Thorough review: amazing. The overall ambience was very relaxing, the cool tone colors and relaxing music was very welcoming. I also liked the floor plan, the option to sit next to the window parallel to the booths was a smart idea so I didn’t have to sit shoulder-to-shoulder with strangers or have to stare at them while I eat. The menu was small compared to some restaurants but I liked the limited options since I sometimes get overwhelmed with the decisions. My date and I both got the miso ramen bowl and we were super happy and surprised with the sizes! They were huge for only $13 and came with so many ingredients! I thought the display was super cute with the authentic bowl and spoon and the tray with decorative napkin was adorable. We also got Thai milk tea which was suuuuuuper sweet so I would recommend it as a dessert. My date didn’t realize how spicy the chili paste was and was sweating over his ramen the rest of the night. Overall, cute vibe, delicious food, super sweet Thai tea, and VERY spicy chili paste. 5/5 will be going there again :)
Delicious! We had the crispy rolls, satay chicken, Wonton soup, Mongolian Beef, Szechuan Chicken, and Tonkotsu Ramen. Fabulous. Lots of flavor. Not too spicy. Nice restaurant. Friendly staff. Quick service. Highly recommend!

Acceptable food quality for a typical Fusion offering, but doesnt lean in any synergy between dishes or appetizers, and doesnt provide a strong experience in any category.
We have been there quite a few times and loved it! The staff is friendly, decor is nice and the food is, in my estimation ,the best Asian cuisine in Holland and neighboring area!
We a great dinner here this evening. My son loved his Tonkatsu Ramen which had a very flavorful broth. The Chicken Satay appetizer was tasty. The Mongolian Beef was good although it was a little too sweet for my liking and would be better if it included more beef compared to the wealth of onions. We will definitely be back!
The food here is excellent! I have tried red curry at dozens of restaurants and this is near the best I’ve ever had. (I do skip the bamboo shoots and add pineapple and broccoli. ) The Panang curry was delicious as well. All the food was served piping hot and the service was very friendly.
Wasnt impressed with the restaurant. The food was ok but I think it was microwaved and not cooked to order, I heard microwaves beeping but no pots and pans being used as with other Chinese restaurants. They are pricey as well. Double the price of others. Staff was friendly but the food was high priced.
Big props to my server! she was working solo and did a great job! I believe her name is Kate? I dont really recall, haha.I enjoyed the pad thai a lot! Will definitely be coming back soon.
The house salad was too Spicy, and the Ramen needed more flavor and noodles.

As somebody whos been spoiled by a very nice family run sushi and ramen spot up in Big Rapids for the last five years that had recently shut down the S/O and I have been looking for an alternative, unfortunately OI Asian Bistro just leaves much to be desired in the way of taste and menu items.The menu is small, limited, and rather gentrified to fit the aesthetic of the rest of downtown which is where the faults start. When ordering we were told nearly half the items were not available that night, and the stuff we did end up getting? You could do better yourself with instant ramen and minute rice. The ramen had a good broth and good pork, but thats where the good stuff ends. I also made the mistake of ordering the chicken as an add-on to the ramen (Its fried so have fun having soggy chicken). In the end the food was not worth the price equivalent of a nice Hibachi steak dinner at the local Hibachi restaurant.However, I do think with a little elbow grease and some menu edits/rearrangements once more customer reviews come in this place has a major potential niche just like its sushi counterpart down the road.
The noodle of ramen was too the restaurant is too understaffed. You will have to wait one straight hour to get your food.
Not worth it, bland food, cold and univiting for a ramen shop (modernism isnt a good look), and way too expensive. Better luck going to the bar next door. Even without half their beers on tap they got more than this Asian bistro does.

We had the Pho beef, thai beef noodle, tonkatsu ramen, and tantan ramen for the 4 of us. All of us loved our dishes. My two kids are picky and they love the beef pho and tonkatsu ramen.
Went here for the first time today and loved it! Service was great and the food was even better. Happy to have some good Asian cuisine in the area.

Excellent meal. Ramen was superb and the pad Thai was equally awesome. Get the veggie egg rolls as the appetizer. You won’t regret it.

I love the aesthetic of the place! It is a nice sit down restaurant. It makes you feel welcome and at home. Such beautiful pictures and trinkets and to make it 100% better they have beautiful r and b music playing! The food is good and comes off as a homemade Japanese meal. The service and place was so nice that I tipped an extra 10 dollars because it feels good to be served in such a nice manner. And for those who care they are ServeSafe certified, and have it on their wall for every customer to see. I cannot explain my enjoyment and I will be coming back!
The BEST Asian food I have had in a long time. The egg rolls were light, crispy, and delicious. The Penang Curry, chicken satay, and Beef dish were also excellent and tasty. And for those who need a bit more spice the pot of chili mixture will definitely do the trick! And, the lovely wait staff will bring us back soon.

2022-09-03We were fortunate enough to find this place while visiting the lovely beaches in the area. The location is a small part of the downtown area and can be easily missed. This would be unfortunate as it will be a destination spot for us in the future.The place was relatively empty when we arrived. We quickly got seated and our server was very nice. you do get a sense that it might be a family run business and it almost felt like we were interrupting them for dinner. Lol.There were several dishes ordered here and everyone of them was really good! I can say that we split the pineapple fried rice with everyone in the group and one person in our group loved it so much they wish they would’ve ordered it for their main meal.The general Taos chicken was the best I’ve had. The outside coating was crispy yet thin enough to not drown out the chicken. The sauce associated with it was flavorful but not too spicy. The beef plate that I ordered was probably the most expensive at $16, however it was really tasty. The meat was tender and super flavorful. The added vegetables in the plate just complemented everything. The various soup dishes were a bit spicy, so if you don’t like spice, I would not recommend these. The pad Thai was good, however lacked a bit of flavor. It seemed everything was very fresh!I would highly recommend this place as a dinner or lunch spot. If you like Thai or Chinese type food, this place will not let you down.

2022-05-18This is a hidden gem in Holland. We tried the Thai Beef Noodle, Beef and Broccoli, Pork Satay and Crab Rangoon. Everything was excellent. Their menu is filled with basics and they do them well. My husband and I agreed that the quality of their ingredients overall was excellent. Their Thai chili oil is some of the best Ive had. Would absolutely recommend and we will for sure return, there are so many more things on their menu I need to try.Also, our waitstaff was excellent. It was busy and she was solo and she rocked.

2022-06-08I went here with a large party and we ordered several different things. Everyone liked their food, the food was hot, and it was relatively quick. General Tsos chicken was crispy with just the right amount of seasoning. The Thai iced tea was especially creamy and tasted good. My meal by itself was almost $20 for one person for this area (before tip), which is on the high end for lunch. I was very pleased and hope to come back. It was a little bit pricey, but sometimes I think you get what you pay for.

2022-06-01Me and my bf absolutely love it here! The staff is so friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is clean and minimalistic. The food is super super good and the price point is unbeatable. It’s become one of our favorite little places to grab a quick bite.

2021-12-08I’ve been waiting anxiously ever since I heard the news of a ramen house in Holland! I think a lot of people are confused when they try real ramen. It’s a broth based dish not a noodle main dish. As such the broth is the thing we are talking about here… Very delicious and palatable, the ginger added an amazing kick to it, noodles were cooked perfect and the egg was perfectly textured! Not too runny, not overcooked. I’ve eaten and made shoyu and tonkutsu ramen from scratch, I’m always nervous I’ll be let down but not this time. Very happy! 2022-09-10Really authentic oriental food I was very pleased with all of the ingredients, portions, quality, no bad comments whatsoever my kids are 1yr and 2yrs old and they absolutely loved it. If youre looking for a great place to eat with authenticity and freshness please dont overlook this place.
