I would rate 5 stars for clothes but I have to give a 3 for buying. I’m disappointed I came in with 3 bags of full great quality clothing and it seem like they didn’t even go through it. For example they took a sweater but not the pants to match but when I’m walking through the isle I see clothes that shouldn’t even have been bought . They passed on these shoes and these didn’t have any creases or marks. A lot of the clothes had tags or were barley worn. You guys have to do better with picking and buying clothes . Other than that I like to shop here .
The staff is friendly and helpful. They offered me a fair trade-in for our gently used clothes. The optional bonus when you choose store credit is a great perk. There were multiple trade-ins being processed that day so the inventory seems to constantly be replenished. A lot of the clothing items in the 18-24 month range were still summery but I look forward to coming back to get winter gear for my toddler once the weather gets cooler.
I really love coming to this location. Its always fully stocked, the items are clean and in very good condition, and there are plenty of new with tag items too. The staff is also super friendly. My last visit was yesterday and they have social distancing signs tapped to the floor. One of them is loose and my toddler and I took a bad fall. I have a bruise the size of my hand on my right thigh. Thankfully my toddler is okay. I urge you guys to remove the signs and invest in the heavy duty sticky kind all other stores (Kroger, tj maxx, Meijer, etc) have.Still giving 5 stars because the store is great. This was just a bad or cheap call by the manager or owner.
I understand that the items that are being appraised are gently used but I dont agree with the accuracy. It seems like every time I bring them something... Basically new... they always a lowball me. I just started selling items on OfferUp. Once upon a child is a very nice place but they dont give you with your items are worth even with them being used.
April was very rude to me today. I understand if you cant look through the shoe bins located behind the registers, but instead of RUDELY saying no and theyre there in the bins of shoes Im allowed to look through, why not ask if I maybe need some help finding another shoe in the bins? That would be great customer service. I also sat in line for 8 minutes, while she talked to a customer in front of me about her son. Did not bother to ask for my rewards number before giving me a total. Contacted corporate already. I will not be back, and will be taking my business to Novi once upon a child.
Daughter and I happened to stop in to this location while visiting Canton from out of town. We were shopping peacefully when some tall woman behind the counter started screaming at me that I could not be in the store without a mask on. I pointed to my full face shield. She screamed something about only tight fitting masks were allowed and how dare I when babies are so vulnerable.... I didnt even try to explain that due to a auto-immune disease I have damaged lungs and cannot wear a tight fitting mask. I thought her approach was rude and uncalled for. She could have come over and told me nicely instead of screaming. This is the 1st and only time since Covid started I have been told no on my face shield. I will never shop there again.
I have been going to this place for a while now to shop and participate in the buy back for about 4 years now. Recently went there to take items and was very disappointed. I was told that they were only accepting clothes that were complete sets. I had an entire container organized with matching sets together and staff took apart those sets by taking pants or jackets from those sets and giving me back only parts of sets.
Service is not very pleasant. At buying time it is unpleasant. The clothing they have is in generally good shape. It is reasonably priced and there are a lot of choices. The book prices are too high and selection is anemic. They have a wide variety of toys but many show signs of wear or miss pieces. I like that they are still trying but staff seems unhappy and management is stiff. Parking is plentiful. Traffic is heavy at peak hours.
Nice staff, nice prices. The toys and clothes I saw were all clean and in good condition. I enjoy coming here frequently to look for hot toy items for my two little girls, and I always find a few cute outfits I cant bear to be without. The shoe section could be organized better, but I dont blame them. Its a lot to keep organized, and I didnt have to search for too long to find the correct sizes.
I love going to this place for baby clothes and new mom gear. Your kid grows out of clothes so fast so why pay full price for clothes! Plus, most of the clothing here is in great condition so its really a bargain. Sign up for their rewards program so you know when they have deals on clearance. 10 pieces of clothing for $8? Yes please.
This place used to be better. Theyre normal pricing guide is to give you one quarter of the cost of New item because they will sell it for half the price. I get that but the last few times Ive been they dont want to give you anything for items. I had some brand new unopened toys they only offered $0.03 on the dollar for. The last time I went I put new batteries in a toy to show it worked, they didnt want it and after I got home realized they stole the batteries. Im done with them.
TERRIBLE STORE AND CERTAIN EMPLOYEE .... first off I have NEVER wrote a review in my life but I was so upset during my visit that I had to warn others. I am also a very easy going friendly person that gets along with others very well. This particular employee at this store was so extremely rude and prejudice that I am still fuming right now. I went there with many products and I feel from the minute I walked in she was being so picky and obnoxiously RUDE! I was so insulted by her demeanor and way she looked at my baby products. I am a VERY clean person and she threw such a fit over tiny little stains. My products were very clean and I was so upset the way she treated me and my sister. And then how she picked through my sons like new clothes made me sick. And her every response was sure sure. Well I took it with a grain of salt until we looked around at their items they had for sale. I wish I would have took pictures to show all the stains and actual DIRT in one of the swings they had for sale. And then told me a brand new angel care monitor in the original box and packaging was recalled but yet she couldnt show me where it said it was recalled at. The thing that made me more upset is the way she put the monitor back in the box and packing. Just threw it in there to where the box wouldnt close. Usually something like this wouldnt upset me but this lady had no customer service nor personality. Please be careful and warned before you go there and waste your time. They give you garbage prices for nice items. I have honestly never had such a bad experience, and for being a first time customer you would think she would have been friendly. She was not even approachable. Will never return. She should have some repercussion for the way she treats customers. I would recommend anyone to do their business and shopping elsewhere! Terrible store!
Has a lot of really cute clothes for good prices. Im pretty sure they only accept clothes that arent torn or stained, so even though they sell used clothes and toys, youre still getting good stuff. It looks like they have regular sales, too. So if your kid went through a random growth spurt, and need to get a new wardrobe for 100 bucks or less, heres the place for you.
Great prices on the items theyre selling and tons to choose from. But when it comes to them buying clothes and toys off of the public... it looks as if they are unable to squeeze anything else in the store. They mostly only took my very pricey name brand clothing leaving behind perfectly good cute unstained stuff.
Had such a bad experience here today. The lady told me that my items (inflatable balls) brand new in the pack were from the dollar store and that she couldn’t sell them (they were NOT from the dollar store). If she didn’t want to sell them she could said it in a better way. Will not be returning here.
This was our first time selling baby items. We dropped off a bunch of items before closing last night and came today to see what the offer was. The cashier we were sent to took a bunch of stuff and tossed it at the end of the counter without saying a word. She came back to the register with a blue tub and just said this is what we are offering you and sign on the line. She was very rude. We did take the offer but we felt things should have been explained to us and she should have talked to us better. She really did not want to take care of us. She made my husband and I feel very uncomfortable. We buy stuff often from the store but after today we will not go back. If people are kind while we are making purchases then they should be the same when we are selling.
I have twins and I wish I had known about this store before they were born. My mom found it shortly after and we have bought most of their clothes here. I was very happy. I have found Barbies and a Barbie dreamhouse. Like everyone else when going to sell, even brand new things their veiled response is always too much staining or wear and tare. I will definitely keep going though for the great finds and just know I wont be selling much.
Only living one star because there’s no option to leave no stars. I brought in a bin full of clothes took five items and only gave me 4.95 for them. My mother also brought in a bin full of clothes and they only gave her three dollars for six outfits. Then I leave with my item that I thought I bought to find out that they made me come back in with the receipt saying they didn’t put my store credit on which I’m pretty sure they did. I think they just made my mom pay for the shoes again, so I’m pretty sure they robbed us. Where is the place I’ve ever been to. I won’t be coming back.
This location is ok but Ive learned its all about who is doing your buy. I have had clothes brand new with tags be passed on yet see ugly, stained, ripped, faded or out of style clothes hanging on the racks. They certainly dont offer much. For items so they certainly should do better than that when trying to shop there.
This business is wonderful. Awesome customer kind hearts and warm spirits. I ve been shopping here since my oldest child was was born and he is 4 now. And will for sure keep shopping here till my kids out grow the store. Thank you for all the help. - Sincerely a single mom with a car situation
My favorite place for used children clothes. We take our gently used items here to sell them and walk out with a new wardrobe. Store is well organized though the racks are sometimes pretty packed and hard to sort through. You might get more reselling yourself but the process is much easier and you get 20% more $ for your items if you choose instore credit. Weve been going to the Monroe store for years and the staff is super friendly.
Ive never had a bad experience at this store. Its clean, neat and the employees are so friendly. I work in retail so I know how hard it is to deal with so much everyday. But Ive bought strollers, bouncers and clothes and sold them right back to the store. The money they offer me is always good. Going back soon to sale a lot of clothes and probably end up with more lol thanks!
Way to picky when they buy clothes. I brought freshly washed clothes in great condition, but they didnt take much. I guess the stained clothes I often find on the racks are more their taste. Speaking of taste... I also found a few baby carrots in the pocket of a girls jacket. Just saying. Get over yourselves, its a re-sale store.
I feel very insulted brought a lot of new items and name brand items. I brought a NEW JUMPEROO IN BOX NOT OPENED NEVER USED THEY HAD THE NERVE TO SAY ILL PAY 17 for it when it cost me over $90 they buy it for 17 and sell it for 80 ripping people off whom really need the cash. I had previously brought a used one at the Ann Arbor location and they offered me $15 how does that make any sense? And it was an older model. Complete RIP OFF AND RUDE WHEN I WANTED TO SEE THE CLOTHES THEY PICKED OUT as if I couldn’t see SO UNPROFESSIONAL I HONESTLY FELT HUMILIATED. If your looking to sell your items don’t bother coming here
I was very disappointed in my experience. I brought a huge bag of some really nice things in. Most of the things were brand new, never worn and designer label. I only buy my child the best. I was offered a measly $13 for like 5 items. It was baffling. The vast majority of their merchandise was outdated and ugly. If you take in anything thats looks remotely nice theyre not going to buy it. In the future Ill donate things to Salvation Army or give them to family. Huge waste of time.
Today I went to this location. However, I was not that impressed. The location in Ann Arbor has you sign in on a computer. It makes it easier when you have bags or bins you are trying to bring in. At this location you have to fill out on a piece of paper. This location does not text you letting you know you can pick up your clothes.I did not catch any of the employees name while i was there. There name tags arent that noticeable. I did not get a receipt saying what they took and why they didnt take items. I just signed saying they can take the clothes. However, I did not receibe a receipt saying the money offered to me.I dont understand why you dont take Gerber clothing. If you are need to a size they should take the article of clothing. I am not sure why you wont take clothes that are not in setsI am sure if you need the size this company should take it.I thought the layout of the store was okay. It was clean. However, would have a little bit more distance between the selling of clothes and the check out line. I wad surprised that there are more girl clothes then boysm I was very impressed with the shoe locations.
This place is maybe on the more expensive side for thrift but they seem to be a little more selective about what they keep which does save you some time digging through racks. Its also nice that they have a selection of cheap used toys: perfect for bribing a little one who is stuck shopping with you! Fairly clean for a thrift shop too. Havent tried selling old childrens clothes there yet but I think I will!
Dont try to sell them anything!!! They advertise they are accepting items but how could they be when the racks are so filled to the brim with items you cant hardly get anything out without accidentally breaking a hanger. The items i brought in never before worn girls flip flops, girls dresses from their store that my girls never even wore but maybe once, among other things that are still in good condition some stuff sealed in ziploc bags. I dont even think they looked in my bags!!! They said they would not purchase due to an odor. Are you kidding me!!! The entire store, clothes and toys have an odor. Everytime i buy clothes from here i have to wash them twice just to get the odor out of them and wash/sanitize my hands as soon as i leave. Not to mention the cashier was not friendly at all i had $10 off available and i had to ask her to use it. She should have asked me. I spend way too much money in this store to continue to be treated like Im less than them. They make you feel like garbage here.
Have been coming to the store with my wife for a couple of years and we always got things that we needed but the last few times we have come there we have gotten bad customer service. Dijon is the name of the employee that has helped us the last few times that we have been there and she always is so rude with us. She acts like she doesnt want to help us. We were trying to sell a walker and it didnt have a toy which we originally bought from the store without a toy on it which was fine but her attitude was horrible about it. We have previously called to talk to a manager about her attitude and obviously that hasnt helped because she still is very rude. My wife and I made a decision today that we will never come back to this store because of the poor service we have gotten from her the last few times we been have there. We will take our business to the Ann Arbor store where they have amazing customer service.
The customer service is far from pleasant to be working at a childrens clothing store. No one is forcing them to be there. I recently sold about 7 pairs of shoes and a few pair brand new and they offered me $3. I took the store credit. I dont know how their scoring works I just thought that was pretty low. I find so many clothes that are worn with obvious stains. I suppose those items are ones they missed. I like the theme of this store but it could use some tweaking.
Theyre just really strict about everything. If you are bringing a toy make sure all the buttons work. They denied my best price I dont because the button didnt work so I took it home use a little WD-40 and all the buttons work fine now so I will be taking it back up there.
*UPDATE**After going through the bags of clothes I had dropped off, I could tell that they did not even bother going through them at all!! What a COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME, and a total joke.I had taken in about 4 large bags of boys and girls clothes, unfortunately I also walked out with the same 4 large bags of clothes. They didnt take very many items at all!! The reasons were that the others were out of style and too worn, things had only been worn once or twice and were mainly name brand, from last season or last year!! When I was looking through the clothes that they had, I was shocked at the prices, along with how old and worn they were!!The staff was for the most part rude and disrespectful. They acted like it was a huge inconvenience to do their jobs!! There were 2 very nice women there, who honestly looked embarrassed about the way the rest of the staff was acting. Theres no way that I will wasteanymore time or energy with that store!! 😡😡😡😡
This place is a rip off. I brought in clothes with tags that my daughter was never able to wear and shoes, an entire bin full. Was told that all the clothes were stained as to reasons why they didnt want to purchase them. Which was a complete lie because again...most still had tags. They wanted to buy 5 pairs of shoes however, in brand new condition for $6. What a joke! Will never buy or sell to this place again!
Worst place ever to take kids toys and clothes All they care about are their profits. Have to fight tooth and nail just to get to take something. Came with a car full and they took one bin. I know darn well there are people that could use this stuff. Better off donating to someone who actually need it.
The baby clothes are great ! What I dont agree with is the way they buy your big baby items. They only try to give you $20 for big items such as a play pen, bassinet and swing. I brought it a play pen deluxe with a bassinet and they only wanted to give me $25.50! And they are going to sell it in there store for $100. I dont think so. I paid $200 for it. They are a rip off !
I took clothes and toys to Once Upon a Child Canton, MI and a V-tech walker was a toy I took. I was sure I’d get something for it because it’s $35 new and in perfect condition. They said to give them an hour and a half, so I went next door. When I got back they hand the walker back to me and say “it’s broken” because the front panel that comes off and on won’t stay on. Well that’s interesting because it’s ALWAYS stayed on, and it stayed on when I put it in the car and it stayed on when I carried it into THAT store and put it on their counter, but when I go back it’s broken?!! I’m angry now. Not only did I get nothing for it but I’m stuck with a now-broken toy. It’s otherwise in perfect condition. I was in customer service for years and at the stores I worked at we’d have offered the customer something for it to keep them coming back if the customer was that adamant about. But nope, nothing. They all just looked at me then ignored me, they couldn’t have carried less. I wouldn’t have been able to carry it in the place if the front didn’t stay on! So I’m not happy, not just about the money but the principle of the thing and the way I was treated. So I won’t be back, and I told all the moms I know about it too. I wouldn’t trust them with your stuff! (And like others have said, they also have a habit of rejecting perfectly good stuff that’s never even been worn and even in season too).
Nice selection of baby clothes. I had a good first time experience here except for a certain someone being somewhat racist and not excepting my almost new baby clothes for whatever reason. And only excepting my tagged brand new items. Like really? Smh My babys clothes were barely worn and actually pretty nice. And then when I started shopping I saw stains in ALOT of the clearance clothes there. None of my babys clothes had stains or anything. Just racist, prejudice or whatever. But besides that one person the place is pretty nice.
Its not worth the time to bring in clothing. My sons items were either washed and never worn or gently used. Over half of the clothing I brought in was turned away. I took out one shirt that I know for a fact was never worn and asked why and the employee was seeing an imaginary stain. They sell onesies but apparently dont buy them. I brought in several washed and never worn 0-3 months long sleeve onesies that they turned their nose up at. It wasnt worth the hassle for me to drive 60 miles round trip for $60 in store credit and still brought home over half of the clothing I was trying to get rid of. While shopping I found several long sleeve onesies that didnt have pants .... but mine were rejected for lack of pants. I also saw lots of clothing that was very worn that didnt belong on the sales floor. I wont be back. Im better off donating my unwanted items at a church and doing my shopping elsewhere. Staff wasnt very friendly either.
Offer very low for very expensive brands, turn down most great quality non faded non stained, non wash wear having etc items. But very confusing is the clothes you find packed way too tightly on the shelves that u can hardly even pull out to look at (very time consuming to not just slide item a little and pull out while hanging still) are all faded pilling outdated dingy etc and priced too high... A faded 2007 dress for $ No thanks.
I was a bit hesitant to stop by and see if I had any items worth selling after reading many reviews but I did anyway. It was around 5 and was jam packed-HOWEVER-even with all of the chaos, all of the employees were very kind, efficient, and professional! I was so relieved, We had to wait a little over an hour but it was no big deal because there are many other things/places to see. I did sell a few things. They didnt buy as many things of mine that I thought they would, but I now can see why considering the store is packed with varieties of everything. And I will be returning soon :)
Ive went to this location at least four times. Ive brought brand new never been worn clothing consisting of Nike, childrens place, crazy 8, Jordan, etc and they never take more than one or two things. Ive brought in four totes of things and knew exactly how I packed it. Could tell they didnt bother going through ANY of it. And to top it off 3 of those 4 times they werent even clOse to busy. Not to mention after my first stamp for an opt for 20% off, I NEVER GOT ANOTHER.The last girl I saw I gave a brand new out of the box rocker. Fully in tact, even batteries to have it work. 7.50?! Really?! A 30$ rocker. They had taken all day to deliberate and I had found baby Einstein movies and some discounted swimwear for my infant.Told her I WANTED STORE CREDIT. DIDNT GIVE IT TO ME. IGNORED ME. CHARGED ME FULL PRICE and the swimwear was on clearance 😒😒😒.Needless to say. Im over this location, their employees with TERRIBLE customer service and their prices/sell exchange. Not to mention the fact I feel unwanted, a burden and patronized EVERY time Ive been there.Be-freaking-ware.-5⭐
This is a beautifully laid out store. Its huge and double the size of all the local once upon a child stores in Metro Detroit. The store is clean and pretty well organized. You can actually bring your stroller inside the store and be comfortable. However when it comes to finding actual deals, it depends on what your opinion of a deal is. I am pregnant with my 4th child and came in looking for baby equipment. Their baby swings were 70 dollars on average and most were well used, faded and some were dusty/dirty. For 70 bucks, I would think they would clean off the equipment and make them look more presentable. There were crumbs in the cracks of the seat strollers and the wheels looked like they have seen better days.I was able to score a NEW swing from Amazon during their baby sale for 72 bucks. You need to keep checking on sales and cartwheel. Also some of their name brand clothes like Gymboree were 10-12 bucks for a shirt. Gymboree is having great sales now and with their coupons you can score better prices.I wanted to LOVE this store because with 4 kids I need to stretch my budget. But I cant LOVE it because for the price/quality of used clothing and equipment I wasnt impressed. You will get much better deals at Mom2mom sales as a buyer and you will get better bargain as a seller since once upon a childs cash offers are very small. Moms keep checking Amazon, Target, baby gap, kohls etc. Sign up for their coupons. I am able to cloth my kids in new clothes for a great prices for cheap. If you have multiple kids like me, online shopping will be your best friend.I do have to say, I did score an almost brand new pair of stride rite school uniform shoes for 11 bucks. I was also able to score a few Disney Nightgowns for 3.50 which worked out. But you need to search and you really need to come child free in order to make the most of your time. There are deals to be found but its a hit or miss. If you have time to kill or are passing through, stop in and start searching. You might be surprised what you can find. However this is not a place I will go out of my way for.
Dont waste your time at this location. Store is big but its very disorganized . Half the stuff is in the wrong spot. The ladies are not friendly , they are overpriced here compared to other location. Save yourself a trip and to to the Once Upon a Child in Novi instead. Way way better! Nicer clothes, better brands and novis is very organized.
Every once upon a child that i go to has workers with bad attitudes! Plus I might as well buy clothes at regular stores because their prices continue to rise. The prices for second hand are the same for brand new but with 2nd hand i have to wash them before they can be worn. Also when Ive tried to sell some very nice things to them in great condition they rejected them or offered way less than they were worth. Its ridiculous because i see clothes in there all the time that are worn, faded and sometimes stained so i dont know what qualifies as good quality to them. Its time consuming to look through and prices continues to rise. Im over once upon a child.
Way overpriced! Every time I go into this Once Upon A Child, I am shocked by the price of the items. Just today, I went looking for 6 month girls dresses, and they had a Healthtex sweater dress, that had a huge pull, for $6.50! 😳 That is a ridiculous price for that dress, not only was the dress damaged but it wasnt a brand name. They are selling used clothing at prices you can find at the regular store clearance section. I just discovered that the Novi Once Upon the Child has better prices and selection. Thats going to be my go to from now on!
Like going here for less expensive used baby and kids stuff, but sometimes things are priced high compared to buying new. Cashing out was disorganized and confusing. There were 3 employees, and a line of about 5 customers. One of them took the man in front of me because the woman being rung up had a cart load of items, and then all three employees were back helping the same woman, then once I got up to the register they took the person behind me on another register as if purposely having me wait, or didnt want to ring me up for whatever reason.
0’stars would do after this experience. Every time I come here they refuse my clothes for “staining”.I sent in a friend of a lighter color with the exact same bag of clothes, they accepted half of the same bag I attempted to drop off: I will absolutely never purchase or donate another thing to this company. Appalled.
Love OUAC! They have great deals on gently used kids clothes, great sales, etc.. you cant beat it. Lacking one star because the staff can be a little rude sometimes and the shelves often get really overcrowded and the store gets messy easily which makes it difficult to find things.
Love great deals on used kids clothes, tons of inventory. Only disappointing thing was at check out, there were a few cashiers, but then 1 stepped away without the people in line knowing, and they were left waiting while others behind them got helped by other cashiers until the 1 that left eventually came back.
Brought in some really nice clothes to be looked at and they rejected all the clothes because of a little “wear” this place sells used clothing. Ridiculous. Of course there will be some wear to the clothing. I understand not taking clothes with some staining but seriously. I will not be returning to this location.
I used to love oupac. They had great sales & the rewards program when you shopped for getting 20% off was awesome. One day I went in & I was supposed to be at my 20% off & they had changed the whole system, no warning to its customers, which I felt was deceptive & unfair to loyal customers who had reached their mark. Now if you get to a certain amount of points (1pt per $10 spent I believe so it takes forever & now you have to reach 40pts not 20) you can get $5 or $10 but it takes you back down in points...ok, the new rewards system sucks & you really have to watch the prices on some of the used clothes because I can actually find new clothes on sale for some of the prices they have stuff marked at, but my true complaint is the near false advertisement in their texts for sales. For ie, I received a text saying comimg in for their winter coat kick off reply yes for my savings. I replied yes & the text confirmed I would receive my savings when I came in. At checkout I inquired about this & the girls said oh no thats just your points youve earned. I even showed them the text & they agreed that is NOT what the text said or appeared to say. They said I could message my complaint on fb or email. I emailed HQ & never received a response. My shopping there now is a last resort. You have to deceive your customers to get them in the doors now? I loved this place from the time my son was born up just until probably this past year, so nearly 4 years. What happened to this once great company? Sad.
I wouldnt even give my experience a one star customer service was terrible I brought in all brand new baby clothes never worn including premie clothes she took about five outfits i brought in a baby swing that had a faded stain on it and they refused to take it when there was many for sale in the store with stains and DIRT on them for 65$ absolutely disgusting. The toys sold in the store didnt even work they were broken yet still up for sale. Complete Rip off will never return to this store.
Came on a Sunday; long line of people waiting and I can see at least 8 people working. Only 2 registers and the people on the registers are taking their time; after they are done ringing a person up they would kind of wander around and talk to their coworkers behind them. They seem nice enough but if you plan time come here make sure you have plenty of time. Extremely slow service.
This place is a joke when trying to sell things to them. I have had nice items in good condition and gone through and got the stained ones out. They tried telling me that the clothes were worn out or stained. Such a freaking joke! Dont waste your time selling your stuff here might as well try selling it yourself for more and not deal with their non sense excuses!!
Make sure you call before you take things into this store to sell. They do not take items that are listed on the website. Apparently they have their own site - not just the Once Upon A Child site. The staff was very stuck up both when we went in to drop things off and when we came back later. The staff at other locations are MUCH nicer!!! I will not be returning to this location and recommending others do the same!
I did go for the first time yesterday to this place, first I made a call telling that I had a jogger stroller and they said that if was clean and in good shape they will take it, I was little afraid about the bad comments in here but since I cross the door the ladies were very nice with me and even I need to make the line while they were checking the conditions of the stroller (a super long line) they didn’t taking so long, I couldn’t stay for check the clothes and stuff but I saw very nice almost brand new toys and for sure I will come back to buy stuff there for my 8 months daughter and my 3 years old girl
Took in clothes 2 big bags full of clothes that arent even a year old no stains or holes big brands Disney, Nike, etc didnt take was told they would have bought more stuff if it wasnt in a bag so basically they barely looked at my stuff because I put it in a bag instead of a box
THIS PLACE OFFERS RIDICULOUS MONEY FOR ITEMS YOU BRING IN TO SELL!!! I BROUGHT IN A SWING MY BABY ONLY USED FOR 3 months MY FRIEND PAID $100 for and I got $17.50 for it 😡 I only took it because I have no use for it anymore and none of my friends are having babies 🤦🏻♀️ Never will I go here again!!!!!!! LET ALONE ILL NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO HERE AND SELL THINGS!!!! DO YOU RESEARCH BEFORE COMING HERE!!!!
Make sure you check the prices/sales going on at local stores like tjmax and marshalls sometimes you are not getting a good deal here for second hand clothes and also baby gear such as bouncers...almost bought one for $22 didnt smell the best but was going to wash it changed my mund last minute and found the same one for $24 at tjmaxx
Never will I come back they offered me 10$ for a box of shoes and name brand clothes I told them I will find someone to give them to for free I think when u bring nice things in they dont want to pay what is is worth so now I donate all my kids clothes to daycare centers and they love the quality!
Do not sell anything here I went here to sell a brand dress and brand new onsies never used with tags and was only offered 2.95 for it how pathetic and the staff was horrible I ended up leaving empty handed sadly rather sell my kids stuff on offer up that way i can get the price that I paid not what they want to pay pennies for a new item and the clothing that they have for sale has odors to this store has a musty odor there do not buy anything from they will only give you 2.95 and sell your stuff at higher price you cant buy anything with 2.95 not even a meal at taco Bell or Wendys cant even not enough for gas
The Canton store is a joke we took in a bag full of new clothes and all they gave us was $2.10 talk about a slap in the face not to mention the staff at the Canton store are very rude and seem like they are only there for a paycheck for now on we will be shopping at the Ann Arbor store

2022-03-26Picked up some super cute stuff for my daughter and son. I will say some stuff was priced too high but that might just be my preference.(Top my daughter is wearing is also from our picks) pretty sure Ill be going back in a few months.

2022-03-29I brought in some clothes for them to purchase, got there as soon as they opened and didnt have to wait. They offered fair prices for what I brought in and had a great selection of items for me to look through while I was there. Ended up buying a few items in great condition. Will definitely come back in the future

2022-06-02Clean, and usually quick with going through clothes, but I always was offered more $ at the Ann Arbor location. Sold a brand new bassinet to this store and they offered me like $5 for it. Great place for shopping though. Just always seem disappointed if I sell to them.

2022-06-23Gotta appreciate a great deal on excellent pre-owned items for the babies & kiddos! I can pretty much always find something I need or want here for my boys. And being surrounded by hard working, super helpful and friendly staff is a wonderful bonus! Also, love the organization...easy to find what Im looking for (or maybe thats because Ive been there so many times lol).

2022-04-30I have never felt so disrespected in my life. I went in the Canton store to sell brand new and gently used ( worn literally 1 time) items. Only for the csr to tell me that my brand new items with tags still attached as well as two pair of Timberlands along with some other brand named items were only worth a whopping $37. I wasnt asking for a fortune, but at least offer me $80. I asked for a break down because I wasnt understanding. When she told me what they were giving me for each item and then expressed to me what they were going to sell them for....A COMPLETE INSULT!!! For example, one of the items was a brand new diaper bag with tags attached. She said we will give you $3.80 and well sell it for $18. Damn yall making 1000% off these items. Wow!! I gave EVERYTHING I had away to a lady in the parking lot.

2022-06-08I purchased a Barbie doll house from once upon a child and all the pieces were not with it they returned it I paid cash for it and theyre telling me all they can give me a store credit because the barcode was not on the dollhouse when I brought it back so I went home dug through my garbage found the barcode I go back up there and they tell me you need your original receipt. I dont know why they couldnt look it up with the barcode with the numbers on it that I had they wanted to give me $53 store credit and they have the junkiest stuff in that store. I would not take nothing ever again to Canton once upon a child theyre selling broken items the doll house was filthy which I dont mind I went home and wiped it down but I found out all the pieces werent there I thought when you took things in all the pieces had to be there and I also thought that they wanted everything clean. At least thats what they tell me all of their clothes there are very worn their shoes are junk and should be thrown away. But fire beware they like to sell broken things and then screw you out of it when you try to bring it back.

2021-12-19Selection seemed nice and prices seemed fair, but I was confronted for not wearing a mask despite it not being a legal requirement. That in itself wouldnt have been a big issue as I understand it can be their own company policy, but the woman decided to wait until I had been in the store for twenty minutes and had a fairly large selection of clothes picked out to inform me, putting me on the spot and forcing me to leave without spending a dime. I will go elsewhere.

2022-04-05I went to once upon a Child in Canton and had 15 to 20 things in a bag all of it was justice clothing line several of them still had the price tag still on them they were all last year‘s clothing they had the silver name tags in them and all they were willing to give me was $20 and I thought they were worth more than that I did not take the money I told him I would give them away first

2022-04-10Absolutely terrible customer service and rude staff. Not accommodating whatsoever and takes them hours to go through l clothes (on a slow day). Sell to Poshmark or Facebook Marketplace, this store is awful!
