Ollies Bargain Outlet in other cities:
Ollies Bargain Outlet in Westland MI is a great place to find good deals on a variety of products. I tend to pop in once a week to see what theyve placed on display for a very nominal fee. Not only are the regular prices great, they can be discounted further through the use of coupons (Ollies) which are mailed to you or sent to your phone or email. I highly recommend this store.
Fake Food - Utz - Crab Chips - NO NO NO Crab seasons !!!! Listed...?????Manager wouldnt stop selling them corporate decision...Like steak with no meat...Ollies - Wrong to sell them..Utz - Wrong for deceptive packaging - No crab seasonings...and for putting them in stores, deceiving customers...Call n complain..
I went to buy coffee this weekend. The lines were 12 people long. Nonetheless, my cashier, Brenda, was courteous and efficient despite having a nonstop deluge of customers. I left feeling great after talking with her as she rung me up. She had a positive attitude and pleasant demeanor.
Look at the price on this urgo Snow Shovel I Got it for A Steel! $7.99 But Regular price elsewhere.... Look at it... Right less than 1/10th pluss another 15% off the 7.99.Crazy Prices Books i got Rugsfor my House Mohawks Closeout sam as Kohls 7.99 & 7.99 Kohls 59.99 to 89.00. Gotta Love Ollies
They’ve been struggling lately to get good register staff but that’s just a product of the current labour market. Otherwise fun store to shop in. It’s kind of just a treasure hunt. Don’t go there expecting to find some specific thing or you’ll probably be disappointed. Really good prices always and return policy is good as well.
I still havent made it to the store for the item I need (always gone when Im there, yet there is a display advertising the floor tiles I am seeking- I like the pattern and cant find it elsewhere). I have purchased other materials as a substitute but they havent worked for my project. That being said, I like the sub items I have purchased as test replacements.Right now my local store has tight aisles but you can still navigate. There are a few store sections that make me wonder why? Books and rugs/remnants. It is difficult to transport a 12 carpet remnant without a truck. I did see people looking at the shorter pieces (6 I believe). As for books, I have no idea. Ive found a few coloring books there but nothing I would read or give to others.
Great deals, wide variety of merchandise. Including Bath and Beauty items, clothes, DVDs, tools ,rugs ,furniture ,patio furniture, food ,snacks, candy, toys, shoes, appliances, cleaning products, AS SEEN ON TV and more.i noticed everything was much cheaper than other stores. Cant beleive what ive found!
Whats not to love about alis!If youre not careful, its easy to spend well over $100 on lots of things you didnt realize you needed! Its all name brand stuff that was bought on closeout. So a word of caution with that.If you buy in bulk, make sure that what you buy you can use up or can consume before it reaches its expiration date. Sometimes, thats not too far away.Ive never bought anything expired there but usually its less time then if you had bought it at a big box store.
This was my 1st time at the Westland location and I liked it!! I usually go to the one in Ypsilanti and thought to go somewhere else to check out the goods and vibes. I was impressed with the nice staff and the merchandise as you never know what extra stuff youll find. I didnt notice a store manager with a bad attitude like the Ypsilanti store who by the way, has a real potty mouth in front of customers and is not friendly at all! No wonder the employees look beyond stressed. Anyway, I had to rant about that. Ill be going back to Westland in the near future which is located in a shopping center and a Dollar Tree next door...Yesssss!
Love the deals but customer service is terrible. No help getting rugs so I purchased that elsewhere. Then when I went to checkout, the guy checking me out was telling me I needed to put my items in my cart cause he didnt have room to continue scanning. I realize room is limited however, he didnt even bag the items like coloring books, candles, markers and socks. He made me feel like my items were in the way yet he didnt even bag them. Most times I go, checking out is the issue with either them being rude or no cashiers with a long line. Wish there was a location closer.
The store was clean and crowded. I was able to find what I came in for. However the cashier I believed was lazy. A guest in front of me wanted to use her coupon but the cashier had already taken her pymt. Instead of referring her to customer service. She just said she cant do that. Poor customer service. The lady behind me had a return. SMH
I like the store and Ive gone shopping in there many times and I know its been rough on everybody and during the coveted and everything. I asked one of the assistants for some help looking for something and she just pointed and just made a statement well its over there just very nasty she didnt even want to make an attempt to help me or even look it up to see if they even got the shipment I might start going to Taylor I called over there and they were very very nice and friendly over the phone not very disrespectful at all I mean like I said I do like this one but the rudeness of the lady I Im not sure whats going on if youre an employee you should be at least courteous enough but this isnt the first time with this lady.
I love going in their and seeing what they have. Their inventory changes all the time and you will never know what kind of items and prices you will be able to get. I absolutely love just going their and looking. I always find something I need at a amazingly low price for the item. This is the first one I have ever heard of and been into and they do a great job thats for sure
I love this store its what Big Lot used to be as a little of this and a little of that and its all reduced to good pricing really great coffee pod prices shampoo lotion flooring rugs. They have a pretty good-size canned food potato chip snacks type area. Great prices on luggage and bedding. A whole lot of this and that expect to be in there for quite a while. It changes all the time its get it while its there or dont get it
I absolutely love the prices at OlliesI like the turnoverI like the merchandiseI even like the very few people that work there.Which leads me to my only complaint, of one maybe two registers being opened on a Friday Saturday or Sunday afternoon with the lines all the way back to the hardware department and cashiers who are doing the very best, because I’ve done their job , and I know how difficult it is especially in today’s society ...but management cannot make them suffer that kind of abuse .To having people yell at you because you have only one or two registers open is NOT the cashier at fault, , it’s the managements at fault, which is why so I only gave you three stars. You do have a young man there I believe his name is Adam and he is fantastic and deserves a raise or at least a pat on the backI could be wrong about his name, but he’s about 20 years old , thin with dark hair and he works all over the store , He is extremely young and extremely mature and polite. Ollies is lucky to have him
I was surprised by their large book and area rug selections! They had quite a few Christmas decorations that I hadnt found elsewhere too, like chair covers 2/$3.99! Nice selection of bath towels/washcloths/rugs and comforters/blankets. They had hair products, toys, food, automotive items, and flooring! Its a closeout store, so get it when you see it because new stuff is arriving all the time!!
I was impressed with Walt who stated hes willing to help Veteran Organizations. The stores internet kept crashing (so Cash Only) yet Staff were very courteous and calm even though they were dealing with a frustrationing situation, impatient /mad customers. In closing to help things go smoothly have cash just in case.
I like going to this Ollies for a lot of reasons. I am glad my wife took me here the first time about 4 years ago. They have a wide variety of goods of great quality and fantastic prices.Theyve got flooring, books, food, gardening equipment, kitchen equipment and house care materials and tools - and MORE!The staff is upbeat and welcoming. I appreciate the bright atmosphere here even when things get busy and they can get busy. There is plenty of parking and easy in and easy out from the three directions from the parking lot. The restrooms are kept clean and neat. The only drawback I see is the location of the first register in relation to the front door. When leaving you need to kind of double back to get out. Other than that this is a reasonably priced location with great goods for sale.
Although prices on some items are considerably low compared to most stores its lacking in organization. I searched for quite sometime for one item which they ended up not having. It would have been helpful if the aisles simply had signs letting you know what items can be found there. On a positive note they have a great book selection ranging from the Bible and inspirational books to cookbooks and self-help books amongst others. The prices where a lot cheaper than larger chain stores as well as book stores The cashier was very friendly.
Great prices a lot of different things to choose from at discounted prices. Pretty friendly staff as well. They have everything from carpets to tools to air freshener. Like I said a vast variety choices of items for the house or the garage you may need exceptionally well priced you cant be anywhere else almost like a mini Gibraltar Trade Center
This is a basic discount outlet with a lot of variety at a great price. You can get everything from cleaning supplies to linens to some small pieces of furniture. They have all of the basic items you might need, like toothpaste, detergent, shampoo, soap, tissue, and so on, and some not-so-basics like blenders, grills, seasonal items, and a crazy supply of candles.Ive picked up a few small end tables and a large area rug here and love them. Ive also bought way too many bottles of conditioner and tubes of toothpaste because of the great pricing - the good news is, its so cheap you dont feel bad about getting 5 or 10 at a time!
Good stuff cheap. The store is hardly well kept but at the same time you come here for bargains and only once did I leave without finding anything. A bit of advice their electronics are mostly refurbished gamble if you wish I would rather do that at Greek Town Casino.
I simply love this store!! Went here to buy the daughter a bible and left with multiple bags!! Its like a warehouse of savings. I bought Kelloggs raisin bran for$2 (normally about $4 and some change). Also their candles(yankee) are almost $10 cheaper than Walmart! They have almost everything you need. The staff are always pleasant and helpful. The store is clean and easy to maneuver and shop. They have the cheapest and most festive holiday decorations!!... The feminine products are surprisingly cheaper than dollar stores. There merchandise is name brand and of good quality. While there prices are ridiculously low you can save even more money if your a member. Bought a scale, seems of good quality will do update to inform of quality....
I like Ollies I specifically go there for bath towels and body washes for the whole family. I always spend more than I plan because there is always a deal on something. You have to do a bit of hunting to see what all is available. Staff is always nice and they have a rewards card.
The store is always organized and clean has a ton of products ...small kitchen appliances ,cookware and , houseware, office supplies carpets &flooring, outdoor furniture and garden supplies cleaning products books, clothes toys bedding ,food and other seasonal items for entertaining and Hollidays most importantly the prices are very good 😍
Prices are Good on most items... But the organization of the store needs improvement... Cluttered... Customer service is LACKING while shopping... Example if you ask a employee for something they will tell you they dont know or they out of stock without even checking... And some will display a face or EVIL BASICALLY SAYING DONT ASK ME NOTHING... Ollies could do better if the atmosphere at this location was more friendlier and cheerful...
Fun change of pace store to find discounted items and look around. Really I take my kids here for books. They have an awesome book selection and the prices you cant find anywhere else. For Christmas got my nephew a giant astronomy table book. Online i was finding them for 20 to 50 dollars. Ollies i got a 40 dollar book for 9 dollars.
This store stresses me out sometimes. The aisles are too close together, theres always clutter in the aisles. I dont like how they wont sell floor models, its hard to find someone to help you. There prices are nice and they have a lot of different items you dont see anywhere else.
The cashiers are friendly for the most part. The store always has new stuff coming in and things are easy to find. The smell sometimes reminds me of a thrift store. If you dont feel like looking through random stuff just go to a regular store, you may find that there is not a big price difference.
I like the bargain deals. The only thing though is that, despite they are selling tons of hand sanitizers, there is nothing for customers to use at the entrance. When i asked the cashier if she can hand me a little bit of the hand sanitizer on the counter, she said no,this is exclusively for staff.Being a place where people come and go,would it be reasonable to at least provide alcohol wipes/or whatever less costly sanitizer for the customers or for santizing their carts ..its not all about the income..please PROTECT your customers too..A little bit of hand sanitizer or cart wipes won’t take too much from your income.Heartland the grocery store beside you improvised some sanitizer/cart cleaning supplies at the entrance for the customers.Maybe u can learn something from them. You need to protect ur customers not just your staff.Sometimes, social distancing isn’t enough
Ive gone here with a friend every now and then mainly to just buy random weird closeout foods, like unsuccessful cereal flavors etc. Cheap prices on perfectly good food and such. Cant comment on much else. I mean, for what it is, I guess its a good place. I have no frame of reference for how to rate a barga ok n closeout store. Probably better than typical dollar stores?
I like Ollies great prices. Their Inspirational Book selection is my favorite section. This store seems to need more staff as the lines are always extremely long, the store is messy, and there is never anyone on the floor available to assist customers. Staff is friendly despite all of the unorganized state of the store.
Im 9 and a half months pregnant. Went in to buy a rug for my nursery. I was a little disappointed to learn that the one I originally planned to purchase was no longer available. (They rotate stock frequently, so if you see something you like, buy it when you can!!) I found an alternate option that I liked equally as my first choice, and the sales cashier that cashed me out was very nice and patient as I struggled to find my Ollies membership card for the points. When I finally found it, and discovered I didnt have enough points worth redeeming, she was very generous in still giving me the 15% off of my purchase.
We had ALOT of luck here today. The store was full of bargains & if their recent closeout buy is something you need, you will save 60-70% off retail. Worth stopping by to have a look around - never know what youll find - carpeting, flooring, appliances, bedding, auto, sports, food, books, seasonal, hba, pets, home goods, outdoor, paint, clothing etc.
They really DO have good stuff cheap! They also have helpful staff! A great place for books, toys, small kitchen .appliances, housewares, bedding, candy, K cups, some furniture, DVDs, etc. If u havent been, u should go. Warning: this store has stuff everywhere & can be a sensory overload for those w such sensitivities. My son & I r both ADHD & went last year on Black Friday for the first time. We were both a bit overwhelmed but stuck to r shopping lists & emerged quite victorious. Its totally worth a trip! 😁
Nice place, brand names at lower prices. Some off-brand discount products, and deals in bulk; but you dont always know what the quality will be. Not every price is the lowest for an item, but for a brand name it usually is.(Example: $7 name brand hair dye is $3, but I can find no name for $1.)
Like the store but they need to hire more staff because there lines are too long also didnt like once I was finally near the cashier to pay for my stuff after standing in a long line I was told by the cashier that line was only for debit and credit cards not cash. So I had to get in another long line. They should put up some type of sign for that so cash customers dont get in that particular line. The store could be better and they need to hire cuz there no way you have 5 lanes and only two open. Wont be going there anymore
Like it they always have different things each time I go the people are helpful and very friendly. I like there warranty on their items etc., again when you see what they have if you dont get rite away when they say good stuff cheap and when its gone youre gotta luck.
One of my most favorite stores ever. Its like a little adventure everytime you go in. I never go there for a particular reason I just go there and shop. Sometimes the lines are long and people are rude as hell but that will never deter me from going. I love this store and all the random products in each isle.
There are some discounts, but searching for real bargains is a mess. On the upside, finding the flavors no one purchased in season can be funny; who knew there were so many funky pumpkin spice thing? Its not for me, but seeing the overstock makes me feel less lonesome in my hatred for all things pumpkin spice.
I love this store but the checkout lanes needs to be taken care of much better. It took far too long and there was only one lady ahead of me, then the cashier was about to tell me my total and the phone rang and she answered it and instead of putting them on hold, she had me wait there for her phone call to end.
It was interesting. I ask a male person to help with a rug and he was assistance me instead of him telling her he was assistance me he left me an said he would be wright back,he finished helping the other custom and disappeared after waiting to long I went to the cashier and told her she apologise. I spending over $100.00 dissatisfied custom Cornelius Logan

2022-06-05Ollies is a fever dream of a store. The never quite have what you need but they have something that will kind of do sometimes. The store always looks like it could use a good mop and some organization aswell though theyre always short staffed it seems so I can see why it isnt.

2022-04-29Very well organized better selection and the cashiers put the customer first (not like Taylor location). The prices are visible on all items I didnt have to find the manager, restroom needed attention but the store is very clean.

2022-02-27Wow! Where do I start?? I had a really nice cashier at register 1 but poor thing was pale as a ghost and said she felt really dizzy. One of her coworkers was near her and she told her nearby coworker that she felt like she was going to pass out! I think her name was Deb? Deb proceeded to tell the young girl at register 1 that she was a hypochondriac and “faking it” to get out of working. I have had this nice girl ring up up a couple times I been here and she is always kind and happy. I’m looking at my receipt now and her name is Carol… the cashier was telling me that she has a disability and she felt very sick. After one of her coworkers relieved her, this is where things got bad. I had to use their bathroom so once I was done using their bathroom.. I started hearing yelling from the one room where it says “employees only” I think it may be the real room. The one coworker who called Carol a hypochondriac was yelling at Carol because I let a manager know how unacceptable and unprofessional Deb saying out loud “you are faking it and are a hypochondriac” in front of many customers. I overheard Carol in the employee break room explaining to Deb that she didn’t snitch on her, Carol kept telling Deb that she is disabled. Deb said to her “why the *insert* f-word working here if you are supposedly disabled!” WOW telling someone disabled that she shouldn’t work! I couldn’t believe what I was hearing! My heart was breaking for Carol and I could hear her from the bathroom crying! I am a regular Ollie’s customer but today left a bad taste in my mouth! I did let a manager know about what happened when I was up front checking out at register when Carol let Deb know to felt like she was going to pass out… I even saw Carol shaking and her legs were buckling up. She turned pale white and I just still can’t get over how Deb treated her. Calling her a faker and hypochondriac in front of everyone! How unprofessional!
