Comment: They demand payment for everything. You have to pay separately for participation in the event and separately for admission to the event. You also have to pay for parking (they specifically closed all the nearest free parking so that no one could park for free) at the same time, if you leave the parking lot, you need to pay for the return entrance to the parking lot.

Comment: Hi Family, what a great place to have a convention for your church or business.We had our Mighty Men of valor conference here with Victory Outreach International.What a great place.Restrooms are good, workers are friendly, and the atmosphere is amazing.If you are looking for a place to have a conference for your church or business, I would suggest you to have it at the Ontario convention center.Another good thing is it is a 10 minute drive from the airport to the convention center.It has a lot of surrounding restaurants and a lot of surrounding hotels.I give it 5 stars.

They had another event going on besides the one I attended on that Tuesday and they werent very prepared in regards to the vendors preparing the meals. They ran out of the food and they didnt accommodate enough seating in the courtyard especially because it was raining they didnt have enough seats inside unfortunately I wasnt very impressed try harder next time Ontario Convention Center especially since you hold a lot of events. You should be better prepared for any type of weather. And educate your staffing charge on politeness and how to handle difficult situations instead of rudeness and being salty.

So there is always plenty of parking especially at a large place like this but when we got there they closed the closet parking lots even though there was still parking. We had to park across the street. They do have handicap parking there but if your is severe it might be difficult for you.

Comment: Came here for the Burbank card show this past weekend. 2/15-2/18/24. The best card show in southern California bar none! Sold a CJ Stroud downtown PSA 10.PSA and beckett were in town. Lots of vendors. Lots of heat at the vendor tables. Great time ! Wish i could have spent more time, but i only visited briefly as it was my bday weekend, and i had other arrangements. Was literally in and out. Picked up my card from PSA and sold it to a random person lol

Comment: I love how the Exhibit Halls have restrooms INside. Exhibit Hall B has The Market at Ontario Convention Center, which serves salads, fruit cups, even soft pretzels among other dishes. MATA EXPO took place here on 11/4/2023, and I attended for most of the day, arriving at 10:45. I thoroughly enjoyed the event, and would gladly attend a similar one at this venue should one be planned here😀

Comment: This convention center was fantastic! They had well-organized parking (for a fee) with plenty of spaces. No ins and outs on the parking, but that was fine. There were plenty of bathrooms, and they were both clean and spacious. There are a ton of different rooms of different sizes as well. Even though it is a relatively small convention center, nothing felt cramped or overcrowded even at a fairly large convention (Creep I.E. Con). They have a handful of small food places inside too, so you won’t go hungry! I enjoyed my time there and would absolutely go back for future events.

Comment: Went for a work profesional development Day. Doors were opened late, parking was a nightmare staff reported no parking and had to circle around for an hour. Staff kept redirecting traffic to lots that were already closed/full. Lunch provided was a sandwich that had little meat but tons of bread. Breakout session rooms were tiny bit enough seating and too noisy from hallway noise, hard to hear presentation even with mic. Restrooms small and out of toilet paper. Staff also reported they weren’t allowed to bring in their own food but were not advised of this by our personnel that coordinated this. Lastly, leaving parking lot took forever, no one guiding traffic or assisting. Overall not ready to handle a large event.

CONVENTION at the Ontario Convention Center!I have to say, the parking and Vendor Load In has always been really smooth, which I obviously appreciate trying to set things up at each show!And the bathrooms are always nice and clean and they never run out of paper towels at the sinks. Nice. They keep an eye on things there.My only issue on Saturday was that it was really cold! I mean, I cant imagine the air conditioning bills, but that entire place was really cold. So, I just brought a light jacket on Sunday and everything was great!Overall.... I always have a great time at the Ontario Convention Center!

Comment: Attended the Inland Empire Disability Expo. My first time at the Ontario Convention Center. Parking is normally $30, fortunately one of the event sponsors paid for all the attendees. The center is fair size, clean and plenty of facilities inside.The food concessions is what you would expect at a convention center... expensive!The expo itself was a great experience.Accessibility: Parking and restrooms were good. No automated doors, but security was holding the doors open. No carpets to bog down manual wheelchairs.

They are very strict with outside food because they provide a concession and snack bar. Someone greets you when you leave the building. Ample parking lots. Close distance to many hotels.

Comment: Went to a convention there. The food was horrible! (In pre-Covid years the food wasn’t anything special but it was decent.) The rooms were often configured in a way that didn’t work for presenting/teaching. And they are still using ancient projectors and the screens were too low so people’s heads would block your view. Overall it was a bad venue and I hope the event organizers choose somewhere else next time.

Comment: We came for a tournament during the Feb 25th 2023 stormy weather, the place ahit off the heater inside, so it was below 50° indoors, everyone freezing and uncomfortable. At the door, the security supervisor allowed after being spoke to, to leave children in the rain on a line for admission, freezing shivering. Little kids, babies, and the rest submitted to very cold in temps, under the rain, it was but unsafe and unhealthy. The security supervisor did nothing about it, said it was not his situation to handle, but the tournaments. We also spoke to tournament people who immediately did something about it. The convention staff is extremely rude and unaccommodating, at the food court, the girls there have such a bad attitude, everything is no and just the overall demeanor of this place was really bad. It was a very uncomfortable weekend, freezing, with coats inside just to be able to live, kids feets were freezing and going numb, and we had to be here three days. The only 1 person with a smile at the door of the tournament was the kind friendly face greeting the competitors. You really need to take care of this unfriendly culture happening at this venue. I dont look forward to returning here

Comment: Went there on a school trip, ok area, relativly safe considering the police station was close to the hotels and convention center. Generally only bad hotels are avalible during big events. Car rentals are 25 and above, lots of walking to get any where important. If you are going to the gun show coming up in may, pack food with you as there are only a few dinners and fast food places around without any exeptional quality. Finally, there is nothing much to do so make sure to take time considering entertainment and relaxation spots; bring your own entertainment as well.

There was little to no line management, but the security was very nice in letting people know that there was little to no wait at the other entrances (which was great to hear since the weather was very hot).Only the first floor was open which led to overcrowded halls and aisles.The exhibition hall wasnt as bad in the spacing of the booths as the artists alley was. I feel like they shouldve have either had another room or moved some tables into the exhibition hall since there was barely any space, especially when people were trying to look at things while walking by, and waiting to buy something was almost impossible without blocking the entire aisle.The staff was very friendly, really only a spacing issue.The parking lots were closed by the time I got there, but theres a good amount of parking on the streets a few blocks away near the convention which was very convenient.

Went to the E.C.C. convention and had a pretty great time except I ended up hanging out with new friends as opposed to the ones I went with but it is what it is. Love the free parking around the venue super close street parking. Or if you want to park on property its not terribly bad. Its $10 for 5 passenger vehicles and then goes up per seat from there. I think for 6 passenger vehicle its 25 and so on and so on. Has great air conditioning. And good staff. The staff could be trained more in certain matters their customer service lacks a bit but over it was deal-able. You could put up with it is what I mean. Comment: I go here every year for ECC and electronic cigarette convention held yearly there. I love coming here for the event. I would say the venue itself is average, but can hold a pretty decent sized event. I dont know if this was a thing specific to the event, but there are no backpacks allowed that was another con. Other than that I really enjoyed my time at this convention center.

Comment: Went for a homeschool convention. Building was easy to find and very spacious. Very clean and plenty of rooms and bathrooms. Plus, they have a nice little cafe. Enjoyed my conference and will be back next year.

Comment: It is a nice convention center... everything looks clean and well done but it has limited parking. Limited parking limits the kind of events that be successful at the location because it limits the number of attendees. Ease of access to the location is also anothernegative with only two minor streets leading toward or away from the location any big event would see traffic badly backed up.

Comment: This place has space like you wouldnt know. The grounds are very well kept, the parking area is close to the entrance which is alsways a good thing. When I went, we had to pay $10 for parking so be ready for that. The inside is extremely spacious, from the outside you really cant get an idea. The staff there is always ready to help and also courteous. Inside there is also a little café where you can buy something to munch on or just hang out. Overall, this was a nice place to visit with very nice features like the café, escalators, and very clear room labels.

Comment: I wish this place was bigger! Ive been here 3 times now for ALA but i feel like some rooms go to waste. Huge rooms are used for small low popularity panels, while tiny cramped rooms are used for huge and popluar panels. The security staff isnt friendly to guests. The food is overpriced even though theres a dennys down the road

Comment: Ive been here for the annual quilting convention held yearly in January and I was there for a scrapbooking convention last November. Its a very nice place. Very clean and modern. The classrooms are spacious. The food is good. The parking is expensive though. Ten bucks . All in all though, its a very nice place to hold a convention.

Comment: I was here for an e-cig convention. The staff were very warm and friendly even though hundreds of people were fogging their place up with delicious clouds. The atrium gives it a nice vibe, the bathrooms are clean and it is a nice roomy place.

Comment: Great venue. Did have issues with side door access. We were allowed to enter that door but not exit. This was the easiest access for seniors wanting to be picked up by hotel shuttles and busses. Poor planning. Also needed more down stairs lunch seating.

Comment: I try not to be a negative reviewer, but the service received from Ontario Convention Center left me with no choice. First off, on a positive note: The convention center is a relatively new and aesthetically pleasing site to host a convention. There are ample housing options within walking distance. The airport is practically across the street. The staff are courteous, but always seem nervous. That about ends any positives.The admin of the OCC seems to be cutting corners and shaving money left and right. The crowd control and traffic flow is atrocious. On the first night of the convention as people were arriving, they had one parking lot attendant selling tickets to their very limited lot. With 4000 anticipated attendees, the line for parking stretched into the boulevard and around the corner. When the lot filled, the guy kept selling tickets which created a nasty snarl inside the parking lot before help arrived to open up an overflow lot across the street. Fortunately, there was only 1 kiosk attendant which restricted the flow of traffic. This is sarcasm for: It was very bad. Do they not know how many parking slots are in their own parking lot? They shouldve anticipated the masses and had the overflow lot at the ready. They also shouldve had people to direct the car traffic to that other lot. Btw, on subsequent nights, their remedy was to bring in a second attendant for thousands of attendees. Parking was still a nightmare.The security checkpoint was a similar nightmare. They claimed it was for your protection, but in the end, I believe they were there to enforce the No Outside Food and Drink rule. BTW, check out other reviewers comments on the food situation. How do you have only 1 guard at a main entrance checking the bags of thousands? Again, can you say, understaffed, bottlenecked, ineffective, idiots.Ok, to end on a positive note...if you were to have a small event at the OCC that doesnt require staffing. Perhaps a small (50 or less) wedding or company meeting. This would be a decent place for your consideration. However, any event where the attendance is expected to be higher, be wary of your preparations and make sure the OCC staffs your event properly.

Comment: Crowded at Gun Show, Expected better parking. Inside was nice and cool ac. Then enter the showroom and it was like ten degrees hotter . Pretty stuffy didnt care for that but good show good vendors would come back in Sept. Show but need Earlier time to arrive to ensure parking..

Comment: Their parking is so affordable compared to even everyday Downtown L.A. rates! Plenty of reasonably priced food and drinks sold in the venue as well! Teams work around the clock during events to keep everything clean.

Comment: Parking is well managed here which is critical for a convention center. Easy to get in and get out with plenty of great hotels in the area. Only thing lacking would be eateries. Lots of fast food, but not a lot of good restaurants.
