They were forthright and transparent. There was no bait and switch nonsense. We knew who the carrier was in advance. And we were charged exactly what we were quoted.I would provide five stars but the process with the transporters themselves was quite difficult, especially leading up to the scheduled time they were supposed to meet us. But, Orange Auto Transport stayed on top of things as best they could. In the unlikely event we need this type of service again, I would have absolutely return to this company.

Comment: Communication errors led to some mixup and then silence. They give you a window of 1-12 hours for your pickup time and then the driver that takes the job may call you 15-30 mins before he arrives which makes it mind-nerving if youre moving out the same day the truck arrives or sometimes theyll say the day before or after your scheduled pickup date. Confusing, nothing concrete until you hear from the driver. They gave me the wrong driver so when I called to confirm, he told me to call Orange because they got the wrong person. Im glad I called because that person wouldve never came. Anyways, service was okay, my vehicle came in, had a dent on the front bumper but nothing major. Communication is just too shaky to rely on them again.

Comment: I received about 10 quotes from different auto transport companies, and at the end of the day Orange Auto Transport gave me the most competitive price. Another company that claimed to price match gave me a quote that was over $1000 more than Orange Auto was asking and couldn’t even come close to “matching” Orange Auto’s price. I was a bit skeptical at first about the low price, but after receiving a couple more estimates in the similar price range, I decided to take a chance with Orange Auto from CA to TX. My vehicles were picked up and dropped off on the days that we were told, and within 3 days we received our cars in TX. I would highly recommend this company to others looking for auto transport, and would not hesitate to use their services again in the future.

Comment: It was such an easy process to get a quote to send off my sons car from CA to FL. My questions were answered quickly & courteously.OAT assigned the transport to High Steppers Transport & they were awesome. The driver, Mannaseh, called us during the time frame given & arrived exactly when he said he would arrive. He was personable & made us feel at ease about transporting the car across the country. We told OAT that we needed to have the car delivered AFTER my son arrives. None of his roommates would be there if they delivered the car before he got home. Mannaseh was so great, he told me not to worry and he would deliver it after he got back. Thats exactly what happened, he kept his word and delivered the car the morning after my son returned. I was so nervous but everything worked out and Mannaseh is so familiar with the route that he knew exactly how long it would take and it was perfect timing.I highly recommend Orange Auto Transport and will definitely be using them again.

This is a review based on my Baby Rogues journey from LA to NJ.To be clear, Orange Auto Transport is a broker, that means they will delegate your transport request to one of their network of companies. This method does seem pretty much the same with bigger companies like Allied or Road Runner. Its not ideal but this is somewhat standard in this industry.From the initial call to OAT, I spoke with Penny and she was friendly and efficient, answering all my doubt filled questions, all without skipping a beat. She was happy to send a quote via email and in my follow-up calls, Penny was just as helpful and eased my concerns about sending my car on an open trailer.Once I agreed to the service (online confirmation via email link), my vehicle was assigned to Discovery Enterprise Logistics. I was contacted by Ms. Lee Tae, who spoke with me and even texted me the name and phone number of the long-hauler.What made DEL different from the start was their way of communication, which was courteous, accurate and...FREQUENT - I mean, you call the dispatch, the initial carrier and even the long-distance auto hauler on their phone and actually speak with them, even before they pick up your vehicle! I felt DEL to be more trustworthy, knowing that I can connect with the driver directly.From the first short-hauler name Bryant, who picked up my Rogue from a shopping center parking lot (my choice as I was going to be the area - they WILL pick up from your residence as a door-to-door service) to the long-hauler Dave, who kept in contact with me from mid-point of his journey (phone/text, even photo of my car on the trailer!), the entire experience of getting my car cross-country was exceptionally great!At the arrival of my Rogue, Dave had already planned ahead and called to let me know that the large auto trailer will not be able to enter the condo. So he recommended meeting him at an area rest stop parking lot to pick up my vehicle, and was kind enough to send me a car share to get me there! We were meeting during daytime to be safe, also brought my extra car keys, my car registration and insurance (removed these before sending out my vehicle!).When I arrived, my Baby Rogue was already unloaded and ready to be inspected. After a satisfied lookaround, I signed off on the bill of lading (same form I signed when my car was picked up) and exchanged my car keys with my final payment. Dave also gave me a copy of the signed bill of lading for my records.It was a truly satisfying experience and SO GLAD to see my vehicle arrive safely after a 2,800 mile journey!!-----------------------------­--------------------­­­­--------LOCATION: Orange Auto Transport is located in Garden Grove, CA, south of Anaheim but as they are a broker, they seem to have no issue covering the Los Angeles Metro region.PROS: This whole review shares the details and the entire process was near effortless! They even allowed 100 lbs of baggage (mostly clothes) in my vehicle, as long as I let them know and not exceed that limit. I was asked to keep my fuel at around 1/4 tank - mine was at 1/2 by the time they picked up my car. It was worth tipping the long-hauler as a small token of thanks for his hard work. Called the dispatch to thank her as well!CONS: OAT is a broker so you may have an issue with that but when my car was assigned to Discovery Enterprise Logistics, my vehicle was never subcontractes out from that point. DEL dealt with the pickup, inspection and safe delivery of my vehicle! Those who mentioned their car was dirty upon arrival, well...it IS traveling in an open transport, mine did have several dead squished bugs.

Comment: I originally contacted 10 different companies to transport a car from San Diego to Atlanta. I had done some research and they had varying degrees of rating from 2 star on up. Lots of what I read prepared me for companies denigrating their competitors and being deceptive. I started with company A with a good quote and decent ratings. This was early June for a June 20 or later pick up. When June 24 came around somehow their quote doubled to $1600. I understood the quote would change some but doubling was offensive. They tried to tell me it was due to Covid. Ummm Covid existed in early June too. I immediately contacted other companies and received several quotes in the $1000-1100 range. Company B was $1000 but didnt have good ratings. While reading reviews I heard about Orange Transport. Good ratings on yelp (didnt think that ever existed), google, and BBB (A+). I got a quote of $1100 valid for 7 days and decided the rating was worth an extra $100. Received a driver the next morning for pick-up that day! But that fell through due to mechanical issues with the truck. Since I had read so many reviews I was suspicious but several days later they had another driver for me and there were no issues. In fact the person helping me with the pick-up of the car mentioned how courteous and nice he was. On time too. The delivery was scheduled for 5 days later which became 6 days. I was very happy with that. The person it was being delivered to said the gentleman called him the day before and gave him a 2 hour window. He delivered the truck within that window and even called a few minutes before getting there. Again, nice person and courteous. Car was in the same condition upon delivery as it was on pick-up. I cannot tell you how good this experience was. I highly recommend Orange Transport and would use them again. From initial contact to dealing with the office people who were all very professional to delivery this was a 5 * experience.

My car was delayed and thats when i tried to look up the information of the contractor- turns out the address for this company was his apartment. Made me a little skeptical and after a 3 day delayed I received my car. I noticed broken glass in my trunk. While my back window was broken and fixed, there was NO transparency about that. I appreciate that it was fixed but I should have been notified. This is the third time i ship my car and this was definitely a first.

Comment: Had such a bad experience with this company. 2 weeks before I needed my car shipped, I scheduled I for the 23rd of December and needed it to be delivered after the 24th and they said okay. Then they changed it to the 21st to make sure it would be delivered on time. In the time leading up to the 21st I got no information on picking up the car and when I called them they just kept saying “someone will call you”. On the 21st no one came. On the 22nd no one came. No one called. Then when I called AGAIN the proceeded to tell me my delivery date was the problem! So basically they kept lying to me about it being delivered on the 24th or so to keep my business but had no intention of delivering it that day. They didn’t get someone to pick it up until the 26th of December. This is 5 days AFTER I scheduled it to be picked up. They kept trying to tell me that my dates were the problem and lied to me consistently just to keep my business. If I were you I’d try to find someone else to ship your car. The only good experience I had was the driver was amazing. He kept giving me updates about where he was and when he would arrive and so forth. But he’s not apart of the company so I can’t give the company points for the driver.

We were so lucky that we ended choosing Orange Auto. The customer service was excellent. I had a couple of small issues on my end that needed attention and the office was very responsive to my needs. Our driver, Efrain, was AMAZING! He was punctual, arriving exactly as promised and he was so careful when loading and unloading our vehicles. He even arrived earlier than expected on delivery. I made the mistake of entering my auto shipping request online into a website that shared my information with dozen of transport companies in the area willing to ship my vehicle. For two weeks the e-mails, phone calls, and text messages detonated.Some of the companies were extremely over priced, as much as $500 compared to others and when asked why such a difference the explanations ranged from mendacious to cantankerous. After hearing all of the sales pitches and why XYZ Company was better than LMN Company and vice versa, I decided to take a different approach. I went directly to the Better Business Bureau website and searched for those auto transport companies that had both the BBB Accreditation Business Stamp and a BBB rating of A+. That’s where I found Orange Auto Transport. From the moment I spoke with Tiffany I knew I had made the right choice, there was no hard sale pressure, and she was very thorough about the process in her first e-mail to me. Not only was Orange’s guarantied price better than 99% of the quotes that I received, they exceeded their own deliver ETA by two days. The trucking company used for my transport was UST Trans Inc. Shaq the driver was friendly and professional and he did an incredible job during his pre-transport inspection of my car, he found and pointed out dings that I had never seen before. Photos were taken and documented; the car was loaded and on its way. I give this guy a 5 star rating also. On the receiving end the driver called my College student daughter the day before, again four-hours prior, with the location of the drop and he called again when he was 30 minutes away giving her ample time to meet at the drop location. If I had to select one word to describe my experience with Orange Auto Transport, that world would have to be PERFECT!

She answered all of my questions and was patient with me as I made several follow-up calls as I arrived at my decision. My vehicle was picked up promptly and delivered within 20 hours to Ohio by MZ Auto, Inc., by Mack. He communicated with me before, during the drive, and upon reaching the destination city to confirm delivery. I found this man to be most reliable and after watching him unload the car...very capable. My auto was delivered without any issues. In closing I had a perfect transaction - delivery. I inquired about a few online, and from there I was deluged with calls, emails and texts all hours of the day (but mostly at the most inopportune hours). Many made initial quotes, then raised such quotes as transport day neared; the average increase was, like, $300 bucks. Im almost tempted to name names in recalling some of these shysters and how they behaved; I felt like I was dealing with an underworld element -- these guys, I swear, were worse than used car salesmen. I found Orange Auto Transport, received a quote, they stuck by the quote--without making any incessant and annoying calls--and they followed through, doing everything they claimed they would do. They were too good to be true. Pickup was precise and perfect, thorough and reassuring. And in the end, they managed to deliver my new 2018 car, 2000 miles across country, three days ahead of time. Prevent the stress of dealing with dopes who claim to know what theyre doing in this industry. Avoid feeling harassed and hounded by scary, questionable companies seeking to take your car away. I was unsure at first whether everything would go well since I’ve shipped a car before.I called on Monday which was my first available pickup date. They confirmed that they had not found a shipper yet but 90+ percent of the time they can on the date. They were able to and with an hour’s notice the driver Shawn was able to pick up my 335i .Shawn made it to Texas before I flew in. My wife met with him at the entrance to our subdivision and paid. Now this lady disappeared and Travis was assigned to me I believe. He sent me the license and insurance information. Then later I got a voice mail from this lady saying that my car was in route already. HOW THE HECK CAN THEY PICK UP MY CAR WITHOUT PROVIDING ME THE LICENSE AND INSURANCE INFORMATION?! well they did! Didnt have a choice but to stay with him.I had to call the driver to get the info about when and where he will come. The ORANGE transport guys gave him the wrong address as well!I got my car. It was missing the mats completely! I tried talking to the driver. He politely said that he doesnt know about it. Then I tried to ask Orange Transport about it. I got a call from TRAVIS and he like started YELLING in my ears. One time they actually HUNG UP on me while I was holding.-When I e-mailed, they took 3 days to respond.-Customer service from the Dispatcher was rude, CHUCKLING at my frustration saying Weve already been here. When I asked to speak to a manager or supervisor he said, I already talked to him.-Expect DIFFERENT NUMBERS to call you, so youre forced to pick up every single phone call just in case its the company.MY EXPERIENCE:ORDER--When I called this company, I specifically said that I NEEDED my car in California (from NJ) by a certain date. The rep said it would take 7-10 days and suggested the date 10 days before the desired arrival date to have my car picked up. I ordered it with that date and even wrote a note on the order saying the exact day and time range I wanted it delivered.INCORRECT DATE--I received a receipt that it would arrive 2 days AFTER the date I wanted, so the next day I called the number given to me (apparently the dispatcher) and told her the situation. She rudely just said no...the broker must have told you that. It takes 10-12 days but I can schedule pick-up to be a day earlier. And I said Okay how can I do that? and she replied, ...I already did.DAY OF PICK UP--Anyone who needs their car transported anywhere knows you dont have time to waste. At this point, I was still rushing to run errands but stayed at home all day waiting for a call for the pick up. I even called the morning of and said, I am waiting for my driver to come and pick up my vehicle. I just wanted to make sure my cellphone is the primary number. I also provided 2 other numbers to reach me at.Finally at 4:00pm, I called and asked the ETA of my driver and the rep said, We have it scheduled for tomorrow...I see here it was moved to today, but we changed it back to tomorrow. I asked why, and he said, well you didnt confirm with us the date...we must have called you. I checked my cellphone, home phone, and mothers phone which had NO missed calls. Then he put me on hold for 10-15 MINUTES.He came back and said We actually changed it back because the Broker was not informed that it would be picked up at this date and did not confirm. I told him I didnt know the Broker had to confirm and that the woman I talked with said she already handled the date change. He said, I understand, you didnt know the Broker had to know... and on implying that it was my fault there was a miscommunication. I went to this company, thinking it was a transportation company--not that I had to be calling multiple different parties.Then he tells me it will be delivered a day even LATER. I explained to him that this is now 3 DAYS PAST my requested date and how much of an inconvenience it is for me, and he CHUCKLED and said, Weve already been here. I asked to speak to a manager and he responded, I talked to him already.

Comment: They were the lowest price. I was worried with that. No need. Great customer service. There was a glitch with the shipper and they were very accommodating and quick to call back every time. I would use them again.

Comment: Good experience. Only reason I gave a 4 was because I had to more or less stalk the driver to find out location of vehicle and delivery day. It would be really convenient if they sent updates and gave a time frame of delivery hours. Car arrived in great condition, just a bit dirty from the road. Would definitely use them again. Comment: I have shipped my car with this company 2 to 3 times now and its been great professional service everytime. This company is also hundreds of dollars cheaper then the competition. I wouldnt transport my car with anyone else.
