was to the customer side, so I assumed we can use it to download and print out our papers. Few seconds later, an African American lady came rushing us from it with a horrible attitude saying it was not for public use, we apologies telling her we didn’t know and it was our first time and there was no sign indicating extra charge. She went on saying let the cashier in the front know you should be charged for computer use. The service was horrible and very rude. It is our first and last time coming here, we are very disappointed.
A former employees point of view.I most definitely see the points the other reviewers are making, in regard to the Print and Copy area and the store overall. As a former associate of the Print area, my biggest issue working there is the fact that we needed more than one person on duty. Most people see the Print area as quiet and less busy, but most of the time we were prepping and working on online orders. We got those a lot. So to work on those and trying to service in-store customers became an issue because we did get a lot of irrational in-store customers who didnt care what our cut off times were. Some want 1000 copies and fully mounted posters immediately, not taking into consideration what else we have to do. So I always thought having two associates per shift would help because one can take care of the projects while the other can serve those in the store.Management was also an issue. The best manager in the store is Vani. Following her is Nishelle. Theyve been the most helpful to me personally in my growth during my time there. There were times when I even resented them, but I also understand that they couldnt always hold my hand or come to my aid when I needed them. I needed to learn this stuff on my own. And while I have done so, its not as quick as others because some of this work takes months to learn. Weve also dealt with failed machines, therefore bad machines and impatient customers...its not a good mix.So, my experience overall was not the best, but there were a few bright spots. I hope the place thrives with a better strategy and maybe some kind of overhaul going forward. I wish them luck, but Ive been pretty happy since leaving.
Two times Ive gone in with a copy order just to be sent away and told that they cant get it done same day, but that it will take them at least 24 hours. I then go to a different location and they copy 1000 pages in 3 hours and tell me that its not actually a complicated job and that they hear complaints about this store all the time. The supervisor, Walt, has zero sense of urgency and severely lacks customer service skills. I asked if he could print just some of my documents and I was told no, they are too busy. He then continues to take new customers after me (printing their things immediately, even laminating some!) even though he said they are too busy to do even a portion of my copy order. He also told me that he cant download my documents from the site while the other store had no problems downloading them. Ive seen reviews from over a year ago naming Walt, not sure how he still has a job there, but if you need print services, go to a different location. I suggest the Warren one, they are amazing there.
Christina, print gal extraordinaire, took my mailing list converting and figuring out how to format it correctly to create labels and did a great job printing it out while juggling another client’s project. This is the third year I’ve gone to Office Max for this particular service and again, I was very pleased. All of the sales associates were welcoming and solicitous.
I wanted to print some pictures and was told that each photo would cost $30, to edit sizing. So I made an online order instead and struggled with the system while the associate would not offer assistance. I came back the next day to pick up my order and only half of it was complete, in the wrong size, and printed quite dark. Redoing it in the right size took five minutes. So... it was frustrating.
The tall lady that helped me this morning was HORRIBLE! Didn’t get to see a name but I believe it started with an M reading the register. Gave attitude the entire time like I’m supposed to know where things are and where to checkout. Very unhappy. Spent $500+ in the past few days and I will be taking all my business elsewhere!
Weve never had issues with other employees as theyre always super helpful and friendly but its always something with Walter. Weve been coming here for years for simple prints, always ready to go on our flash drive since we dont want to be those customers who waste an employees time by not knowing what we need. However, all of our issues always happen with Walter, whether its not knowing how to open a .png file on a computer or simply ignoring us to instead serve the person who was behind us in line when we tried telling him we just needed a few simple prints from our flash drive. Considering how long weve been coming here, you would think we could get a more familiar greeting than the robotic mantra he gives us every time we show up. Not to mention the obvious discomfort he causes for the people around him, but were definitely not planning on coming back any time soon if this passes as acceptable behavior these days. Honestly, how does he still have this job.
I went here on a whim after a super unfortunate visit to Best Buy trying to find a keypad adapter to my laptop. The gentleman who assisted us was SO helpful! Even though there wasnt a lot in stock, I knew this was a niche product that wasnt high in demand.I was thankful for his willingness to help, and I walked out with a product that did the job. Kudos!
Poor customer service. Have used Office Depot many times for printing since my company has a corporate account. Today during my visit was introduced to the new printing process. The lady behind the desk ( appeared to be the manager) was very unpleasant. She did not provide assistance just told me to read the hand out and follow directions. In addition I had difficulties with the self service machine printing my documents and providing a receipt and she would not help. I understand that everyone has a bad day but If this the best representation of a manager that Office Depot portrays would recommend upper management to retrainWILL NOT USE THIS LOCATION AGAIN OR RECOMMEND.
Rude manager on duty unwilling to help and made it obvious he did not want to be talked to. I Waited in line for 40 minutes to have a paper printed. The employee was a bit slow at his job so he called for help over the radio and was ignored for 20 minutes. Someone finally shows up to help and after helping on person leaves. I only had two people in front of me so there is no reason the wait should have been so long. I am very disappointed in the customer I receivedtonight. .
Terrible experience at this location trying to buy printer toner! Rep was more interested in selling me a toner subscription than just what I wanted! Dont you want to save money?! he snapped at me. I saved a LOT. I left without buying anything. Logging on to Amazon right now ...
I just want to say I am extremely disappointed with the customer service I received from Office Max especially with the amount of money I spent . I will not be returning or purchasing anything else from Office Max/ Office Depot again ! The desk I came there for, said it was in stock and when I got there it wasn’t so I was told I could have the display there were some very visible scratches on there and marks and I was told there would be no discount and sold as is ! Then I was told I would have to take it apart my self if I wanted to take it home . My dad had to go get a tool and take it apart himself with no one helping or anything no one rolled the flatbed out or even really tried to help and I spent 400 dollars I won’t ever be back .
We bought a very inexpensive computer to do our taxes on.This computer had issues with that running our tax program. I called and dealt with managers parker and Tim. Both extremely helpful and understanding. They acomodated our exchange even though we had not even unboxed our computer until after the 14 day return policy.He then went out of his way to help us choose a better option for our needs and when they didnt have it in stock he located it at a different store and had them put it on hold for us.Thanks for the great customer service.
Horrible experience, I was waiting for help to find an external hard drive. Jessica Brucki was the manager and was in NO WAY HELPFUL. She was clearly more interested in socializing with a male customer. When she finally looked my way I asked if she could help me find a external hard drive she said theyre on the wall, theyre are all the same, I asked her to come there with me because I didnt want to get it wrong, (I only had a pic of what I was supposed to buy) and there was only item numbers on the wall. She said there is no difference except the space and went back to talking to the young man that was her age and handsome. I just went to the wall tp try to figure it out and a helpful employee Aaron Feuer, helped me we figured it out together (Thank you so much again). Jessica may need some retraining as a manager or maybe at the very least a boyfriend? so she can be free to help all her customers appropriately.
Purchased a Dell Laptop 9/19, as a gift and given on 10/3. The computer ran slowly from the start and within about 2 days the screen would freeze. Decided to return the laptop on 10/8 and was told I couldnt, ad it had been longer than 14 days and the the box was too damaged. No where on the receipt was there any indication of a 14 day return policy, nor was it stated that the box the item came in needed to comply with any standard to return! Mind you, the box was in fine condition, being torn only on the flap where it was held closed. Upon purchase, I did ask the young salesman if It could be returnex or exchanged if it wasnt what my sister had wanted, he said yes. He also wasbt aurw if the laptop was compatible with the wireless printer I was buying to go with the laptop? I was supposed to get aome gift card free for purchasing this specific Dell and didnt! We know have a laptop that isnt working, cant be used as intended and are out several hundred dollars! The employees were rude and the manager could have cared less about customer satisfaction.
THE WORST PLACE TO DO BUSINESS WITH!!!! IVE BEEN WAITING FOR MY NOTARY STAMP FOR 2 WEEKS! THEY TOLD ME MULTIPLE TIMES THAT THEY WOULD PUT A RUSH ON IT BUT NEVER DID!!! IT FINALLY CAME IN YESTERDAY AND THE GIRLS IN THE BACK DO NOT GIVE A S$%# IF YOU HAVE BEEN WAITING TO LEGALIZE IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS! I CALLED THEM YESTERDAY FOR THEM TO TELL ME IT DIDNT COME IN! I CALLED THEM THIS MORNING AND THEY SAID ITS THERE! I WENT THERE AND ASKED THEM WHEN DID IT COME IN? THEY TOLD ME THAT IT CAME IN 45 MIN AFTER I CALLED THEM YESTERDAY BUT THEY LOST MY NUMBER AND THAT THEY WERE TOO BUSY!!!! HOW DO YOU DO THAT WHEN I HAD GIVEN IT TO THE STORE 5 TIMES!!!! SO INCONSIDERATE! DO NOT GO HERE!! GO ANYWHERE ELSE

2022-03-30Great customer service by Walt. He went above and beyond to make sure that I got the important copies that I needed. I had made 3 to 4 attempts at another office store and they were unable/unwilling to help assist and figure out the problem. Walt is to be commended because he was the only one who really took the time to make sure I got what I needed, along with saving extra money on ink. Great customer service!!

2022-06-29This location has not had a functioning giftcard rack for OVER 2 YEARS!!!. every time they run a sale on giftcars you cant get it here because it is BROKEN according to the store associates. Gas is expensive and to have to drive to other scattered location to get their giftcard sale is ridiculous.

2022-07-11I ordered a printing with blueprint option, because that was the option I wanted and I needed. I was waiting for a notification for pick up, but instead I received a call saying that I have to cancel that and to order poster format, which I didnt want and need it. So she cancelled it without caring that I needed that printing today! So I had to re-order to another shop!Maam, people order what they want and what they need, not what you like to sell!

2022-03-31You can buy paper online cheap and quick.But you can find the very specific tone and weight of paper in the size you need, a sketchbook/journal with a silicone top for use in an art studio, and weight the pros and cons of various micropoint pen sets for your specific needs, all at the same time, if you have some excellent customer service helping you out, like theyve got here.If you need something specific and arent in the mood to spend two hours squinting at an image of a blank sheet of paper, trying to determine its physical properties by visual osmosis, they have employees that actually know their stock and products.
